Martins plumbing performed a professional installation of a 50 gallon, electric, hot water heater.

BEWARE!
They charge a $175 to get a permit from the city that costs $42 here in Franklin, WI if you get the permit yourself. I was told it was $175 for each permit up front, but the costs were not broken down. I was not told Martins Plumbing charges an extra $133 for them to get the permits online. (Probably 10 minutes work.)

So, for two permits I paid $350 I could have gotten for $84 myself.

My property manager recommended this company to me after I'm so happy with the service that I have to share a little of my sleeping time to share my experience with you. As I listen to my dog snoring, I'll recant the wonderful experience with this family owned business at my new apartment in the Northern WI suburbs

I moved into a community that has well water and after a few weeks of gastric distress, I realized I needed to put a filter on my sink to reduce the amount of plastic bottles flowing (like the Nile before Moses) out my front door to the recycling dumpster every day. Between my dog and I, we drink about 80- 20 ounce bottles each week. It was getting embarrassing; but we couldn't drink the well water even after boiled it! We just weren't hardy enough! Our poor little citified tummies couldn't take it!

I researched and found an undersink mounted filter that my landlord happily approved. However, I'm new in town. My go-to plumber doesn't service this area and none of my friends could help me. I asked the property manager and she stated I could check with their contractor.

Donn and Melissa kindly stepped in to help when the painter who SAID he did wood repair suddenly said he DIDN'T. They came over same day to look at and estimate the wood repair job, then rearranged their schedule a bit so the repair could be finished before the painters started. The estimate was detailed, itemized and included the products used on my home. Since wood is expensive right now, I got two bids. The other only came in $100 less and the individual was not nearly as personable or detailed as BV Handyman. I was unexpectedly called away to an out-of-town funeral and I was completely comfortable having Donn and Melissa do the work in my absence. Their communication through texting and pictures was excellent. They were respectful of my tenant. My boyfriend stopped by to check on the job and said everything was going great. Bottom line: Excellent work. Excellent customer service. Kind people. I will call them first next time!

We had our old water heater upgraded to a power vent water heater.  The existing installation was not done to modern codes and requires additional exhaust modifications of the furnace and water heater.

Everything everyone else said is true!  Mom's sewer was chock full of roots, causing a terrible backup in her bathroom.  He arrived within a half hour and had the problem resolved quickly for a more than fair price.  Why is it the people you don't want to have to deal with are always the kind of people you want to deal with all the time?!?  Thanks, Greg!

We used their services to replace our furnace when it was -30 and our furnace broke down . They were able to replace it quickly! We have been using them (Josh) for the past five years for heating/cooling. Very satisfied. Very professional!

Needed a hot water heater quickly and checked around with people I know in Oregon and also some contractors and this business was recommended by all.  I got a fair price on a new unit and they were polite and friendly.

Jasen from Austin Plumbing tackled the situation right away this morning and told me of the problems with drains linking up with kitchen drains and poured on a slab (we are those unlucky people with no basement! Feel my pain for lack of storage!!) He ran cable trough, hot water with a hose to flush it amongst other correctors. He also suggested using once a month BIO CLEAN Enzymes for drains which I will do faithfully every month. Having 2 cats there is a tendency for cat litter/hair to make its way into household pipes along with everyday grease, hair and particles. We usually had to have this done every few years but hopefully with Austin Plumbing's thorough 'investigation' and corrections and the use of BIO CLEAN, our plumbing problems are over for awhile! Trust me when i tell you rasmussen is an honest and competent company that would hire again. They did a job for me at half the price i was quoted by drains r us!

These guys did a service for the home builder from before we moved in and have now harassed me 3 times for payment, even after I explained that I did not own the home at the time of the service. I even offered to send along our closing docs so she could prove to the home builders that we were not the ones that authorized the service. The woman had the gall to tell me it was my problem and that I should call the homebuilders! Right after which she asked if I wanted winterization services. Would never use them!

Bassett Plumbing installed out water heater without a dielectric union between the cooper pipe and steel pipe. These two metals corrode each other without this piece.  We did not notice this until the water heater started leaking where is began to corrode.  I have called and left multiple messages and still have not heard back.  We bought this Rheem water heater less than a year ago and it is already in bad shape.

I called two times and left a message with the commercial sales person.  I never received a call back.  The third time I called I reached another person who said they couldn't help me, were completely unapologetic or sympathetic to my lack of reply, but ultimately assured me the right sales person would call the next day.  I still got NO reply!  

Just for the fun of it, I called again, still no call back 5 days later?!

If this is how they run their business --- avoid!

I have used Gary for multiple water heater replacements and clogged drains. They are always timely,  professional and do great work!

ONe of the bathroom fixtures that Brothers installed has to be tightened periodically.  That is hardly typical.  This is a new place and because of the way the previous owner left it, needed plumbing work.  Tracking dirt in the house the first time was bad enough.  But Brothers managed to leave black gunk splattered in the bathroom.  A professional cleans up.  This guy didn't.  
Drain Brothers was here a second time to fix something they missed the first time.  Brother & helper did not fix it.  I bought the tools and found the drain crammed with the previous owner's negligence.  I have never hired a plumber to install faucets who did NOT check the trap.  The kitchen faucet that he fixed and charged $80 for, now wobbles when touched.  
This time they left a big puddle of dirty water on the floor in my bathroom and tracked dirt on my living room carpet.  I even asked Brandon & his helper to remove their shoes.  Every plumber who has ever worked on my place has either taken shoes off or put protective covers on them,  A pro leaves with the work done with none of his mess behind.
I will never recommend this company to anyone.  If you pay professional wages then get a professional.  This company is just not worth it.

Needed help with a squealing leaky faucet. They told me I would need to replace everything and that it was a huge job and would cost over $500 (above what was covered on my warrantee). I trusted their judgment and scheduled the repair.  They came back out and made a bunch of holes in our bedroom wall only to find out that couldn't access the pipes from that room. They said we would have to remove the shower encasement before they would come back out. So we were left with a bunch of holes and a big job ahead of us. I ended up doing some research and replaced the faucet. PROBLEM SOLVED! 30 minutes and $50 was all it took! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I had a situation at my property otherwise I would not be calling this establishment. I loved the reviews I saw of this company and this was one of the companies that I didn't hear of asking clients to give a review for payment. I called and no one responded. several days later I gave an ultimatum and I got a call from adam hours later. he sounded as if he didn't really want to do the job, as a matter of fact he referred me green leaf. I was disappointed to say the least. this was in mid December but again I wanted the job done ASAP and it finally took me weeks for a company who didn't mind the neighborhood to go out there.
