Best Plumbing Services in Kentucky

This company performed a repair for me about 3-4 weeks ago and I found them to do satisfactory work. However, I am disappointed that they mark up their supplies SO MUCH. For instance, I needed a ten foot 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe which a retail customer could purchase for $7.00 at Lowe's, but likely this plumbing company can buy it for less. This company marked this item up OVER 600 PERCENT of what I could purchase it for, to FIFTY DOLLARS! I would expect a modest markup, maybe 25%, when I am also paying for a service call ($50) AND labor ($90 per hour for one person or understandably more for two persons). Maybe this high percentage markup is common in the plumbing industry but I am not happy about it and I will need to try a different plumbing company next time. I felt this company was NOT A-OK and deserved 2.5 stars instead of 3. But I felt that a 2 rating would be unfair to them. Hopefully this review will convince them to reduce their markup percentages and help make them a better company. Thank you.

Our water softener unit malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. We called and scheduled an appointment the very next day to have a new one installed. Was prompt, extremely courteous and did a great job with the new install. would highly recommend for anyone looking for a plumber!

Good, professional service.  They arrived exactly when they said they would, and were neat and efficient at resolving my issue.

I got away for just under $200, which seemed reasonable for about 2 hours of work for Jim and his partner, and identified and repaired a fairly serious leak from my condo to the unit below me.

I would call them again if I had a plumbing problem.  Alas, feminist Sarah had to withhold the 5th star for the suggestion that I get my Dad or boyfriend to help me repair a caulk seam.

United Plumbing is the company I call when I need plumbing services.  Every couple of years my tree roots clog my drains.  They are quick to schedule and arrive on time or sooner to fix my issue.  Techs are very pleasant and efficient.  I've had several plumbing companies through Home Serve and other appliance coverage companies, which is how I became a customer of United Plumbing.  I'm always happy when United Plumbing is dispatched and if the issue isn't covered, then I would call them myself.  Thank you so much!

We had a water heater installed on 8-13-2020 to the cost of $1678.10.

Yesterday 8-27-2020 our downstairs neighbor had a leak coming from our condo at the location the water heater was installed. It did damage to her walls and carpet. The same technician that did the installation came out to check the problem on our end. He stated the tray the water heater sits in was cracked and the pvc pipe from our HVAC was causing water to pool in the tray and go down the crack to the downstairs unit.

My problem is there was never a crack or leak before the water heater was installed and never any water coming from the HVAC to the tray, if there was a crack prior why did he not point it out and recommend a new tray at that time? I believe the tray was damaged during the removal of the old water heater or during the installation of the new one. He did come out yesterday and put silicone around the area and recommended a new tray at an additional cost. This solution is unacceptable and now we are out addition money to repair the damages to the unit downstairs.

I received a call from the company this morning and of course they passed the buck and gave every excuse under the sun how they were not responsible, I do not recommend this company and have filed a complaint with the BBB

New AO Smith water heater 12/04/2019 crushed on install. and turned up since new and NO longer hot.
year old +13 days!

2 stars because I did get a full refund.

$700 for an improperly installed dishwasher. Over 2 weeks of calling their office for resolution, ended up finding a direct phone number in a Google review and finally closed the loop.
