Mr. Rooter plumbing kept very good communication with us and let us know they'll try their best to send someone out to us ASAP. They were able to send Korin (an employee) who shortly became available for our needs. Korin got the job done in a timely manner and fixed our leak. This has been a wonderful experience. Yes, it was expensive but way less than it could have been. My rep was Gabriel Robles. He was VERY respectful. Lots of yes ma'ams and no ma'ams; which I really appreciated. He was patient, attentive and professional. He even did clean up on the nastiest gunk that came out of my shower that looked like tar, once the hydro wash was completed. He went above and beyond the scope of his work and did an amazing job of cleaning it all up without hesitation. People don't do that kind of service anymore. I have already told four coworkers about my amazing experience and thought I would share it with the masses. I am a very happy customer!

Thank you so much for coming to my rescue. Came home on Thursday night to a clogged toilet that was backing up into the garage. What a mess! Jessica was so pleasant and helpful on the phone. Got Richard out in no time, who was then able to get someone else out to run the hydro jet since snaking alone didn't work. I appreciate the great customer service from beginning to end. Although it was under smelly and expensive circumstances, I enjoyed meeting and chatting with Richard...such a nice young man.

Terrible Service- Yes, it was a holiday weekend, but when someone tells you that they will be working the following day and that someone would call between the hours of 8 and noon, you would expect a call. Not I this case. After waiting all day and several calls with no answer, I called Ballard Plumbing. They took care of the problem right away. In the future, I will call Ballard for all my service.

We contacted Mr. Rooter plumbing for a leak we had in the kitchen. It turned out to be a bigger job than expected that would be costly. Long story short the leak issue was fixed but another issue arose from assurances that were made regarding insurance. Jose the manager heard what happened to us as a result and was willing to lend a helping hand. He was able to empathize with our situation and got the issue resolved while keeping in contact with us through the whole process. Jose is a great manager and we are very thankful to Mr. Rooter plumbing for their service.

So I had a pretty bad backup in my shower..thinking I'm a plumber with a plunger I plunged the shower.... the toilet... the second toilet the second shower and only managed to make a mess of my bathrooms with water everywhere...decided I'm not the man for the job and Called Mr. Rooter for a house call....and a couple minutes later I get a call from BRETT from Mr. Rooter and let me know he was on his way.......30 min. After the initial call BRETT was already here. Unfortunately my problem was not just a simple drain back up.... it was my MAIN line backing up. After he explained to me what the issue was and quoted me.... they got to work right away and had everything back to normal in no time. Awesome Job BRETT and his helper Michael I think that was his name.... They are Courteous, Professional and Honest.... not to mention the FREE drain inspection with a camera to make sure the blockage is cleared and not just tell you but actually show you the drain and any problems with. Need plumbing in the IE?.... call these guys and ask for BRETT.

Gabriel came promptly. He assessed the problem and gave me a truthful answer. He told me my dishwasher was hooked up wrong. I was not surprised given the prior owners. He told me he could fix it but there might also be other complications. I appreciated his honesty so I could make an informed decision. No charge for him coming out. 3 clogged sinks and the holidays right around the corner! Our regular plumber was not available so we called Mr. Rooter of SB. The receptionist was super friendly and got us a technician within 30 minutes. Santiago was very professional and took the time to explain what was causing the clog. He used a camera with the snake so we were able to see buildup and roots. Problem solved within 1.5 hours of us calling, and we have recommendations for future maintenance of our septic system. 5 star service all the way.

Had a what I thought was a minor plumbing problem so I was referred this company.
Upon calling I was given an estimated time of 30 minutes which was great since it was a same day situation.
Robert and Frank both arrived promptly and introduced themselves by name.
Once inside, Robert told me everything he needed to do as far as inspection which gave me the power to decide whether to go through with it or just go a different direction. While inspecting the damage, he told me what had most likely caused it and my options; again making feel at ease and comfortable.
Once I decided what I was going to do, they both got right to work and didn't linger around with what needed to be done. As the job progressed they keep me in the loop and let me know what was happening. Once the job was done, I was pleased and happy with the service provided and would recommend this company, more directly Frank and Robert to do get the job done for you.
Didn't have to sit around all day since they were done within a few hours which was great for me! Service appreciated and recommended!

The gas company shut off the gas to my house as I had a gas leak. I called Mr rooter at 6:00pm, after work, and they sent a tech to my house within 15 mins!! The tech Frank was a very professional and a very nice guy. He informed of the diagnosis price and that they will be back in the morning as nothing can be done at night, which is logical. Frank came back the next day with another tech named Wesley. They had my house gas leak free by the end of the day. They stayed until the gas man came, and okayed the gas to be turned on in the home. Super awesome company!

This is my second time using Mr. Rooter and webwere once again very pleased! Our small 2 bathroom home had both toilets backed up and Mr. rooter sent someone in under 30 minutes. They addressed the problem quickly and gave us a comfortable warranty. Jason the manager came out also to show us the video of the cause of our pipe blockage and was personable, friendly and educational. I'm actually an only daughter and first time home owner and after the Mr. Rooter team left I called my pops (who has been in construction for 40+ years) to simply go over everything that was stated. Initially, my pops had questions (as I am not familiar with plumbing and didn't articulate correctly all that occurred) and my dad took it upon himself to address his concerns and call! Admittedly, my dad is not always an easy one to please but he was instantly put at ease and felt reassured that we had the best service and the work provided was honest, reasonable and professional. And Jason, if you're reading this I TOLD MY DAD NOT TO CALL, HE INSISTED! We thought you guys did a great job but you know dad's, he needed his own validation.

Gabriel came out to our house, he was on time and very professional. After a few minutes he was able to figure out our plumbing issue and explained it to us. We had roots from our trees in our pipes. Mr. Rooter scheduled me an appointment at almost 8pm, no after hours fee at all.
When my technician (Matt) arrived, I met him outside & asked he was opposed to dogs, as I have a very friendly 75lb pit bull, Matt informed me that he loves dogs & that I didn't need to put dog away.
After gaining approval from my dog, Matt proceeded to diagnose the problem & give me an estimate, the estimate was a little more than I anticipated, so Matt asked if he could call his manager to see if a lower rate was available. Matt returned with an estimate that was workable, so I agreed & Matt did the job in a timely manner with extra emphasis on quality of workmanship.
Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the service, price & professionalism that Matt displayed & will not hesitate to call Mr. Rooter for any & all plumbing needs in the future & I will also make certain to request Matt as my technician.

We had an issue with water back-up in our shower and toilets bubbling. We called last Monday afternoon and made an appointment for Tuesday March 23rd between 12 and 2 p.m. They never called and NEVER showed! Really unprofessional in my opinion. Definitely would not recommend. A phone call would have made a huge difference, as we waited all the rest of the day hoping they were just running behind.

I had major plumbing issues resulting in loss of water pressure in addition to black and brown water. Before calling Mr. Rooter I had called another plumber. That plumbers analysis did not make much sense to me thus I called Mr. Rooter.

Mr. Rooter sent me Jared. He paid attention to all the details of the problems being explained to him. He proceeded to inform me as to what he thought the problems were and were not and gave me step by step solutions and cost details thus I proceeded to book him. He took care of the plumbing issues and just as important he was punctual, customer service oriented, and very neat.

Quick and friendly service Probably good for small and after hours jobs However, they hydrojetted my kitchen drain pipes for 1100 dollars? it is just high pressure water. Obviously too high of pressure (4500 psi) because they then told me rocks and dirt was coming out indicating a hole If they ran a camera first they would have seen a problem. Then they quoted me 8k plus to repair and tear up kitchen floor (which I will have to replace ) or a reroute costing 15k plus Their business model is an emergency upsell business model where the reps make commission A lot of large companies work this way. They say The quote is only good for one day Really? At those prices your quote should be good for 10 years ! You will still make a huge profit

I called these guys first thing the morning on Friday because the shower kept backing up. I figured it would be a simple snake job or whatever. Turns out, I had a long piece of piping that had shattered. Robert spent the whole day and evening trying to diagnose and fixing the problem. He had Wesley come out with the camera, at NO extra charge, to see just where exactly the problem was. Once the problem was located, Robert and Devin were very quick, clean, and professional in their handling of my landscaping as they had to dig into the ground to fix the pipe. Now that all the repairs are done, everything is back to normal. They also were able to work with me financially, as they were very understanding of my current financial situation. I am VERY happy with the service and professionalism of Wesley, Robert, Devin & the whole Mr. Rooter team. They arrived within an hour of calling them first thing in the morning. They were courteous. They were clean. They were time efficient. They worked around MY financial situation. What more could I ask for? 5 Stars.

Please please please don't go to Mr.Rooter, I made the mistake of calling them first and the guy Robert That came out I could tell he was full of it. he wanted to charge me 245 to remove 1/4inch of stucco from the drain cap on the side of my kitchen so he can have access to it and 675 for hydrojetting the kitchen drain, and who knows how much to open up the wall and maybe break up some concrete to find the leak. I thought I needed a second opinion so I called Fred from Fred and sons plumbing he came out and told me it was clogged and the cap was loose that's why it was leaking, it's not clogged anymore and he tightened the cap, Fred and Juan stayed and made sure nothing was leaking, they were very thorough, Fred said no charge because just the cap on the drain was loose, I don't know how much money Fred saved me from but he now has a customer for life and I will recommend him and Juan to anyone needing a Plummer.

Quick and friendly service. Last night my 2 year shoved a toy in the toilet and it got stuck in the pee trap. I called Mr. Rooter first thing in the morning so in order to get this problem resolved. They were at my home in less than 20 mins from the time I called. When they got here they worked quickly, and CLEANLY, which was impressive because the entire toilet had to be removed and replaced. When they were done the bathroom looked untouched, you would never know that anyone had done any work in there. We will definitely used this company again.

Just had an unexpected plumbing situation, Ugh! I think we can agree that it's never a good time to have an unexpected plumbing problem.... it can be overwhelming, expensive and stressful. However, if you find yourself in a situation that requires plumbing assistance, do yourself a favor and call these guys. It was a pricey fix but I feel like it could have been a lot worse. At no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of or misguided. They were confident in the information they were delivering and rather than telling me what the problems were...they showed me what the problems were...every step of the way.
Rarely do my husband and I post reviews....but we thought that this time it was important to share our experience because our experience was just that exceptional. We would like to specifically recognize Jarod M. at Mr. Rooter of San Bernardino. Jarod is reliable, hardworking, flexible, kind, diligent, and is easy to communicate with. Our pipes bursted on the weekend. I knew it was going to cost a lot to have a plumber come out on the weekend. I looked up Yelp and called Mr. Rooter. They sent out Gabriel and Bobby the next day (Sunday). They were both very knowledgeable. The price was very fair. The next day Jason came out to do a leak inspection and was also very knowledgeable. Jeremy Hernandez was the service professional that helped me. He went above and beyond to help me with my toilet that was backed up from a months worth of baby wipes. He made sure that he got everything he could out of the pipes before he left. He also did a few test runs with the toilet and shower just to make sure he didn't leave without clearing everything. Great customer service !! I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs basic plumbing services !!!

I have had a couple plumbing services before but this was the worst experience. While trying to remove the wax from pipe of the toilet opening they broke off the flange. Instead of fixing what they broke off they told me it would be $1200 to fix it. Ridiculous. I have heard of plumbers price gouging customers in need but I have never experienced it first hand. Broke my flange and wanted to charge me a crazy price to replace it. Makes no sense. I would not recommend this place at all. Be cautious who you have come to your home, some will try to take advantage of you when you are in need.

Wanted to add this since José is so smart.

First off you guys made an appointment and didn't have the professionalism to let me know that you would not show up. I took time off work to get this repair started. I had to call back and then you finally sent your smug employee. Now I know where he gets that From. Must be your son José.

Second there was never a written quote only a verbal quote. The ball valve was not part of the 4 foot pipe that I needed replacing quote. When I asked Mr. Smug he said these is no way I am going to touch that pipe. And said he wanted another 900.00 to replace only that pipe. Yes it was old but It was easily removed by C&E plumbing at a fair cost.

Jose and his band of overrechargers will rip you off. Not just the ladies as I recently reviewed about Mr. Rooter

I was told by your smug technician that you guys are the biggest and best almost trying to make me feel like no one is better. LOL

You guys are full of it.

Do yourself a favor and don't call out for their free estimates as they will be charging for the days estimates if you are foolish enough to have them do work for you.

I am 100% unsatisfied with Mr. Rooter and of course José. Horrible leaders lead to horrible unscrupulous employees.

PLEASE Call anyone else.

Extremely pleased with the service from Jose Torres. Had a clogged shower drain and Jose did everything he could to not only clear the drain but also took a look at the pipes (underneath the house) to further assess the issue come to find we had a leak that would need to be fixed. Extremely nice, informative, and really knew what he was doing. He really went out of his way in checking everything. I had two corn on the cobb holders go into our garbage disposal and broke into pieces. There were four metel pieces that broke apart and got wedged in the disposal. I managed to get 3 pieces out, but the last one was wedged in a hole and we couldn't loosen it. We called Mr. Rooter and Gabrielle Robles spent 30 min getting it loose enough to get out. He was very polite, clean and was professional. I found out that they also go to homes in the evening and Saturday's and Sundays with no extra charge. I would highly Reccommend Mr. Rooter.

What a Company! What a Service!
Saw them at the top of Yelps Plumbing Companies and they had a special on snaking out backed up drains. Called them first thing on a Monday morning for a really bad plugged up Kitchen Drain, that had been giving us problems for months. Customer Service rep said that she would get with her Technicians and give me a call back shortly. Which she did.
It was scheduled for a few hours later, and the Team (Vincent & Jared) arrived on time. They snaked it twice, since it was so bad and just like that, it was completed within 20 minutes.
Absolutely impressed with the young men that serviced our House. I've been in Construction for over 30 years and I know how rare that it is to find a sub or Vendor who'll do what he says, at the quoted price, AND DO A GREAT JOB!!!
Would HIGHLY recommend these guys and will use their Service for all my Plumbing needs.

I am SO impressed! Juan Alberto and his assistant, Kyle Shnyder, from San Bernardino's Mr. Rooter Plumbing, showed up on time to put in a new faucet in my kitcehn. They were very clear about the scope of the work, finished in record time, and gave me a discount. IThey are personable, work is clean, and they answered all of my questions. I don't normally go with a chain for work around the house BUT these guys were amazing! You'll want to request them from Carmen, who is the company's dispatcher, and she just makes it happen.

Thought I was getting good service and then realized I was over charged for a half done job! After Mr Rooter came to fix a leak in my shower I had the remodel company start their job on my bathroom. They realized the leak was still there. We had to call Mr Rooter back and requested the two uneducated plumbers that were supposed to fix it don't come back. So they sent another plumber along with Daniel supposedly a manager. They also didn't fix it because after our remodel company had already put in the shower and tile they realized the shower head wasn't secure - a very easy thing that the plumbers should have done!!!! After contacting Daniel he tried to place blame on the remodel company when in fact his company Mr Rooter are the ones who had replaced the broken pipe in the first place. We are still waiting for Daniel to call - I am going to request a refund because their company is inept at doing their job! I will never ever use this company again and would never ever recommend them! Also I was told by the remodel company that i was already over charged by Mr Rooter I paid around $1,200 and they said this job should've been no more than $300.00

HORRIBLE! This was a disgusting joke of a company. We called for someone to come snake out the shower drain and were told they'd be here at 8am yesterday. When it hit noon we decided to call back- they said they were backed up but would be there that evening. As it got later and later and still had zero communication, we called again....said they wouldn't be able to make it at all. We were then stupid enough to allow them to reschedule with us the following day because we understand that things happen and people have bad days. Also because we spoke to a manager (Monica) in the morning who apologized and guaranteed that 100% they would be able to make it. So we then scheduled for 6:30pm the next day (due to work schedules and what not). We called this manager around 4pm to again confirm they'd still be here tonight and not leave us hanging. She reassured us they would be and would also give us a courtesy call 30min prior. When 6:30 hit and we had no calls from them, WE again called THEM. They told us AGAIN they were tied up and wouldn't be able to come out. Such a waste of time! Completely unreliable! And zero communication! Terrible company- DO NOT USE THEM!

Thank you Wes for sending out such a great crew, Field Supervisor Robert, Noah, Danny and Marco.
They were a lifesaver to our parents and took great care of their plumbing problems.
The fact that our parents are seniors and on a fixed income, we wanted to make sure that we had honest, reliable and reputable plumbers.
These guys were all of the above and more. They were extremely professional, polite, on time, kept us posted on all of the necessary work (no surprises), were careful and contentious about cleaning up and did not leave equipment or debris in the way.
The job took 2 days, they powered through both and we never felt the need or concern to check up on the work or that it was being done.
They were very careful and took great care to avoid cracking or breaking concrete, sidewalks and planters. The lawn needed to be dug up and they replaced all soil and grass with care.
We were very impressed and grateful that we made the right choice in choosing plumbers.

It worked before the hot water would turn off but we would go turn the boiler on again and it would be good but they brought the new one yesterday and now the hot water doesn't work in the shower only in the sinks

Cost $2000 for new water heater
Mr. Roofer told us $345 to do shower repairs nothing to do with water heater.
We sent 2nd vendors Next-gen to verify the problem.
Outcome is someone turn water heater temperature to reserve which cause problem.

Next-Gen fix the problem without charging us we offer to pay them.

I called mr. Rooter out to change the washer on the cold water in my shower which I normally do on my own cause it is leaking but was in a rush for an appointment. They came out and said it was the stem so they change it and it still leaked after that mine you I repiped the whole house three years ago they said that it's a valve in the wall and it's gonna cost 1300 dollars I said I call someone else cause it still leaks and I still had to pay them for nothing!

I had a major blockage in my sewer line, I left a message and they called me back first thing in the morning and scheduled me right away.
Gabriel showed up and seemed nice and pleasant. I walked him through what our problem was and he did some initial inspections and decided it would be best to check the back-flow flapper in the sewer before starting any other repairs.

Sure enough, when he pulled it out it was completely blocked with debris and other junk.
That fixed the problem. Most plumbers might just go straight for running an auger down the lines, but where our flapper valve was situated in the garage, they would have run into it and damaged it.

I would highly recommend Mr Rooter to anyone else, and if we ever have a problem in the future, I already have their business card saved.

Drain was clogged. I advise the plumber. He ran the snake for what didn't seem very long and tells me the plumbing is all wrong and will have to be re done and some other stuff to declog. I paid him $189.00 For no results. The sink remained clogged.
The next day I bought a Wal-Mart brand Drano and let it sit over night. It cleared it all up! Really. I felt that he was not being forthcoming when accessing the problem or was not very knowledgeable. Either way, the job was not worth almost $200 for being here just a minute.

A little over a month ago, I called Mr Rooter because I saw all the great reviews and thought I could trust this company. I had woken up one morning to a leak in my bathroom and noticed it was hot water. I called and someone came before the quoted time frame which I thought was nice.
However as soon as the guy walked in he said it's a slab leak. Then he tried to do a leak detection and could not find the leak. Yet he said I had water damage so called a restoration company and then turned around and tried to tell me that the pipes in my house was recalled on and I should re pipe. Then he pulls out the quotes between $8,000 to $20,000.
In my head I'm believing everything they're telling me so I said I will do the re pipe for $13,000. He put me through to his finance guy and I didn't qualify for the finance so they tried to get me to sign up for a program where the bill is tagged into my property taxes.
Right away I said no. I called my sister to let her know what was going on and she told me to tell them that were going to get a second opinion because none of that sounded right. Well, as soon as I told Mr Rooter second opinion they suddenly started to change their story. The guy even said, he wasn't convinced... on the other hand I have the restoration guy telling me they have to open all the walls because of water damage.
And let me just add MR ROOTER NEVER FOUND THE LEAK.
After they left I went to my neighbor who is a general contractor and asked if he could take a look. He told me all that didn't sound right and the so call pipe that was recalled is still being sold in stores. And he told me I should cancel before my insurance company came out and denied my claim causing my insurance to increase for no reason.

In the end we were able to get a solution and it did not cost me anywhere near 8 or 13 thousand.

Today Gabriel arrived at our home , he diagnosed the problem, advised of the possible problems. We decided to go with Gabriel, because he arrived on time and in complete uniform. Note before entering our house he placed covers over his boots...well I'm glad we used him.. he took the time to explain why the problem existed, the previous Plumbers didn't take the time to clean the pipe before installing the new value. He just forced the value in causing damage to the value, and the leak continued...Gabriel used sand paper to clean the corrosion that prevented the valve from being sealed correctly. Our home was built in 1951, needless to say, it was time for new plumbing. There were broken pieces, cracks, dirt and roots growing in just about every section of the pipes, from the bathroom to the street. Korin and his team provided great service. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional and he went ahead and replaced our water hose spicket and leaky sink faucet at no extra charge. Knowing how much work had to get done ($$$), He was kind enough to go the extra mile and fix those two things as well. The job was quite expensive, but overall, you get what you pay for.

He told me my water pressure could be improved by changing out the sink faucet and I could call the office to set up an appointment to have that done when I am ready. I recently needed 2 water heater's. One tankless and one tank style. This company sent out Gabriel and Jose the very next day. They removed old and installed new and had to repipe and fix some crazy old problems that we discovered in my 96 year old house. I am very impressed with their professional work ethics and knowledge of products and new codes in my area. They finished the job in 2 days and cleaned up and hauled off the old stuff.

Scammers! Do not use! They will not show up at scheduled times. They will not provide a receipt showing only the work done. They will surround you and tell you that you have an emergency issue and if you act now they will do the work for $2500 rather than $3500.

I moved into a new house, put washer drain hose in pipe and it overflowed. Phoned Mr. Rooter and they came on a Friday and told me that the drainage pipe from washer is completely rusted shut, cannot be snaked and I needed the pipe in laundry room completely cut out to under the house and removed. It would cost $2700 but they felt sorry for me and would do for $1421 using their own personal discounts. No written quote provided and I said I have a home warranty. They said won't be covered by warranty because they cannot snake the line. Must remove the entire pipe.

They were scheduled to arrive Monday between 1-2 to cut out the old rusted closed pipe and install all new. I took off from work to be here. He texted after he did not show up between 1-2 and at 2:33 texted he would be here at 4 pm. 4:29 he called to say he couldn't make it and rescheduled for next day at 2 pm.

I took off from work next day and he was here around 3 pm. Then, he simply snaked the pipe and when I asked what was going on he said I'm saving you money because you don't need the pipe removed. I'll only charge you $1000. And look, I removed an allen wrench and washer from the pipe here. I'm saving you the parts cost of not replacing the pipe. I said you told me it needed all new piping and could not be snaked. Being snaked would have been covered by the home warranty and I would not have had you do this repair and he said fine, if you want me to bill you the full 1400 when I'm trying to save you money then I'll remove the pipe. I said of course I don't want you to bill me more for work that doesn't need to be done and he laughed and said that's what I thought.

Then he just left white powder all over the floor, a huge square hole in the wall because he said we don't do drywall and charged me $1000. I said that seemed very expensive and he said it was a special machine snake.

Then he said he would offer me a free camera look at my pipes and said he found 100% sewer line blockage that needed immediate clearing and if I say yes right now, we'll waive the $1000 snake fee and do this blockage for $2500 more... today, right now only. Thank God I did not do this! They are fake scammers!

I then requested that ONLY the snake charge show on the bill so I could submit to my home warranty and he said I don't know what you mean as he wrote a whole paragraph about how they used a camera to see my sewer line is 100% blockage with zero mention of why they charged the $1000.

I then emailed the manager to ask the invoice ONLY list the snake repair so I can submit to home warranty. He said in two emails he has no idea what I'm asking for. Then when he phoned the following week and left a message, I called him back within the hour, got his voicemail and left a message and never got a response again.

$1000 and a big hole and white stuff all over floor... this picture is after I tried to get the white stuff up.

Was checking out the website via cell phone and the option popped up to text in. I texted in asking for support and was written back within minutes. They got my basic info and then had someone call me to confirm someone would be sent out. They had Korin arrive on a Saturday about an hour after I texted in and early in the time frame they gave me. Korin was professional, friendly and our job was finished before my kids' bedtime. He cleaned up well and let me know about other services the company can do to help maintain our plumbing. I called Mr. Rooter for a kitchen clog. About 10 minutes in the plumber says he can't get the snake beyond a certain point and suspects a break in the drainage pipe. He says he can get a pipe camera to verify. He shows me an image and says there's the break. I couldn't tell hide or hair at what I was looking at but assumed he's being honest. He quotes me a price of $6400 to $4200 to break open the slab. I tell him I will let the owner know and he would get back to Mr. Rooter. He requested I call the owner and that this is quite serious the slab could buckle. After a couple more insistent requests he convinces me to call the owner. The owner says to tell Mr. Rooter he's getting a second opinion. The technician says he can't do anything about the clog and charges $149. When the owner arrives at my home he explains, the exact same thing happened a couple years ago. Mike Diamond used a camera and told the owner, in older homes the drain pipes are not consistently smooth and a drain snake could easily get stuck. The owner grabbed a drain bladder on a hose and the clog was cleared in a matter of minutes. I would never recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing to anyone.

Yesterday my messed up working on bathroom faucet sink, due to my work schedule I had call for a plumer, the initial price was $89 to tight up correctly, but the plummer told the thread is messed up and I need new faucet and he will replace the water connection and emergency valve, price then went $439 I said it is fine, then I left to work. 1435, at 1515 the Plummer called and tolde he can only replace the faucet and he don't touch the old water connection, so after all said and done I was charged $400 to replace bathroom faucet.
I had to pay for my parents because they are on fixed income.
So, if you guys looking for Plummer, I didn't recommend that one.

We just purchased our home and already had plumbing issues. We originally called Mr.Rooter company out an Joe came and truly helped us. He then decided to have his supervisor, Tim come out with him yesterday to run a camera line through our toilet to make sure everything was good. Well, a bigger issue was found to where our pipes were busted and filled with dirt. Had we never contacted such a great and honest company, we would've been out the pocket A LOT OF MONEY!! We were able to call the original owners and they fixed it for FREE!! Thank you Tim and Joe for your honesty and helping us get this issue fixed. Last night I discovered a leak from the main pipe before it goes in the house. I went on Mr. Rooter Plumbing website after read so many good reviews and a chat window popped up. I was able to arrange a call in the morning as I didn't feel it was an emergency. Carmen (very sweet) called me a little after 7;00 am and Kyle Shnyder came to my home shortly after. He was so polite, professional, smart and quick. He had my line fixed/replaced before I had to go to work at 11:30 am. If I could give a negative 0 is still more than they deserve! $1280 dollars to install a shower valve!! You read correctly`...$1280! Not a tub or a shower but a valve for a shower that is raggedy. To start off we had a late night emergency with our plumbing. Water was coming up in every drain of the house. We searched for a 24 emergency plumber and came across Mr. Rooter. We call them and with about 30-40 later Fernando showed up. We explain our problem and he went to work looking for the issue. They ended up replacing some broken pipes. The main purpose of my post is to thank Fernando for being perfessional and friendly. Fernando keep me posted on everything. He explained things in detail and took pride in his work. If this is the kind of employee that Mr. Rooter has then they will always have my business and I will refer them to family and friends. Richard was so kind and very helpful. What I really liked was his way of teaching me about the pipe and why it is getting clogged. He was very thorough in explaining what was happening and the course of action he was going to be taking. Very polite and really helped us in providing the next steps we were going to have to take. I would never do business with company. I call for them to come out to check out my yard to install a outdoor drainage due to some flooding, I wanted the drain to run from the front yard to the curb 60ft. The guy that came out quoted me $6,000 dollars. Basically to dig a trench run it down to the curb and install a pipe. I had a landscaper come out quoted me $560 for the job. Beware!!!!!!

NO CALL, NO SHOW! No communication! Appointment between 8am - 10am and never showed up or called. I called 11 and they told me they were tied up. Hours later I called back...still nothing...called back at 7pm and they tell me they won't come out today tied up, while my drain is backed up. I get a call the next day from Monica and she promises they will be at our house at 630 pm. I call at 4pm just to double check and she assures me they will be there 630. Needless to say another no call no show. I call again and they tell me they won't make it out, All technicians tied up. Don't use this company, give your money to a smaller company that has good respect and communication. I called another company and they made it to our house in 30 min at 730pm. Mr. Rooter will keep you waiting and guessing if they will ever show up.

Although the person that assisted me in replacing a leaking water valve, I feel as I was robbed from this business. I don't know how they justify charging me $200 for five minutes of their time. If I had the tools and strength I would've done it myself. I dislike how businesses take advantage of women! I will not do business with this company and I do not recommend this business to anyone unless they're ok to overpay.

I never said anything negative about the service. What was said was, you overcharged. If you can justify that price, which you have, then I have a right to let people know about my experience. Ladies, it is hard to find honest businesses that don't overcharge and my experience with this company can save you money. Was the service poor? NO but it was overpriced! I do not even want a refund from this company, I just need anyone especially if you're a single woman to please research first. If I would've seen a post like this warning me about overcharging, I would've called another business.

I called Mr. Rooter for what I thought would be a simple hook up of a filter set up in my sink supply line. It turned out to be a much more difficult job but their technician Gabriel worked diligently to solve our problem. Gabriel had to come back to my home 4 different times, he did not stop until our problem was completely fixed! With no additional cost. I'm so glad that I chose this company over any of the other ones I was looking at on Yelp!

I had bought the wrong parts for the set up and he kindly and patiently said that after I went to get the correct parts he would come back and finish the job for me. He did! Our water filter is set up perfectly after that and our plumbing issues were resolved!

The price was affordable and now I have a plumber I'm calling for all my plumbing issues! Highly recommend Mr. Rooter and our technician Gabriel!

Our 20+ year old water heater died on us and had to be immediately replaced. I contacted at least 7 plumbing companies and Mr. Rooter was the only one who had same day availability. Also, the rep told me they did not charge for assessment. Kevin and Noel showed up and once they looked at it, we got a quote and approved the order. There were too many issues with our old tank. The shut off valve was not working at all and water gushed out into the garage (we were fine but poor Kevin was soaked). Also, the water heater tank was too large for its storage (not sure how prior owners managed to fit a 50 gallon tank into storage meant for 40 gallons). Kevin had to cut the gas pipe and faucet pipe (which he fixed later) just to get the tank out. We also had an issue with the outside pressure which he fixed. He did not charge us for the extra repairs. Kevin and Noel worked tirelessly on our water heater from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm, with no break. We offered food and water but they opted to finish the job and cleaned up before leaving. We were very impressed with their work ethic. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I would highly recommend this company if you need plumbing work done and hopefully you will get Kevin and Noel who will give you exemplary work! Thank you guys!!!

We called Mr. Rooter early yesterday morning due to a bathroom sink being. We were assured by their phone person that Mr. Rooter would have someone out between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. After waiting from 1:00-4:00 pm, we received a telephone call at 4:05 advising that Mr. Rooter could not get anyone out, but they could get someone out between 9:00-11:00 am today. Mr. Rooter called at 7:30 am this morning to confirm that their Tech would be out today bEtween 9:00-11:00 am. I called at 8:45 to confirm that the Tech would be out between 9:00-11:00 am today, and was assured that some would be out between those hours. When the Mr. Rooter Tech had not shown up again, I called Mr. Rooter to complain. I was told that all their Techs were tied up, but someone would be out this afternoon as we werE 2nd on their list after an estimate which would be quick and then their Tech would be out to handle our problem. At 1:30 someone from Mr. Rooter called to inform us they they could not get out until tomorrow. Mr. Rooter should change it's name to Mr. No Show!!

I recently had my toilet unplugged by mr rooter( do not call these guys for any plumbing problems,) so i thought, the tech came and quoted me a price of over $400 because he said he had to remove my toilet after some negotiation i got him down to $350. He couldn't get the drain snake to go down the right way so he ended up going through the vent on the roof.
The problem was fixed but because the tech said he felt a partial blockage in the pipe he couldn't give a warranty that it would not get plugged again. Later that evening the toilets did get plugged again.
The next day i went to home depot, rented a drain snake that cost me $77.00 for the day. I ended up removing both toilets and managed to get the snake to go down the drain pipe the right way after about the 3rd or 4th try I send the snake almost the whole 50 feet, I did not feel any blockage while i was pushing the snake down the drain pipe. I pulled the snake completely out twice and sent it back down again almost the whole 50 feet. Once that was done I put the toilets back and have not had any problems with my toilets flushing, it has been 3 days now since i did this work the right way
I believe that when the tech sent the snake down the drain he did not put any kind of tip on the send of the snake to clean out the pipe completely therefore it was only partially unplugged. I would not call these guys or recommend them to anyone for plumbing problems. It seems that they just want to get as much money out of you that they can but only do half ass work and then say they can't warranty it so they can come back and charge you more money for more half ass work

THIS IS THE PLACE TO CALL!!!!!!
My bath tub started backing up when my washer was draining. It would slowly drain out so I didn't think anything of it. After a couple days it got to the point of no drainage! My tub was full of gross dirty laundry water and all I wanted to do was shower! I found Mr. Rooter and talked to Julio, he was kind, responsive, and very professional. Even better he had William out to my place in under 30 minutes! William was very professional, straight forward, and knowledgeable. We appreciate the quick and reliable service. I also like that this is a family owned business that has people who know how to take care of their customers! We are very happy and also feel good knowing we have a 30 days if anything goes wrong. I gave Mr. Rooter 2 stars only because their plumber responded quickly. After that, everything went down hill.

Long story short a sprinkler valve at a rental I manage went bad--started leaking and turned on the circuit. I'm not on site so I called Mr Rooter to have someone go out and diagnose. The plumber showed up about 30 minutes later. His diagnosis was that it had to be replace for $500, or he could cap it off for $180. I chose cap off because I can replace a sprinkler valve. So he capped it off.

I went to the property 3 days later to survey what had happened only to discover that I was lied to. While the sprinkler valve had gone bad the plumber failed to tell me that simply closing the flow-control valve would have shut off the sprinkler valve stopping the leak. So, instead of telling me the truth, turning the flow-control valve off and charging me much less I was misled on the diagnosis and now have a huge mess to clean up. Another thing I discovered after digging out the pipes is that instead of cutting off the supply line to the circuit, he simply broke it off...so now I have even more to digout and replace.

Shoddy work, misrepresentation in diagnosis and over-charging. That is what you should expect from Mr. Rooter. Do yourself a favor and choose another plumber. I'll never make this mistake again.

Definitely 5 stars. The first thing they did was put on shoe covers, acted as if it was their own house. Very fair price. Jose and Gabriel were very courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend them. They even went to supply house with me to make sure I bought the correct parts.

Never showed, set up an appointment for an estimate was told we'd get a call after 5pm when they'd be on their way. Waited 5 hours! No call regarding estimated time frame, rescheduling, or sheer courtesy. Definitely don't recommend, haven't even started working with them and already left a horrible impression.

The owner of the company is highly unprofessional and people working for him don't even know how to connect a faucet to a sink. That is plumbing 101. Just discovered the guy connected hot outlet to the cold input of the faucet. I swapped the connection myself. They took $300 (demanded $400 before even completing the job!) for training some one on the job who failed terribly. And the owner gave me a lecture on how to do business when I went to Costco to buy the garbage disposal, refusing to take their very highly marked up garbage disposal. The plumber did not even fix new garbage disposal correctly before collecting the $400 check. Later some senior technician came to fix the leak, gave a discount of $100 when I shared my experience with him. The plumber spent more than 8 hours to change a faucet, replace a garbage disposal. I am very sure this work will have leaks in future. I hated this experience. Stay away from this company.

Called in the morning due to a major plumbing failure. The dispatcher assured me that a tech would be at my location within 45 minutes. Upon arrival, the team was able to quickly diagnose the problem and present me with several options to move forward with. Wesley explained the pros and cons of each and also presented multiple payment options. Once the course of action was decided, Eddie and Robert worked diligently to complete the job by the end of the day. The original estimate was that the job would take 2 days. Excellent work. I will definitely call them again.

I called with an issue related to a clogged drip line from the AC condenser unit.. Anthony came to fix the problem, and was there within 45 minutes of me calling. I was so surprised and impressed by the efficiency. Anthony was very professional and friendly, and fixed the problem in no time; and boy did he have a MESS to deal with.

I will start off by saying the customer service of Mr.Rooter is unmatched! We had a clog in one of our toilets, called for an appointment and about an hour later Matt Hendry was at our door he accessed the situation gave us the rate (which was more affordable than a lot of the other companies) and he got right to work! The house was built in 1949 so the plumbing is it the greatest, Matt was at our house for HOURS and then his boss came to join after him driving over an hour through traffic to get to our house and worked and worked and worked some more until they solved the problem!! My husband and I were astounded that they stayed and rode it out until our problem was fixed when many other companies would've given up and left!! We appreciate your hard work ethic and dedication!! We can definitely say with confidence that we recommend Mr. Rooter and Matt Hendry for your plumbing needs!! Thank you again!!
