I am happy to write a positive review for the electrician who recently came to my house to provide a quote for me. I had the pleasure of working with Ben, an electrician from Volt Tech Electric .

Ben was prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He arrived at my home on time and immediately got to work assessing the issue.

I will definitely use them for my electrical needs in the future.

I broke one of the switches on my kitchen light, and ordered smart lights to install. I thought that I might be able to do it myself, but after I removed the plate, I realized this was a bit out of my league. I looked to yelp to find an electrician, and Volt was the first one that popped up. Ben answered and he was very responsive. He showed up in less than 20 min and he was done in less than 30. Total price for installation was $240. Seemed a little pricey, but I'm very satisfied with the work. My lights are working perfectly and I have even paired them with Alexa.

If I ever need any other electrical work done, I will absolutely reach out to Ben and his team!! Thanks for the great work!

I needed a NEMA 14-50 plug to be installed inside my garage for my EV.  The owner picked up my call and sent someone to my home the same day.  David & Fernando were courteous and explained thoroughly the work that needed to be done.  They needed to replace the some of the breakers as well as clean up some of the wires (for an extra fee).  The estimate was clearly explained and they have a 2 year warranty on their work, which is great.  They cleaned up their mess afterward and made sure that everything worked with my charger plugged into my car before leaving.  Overall, I would recommend this company.

Called and immediately had a person out for an inspection of the issue. It turned out to be a big job. Volt secured permits and completed the work in a timely manner. I would use them again.

I hired Ben in order to install my Tesla home charger. If I could give him and his company 20 stars, I would. He was extremely easy to reach, personable, very competent and professional with his work, and went above and beyond to help us out. Because of some issues with the charger itself, he had to come out a second day to complete the installation. He did so at our convenience and for no extra charge. He is definitely the man for any electrical job you need, and I will be sure to use him in future work.

Responsive company and team. Ben returned my call within the 30 mins of leaving a message. He called me to troubleshoot and were able to fix my electrical issue. Saved me tons of money and time. Highly recommend.

Our 1963 electrical panel didn't survive an Edison Outage, so we were without AC in the middle of July. I called Ben at 9pm and he was out the next morning at 7:30am with the hard-to-find main breaker. He had us up and running again within an hour. He also left the panel much cleaner than he found it.

We had some electrical issues and they were able to send a technician over that same day. Austin was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Austin was able to complete most of the job in 1 day, but needed to come back with a crew to finish up. We were so pleased with his work that we booked them for some additional electrical jobs on the spot. (Additional jobs- ceiling fan, recessed lighting in the kitchen, fixed some 3 way switches).

We highly recommend Volt for your needs. There were several technicians who came out for the job and they were all great. They covered our furniture and cleaned up. Electrical work is expensive, but their pricing was reasonable and done correctly. They were a great crew to work with.

Fast response, straight forward, great pricing. Had a 14-50 NEMA outlet installed from them. Nothing much else to be said. Would recommend 10/10.

Emergencies happen, as does needed work for those individuals that require additional assistance.  Even after working on a retirement home for the elderly, Ben managed to check my relatively small issue and diagnose it before the end of his workday.  Very much impressed.

Ben has fantastic customer service, provided exceptional work, and has great communication skills. I had an issue with my power turning on and off, and he was able to assess it and fix the issue with ease. He also responded to my quote request in a timely manner. Overall, I highly recommend Ben

I called because my smoke alarm was beeping and I'd already done everything I could think of to stop it, including changing the battery, disconnecting the unit from the hardwiring in the ceiling and nothing worked.  The on-call gentleman who spoke with me (I didn't get his name) was patient and respectful despite my not being very pleasant or patient with him.  He figured out that it was my carbon monoxide detector that needed new batteries.  Problem solved!

Great communication, paid to install grounding rods, gas bonding, and new panel with proper permits. Ben and Manny did a great job. Ran into some difficulties with the city inspectors but they came back a couple times to make the corrections to get the permits signed off. Overall a good deal. When Ben first came he identified hazards in the panel wiring that looked like melting wires and a pushmatic breaker that was malfunctioning not disengaging.
End result a permitted new panel that is a larger capacity and can accommodate solar panel systems. Price included stucco work by a different person but part of the same contract and project.

Austin was amazing! He did a detailed search to try to see why my electrical wasn't running to my heating unit. He figured it was the wire to my breaker box and he was right! The whole wire was charred . He did a repairs and a maintenance the same day and fixed small other outlet issues I had.

I can't think of a better person to call for any electrical needs! They even install Tesla chargers!

Ben came out to fix an outlet connection that a handyman had completely screwed up at my business. He was a pleasure to work and I will definitely reach out again for any electrical work needed.

My power went out so I called Volt Tech. They scheduled a service call for within the next 2 hours, apologizing because they were in the middle of an emergency job. Although I didn't end up needing the service (the power suddenly came back on), they were prompt, professional, and polite. The 3 important Ps! Will definitely keep them in my phone contacts.

Have our Tesla charger installed today . Technician Dave came on time , very professional, he thoroughly explained the whole process and also helped us set the charger adjustments . I definitely recommend this company 100 %.

I had an issue with a breaker that was shorting out in my panel that I had misdiagnosed. Ben from Volt Tech quickly identified and resolved the problem in about 30 mins. I was happy with the prompt service and fair price so I hired him to install an outlet I've been wanting installed which he also took care of. I would definitely recommend Ben at Volt Tech and will likely be hiring him again for future electrical needs.

After my previous review, the owner Ben  reached out to me and apologized.   Mistakes do happen.  Volt Tech Electric did not meet our needs this time, but their apology is accepted. Changing to 3-star rating for doing the right thing.

This is my first experience with Volt Tech Electric and I must say I am VERY impressed. I hired this company to install the Tesla Wall Connector in my home. This company went above and beyond. Aside from just installing the Tesla Wall Connector they checked my circuit breaker to see if there are any issues with my circuit break and there 3-4 critical issues. He quickly resolved all of the issues he found in my circuit breaker and he was able to successfully install the Tesla Wall Connector. If I were to rate this service this company provided I would give it a 20 out of 10. The person that was helping Ben. Ben is the owner of the company. Ben is very kind, respectful, honest, and intelligent. I highly recommend this company for all electrical issues, Tesla charger installs, and home remodeling.

Ben and his team know the project complexities of electrical work and are very effective in various degrees of electrical repairs. As most people know electrical and plumbing are generally substantial in cost by nature of repair but the results are what count and what you pay for. Very good contractor.

We had a short circuit in our outdoor gfci outlets which needed to be fixed asap. Austin and Fernando came quickly the next morning and fixed the problem in about 1.5 hours! Although the cost was on the pricey side, we are very grateful for them and their help! Austin also spent time explaining to us where all the problems and issues were. Overall we are very satisfied with their work!

Ben came by and apologized for the inconvenience that took place on the previous day for the missed appointment. He offered to do the same service, but at a discounted rate. It's understandable that there are a lot of appointments and sometimes you get lose track of time. He also wrote an apology letter and gave me a $25 gift card for not showing up to the appointment. He got the job done and the pricing was well worth it. Ben will find a way to make his customers happy, and that's usually hard to find in some contractors.

Eduardo did a great job diagnosing our light issues and fixing it. He was very professional. Both him and Ben were able to work within our budget as we just moved into a new house. We will definitely call them with any electrical needs in the future!

Ben was great! All of my outlets went out in my kitchen and Ben made time to come out immediately and was extremely thorough in his examination of the problem. He handled a big job in one day and guaranteed his work. He is definitely our guy for anything electrical!

Ben works fast. Expect to pay a lot of money for this service. Electricians are expensive

Had my electric panel updated and another breaker installed during the heat wave in September. Both Ben and the other electrician (forgot his name!) were fantastic, punctual, and as a lady who's taking on these electrical projects on her own, I was very comfortable around them. They quoted me less than another electrician for the new breaker installation. I was worried they'd bump my appointment back last minute due to what had to be a very busy schedule in the middle of hot weather, but they still arrived on time and finished everything in a timely manner.

We had a couple outlets stop working at our home and booked an appointment to have Volt Tech Electric come out to evaluate the cause.  Booking the appointment was very easy, and their service rep David Lopez was very polite as well. However, The estimate he gave me was very high So I contacted another company for a second bid. I ended up using the other company, but did receive a call from the owner, Ben, Who wanted to make sure that I had a pleasant experience. He took time to listen to my concerns and assured me that for any future projects he would personally take care of providing an accurate estimate. He explained that the technician is newer, And although a very sharp guy, may not have been 100% sure they're estimating process.

Timely, thorough, fast and efficient.  Cleaned thoroughly after.  Manny is the bomb . Com!!!!!

I paid a little more than other quotes, but so glad that I did.  First, I received my Tesla wall charger on Friday afternoon called Volt and they squeezed me in the next day.  They were running late, but hey just grateful they were able to come at all.  Super clean, and organized.  Ben knew what he was doing.  He even texted me 2 days after to check to make sure all was good!  I highly recommend using Volt.

We had a power failure in certain areas of our home. Volt Tech, after receiving a call at 6:30a, we're here within 2 hrs. Ben and Fernando did an incredible job getting us back up and running. It's now up to Edison to do their part. The amazing thing is that the Edison tech told us what a great job Volt Tech did leaving notes on the equipment so that Edison knew exactly what to do to restore full power. We highly recommend Volt Tech and feel fortunate to have found a reliable electrician. They truly are awesome!

Takes your money for a deposit, leaves for 24-48 hours. Comes back and does a lackluster job. Charges you insane amounts. They said they needed tools and such for the job... but they didn't bring anything special back with them.

$1500 to fix bathroom light switches. When I already had 1 of 2 fixed in the time I spent waiting.  

If you Try to tell them anything about your home and they ignore you because they think they know everything. Then you watch them 3-4 hours shocking themselves on the same outlets because... why?

Everything with them is in increments of $1500...  ask for a quote? $3000, $4500, or $6000. So they don't have a real hourly rate at all.

This is the second time using Volte and Ben (the electrician) is why we will continue to reccomend this company.   He is thorough,  knowledgeable and a really great guy!!

Very expensive. Read the whole review first. The technician I got was very helpful and overall effective. He was able to troubleshoot and trace the problem. I opted for just a repair without running any wires. For parts I was charged reasonably I think with maybe 30% mark up. The labor is where I'm hesitant to go with the same service again. It was 3.5 total that he was there, and I was charged 850. That's 240 per hour which is the most expensive service I've ever received. Yes I got the electrical shooting fix I needed, but the price was ludicrous. I still gave 5 star for service, but I would go elsewhere next time.

Highly recommend Volt Electric. They were able to come out same day and fix a few electrical issues at my home. David arrived and was able to trouble shoot and identify what needed to be done. He had all the necessary supplies and was able to get everything fixed within a 2 hours. Thank you Volt for the excellent service!

Update...came across the receipt and credit card statement. We were actually charged $750 and not $375 as I had thought

Ben has reached out to me regarding my initial review but making me believe he was someone else. Later in the call he tells me he was one of the technicians who came to my house. I was livid

Problem was fixed (after hours) but very very expensive at $750 for me to afford.

Ben arrived to our home within 1 hour of the call. He was very professional. He did  a thorough inspection And provided a quick diagnostic of the problem. He acted quickly and repaired the problem which could have caused a fire. Thank you to Volt Texh and Ben for their amazing Professionalism and service.

Ben did an outstanding job. He came to fix the kitchen outlets due to lack of power. He was informative on what needed to be done, before doing anything major. The price was set from the start, no sketchy additional cost. I've done my research before calling in an electrician and thought their prices was fair for quality work. Ben showed an exceptional work ethics and pride in his profession. If you are looking an electrician, Ben is your guy. I will be calling him in future for any electrical issues.

Volt Tech Electric did a great job in replacing my electrical box. Ben always answered my phone with any questions and concerns I had and his employees did a great job. The city inspector said that Volt Tech Electric did a very professional and great job in replacing my old electrical box. I would recommend using them for any projects.

Our original electrical issue was resolved to our satisfaction.

The ceiling light fixture fell in my son's room in the evening and was hanging barely by electrical wires. I sent several quotes on Yelp asking for an urgent service, and Ben was the first who responded and got us scheduled for his team to come in the following morning to assess the problem. Manny came in the morning. He was very thorough, professional, and considerate. He had his shoes cover on, and after providing us the quote after assessment, we agreed on the service since his price was competitive, and we really liked how professional he was and how pleasant he was to work with. He put covers all around where he was working, so he can make sure there was no debris left in the room when he's done. The work was completed perfectly, and he vacuumed and cleaned up the room. Definitely a company I can trust for lighting and electrical work!

Great job. Great price. Capable electricians. Austin snd Ben are great. The work looks good and we're hoping it holds up. Would use this company again.

Ben and his team are fantastic. They have done a great job on two separate projects for me so far. The first time they came out was to add a new outlet and troubleshoot some problems we were having with other existing outlets. They did a quick and clean install and took care of the issues we were having, and for a reasonable price. When it came time to undertake a larger electrical project (replacing our outdated panel) I had no hesitation about calling Volt Tech again. It was a bit of an emergency and they came out the next business day and got the panel replaced, then went above and beyond with patching up the siding and getting it exactly how I wanted. I would definitely recommend these guys for any job, big or small. Excellent customer service.

Austin was dedicated to make sure all of my electrical issues were taken care of and not just the simple fix. Besides finding a burnt out outlet, he went thru all of the other outlets and opened them up for inspection and found a loose wire that wasn't right either. They fit me in quickly in their schedule and was prompt for the appointment.

After posting our review, Ben got in touch to rectify the situation. He gave us 50% of the total cost back. While we still have a wall to patch, we appreciate that feedback is considered and time was taken to try to make things right.

Manny did an excellent job assisting with an electrical problem and installing 3 fans. He was very patient with an overbearing homeowner. And for me as the renter, ensured everything was set up as needed, working, answered my questions, and cleaned up after the job.
Excellent demeanor; high quality work; and I'll be saving their card if I need electrical service for a new home I may rent in the future!

David and Manny were awesome, friendly, and solved my outlet/circuit problem very quickly. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for electrical auditing and fixes.

I cannot say enough great things about this company!  We had all kinds of electrical breakers tripping due to overloading and David came to our rescue.  He was honest, highly knowledgeable, and was very efficient.  A true asset and representative of the company with professionalism second to none.

He explained the issues we were having and was able to fix them quickly and everything worked perfectly!  He also installed an outlet for us that was in an obscure location that allowed us to get power where we needed it.  

David was courteous and gave me updates on his previous job in case he was running late.  That just goes to show that they make sure that every customer is taken care of no matter how long it takes.  

Just be mindful of this with extra patience if your appointment is later in the day.  Unforeseen challenges come up in every household and Volt Tech will make sure the job is done right!

Called about getting a commercial outlet installed same day. It was expensive because it was after hours AND same day, but the service was awesome and the work was very professionally done. It was expensive but worth every penny.

Contacted by owner who said he was out of town and was not able to reply to all messages prior to leaving.  He was very apologetic and offered to come out and give an estimate and a discount.  

I appreciate the gesture but had already decided on another vendor.

Wanted to provide an update after using Volt Tech for all of our electrical needs for the last few years. In short, we continue to have only good things to say about Ben and his whole crew. Manny has been out twice to help us with different installs we needed this year, and in both cases has been a pleasure to work with. He does flawless work, cleans up after himself, and kept me updated through every stage. If things were more complicated than expected, he let me know and showed me what he was working with before moving on. Thank you, Volt Tech, keep up the good work and we won't have any reason to look elsewhere.

Interacted with Ben and his team since December of 2017. A myriad of daunting situations (for mortals) have presented themselves. Manny and Austin are 2/3 of the VTE team. As of today, Volt is licensed/bonded.

There was nothing easy/remedial/basic about this business relationship as electrical engineers (EE) are meticulous (having ability to build, wire, maintain) is no perfunctory task or is allowing hands on your asset(s).

Communication via phone, text and email was notable. Ben is a keen EE. From chandeliers to panel replacement Volt Tech  earned a 5 Star Rating. Total service calls/invoices = 5

Ben and Austin provided a great service. We needed an inspection on our new home purchase, and then a lot of rewiring done. They were very responsive! I had a few additional requests when they were on the property working and they gave me a great quote and got it all done in a day. Austin even came back to fix something I forgot to point out initially.

I gave Volt Tech a call this morning to see if they were available to install a  couple of outlets.  Ben spoke to me on the phone and he was very helpful.  He gave me a rough estimate and sent David to our residence to complete the work.  Everything from the initial phone contact, estimate, and installation was spot on.  David is an exceptional electrician with extensive industry experience.  After the project was completed, David took the time to provide us with ideas for additional projects that we have been considering.
I would definitely trust Volt Tech / David on our next project.  Do yourself a favor and give this company a shot at your next project.  They know how to get the job done right.

They responded to my review in a professional manner. Trying to rectify the situation however they could because both parties were unhappy with the previous conclusion.
We came to an understanding and despite the initial mishap, they were able to remedy the situation through a good willed response that we both agreed upon.

Austin came through in the clutch and was able to knock out a new car charging circuit within a couple hours.

We hit some hiccups due to the design of the house but he made sure to do it as clean and without damage as possible. In fact we were concerned that we might need to open up the stucco on the wall but he avoided it like a champ.

He kept my interest in mind vs just doing things to make it easier for him/ more costly for me.

Definitely using them again and recommending.

David Lopez showed texted me when he was en route. He showed up and was very courteous and professional. He completed the work and did an amazing job at keeping my home clean. The quote was fair and he asked if there was anything further he can help with. This is the second time I have had him respond to a call from this company and I am very pleased with his work and his professionalism.

I found Volt Tech Electric to be responsive and reliable!  They listened to my needs and asked for photos so that we would all be on the same page!

Spoke to owner Ben at 7:00 in the evening and he had an electrician, Manny, at our door by 9:45 the next morning. He looked over the work we needed and provided a reasonable quote and performed the bathroom exhaust fan replacement and GFCI outlet install, on the spot and in a very short amount of time. In addition, he did a great job of after-job clean-up. Manny also provided some information to us, regarding a future project we may do. Great doing business with Volt.

We called Volt Tech because my dad had turned off the main power switch (while trying to fix another problem) and somehow it got stuck. We had no power!

We were calling all around town but since it was Saturday, it was hard to get any response. Volt called us back and they were able to help my dad over the phone! They were great and didn't even make any money off us. We will definitely call them again when we need help. Super helpful and kind.

Fantastic service! Called Ben the owner the night before because half of our house did not have electricity and our breaker kept tripping. David and Manny came out first thing in the morning and were able to troubleshoot the issue quickly. They had their work cut out for them but they moved through each room until they found the problem and got it fixed. David and Manny were polite and courteous, I liked how they explained what was happening along the way. Extremely satisfied with the service and they will be my go to Electricians from here on out!

Update: Austin and Manny came out and looked at an outlet that was giving us trouble and making a scary noise when tested. They were able to get it fixed and eased our worries. As usual they were professional and knowledgeable. Thanks again guys!

Overall, a good experience. Ben replied right away to my request for an estimate, and David came out within a day or 2 to estimate cost. I did not know that that it was super extra busy season for electricians, so it took a little longer than I would have liked between the estimate and the work being done, but I understand being busy..especially in the heat of summer.

David was super courteous and efficient and patient in answering all my stupid questions. He showed up with a mask and made all the covid 19 considerations appropriate these days.

He did a nice job of replacing an exterior outlet and adding an interior outlet on the other side of a tile wall (which was a bit of a complex job), I appreciated the time he took to explain the work and am looking forward to running my new air conditioner!

Austin Volt Tech came out on a warm July Saturday, and went through my failed outlets in the front rooms of my older Condo.  
Finding that part of the conduit-ground of the two-wire system was faulty, He was able to trace back to the problem, and make a repair in a brief 90 min visit, restoring power and AC to my two rooms.  
Four-Star rating is for amazing knowledge and service, but not being able to do credit card payment.  
If I ever need more electrical help, Volt Tech will be my first choice

This was our first experience with Volt. The manager Ben made contact a day prior to confirm the appointment time etc which was appreciated since my schedule was erratic this week.

The technician assigned to the job, David made sure to call 15 minutes ahead to ensure I was home for the job and showed up on time and totally prepared. The job was to install an electric outlet under our kitchen sink for the new garbage disposal we had installed over the weekend.
David was polite, professional and got the job done in less than 20 minutes. He tested the outlet and we processed the payment and I got on with my day!

It was awesome and I highly recommend this business for the quality of their work and their professionalism!

Volt Tech was fantastic! Their technician, David, called ahead and gave me an ETA (important when you have small children) and arrived promptly.

David was knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful during the entire process. We had some bad breakers (older house) and he handled it all. He answered all my questions and explained the whys behind everything. Will definitely be calling these guys again and requesting David to install some outdoor flood lighting.

Can't begin to say enough good things about the team at Volt Tech. I initially called them about a weird smell behind one of the outlets in the kitchen and they quickly came out and showed us that we'd had a fire... YIKES! Luckily they went to work and fixed all of the bad wiring, breaker box, and patched the holes they had to make to run new line. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Great experience with Volt Electric today. Entry chandelier went out few weeks ago due to some wiring issues. Had TWO other electricians come out that couldn't properly diagnose the problem. Called Volt on Monday and Ben and Manny we're here Wednesday. Showed up wearing masks, something I appreciate, and acted professional and kind. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained it to me in terms I could understand and made the repair - all within 45 minutes. Also worth mentioning that the light is in an open entry way with 22' ceilings, not an easy spot to access. At the last minute I had them check out two outlets in another room that weren't working and they quickly fixed those for me too! Will definitely use Volt again.

Had a random self-caused electrical issue, and called the listed number on yelp. Apparently that goes directly to someone's cell (I think Ben?). But he answered, and even though he was busy on a job, he took my car, had me text him some images, and helped me troubleshoot it. All without asking for a dime, he was able to help me get it resolved after 3 phone calls. Amazing guy, very patient and really helped me at no cost, rather than trying to schedule a visit to charge $ for an easy fix. Thanks so much!

Contacted Volt Tech to have some GFCI outlets swapped. Ben promptly came out to my home for the service. Unfortunately, I had a timing conflict and Ben was not able to perform the service. I plan to schedule him to come back in the future, as he is very responsive and knowledgeable.

This morning we lost power in parts of our house and our garage .. discovered at 6 am and Ben was at our house around 9:00 am to work on it. He gave us a quote and that is what the charge was. He was thorough, fast and courteous!

Nothing more fun than trying to get work done around the house on the weekend only to have a strange electrical issue pop up. Circuits were all good, but several lights and outlets were out. Hopped on Yelp, did a search, and really like what I saw folks saying about Volt Tech Electric, so I gave them a ring. Called into their dispatch and had a callback and an ETA from a tech within half an hour. Half an hour past that, Manny and Carlos showed up to see what went sideways in the wiring. Less than 1 hour from initial call to tech on site on a Saturday!

Manny and Carlos were polite, friendly, and SUPER professional. Masks the whole time to keep everyone safe from the 'Rona. Couple hours crawling around the spider's nest of wiring that was up in the attic and they found the problem (short in the jank ass wiring), fixed it, and tested everything out. Got some things up to code, cleaned up the wiring mess that was up there from whoever last did any work in the house, and buttoned it all up. Even swept and vacuumed up on the way out.

Could not be happier with the service we got and Volt Tech Electric will absolutely be my first call for electrical work in the future.

Crooks. I had them come out to evaluate my circuit breaker when selling my house. They quoted me 1k. Had another electrician who said nothing needed to be done. My husband accidently called this company out when we moved, they quoted us 700 dollars, called another electrician out who did for 180. They wanted to replace a circuit telling me it didn't work. The circuit was controlled by a switch; there was no need to repair.

If I could give negative stars I would. Don't use unless you'd like to get scammed

Good service by one of the friendly and professional technicians named Austin. He talked me through the placement options of the new outlet I wanted installed. Pricing was fair.  And he cleaned up his mess. Highly recommend!

Needed a new outlet to charge my car, install a 14-50 outlet and did a great job.  On the day of the quote, as they were walking out, I realized maybe they could get me a run so I could put a motion light on the front of our garage as it's super dark at night.  I was glad I asked, they not only ran the line for me but had the motion light and installed was affordable enough for me to just have them sell me the motion light and install it.  They were great and cleaned up after they were done as you would expect.  If any other jobs around the house, I will be calling them in the future.

I reached out to Volt Tech when my outdoor dusk-to-dawn light broke. Ben came over and replaced the photo sensor, unfortunately the sensor was not working as planned, it does not come on at dusk like it is supposed to. I am very happy to say that Ben stood by his work, and sent Austin over the following week to replace the sensor with a new one from another brand. Now it is working as intended. It is good to see a company that stand by their work.

A pair of guys came to fix a dimmer switch that blew up. They diagnosed the problem and made sure nothing else was damaged.  It looked like one training the other, they both had masks on, both professional and explained things well. I asked some additional questions that they answered clearly and gave some advice about other possible hazards. It was a little expensive for a relatively simple repair but it could have been a more serious problem and I feel more comfortable with their diagnosis so it was worth it.

Responded quickly to our electrical problem with our pool. They worked quickly, were professional, and friendly. Did great work and when we had a problem a few days later they responded quickly to fix. Would use them again and recommend them highly.

Reached out to Volt via Yelp this morning and they had someone out to fix the issue this afternoon. They were really responsive and although I wasn't home when the electrician came by, my dad had nothing but good things to say about his experience with David. My dad even learned a few new things about why our power suddenly went out for three of our kitchen outlets last night. Our new outlets look great and work well. We are planning to remodel our kitchen in the next few months and are happy to hear Volt will likely be able to help us with the electric for that, too.

I have worked with Volt many times in the past and this most recent experience again confirmed how good they are. I wanted to install four can lights and a ceiling fan in my home office.  I texted Ben, he gave a quote quickly over message and scheduled a date.  David came out to do the install.  He was professional and courteous. He carefully put plastic over everything before getting started and then installed the lights and can, cleanly and neatly.  He talked through placement with me and was honest and hard working.  Highly recommend them for any electrical work.

The service was spectacular*****! We called Ben in the middle of a recent heat wave. They next day Ben had one of his Super techs and I mean SUPER!  David Lopez was at my home the next morning @ 11:30 am.  We were up and running
@ 12:00 noon! Replaced a blown breaker and had our AC on before the heat of the day!

Ben and team were great! They installed a ceiling fan in my home studio and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up afterwards as well which meant a lot. Highly recommended!

I stumbled across this business because I was so desperately needed electrician last Friday. I needed a few repairs done before my home going to close escrow in about less than a few weeks.
3 GFCI needed to be replaced and one of them had a problem with the connection being reversed. (Darn home builder didn't installed correctly when we bought the home in the past) Ben took the called and he was able to send Austin to do the repaired. Austin is really a knowledgeable, helpful and honest electrician. He also helped me to resolve another issue that I had with repaired. Well done Austin! They were great. David explained options and working in refining for 37 years I know he was being sincere. Work was done perfectly..Maybe not the cheapest but electricity is not something you go want amateurs..

Austin was great. Came out after hours when we called for a busted main breaker. Fast, Friendly and great work.

Austin was my electrician and he did an awesome job. He was held up at a previous job and was very apologetic for the late arrival, but when he got here he was very efficient and very personable. Did a great job installing three pendant lights in my kitchen and a chandelier in our master bedroom. Pricing was more than we were originally quoted, which was the only drawback. However, I would use again.

With a new roof being installed, we need an electrician to wire in two attic roof fans with very little notice. I called Volt in Anaheim and worked with Ben. I sent him a photo of what we needed done and when. Ben provided a quick estimate and scheduled us between his other appointments 3 times!  

He was very professional every time I needed to let him know roofers had delayed the work by 1 day or even time of day.  Ben let me know when to expect him and when he was 30 minutes from arrival. He worked with the roofers and ensured the thermostat was set to the proper temperature. He even communicated via cell, when up in the attic, to show me the units working and how the install was being done!  Once complete, he accommodated my impromptu request to replaced 3 electrical outlets inside the house!

We are so grateful to have found Volt Tech! I am 9 months pregnant and these guys came out right away to fix our electricity that had gone out. Needless to say, it ended up being more work than we anticipated. Ben, the owner, helped so much with not only fixing the issues, but assisting us with our homeowners claim. His technicians, Austin and Manny, were super cool gentleman also, and were both super friendly and eager to get the job done before I went into labor. Bless their hearts! Even the drywall guy they sent out was polite, friendly, and helpful when I couldn't move the furniture. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for all electrical needs. Ben and his team (David and Manny) are most reliable electricians you can find. He is working around my budget and concerns and also help us out of a lot of side projects. I went to finish the last of two bathroom light fixture replacements last Sunday and the second turned into a nightmare because I wasn't happy with the offset from the crooked wall.  On Thursday my daughter and I spent most of the day destroying the electrical box to replace.  Just a nightmare with nuts on the back of bolts you don't have access to.  Well to cut this short,  I did my yelp request and asked for help that day.  Ben responded and made his way out to my my mom's house by 3.  He was on time.  I had only planned for him to install two GFIs as my daughter and I worked on the nightmare.  He took a look at it and said it wasn't going to happen and quickly fixed that too.  He also correctly wired the GFI in that bathroom so now it's legit.   My daughter was bummed she couldn't finish the job, but I was in peace throwing money at it and crossing it off my list.  Thanks Ben.

I called Volt around 6am on a Friday in desperate need of someone to figure out what was going on with my wall outlets which had died late the previous night. Before 8am I had a call back to let me know that they could probably make it around noon. They offered to text or call when they knew more and I just loved that they offered that option. It's helpful when your work has you on phones and in meetings. Got the text around 9:30 that Austin could be at my home in 40 minutes - even better than noon!
When Austin arrived I immediately felt comfortable welcoming him into my home. He's a positive, friendly, professional and was able to accurately diagnose the problem and quote me for his service and the parts. He replaced the offending outlets with care and with minimal interruption to my home. The cost wasn't cheap, but it was fair. Next time we have electrical needs I will be calling Volt!

Ben came by the same day because some of our outlets were not working. He was very fast and courteous and did his job well as far as I can tell. All the outlets that he worked on now are fine and we are able to plug our appliances in them. I want to thank Ben personally for being such a great electrician because he really cares about his work. I would recommend him to others if they are looking for a clean installation and repair.

I recently had a need to have an outside motion sensor light fixed. After talking to Ben and getting a quote from him which was reasonable compared to others I had received, he told me I may need a new fixture which I could either buy myself or they could provide as well but since we had certain model in mind, I bought it myself in advance and then Edwin came and installed and tested in less than 30 minutes. He is professional and has a good workmanship. Also it was easy scheduling an appointment with them and Ben is responsive.

I had a power outage and called Volt Tech because of their reviews and willingness to come out so quickly on a weekend. Manny came out, was super polite and got straight to work. He diagnosed the issue quickly, and had it fixed within an hour. He was very thorough, professional and explained everything. He made some recommendations for upgrading, as the house is older, but wasn't pushy at all. I would definitely recommend Volt Tech- they made it easy and fixed it immediately.

After an electrician I had used continued to be unresponsive to even come and give an estimate for my project, I searched for another go-to electrician.  It's always somewhat of a gamble hiring a contractor but I'm glad I came across Volt Tech.  They were quick to respond and were very professional from start to finish.  Ben had David and Manny come over and review the scope of the work.  Their pricing seemed fair and the work was completed that day.  I highly recommend Volt Tech Electric and will now be using them as my go-to electrician.

David was so nice and helpful!  My problem ended up just being a tripped gfi which he could have absolutely charged me the full service fee charge, however he said he felt bad taking my money for such an easy fix. It was actually pretty refreshing to have someone be so kind and honest these days. I will definitely be using them in the future with any further electrical needs.

Called and they were in my area and got a new electrical outlet installed in the garage. From initial call to install finish was less than 2 hours! Reasonably priced and no waiting or scheduling weeks out.

Very professional.  Got all the work done and stayed within budget.  Quick and clean.  Appreciated Benjamin's great eye for placement of the recessed lights.  Highly recommend them.

**UPDATE** Ben reached out and wanted to make things right and sent out someone to repair the stucco on our wall. And although I appreciate the gesture, I wish the sentiment was there from the beginning (as there were just so many things wrong with this entire transaction, and not stemmed from a bad review) and I wish there was nothing wrong to begin with for him to make right. But I did want to update the fact that they did come out and fix the stucco wall which we appreciate.

I used Volt Tech Electric for my electrical inspection for my first home buying experiencing. As expected, I was charged an inspection fee for them to come out and do an expert electrical inspection for safety and code violations and do an ACCURATE quote for the repairs necessary. I used this quote in order to submit to my sellers for credit in order to make sure all the electrical repairs get completed before buying the home. Unfortunately, they were not able to credit me for the full quote, instead of trying to find another electrical contractors to see if I can get the repairs done at a less expensive price I discussed the issue with Ben and Ben was KIND enough to mildly reduce the quoted price and we scheduled an appointment to do everything on his quoted list including the electrical repair.

Now comes the frustration. Once Ben was out to do the actual repair he informed us that he had to charge us MORE in order to get everything fixed because the electrical panel is more extensive and he then quoted us for MORE than the ORIGINAL quote he had given us. So not only are we not saving money, but what was the point of paying for the original inspection fee in order to get an ACCURATE quote. However, I tried to understand the fact that sometimes you do not get a good picture of how much work needs to be done until you fully open everything up. Sure. I agreed for them to continue to do the work at the now raised price. HOWEVER, I did not know that I am expected to pay additional money after the job is done because now I have to hire additional people in order to fix the stucco and exterior wall because of the electrical panel placement. They created GAPING holes around the electrical panel. Which was never communicated to me that that would happen and that I should be expecting to pay HUNDREDS more. Maybe I don't understand this business or how it is suppose to work but I am baffled.

1) I paid for an inspection fee to get an INACURRATE QUOTE that made me LOSE money because I submitted an INACCURATE quote list to my seller
2) Although he agreed to lower the original quote, he did not honor the discount and I am hit with a SURPRISE RAISE in price MORE than the original once we scheduled them for repair/job and then
3) they created unexplained damage to the property and expect us to fix it

I genuinely want to give this place 1 star for just an awful first time experience

At the end of the day even though the repairs were done there is now a GAPING ugly hole wall in my first home I just bought and now have to bleed more money to get fixed.

Freddy and Ben were great. They responded quickly when I had an issue and they stand by their work. Second time I've used these guys and will continue to do so.

Needed a couple ceiling fans installed. Responded right away & the fans look great.  Super friendly professional guy. When I need something electrical done, I call these guys first. You won't be disappointed.

Volt Tech Electric is the best in the business. I had a semi-unique situation where I lost half of the power in my apartment. The property management hired some untrained/unlicensed guy who came out, wasted our time, and made things worse. Thankfully thereafter they called Ben at Volt Tech. He got us set up with Austin, who came the same day. After a couple of hours diagnosing, he was able to find the problem. Volt Tech and our property management struggled to come to terms on a payment amount, but Austin sympathized for my family and still got everything fixed up. They were able to settle with the property owners afterwards... Five stars do not give enough credit for Austin and Ben. Austin went above and beyond what any other electrician would have done. I am beyond grateful for his help. Ben was extremely professional and helpful, especially considering the drama he went though with everything... I highly recommend Volt Tech Electric to anyone looking for electrical repairs and upgrades - you will not be disappointed.

Had an issue with a bathroom light switch not working correctly/consistently in addition to my circuit breaker being difficult to read and gave Volt Tech a call. They responded right away to my phone call and arrived to my home the next hour. They very easily and professionally fixed my bathroom light switch and replaced it with a better more reliable switch. They also were were nice about providing me quote estimates for any additional light work to be done on my home. Thanks for the service, highly recommended!
