ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Native San Franciscan, I started plumbing at 19 years of age. My uncle was a plumbing contractor, who gave me a great opportunity to charge my life ,which is truly was a gift ! My goal and mission statement is to hire other young men and women to teach them a trade where they can provide for their themselves and their family’s as well.
I’m currently 52 years of age and love what I do ,your bobo is our bread and butter lol . I started out in residential new construction, were Plumber’s are the 1st ones in and the last ones out . I’ve worked for a few plumbing co. Learning remodel plumbing then went in to service. I’m well rounded in all kinds of plumbing from installing water heaters to changing out sewer lines . My son works for me and is my better half our goal is to change the world one toilet at a time !

Shedrick helped us with installing a faucet on stainless steel countertop. No-one else wanted to help or knew what to do, but Shedrick helped us and did a masterful job. Thank you, Shedrick!
We had a broken water heater that was over 10 years old. Shedrick gave us a really fair price on the replacement and installation. He arrived promptly, was professional and friendly. I had a plumbing situation that needed immediate attention. I had a gas line that had to be moved right away or my kitchen wasn't going to be installed in the timeframe in which I needed. Shedrick came out fixed it quickly and masterfully. He fixed a bathroom sink perfectly. And the next thing he's going to be doing is a new head the bathroom shower. I absolutely recommend him.

Found shedrick here on yelp and he did not disappoint. My shower and toilet were backed up and it was a saturday night. Most plumbers were out for the weekend or way over my tight budget. Shedrick took my call and gave me a fair price for this weekend emergency job. He did his job with great knowledge and courtesy towards me as his customer. I really liked his effort and commitment towards getting the job done without cutting corners!! I live in the portola district and will continue to support Shedrick! you the man!

Shedrick was prompt, professional and a skilled plumber. He fixed our insinkerator and we then asked Shedrick to replace a nozzle and he advised that was unnecessary; with that said he not only saved us some money he displayed 2 very important characteristics, honesty and integrity. We have finally found a plumber we can trust!
Shedrick is awesome! My review is long overdue. I called him at 9pm on a Sunday night, stressed out about a plumbing DIY fail. He was extremely helpful and able to come immediately the next morning. He even helped prepare for his visit by having me text him photos that evening. He was able to quickly fix our issue and put us at ease. He's extremely kind and knowledgeable. I am so happy I found Shedrick. I highly recommend him and will be sure to call him the next time I have plumbing needs!
I called Shedrick early on a Friday morning and he arrived within the hour at my place of business where we were having issues with our toilet. He was kind and thorough and his work was a quick fix for 24 hours. We were able to stay open that day for business. Unfortunately, our plumbing issue returned. The problem was deep in our sewage lines so a plumber was hired by the building's owner to resolve the issue.
Shedrick checked in with me in the weeks after the incident to make sure things were moving along well and correctly with the other plumber. He was kind and patient with me and my lack of plumbing expertise. I would definitely call him again in the future if plumbing problems arise.
Shedrick is a great plumber. He has helped me with replacing a water heater at a property and has also helped with many water clogs. He is great because he will educate you at the same time as solve your problem. Highly recommend him!
I Heard about Shedrick the plumber and thought I would give him a call, I'm glad I did he came to my home the day after I reached him and fixed a bathroom pluming problem that we had for some time that no one could seem to fix...and at a great price. I would definitely use him again........

I would have to say he gave wonderful service with a wonderful price. I have called him to my home twice one small job and one big job. I also referred him to someone that needed plumbing done (there pipes busted in front of there house and he was out there the same day). THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT HELP! I highly recommend him for a small or large job..
Shedrick was friendly enough at the beginning but turned into a nightmare.
I called him because our regular contractor was unavailable. After two trips, multiple hours of my own time wasted and unnecessary parts purchased without authorization, he had achieved absolutely nothing while leaving our kitchen unusable. By this stage our regular contractor was available again, explained how Shedrick was entirely clueless, and fixed everything promptly and effortlessly.
Perhaps unsurprisingly the invoice Shedrick provided was obscenely high and provided as a single line item. I asked that he itemize it so that I could pay him for the work that he actually did. He proceeded to call me repeatedly and be verbally abusive.
This kind of unprofessionalism, starting with gross incompetence and finishing with abuse is appalling, but in this case preventable: call somebody else.

Shedrick started by helping me try to fix the problem on my own, and then when we determined it was slightly complicated, he was over in under an hour, with new parts in hand. Half an hour later he was on his way and nothing was leaking.
Shedrick saved my bacon yet again.
Shedrick was knowledgeable, competent and reasonable.
Besides being a great plumber he is known and respected by the city's building inspectors which never hurts.
Give him a try, he is solid.

I was a bit apprehensive about using a yelp review, to pick a plumber to come into my home to fix my broken leaking shower head which had broken off in my hand. Shedrick, returned my call quickly. He was supportive and knowledgeable about what I was attempting to describe, he arrived and proceeded to be very skilled at his work, He showed up with tools and was extremely reliable, his prices were within what I could handle and he told me not to worry. Being my first experience with Shedricktheplumber. I was extremely comforted and recommended him to several friends for his integrity,pricing and quality workmanship.
My main line was broken the day after Thanksgiving. He showed up within an hour with a a friendly attitude and a smile fixed it properly and was amazing. I honestly couldn't be more impressed with the workmanship and communication

Had Shedrick on my job, he started out ok. Then one of his guys was cutting a pipe, as he was cutting he was cutting the pipe and the outside of the house at the same time, no care in the world about it or even a jesture that they would fix the problem. There was a delay in the project do to some changes from the owner and the guy never came back. After a week of emails, calls, text messages finally got a text message that he was not comming back, what a way to do buisness.Thank god I held back money from him since almost all the water pipes he roughed in were leaking or mixed hot and cold, he installed an on demand hot water heater with a gas pipe that could not supply enought gas for it and all the other fixtures. He also had non fire rated box's in a fire rated wall. What a disaster. I would never use or refer this guy to anyone, ever!!

I called Shedrick the Plumber on a Saturday early evening. He was able to come out the same night to fix my clogged tub. He was very personable and pleasant. I would not hesitate to use his services again in the future. I highly recommend him!

Shedrick came on a Sunday at about 7 pm this past spring just before he closed for the day. My good fortune but it extended his day for sure! My kitchen drain decided not to, and Shedrick came and worked diligently and professionally to clear the pipe. The blockage was quite far down and it took longer than originally thought. I was very happy with his careful attention to physical distancing, mask wearing, and protecting my home from any work related mess. In addition he was so personable and pleasant to talk to. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to neighbors and friends.

It was after 6:30 pm when I discovered that the kitchen sink in my in-law was backed up. After attempting to fix it myself, I realized a plumber was in order. Checked Yelp and noticed Shedrick was located nearby. I called, expecting to set up an appointment for the next day, but Shedrick was at my door in 15 min. He took one look at the plumbing and went right to work. The job ended up being a bit trickier than anticipated, but he got it done... and soldered a leaky pipe to boot. He is extremely knowledgeable, with over 20 yrs. of experience, and took the time to educate me on the pipes in my recently bought home. His price, especially considering the time and unanticipated work, was very fair. The water is flowing freely again and all is good. Thanks Shedrick!
Shedrick was the only one of 15 or so plumbers I called at 8 pm (all said they were open on yelp) who answered the phone. He was very friendly and professional and agreed to come take a look at our problem on very short notice. He even rearranged his childcare schedule to accommodate us. He arrived on time, fixed our problem quickly, and charged a reasonable price. I won't hesitate to book him again!

Had a couple of minor plumbing replacements and repairs to do in our bathroom, including removal of some corroded fixtures from a pedestal sink. Shedrick arrived within the hour and did a nice job replacing the T-stops and cleaning out the P-trap in the bathroom. On top of that, he put in a bunch of extra elbow grease in getting the old fixtures removed from the sink so I could replace them. Also, he's a nice guy. :) Thanks Shedrick.
I never thought I would be glad to have had a backed up drain but that is how I met Shredrick the Plumber and I am glad. He came, he saw, he conquered.
Quick service and a fair price make Shredrick my go to plumber. It is good to have someone you trust working in your home. Now I have someone to do those plumbing repairs I have been putting off because of a lack of confidence in the plumbers I've had contact with. Shedrick has changed all that with his expertise, efficiency, and friendly manner.

Shedrick came to my business a fitness gym and fixed my shower. During a very stressful time upon opening my business he came in fixed it and was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for plumbing services.
I wish I could give more stars. I had a broken drain pipe under my bathroom floor and I thought he was going to have to rip up most of the floor to get to the pipe.But Shedrick was able to locate the root of the problem with minimal damage to the floor(Only a few tiles). I called 3 different plumbers(with no response)from this site before finding Shedrick,and he came through. He is very professional and Didn't charge me what I expected for the job! Highly recommend!
I am so happy to have found Shedrick! He is very skilled at his work, extremely reliable and is a man of his word. Shedrick always calls when he says he will, shows up on time and gets the job done correctly. My first experience with Shedrick impressed me so much that we have used him to do two other plumbing jobs since. Shedrick came to my house to bid on installing a gas line. His bid on the job without being able to fully assess the difficulty of the work since we needed the bid quickly. When it turned out that it would take quite a bit longer than he thought to be able to get all of the way under our house and run the line he did not renig on the bid or even complain. Shedrick completed the job as planned for the amount he originally quoted and did an excellent job. On top of that his prices were reasonable and he was very easy to work with. Shedrick helped us out with a timely plumbing emergency of waste flowing back up from our showers. He was very thoughtful in the process of helping us fix our issue. There was a complicated situation he got to the bottom of and helped provide a clear detailed rundown of what occurred. Would recommend to anyone else in need!
Responded ASAP with a quote, gave very reasonable flat rate for the job, came on short notice, wore a heavy duty mask. It was my first time needing to hire a plumber and he was friendly and knowledgeable and solved the problem ASAP, and then did some testing to make sure it stayed solved. Thank you again!

Sending pics to him of the issue and he could give you a better idea of your situation which is better than most other companies.
I had only a general idea of what I needed - I wanted to rearrange my garage to make more usable space by moving the washer/dryer and water heater to different locations. I had several people come to give quotes, and they all wanted to do more work for a higher rate. Shedrick gave me more advice and options to get the project done and gave the best rate for the job. I wanted some changes during the project and Shedrick was able to work it in. I'm happy with the results and the timing of the project.

It was great to have Shedrick do the work for us. We needed an old gas line checked so PG&E could install a meter for our apartment. The line had not been used for almost 40 years. Of course, the line failed the tests. Shedrick then had to put in a new gas line up 6 floors on the outside of our building to our apartment. He arranged for the scaffolding at a reduced rate, did all the necessary plumbing, obtained the city inspection and permit, and was there when PG&E installed the meter. All was done efficiently, professionally and on time. I recommend Shedrick highly.

I guess if you want his service don't contact him via Yelp quote because even though we booked a solid appointment and I gave my address and phone number, he never showed up, never called, and didn't answer the phone when I reached out to him to see his eta. I waited an additional hour and he never showed up.
We needed a plumber to install a backflow preventer for our community garden in the Bayview, and we wanted to hire someone with ties to the neighborhood. Lucky us to find Shedrick. His price was far more reasonable than any other plumber we'd gotten a quote from, so with our funds tight, we decided to go with him.
It turned out we got every penny's worth and then some. Shedrick was the consummate professional and got the job done well and in the time he'd quoted. He was always responsive to calls, texts, and emails, and made us happy that we'd chosen him as our plumber.

It was a pleasure working with Shedrick from estimate to completion of the work. He rerouted the water pipe to the hot water-heater. They started on time and left a clean work site when the job was completed.
I just got my countertops upgraded and needed assistance with installing 2 faucets. Shedrick arrived on very short notice and provided amazing service. He brought all parts, was fast, reliable, and did an amazing job. I'm very impressed with his workmanship and excellent communication throughout.
Crisis averted! Thank goodness for Shedrick. He responded extremely fast to our emergency situation. My business was completely down and he got us up and running again. I took photos on my phone, measured the pipe that broke and its irregular fittings. I even Face-timed with him before he showed up. He was able to figure out the problem before he physically showed up to my business. When he arrived he had the right parts and a few extra incase our phone measurements were off. He quickly and neatly repaired our problem. He was reasonably priced because of how quickly he was able to fix everything.

I can't speak more highly of Shedrick & his son's expertise, experience, timeliness, professionalism, and character. My problem started after accidentally drilling into a gas pipeline in a very old SF building. After receiving multiple quotes & estimates from Yelp Quotes, Shedrick was quick to respond & explain what needed to be done to fix the problem, without charging me an arm & a leg like a few other contractors. The whole experience was easy & frictionless. More than happy to do a customer reference call for Shedrick at any time.

Imagine it is a nice holiday morning until water comes dripping down your kitchen ceiling. Needless to say we were pretty freaked out about it. But luckily, Shedrick picked up his phone immediately when we called and promised to come by a couple of hours later - on a holiday! You're our hero!
We really appreciated his calm nature and the extremely logic driven approach to diagnosis that he was very willing to explain. All in all the problem was fixed in less than an hour and we were able to enjoy the rest of this precious holiday. The price was a bit high, but we figured that might be due to the holiday/emergency situation. Thank you again!

Day after Thanksgiving our water heater broke, Shedrick responded to our Yelp request immediately. We tried to see what we could do on our own...he made recommendations on water heaters and came to do the install. He was professional, courteous and extremely helpful! Most installers wouldn't come to just do the install, but he was open to helping us in any way he could. Water Heater installed quickly given our tight maneuvering area. Would highly recommend his service -- would not hesitate to call him again!!
This is my second review for Shedrick the Plumber. It was Saturday late afternoon, I heard some water trickling but didn't think anything of it, until I walked by my bathroom and my feet got wet. My toilet tank was leaking and the water made it to the hallway soaking the carpet. I panicked and tried to turn the water off but it was stuck. I remembered Shedrick from when I had no hot water a few years ago, he installed my hot water heater and not only that, he brought me a coffee when he came because he is a kind person and knew i was stressed. This time I called him and he came within the hour.
I really appreciate him for coming whenever I call, doing an extraordinary job and his professionalism in dealing with my cheapass landlord who doesn't give a shit about her tenants. I cannot recommend him enough, he is a true professional who has an extraordinary work ethic.

Shedrick showed up within two hours of my calling him. He took a look at the leaking garbage disposal and told me the unit was defective and I should return it. He's a friendly guy, and I appreciate that he made it to my house so quickly -- and didn't charge for the visit.
