Daniel helped me out while I was redoing both of my bathrooms. I did most of the work myself, but I wanted a plumber to cut into fiberglass showers and replace old-style 3 separate valves with a new single valve.
He was extremely easy to work with and scheduled around me. On the second bathroom I did the whole demo in the morning and just called him when I was finished and he arrived a little later.
Daniel is very experienced and prompt. You can ask him any question you want! I even asked advice about some plumbing stuff I did myself and he was always willing to give his opinion. I have even texted him with questions later on. It is like having a personal plumber!
Plus his rates are extremely reasonable!

This was a 10+ visit from a Lowe's contractor. After Daniel made an initial phone contact, he was out to my house in less than two hours to install a toilet purchased from Lowe's. He corrected mistakes made by two different contractors and performed the installation with incredible attention to detail. He put footies on to protect floor and explained the mechanics of the installation along the way. I will definitely use him again for other plumbing needs. He quoted some pricing for other intended projects with very reasonable pricing.
Responsive, reasonably priced, on time, polite. Used for two jobs weeks apart (1) toilet (2) garbage disposal. Excellent.

We were looking for quotes in Yelp for a 75 gallons water heater replacement. Daniel responded promptly with a very reasonable estimate based on pictures sent, whereas others insisted an onsite estimate or included price with up to code package when not needed as Daniel confirmed that our existing setup is already up to code and only replaced the necessities. He also replaced the recirculation pump and we now get hot water within seconds in the upstairs bathrooms. We appreciated his honesty, reliability, and professionalism and has earned our trust for future works. Great experience and would highly recommend this company!
Had a shower valve that wouldn't turn off completely, so called Daniel, who had done some repairs for me a couple of years ago. He arrived on time, followed covid protocol, and took the time to explain what he was doing and the part he was replacing (shower faucets need their cartridges replaced every few years--who knew?). He had no problem answering all my questions and sharing his expertise with me. The repair was done within the time he had estimated and I felt he charged a reasonable price. Express Plumbing is definitely staying on my list of preferred providers!
Our water heater stopped working and Express Plumbing was able to come out within an hour to provide an estimate. They replaced the water heater that same day. They were the only quote I received, but from what I've heard from friends who replaced their water heater Express Plumbing is very reasonably priced.

While our service was not emergent, Daniel responded promptly with a very reasonable quote and was available to repair our toilet the next morning. He arrived on-time, had all the supplies necessary in hand, and was able to perform the repair without any additional hassle. And for ONCE we weren't told that something else needed fixing! 100% completely satisfied with Express Plumbing. I had a kitchen faucet that barely had any water flow. I had called around and various plumbers basically agreed that I had a potentially serious and probably expensive water pressure issue. Express was the only one who bothered to troubleshoot the problem over the phone and came to the conclusion I simply needed a new faucet. Bought one at Lowe's, and Express installed the next day for a reasonable price. Kitchen faucet worked immediately and the water pressure was fine.

My stove had an incorrect connection (for years) with a small gas leak. Once I saw it, I called SDGE to do an appliance check. They shut off the connection, leaving me without a working oven on Friday afternoon. I requested a few quotes from plumbers on yelp and Daniel responded, figured out what i needed and showed up at 10:30 the following day. My stove is fixed, he was friendly, had reasonable rates and showed me why the connection was wrong and leaking. I'll definitely use him again when trouble strikes!
Daniel responded to my call in a fast response time, gave me a very reasonable price on the service and did quality repair in good time frame! Express Plumbing is now my go to repair!!!
Daniel is a plumbing superhero.
He arrives and sorts your plumbing problems quickly and seems to do it for the good of humankind rather than for an expensive or even average fee. The two times I called he arrived within a few hours for my non-emergency problems. The second time was for a problem only vaguely related to the first call. He refused to accept payment (!), which I (and I hope you) will also refuse. We need to keep him happy and in SD.
Thanks to meeting Daniel, plumbing problems are one thing I'll no longer worry about here.

Daniel replaced our toilet, no muss, no fuss. He was on time (a little early, actually), did the job well, left no mess at all, and took away the old toilet. I would definitely hire him again.
We had a minor issue with our toilet and Daniel responded to our Yelp inquiry super quickly and provided an estimate. I explained the details over the phone and a technician was here within 60 minutes and made the repair. This is even during the COVID situation, the technician had on a mask and gloves and went straight to work.
The garbage disposal in our condo stopped working and we needed someone who was available to fix it. This place had good reviews on Yelp so I thought I would give them a try. And I am glad I did. We scheduled for someone to come and replace the disposal. The person came on time and finished when he said he would. I paid the quoted price which was reasonable. No hidden charges or surprises. The plumber was very thorough. Happy with the service. The disposal has been working great. I would recommend them.

Had a good experience with them after our water heater went out and the home warranty company recommended them to do the work. Chris was a great technician and the people on the phone in office were very helpful every time I called. Worked fast to fit us in.

Awesome experience. Installed a new water heater with short notice and did it fast. Was very nice and professional. Will be using this company for all future plumbing projects.
Called Daniel at the last minute to install two new faucets -kitchen and bathroom - and connect remaining kitchen items (disposal, dishwasher) following installation of new kitchen counter. Fast, knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. Will call Daniel again for future plumbing needs!
Daniel answered the phone, which was a good sign. I like to patronize local, independent businesses such as Daniel's and he didn't disappoint. He was very knowledgeable and a great value compared to big box stores. He installed a solid brand hot water heater one day after I called. So easy! Daniel arrived on time to replace a toilet and shut-off valve. He removed the old caulking around the base, made sure everything was level, and hauled away all the old parts.

Daniel just finished installing 2 toilets for me for a good price. He is nice and took care around my old plumbing fixtures. He noticed that my angle stop valve was also not working fully, so he replaced that also for a very reasonable price. He had the correct and good part already in his truck.

I need a hot water heater replacement and contacted a few plumbers for a quote. Daniel at Express Plumbing offered me a very reasonable price and came to my home with a brand new Rheem hot water heater in an hour. He is honest, professional and polite, explained to me all the details about the installation and city code. My water heater is in a tight space and he finished the installation in about 2 hours. There is no extra or hidden charges. I am extremely happy with the work he did and I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

Daniel was absolutely phenomenal. I had major plumbing issues after a few visits to my local Taco Bell, and those were taken care of with really short notice and with great expedience.
He also installed new piping and a water heater, as mine were leaking.
The pricing was fair and reasonable.
5 stars... great experience and would use again! My water heater exploded and I needed a new. Thanks to Yelp's quote feature I got quotes from eight water heater companies/plumbers. I contacted express plumbing through their website one evening and received a reply from Daniel within the hour that he would be sending someone out first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, I did not see that email until I had already left the house. I called Daniel back and rescheduled for 4:00 that afternoon. I left work early and an affiliate or associate of Express Plumbing called me right around 4:00 to tell me that he was on his way. After his arrival, he checked out the problem (tub that wouldn't drain) and got to work. He was in and out within the hour. The price was way lower than I was expecting and he was extremely professional, friendly and efficient.
From the start Mike has been very knowledgeable, friendly and helped me with my plumbing issues. Mike navigated the red tape with my home warranty and worked with my schedule. The work Mike performed on my shower was professional and top quality. I was very pleased. Because of Mike I will definitely refer Express Plumbing to anyone I know in need of work.

Daniel was great and he serviced our failed toilet wax ring immediately and even installed two new wax rings (for the same price) to avoid the potential of my toilet ever leaking again into the unit below like it did. Daniel the plumber was fantastic! He showed up to install a new faucet, but the one I ordered was broken. He showed me what was wrong, told me how to get a refund, and waited for me to get a new one from the store. When I came back with the part, he got everything set up in a few minutes.

Once again Daniel hit the ball out of the park! Our HOA needed a new hot water heater for a common area space and he came out for a free estimate and advised us how a few items of our current setup were not up to code and explained what he would do to resolve the issues. His bid was slightly lower then the others we received (as part of our due diligence we had to get multiple bids) and the work was done the following day as planned and on time. Lots of the big name companies that advertise on TV are passing those expensive advertising costs onto the consumer. Who needs a big giant company doing the work when Express does a perfect job, is licensed/bonded/insured, and does it for a lower price - no brainer! Thank you Daniel for your professional work.

I got quotes on a water heater replacement from a couple other plumbers and ended up choosing Daniel because he had by far the best quote. I found him through a recommendation from my neighbor. The other plumbing companies (one of them over the phone and the other in person) were trying to push their packages on me that included lots of extra stuff at crazy high prices. Daniel told me I didn't need all that extra stuff, even though he could have made more profit off of the parts and labor. He worked efficiently, was really friendly and wore a mask the whole time. It's surprising how often other contractors have to be asked to put their masks on during the pandemic when they show up. I'll definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing repairs.
Express did a great job and did not charge extra to work on Saturday. They are quick to respond.

Daniel replaced our water heater last year and did a great job at a reasonable charge. When we had an emergency leak, we called him and he was able to fix a very complicated issue and charged less than we expected. He is who I recommend to friends.

This is my second time using Express Plumbing and again I had stellar service at a good price. We have a short term rental and our tenant said the garbage disposal stopped working. I called Daniel at 8:15 on a Saturday and he was here by 10:30. He fixed it in no time and charged a very reasonable charge. I won't call any other plumber again.
Ralph was my hero the other day! I was getting a new dishwasher installed by Home Depot when they broke the water valve under my sink. This is no good. Water began spewing all over the place of course. They had the nerve to ask if I knew a plumber that could come over right away, within their hour designated time slot for install, otherwise they would not be able to install the appliance. I took a leap and called Express Plumbing and Ralph answered the phone and said he'd be at my home within 40 minutes! And he was! He saved the day for sure and charged a very fair He is now in my phone for any plumbing need that should arise and I will be sharing his info with all my friends. Daniel was a life saver. We were having a water heater crisis and needed help ASAP. I started calling plumbers listed on YELP and was getting no where finding someone who could come NOW! Daniel was one of them. After ten phone calls, I was getting very frustrated. I didn't leave my number with anyone but told them all I would call back if the situation changed. I needed a new garbage disposal and a new toilet for my condo. This work was all covered by my home warranty and Express Plumbing showed up to perform the repairs. The plumber was professional, courteous, and did a great job with no hassles. I would recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. One other perk that I appreciated is that he didn't leave me with a mess to clean up afterwards.
Great job and fair price. Daniel showed up the same day I call and changed all the angle stops in my house (going through bathroom remodel) and moved a water line to accommodate new cabinets. Worked very quickly and clearly knows what he's doing.
Nice work, will definitely call again for any future work.
Daniel was right on time, and in describing his work in one word, I would say meticulous.
He replaced 6 aging angle stops and installed a new toilet for me, took about 2 hours altogether.
He seems to organize everything in his mind because every step he took was the next logical one to get the job done properly and efficiently.
He cleaned up everything and hauled away the old toilet and trash.
And it should go without saying everything worked perfectly.
He charged me $50 per angle stop and threw in a few new supply lines for free.
The toilet install was $125 which I thought quite reasonable considering how much work is involved, and him carting off the old one.
He explained everything in detail and took his time to ensure everything was correct and worked as it should.
He also used an app on his phone for the invoice, which was emailed to me.
Highly recommend him as he has many years of experience and clearly knows what he's doing.
I got him to quote me for all the work via the Yelp app which is a great way to compare prices with other plumbers BEFORE they show up to your house.
Next up, a new water line for the ice maker for our refrigerator!
PS. He's in the neighborhood (North Park/Hillcrest) so he's a local which makes it even nicer.
Was trying to do a DIY kitchen faucet change and got stuck. Then realized I couldn't put the old one back together again. Called express plumbing. Very fair quote. Within an hour he was here. 30 mins later new faucet installed. Friendly helpful and totally worth it. Wish I hadn't wasted the 3 hours of the morning and just called from the start.
Was assigned this company by my insurance warranty carrier and the technician Mark is knowledgeable and professional. I would use them even if they weren't assigned my Insurance company

Daniel is amazing. I was having an urgent issue that needed to be fixed the same day and he was the only one willing to come out and fix the issue.
After that issue I had him work on a couple other plumbing items in my house and couldn't have been happier. We was very professional. He showed up on time was responsive to both phone calls and emails. Prices seemed to be industry standard if not a little bit below which is always nice. You can tell he is a hard worker that loves his job. Would for sure recommend him over bill howe or any other plumbing company in San Diego.

I own a rental property in Northpark, but I live in the northern part of San Diego County. I needed a plumber to replace the kitchen faucet in my rental property. Daniel was amazing! I had an excellent experience with Express Plumming & Water Heaters. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be home at the time of Daniel's visit. Regardless, Daniel called ahead to review the visit, was on time, wore a mask and called me back with his recommendations on how to move forward with my issue. I highly recommend Express Plumming & Water Heaters.
Here within ten minutes of my call, fixed a problem with my water heater that I created in about 20 minutes, charged me a low flat rate. Blown away by the service level and value. He also took extra care to make sure he left everything clean! I will never go anywhere else for another plumber ever.
Excellent work and very professional! They give you tips and advice on the current status of your plumbing so you dont get surprised with flooding or other emergency plumbing issues! They are quick and flexible with scheduling!
This is seriously the best plumbing company you can hire. I called in the afternoon to make an appointment and since it wasn't an emergency Daniel said he'd be here in two days. The next day he called because he had a little time and could come by, but unfortunately I wasn't available. We kept the original appointment and he showed up exactly when I expected. He said he expected to arrive around 9:00 and he arrived a few minutes before 9:00, perfect! He fixed my running toilet, and when he was done I mentioned a leak from the garbage disposal under my kitchen sink, which he promptly fixed too for an small additional fee.
Since it was my first time using him, I wanted to be sure I was pleased with his work before I hire him do a few more small jobs. I was super pleased with Daniel's work, he showed up on time, he was very careful to clean up after himself, and I felt his price was fair. I will be using him again for all of my plumbing issues. He works out of the North Park and University Heights area, so he's conveniently located for all central neighborhoods.

This is my go to company for plumbing. Daniel has done 3 separate jobs for me as I upgrade the plumbing in my home. For each of the three Daniel called in advance to confirm the appointment, showed up on time, completed the work quickly and for the quoted price. He is friendly and courteous and he cleans up as he goes leave zero mess. I've recommended him to several friends and plan to use his services on my next project. If I could give him 6 stars I would!

Let me start by saying that I was out of town when it was determined that the two toilets in my condo needed to be replaced, so this project was hands-off for me which is a scary deal. From afar, I reached out to Express Plumbing after reading other positive reviews. Daniel responded to my message within the hour. He was very communicative and worked with my tenant's schedule to get the job done quickly. Daniel is a confident professional, very courteous and so easy to work with. Daniel responded almost immediately to my after hours Yelp message and set up an appointment for the next day. He worked very quickly to replace a faulty valve and toilet wax seal. I was particularly impressed by the care he took to not make a mess, and the attention to detail. His price was fair and the work was excellent, I would definitely hire Express Plumbing again and have no hesitation recommending him.

Daniel does a great job. I neglected my water heater by not draining the sediment and had to get a new one. He showed me what happened so I learned something new and he gives a reasonable rate. No complaints.
Daniel is very professional, honest, and his prices are fair. I had no luck getting the more well known plumbing companies to come out to my apartment, which is in a high rise downtown, but after reaching out to Daniel on here, I received a response right away with a quote. He showed up on time and replaced my garbage disposal with no issues.
Daniel was very prompt with service and professional in completing project - installing faucet in kitchen. Definitely recommend again.
Had a leak under the sink when water was draining from the sink .
He diagnosed that the outlet PVC was glued improperly to the drain outlet and because of how the drain was installed he had to cut a little of the wall and then he applied a flexible coupling instead of gluing it back.
Took less than 30 minutes and I'm very satisfied.
Note: I used Daniel in 2020 to reseat a toilet and that job was good too.

Daniel is amazing and friendly. He was honest and fair and quick to respond.
Daniel was able to come and fix my toilet that was leaking quickly and professionally. We got our bathroom remodeled a few months ago and I was very annoyed it started leaking again. Daniel fixed the toilet within an hour and the caulking he did around the toilet looks better than before. He did a way better job than our contractor and was reasonably priced. Glad to have found a plumber I can trust!

Honestly, I wish all plumbers are like him!
While others gave me high an estimates, Daniel gave me instructions OVER THE PHONE and helped me fix our garbage disposal, free of charge, saving us AT LEAST $100!
Let's start from the beginning. Our garbage disposal stopped working a few days ago so i've been shopping around over the phone trying to find the cheapest/best person to fix it. I assumed it wouldn't cost more than a few bucks, but was thoroughly shocked when quote after quote came and it was running about $100-200! Desperate, i tried to watch some youtube videos but obviously that didn't work out, and then i called Express Plumbing.
Without any bullshit, he goes did you try to reset button? uh..... was my reply. He patiently walked me through the procedures and Voila, my garbage disposal came back to life!
Again, i've called at least 3 other plumbers before reaching Daniel and each had a quote higher than the other. Daniel was the only one who didn't even try to give me a quote and instead walked me through how i can fix the issue. Although I do not blame the others for they have to make a profit, I applaud Daniel for his honesty. He didn't make a penny off of us this time, but we're definitely coming back for any future plumbing issues and you should too!!

Disposal wasn't working, roommate/tenant called around. Everyone quoted possibly more than $200. Daniel from Express Plumbing just walked her through pushing a few buttons and releasing, and voila! Working again. No charge. This is as good and honest as it gets.
I gotta fix the volume control valve in the pipes in my condo sometime (probably in June). Will definitely call Express Plumbing!

I called this morning around 8 and got a call back from Daniel within minutes. I needed help rerouting a gas line in our garage and he agreed to meet me at the house at 9 (within an hour!). We haven't moved in yet so I couldn't be there waiting or he could have come earlier. He was already there when I pulled up.
It was a surprisingly quick and easy fix. I had all the materials and he said he would just do it since he was already there. The actual job only took about 20 minutes and I had nothing more to worry about. He was nice, accommodating and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using them again for future plumbing jobs.
I appreciated Express Plumbing's quick response time, and their ability to get me an appointment quickly. The cost to replace my garbage disposal was $250, which is about standard. Unfortunately, the garbage disposal they installed is significantly louder than what I had before; it makes a horrible grinding noise and I try to use it as little as possible.
