These guys are awesome!
We had them come out for a garage bathroom fan vent installation and install of a couple of garage ceiling fans. They did great work, we were really impressed at the way they installed the bathroom vent and avoided cutting through the roof.
A few weeks after the fact we needed them again because we were having a new washer dryer installed and our outlet wasn't compatible. They came out right away and addressed the issue.

Brandon was recommended by our masonry company. We were in need of lighting for our backyard landscaping. It was a two-part process. His first trip out was to dig and place the wiring and conduit. The second trip out, he and his dad came and placed the lights and timer, an electrical outlet, and a timer for our pool light. Unfortunately, the timer for the pool light was defective and Brandon came out about 10 days later to replace it.

I believe Brandon's prices are fair, that he does good work, and that he has integrity. I would utilize his services again.

Brandon and his father are both professional, efficient, clean, punctual, and informative. We hired Seaway Electric to upgrade our electrical panel, roof riser, and panel grounding. He offered either an internal or external mount as an option for us to choose what we could afford. I will be hiring them again and saving their information as my preferred electricians.

We chose Brandon's bid out of 4 other bids because his bid was the most reasonable and his evaluation was sensible. He said he could get the job done in the next week, and we are happy to support a small family business.

After he was cleared by the city to get started, the job only took half a day. As soon as we approved the bid, Brandon filed the permit immediately. He completed the job in the time he predicted and the inspection was cleared by the city.

The light can came out of the 14 ft ceiling while we were trying to change the bulb. We contacted Seaway Electric through the Yelp app on a Sunday afternoon and they answered with a quote almost immediately! They asked reasonable questions and we were able to arrange for a time for them to come out and help us fairly quickly.

I am grateful for how kind and responsive they were on the app.

When they got here, they were professional and got to work fast. We did not have the correct bulbs and they ended up having to go to the hardware store to get the right ones for us. Amazing service!

I would definitely call them again for any electrical help.

This father and son duo have to be the most honest electricians I've ever met. After they fixed the issue at my house, I mentioned that other electricians recommended that I have my house rewired. He let me know that my wiring and everything was fine and from his assessment and personal perspective, no need to fix what's not broken....especially since the wiring and electricity had been running perfectly fine for over 30 years.

He gave me some examples of why it wasn't necessary which I truly appreciated. They didn't try to upsell me on anything unlike previous electricians I've had over in the past.

I believe honest businesses will prosper over these other money hungry guys I've dealt with. It's so funny because I can smell an upsell from a mile away since I have over 10 years background in marketing.

Honesty goes a long way and these guys have it. I 100% recommend them for any electrical work needed.

I am so glad I chose Brandon to upgrade my electrical panel. I am the type who over-researches and reads all reviews spending hours and hours, before hiring anyone. Before contacting Brandon I already had 7 quotes from all 5-star companies so I thought I had more than enough to choose from, but because of a little mishap that happened in the beginning (see my previous reviews) I felt bad so I decided to get the last quote from him.

Well, I ended up hiring him and it was the best decision I could have made. Like all the reviews, he and his father were very professional, punctual, and provided A+++ work. All his excellent work comes with the most reasonable rate too.
I especially liked how he and his father are genuinely really good people with the highest integrity, which is really hard to find in independent contractors.
Most are out to get the most money from you, trying to charge extra for every little thing, but not him. It took him longer than expected due to some wiring issues he found when he opened up my old panel, but he did what needs to be done and honored his quote.

Also, his communication was excellent as he lets me know what to expect, when to expect, etc with his work and getting a permit & inspection.
Lastly, he was able to provide a power cable to use for my internet so that I can still work at home. So thankful!

I can go on and on, but honestly, I think I found my perfect electrician. Don't hesitate to contact him. I am sure you will find my review all true.

First and foremost, Brandon is the ideal electrician.

1) Most of us don't know the technical aspects of how our home is wired, but he is able to explain it in a way that is understandable for anyone.
2) He is also very thorough and meticulous and has set a very high standard for himself. He does the job right and REFUSES TO TAKE SHORTCUTS.

So I spoke with several electricians to do 2 jobs- an electric panel upgrade and an EV charging station. Of the 4 that I spoke with, Brandon was the only one that took the time to explain everything and give me my options (a Nema 1450 is cheaper than the Tesla charger and charging time difference is negligible). And his rate is very reasonable so I ended up choosing Seaway Electric.

Brandon and his dad took the day to upgrade the electric panel and the job was done really well. He went above and beyond when he insisted that he be present when the inspector came to approve the upgrade. We were given a window of 9am-12pm. Brandon's dad showed up at 820am and Brandon showed up a short while later...waiting for the inspector. To no one's surprise, the inspector showed up just before 12. Typical. So just to reiterate- Brandon and his dad waited for the inspector for nearly 3 hours because they wanted to be there in case the inspector had any questions or concerns. I think this is a perfect example of the type of character you are getting when you hire Brandon.

In the end, Brandon's presence actually helped out because the inspector wanted to give me a hard time about my home (unrelated to the electrical work that Brandon did). I'm glad he was there to back me up.

I began with a simple electric panel upgrade and EV install, but in the process, I found an electrician I can trust for all future work on my home. Thanks Brandon!

They came(two of them) Brandon and his Father, around 7:50am. We talked with Brandon two weeks ago about our electric problems in our house. Their professional experience and pin pints inspections resolved our electric issues and they fixed them. In addition, my wife asked them to replace two old dim switch to new ones. They also have it done after got two switches.

Would highly recommend this business for electrical needs. Had to move an EV charger position and was not an easy job as it had several curves around the house walls and over gutter drains. We hired Seaway Electric to install two motion activated outside lights, connect outside outlets on our pergola, change a light switch to an outlet in our laundry room as well as install two new ceiling fixtures. Some of these were bigger jobs, and some smaller and all were completed in a timely manner, and very reasonably priced. Theirs is a family business and Brandon and his dad Jim arrived on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up after it all was completed. I reached out to Seaway Electric on Yelp for quotes for immediate and future items. Brandon was so quick to respond and make time to come by. We had gotten other quotes that were much higher just for an estimate even if no work was done ($150 consultation).

We had installed a smart doorbell but it was cutting in and out due to an old transformer. He was able to quickly change it (even with the old wiring). The chime also wasn't functioning and he took a look at that for us too. He changed exactly as he quoted even though he went above and beyond to take a look at something else for us.

We will definitely be calling Seaway Electric for all our needs.

We needed an electrical panel upgrade badly! Our breakers would often trip when running our room air conditioners or even the microwave. Initially we were going to go with an electrician friend we knew who wasn't available right away so we went with Jim and Brandon at Seaway Electric. We could not have been more pleased. Had an issue with my electrical, had multiple people come out to see what was happening. Many were perplexed, and Brandon from Seaway came out as well. After talking with many people I decided to go with Seaway and I am 100% glad I did, Brandon and his father worked and bounced ideas off each other for this puzzle, some options I heard from others was to rewire, open up walls and look around. Brandon tried to find the simplest solution first and lucky for me he found it. Cleaned things up and I am back to normal thanks to him. Cost was way way cheaper then going the long route and he was easy to work with and helped explain what was going on along the way so I knew what was happening.
I know for sure for all future work who I am calling, it's Brandon for sure. He is someone you can trust is doing what is needed and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing quality honest electrical work done.

Got so lucky finding these two! I had a Tesla charging adapter that needed to be installed onto my home wall and wired in. Brandon is the best!

He's knowledgeable, professional, nice, and patient. He is a great electrician who fixed problems across our house that 2 other electricians couldn't fix--and best of all he did it at a great rate!

The power to our kitchen, garage, and den all went out just before Christmas. We reached out to another electrician who couldn't fix it and actually caused more problems (unknown to us) by leaving behind wires disconnected inside a junction box in the attic. Another one stated it was a problem SCE had to fix and charged us a lot just to show up for 10mins.

Thankfully we came across Seaway Electric. Brandon was able to get our kitchen and laundry room back online quickly and safely, and then spent time on the hunt in our attic to get the outlets and lights in our den to work. He was able to find the problem and safely fix it, bringing our house back online.

He answered our questions along the way, explained the problems/his solutions to help educate us, and he had a lot of patience working with our wiring--it's an old house and the previous owners must have done a lot of DIY work.

I highly recommend working with Brandon at Seaway Electric for any of your electrical needs. We now know our go-to electrician and we are very thankful for that! He should be yours too!!

They fixed a complicated wiring issue that knocked out power to four rooms in our house. House is kind of old and wiring is old too. They were able to troubleshoot the issue and fix it. After upgrading our electrical panel we noticed that our outlets were not grounded. The thought of having our new appliances at risk and even worse - a potentially dangerous wiring system present in our house worried us. We contacted Seaway Electric and they were up to the task of rewiring our house. I needed to install 4 Ring Floodlight cameras around the house and a Ring Doorbell Pro. He gave me a really good price for the project so I decided to give em a chance. I was surprised to find out that it was a father and son team. Jim came over the day before to get an idea on where I wanted to install the cameras and what materials he'll need for the job. The next day Jim and his son Brandon got all 4 cameras installed just the way I wanted it. Unfortunately they couldn't get the doorbell done the same day due to the doorbell chime wiring being in bad shape and they were understandably exhausted from all that work. So they came back the next day and got it done within an hour. I highly recommend Seaway Electric.

I honestly don't think a review here can do justice to describe how professional and overall great Brandon and his dad were. Brandon showed up to my home within 30 minutes of me calling him. He took a look at my breaker box and figured out all the possible issues right away. He was honest in his work and his recommendations as far as what needed to be changed and whether it was urgent or not. He gave me a quote, he went to Home Depot to get the part, did a perfect job in the time he estimated. I would 100% recommend Seaway Electric!

Brandon, was professional and reasonably priced. I have been searching for an electrician for over a year. I needed my ring hardwire to my outdated door bell, and my lights in the garage replaced. I was told I had to buy all new lights by other electricians. Brandon SAVED me over 400.00, he replaced the ballast in the 5 light fixtures and put in new light bulbs. He's good and honest, I have already schedule him for future projects.

I'd requested quotes from a few Yelp-enabled electricians. I needed to have a garage circuit split up from our main electrical service, and put on its own breaker. When Brandon came over, he looked at the situation further, and recommended that I put in a sub-panel into our garage to power that circuit. It was more than I wanted to pay at the time, but in the end, I knew that it was the right thing to do. Brandon *REALLY* worked with me on price, and got it way lower than the competition.

Brandon came by as scheduled to do the work, and completed the majority of it as promised until he ended up with a circuit which'd alway ground out and trip the breaker when one of our appliances was connected. After hours of consternation, Brandon called it a day, leaving our electricity working partially, and promised to come back the next business day to take care of it. This was all happening in the garage, so it wasn't a time-critical thing. Brandon managed to make time in his day to come by on Sunday to sort out the problem. Turns out the previous owner had horribly wired one of the junction boxes, reversed polarity, and grounded out the wrong wire. Brandon found the problem, fixed it, and made it so that we wouldn't have to deal with it in the future. All this, and he only asked his original quote - many hours of extra time were put in, trying to figure out the hornet's nest of the previous circuit.

Brandon was timely, sincere, and cared about the quality of his work. We'll absolutely be using him again when we tackle the other parts of the house (which are wired just as badly).

Our power went out in the kitchen and the garage just before Christmas and we had two electrician come in but one made things worse, and the other one came in for 10 minutes and charged us almost $300 just to tell us that our meter is broke and we had to call our electricity company. However, that didn't fix everything.

So I requested quotes from a few different electricians in the area and Brandon was the first to respond (within a few minutes) and he was able to come in a couple days later.

From the moment he came in, he was very professional and figured out the problem VERY quickly (the other two electricians either couldn't figure out the problem or didn't even bother to check everything). He fixed everything within a couple hours and now our power in the kitchen and the garage is working 100%! He is very affordable and does the best job! He is going to be our electrician from now on, and I highly recommend him! Don't even waste time getting quotes from other electricians!!!

Brandon installed ceiling fans in both master and guest bedrooms. Not an easy job as they are both open beam. He had to do some time in the attic on a hot day. Both fans look great and were completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. We will use Brandon again for any future work and highly recommend him.

Brandon Davis installed our landscape lighting. He did a professional job in one day at the price he quoted. He showed up on time and the area was clean when he was done, no mess. More importantly, when there were issues later on with the lighting (due to equipment, not installation) he came back out to remedy the situation, no hassle. I wanted someone who was C-10 certified and after reading the reviews, I decided to hire Brandon. He came along with his dad Jim to install a NEMA 1450 Level 2 outlet for me to charge my electric car at home. The father and son team went to work promptly and finished the job in half a day even though the main electrical panel was a good distance from my garage They were courteous and I would hire them again for future electrical needs. I am thoroughly satisfied with the work Brandon performed for me. He was able to backtrack several circuits to identify the cause for lack of power in my recently remodeled patio BBQ Island. He installed 2 new duplex outlets in the island, ran new wiring under the slab, rerouted the circuits from the house and cleaned up some old wiring problems from the past. He showed up for work on time, came back when scheduled, returned my phone calls and is clearly a very talented electrician. His rates are fair and reasonable and he's a great guy to work with. I will definitely be working with him again. I recommend him highly.

Brandon initially installed the electrical for an outside fountain but what makes him outstanding is his responsiveness to a later need at my church. I was tasked to add monitors to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church's sanctuary in Long Beach. The installer needed additional plugs and did not do electrical.
