Water heater was leaking, not too badly but enough that I thought I needed to get it done right away, so I called several plumbers.  Herrell was the only one willing to give a quote over the phone so I had a different company come out for a free estimate, much much higher.  I called Mike at Herrell back and he let me know that if I turned the water off at the tank and opened the line up to release pressure, it would stop leaking and be fine over night for the next day's appt.  Tim just left and did a fantastic job installing the new heater.  We would definitely use them again.

Mr. Tim Craig came to the house and provided outstanding service. This was his second visit to the residence to provide services/installations and is a real professional, which so often seems impossible to find nowadays. Herrell Plumbing is the BEST OPTION for plumbing services ... period (or you can save a nickel and get crappy work from a lesser provider). Big thanks to Tim and everyone at Herrell Plumbing. I had to have my house re-piped for insurance purposes. These guys are THE BEST. From getting me a reasonable quote right away to walking me through the whole process, they were spot on.  They had a team of professionals who were courteous, respectful, prompt and extremely knowledgeable. It was done perfectly in less than 2 days with minimal impact to me. They cleaned up everything and explained each step.
I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs that you have.

A big thanks to Herrell Plumbing, specifically Tech Tim and Tom (drain cleaner expert).  Same day service (I didn't ask for or expect) to have my disposal replaced and vent snaked.  Tom also took extra time to modify the plumbing under the sink to raise the traps to get better gravity flow.  They do business the right way.  Quoted price over phone, no surprises.  Other company I called wanted $39 to check it out and would not give me a price.  When they showed up the price was outrageous.  Herrell did great work at a fair price.  I will call them first when I need repairs or new install.

The receptionist was extremely friendly.  I had a plumber to my house within an hour.  They were quick, polite and efficient.  Pricing was great as well.

No complaints whatsoever.

They came out pretty quickly to unclog a main drain line. The guy that showed up was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. It took a while to find the clog, I figured it would since I'd tried to find it myself first. He got it cleaned out and let me know it may repeat if there are roots or a line break. The cost was $250 which was the bottom of the range ($250-$350) I was quoted when I called in. Overall, I was very happy with the service and would recommend them.

Call them first.  Excellent, professional, deeply knowledgeable about plumbing problems and solutions, and very fairly priced, you can't go wrong.  Our 97 year old house in downtown Orlando had a drain issue that another company wouldn't even attempt to fix, short of a very expensive renovation.  Herrell assessed the problem, offered a solution based upon their knowledge of old houses and it fixed our problem.  They were friendly, concerned about us and our home (a rarity now a days), and proud of their work.  And that's something unbelievable in today's just in it for buck companies.  If you don't call them first, call them last.  You'll be very happy you did!

Have had two after hours  plumbing incidents in a house we bought within a short period of time. Both times Herrell Plumbing called us back within 15 minutes . One emergency ( broken bath pipe at 9pm) we were able to solve ourselves. The other ( a back up) was taken care of quickly and for the amount  estimated on the phone. Here's what you'll like: they answer their phone, they come when they say they are going to come, they call when they are on their way, they are professional, they do a good job. The regular hours staff even checked back in with us the morning following our burst bathroom pipe to make sure all was well. Seriously, I'm a fan.

I just had a great experience with this plumbing company!  My kitchen sink started to have a terrible leak. I have a unique industrial brand faucet in an old house, which can always be a bit tricky. A different plumber said they could come look, but they didn't carry the brand of parts for my sink, so they could come and look at it and then would have to come back after ordering the parts.  I thought to myself, I don't want to pay the initial $125 for someone to just look and say yea, your faucet is leaking, and then pay it again when they returned the second time. So I called around and came across Herrell.  They carried the brand parts I needed.  The customer service rep that answered the phone was very nice and set my appointment for the first available date.  And even after I set my appointment for Monday morning, the plumber actually arrived today because he ended up being available and in the area.  It was such a pleasant surprise because I was concerned about how much water would be wasted and how my water bill would be impacted by the constant drip over the weekend.  Bobby, the plumber who arrived to my home, was very nice and professional.  He fixed my sink and explained the issue thoroughly.  Also very reasonably priced.  Overall, a great experience and I will keep Herrell in mind for future plumbing needs.

I needed natural gas work done and Herrell was recommended. I called and told the girl answering the phone what I needed and said she would have to speak with her service manager in order to schedule an appointment. She said she would call back. She didn't. I learned from a neighbor that 2 days later a plumber showed up at my house without an appointment wanting to do the work. Of course he couldn't because I wasn't there. I called back spoke to another girl (perhaps the same one, who knows) told her about the guy showing up unannounced, and once again said she would have to speak to her service manager and call me back. Again, she never did. The next day I called Westbrook, and they came and did the work when they promised, in a very professional manner. I would never use or recommend Herrell again and would highly recommend Westbrook.

The service was find and the work was done ok. My big issue is the first hour minimum charge $125.00 but really for additional 20 minutes I was changed $75.00 thats a rip off. My other question to this company the two values that were replaced I purchased two @ $75.00 each or a nice mark up. As these two Moen values can be purchased at Lowe's for $39.00 dollars each. If you think about the cost which would be $78.00 and Herrell charged $150 for the two almost a 100% markup. I know you need to make a profit but I really feel I got ripped on this service. Just my two cents on your company. I would look for another plumbing company that's a bit more fair on treating senior with the service and cost. I'm sure they could careless if they see my posting.

Prompt, professional, and very knowledgable. Had a very informative appointment with a true gent! Once the problem was pinpointed service was done in a timely fashion. Thanks for the great service. Will be using you again.

The operator was extemely nice, the plumber came out within 2 hours of calling. Unclogged my pipes, but i swear he said he wasn't going to charge me to use the camera to check the blockage, but then of course it was on the bill and when i asked he circled around the question.  He also found a broken pvc pipe that would cost an additional $450 to fix, little(lot) steep. the guy was nice enough to explain how i can fix it myself, so that was cool and i'll save about $400 doing it myself. Sucks i'm out $325 and still have to do things on my own though.....

I'd probably still recommend them, maybe i just heard him wrong about the camera deal. (doubt it though)

We had a shower leaking in the wall.  Plumber from Herrell came out and replaced some PVC pipes and capped them until we could get a new faucet.  Told us it would be $895 to fix it, not including replacing the wall board and tile.  This seemed outrageous to us.  Got another plumber to come in, looked at it and determined that the wrong pipes were put in by the Herrell Plumber, he used irrigation pipes.  When the water was turned back on, it kept leaking.  This other plumber fixed our problem and charged less than half of what Herrell was charging, and replaced the wall board and tile.  NEVER WILL CALL HERRELL AGAIN!!!

Just had 2 young men come and fix my sink. They were a little early, which was very nice. They explained what needed to be done and gave me 2 options. They fixed the sink but explained I still might have a clog. They were very polite and professional. I would recommend this company with no problem.

This is a mixed review. I've used Herrell Plumbing twice within a two month period for separate issues at the same address. To spare you the details I'll sum it up by saying that the techs they send out are great, they do their job quick, and diagnose issues rather quickly. The cost of this service is always something people are going to hate, but saving me a day of wasting time and playing with dirty sewage/pipe snakes is worth the $200 to resolve a clogged main drain. You can never expect a plumber to fix a hole which they will more than likely make to find a leak ( expect to call a handyman or repair the drywall yourself ).

But the weak leg I've found to be with dealing with Herrell Plumbing is the ladies in the offices. Anything aside from scheduling a technician is beyond their capabilities. During my first call ( after finding them here on yelp ) and not wanting to deal with Emerald Plumbing from seeing them work on several projects, I called them up and scheduled a visit due to a clogged drainage system. Specifying that I would give a Credit Card number to confirm the appointment but that I would be in the same day to drop off payment in the form of a check to have it drafted directly from my bank account for these types of issues. The technician showed up and handled the clog within 30 minutes of arriving and was cool enough to call me giving me a heads up about what had gone on.

I showed up to their offices as promised and dropped off a check to a woman working the office who didn't seem to know what property I was talking about. 3 weeks later and after noticing multiple attempts to collect the fee from my credit card I called up their offices but was told I needed to make payment. At this point I'm worried because ( who did I give my check to ? ). Turns out when I show up to their offices and speak to whoever I was able to find in one of the cubicles she's told that oh here it is in the file, we JUST received it.

Happy with their service at the house and having now a leakage issue with some plumbing I called them back up, after dealing with the technician they sent this time I was happy the issue was being diagnosed effectively. Unfortunately during a few call backs from myself requesting more info regarding a repair estimate, current charges, and more information regarding the issue I was told to hold and wait for a call I'll call you back shortly. Well a day and a half later no call, so I called up the tech directly and dealt with him like I should have from the beginning.

My advice, if you have specific payment requirements make sure to be clear and specific about your intent with the office staff. If you need to request more information aside from your appointment time/date, deal with the technicians directly, the office has no clue and will more than likely not contact you back. Maybe my $200-800 jobs are small potatoes for these people, so I won't be bothering them anymore with business from me. I'll risk it and call up the next company.

I was able reach Herrell and leave a message on their emergency line about 10:00 p.m.  Someone actually called me back within 30 minutes!  After explaining the problem (water heater quit and caused a flood from 2nd floor) and letting them know our water had been turned off, they said they would have their front office call the next day.  They advised it could wait until morning if we could live without the water. They called promptly the next morning and were able to get a licensed plumber to the house that afternoon.  He efficiently replaced the water heater and we were done!  Less than 24 hours from the initial flood.  Maybe there would have been a savings if it had been a proactive replacement and there was time to shop around, but having the response and excellent service they provided? Priceless.

I will start by saying I do not have a lot of experience with plumbers. This is our first house and we've only owned it for 3 years. On a Thursday we experienced a problem with water leaking at a steady and consistent rate in our walk-in master shower. I called several companies ASAP and only 2 (Herrell being one) seemed to understand the urgency of the situation. After an issue getting the water to the house shut off, we finally did the leaking stopped until the plumber was able to get there. He arrived the same afternoon, assessed the situation and gave us a couple options. We essentially needed a new valve cartridge as our old one went bad. They don't make the kind we have anymore so a new one is needed. He was able to cap off the water just to the shower and turn the rest of our house water on until he was able to get back on Monday to install the new one. Luckily we have a guest bath with a shower. Our tech Tim, although not overly personable was knowledgeable and able to adjust certain things on the new install I requested. I thought their scheduler was personable which was refreshing after some of the companies I contacted. The rates I can't speak too much on considering our lack of experience but they seemed mostly in line according to other people we spoke with. I referred them to neighbors on NextDoor who also had emergent needs and they were also happy with the service they received.

Less than two hours after emailing the company for an appointment, a technician was at my home replacing the hot water heater. The technician was professional and competent. He offered to do a patch that would have cost less, but my heater was 14 years old, and I figured that it probably didn't have much life left in it anyway. And yes, I could have bought the heater from HD (or elsewhere) and installed it myself, but I never would have done as good a job with the installation as this fella. Top notch.

I love them!! The first time I used Herrell was when I chased the van down in my neighborhood because another company left me without water for 3 days, and I told TNT situation and he helped me out of the kindness of his heart!! T
his time, my water heater exploded (literally). I was going to try on my own, (and thought better), decided to get quotes, and they were the best! From the amazing reception of their phone personnel to their techs; Lowest quote AND same day! Will showed up within 40 minutes of my call, prompt, polite and professional. While here, he also fixed and replaced my disposal that has been nonexistent for 7 months. And all for under the cost of the water heater estimate from other companies that couldn't bother to sho the same day.

I had an urgent issue, called a realtor friend who referred Herrell. A technician, Joshua arrived as scheduled on time! He introduced himself and wearing a shirt with a company logo. He confirmed what the problem was. He immediately started the task. I observed him working smart and efficiently. Only. One trip outside for all of the tools and parts needed. When he was finished he carefully cleaned the area. I could not be more pleased.

Quick response to my inquiry for a quote. Professional and knowledgeable staff. Worked me in for an appointment on the same day! On time, polite and professional.

I had a very bad clogged kitchen drain. I asked for estimates and they not only gave me one, but told me to look under sink in case that was the problem that I could fix myself. The plumber was on time time morning and even used a coupon to save me some. I will definitely use them again if I need to.

Big shout out to Will at Herrell plumbing- had a little water emergency, and he was here within like 20 minutes! Very efficient, fixed the problem quickly and we are back in business! Thank you Will!!

On a Saturday I had my pipe behind the wall next to my water heater start leaking.  It was very obvious where it was leaking from as the dry wall was discolored from being moist.  I called Harrell Plumbing and told them this information.  The man on the phone said it would be $250 to fix the pipe.  I was very happy he came out within an hour of my call.  He had the leak fix pretty quick and I was happy with the service.  But then he gave me the bill and said I had to pay him cash or check and now it was $325. I asked why he said because he had to reach a bit behind the heater to get to the leak.  Then when I asked him if he was going to leave the bug hole in the wall he said yes.  Then said I would have to call on Monday to get someone else to come and fix it for extra money.  Obviously at this point I felt scammed because this happened to happen on a Saturday.  This review would h e been 5 stars but now.....

They did what I wanted them to do but they billed me $425.00 for 45 minutes of work and I supplied the washer kit that they installed.  Steer clear of this outfit.

we called in a sunday , hoping to get an appointment by monday because we were going to have visitors for the week. the plumber was here in 1.5 hours and took care of the issue quickly. we had had a different plumber come a year ago to fix the same issue, he charged us 3 times more and the issue was not completely resolved. Her tell did a great job!

Had water coming from unknown source in the wall. Called Herrell plumbing and they sent a technician out promptly. Sebastian arrived and was able to determine it wasn't a plumbing problem and offered suggestions of what to do next. Even though no service was needed, the promptness and the professionalism was greatly appreciated. Hopefully we don't need their services anytime soon but if we do we will call Herrell plumbing again

This company is honest, on time and provided the service we needed quickly and professional.
I had called to schedule an appointment for a clogged pipe from our bathroom.  I called on Wednesday and they arrived ON TIME on Thursday!  He was here for about 1 hour and he used a camera to find the clog, flushed the clog and then removed the hardened build up you find in pipes over time.  He was very patient with me as I watched him and asked questions so I could learn more about the health of our pipes.  
I will use them again and refer my neighbors to this company as they were honest, on time and did a great job!  
A previous plumbing service tried to sell us on a service of $2,500 that we found out we do not need once Herrell was able to fix the issue.

What a difference a plumber makes! After Emerald Plumbing made me wait 4 days then stood me up, I called Herrell. Their guy arrived at my house only an hour after I called. Let's see: 4 days for nothing vs 1 hour with results.

Love these guys, did a lot of gas line work at my house. John C is excellent, easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Schedule an appointment over an hour late and  I call customer service to inquire on the delay. And response was just sit and wait.

What an honest and legitimate company! We had an emergency pipe repair on the main pipe coming into the house. They came same day and fixed it quickly. I asked him to look at our toilets (since we were experiencing high water bills )if he had time and he noticed that all the seals were bad, replaced them and fixed some other work that was poorly done by the previous plumbers.  I highly recommend Herrell and will be a customer for life. Appreciate the honesty of our Plumber.

I am very satisfied with Herrell Plumbing! The plumber who came to my house was very professional and personable. He quickly identified this issue, repaired it, and did not leave a mess. It was less than two hours from the time I called Herrell Plumbing to the time they arrived at my house for the job. Highly recommended!

Day after Thanksgiving and my washing machine won't drain... puddles everywhere. I called Herrell Plumbing this morning and they weren't charging holiday or weekend rates, yay, and they could come out today, double yay. They guy on the phone was friendly and courteous.
The plumber was here in less than 2 hours and fixed it. My plumber explained why it was clogged and how it is connected to the kitchen sink... no more pouring grease down there; it really isn't a bottomless pit, LOL. He even told me about some good shopping deals today! What else could you ask for?
Overall friendly, good service and quick. I will use them again if I ever have a need.

Bobby arrived at my home promptly at 7:59 AM today. After inspecting my leak, he explained to me what he would need to do to fix it and the price. Half of the back flow pipe was rusted at the location of the leak. Bobby was very professional and courteous, not at all like the technicians at Tropical Plumbing who completed the installation. I will definitely call Herrell Plumbing in the future if I need a plumber.

I completed the online form and received a call from the HP office within a couple of hours. They were able to get a plumber/technician on-site the same day to replace the inlet/outlet water valves above my water heater.

Smart guys, they know what they are doing, do a good job and even clean up after themselves. Love dogs, kids and can do just about everything. We found them on Angie's list when we subscribed to it. ( don't know) and their reviews were really good so we saved the info for the when we need a plumber situation. Glad we did. Will definately save them in our contact list and use them again when we need something done.

We had a leaky shower for weeks that kept getting worse. Bobby came out on a Friday, diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes and was back Monday to fix it. Not only is the leak gone, but the handle now functions better than it ever did before. He was clean, nice and clearly communicated costs and what work he was doing. I would HIGHLY recommend this professional and efficient area plumbing company.

I waited til Monday to call (since I didn't want Sunday rates) only to learn that Herrell's is the same price anytime.   When you have a plumbing problem, it's usually an emergency, so that's good to know!  They unclogged our drain right away.  Came on time, operator couldn't have been nicer.  A little pricey, but like the other reviewer- you often get what you pay for!  Thanks, Herrell's!

Herrell just came in and fixed my leaking toilet--Tim Craig basically had to rebuild everything but he was very professional and obviously very skilled in how he diagnosed and fixed the problem. Will use them again if need be and recommend you do the same

We called at 9 am to have a toilet fixed.  The supervisor called back by 930 to advise us our service window was between 10 am and 12 pm.

Our plumber arrived and resolved our issue by 1030 am.

I know sometimes it's luck of the draw, but the fact that the receptionist was courteous, was able to give us an estimate ($150-$250) and the supervisor called us back in 30 minutes made all the difference. We never even got a call back from Westbrook.

I'll be calling Herrell for all of our future plumbing needs.

Very impressed with Herrell Plumbing.  Had water bubbling up under my tile in my bathroom on the weekend.  R. Giebenrath came out Sunday am and fixed what he could (he didn't have a part).  He scheduled another technician, T. Craig, who came out Monday am and he fixed up my problem in under an hour.  We previously had a very bad experience with another plumbing service so needless to say we had a bad taste in our mouths in regards to plumbing companies.  But after our experience with Herrell plumbing and the 2 fantastic technicians who came out, we no longer have that bad taste and we now have a plumbing company that we will definitely be using again when the need comes up!  thanks for great customer service when in today's time is very limited!!!!  I recommend this company HIGHLY!

Herrel Plumbing Services responded quickly and informed me they do not service hybrid water heaters. I feel that they were very honest and I would call on them again in the future if needed.

Excellent service all the way around. From first call to final installation of new water heater. Bobby was an excellent technician. Second time I've used Herrell and will continue to use if needed.

I had to have my sewer line replaced.  Herrell's estimate was fair ($1800), they told me they'd be here today at 8:30am, and they were.  Work was done before noon!  You don't get better than that!

And, best of all, they were really good about digging around and taking care of the plants in my yard.  Super cool.  Superb service.  Excellent plumbers!
