We had a bit of an emergency plumbing situation after 5 PM during the week but Ryan was quick to respond via Yelp. I called him on the phone after he finished his day, but he agreed to drive 45 minutes to come out and take a look at our problem anyway.
He got here and immediately looked into the issue including video scoping the lines to help us determine the problem and provide a solution. He earned my trust and I absolutely recommend him and will surely call him the next time I need help!
Thank you Ryan!!

Had a major catastrophe during a busy weekend, and he was able to come see us within 20 minutes and fix the leak! Really appreciate it, because it's the winter season and we couldn't get anyone else to come out. A true lifesaver, thank you again

Joey is awesome! I highly recommend The Plumbing Detective. He was prompt to responding to my messages, very reasonably priced, efficient with his work and he even was able to help me the next day. Everything I needed done on my list from inspection was done in 2 hours. He was on time and didn't give me a window of arrival, instead he told me the time and was there at it. Like I said, I highly recommend.

Our sand oil separator in our business was clogged. There were here an hour and half after the call and had it done within an hour for a reasonable price. Great service.

I know why CJ's Plumbing came through for me so well when the water heater failed in my Airbnb in Colorado Springs and my guests were complaining about not having any hot water.
But first I'll tell you what they did.
Starting in the morning on a cold December 23, I called numerous other plumbers. None were interested in helping me out.
At about 4pm when it was already getting dark, I called CJ's Plumbing. Carrie, CJ's business manager, answered the phone and said, Yes, we can handle that. Let me contact my crew.
A half hour later one of CJ's master plumbers John Price was at the door saying, What can I do to help you? An hour later Carrie and her husband master plumber Joel Valdez arrived at my door with a brand new water heater. Three hours after that, when it was fully dark and the wind was blowing snow across my front yard, they'd finished installing the new water heater. My Airbnb guests were thrilled to be able to take showers and cook.
But the next day my new water heater was leaking out its pressure relief valve. So, I called Carrie. She said, I'm so sorry. I'll have someone there as soon as possible.
Despite having other customers to take care of, John Price showed up at my door to fix the problem. Soon Joel and his son Tyler arrived and, even though they had to work far into the night to figure out the problem, diagnosed a failed pressure reduction valve and went to the hardware store to buy a new one.
To replace the PRV they had to turn off the water to the entire house. Two of my three 60 year old shut off valves failed after Joel tried to turn them. Then Joel spent 30 minutes squirming his head and the whole upper half of his body into the small opening in the meter pit to reach the third valve.
And guess what? It was broken too!
Joel then called the Colorado Springs Utilities emergency crew who shut off the water to my house from the main. Even after getting the water turned off fixing the PRV was a complicated task due to my prehistoric plumbing setup.
But, as I watched Joel and his crew work, I suddenly realized why they're such a successful plumbing company.
Beyond being knowledgable and skilled, they're also willing to do whatever it takes to solve their clients' plumbing problems -- even when it's cold and dark and the problems are hard to solve.
Thanks, CJ's! You're a great company.

Very responsive. Excellent communication. I appreciated the thoroughness of their investigation to determine the issue and explained in detail their findings and how they came to them. Would definitely use them again.

Do not bother with them. I don't know why American Shield home insurance use such subpar contractors.
I saw from a previous review this year, 2023, that they did a poor job. Should've requested the home insurance look for a different contractor. These guys do not know how to run a business apparentl. First...they don't come up to see what your issue is...they request pictures! Then they had the audacity to report to the home insurance that they came out and then they went above the insurance's head to order unecessary parts. I called the home insurance and informed them that they did not come out and they were ordering parts! The insurance has to call them and lo and behold they were able to order just a water heater.
You cannot get a hold of them. Their voice mailbox is full. The insurance can't get a hold of them.
They also forget to fully install your water heater. they forgot to put on a panel on the front of the heater! I found it just laying there in the basement.

I just wanted to say that it all seemed like a huge scam. I canceled immediately. They wanted $200. Down at 9:00 at night. With no written estimate. I saw several red flags. I was told different things, like the address I stopped at; was a home they said was rented out and vacated. Then it showed to be the same address as the business address. It did not all calculate to what they were telling me. I will not give them my business.

Awful. I rate one star because that's he minimum, but in fact I'd give Luke a 0. I paid him $400 to replace a leaking bathtub faucet. After replacing it, water was spewing all over the Hot water heater closet that night. He came back and fixed that, but the water continued to leak. Came back again and fixed that, but the new faucet never worked properly. Only 50% of the water goes to the shower, the other 50% blows through the facet. He never came back to fix this or secure the faucet to the wall and caulk it like he said he would. No responses to my attempts to get him to finish. I will have the $400.00 I paid for this disaster charged back to him as I have to have another plumber come fix this mess.
