Best Plumbing Services in New Orleans, LA
Mr Bynum is the BEST. My family has known him for many years and there is no one better in the business. I certainly hope he doesn't plan to retire anytime soon!

Yesterday, Kirk came out to fix what I thought would be a massive and expensive problem. I'd reached out to 8 other plumbing companies who all told me that they would be able to get to me 5 days later at earliest and to be patient in order to save money or call one of the Rooter services who may come faster but will be incredibly expensive since they are a 'chain'. Meanwhile, sewage was coming up through every drain imaginable, and during a pandemic where you're stuck in the house, you can only guess my anxiety. I took my chances and called, and from the start, everyone was incredibly professional, from the scheduler to Kirk (who was amazingly kind) when he came to assess the damage. He worked fast and spoke empathetically in addition to giving me some really useful recommendations to prevent this in the future. I dreaded the bill, but I knew it was coming. Turns out, my total charge was wayyyyy less than what some of the other guys quoted. I'm really grateful for Mr. Rooter's services, and will be a repeat costumer.

Waited over 8 hours for a clogged drain, with calls to get ETA never returned. Finally when I called to cancel, they said the technician would be out in 30 minutes. Did not believe them. Going with another service.

Plumber wouldn't even come inside because we asked him to wear a mask. We have small children who are unvaccinated and this plumber said I don't do masks. He was a complete jerk about it too. Don't waste your time with this company because they don't give damn about the customer!

I had been a customer of yours 3 times before this latest episode. I called you about a leak in my house on Wednesday, December 12, where the technician misdiagnosed the problem, saying my drain was stopped up with hair, even though I said to him, I believe there is a leak. My carpet was already soaking wet in the adjoining room. He used a snake to pull out hair from the tub drain,, charged the $330 after telling me it would be $315.00 and left. I called again on Friday, when now water was leaking in another room and from the wall of the bathroom. Sabrina (who answered the phone) said the tech told her I'd probably be calling back sent a different technician, who after again being shown where the water was coming from under the wall, went outside to see water was on the side of the house, said that they would call me the next day because the leak was likely under the slab, and they would have to dig for it. No call os Saturday AT ALL! With water continuing to leak into my house, I called Stuart Plumbing on Sunday morning. Not only did they immediately correctly diagnose the problem behind the very wall I told both of your technicians, they fixed it immediately. I'd already decided this was the final time, I'd be using your service, but then you had the nerve to casually call me at 9:13 on Monday morning to ask if I still needed your service?! 2 techs walk in and out on soggy carpet since December 12, and you ask if I still need service 5 days later?! And when I tell the story to the caller, I get an Oh well attitude, lots of excuses, and never an apology or even offered some of my money back. Trust e, I will make it my mission to spread this horrific experience to every one I know, social media, and every listening ear. What nerve!

Called Accardo & Lambert to inspect the plumbing of a house we were purchasing. We were conscientious of potential problems because the house is 100 years old, so we brought a roofer, an electrician, a general contractor and a plumber (Accardo & Lambert) on site. None of the others charged us to inspect the house, as they considered it to be a bid on the work and then provided us with descriptive reports of the home's issues. At the end of the plumbing inspection, Accardo & Lambert charged us $200. We were surprised, but wrote the check (at 2 pm on a Friday). By 5 p.m. that day, the check had been cashed, but we had not yet been provided the report.
We'd been explicit that we needed it by Monday, because we had to put the final offer on the house by Tuesday. We did not receive it by Monday afternoon, so I called. And then called again.
On Tuesday morning, I was told the plumber had dropped it off.. but the report was nowhere to be seen. Despite telling them repeatedly, and having them write the correct address down, they had dropped off the report to the house we were trying to purchase!! They had done the report entirely by hand, despite being asked to send it electronically, so they didn't have any records of what they'd written. So then the owner had to write another report from the plumber's memory of the issues. Argh. Add in the fact that I had to call them repeatedly to actually obtain this report AND the fact that the owner began yelling at me when I told him we were concerned that he had immediately cashed the check but it had been difficult to obtain the work we had paid them for. Argh again.
When the owner delivered the report to me by hand, he was apologetic for his behavior and brought me a stack of pens as a peace offering. His final demeanor is the reason I am not giving the place one star. I can't speak to the actual quality of their work, because we are not going to use them.
