I am so very happy with Happy Plumbing!
I needed to get a water heater reset and I wanted to get it positioned a little differently from where it had to been. I was not even sure that was possible but I sent a few pictures to the office. She forwarded the pictures to Chris and he called me to discuss the job. I instantly liked him because he is knowledgeable and easy going.
Today he did the job and I absolutely could not be happier. His expertise and his attention to detail are awesome and have exceeded my wildest expectations.
I keep walking by the closet where the water heater is located and I just can't stop smiling because he did such a great job!

My bathroom sink was leaking like crazy. I thought a handyman had fixed it, but it turned out to be a temporary fix that didn't last. (Well, duh me.)

Here's the thing about doing business with anyone: things don't always go smoothly. What matters is how a business responds to problems. Happy Plumbing came through with flying colors.

This was supposed to be a simple job. Replace the pea trap under the bathroom sink. First of all, Paul made sure that he could replace the metal pipes with plastic ones. Apparently, not every building allows it. Turns out it's just the pipe coming out of the wall that has to be metal. But he bothered to check.

He provided an estimate on the spot and I signed the approval on his iPad. The work is guaranteed for one year.

Unfortunately, there was an issue with the angle at which the main pipe came out of the wall. He really tried but just couldn't get things to line up. After a couple of hours, including two trips for parts, he made arrangements for his boss, Blake (the owner), to come out the next morning.

Blake was on time, quickly fixed the issue, and did not charge more for the extra parts. That's how a company should deal with a problem. Resolve it quickly and keep on smiling.

I would absolutely call Happy Plumbing in the future. I recommend you do the same.

Blake and Team were GREAT from start to finish. My home is older (1928) with really old cast iron plumbing that needed to be replaced. And it was underneath the house in very small crawl space. Blake and his Team were under there for hours and didn't complain at all! They fixed everything in a few hours and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

Our kitchen sink drain was acting up. So ultimately I called the plumber. As it turns out it there was a clog about 10 to 12' down the drain causing the trouble. Efren worked to clean out the clogged drain. He offered to camera the drain so we could get a better look at the condition of our old cast iron drain. We discovered a noticeable amount of scale build up and observed what appeared to possible questionable integrity of the actual old cast iron pipes. Happy pluming returned and power blasted the majority of the build up from the inside of the plumbing. With further camera inspection we could better asses that there was still valuable life left in our 60+ year old cast iron drain. Thus not requiring a new drain or relining the pipes at this time. We are grateful for their professional and responsive service reconditioning our drain to good working order.

I used happy plumbing to fix my bathroom and the plumber identified the problem which was the wax seal on the floor. However he mentioned the unit in the water tank was old and suggested he could replace it as well. All set and done was $600. However, the water leak again 11 months later. I chatted with the customer service on Tuesday and they said the office would contact me asap. They went Mia and so I called them on Thursday. The lady on the phone insisted that the warranty was over and I told her it was within a year. They claim to offer a year warranty on labor and part and fail to honor this. What a shady business. They sent someone over and the dude looked at it & told me the 3 parts weren't included in the invoice. He asked it will cost another $400 to get it fixed.. The invoice wasn't even what It was and they changed the description to justify of why they couldn't fix my toilet. Shady shady shady!

At the end, I went to Home Depot to buy the entire kit for $20 and the kit offers 7 year warranty. I fixed the toilet by myself‍

Avoid this place at all cost.

Subpar work
Refuse to honor warranty.

I called them because I was concerned about black flakes coming out of my bath faucet. Before they got here I removed the escussion and removed the bath cartridge. When they got here I showed them the black plastic that I pulled from the pipe. I mainly wanted them to find the source of the black plastic as that is what my main concern was. The owner brushed my concerns to the side and just wanted to replace the cartridge (that I can do by myself). He went to his van to see if he had the part. He said he didn't have it and went to Home Depot to get the part. They come back an hour later with the part and replace it in 5 mins. He has the nerve to charge me 280 dollars. 80 for the part (when in reality the part is only 50 dollars at Home Depot) and hour and half labor, because he didn't have it in his truck. My real concern about the black plastic coming from the water lines never resolved. I will not be using them again in the future.

This company installed a Hot water heater in my home. Not even 2 years later it exploded. Unbeknownst to me (being I'm not a plumber) it was not properly installed. I made multiple attempts to the company for them to fix it. I received responses any liscensed plumber can help you , it's a big job . I reached out to the company for the information as to where the HWH came from, I received no response. I later learned the plumber that installs the HWH is supposed to register it. This wasn't done neither. I gave this company multiple opportunities to help me and not until I sent a certified letter did I receive a call, and to this date still have not received the purchase information. I had to do the foot work myself and track down where the HWH came from ( took some time). All the while I had no hot water during the holidays no less with multiple family members in my home. Completely unacceptable.

Had a drop in water pressure at my house and I was worried I had a leak somewhere. I submitted an inquiry on their website late at night and they called me at 8 o'clock the next morning and the tech was here at 9 o'clock in the morning and all he needed to do was adjust the pressure valve. They only charged me a diagnostic fee to just the valve and make sure there was no other leaks.

We were having flooring installed, and the installer accidentally nicked a water line behind the refrigerator. I at first called another plumbing company, and when they came out, the plumber let me know that it cannot be fixed, unless we do a full reroute of the line through the house, etc. etc., and it would be quite expensive. He then told us sorry, but he can't help us. I called Happy Plumbing and spoke with two very nice people, and in an hour I had Jake come out to assess the situation. He said he would find a way to get it done, and he did. Not only was his attitude great, but he was very professional and got the job done at a reasonable price. This is the BEST plumber, I have ever used. When I smelled a gas leak at my home, I foolishly called SDG&E, only to have some doofus show up 7hrs later, shut off my gas and tell me to call a plumber!! I'd heard good things about Happy Plumbing thru NextDoor, so I called Blake. He and his partner came out the very next a.m., found the leak, capped it, turned my gas back on (SDG&E erroneously told me THEY would have to restore my service) then returned on Mon. to fix the leaking pipe and replace the valves on my other gas pipes. All for a very affordable price. Courteous, knowledgeable (especially about my antique O'Keefe & Merritt stove) and prompt. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Happy Plumbing.

Had a very bad leak hot water in the shower- it was 8 pm - the adjoining room felt like a sauna. Called Happy Plumber and Garrett B came out! WOW!! He was fast, competent, had the valves in hand ( just from a picture of the faucets with the handles on) he was professional and prepared. He was not there long and everything was in great working order after he replaced thaw valves. It looked and worked beautifully
Besides doing an excellent job Garrett was polite, friendly, personable, considerate and careful.
He wore his mask and cleaned up everything after himself. Just an amazing EMERGENCY Plumber. I would highly recommend him and the company because this horrible situation was so well handled and quickly resolved. He arrived within the hour fixed the problem in no time! I could not be happier

Happy Plumbing = Happy Customer. These guys are awesome. My husband & I recently bought a house and sure enough, our small remodel turned into a full-blown renovation. I've had issues calling plumbers, they book a time and then don't show up and when I call or they call me, they say they had an emergency and try to rebook another time. Needed a 25+ year old toilet replaced that was leaking from base and not water saving. They did an AWESOME job! They recommended a Toto brand toilet to fit in the space and cover the old footprint. Worst plumbing experience ever. I booked an appt for 8am-12pm. At 12 pm I called to ask why no one showed up. Blah blah. Now I have been waiting over 5 hours and made about 4 phone calls. They keep saying they will have technician call, he's finishing up in the neighborhood, etc etc but, nothing. It's only a clogged kitchen drain. I would cancel but I want this done today. No one knows what is going on and no one cares. This is a nightmare. DON'T use this company.

I had some plumbing projects and originally found a handyman off of Craigslist. He completed most projects but had a lot of trouble with an old toilet installed in 1993. After replacing most of the parts, the toilet still leaked. I decided to have the toilet removed and replaced with a new Toto toilet.

I called Happy Plumbing and Travis came out the next morning. He even called to let me know he was running a little late, and I appreciated that.

Travis replaced the waterline valve and hose, installed the toilet, and let me know about a another potential plumbing issue that may happen in the future (replacement of the drain below the toilet). He also installed a new showerhead I bought off of Amazon.

All in all, I was very happy with this company and glad I contacted a professional plumber to do this job.

Our bath sink water level was increasing with no apparent source of the water. The faucet was not leaking. Unfortunately, by the time we discovered the problem, the water had overflowed the sink into the cabinet and floor. Of course it is Saturday afternoon! I was able to get this plumber to our home within an hour. He cleared a drain blockage and discovered the source of the water came from a condensation line from A/C that drained into the clogged drain! Thankfully, it was a Hsppy ending!

If you are reading this, you are in trouble. Something is clogged. Something is bubbling over. Something won't drain. Bad things are happening.

Don't waste another minute, please call Happy Plumbing. Clint is an absolute godsend. A prince of a fellow. He came to our house on an emergency call on Thanksgiving Eve. When he tested the pressure, water shot from THE ROOF. From the roof to the sky, a vertical tunnel of water like an absolute horror movie.

At that moment, Clint could have charged me whatever he wanted.
Because:
a) Day before Thanksgiving
b) Did I mention water exploding from the roof?

But instead, Clint figured out the issue straightaway, gave me every confidence that he would fix the problem, and gave me a very reasonable price upfront. The problem was a lot of work, requiring 70 feet of snaking and a lot of manual labor. He was as calm as could be, allaying my concerns.
Even the stray cat we take care of, notorious for avoiding everyone, came out to give him some meows, surely sensing a kind soul who saved the day,

Just call Happy Plumbing, don't waste your time elsewhere! Just do it right now! That Drano is not going to help you! Call Happy Plumbing. Be happy again.

Called Happy Plumbing due to having sewage come out of the bottom of my toilet and overflowing my bathroom. I explained the situation to them and they responded promptly to my call and scheduled a technician to come day of.

Unfortunately a couple hours after booking, I got a phone call from happy plumbing saying that their technicians were having difficulty at an earlier job and may not be able to come that day. I appreciated the update and they were empathetic to the urgency of my situation. Though nobody could come that day, they scheduled me to be the first person they saw the next morning.

The technician called and was on time. Clint was clear and transparent on everything they did and confirmed what was to be done in regards to the clog I had in the sewage line. There were no hidden fees and I was pleased and educated on what happened and potential future expectations. Happy overall with the updates and follow ups with my calls, especially while I was stressed. Thank you!

Marcos and Mike were at our property for a week working in tight spaces to replace an old gas line and router some drain lines under sidewalks, under the house, through heavy roots and trees. Jake came out the day after we called to clean the storm drain lines on our rental property on Saturday before Hurricane Hilary hit San Diego. He was able to remove much of the dirt though televising of the lines showed an odd layout that was not easily cleanable. We were very impressed with Jake's knowledge, diagnostic approach, and problem-solving. And he's a really nice guy! Also, Happy Plumbing's price was very reasonable. I contacted Happy Plumbing regarding a broken kitchen pipe that must of been leaking for quite a while by the amount of water under my house. They sent out Efren Diaz for an estimate. I liked him right away. He was friendly and very professional. He gave me an estimate that I thought was very reasonable and so I agreed to have them fix it. It was late in the day so we we had Efren start the following morning. Efren showed up right on time the next day excited to start the job. We had an angle stop burst in our house and Happy Plumbing was the first to actually pick up and set an appointment with us. They were super flexible and able to accommodate a different appointment time the very next day and were very respectful of floors and my work-from-home appointments and were professional, knowledgeable, and fixed my problem super quickly. They even took a look at the water damage and recommended another company to come help with the water damage - I may not have even thought about that but I am so glad Happy Plumbing recommended it! I had them look at all the other water fixtures in the house and they wrote down what did and didn't need to be replaced - old house, probably with original plumbing, but noticed the newer fixtures and didn't try to fix more than was necessary.

Called Happy Plumbing to get a gas line clamped and moved into the wall as it was no longer being used and get a quote on some plumbing work. Was told there was someone available same day which worked for us. Got a call from Jake when he was on his way, he arrived promptly as scheduled.

Jake quoted the gas line on the spot, and said he could get the job done there and then as long as he had the parts he needed, which he did. Work was done, quickly and efficiently, despite an unforseen hiccup (no fault of his- xray vision into the wall would have come in handy!).

Drywall damage was as expected.

Jake was super polite and open to me asking questions to apease my curiosity on the process as he went along. He cleaned up on the way out. Price was comparable to other quotes we got.

Looking forward to reviewing the estimates on the other plumbing we had him look at.

Clint was awesome. Wednesday night randomly both of our toilets were clogged, bathroom flooding, sewage coming up into the shower, it was a mess. I called Happy plumbing the next morning and they said they would send someone out between 12-3. Ok that's fine, except I'm pregnant and currently have no working toilet lol. I called back and let them know that and then got a call from Clint. He got the message and squeezed me into his morning scheduled and was there in 15 mins. The pipes needed to be flushed so he had to come back with the correct equipment in a few but he was funny, kind, fair, and explained everything in a way I could understand. Would definitely recommend using Happy Plumbing.

My toilet in the master bedroom was ghost flushing. David from Happy Plumbing came out to fix the problem. I had already researched the problem and was aware that it was not a major problem. The gasket, cap .... most likely needed to be replace. He kept staring down the toilet tank and said I see nothing happening! Of course the probability of it ghost flushing was not going to occur which he stared into the tank. His remedy was to either replace the toilet tank or the entire toilet which he quoted a price of $1000. Or if he replaced the cap the price quoted was $275. I redirected him back to assessing the gasket, cap etc. When he was about to get in his van to leave my neighbor mentioned the expansion tank on top of my water heater in the garage. He immediately measured the water pressure and said it was low and quoted a price of $800 to replace the valve. It was obvious that his intent was to upsell and get as much money from me possible. After he left I called a sole owner plumbing business in my area. He came and quickly assessed the problem. Charged me $105 for coming out and $20 for the part which he had in his van. David, on the other hand, had stated that if it was one of the parts in the tank. he doubted whether it was still being manufactured! Prior to David coming out Donny came out twice before for Happy Plumbing. He was ethical and professional and fixed what needed to be fixed. No upselling. I understand he is no longer with Happy Plumbing. Will never go back to them for plumbing services.

Was recommended to Happy Plumbing from a coworker/friend. So on Monday I submitted an online request to have a couple issues looked at (nothing too urgent) and within an hour I was contacted and had an appointment that day. The technician arrived early, but called to let me know and ask if that was okay, and within 30 minutes gave me a quote for our toilet and shower with a good explanation.

I scheduled work a few days later, mostly because I wanted to try some of the tech's suggestions to see if they would resolve/remedy the issue with our hot/cold in our shower and the recirculating system we installed several years ago.

On day of appt the tech arrived right in the middle of the 9-11 window, he called when he was on his way, and fixed our first issue with a toilet (and ensured me there was no damage to the sewer line). We then discussed the shower issue further, our experience between Monday to Thursday with his suggestions, and he then suggested another easy fix to see if that worked. It was so nice to have a plumber suggest common sense solutions before charging me lots of money to completely replace something that may or may not be the source of the problem. Awesome!! 2 shower heads, 2 shower dials, 2 toilets, and a sink (now I have Christmas songs stuck in my head).... but anyways, GREAT WORK, friendly people, and very efficient once they got started.

The crew was even patient enough to put up with a 30 minute search for the water shut off valve in the condo since the HOA had given bum instructions. I know where I'm calling anytime I run into a problem in the future

The best and most efficient plumbers I've encountered!
The owner was quick to answer my late night phone call to help me through everything with a huge clog in my house. He walked me through how to exactly check what was wrong over the phone. This was a very convenient and efficient way to get a diagnosis so I wouldn't have to worry through the night.

They really try and work with your schedule and are very quick! They came the very next day and gave me a time frame of when they could make it over since I had work.

What I absolutely love about this, is that they answered their phones! What great customer service! Thank you so much for all the hard work!

They are a a little pricey, but what plumber company isn't. It's pretty standard for pricing from what I've seen.

After experiencing a no-show from another plumbing company, and with a large party scheduled at my house in less than 24 hours, Happy Plumbing came to our rescue. Even though it was late Saturday afternoon, Travis and Garrett showed up, used a camera to identify the problem areas, explained our options, and unclogged our sewer drains. They were professional and informative, so much so, that we'll use them again on future plumbing projects. Highly recommend!!!

Clint came to our house to check our leaking water heater and determined that the problem was the connecting piping above the water heater, went out and bought some pipe and repaired the leak. We saved thousands of dollars not having to replace our existing water heater. so happy I called them and I will again.

Happy Plumbing is a reputable honest plumbing company. They hold the highest of standards.

Blake, the owner is the one who came to my rescue after a busted pipe in the master bathroom, that resulted in a flood. He came in a timely manner and was professional and knowledgeable as well as polite and personable. He took no time to assess the problem at hand, and take care of it right away.

I am extremely happy and satisfied with Happy Plumbing!! I have had so many bad experiences with previous unnamed companies, that I feel so lucky to have found Happy Plumbing!!

Happy Plumbing replaced a leaking gas line valve to our oven the day after we called. They showed up as promised and gave us a fair quote, and did the work in the same appointment. The technician's name was Efren and he had a great attitude. He went over the repair and cost patiently, and was very courteous and respectful of our home. A fairly priced plumbing company is hard to find in San Diego, so we are glad we found Happy Plumbing!

I would never use this person for plumbing! He is crude & unprofessional.

When driving on the freeway, he was in the right lane (slow lane out of 2 lanes only) on the I8 freeway & I was in the left lane (the fast lane) I was going faster than the slow lane as it was a little backup up. He was in between 2 slower trucks. I saw him put his blinker on to come over & then slightly swerve to come over (looking as if he wanted to get out from in between the 2 slow trucks), so I stepped slightly on my breaks to allow him to come over, as he was pretty close to me coming up, but then he all of a sudden swerved back into his lane as if he saw me & didn't want to cut me off since I was going faster (as with all the other cars in my lane- I was going with the traffic). I thought he was being thoughtful to not cut me off, which I appreciated so I didn't have to slam on my breaks, so therefore I continued going, thinking he was just being considerate.

Boy was I wrong! He proceeded to come into the fast lane behind me right when I passed speeding up on me aggressively & flipping me off for a good 10 seconds, continuing to ride me until we both got off on the same exit.

I was scared thinking he was going to run me off the road or follow me home. He was extremely crude & unprofessional & very aggressive on the freeway. If someone acts like this on the freeway I would never let him in my house. I could only imagine what he would do.

Such a quick response! Garrett replaced an old leaky sink (+air hammer that sounded like a fog horn) within minutes. So friendly, had the right replacement stocked in the van, couldn't recommend happy plumbing more.

Would give 6 stars if I could. From the initial call to the end of service. Everything was smooth. Efren was our technician, and he was professional, courteous, and fast. Scheduling the appointment and having a confirmation call was also appreciative. The estimate and service costs were very reasonable and nothing was solicited to give this review.

Outstanding! When my new kitchen range arrived, the installer said he couldn't remove the old range because the gas line had been piped directly into the stove and I needed a plumber to come out and change the gas piping the reflect modern standards. I called Blake and he said he could come over in about 30 minutes, which he did. He took one look and said he could fix it in 20 mins. And he did. I really couldn't believe he quickly he cut out the piping and so my new range could be installed correctly. This was definitely one job you have to leave to the professionals because most folks don't own the kind of tools needed to complete this fix.

Happy Plumbing sent us Efram, to evaluate the approach to two projects: (1) installing a sump pump in our basement for protection against extreme stormwater events, and (2) installing a smart household water shutoff system in the event that excessive water flow (indicative of a water leak) is detected. Efram recommended cost-effective options and installed the systems 100% to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Efram and Happy Plumbing!

We woke up to a leaking water heater. I immediately started calling plumbers featured on Yelp. No one had any day of appointments until Happy Plumbing answered my call. They were able to come by within a half an hour for a free estimate!
Michael arrived promptly, explained what needed to be done and offered to begin work immediately!! I approved the new water heater/materials estimate and he began working. Michael removed the old, installed the new water heater and cleaned up the mess in just hours. He even demonstrated, in event of an emergency, how and where to turn off the gas and water for me.
Good price. Great service!! I would unquestionably use Happy Plumbing for future plumbing needs!
