Called out Primo Plumbing & Heathing as I found a major water leak under my house this morning. Tom came out within 1 hour and found two leaks. One major leak near the sink and another leak further down the pipe. He said he could fix it today and got right to work. His pricing was reasonable and I'm glad I called him out to fix the leak.     He is a local plumber in long beach and I would highly recommend his company. There is nothing better then having the owner come out and do the work himself as you know it will get done right.

Jordan was nice, professional and quick to respond  when setting up the appt. Gilbert was sent and he is a PRIMO plumber in that he was extremely knowledgeable and a great communicator. While they could not fix my issue - not their fault - they did diagnose it well and followed up with proper paperwork to submit to my landlord. I will be using PRIMO for all my future plumbing needs!

Just my luck, my plumbing problems always happen at night or on the weekend, but Primo is always willing to come out and assess the issue. If they can't fix the problem right away, they will offer a temporary solution until they can return the next day to complete the job. And if they can't fix they problem at all, they will be straight forward and tell you what your options are and won't pressure you into choices. I have had them come out for busted pipes, broken valves and clogged drains and I'm very satisfied with their work. After the first time they came out, I knew they would continue to get my business. When you call, you are connected to a voice mail, but the owner Tom will promptly return your call and give you a time frame in which someone will be on site. If it's not Tom who comes out, it's one of his reliable plumbers. Primo is honest, experienced, and  is very affordable. They won't BS you with information or estimate of costs. I don't believe the person who gave the 1 star review. Even when I asked, Tom didn't and would not charge me a penny for coming out in the evening on a Saturday to check out a problem he ultimately couldn't fix. No less than 5 stars for Primo Plumbing & Heating Inc.

I had Primo Plumbing come out for my washer drain to be snaked.I had a major clog (I think a rock) I snaked the drain myself a few times before they came out, to no avail... Primo worked on it, and worked on it some more, just when it looked like worse case scenario like bust open the wall because nothing was working..... I hear I GOT IT! I'm telling you, total music to my ears!! Thank you Primo for not giving up, and having total tenacity to get the job done! I will be using Primo from now on, and I will refer them to all my buyers and sellers. I am a local Realtor for Keller Williams, Pamela Winner-Go With A Winner (Shameless plug) no pun intended.. ;)

We have used Tom at Primo Plumbing for more than 15 years and could not be happier with his service. We recently had an under-the-slab water line leak on a Saturday. Tom and his son came and installed a by-pass within a couple of hours.  Great service again!

We needed a few outdoor bibs replaced & were referred to Primo. They were easy to contact and schedule a service call. Jordan was our technician. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The job was completed quickly and efficiently and their pricing is both fair and reasonable. We would use them again without hesitation. Even better this is a multi- generation family business.

My sink in the kitchen had pipes that were 80 years old and were leaking.  I called Primo Plumbing and my former student Jordan came to my rescue and was able to replace the problem with all new pipes.  He was on time and friendly and advised me the do's and don'ts for my new pipes moving forward.  I will use this company for any future problems and I recommend this company to anyone!!!!

Jordan is professional, communicative, kind, neat, hard-working and a pleasure to be around.  We has replaced a toilet and a sink for me.  We needed a new water heater and he referred me to a company that sold and installed water heaters as that was a better option for me.  His prices are very reasonable.

I called on Monday night and we discussed that it wasn't an emergency (which saved me a lot of money), and they came out the next morning at 8am. My toilet was backing up into the bathtub drain when flushed and so they snaked thru the clean out on the side of the house and everything perfect after that.

Jordan came by on time and snaked my kitchen sink. He unclogged the drain, cleaned up was gone in about an hour.

It's very difficult to find a plumber or any contractor without worry of getting ripped off or overpaying.  I'm the worst. I  always get 3 estimates and scrutinize every decision but I never have to with plumbing.  Been using primo for over a decade and have the confidence where what ever he says it cost is what it costs.  Fair and trustworthy is all you can ask for and they deliver.  Used to work with Tom and now working with his son Jordan is just fantastic.  If you need plumbing this is the go to company.

I needed to replace my laundry drain pipe and remove old water heater pipes that were in the way. Tom and Jordan came out and did a fantastic job of replacing and removing all the pipes. He's punctual, respects people's property, courteous and cleaned the area after the job. Thanks for your fantastic service!!! I can't wait to refer him to my friends and neighbors. To anyone reading this review, please understand that this man has over 30 years of hands-on experience in plumbing. If you need a great plumber then call Tom.

I've worked with Tom and Jordan at both my current place, where they did a great job as part of our remodel, as well as my last home where they performed general repairs (new disposal...) and clean outs.  They've always been professional and charged a fair price.  Highly recommend them.

Jordan was incredibly helpful and very quick to respond to my call. I had no idea what was wrong with my water heater and he was quick to diagnose the problem and didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. Primo is family run and you can tell in the way they answer their calls and respond to requests. Service is to the point and very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs heating and plumbing and I'll be calling again for any future services.

Thank you to Primo Plumbing's plumber Jordan.  Who after my shower handles mechanism blew out, was able to come out the same day and replace it by 4pm. Now that's service and it was at a reasonable price.

Tom is truly a gifted plumber! We had a smell in our guest room which we thought was a water leak. Tom took the time to look everywhere and found a dangerous gas leak. He fixed it perfectly for my mothers visit that night! We would never use anyone else for plumbing!

As always Primo came thru and got the clog fixed.    Always fast clean and reliable.  If you need a plumber to trust then you have found it.

We've been relying on Primo's for over 10 years for issues big and small: installing a clean out drain, annual root rooting, dishwasher installation, and recently a poorly flushing toilet.  Tom, his son, and Gilbert are friendly, professional, and do a great job.

I don't know who would give this place more than one star. Even a star is a too much.

Here is why I am only giving one star:

I called for a very easy job; replacing the toilet kit. Only because it was a weekend, they wanted to charge so much money. I was okay with that, but then they say oh there is a $75 dollar charge just to get there and then it is one hour minimum and they can't gyuarantee that they can replace a tiolet plastic kit in less than an hour.

I said I would call him back, and he started saying no you can't call back..call a friend or something. Who turns down business like this? What a scam..I can't have them come here and give me an estimate? They want to charge me $150 minimum without even fixing the problem.

I called other places that actually sent someone who will charge nothing to go to your place, look at the problem, and give you an estimate.

Do yourself a favor and find a different place.

Our water heater died On a Wednesday afternoon leaving us with no hot water. It was old and leaking and needed to be replaced. Made a call to Primo Plumbing, Jordan told me he could be at the house first thing the next morning. Jordan and Chris showed up on time with new water heater and everything else that was needed to complete the job. They did the job in a timely manner, hauled old heater away and cleaned up whatever was needed. I will definitely call Primo Plumbing again for further plumbing needs.

Woo hoo!  Another drain cleared today!  I swear, the snake thing they use is pretty damn amazing.  I called them last night and the plumber came first thing this morning.  He even brought his own mat to sit on and was very polite and professional.

Within 10 minutes he pulled a hairball the size of a large guinea pig out of our shower drain.  Disgusting, but awesome.

My husband went to get a plastic bag to throw it away, but the plumber just turned his glove inside out and took it with him.  OK, kind of creepy, but cool that he didn't want to leave us with a mess.

They charge $75/hr and $150/hr on Sundays.  An extra $10 to use that snake thingy that looks like a large drill.  I wonder how much those cost.  They've probably made their money back 100x over with that amazing thing.  :)

I recommended them to my condo's homeowner's association and I've seen their trucks outside of our building several times.  It makes me happy to see that the HOA has been recommending them to other homeowners in our complex.

They don't take credit cards - cash or check only.

Oh, and they're the only plumbers on Yelp that will actually call you back.  Love these guys.

This company worked on both my neighbor's houses so I reached our for a toilet that needed replacing.
They went out of their way to find the model type I needed ( a space saving, comfort height with a round bowl) .
They were communicative, efficient and affordable on short notice.
I highly recommend. Gilbert was my tech and Jordan did all the behind the scenes work.

Chris was dispatched to install new dishwasher and hook up gas for new range. He was on time, in uniform,
Identified himself and was extremely polite.  Went right to work, had to troubleshoot some fitment issues, noticed some issues from previous plumber's janky work and ask if he could correct them
He put down work pads at both the entrance to the home and in the work area. Did an very professional installation advising us as he progressed. Tested everything for leaks and then cleaned up after himself taking the trash generated with him

We recently found ourselves losing sleep at night due to an unremitting drip-drop-drip from the shower in our master bathroom. Time to call a plumber, but who?

Primo Plumbing came recommended to us by a member of our HOA, and we're so lucky it was. Tom was fast and easy to deal with while arranging the service and gave us a very fair quote for the work. Our plumber Jordan arrived on-time, knew exactly what to do, and was super friendly and courteous throughout the repair.

Primo Plumbing made things easy, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the area in need of plumbing services.

My tenant in an upstairs condo unit in Downtown LB called this evening to say that it sounded as if there was water running when the faucets weren't on and that the downstairs neighbor had called to say that water was streaming into his bedroom. Tom, who owns Primo Plumbing, was not on call tonight but he came anyway because his on call plumber was about 45 minutes away. (He must have heard the desperation in my voice.) He actually got there before I did. Thankfully, by that time, two take-charge tenants had turned off the water at the water heater. Tom was then able to break into the wall where the leak had originated and fix it in short order so that everyone in the complex had to go without water for only an hour or so. Tom is neat, courteous and efficient and, given the late hour, very reasonably priced! You can't beat an independently owned company whose owner will forego dinner to take care of an emergency!

I needed some minor fixes to my kitchen and bathroom faucets, along with a general inspection of my plumbing underneath my house (I have a raised foundation in my home) just to make sure that the pipes are in good condition.  Jordan of Primo Plumbing arrived and fixed all of my minor problems and conducted an inspection of my plumbing, and did a great job.  This is a good, old-fashioned family-owned business that has been in business for a long time (you hardly see that anymore nowadays).  I have used them a few times in the nearly 20 years that I've lived in my home.  They are fantastic, knowledgeable and professional.  And their prices are reasonable, especially considering that EVERYTHING nowadays has gone up in price.  I very strongly recommend this plumbing business.

I discovered I had a leak in a shut off valve on one of our toilets. I called Primo P&H and asked if they had someone who could come out to repair it. I forget the lady's name who answered my call but she was very polite and said she would check and give me call right back. I received a call about 15 minutes later and Jordan said he could be over in about an hour. Jordan showed up as promised and was very polite professional and was wearing a clean uniform. I
He went into the bathroom and had the problem resolved in less then 1/2 hour . It's good to know there are still good, honest polite and professional plumber still around.

Absolutely the best plumbing business you could ever use!! We have used them for years they always make your job a top priority. They are on time clean and courteous every time they come. Jordan is amazing he can fix any problem you have. I highly recommend using this plumber you will definitely not be disappointed.

Not sure why they even bother to advertise themselves as plumbers, doing remodel of bathrooms an kitchen so quite a bit of work, came out to look at job an said I would have a bid by the weekend, never happened.  That was 10 days ago, if a job is more than you want to do say so, I would have more respect for you if you had done that instead of just ignoring me an hoping I would go away.  A simple call would of been appreciated.

I have found my go to plumber!  After doing all I could think of to fix my toilet, I called Primo. The owner's son Jordan came out and I could not be more pleased with his service.  He took time to answer all my questions, was super nice, did a great job, and the price was less than I was expecting.  It always sucks to need a plumber, but Jordan made the experience as pleasant as possible. On thanksgiving weekend, they came out on a same day request
which was so kind of them. My faucet flow was extremely slow and they cleaned it out. They charge flat rate per hour plus supplies.

VERY quick emergency service, even late on a Sunday evening. Our guest bathroom shower faucet was leaking, and the Moen cartridge was so badly rusted it was frozen in the valve and could not be removed. What looked like a simple do-it-yourself homeowner repair turned into a total disaster. After calling several 24hr plumbers in our area, we found Primo. Operator was attentive and I got a call back from the plumber on call, Tom, within minutes. In fact, he arrived within 30mins of the initial call and solved the problem without any major surgery, as we had feared. Service was top notch, and Tom was knowledgable very courteous. We were happy to pay the late night service fee, as we could not be without water to the entire house for long. We are very satisfied customers and will definitely use Primo again for our plumbing needs. Highly recommended - Fantastic!
