I called this company after recommendation from a co-worker that had used them in the past. I called on a Saturday at 2pm. A crystal answered the phone and I explained what my issues where she stated someone could be out on Sunday to give me an estimate. I thought this was great. She said it would be after 8am and they would call. Well I waited till 12pm no call so I called. Same woman answered that I spoke to yesterday. I told her I had been waiting for a plumber. She took my info and stated no appointment was showing for me. She looked again, had me give her my address which she kept misspelling, including my name and came back and said no appointment. I stayed home waiting for a plumber that was never going to show up. What really upset me though is the woman that answers the phone. She's either doing to many things at once or just doesn't care! Because yesterday also I spelled and gave her my address multiple times, including my phone number. Today when I called back we went through the same process and then she would repeat nonsense back to me. When she said i had no appointment today I politely said thanks and hung up. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Update 6/16/19
I received a call from Kyle the owner not up to an hour after my Yelp review. He stated he had review the conversation I had with the lady and apologize. Not only did he apologize but he wanted to find out how to correct the issue. He got a plumber out here, who was great at his job and did it fast. I appreciate them rectify the issue.

There are a lot of great aspects to owning your own home but, when things go wrong, you will re-think every last one of them.  There were plumbing issues happening past the resolution skills of the big box plunger, and even the 'do it yourself' drain snake...it was time to call someone.

Why is calling a plumber one of the most hated tasks of life?  The appearance of the guy who shows up at the door?  The surprise bill that knocks you over at the end of the job?  Not knowing exactly what they are doing with the best seat in the house?  Wondering when they are going to show up? AAA Auger addresses these issues as well as what's going on with the pipes.

After spending the night in a hotel (we are accustomed to indoor plumbing...) I called the next morning.  The phone was answered quickly and professionally and I was told that everyone was currently out on a job but I could be placed on the waiting list and that someone would be able to come the same day but it might be later in the day.  Since we were in a hotel, I was OK with that.

About 20 minutes later, I received a call that someone was available and he could be at my house in 20 minutes.  I asked for 30 and we rushed home to find the van waiting for us!

Now, here's where the fears of calling a plumber start to further disappear....the van is unmistakable...it's not some independent dude showing up in a pickup truck that he probably takes hunting on the weekends.  The vans are white and clean (and stocked with all the equipment one might need) with the company name in red on the sides.  The plumber was in black pants with a red company shirt and, even though my floors are nothing to write home about, he put blue booties on over his work boots whenever he came inside.

He assessed the situation and, before starting any work, wrote up a quote for what he needed to do.  What?  I already know how much it's going to cost?  This is REALLY the price?  Hmmmm....has to be a catch in here somewhere...OH, what's the hourly rate?!?!  Oh, there is none?  Well, OK, then let's proceed!

He worked outside for about an hour, clearing the pipes of some roots that had invaded, and then let me watch over his shoulder as he used the See Snake to visually inspect the rest of the pipe running the length of the house (a nice way for me to tell if I might have any foundation issues going on!)  I was informed and kept in the loop every step of the way which helped me learn a little bit more about my house.  He also wrote up a quote for how much it would cost to completely repair the pipe, should I decide to do that in the future, but there was no pressure or unnecessary drama to make me believe I needed to schedule that right away.

It was all over as quickly as it had started and it was about as painless as it could be.  I printed off a $20 coupon from their website which was happily accepted and there were no surprise fees added on.  Not long after he left, I received a follow-up call from the office making sure the problem had been fixed and that I was satisfied with the service.  Definitely!

I originally found this business on the Shepherd's Guide website and then came to Yelp to check out other reviews.  I know not everyone's experience is perfect, and there are 3 sides to every story (yours, theirs and the truth), but I'm making this review my first Yelp review because I had a great experience.  I know there are other homeowners like me who, at some point, are going to need to call someone and I want to recommend AAA Auger as someone you can trust with your investment of your home.

Now, if anyone asks me if I can recommend a plumber, I'm able to say why yes, I DO have a plumber AND one I can feel good referring to other people!

Requested a quote on Saturday night for a leaking water heater. Got a response on Sunday morning. That's understandable, it was kind of late on Saturday so I get it. They told me there would be someone out in about 4 hours. The time came and went and was told that it would be another 4 hours. Then I get a call and was told that a piece of equipment was down and that no plumbers could come out until the following day. Monday comes around, I'm told it would be 4 hours. My brother volunteers to take time off work and to wait at the house for these plumbers to come out. Come 4pm, I get a call and they tell me that no one can come out until Tuesday. I asked them about their same day service guarantee that's posted on their website. They said that they try to come out on the  same day but really can't guarantee it. Then why have a guarantee if you can't stand behind it and cannot offer a way to make it right? We talked about the problems I'm having with the water heater and get a rough estimate of $1500-$2000 to replace the water heater. That's all I had to hear, granted they never came out to do a full estimate, by this point I've had enough: a guarantee they cannon stand behind and a three day wait. My trust is completely gone at this point. I go online and request a quote from Home Depot for a replacement water heater. Five minutes later I get a call. $1000 estimate and have an appointment for the next day. They come out the next day and replace the water heater in about an hour and it's comes out to be just a little under the initial estimate. Thank you Home Depot.

I chose AAA because of all the glowing reviews.  Unfortunately I had a very different experience.

The good: easy to schedule on phone and they came on time.  2nd Tech did unclog the drain.
The bad: everything else.  Most notably - a near-miss on contracting for very expensive, and totally unnecessary repairs.

I initially tried to schedule them via their web, but got no response.  So after a couple of days, I called them, and was able to schedule service at that point.  They came when they were supposed to.  The tech got the auger out, and went to the cleanout on the side of the house.  After struggling with it for a while, he decided that the auger cable was too big to make it through the turns in the pipe.  So he got the small auger out of the truck, and ran it through.  It wasn't long enough to reach the clog.  He said we needed the MEDIUM auger, but he didn't have one.  OK - these things happen.  So he called, and arranged for another tech to come out later. The new tech brought out the medium auger a couple hours later.  He cleared the drain, but nothing came back on the head that would indicate what caused the clog.  He said the work was guaranteed for 6 months, but if they came back out, they'd recommend running a camera through the pipe to see what the real problem was.  And they'd do that for half the normal fee of $380.

A week later, and the drain is blocked again.  I call, get a tech scheduled, and again, he (Tech #2) comes on time.  He runs the auger again to clear the clog, and then runs the camera into the drain.  The camera is useless, as the display is solid black.  He doesn't have another camera, so he calls in to have another tech bring by another camera.  I wait about 45 minutes for the other tech to arrive, and they set up the new camera, and fish through the pipe.  He goes in probably 15 feet or so, and says There's the problem! you've got a belly in the pipe.  I ask him to explain, and he describes it as an area where the pipe has a low spot.

I asked why a low spot would cause a backup, since drain pipes commonly have traps (which are low spots by design).  These don't generally cause backups, as long as there's higher pipe upstream, and lower pipe downstream.  He made a weak attempt at explaining it.  I said I didn't understand, and he said he didn't know how to explain it any better than that.  I also pointed out that water WAS flowing through this belly.  He fed the camera further, and came to a spot where the pipe cross-section was a bit narrower, and he declares THAT'S the problem.  He tells me that my 50 year-old cast iron pipe has collapsed there, and that's why it keeps clogging.

He gets out the Locator which he moves around above ground, to detect exactly where the camera head was - and therefore where the pipe was bad.  He says it's in the middle of our den floor, though he didn't seem to be able to find the exact location.  And he was yelling over to the other tech at various times to move the camera in or out of the pipe a few feet here and there, or turn on the locator. After failing to get a good location, we go back out to the cleanout so he can make sure the other tech had things set right, we see that the camera display has a bunch of text displayed over the picture, and they had no idea why, or how to turn that off.  So they fiddle with it, and eventually get that to go away.

By this time I'd had enough, as a result of the multiple problems with them having the wrong equipment, or bad equipment, or confusion on how to use the good equipment, compounded by his inability or unwillingness to explain what was going on.  While I still expected at that point that I needed major repairs, I just didn't have confidence in AAA to do them, do them right, etc.  So I calmly told him it was time to wrap things up.  I'd pay them the $190 for this service call but then we were done.  I decided to get a 2nd opinion from another plumber I'd worked with before.  The tech apologized several times, and while that was nice, it didn't change my mind.  He blamed it on the bad equipment they gave him, and I politely said I didn't care whose fault it was - it's all AAA. As he was leaving, he commented that some folks are hard to please, and then was obviously angry, slamming doors in his truck.  I wondered then if my decision had cost him a commission (some plumbing companies pay their plumbers commission for sales).

The other plumber came out, used his camera (for less than the $190 half-price AAA fee), and said my pipes were fine.  The narrowed areas are just where some sediment has built up.  The clogs were due to the fact that we had installed a new (low-flow) toilet a few months ago.  The low-flow toilet, coupled with using Charmin in old cast iron pipes (with lots of rough spots inside) commonly causes clogs.  So the fix, rather than expensive tunneling under our slab and replacing pipes, is to change toilet paper to one that dissolves better.

AAA Auger customer service was excellent. They lost a star only because they scheduled me for 8a & didn't get to me until noon. However, they kept me informed the entire time.

Isreal Porras was an excellent plumber. He diagnosed the problem quick & told me exactly how much it would be, making the decision making process easy.

Nobody wants a  plumbing issue or to subsequently pay for plumbing services. AAA Auger services made the process smooth. I hope I never need them again, naturally but if I do have an issue, I will call them first.

They were great to work with! Gives you a written estimate with a breakdown of all expected costs so you know exactly what you're getting. One company was charging $250 to pull a permit, which was way over priced since I could pull my own permit for a fraction of that price and AAA only charged $5 more than what I would've paid on my own. I went with them based on that and how friendly Israel was when he came out.

As usually happens in older homes such as ours, we recently had a bathtub hot water handle that would not turn off the water..  Now this was not a drip, it was a running faucet.. My husband thought he could fix it, but after much frustration and irritability he gave up and shut off the water. This was on a Friday night. I called AAA Auger and scheduled an appointment for Saturday after 10 am. At 10 am their representative called to let me know it would be a couple more hours but they would call ahead. They arrive in 45-50 minutes diagnosed my problem, gave me a quote went to pick up a part and had me back up and running in about an hour. Their price was reasonable and their technician was courteous and knowledgeable.  I have saved them in my contacts and will definitely use them again. Great. Work

The pipe behind our toilet broke, and through a recommendation, I called AAA Auger. They arrived in less than 30 minutes. There was no cost for them to come out and assess the damage, and they gave me a quote on the spot. The plumber fixed the pipe very fast, and he was on his way.

Best pluming experience I've ever had. The plumber(Juan) was friendly,  honest and on time. I would strongly recommend you use this company. From the receptionist to the person that called to let me know when the plumber would be here to the plumber himself, everything went off without any issues and problem solved!

Not at all happy with these guys. First, I paid them $200 to cut a hole in my ceiling and tell me they didn't know the cause of my problem. Then they estimated $300+ to repair a sink part that I ultimately did myself after 10 minutes of internet research and $40 on Amazon. The only thing they did right was fix a running toilet, which they did on the second attempt. I only hired them because of a promotion on next door, which they made very hard to redeem.

AAAuger responded immediately to my leaking pipe. Unfortunately, the plumber they sent was in over his head. Upon noticing this, I called the home office. In less than 30 minutes a manager was at my house. Taking control of the situation, calling in back up and working thru the night to fix my leak. They also had damaged an area in my home. 3 painters and a contractor showed up the next morning to fix my house back to normal. I have never seen a company react so quickly to a mistake. I am sold on AAAuger (have used them for 10 years/this was their first mistake). Dustin the general manager is excellent at customer service and an awesome plumber. They are lucky to have him at the company.

Called Friday night at 9 PM, they said they could someone out on Saturday morning.  Next morning, received a call at 7:30 AM saying they will be late 2-3 hours.  received another call at 10:30 AM saying they will be late another 2-3 hours,  at 11:30 AM received another call saying they could not make it that day. they put me on queue for Sunday.  Sunday morning, got a call at 7:30 AM saying they will be late 2-3 hours, I was hoping it was not a repeat of Saturday's wait, but luckily I got a call at 9 AM saying someone is on the way.  They got here around 10:30 AM

Once he was here, pricing was upfront,  he does a very professional job of locating the leaking underground. once that was done, he quoted me a pricing to fix it.  it was a good price.  it took him and another person from 10:30 to around 3 to finish fixing the leaking pipe.  They done a very good job and I would recommend to the friend and family.  the reason I took off 1 star was that from the time of the call to the time they got here, we were without water,  I have to shut it off because it was flooding my front yard.

I would definitely use them for future plumbing problem, but incase of emergency that need immediate attention, i'm not so sure since their timing if pretty far off.

I was impressed with the quick service appt and tge honest and professional service. I will be calling them for future plumbing needs. Few years ago I had a tree root that clogged my sewer line and had AAA Plumber come out to clear the pipe after a stoppage. Last couple of weeks I notice slow drainage from my guest bath toilet and got concerned with possible regrowth or new tree root issue. On Sunday night it was very slow so before any accident I called AAA Auger. They answered on a Sunday and scheduled someone to come out Monday by 3 (I requested Mon since it wasn't an emergency to work around my schedule). I received couple calls Monday letting me know their ETA. Around 3p, Juan arrived. Very professional and helpful. He went over everything with me, checked all my drains (not just guest toilet), visually checked both drains outside to see if I truly had a clog, tested flow of water from flush and by turning on all water, etc. After few checks and showing me results and explaining everything he informed me I didn't have a clog but that perhaps those few times were just slow flush/drain. He honestly explained everything and said he didn't need to run the snake and charge me bc that would be unnecessary expense. Rather he gave me some tips on what to do, estimate of work if it does clog and requires service, and left after 45min of checking everything out. He could've done the unnecessary work and charged me, but instead he was honest and provided true service and help(tips). Within an hour I received a call following up with the service and wondering why I decline service to see if it was due to any dissatisfaction. I explained and gave them praise for being honest and the great service by Juan.

I had a plumbing leak & they sent out a plumber first thing in the morning.  He was very nice, explained everything to me when he gave me the quote.  It was a little more than I expected to pay but after checking normal charges I found out that they had made me a good deal & got my plumbing problem fixed very quickly.  I would definitely recommend them.

This is the ONLY plumber I will ever call again.  They came right away and stayed til the job was completed on a Saturday.

He was professional and did a great job.  Thanks for the extra effort.

I have a 40 year old home and from time to time the plumbing needs to be worked on.  The team at AAA Auger is the best.  I had a shower problem at 1am last night and called them.  A live person answered the phone and scheduled a plumber for 7am that morning.  He arrived on time and took care of the situation.  He also noticed a issue with my potty and made a suggestion on getting the shut off fixed since it was rusted and would not shut off.

The plumber was in a clean uniform, showed us the bad parts he replaced and I feel was very honest with us in his work.  If you need a plumber day or night this is the company to call.  I will be using AAA Auger in the future.

We came home today at 6 p.m. this evening & heard a spraying sound coming from the backyard. My husband went & checked it out and found water spraying from a newly replaced faucet, like a geyser, that a another plumber had fixed 4 weeks prior. We called this plumbing company (has the word free in it) asked if he could come out but he said he was out of town & seemed unconcerned & said he would come out on Monday. He told my husband to get a wrench & try to tighten it which my husband tried but could not repair it. I looked at plumbers on Yelp & saw AAA Auger had a 5-star rating so we called them at 7:30 p.m. & Jon rang our door bell at 8:25p.m. He replaced the faucet (which he said was an old style & weren't used anymore!) which the previous plumber had installed, & stabilized it & was done at 8:45 p.m. He was friendly & professional. The price we paid was reasonable--plus we got a free estimate by mentioning we were Yelp customers. They were awesome!  I'll definitely use them again & spread the word about AAA Auger!

Never fun when you have plumbing issues, life as we know stops or so it seems. Our plumbing was backed up and normally I can get them unclogged but this time it was not meant to be. I filled out a few Yelp quotes and AAA got back to me with in the hour. I expected to hear there will be an after hour fee plus the work but nope. They said they could be at my house with in the hour for a free quote and complete the service if I wanted to. Sho enough they showed up, price was fair for being 8pm and they were done in no time. They even did a free camera inspection and found my pipe was busted thanks to the roots of my tree.

We all want to find good and fair services. For plumbing, this is now my go to. I am a buyer at a manufacturing facility and will now be using AAA plumbing for our plant. They really are the best I have ever worked with. Give em a try, you won't regret it.

AAA is legit! Had some plumbing issues and called Triple A late last night and they were able to schedule me an appointment for today. When the plumber (Dan) arrived he put some shoe covers when he walked into the house. Gotta get give him props for that! He was able to unclog my drain and gave me some maintenance tips. This company is very professional! DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone with plumbing issues.

During the first snow of 2017 (1/6/17), came home from work to a burst front yard faucet. As you can imagine nearly every place I called gave me the same story, all booked until Monday, except AAA Auger. They put me on their wait list and called back after 3 or so hours to tell me they weren't going to come that night but that they would get to me the next morning. This gave me time to research my issue and by the time the tech showed up I already had the issue excavated and a fix purchased from Home Depot. Best part about my experience was the tech agreed with my solution, cut the pipe and applied the fix (sharkbite cap) in 5-10 min at no charge. He also gave me a quote on putting in a valve box as I live in an older home and the only water shut off to the house is at the street and a pain to get to.

The fact they didn't automatically push my issue to Monday, provided great customer service that kept me in the know of their progress, and an overall great experience till the end; I will definitely call AAA Auger in the future for any other plumbing needs.

People are quick to criticize but not as many are willing to take time to speak up for a job well done.  I had a broken pipe on Sunday and was frantically trying to find a plumbing company that would come on Sunday, and one that wouldn't take advantage of my desperate situation.  AAA Auger was a godsend.  With a house half full of water I had to get something done.  I called them and they had a plumber out within a few hours.  He was professional, polite and understood the job I needed.  We discussed a price that I found very fair given the short notice and being an off business day.  I will highly recommend them and appreciate their commitment to customer service and fair prices. They also give a warranty on the work performed.  Two thumbs up!

Plumber should have arrived after 4pm but instead arrived at 8:20pm. Got a call at 4pm stating they were running behind by a couple hours. My estimate was hardly worth the wait. It was going to be just under $350 to make a hole in my wall and that didn't include any other costs. The professional leak detector that wasn't in rotation yesterday did the same thing that I did.... Turned on the shower and listened.

We just had a new tankless water heater installed in our attic. Eric and Martin were the installers, and John was the field supervisor who visited with me upon their arrival and came back to check the work when it was completed.  They were knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job. I really appreciated their fast response time.  Eric responded to our initial inquiry quickly and was able to come the next day and give me a quote.  He explained all the pros and cons of the different tankless heaters they offered and help us decide on one that  best fits our needs. He also informed me of the nice $300 rebate they were offering for a review.  I would have given the same glowing review whether or not a rebate was involved!  I am a happy customer now. It's certainly never good to be without hot water, especially for a kitchen sink and dishwasher, which is what that water heater serviced. I would highly recommend Eric and the crew at AAA Auger for all your plumbing needs.

Horrible experience. After two days could never get a plumber to my house. They couldn't tell me when and said they dispatch plumbers based on your proximity to their current job. Of course they never told me this when they gave me courtesy calls saying they were really busy but would get to me soon. If you want help, call another company.

Update:
And here is the company's response via BBB. Yes plumbing issues are frustrating. Wasting two days on a company that gives false hope they will help is worse. But hey glad you have an efficient manner to operate your business. Kudos for the honesty and response I suppose.

Thank you for giving us an opportunity. We sincerely strive to provide timely service. We have our company organized in service zones. This is unquestionably the most efficient manner to operate. Your review confirms that we effectively communicated that we were trying to get a plumber to you. By your own admission, we stayed in touch with you numerous times letting you know that we were still delayed. Because we never know how long any job may take, it makes it impossible to accurately predict our subsequent service response. Unfortunately, with the last hard freeze, there are not enough plumbers industry wide in the DFW metroplex to have kept up with the demand. We added your service request to our queue and communicated that we would try to get you a plumber as quickly as possible and that we would stay in communication. I sincerely wish that we could have responded sooner. We truly understand the frustration that plumbing problems cause. Thanks again for the opportunity and we are sorry we were unable to help.

***

Best of luck? I didn't need luck, just a company that would actually help. You aren't it. How would you know what the work was when you never sent or planned to send anyone to our house?

Hoping one person sees this and decides to choose  another company given how you operate. Consumers deserve to know when a company fails. If that is smearing so be it.

I can't say enough about this company.
We bought our 30 year old home about 6 months ago and within the last 2 months ALL of the plumbing went to hell. We had everything fixed quickly and professionally by AAA Augers best tech named Chris. This guy is such a professional, knowledgable, five star class act. Chris worked so hard repiping the whole house through the attic after the slab leak, he fearlessly crawled 30 feet under the house through a tiny tunnel to replace our main sewer line that was busted by tree roots, and he seriously injured his leg working in a deep pit they had dug in the front yard to get to the rest of the sewer line that needed to be replaced. He was so committed to getting things fixed up and done right he went to the hospital, they stitched up his leg and he came back to work that same day!!! I'm also so impressed that after realizing they'd accidently totally ruined our lawn they had a lawn care company put down sod!! They didn't have to, they even stipulate in their contract that they're not responsible for damage to landscaping.
Y'all, we even had to replace the gas line from the meter up to the house because of a leak. Chris and all the guys at AAA Auger really took care of us. By the end of it all, after so much that went wrong and all the time we spent dealing with this company the past few months I'm certain without a doubt there's no better plumber out there and we will always rely on them for our plumbing needs.

I needed to replace my tankless hot water heater.  AAA Auger had Eric out to my house the same day to provide an estimate and provided me with an appointment two days later with the exact model of the Rinnai tankless hot water heater that I wanted.  The installation is very professional and the estimate was adhered to exactly.  I could not be happier with their service!

Jon -382 was awesome!  I sent a Yelp request on Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend and they were out within the hour.  Reasonable prices, super quick service, and friendly plumber what more can you ask for. I recommend AAA Auger for all your plumbing needs.

The plumbing work was fine, and the plumber worked quickly and did a nice job. The service was, however, very pricey.  The reason for only three stars is this company's estimation practice. Be aware that this company will not provide an estimate over the phone, or even a ballpark figure.  Instead, they will send their plumber out to do an estimate at your location, and they have a handbook of charges to provide the cost on site.  You are free to accept or not.  . I understand that they cannot give a firm estimate without seeing things first, but I believe they could give a range so that the customer can at least get an idea of the cost.  My plumbing work was very simple - installing a kitchen faucet and replacing the cutoff valve under the kitchen sink - the type of work not hard to quantify. I can't give more than three stars because of this practice., which is clearly designed to encourage the customer to accept what appeared to be an inflated price.

Do not use this company.  I requested a quote to install 5 faucets, and repair one 1 a/c unit drain.  They gave me a quote of $1400.00.  Insane.  Their prices are inflated.

To respond to your response:

The prices were truly inflated. The 5 faucets that I had asked to be installed were new installation. We had new granite countertops installed and needed new faucets ( not to remove or replace any old plumbing.  The cabinets under the sinks were freshly painted (thus the condition was excellent).  The prices reflect a plumber who is truly trying to take advantage of a woman.

Mark Ondras quoted us $400 for the same work.

I waited two days for a plumber to come and do an inspection for water leaks.  When the plumber arrived he wrote an invoice for repairs that needed to be done instead of verifying that there were no leaks in my condo.  I continued to ask him if he could give me an inspection; that is what I request, however, it is not what I received.  The plumber gave me an invoice.  I asked him repeatedly for a inspection report but never got it.  I will not use this company again and think that any plumbing company should be able to provide an inspection report.

This is the worse service ever, appointment is at 9 am but no call from anyone until I call around 9:30 am and Eric said first available after 9 when asked where is the plumber and he said still at another job and should be soon, hung up and waited until 10:37 been told by Abby that there was mistake and schedule over looked,  my husband asked how come no one call to let us know, she lied that Eric called, my husband said there was no call from Eric and the appointment was booked for 9 am.   Eric came on the phone and was being rude, not once apologized for what happened. He waisted our time since our toilet not fixed, horrible service we will not only never use them again but also will tell everyone not to use them either.  There should be no star available for review so customer like us can rate these people/companies which Eric/Abby deserve.   Please don't use them because you'll be disappointed.  They SUCKS!!!!!

I hope David Cross the CEO of the company read this and either fire Eric and Abby or retrained them again, since they gave his company a bad name.  I'm going to find out if I can write him an email about them also.

These guys were great.  The moment the plumber came to my house he recommended I first have the city mark my front yard for any underground wiring, pipes, or cables before digging occurred.  This way I wouldn't be held liable for any broken utilities underground.  I had a small leak next to my water meter, which required some digging and even though I wanted the plumber to fix the leak right away, I'm glad he mentioned to call the city first.  This really showed me how important his customers are and he would rather play it safe than to get paid right away.  I have no problem recommending them to anyone.

We had them out to our house again and I can only re-iterate my previous review.  Professional,
kind, courteous - and that's just the lady who answers the telephone!  The technician is a great guy and he was the same one we had last time which we liked a whole lot!

These folks are our go-to whenever we need their work!

I'm seeing six 5 star reviews and I'm writing a 7th! Here's how it went down: After coming home from a wedding reception, I noticed a strange noise where the water heater is. So I open that door, and guess what? Water gushing everywhere!! OMG what oh what?? So I turn off the emergency shut off valve - not working! So I go to shut the water off for the entire house. Now where did I put that special tool? Oh yeah, I don't have one. Crap! I had to call the fire department to shut the water off. It's midnight, on a Saturday, and the next day is Mother's Day. And I need a shower (read - I'm not smelling that great).

So Sunday morning I start calling to find someone to replace this water heater which apparently should have been replaced like 10 years ago. Five places (including Home Depot) no answer. Then I called this place. A very pleasant man answered the phone at 8:30 on a Sunday morning. I explained the problem. He's like oh sure we can fix that. I'll have someone there in 30 minutes. I'm thinking I'm dreaming all this right? Because where are you going to find a plumber to come out at 9:00 on Sunday morning on Mother's Day?

Sure enough, 30 minutes later Dave showed up. Real nice. By 11:00 I had a new water heater. By 11:30 I was able to wash off the stank from the night before. Were they expensive? Yeah probably, but what's it worth to you to get the water back on in your house?

Use these guys for your next emergency - they were GREAT!!

Had a leak in our shower and they were able to come out within an hour's time. It was simply a faulty connector from the shower sprayer to the wall, making it appear as if the leak was coming from the ceiling. There was no charge for the visit, which we can repair with a new connector from Lowe's. Thank you AAA Auger Plumbing and especially the technician, David!  You are awesome!!

Don't use these guys they are just another company that doesn't care and just wants to charge you. They can't figure out the problem with out charging you to find out if that is the problem so I get to spend 300 buck and get left with the same problem as before they came now they did say they could keep trying for another 200 bucks but still can't tell me if it will work so both the options I was given where bad basically if you want to gamble 200-500 dollar go ahead and use them

Great experience.   Had two clogged toilets and tubs.  Called AAA Auger in Irving.  They were there faster than I expected, quoted me a fair price, worked quickly with my landlord to gain permission to do the work on the property and cleared the clog lickety split!   Their technician was excellent and their office staff was friendly, courteous and efficient.   Thanks AAA Auger!

Three years ago we had a leaking gas pipe at Christmas.  They over charged, used a trencher to replace the line and tore up every utility in the ground, without even owning up to doing it.

Three years ago, almost to the day, the risers near the house failed, which they put in.

Yes, dealing with the nightmare of gas/city inspector yet again.

I can't say enough how pleased we are with AAA Auger, and specifically, Frederick! Friday night, we had a toilet crisis. Great...it's the weekend, it's the middle of the night, and we're screwed. We go to sleep and my husband starts calling people early the next morning. Thankfully, I am a Yelper, so was going through many plumbers that had decent reviews. We tried a handful, but either no one answered or it was going to be hours before someone could get to us. AAA Auger got called and from the start of the call, we knew we wanted to go with them. The customer service was outstanding. The kind woman who answered the phone told us that all their guys were out on calls, but someone would call as soon as they had completed the job they were on. Sure enough, not even an hour later, Frederick called and said he was on his way. We've never been more relieved! He worked quickly and thoroughly, explaining all that he was doing and why. Thankfully, our issue wasn't major, but if we ever need plumbing services again, I can't imagine calling anyone else. Thanks, AAA Auger and Frederick!! You changed our weekend for the better and we're so grateful!

We just moved in our house and within a couple days the drainage pipe to the sewer was backed up. We called late in the evening around 9:45pm and was told someone would be out first thing in the morning. When Carlos got there he addressed the problem and clearly explained the situation to me. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and the cost was great. Will definitely use them again if I need to.

Was VERY pleased when they came out before.

This time I asked if 10-12 was possible and was told someone would contact me by 12 to confirm.  By 1 no one had ever called to schedule or report a delay.  I called and they said that I was still in the queue.

If someone is hung up that is fine...just left me know so I can plan.

Well, all good things come to an end, sadly.  I had been a satisfied AAA Auger customer for several years, and had appreciated their prompt services at very reasonable prices. All that changed since yesterday.

I called the Irving office yesterday afternoon requesting service to  fix a couple of bathroom faucets. A plumber was dispatched immediately, and after unscrewing the two faucet handle covers, he explained that some parts are missing/broken, and that he will have to get them the next day (i.e., today). He also gave me a price of around $470 for repairing both faucets, and emphasized that if I had to replace the two faucets, the labor charges would have been much more, and how lucky I was that these can be repaired, etc. I swallowed this argument, and agreed.

He showed up today morning with two parts, one for each faucet. They appeared to be two similar looking plastic cylinders with threads on them. It took him about 2-3 minutes to drop in each part into each open faucet handle and screw the faucet covers in. That was it! I was then presented with the bill, in which the parts cost was $22, and the labor was $448.

I had anticipated a complex procedure for repairing the faucets to justify the labor charges, so this bill appeared extremely inflated. I talked to the manager, who gave me a discount of $50, but also gave a lecture on how the bill was very reasonable and that we are paying for the knowledge of a licensed plumber, which naturally will be much higher than general handymen, and so on.

Well, I had hired their licensed plumbers in the past, and they had changed toilets, fixed plumbing leaks, etc., all of which appeared far more complex and laborious. And the charges had never been more than $250 per service call.

After this rip-off, I am looking elsewhere for my plumbing needs.

I was contacted by the manager of AAA Auger and they admitted that there were problems with the job that they did and that I was charged incorrectly. They apologized and refunded the amount that I was overcharged. I have never had a business attempt to contact me regarding a review so that does build my confidence in the company. They did not ask me to edit or update my review but I felt that their effort to remedy the situation warranted it.

First impression: Good.
Service: Nice.

I made a phone call today to get an estimate on my clogged toilet. I spoke to a representative named Kara and she was very nice and respectful the entire time. At one point, I had to get put on hold for about a minute when another representative accidentally picked up the wrong line. No problem as there was only a brief moment of confusion followed by a nice apology.

After exploring a few options, I agreed to schedule an appointment and have a plumber come out to inspect the problem. Currently, I don't have any idea what the costs will be; which I assume will be determined once the plumber comes by. It also seems they work on an open schedule depending on when a plumber becomes available. (Just got another call.) So far, their phone reps are quick, convenient, and keep me informed. If their plumbing service is as good as their phone service, then I will be looking quite forward to tomorrow.

3 stars. I likey so far.

*I will be updating this review once I see the plumber tomorrow morning.

This company was quick to reply and quickly came out to diagnose my water heater, however I think they were also quick to sell me something I didn't need. The plumber looked at my heater for a few minutes and told me it would cost as much to fix the broken ignitor as it would to replace the whole unit (almost $1900). At least they didn't charge for the estimate. Another company sent a plumber the next day who recognized that the unit was still under warranty. He was able to get me a free part overnighted, then install it for only $300. The unit should lady at least another 5 years.

My first experience with AAA was last Christmas (2018) when my family came from out of town. I had just bought an old 1948 flip house bungalow in Fort Worth and they were actually staying there while I was on a skip trip. The minute I landed to go home, my dad told me about how a toilet clogged, which then backed up all of the showers (ew). My dad called 2 local plumbers to try and give them business. That was Christmas Eve. Both of them quoted between 10-15k. I arrived Christmas morning and my dad told me all of this. I just bought this house and was freaking out. So my dad sought out one more opinion and THANKFULLY it was this company!!! Eric came over within hours, mind you, this was a holiday. He didn't even need any explanations and told us the issue. He told me how the plumbing layout is in my house, he knew literally anything and everything. It was a simple clog. He fixed it up in no time. I was baffled because I was told the problem was so extensive from the others and yet he had a simple solution.

Now, I no longer live there but have tenants. I was on vacation and they ran into a plumbing issue and called plumbers without consulting me (not AAA) and sent me quotes from them. Again, 5k-15k and suggesting I need a whole new system. The other company also scared my tenants into thinking that sewage gas was being exuded from the pipes. I called my guy Eric and he went over and told them the REAL issue and he is going to fix it. I truly think he is excellent as his job and he's so nice and respectful. Highly, highly recommend!

I can't recommend these guys enough. We called at 1:00 on a Wednesday afternoon, they were at our house in 30 minutes and had everything repaired that afternoon. And this wasn't just a small toilet issue, we had a very heavy flow of water leaking from upstairs through the ceiling. A lot plumbing services charge an arm & a leg for any kind of decent service, but AAA Auger was very well priced for such quality & professional work. Their crew was friendly and extremely careful in the house. They also recommended a great water damage restoration company that turned out to be a fantastic referral. Thanks AAA AUGERS!!!

This is the only plumber I will ever use.  Don't bother shopping around, looking for coupons or discounts etc., because this company will never overcharge- they don't even charge extra for coming out after hours or on the weekends.
I have used them several times over the past ten years and every single time they came out to my home right away, got the work done quickly and the charges were always reasonable.  AAA Auger will even tell you what coupons they have for you without you asking. From the receptionist to the service staff they are all so polite, professional and they just care about their customers.  I have recommended them time and time again because they are that good. How many companies can you rave about like this?  I bet not many but you will if and when you ever need plumbing services.

This is my second time using AAA Auger Plumbing Services and they will continue to be the first call I make should I have another plumbing issue in the future. There is no charge for them to come out and do an estimate and they are open 24 hours and available on the weekends too. HUGE plus, because you know that 99.9% of plumbing (or any other) issues seem to primarily occur after hours or on weekends...or is that just me?

When I called, the dispatcher gave me an estimate of how long it would take for them to come out (busy day) and made sure that I would be okay with that. She also promised to call again and let me know that they were on their way within 30-40 minutes of arrival - which they did. I really appreciated this because it kept me from being held hostage in the house all day waiting for them like some companies make you do! I ran a few other errands and they called me soon after I got home to say that they were headed my way.

I had the same tech (Juan) that had come out the first time. I can't say enough about how kind, courteous and polite he was! First of all, he wore disposable footies (extra points for respecting the carpet, lol!). I don't wear shoes in my home and am even neurotic enough to have a bucket of footies at the door for my guests. I didn't even have a chance to offer him any because he already had his own on. I also appreciate the fact that he took the time to explain the problem, how it happened and he also gave me tips on how to avoid having these issues recur the future (rather than just fixing it, taking my money and leaving). ;-)

I don't often take the time to write reviews, but if the service I received had been equally as bad, I would definitely be having a conversation with somebody's supervisor, so why not commend an exceptionally good job? :-) I've already recommended this company to friends and neighbors, so please keep up the great work (my name is on the line now, LOL!). I also hope that someone from the company takes the time to read these reviews and recognizes Juan for his consistently exceptional service. I'm sure this isn't the easiest job to have and probably a pretty horrible day for most people who have to contact a plumber in the first place, so it makes a difference to deal with dispatchers and techs that are always pleasant.

Thank you all again! :-)

Our tub was draining slow, not the sink or the toilet so we knew there must be something stuck in the tub. Just wanted a plumber to come out and clean the drain. John came out and wanted to charge us $300, said he would have to drill through our floor. We asked him a few questions and his answers were I don't know. Thankfully we sent him on his way without doing anything. We rented an auger and did it ourselves. Problem solved at a fraction of the cost. They are out to get you to do more services than needed cost. Will not ever call them again or recommend them to anyone.

AAA Auger is the best in the plumbing business! We have used them so many times over the past decade, in every house we have lived, and in all our offices. They are always dependable, on time, and efficient. Even on a pinch on a Saturday morning, at all times of day, they are always available to help and pretty much come out right away. There is no job too big or too small for our main plumber at AAA Auger, Eugene. He always arrives with a smile and is able to troubleshoot any issues right away. While many other plumbers charge an arm and a leg for initial service calls and do not respond right away, I know I can depend on Eugene and the team at AAA Auger to take care of us always. Their rates are always fair, they never make us wait, and they do not charge you unless they are able to help you. Thank you for everything AAA Auger! Ask for Eugene as well.

I would like to tell you about my experience with these people do not believe their commercial they are supposed to check out the problem and give you a quote  they did give me a quote but they apparently went too low. I had to call them back twice and the guy that came out was very rude and was upset that he had to work for free. He should take this up with his boss not me it is not my fault that they are not trained well and do not what they are doing this was Herold. I had to call them one more time before the warranty ran out because my bathroom backed up so they never got my lines cleaned out but they told me my warranty was no good even though I still had 11 days left I was not aware that you could gust cancel a warranty  just because you are tired of re doing a failed  repair. They told me that the first guy said that he got roots out of my sewer line and that is not true but even if it was true how would that be a reason to cancel a warranty especially after coming back two times. please do not do business with these people unless you can afford to hand over your money for nothing

I was recommended by a Veteran buddy to call this company to fixed a toilet issue. He told me they have high reviews on yelp and the customer service is awesome. I wish I could give 10 stars because they came out yesterday after being so busy. The technician Jon came and treated my Mother very respectfully. She felt he was a True Scholar and a Gentleman! He was able to get the problem fixed and the Price was very reasonable. Thank you to the friend Roy for recommendations. Thank you Jon for being a gentleman toward my mother.
