Best Gas Line Services in Oakland CA
Had a clog and AB's plumbing came to clear it took him a total of 30 minutes. He did state that the pipes where needed to be replaced. He charged me a total of $300. Which is a lot for the issue I had. Friends and the landlord are informing me it's a bit on the pricier side for a clogged drain and less then 30 minutes of work. He did unclog I just wish that he would have assessed the issue and quoted me before so I can make an informed decision on going forward with the services. Especially now that everyone is stating that I was overcharged. I learned my lesson.

I called Everest Plumbing to replace a sewer line. Tsering came out the next day to look at the property; we had an estimate that evening. 3 days later, the work was completed, the inspection done, and approved by the city. The area was kept clean. I never actually met him, but did everything by e-mail and phone. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Not only was the work great, but the price was reasonable compared with other estimates we received.

I have known Jim and Leigh for over two decades professionally and the contractor I work for has used their plumbing company almost exclusively. I only recently had cause to hire them personally for troubleshooting my hot water heater that had gone bad (State brand). Mike Maung came out and investigated the problems. He recommended considering replacing the whole unit which at first I was against as it seemed to me that the unit, only 6 years old, could be repaired at a cost less than that of replacement. As it turned out, the problems with the State hwh were terminal....bad unit, or a lemon, or both. I appreciated Mike's attempt at salvaging the unit, but am now very relieved we decided to cut bait on that piece and arranged for the installation of a new AO Smith vertex high efficiency one. Aaron came out and removed the old one, ran new venting and condensate drain and installed the new unit expertly. He was very accommodating of some personal activity that was already scheduled at my house and respectful of our needs that day. Leigh Marymor also helped me by sending only one plumber instead of the normal two for this job, as a cost cutting measure, as well as offering materials and labor rates lower than normal (friends and family). I am very appreciative of these kind gestures on his part to help keep this unexpected expense as low as possible, while maintaining his high level of professional quality work. Nicely done to all of you who helped me. I would recommend them to anyone!

If you need plumbing work done - this is the place. They give you a quote up front AND stick to it. They arrive on time and clean up after they're done. I can't say enough about their professionalism and knowledge. I'd call them again and even recommend them to my boss. An exceptional outfit.

Joe quoted me $260 over the phone and then his partner showed up and charged me $160 just to look at the job. Joe came out and charged me $660 for a job (extending a pipe for a faucet on my deck) that took much less than an hour. I complained about the charge for a simple job and he took off $100 but still charged me $660. I feel ripped off and will never use them again.

Responded within minutes late at night provided a reasonable quote immediately and scheduled an appointment for early the next day. When I was running late they were flexible and friendly. We couldn't fix the problem immediately so they worked until late in the night to get it done. Fast, friendly, affordable, easy to work with and they got the job done right!

From the time we called, Amanda had to quote to us promptly Ayer we sent photos of the old heater, it's location and passage way. Time was set for replacement and the contractor, Jordan was an excellent worker explaining things as he worked. An excellent experience.

We've used Rey and team for the last 5 years or so. From toilet installations to a recirculating tankless hot water heater. Work quality is good and any issues that have come up have been resolved promptly.
I appreciate his informal nature (scheduling via SMS, etc), but can see why some reviewers might like a more formal communications. We'll be continuing to use him in the future.

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

Excellent service. Called them and another highly rated rooter company for a sewer ejector pump that wasn't working. They came out in a timely manner and provided a competitive quote to replace the pump. Upon further examination, they found that our pump was just fine and only need a new float. They even took the pump to a local distributor to make sure it was functioning properly. They fixed the problem and lowered the price to match the work provided.

COVID-19 has been challenging in many ways - for us adults, but even more so for our kids.
Our girls have been home since March. They've had a few good days and more than a few not-so-good days. On these not-so-good days, I'm proud to say that they've mostly smiled and made adjustments - to distance learning, to limited social time with friends, to having their parents constantly around, and to spending more time with each other than they expected.
But there are some things kids should not have to compromise on. Like functioning bathroom faucets.
When my wife noticed that the faucets in the girls bathtub and sink had become quite difficult to operate, likely due to extensive use over the last eight months of sheltering-in-place, she called Valley Plumbing, a Pleasanton downtown fixture for as long as we can remember.
Logan showed up in his Valley Plumbing van within the specified two-hour time window. He took a look at what was needed and got to work, going back to the van for parts as needed. He wore a mask and shoe coverings, worked quickly, and did a stellar job, completing everything in a little over two hours. We had no complaints except a minor nit around cleanup (he left some boxes and wrappings on the counter instead of binning them).
Final bill was $480 with parts and labor, well within our do not exceed price window. Well worth it as the girls have functioning bathroom faucets again.
Pro-tip: Valley Plumbing charges a flat hourly labor fee as a minimum, and then charges in 15-minute increments. It is wise to batch several plumbing jobs and take care of any small nuisance work that may be pending, rather than call them for one-offs. We had Logan replace our garden taps in addition to the job he was originally hired for.
