Talmich Plumbing & Heating

If I could give Talmich ten stars, I would. I've been using them for years for water heaters etc but today had a no- kidding emergency. Eric not only extended his work day but got here within 20 minutes of my calling. He had to stand in 4-5 inches of standing water in the crawl space and never complained a bit. Cheerful, knowledgeable and patient. Seriously, THE BEST!!

Do not do business with this company.

I called Talmich plumbing & heating in the first of September to work on my in-floor heating system. I explain that one loop had an airlock as the result of a leak in the system. The leak had been repaired by another company and they replaced a bad circulation pump. However, they were unable to get the loop to work. When I called Talmich I ask if they had experience working on this type of system. I was assured that they were well experienced in this type of system. So we set an appointment to repair the problem. Erik the service tech showed up on time and spent 1.5 hours looking at the system saying he needed to understand how it was designed and labeled some pipes. The system had been working for the last 22 years. He said That Talmich would have to install three new fittings to the system and Tom would contact next week with the cost. He then charged me
$225.00 for the service call and the floors were not working. That was the in the first part of September. After two months three voice messages and two phone calls in which I was told they would get back to me. I still have not heard a word from them as to get the problem fixed. It has been two months since the first service call. We are now looking at colder weather and part of my heating system is still not working.

On time ,courteous , honest & reliable.Highly recommend... Definitely use this company again

We had several items that needed to be addressed at our home due to a home inspection.  Bryan came out, showed up on time, was completely professional and did our needed repairs.  I cannot say enough good things about how happy my husband and I are with the service we received.  I know that we will definitely use this company again if we ever have the need.  I also recommended that our realtor put them on their preferred list, that's how impressed we were with Bryan!

It finally decided to get hot so I turned on my air conditioner. It decided not to cooperate, so I needed to get someone to come out and take look at it. My neighbor had just used Talmich and said they were awesome so I gave them a call. They showed up this morning 5 minutes early, and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem and was able to repair it. He did not charge for anything we didn't need. He did not try to upsell. In fact he was apologetic for getting it done so quickly and asked if he would mind if he took a bit of time and cleaned my furnace. WHAT? Who does that? Amazing!

This company reached out to us after doing a review of all the water heaters in a managed townhome community where some gas leaks were found in some of the water heaters.  They did this work on a complimentary basis.  Following the inspection, they reached out to the homeowners with very old water heaters that likely needed replacing, of which ours was one.  We had already had problems with ours and it was time to replace.  I called and was quoted a very competitive price.  Scheduling was prompt, they came out early to make sure the equipment quoted was correct for the space and the venting was also correct.   When they came, they noted another problem with an electrical part not related to the water heater, but arranged to fix that at no charge for anything except parts.
They arrived promptly for their scheduled date, installed everything to satisfaction, and cleaned up to the extent you could not tell they were there.  Also fixed the electrical problem.  Kept me informed along the way, and price was as quoted.
I think they did a great job and get 100 extra brownie points for being proactive .

Wow! I had one of the best experiences with Talmich. Just got new floors and replaced the toilet in the master bath. Called several plumbers and they were booked, some two weeks out. Talmich was able to come by within 24 hours. Raul was the tech that showed up and he is such a nice man. He's also strong as an ox lugging both the new and old toilets like it was a lad of laundry. He assembled, installed and tested his work replacing the existing water line and cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend these guys and will definitely do business with them again.

I've used Talmich Pumbimg & Heating twice for the last 6 months and I'm happy with the service I received from Raul. Raul was punctual, explained all the repair work in a professional and courteous manner, and Talmich prices are very reasonable. I'll use Talmich again for my HVAC and plumbing needs.

This company did a superb job replacing a water heater and a boiler system in my basement last year. They were friendly, professional, and highly competent. Price was reasonable. I'll be calling them for more work in the future.

Spoke the Tom on the phone and set the appointment  and Erik came out snaked the kitchen drain and replaced the sillcock ! This is the only Plumbing Company we use, Grest Service each and every time !

Great company!  They are always on time & do a wonderful job.  Recently they did a same day replacement for our water heater that had started to leak & flood our basement.  They put down drop cloths to protect the carpet when they took the broken water heater out to protect the carpet -  job was done quickly & Eric took the time to answer all my questions.  I would definitely recommend this company.

Any plumber can fix a leak, so I look for other qualities when choosing a plumber or any home maintenance company.  I look for things like responsiveness, honesty and customer service.   On these scores, I'm sorry to say that in a recent interaction I had with Talmich Plumbing, they've fallen short.  Here's the net of it...
I had a leaking Moen faucet and called Talmich to do the repair.  They told me the part was under warranty but I'd have to pay them (Talmich) for it, then submit the receipt to Moen for reimbursement.  That's what I did.
Unfortunately, I was told wrong.  Moen doesn't reimburse, they only replace parts so they sent me a new one.  Now I paid for a part that should have been free, and I have a new part that I don't need.  Should be a simple fix, right?  The obvious answer is that Talmich should buy the spare part back from me and we're done.  Easy Peasy!  But after initially saying he'd do exactly that, Mr. Talmich has apparently decided otherwise.  More than a month has passed and I've had no response to follow-up phone calls, emails, texts and contacts through their website.  I'm prepared to eat my loss, but I first offer this honest account as an example of the kind of behaviors exhibited by companies I prefer not to associate with.

GREAT COMPANY!!!!!!!   Tom Talmich and his son Eric are great.  They are fair priced and their work is excellent. They helped us get a job done in a timeframe that I didn't think was possible.

I needed a water heated replaced and relocated. Tom was great in finding a solution that worked best for me and he and his team were incredibly patient in waiting for the utility company to find the water shut off for the house. Water heater works great and the relocation is perfect for our future plans in this room. Thanks!
