We can't say enough great stuff about Steve and his assistant Moises!  We were  recommended to him by a friend after we were told by another company that we had a broken pipe in our floor.  Steve asked tons of questions on our initial phone call and after a while said he didn't think that was our problem.  He came out next day and after a little investigation found out it was just a really bad clog.  He cleaned it out and set up a cleanout in the wall and our problems were solved.  The other company wanted to charge us between $10-20 grand to repipe our house and tear up our floors!  Steve was awesome very friendly and courteous even with our 3 kids.  We had him back out a few days later to fix another problem and even though it took most of the day and way more work than we initially thought they stuck it out and got the job done.  I will never use another company. Steve is very affordable, honest, and fair.  If it can be fixed, he will get it done. If it doesn't need a huge fix, he will let you know what to watch for and call him when it does.  Overall, this was probably the best experience we ever had with a repair of any kind.

Called for a job, told it would be $100 additional for his unlicensed assistants time due to traffic. Wouldn't mind paying extra for a plumber, not two guys that don't know what they're doing. After voicing my concern Steve got angry and told me to find someone else.

Lost two customers, my friend that recommended him and myself.

I first met Steve the Plumber a few years ago when he came to work on my mother's house in El Cajon.  She had a 60-year-old home that had ancient plumbing and numerous problems.  Steve came, his helper came, and his son came.  They were respectful, meticulous, professional.   They came prepared with so many parts, and they worked industriously until everything was in working order.  
Later, Steve helped me with a problem in my own home.  He came out the same day, charged very reasonable  prices and, again, did meticulous work.  
Recently, I thought I had a plumbing problem and he quickly made an appointment to come help me out.  But I soon realized that I did not really have the problem I thought I had, and I had to cancel the appointment.  He was so courteous and kind and understanding.  I offered to reimburse him for his troubles, but he would not take reimbursement.
I told Steve I always call him for plumbing work because I know I can trust him.  He told me, I was born an honest man, and I'm going to die an honest man, and that's why I stay in business.  And it's true.  When you call Steve, you know youa re in good hands!

HONEST and fair! I found Steve's Plumbing on yelp and I'm so glad I called. I was able to get SAMEDAY service with no extra fees or hidden gimics. Very professional, fast, and detailed. I hit a pipe while drilling and was in desperate need of quick service. After I called Steve's Plumbing, I already felt better. Within the hour help arrived! I called last week, and Steve was able to come by for an estimate the same day. I needed to replace an original sink in my bathroom. Steve not only advised that me about what needed to be done, but also went out of his way to aquire the replacement parts and sinks I needed. He also set up an installation date that worked with my schedule, and brought all the parts and the new sinks with him. The whole process from start to finish was smooth and stress-free. Steve and his apprentice were very polite, clean, and friendly in appearance and behavior. They got right to work, and knew exactly what they were doing. The job would have taken me all day to do, but they were finished in two hours. I am very satisfied with the services recieved, and the overall experience. I will definitely give Steve all of my future plumming business. Thanks Steve.

Great response; had to wait (called on Sat afternoon) until Monday but not an emergency for us and we weren't around on Sunday anyways. First thing Monday, he shows up, snaking the drain was a bit challenging (it had been ~10 year since the last time) but he was able to clear the line nicely. My drain/sewer system is not the most logical or easy to snake, so the hour plus on the job was really quite fast. Price was not the cheapest (careful, you get what you pay for) but will within reason and very efficient. I will hire him again in a minute.

Outstanding job. Professional, great prices and very clean. Steve even gave me a lesson on plumbing. Fixed everything I and the previous owner messed up. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

I found Steve's Plumbing through a referral and SO happy with the job!  Steve came out to my house to fix some pipes under my kitchen sink and while he worked, he gave me some great insight into common things that I could do to ensure the life of my home piping system.

Oh my gosh. 30 people coming tomorrow and we had a leak in the shower.  My husband called and he came in 30 min. Fixed the leak and was done. The price was right and things are great. He cleaned the shower head and replaced the cartridge. Give this guy a call. Nice honest and fair.

I called Steve out based on yelp reviews alone. He was here the next business day. I had a non flushing toilet and a smelly shower and originally asked him to snake all drains which I knew could be pricey! Instead he showed up on time, fixed my toilet and used a chemical to make my drain smell go away. He checked all my fixtures and drains throughout the house and gave me tips as a home owner as to keeping things running well. He did not snake my drains and told me it wasn't needed. He could have easily gotten near 300 dollars from me today and instead did the minimum to solve my issues. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I will be renting my home soon and his card is going in my file cabinet for sure!

Steve responded to our call for help quickly and did a great job cleaning out our blocked drains. Steve and his employee did a thorough job, the price was fair, and Steve even gave us some tips and tricks for the future. I was hesitant to have someone in our home in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was clear that Steve is taking this serious-- they walked in with their hands freshly sanitized and face masks. I absolutely recommend Steve and his team and will be using his services in the future.

Called to see about help with a small issue. Was told there's no coming to take a look! Ok so I hung up and called someone who was helpful and not rude!

This review started as a 1 star review.  I spoke with Steve prior to  finishing this, and have adjusted the star rating and write up accordingly.

So, this is the experience with the service we received from Steve's Plumbing.  375$ to tell me where the clog was, but he was unable to clear it.

Here is what happened.

We have a rental property with senior citizens as tenants.  The property is 1950's, cast iron piping below the slab.  Every few years the drain from the sink, to the tub, out to the main, gets clogged between the tub and then main.  This causes the tub and the sink to back up and we call a plumber out to come snake the line and clear the clog.  We have used Steve in the past, and during that visit, a year ago, it was great service.  Our renters where very happy, he snaked the line, cleared the clog, everyone could move about their lives.

Until Sunday when it happened again.  So, I called Steve back, it being Sunday, he couldn't make it out, perfectly fine and our renters where good to go with that.  Steve makes it out mid day Monday, can't clear the clog, he works it two hours.  Says he is pulling back sludge on the snake and it looks to possible be a broken pipe.  Old house, caster iron pipe under the slab, this is not something that is unheard of, and I took this to mean the worse.  Steve says he will need to get a locator out to see where the snake is stopping and where the possible break is.  Total cost 375$ + what ever its going to be to then begin to fix the problem.  He get's his locator guy out, Ruben, great guy, did a great job, very knowledgeable.  We locate the possible end point, but we wont know 100% for sure unless we begin to dig.  We start talking about that and the dates it can start.  Mind you, I have senior citizens living in the place, they need their shower.  I need to get this fixed as soon as possible and not have this go out for too long a time.  We talk dates, and it just isn't working out; the only date Steve can make is Thursday, and then he is booked till Monday.  If the problem is bigger then just a one day job, then who knows how long this is going to take.  Add that to the now remodel of the bathroom that is about to happen and its just not a good day for a home owner.  Steve recommends maybe getting another guy out to take a look, see if they can expedite getting under the slab and getting the busted pip fixed.  Since it is late in the day by this point I agree, told Steve I would let him know.

Contact another local guy.  He gets in, takes a few looks, we explain all the above, he ask's a few questions, says he wants to try something, if it doesn't work then no charge.  He tries, it, it works, clog is cleared and my renters can take their shower.

As I said at the start, this was a 1 star review.  I, the consumer, felt taken.  Yes, Steve came out and did prompt work, he was courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, but nothing was resolved.  The clog was still present and I was out 375$.  I spoke with Steve prior to posting this review.  We had a good back and fourth.  He worked hard, but in this consumers mind, I paid for no resolution.  I felt like I took my car in to get a leak fixed in a tire, only to be charged for not repairing said tire.  Yes, they might have racked the car, taken the tire off, looked at, tried a few things that normally would have worked, but in the end, there was still a leak and I was charged.

During the conversation Steve and I agreed that his contractor needed to be paid.  Ruben did a great job as I said above, but since Steve was unable to resolve the clog, and that a possible mistake might have been made, that he would refund me for his time.  Total cost now 225$.  As a consumer and one who recommends services to my friends and family, people like Steve will get my recommendations because they stood up and didn't charge for services they couldn't resolve.

I woke up to water on my garage floor, and it's Thanksgiving week. I have used Steve's Plumbing in the past, (he did a great job for a fair price.)
I gave him call and was so grateful he was able to come out in a few hours.
Had a pipe that sprung a leak. Steve and his son replaced the bad area of the pipe. Leak was gone! Then I asked, after the holidays will you come back to replace a leaky garbage disposal? He said let me look at it right now! Yippie for me! He was able to replace my old disposal with a new one  and very quickly too! Much Thanks to Steve and his son for coming out so quickly and doing a A+ job, and again, it think the price was very fair. I would recommend Steve's Plumbing 100%. Thanks Steve!

I tried to replace the wax seal on my toilet myself and had problems with the bolts breaking loose from the flange.  Very frustrated, I found Steve on YELP, and called him.  He told me he could be over in two hours.  He actually texted me and showed up in one hour after the initial call.  He is knowledgeable and his price was very fair.  He works on customers houses like it was his own.  Thank you very much Steve!

Steve was great! I contacted several plumbers. We are starting to remodel things and need a plumber for several components.  Steve was fair with his price, very honest and extremely helpful.  He even offered advice for things we were doing ourselves to help us out! We will absolutely be having him come back for some more work as we get through our projects!  They did a great job on raising our shower, replacing all the flanges & valves and helping with the water shut off for the house!  I'm looking forward to working with him again.

If you need a plumber - don't call anyone else! He is definitely the guy to go to! I'm very particular about who we use for work especially growing up with a dad who did everything himself.  Steve is the best plumber we've used by far!

My water heater started leaking so I called Steve's Plumbing for a water heater replacement.
He came right out the same day and measured for a new one. Within just a few hours he installed a brand new commercial grade water heater. Steve was very friendly and professional. The install turned out awesome. Steve is a very experienced plumber who knows exactly what he is doing.
Before I found out about Steve's I called around to the big box stores and got nothing but a run around and their prices were much higher than Steve's

Steve and his worker showed up at 11 was out at 12-30 with the job done.  I had a leak from the ceiling and called Steve.  He was here the same day, didn't take very long and quoted me a hell of a lot less than anyone out there, and did a great job.  He found 3 different spots in my copper piping and another one forming on a different pipe.  He cut those pipes out, replaced them with brand new pipes, cleaned up after the job was done and took off.  He was fast, honest, didn't waste time and gave a great deal.  Thanks again Steve and his worker.

By only a phone call, I determined this guy had an anger issue. He was bullying, intimidating, claiming he just wanted to get IN and OUT without wasting time. His arrogance also demanded $150 up front to even come out to quote the job.

I found out about Steve's Plumbing at the Santee Street Fair and I am so glad I did. This is my first time ever needed a plumber so I wasn't really sure what to expect.

What I got was a quick response time, very reasonable pricing, efficient and courteous professional plumber. He was so nice even after my garbage disposal spewed him with fishy water. Steve took it in stride by simply brushing off the fish particles and then even cleaning up the mess for us under the sink!

He was also nice enough to seal our sink for us after he saw that it wasn't clipped or bolted in. On top of that he left us with the rest of the sealant, no extra charge for the sink. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone!

Steve is fantastic. He's kind, responsive, knowledgeable, and honest. I had a clogged kitchen sink that required him to snake it from my roof. He was careful not to damage my old gutters. Once unclogged he told me to use an organic enzyme to help keep the pipes clear of grime to help prevent future clogs.

I have used many plumbers over the years being a landlord. I answered a flyer Steve had sent out about 10 years ago and he is the only plumber I will use. Water can do a lot of damage and as I have learned the hard way, deal with a licensed Plumber!
Steve is punctual. His prices are reasonable, but what I like the most about Steve's
service....he only fixes the problem once!

My Mother-in-Law and Father-In Law  had a major plumbing problem. He came out within an hour and a half which was awesome in the hottest part of the summer and they were majorly impressed with his professionalism and personality. They and I would definitely recommend him.

I am perplexed as I write this review after reading all of the beaming reviews and actually having had used Steve's before with no issues.

I called Steve out to a rental home I have in Santee to repair a toilet that wouldn't stop running. Steve got out there quickly and performed $225 worth of work, none of which stopped the running. He did call me and inform me that the handle was sticking and he didn't have the part because it was an older model toilet (maybe this information would have been more appropriate if received before racking up a $225 invoice), but he greased it and hopefully that did the trick.

Well, it didn't so I called Steve and asked if he warrantied his work. That didn't sit well with him and he proceeded to scream at me that he can't be expected to carry every part for every toilet on his truck, some other sarcastic comments, information about his years of experience, and that my tenant was OK with the sticking handle. That was true, however, my tenant didn't understand that this would make the running persist. I had actually purchased the handle myself, and was hoping Steve would install it, but he started getting belligerent with me before I could ask. Eventually I was able to tell him that I purchased the handle and he did text me that he would install it for FREE, but at that point, I didn't want anything to do with him.

I was so upset that I never want to speak with this man ever again in my life. It is NOT OK to bully customers who expect that the problem you were paid to fix is fixed. If you didn't have the proper part to make the toilet stop running, you shouldn't accept the job. I would have called another plumber who was willing to order the part and do the job I requested, or for that matter, replace it.

We had a weird whistling noise coming from our downstairs toilet and we went on the NextDoor app to find recommendations for a local plumber. We had multiple people in the Santee area refer us to Steve's Plumbing.

I called Steve and he happen to be in the area and came by my house within 20 minutes. From the start he was very professional and very personable. He checked multiple things with the plumbing, not just the toilet, to make sure there weren't any other issues going on or on the verge of happening in the near future. He also explained his thought process on accessing the issue and gave different options to fix it. He even showed me what to do as a good preventative maintenance. He fixed the whistling and he even had time to add in a new water line to our fridge in the garage.

My water heater had gone out and I looked on yelp for a plumber and Steve's popped up.  So we call him around 4 and by the next morning the water heater was fixed. Steve and his helper did a great job!!!  Would recommend him to all my friends and family

What a nightmare my toilet overflowed again!! I know I have a problem and now it's time to call a professional. I'm a fairly new homeowner, it's early in the morning,and can't get a decent reference for a reliable plumber. I open my yelp app for a Santee plumber and Steve comes up, some reviews are great a couple not so complimentary so in my usual fashion I roll the dice..... I'm so glad I did!!!!I called Steve at 7am he told me he had a few jobs to do that day but he could be over in the afternoon, he called me an hour before gave me enough time to leave work, he met me at my house, went straight to work, fixed my toilet, told me the job would be $200.00 & actually charged me $175.00 not bad I think,also very informative. His assistant Moises was very helpful,with plenty of rubs for my dog!! Thanks Steve!!

Steve the plumber did an excellent job. He was on time, unplug all the drains in a timely manner, repaired the toilets and adjusted all the water levels on all three toilet which in turn will save me water and money. On top of everything else he was good with the dogs. I would recommend Steve for any of your plumbing needs.

Based on other Yelp reviews, I contacted Steve's Plumbing to see if he could help me replace my garbage disposal. Someone from his office immediately responded to my email and asked that I call Steve directly. He had me take pictures of my current GD so he could recommend a replacement unit I could purchase myself.
Moises came out to my home and did all the work in about 45 minutes for less than $100.  He checked to make sure everything was in working order while beingprofessional and courteous.
It's hard to trust people you don't know to not lead you in the wrong direction.....Steve was upfront and honest and never waivered from his over the phone estimate.

We have a home in So. Mission Bay and a neighbor told us about Steve. I also had several other  plumbering companies come in and give me a bid on replacing my shower head that had broken off behind the wall. I immediately like Steve's straightforwardness and felt instantly I could trust him and I was correct- he did a fantastic job and I didn't feel ripped off- ( trust me-I know I have been taken a few times $$$$). It was great finding Steve and I would highly recommend him!!  Since I trusted him- I called and asked if he knew a good electrician and wow he referred me to a fantastic electrician too. Great to see a family run businesses that are reliable and trusting!!!!!!

Steve is amazing! I have had him do many jobs for me over the years. For one he always calls me back and always let's me know when he is on the way. He is on time and a very honest man. He brought along his daughter today and she was just as amazing. They had to remove a few items under my sink. She was so sweet and put everything back nice and neatly, better than I had it. Steve always cleans up when he is done, I don't have to do anything and I really appreciate that.
Today I had an extra job not expecting that he would do it today but he was more than happy to do so.

I called this guy to come out for a job and told him the job involved two condos and he told me that my job was too much drama and he was not interested... really?

Steve is very knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing and in addition is very pleasant to have out to your home. He charges a good fair price and wants to do the best thing for you the consumer at the end of the day. Having a plumber you can trust, that will fix it right the first time is something you can't go wrong with.
Steve has been out to my house on multiple occasions and does his best to fit you in the same day, schedule permitting. (One time I had a backed drain and it was a Saturday, I called around 9am and he came out same day around 2pm, totally awesome!) I really appreciate Steve and his assistant Moises.  Their efforts in restoring my plumbing back to normal on short notice. When you have a plumbing issue you want it fixed right away, and you want it done correctly, by going to Steve, you know you are getting great labor and parts.  Steve wants to get your plumbing issues resolved without you breaking the bank and doing what's best in the your interests. I highly recommend Steve's Plumbing to anyone that needs plumbing work done!

So, I've used this company twice. The first time he drained a water heater and put on a brass valve and replaced the pressure regulator for my house. The job went great.

I called him again to put a box in for a gas valve behind my oven (old gas pipe was too far from the wall for the oven to be pushed in all the way). I asked him for an estimate on the job. He said he would need to see it first. I asked him if $250 would be enough to cut some pipe and install the valve, he said he wasn't sure it could be cheaper. So I pull out the 300 just to be safe. He asked me to find the box I would need and buy it.

He's there for an hour and a half and charges $260.00.  I thought the price was a bit excessive and asked him about it. Apparently, he brought an assistant out and billed labor at a cost for 2 plumbers even though only one plumber could be working on the pipe at a time. He also gave me a discount for paying the cost in cash last time, but didn't mention anything about it to my wife when she was paying him. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth which is a shame because he did good work.

Steve's Plumbing was the 3rd plumber we had out over a 3 year period.  We have paid $800+ to the 3 other plumbers for different techniques before Steve Fazikas plumbing.  

Symptom: The sink in the kitchen and garage sink backs up every time the laundry drains.  We are talking sewer water backing up in our kitchen and garage sink every time we washed clothes.  Also, the excess laundry water would over flow all over the garage floor.

It was rotting the wood studs at the bottom of the walls.  It is major money when the studs at the bottom of the walls go.  Not to mention having our stuff wet with laundry water every week if we did not watch out.  

The first plumber raised the pipe at the laundry.  The second plumber snaked between the laundry and kitchen sink.  The third plumber water jetted the lines for 2 hours.  

They brought out a high powered cutting snake, really heavy duty.  Put a small cutting blade on and found a obstruction 50 feet down the line.  Then after water was flowing he followed it with 2 other larger blades to get the maximum amount of flow.  

It was probably almost at the street where the plumbing converges with other lines coming from the house and meets the sewer line.  

They are knowledgeable, have the right equipment, and showed up prepared to work.  He explained everything he was doing and it all made sense.  It was like they had X-ray vision of the pipes under the ground.  

I was ready to jack hammer up the lines in the garage.  Steve gave me the bill, he could have ask for 3x more and I would have gladly paid.  

Steve's Plumbing, you saved my marriage.  We are busy people, laundry is now a pleasure.  It used to be hell.

I will start with the positive.  My landlord and her family have been using him for years and obviously felt confident with him to continue using him.  Also, I called him to come out and replace our property side valve and he was out the next morning at 730!
    That being said I will never use this plumbing service again and have already expressed to my landlord that I dont trust this guy.  He called my handicapped landlord, who no longer lives in ca,  and quoted her 500-600 to replace the valve before even coming out and looking at the issue.  Then when he got here he called and told her it was going to be 700!  I felt that this was steep for a valve that you could go get from home depot. I went out and questioned why exactly he felt it was going to be so much and if he was doing more work than requested of him.  At this point he got angry and literally said do you know who I am?  I was shocked as to me this seemed like a very threatening response to my simple question.  We went back and forth as to why he felt this simple job would be $700.  I walked away when he said who are you?  You're just a tenant?  You mean nothing to me?  I'm sorry but how much more UNPROFESSIONAL can you be!  I will no longer be using Steves plumbing which means this tenant obviously means more to you than you realized!

Steve has always been upfront, honest, ethical, and generous with his time and expertise. He is willing to take the time to explain issues, needed repairs, and how to proceed in the future. We just completed a bathroom remodel, and some highly problematic issues were discovered. Steve worked alongside the person completing the remodel to address and resolve these issues, as well as prevent future problems. Both his son and daughter have come along as assistants, and they are kind, polite and extremely hard-working. We love having them. We will continue to be loyal customers!

This company helped us and advised us on many future problems that may occur in our future. (We have had our suspicions of our plumming issues). He is VERY informative!!  I highly recommend this company! Fast, courtious and he DOESN'T price gouge.

Finally found the Best Plumber! Steve came highly recommended by Santee Chamber of Commerce. He picked up my call personally, and had one of his guys out here within 2 hours. Repaired a shower, 3 toilets, leaking dishwasher drain & did caulking around sink, Work was completely done in 2 hours for about $100 less than other companies low-ball phone quotes.
I'll use him and refer him again and again! Thank you Steve & Russell.

Steve was very dependable and on time. He was very helpful at explaining the job at hand. I would recommend him to anyone with a plumbing issue. Will definitely call him again when needed.

This was one of the worst plumbers that I ever picked I bought a water filter to be changed out to put a new one on he changed the valves on the unit and use duct tape I was told by the park these are not the right wires this has to be redone I also had a hose not put on that was lousy too it's still leaking if you want a good plumber please don't use this one all the work that he did was lousy I paid for service that I didn't get please don't use this plumber you won't get your money's worth

Called Steve and he answered right away.

He was available same day to come out and take a look at a clogged kitchen sink drain that we had.

He walked me through the process while his colleague was snaking the main line. All said and done in about 30 minutes and the drain is better than before the clog. Even gave me some helpful tips for clog prevention and overall drain health.

Was very please with the service and would be happy to contact him again for Plumbing service.

Giving him 2 stars because expensive moen faucet he bought and installed was rusting after only 2 years and told us we had to deal directly with moen. I don't find that to be very good customer service

Had an issue with my kitchen sink and garbage disposal, and Steve was able to come the same day I called and fixed the problem and more! Great work and great guy. Definitely the only plumber I'll be using going forward.

OK I read the low reviews and laughed, and then I read the other reviews and decided to take a risk with Steve and his team.  Will never regret that decision because there was no risk at all.  I now have a plumber who I know I can call and get the job done right.  For me it started out as a self repair job but it became obvious the problem was out of my skill set.  I called Steve and he said he would be her in 20 minutes and he was.  He looked at the job, made some suggestions and immediately went to work and corrected my problem.

Excellent service.  Called on a Saturday, made an appointment for Monday, Steve and 2 helpers arrived on time and went right to work after I showed them the leak coming from the 2nd story shower drain.  They had all the correct tools, supplies and knowledge to finish the job in less than 2 hours at a price I felt was fair (or I would have done it myself).  I watched it all and was even happier I contracted Steve when I saw the additional roadblocks they encountered during the repair work - this would have taken me all day and at least 3 trips for plumbing supplies and would not have been as quality of a job as the preformed work I gladly paid to have done.
I found Steve's plumbing in a search for Santee plumbing online and lucked out getting an honest and local company.

Back again to tell you what a great job Steve does.  He has repaired and replaced things for me in the past.  This time it was a leaky faucet outdoors.  He was nice, professional and got the job done.  Showed up on time and fixed the issue as usual.  Don't hesitate to call him if you want the job done right!  There are so many options when it comes to calling a plumber, why waste your time when you can just call Steve and get the job done.

I called Steve for help getting a faucet repaired because the internal parts were frozen.  He was experienced enough to check our water pressure and discovered that our pressure regulator had failed.  So the repair took longer than anticipated but, based on previous plumbers I've hired, Steve's fee was far lower than I expected to have two plumbers on the job.

Steve and his assistant,  Moises, were professional and very respectful of my home and pets during their time here.   I would not hesitate to call him agsin

Steve was able to fit in our emergency plumbing job (busted pipe near the water main, had to turn the water off) that happened near the end of the day, even though he was busy when we called. He got the problem fixed in no time, not long after he even arrived. (And my parents had a nice conversation with him when the job was done, so he's got the people skills too :) ).

Great job, definitely recommended.

Steve came out the day he was called, diagnosed the problem, gave me two alternative solutions and the cost of each, accepted the alternative I chose, supplied the parts required from stock, did the work and was gone in less than an hour and 15 minutes.

His pricing was reasonable and he took the time to clearly explain each alternative approach to resolving the problem and overall was very courteous and professional.

In all, a very good experience. I would employ his services again and recommend him and his firm to potential users.

the main drain line on my house backed up today (very hot Saturday) so I called Steve's plumbing, Steve and his son Brock were able to fit me into their schedule and arrived within an hour, they located both of the clogged drains quickly and were able to clear them from the vent pipes on the roof they were both very friendly, professional and competent.
Steve offered some great tips on preventing future clogs and answered all of my questions their rates were very reasonable and my drains are working great now.

Steve showed up on time, neat and professional. I had several small jobs that he performed in quick-time. His charge was fair, he left the scene cleaner than he found it, and thanked me with a smile. I asked him about my aging water heater, expecting a sales job. Nope. Your hot water heater is fine It has quite a few good years in it. You just can't beat honesty and integrity!

I actually haven't had Steve to do any work at our house, but I felt he deserved five stars for his help.

We had a blockage in our main drain, and had Anderson Plumbing out the night all of the flooding happened. They spent hours at our house and we not able to clear the blockage. They charged us $600 and then told us the fix would cost us $3500 - they believed we had roots in the drain or the pipe had collapsed.

As I was going back and forth with our home warranty company, I called Steve for a second opinion (he had previously been recommended by a co-worker). Steve spent 15 minutes on the phone with me, asking questions about our issue. At the end, he was of the opinion we got wrong information from Anderson and to not assume they diagnosed the issue correctly.

Long story long, out home warranty sent a technician who was able to clear the blockage in 10 minutes - no indication of roots or a collapse.

A neighbor recommended Steve's Plumbing to me when I had a clogged drain. He came out within an hour. Later I contacted him to relocate our washer and dryer and water heater. Again he arrived quickly and provided a quote. I changed my mind about 5 times about where to put them and what work I wanted done. He was kind and understanding. When he relocated and replaced our water heater he was on time, professional, knowledgeable and very polite. - we're a military family beginning a long deployment, our stress level about pending home projects is high. It was a such a relief to us that he was so easy to work with and professional.

I have been very impressed with the quality and service I received with Steve's Plumbing. My water heater finally gave out on me on a Saturday morning and when I called Steve he answered promptly and was able to come diagnose the situation and get me back up and running.

Woke up this morning and found our water heater leaking.  I called Steve and he was over in 2 hours.  He put in a new water heater.  Did a great job.  He's friendly and courteous.  Great attention to detail. He's an experienced professional plumber.  My husband and I highly recommend him.

Looking for plumber this morning to for kitchen sink problem with dishwasher draining into sink and not draining after last use.  Spoke with Steve who had finished a job early, was here in less than 10 minutes-couldn't repair dishwasher if that was needed, but did see that things under the sink were not right.  Repaired two clogs and changed hoses and put new dishwasher air gap and guess what the dishwasher drained and is working properly.  

I'm so happy with the service and Steve's professionalism-will definitely call on him again!

Steve is part of our family, being married to my step-niece. We have been using been using Steve for over 15 years. He has been very professional, dependable and responsive, and always willing to assist in emergencies.

During a Thanksgiving holiday there was a leak in the main water line to the house. He came out to make the repair that required custom work and gaskets. On other occasions he fixed a waterline that the compression fitting had exploded going to the ice machine that a handyman hooked up at the same time fixed a value in the bathroom.  This was the same day we invited his family over for dinner.

He has installed a pressurized toilet, a new shutoff value, a new water heater, snaked the waterline from the kitchen to the main line and several fixtures in our home. Several times he went ahead and replace some external facets that I did not know needed to be fixed, but was needed.  Every time Steve does work not once did he have to redo or any rework. When it comes to any plumbing needs, I have the best confidence in Steve to do it right the first time.

He has also done work on our rental property. I had a main waste line break on a cast iron pipe that was over 60 years old. I had a quote of 5K, by a plumber sent from the insurance company only to find out the claim was not going to be covered. Steve did the job for 1.5K and fixing only water was needed. He also did a garbage disposal replacement and fixed some leaking pipes. Although he is family I would not be using him if he was not up to par or did quality work. I have come to realize that if you want quality work done right the first time you have to pay for all the years of experience and wisdom that Steve has to offer.  I will be using Steve in the future for all of our plumbing needs.

I called a few plumbers, and left a few messages, when I called Steve he picked up immediately, was very friendly, and was to my place in a few hours. I had a clogged drain on 2 connecting sinks an auger wouldn't get to due to a T fitting, so Steve tapped directly into the drain in a discrete location, and added some custom piping to allow him, and myself in the future, to auger out any bad clogs. He was very professional, explained everything he was doing, did great work, and didn't try to rip me off. I strongly recommend calling him if you need a plumber.

Steve did not do his own work, he had an assistant.  He over charged and was rather rude when I asked for a formal invoice.  I asked him to install a new faucet in the kitchen, which was done by his assistant.  And then I needed to have my gas line for my stove moved as it was up high at counter level and needed to be moved down to where the new stove had the attachment for gas.  He didn't do this at all.  He just added some pipe and attached the gas line outside the wall.  When the stove was pushed in again it stuck out about 2 inches.  I couldn't open the dishwasher as it hit the stove.  It's a small kitchen.  I called an he refused to come back and fix it.  I had to call Bill Howe Plumbing to come back and fix it properly.  That plumber cut the dry wall and moved the pipe inside the dry wall and finished the job properly.  I did not send him the full amount he was charging.  I will never hire this plumber again.  I would warn others also.

I was very impressed by Steve and his son. I just got new washer and dryer and called Steve to install them. Glad I did he connected the gas line for the dryer and ran an exhaust to the outside of my home.  I discovered the water valves for washer were leaking and he changed them for me as well. Had great conversation and it was all cleaned up.  His prices are very reasonable. I will call him again when needed.    Thank you so much Steve

we had a new fridge delivered but the installers would not complete the installation because the water valve was too old and stuck tight. Steve and his son came the same day and replaced the valve. Steve was very upfront about the work and the cost.  He let me know that he would not be able to repair the drywall where he would need to cut to get to the pipe. That was fine since it's behind the fridge, but I appreciated him being clear about it. I was really glad to see his son doing a lot of the work with Steve's supervision; great for a young man to have those skills. The work was excellent and Steve even helped us with our toilet flush and a recommendation on water heater replacements before he left. Overall a great experience, we'll definitely have them back for the water heater when we're ready.

Steve came out with fairly short notice and reamed out a bathroom drain in our rental house. He returned my call, gave a good estimate, showed up on time, did the job very thoroughly and carefully and was done quickly for a very reasonable price on 2/2/18.  I will have him do all our plumbing in the future.

Quick, Professional, Courteous, and I hear he makes a great Szalonna Sütés!!! Definately going back to Steve with my business. He makes it his priority to make sure he has completed everything to my expectations, and explains everything to me while he is doing the work. If I tried to do half the stuff I've called Steve for, I'd have a lot more plumbing problems. Great dealing with a professional, licensed plumber. I am definitely going back to Steve with my business....
