We are a group of experienced plumber sewer specialists who have worked for the larger plumbing companies for years and have decided to come together to provide a service which we believe our customer's deserve without the bureaucracy of larger companies. He came out and replaced a garage disposal for a house my owns. He charged $575. I was shocked at the price. (I wasn't aware of it all until after the fact.) I tried calling but his number goes to an answering service. I thought about stopping by his shop but turns out his suite is at a UPS store. I would avoid him at all cost.

Matt & his partner were great to work with. He was very upfront about costs & what we were dealing with (severe kitchen clog that needed the lines to be flushed). The scheduler got us a same day appointment & got the follow up procedure taken care of the day  after, so we were not sitting around with a clogged gross kitchen sink for long. They guys were friendly, very clean & conscious of leaving the space cleaner than they found it. Will 100% use Matt & Elite Rooter again.

I had a clogged shower drain, though before I figured that out, I thought it was roots in the sewer line - a problem we've had before. I called four different plumbers. Elite was the only one that could come the same day. Raphael arrived on time, and ended up deciding that it didn't make sense to use the drain auger, as I had already done that (I rented a machine from Home Depot). But he thought we should take a look at the line, so he asked Omar to come by with his camera. They quickly figured out where the problem had been, and gave me an estimate for fixing it.

The thing is: THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME!!! They spent an hour and a half at my house, discussing options.

These guys are great, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Honest, knowledgeable, and very personable.

I contacted Elite rooter for a clog.  While they were there they put a camera in the pipes and said the cast iron was compromised .  I got an estimate for them to fix the compromised pipes and it was $12,000.00.  I have a friend who is a pipe fitter and he said he could do it for $3000.00, parts and labor.  When he removed the cast iron, there were no holes or cracks, the ground was dry below and no leaks.

Really nice guy. Talked through what the problem was and fixed everything quite professionally. Also identified potential other problems in pipage and offered to help fix them and didn't pressure me in anyway. Would have come fix any pipe problems next time 10/10

Called Elite Rooter and Devan came out to my home in under an hour. He was very personable and even wore booties over his shoes while in our home. We had a simple issue which took him less than five minutes to diagnose and fix. We will 100% be calling Elite Rooter if any other issues come up with our plumbing. Steven and Ehsan saved the day! We had backup in our pipes, turns out some tree roots were growing into our plumbing. I called them at 5pm, hoping that it wasn't too late as this was an emergency (couldn't use the toilet) and Steven showed up 15 minutes later. He was on his way home from work and came to rescue us! Ehsan also showed up and the two of them worked their tails off to fix our issue and they did it in an hour! Incredible!!! They were incredibly kind, helpful, and kept us informed of all the details.  I was honestly blown away and so grateful!  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys, you won't be disappointed!!

Ricardo came to our house to fix a kitchen sink leak and unclog three different drains.  Our house has a very strange layout, and all the pipes are not connected in a typical manner.  Ricardo had to figure out the issue, and tackled it!  I think he worked far and beyond, and kept a professional attitude throughout!  Thank you, Ricardo.

Christmas Eve my entire master bathroom clogged up. Sinks, shower, and toilet plugged solid. Scheduled an appointment and Elite had Kenny out to my condo the day after Christmas ready to go. He quickly assessed the situation and told me he will have to remove the toilet to properly clear the plugged pipe. I mentioned that I want to replace that toilet anyway so I ran out and bought a new toilet. He cleared the drain and installed the new toilet for me and did an outstanding job. I brought to his attention the kitchen sink is also a bit of a problem drain so he snaked it and hydro jetted the drain and it works better than it ever did! He worked his ass off and didn't slow down the entire time he was there! Very friendly and happy to explain the process. Much different than the typical butt crack plumber stereotype haha! Great job Elite Rooter!! Kenny is an asset to your company! Friendly, professional, fair, and quality service! My go to plumbing service from here on out!

Don't use these people. Scam outfit. Advertise clean any drain for $79.  If they can't fix it,  it's free.   Well they showed up and without one attempt to fix they wanted $375 to fix.   They didn't even look for the clog.  Just a kitchen sink.  We sent them packing.   On top of this they were 2 hours late and no one answers their phone.  Goes to a voice message that claimed it was full the whole day.   Worst business I ever dealt with. Stay away.

Piece of shit business owner that doesn't know left from right, with zero knowledge of any San Diego home built prior to 2000. Plumbing quotes and estimates by Elite Rooter I. E. recommendations that are unnecessary and abusive towards homeowners (elderly abuse) that are unnecessary. Scam, expensive, and out right someone who should not be taking advantage of hard working citizens that deserve the one man shop plumbers that want to be your neighbor too.

Highly recommend this business. Great value and people. Matt and Grayson came to repair a draining issue. They were both responsive, courteous, polite, professional and knowledgeable. They respected our home as they worked and communicated well through the process. I didn't know they did other plumbing work and when I found out the extent of there services I had them quote me other projects I had been needing. On December 6, 2022, Elite Rooter came out to clear a drain in the bathroom sink of an upstairs unit (A). The technician stated there was a clogged line. He also found a connection issue with the plumbing under the sink and the pipes in the wall. He said he needed to clear the line and repair the connection. I authorized him to do the work, and it was done on December 6, 2021.
On January 3, 2022 I called your company back out to the property because the tenant downstairs noticed moisture on the bathroom wall and in the medicine cabinet of the unit (B). I was told by the Elite Rooter technician that the problem was the drain pipe that connected the upstairs and downstairs units (A&B). The technician belived it was cracked and that was what was causing the leak. He gave me a verbal eastimate of almost $4,000 to remove and replace this pipe; however, I never received a formal quote. I told the technician I needed to confer with others and that I would call him if it was decided to move forward with his recommendation.
I called another plumber for a second opinion on January 3, 2022. This plumber came out to the property and could not find anything wrong with the connecting pipe that was identified by your technician. This plumber believed the problem was with the initial work that Elite Rooter performed on 12/6/22 stating that the fitting was installed incorrectly. He corrected the work your technician performed and properly cleared the line.
On January 6, 2022. I reached out to your group and let them know all of the above information. I asked for a refund for the work performed on 12/6/22. In addition, I asked for a gift card for the tenant for all the trouble they went through and for replacement of the medicine cabinet due to the water damage. I spoke with Gayson and he let me know he would authorize a refund check to offset the incured costs.
The issue with the leak was resolved; however, there was damage to the drywall in unit B by the leaking water. The drywall needed to be replaced and the bathroom painted. I called your office several times, but my calls were never returned. A decision was made to no longer inconvenience the tenant and the work was authorized.
I forwarded the invoice for the drywall repair ($360.00) and painting ($275.00) to Summer and Annette. In January, when I forwarded the invoice to Elite Rooter employees, I still had not received the refund/gift card/medicine cabinet check that was approved by Gayson; however, the check was received on 2/23/22 but dated 1/23/22.
I have made several attemps to resolve this issue both by phone and email. The outcome has been the same still working on it or waiting for a decision from someone else. This has gone on for three months. Finally, last week I was told the owner is not taking responsibilty for the damage, much to my dismay. I expect Elite Rooter to review the facts as presented here and agree that the damage caused by the leaking pipe is one hundred percent Elite Rooter's responsibility.

On Friday we called Elite Rooter for a clogged drain. They showed pic of a cracked pipe in the crawl space and quoted 2850 to replace 2 cast iron pieces to plastic and snake and clear the drain and give me camera pics.  
Matt said he would start at 7 next morning and take a couple hours.  I accepted so we could get toilets working. He could not start until 9 and then 9am became 3 pm.  The wait was for the salesman arrive and say we had a broken pipe under the City sidewalk and they needed an additional 8500.00. I asked to see the Camera pics but they only showed cloudy water. He offered to  Hydro jet for 1300.00 and said it I would not work and then I would owe the 1300.00 + 8500.00 and 2850.00

I almost signed but it was so Hi I called a plumber my son knew. Jeramy cleared the drains in 15 minutes, said there were no signs of broken pipes. He seamed to think the 2850.00 was a pretty hi quote and that I was right not to trust them on the 8500.00 quote.  His charge was 300.00.  I won't be calling Elite again.

I was in the market for a new toilet, but first needed to find a plumber to unclog my current toilet. We tried all the usual methods of unclogging a toilet, and none of them worked (that had me worried). So I called Elite Rooter, and within 12 hours they sent Eshan to my condo. To put it simply, Ehsan was awesome. In less than a minute of troubleshooting, he was able to explain that the problem wasn't a rouge item flushed down the toilet, but instead were plant roots that had grown up into the piping and flange of the toilet itself. He removed the toilet, and sure enough there were roots all over the place, and growing into the flange, basically destroying it. Eshan offered to go to Home Depot, get all the parts for the repair, deliver the new toilet to my condo and repair/install it that same day. 2 hours later, everything was completely repaired and installed perfectly. If he hadn't offered to deliver the new toilet and perform the installation, I would have waited on Home Depot for 2 weeks to finish this job. Mother Nature made this job more expensive than I expected, but Eshan and Elite Rooter made it all worth it. Seriously thank you Eshan! This is one less think I had to worry about today!

The toilet was leaking under the house emitting a foul order into the bathroom.  They came out, assessed the problem thsolution, gave me  an estimate.   They fixed it even quicker than they thought.   They were very professional. A year ago, Kyle and Elite Rooter team completely removed and replaced old plumbing (plumbed with no slope/grade starting at the sink) from kitchen sink all the way to city connect point. Amazing job, quick, clean, and professional. Just today, Kyle came to the house on short notice (1hr after I texted) - because the sink backed up again. No fault to them, the long run from sink to outside connect point doesn't allow for much slope. We need to be more selective about what we put down the disposal because of our situation. I called Elite yesterday at 3:30, and Patrice took the call with a smile and magic, because 15 minutes later Elite called to say help was on the way, and 15 minutes after that Cody Catron arrived.  What good luck!  Cody examined the clogged drains and explained the probable solution to me so intelligently and courteously that I thought he deserved a tip and he hadn't started working yet!  He did the job efficiently and neatly, leaving my kitchen cleaner than when he started.
All this for a special sale price -- one of the best bargains in San Diego.  I plan to keep Elite's number (and Cody's name) on file, and won't hesitate to call again.

The only positive was the interaction with Matt. But even after he attempted twice to clear my kitchen drain (snake) the company did not charge me.  That was the good part. The negative, another company came out and within 15 mins the drain was cleared using the same process as elite rooter.

Fantastic experience! We were struggling with a clogged pipe for a couple weeks, and Elite Rooter of San Diego came to our rescue.

The pre-appointment coordination went smooth, and they were able to accommodate my last-minute appointment change.

Ramon was very friendly and informative. He walked me through the issues, provided multiple recommendations with no pressure, and solved the backup.

I called them because I had a plugged up kitchen sink, some potato peelings got past the strainer and went down the drain, So I knew what caused it. The plumber tried to snake it from the roof but was going in the wrong vent pipe  and couldn't get to the blockage. He calls his supervisor and they put a camera in the vent over the bathroom next to the kitchen and said that they couldn't find anything but they needed to install a clean out in the wall so they could snake the bathroom. He could have snaked it from the roof and been done in 10 minutes but instead came up with every reason why he had to put in a clean out. It was 675.00 to snake my drain. DON'T  USE THESE GUYS!

Brandon is awesome! Had a different plumber come out to fix our clogged main line and 30 mins later it  did it again. Brandon came out and solved the issues on his first try! Didn't rush, took the time to be sure he was thorough. Since this has happened in the past and seems to reoccur Brandon spoke with me about options to resolve the problem long term or permanently. I will definitely call him when I decide to do that. I recommend two thumbs up!!! ASk FoR BRANDON!!

I finally had the dreaded main sewer line failure, an inevitability in my mid-century built neighborhood. Unfortunately I was not pro-active and had to deal with it in an emergency situation. Enter Elite. All good adjectives; professional, friendly, clean, neat, and super hard working people. It's a painfully expensive job, but they did it correctly, quickly, and were super considerate. Our three kitchen sinks clogged seriously. We hired a handyman but he could not do the job. I sent a quote request on Yelp and Elite Rooter responded me within a few minutes politely, and told me that they have a $79 drain cleaning special and could send the technician the same day.

The technician, Steven, came to our house within about an hour. He was very professional and friendly. He explained the situation to me and got the drain cleaned quickly with his power snake. He cleaned the job site and also recommended a long-term solution for us to consider. Steven is the best plumber I have ever worked with!

I am very happy about their responsiveness, honesty and professional service and their service fee is very reasonable.

I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors and friends. Thanks!

Our kitchen sink started leaking and needed a quick fix over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Our normal go-to plumber couldn't get someone out for a few days, so we started the search. We found Elite Rooter, called them at 7:30am and had a plumber here by 9:30am. Shane was fantastic, called to let us know he was on his way was polite, professional, and fixed our leak. Too pricey. Asking for $20,000 and says they'll finish in 2 days. Found other plumbers who can do the job for less than $2000 in the same time frame. Plus supervisor is rude. Look somewhere else unless you want to be ripped off.

This company is amazing !!!  Salvador from San Diego and Matt we're out the first day. We had a few others come and snake and the problem was bigger then we thought. These apartments were built in the 1930's so you can imagine what was in the pipes !!! They had all tools all sizes ! Cameras big and mini !!!  Matt was very informative. They were super professional and did not leave until the job was done !!!!  Devon the owner stopped by and gave us details of the job. Sal is a super hard worker and very detailed while explaining the situation . It was almost 9pm and he didn't want to go without tackling the problem we had to make them go home and get rest and the next day Sal was here super early and with determination was back to work!!  He got it done we have our kitchens back and  cleaned up before leaving !!! He amazing !!!! Ask for Salvador !!! He rocks!

Kailib came over same day (within two hours).  He explained what he thought our low pressure issue was very clear and understandable in lehman's terms.  He provided a fair and reasonable quote.  The following day he showed up promptly on time, wore booties in the house, brought a tarp as to not make a mess, and completed the work in record time.  I was VERY satisfied with the work as well.  Great company to use for any plumbing needs.

I wish I could choose all options of why they're great! But in the process of moving, as I started moving things out of my sink I realized I had a slow leak that have been there for a while I didn't know what to do.  I got in contact with Elite Rooter and they replied quickly with multiple times I could choose for the same day for a technician to come out and take a look. Robert (senior technician) was right on time they called me an hour before to let me know they were on their way. When he got here he had booties to put on his shoes so that he wouldn't track anything into my home, which was so appreciated because I have only carpet. The whole time Robert was very communicative about what was going on and what needed fixing. And cherry on top he was extremely kind to my overly anxious and excited dog.

I had a very complicated outdoor drain issue that is too involved to go into in this review.  Bottom line, Kristian and Frankie REALLY CARE.  They are prompt, courteous, knowledgable, and have excellent problem solving skills. Kristian was asked by the HOA Board to write a letter describing the issue, to be presented at a meeting. Kristian took the time AFTER HOURS to write the document THE SAME DAY I ASKED HIM TO - It was a clear, coherent, careful, intelligent description of the issue.

He & Frankie brainstormed several ways to remediate the problem - taking time and cost into account.  They met with my neighbor - scoped her drain lines at no cost - and put in about 5 hours of discussions regarding planning options, over the course of ten days.  Elite Rooter and Kristian and Frankie have an extraordinary work ethic and come from a place of YES. It is very refreshing in 2020 - especially during this pandemic with all the stress. Hiring Elite Rooter and asking for these two gentlemen to be your technicians - will help you feel comfortable that you are in extremely capable and caring hands that will get to the root of your problem.

So had a problem with my tub not draining and Bill Howe was going to charge me extra because it was after hours. Even though it was a Monday around 2pm so whatever.

I called Elite Rooter and they charge by the job not by the hour like Bill Howe. Within an hour Ehsan was here and he fixed the problem in 5 minutes.

Ehsan was very friendly and he put on his booties before coming in. Plus he explained how everything worked on and what he was going to do. If I have any issues at all I'm for sure calling Elite Rooter and will ask for Ehsan!

Can't say enough amazing things - highly HIGHLY recommend. Came home from work to discover raw sewage had exploded out of my tub/toilet and run down the hallway (1920's original wood flooring). Elite Rooter responded right away, was there in 15 minutes (called ahead with ETA) and stayed until the job was done right. Steven was consummate professional: extremely knowledgeable, polite, quick, efficient, clean/respectful (wore fabric booties), trustworthy (explained issue, offered to show landlord camera photos) etc., etc. The stated price of $79 is an INCREDIBLE value. Matt and Ehsan came out to the house. They were able to immediately diagnose the issue. Ehsan was able to make a brilliant temporary repair so we would have water until a new valve arrived. Matt replaced a cartridge to fix a leaky bathtub. Ehsan and his crew quickly and professionally replaced the valve a week and a half later. He called 30 minutes before he arrived. I would give them 5 stars, but the communication could use some work. I understand that the valve was obscure and hard to get. However, there were three days that I or my wife stayed home from work and waited for a plumber that never arrived. I would need to call to discover that our appointment had been rescheduled for a later date. Ultimately, the valve was replaced and I'm happy.

Same story as others.   See Ami S. of San Diego.  Contacted Elite Rooter at 10:00 am for a simple stopped up kitchen sink.  They quoted $79 to unclog and would have someone here between 12 and 2.  At 2:30 I contacted them again.  They promised 3.  Actually showed up at 4.  Then they said that because I didn't have a clean out tap on the other side of the wall (the living room) the charge would be $179.  How many homes have a clean out on the other side of the wall?  $79 was a total scam and a bait and switch.  DON'T BELIEVE $79.  Well because of the time, it was obviously too late to get someone else in that day, so I agreed to the higher charge.  They did unclog the sink so I'm giving them 2 rather than 1 star.

I called to set up an appointment because i was not getting hot water upstairs,.Carlos showed up and after 10 seconds, he said just call the manufacturer because its under warranty and order we can install it for 1800 dollars. Wow,.what an idiot,.is this how this company works? Cant fix problems so replace it instead so they can profit for installation instead of repair. Well the hot water heater is not under warranty anymore and the problem was the gas control valve,.so i guess i need to call another company since Elite Rooter cant fix a problem.

Morghon and Matthew with Elite Rooter came out to the house for a drainage/plumbing issue on our older 1960's home.  It turned out the original pipes were still in use and they were so corroded and the toilet pipe had major issues also.  We were lucky that there had not been a much more disastrous incident.  Morghon, the senior technician, suggested we replace our older pipes with new pipes and we agreed.  He and Matthew spent  all of the next day, into the evening hours, non stop, fixing our plumbing.  We were so grateful that they were able to re-plumb the house and be done in one day.  The sinks, drains, toilet and washer, etc all drain perfectly now and everything was done at a reasonable rate!  We would highly recommend Elite Rooter!  They are reliable (came within an hour of calling) professional, neat and clean, and very hard working!  5 stars easily!*****

Great service is not a one off at Elite. I had such a good experience with them back in December, that when my toilet stopped working this week, I called Elite back. Again, they were able to come out right away. Ehsan was super helpful in diagnosing the issue. My toilet is discontinued, so the parts were not readily available, but Ehsan gave me his card and said to call when the parts came in, and he'd find a way to fit me in as soon as possible, and that's exactly what he did. He also installed a new shower head in another bathroom. The price was good, the work was done fast and efficiently, who could ask for more? Thanks again, Elite! You guys are my new go-to plumbers!

Had a guy (Cameron who no longer works for the company, fired or quit under pressure not sure) come out for water backing up. First they tell us its a main line back up and it will be 7 thousand to fix. Give the green light to break open concrete, fix it and put a clean out. Then Travis (supposed manager thats impossible to get ahold of and is currently on leave) informs us that there is cast iron that needs to be swapped to plastic, 2 broken pipes and a broken flange but they can't do the pipes until contractor opens wall and they can't do flange until contractor opens up floor and total will now be 16 thousand. Okay bite the bullet and they do all the work. I call Cameron who comes back and fixes the pipes in wall, no problem. Then after flange is ready to be fixed, they claim Cameron is no longer with the company and Travis is on leave and no one has anything about fixing a flange. So now im 16 thousand in all for a non working toilet and they are trying to quote 1,100 to come and fix flange LOL. Impossible to get ahold of anyone other than their little call center. They won't give you any of the managements names or  numbers because they claim thats not how they do it GL talking to anyone if you have an issue. BBB definitely needs to hear about these guys... Should of stuck with Anderson

Also, kinda small but, the guy they had doing all the work, consistently chewing and spitting all over our backyard and front yard etc lol. Just don't use these guys...

Had a clogged shower - tried all my tricks, nothing worked.  Elite had a 'fixed price' for drain services.  Nice guy shows up, says, there's no clear out valve...have to go to the roof.. it's a big job. Price went from 79 to over 500.  I told him, the job sounds like it needs a professional who thinks it's easy, not hard.  Let him leave.  Called someone else, cleared the drain in 15 minutes without any of the nonsense of going to the roof - cost me 90 bucks.

My wife found Elite Rooter thru ThumbTack app. We needed a toilet replaced (already had the new one ready to go). The angle stop needed to be replaced too (didn't cut the water 100%), along with probably the supply line at the same time since the toilet was already going to be removed.

The tech (Luis) got here when he said he would, and was very nice. Unfortunately, he quoted me a price of $500 just to swap out the toilet, and $129 (included the part) to change out the angle stop. Way too much!! Thanks but no thanks.

Found another company that would do it for $140 for toilet and $45 for angle stop.

I had a kitchen drain that was actually a vertical line clogged. It was challenging and gushed water all over the place. Janes  was so professional and mellow. He got this water all over his face and didn't complain even a second. He had to run the snake a couple times and explained things where I know what my HOA needs to take care of now and what I can do m m ai twin things.
Excellent service, professional and punctual with no hard sales gimmicks. Great pricing snd honest! I'd give a 10 star if possible.

My kitchen sink was backed up on both sides, the water would eventually go down, but needed to be cleared.  James and Steven came on Saturday and said the pipe needed to be replaced.  I admit, my house is old and I don't think it has ever been replaced.  They quoted me a price and came back on Monday.  Only issue, they were missing a part but came back before their shift ended and completed the job.  Both guys were very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm a realtor and we needed some work done for my client as requested by the buyer. My usual plumber was on vacation, so I called these guys after a colleague referred me to them.

Mikey and Devin were helping me out and they 1) took the time to find the problem (which wasn't easy), 2) they found a solution, and 3) they charged VERY reasonable prices. To top it off: their response time was unrivaled and their communication through the process has been amazing.

so unfortunately despite a  decent initial experience, elite rooter has had terrible follow up and service for their work.  Very difficult to reach, not returning contacts, not taking responsibility for their work.  They didnt do a good job refilling the hole where the replaced pipes/sewer line was.   Now theres a sink hole there and a big space in my front yard.  They havent been willing to come address that, to check their work so that there isnt any damage and to refill the hole.  
 After thousands of dollars of work replacing pipes and sewer line, we still had a clog and no better answers from them why that would be.  This has been going on for months and just cant be a good way to do business.

A few weeks ago, I called Elite after a search for my elderly parents clogged sink. They responded quickly and cleared the blockage per their stated advertisement with senior discount.

The technician made an unexpected follow up call to advise me on a somewhat expensive procedure. He explained that he wasn't comfortable with my parents level of understanding due to their age...

My elderly folks had another plumbing issue wIth a clogged toilet. I had augered the toilet with the recommendation of the last tech that visited, with no luck. So I called late afternoon anticipating a service call for the next day, and to my surprise they sent someone out before 4:30!

Rafael came out with a second  tech and immediately assessed the situation and began work on the clean out. After have some initial difficulty (and suspecting issues from 60 year old steel/plastic sewer lines), it was  cleared as best under the circumstances.

Mark came out  with  the inspection camera and made note of the pending issues and provided some advice and a quote for repair.

After my third service experIence, I still give Elite high praise. They give honest assessments and will show you the video proof of pending issues. I wouldn't hesitate to call them in the future

I would like to give a shout out to Matt Elsa and his crew Vince. They have done such a phenomenal and outstanding job fixing my main water pipe leak and drainage blockage on sewage pipe issues. They would work non-stop to get the job done from day to night. They were very dedicated and professional for doing their job, especially when it comes to problem solving and fixing the issue. Im amazed how they set up the plans and schedule from point A to B and from day one until the estimated day, everything is on point. Also the most important thing is they dont leave any mess behind, they haul and did the clean up just like the way it was before. Im very satisfied and greatly vouch for them. They did very excellent service, courteous and great communication. They always very responsive and always check after they did their job if everything is good or if we need anything else. There is no word to describe how great and professional the way they do their job. Im very grateful that i found Matt Elsa and Vince to help me fix my plumbing and water leak issue. Last week we had the unfortunate incident of deteriorating cast iron pipes underneath my father-in-law's house. After significant investigation and photos showing the deteriorating pipes Ramon Torres and his assistant Travis did a very thorough job in replacing all of the plumbing underneath the house all the way to the sidewalk. During this process we were able to watch on the drain snake camera all of the blockage and deterioration which made us very comfortable in doing this replacement. All in all Elite Rooter and all of the technicians involved were extremely helpful and knowledgeable not to mention neat and efficient. Just had these guys come by for a drain clog issue. They were very responsive on the phone, came out w/in a couple hours on the same day, and got everything handled in no-time! Jacob Saydyk was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was doing and seeing and provided some great insight as to my kitchen plumbing. Could not have asked for anything more. A++  We recently had the opportunity to work with Elite Rooter for the first time and were extremely happy with the service they provided.  We'd had a number of plumbers out recently because our drains kept backing up.  Saw Elite Rooter on Yelp and asked them to come out.  Due to the frequency of plumber calls, Anthony and Travis suggested we take a closer look at the sewer line via camera and we discovered that the main line to the city hookup had disintegrated over its sixty year life and was actually missing pieces along the run.  Additionally, we had plumbing from the kitchen and washing machine that had never been right in the way that it connected to the main line and asked them about taking care of that at the same time.  Travis laid out the options and was able to put together a plan that combined  the two projects, saving us money in the end. Anthony, our lead technician, and his crew started just 2 days later and were amazing.  They communicated thoroughly and were quick, thorough and met every deadline.  Surprisingly, the entire project only took about 10 days with little disturbance.  The replaced all of the sewer lines under the driveway without having to damage any of the stamped concrete!  There was only minimal disturbance to the landscaping which will all grow back in no time. The garage work for the washer/kitchen required that they cut a trench through the concrete, but they recommended a concrete guy (Sergio 619-207-2726) who was equally amazing and done in one day. Thanks Elite for the above and beyond commitment to our project, even with the lousy weather throughout!

My neighbor hired this company about 2 weeks ago to clean their yard drains after all the rain we had. When they left the sediment was left in the street and piled in front of my driveway. I spoke to Pete who claimed to be a stand up guy and mentioned he would take care of it as I could be a potential customer one day. I texted him so pictures and then I spoke to my neighbor and he said he would be charged $200/hr to have this company come clean up the sediment that they left. It was suggested that my neighbor get a shovel and take care of it himself. I told him not to worry and I took care of it myself.

I admit I contacted them 2 weeks later but given what's going on with the pandemic and raising twins I just didn't have time.

It's all in front of my driveway and house and in my garage and being tracked into my house. I have 11 month old twins who are crawling and now I need to hire professional cleaners to clean my floors to make sure my twins are safe.

Claiming to be a stand up guy and wanting to resolve the issue and then wanting to charge my neighbor $200 to finish what they started is poor customer service. He also wanted me to take a garden hose and flush it myself. So spend my money and my water?  He clearly didn't want to spend his companies time and money to send someone back to a job site from San Diego to Orange County to finish what they should have done before they left.

Just a heads up I will be filing a complaint with the CSLB!

I love these guys. Great customer service and commitment to leaving the job done right. We spent a good chunk of change with them last year (April 2020) to redo all the drainage pipes in the house and a few other jobs. It took us awhile to recover and when we were finally ready to put in floors and dry wall in Feb of this year we had some gopher friends show up under the house and push dirt into my bathroom. I figured this must be an issue that came about from the plumbing job. Someone didn't cement over something? Well Salvadore and his supervisor came out (forgive me I don't remember his name but definitely one of the nicest guys around) told me not to worry. They'd take care of it and sure enough Salvadore patched things up and even added some drywall for me. Above and beyond as always. Why do I say that? Because it turns out the issue was with the state of my home and not something created by the job but they still took care of it! This is why we'll be calling them when we do our 2nd story addition. Grayson Travis and Arturo are life savers. I contacted several different companies for a drain cleaning quote.  Elite Rooter got back to me quickly and was significantly cheaper than most other companies.  I called them and they were able to send someone out the same day.  Mike (the plumber) gave me a 30 minute heads up and showed up in the time frame they originally quoted.  Nice guy and most importantly he got the job done quite efficiently! My old faucet needed to be replaced. Kailib came out, did an assessment and quickly knew what needed to be done. He recommended several products and took his time answering all my questions and helped me select the best faucet for my budget and needs. The actual repair and replacement went smoothly. This review is way overdue! AFFORDABLE, HONEST AND RELIABLE SERVICE! I will ONLY use Elite Rooter for any plumbing repairs or installations that I have! Hired this plumbing company last year to re-pipe our property. We had pavers installed on our front yard and the paver company damaged a pipe close to the main water switch, paver company did not want to be held responsible nor fix the water leak that they created! Called Elite Rooter ASAP and Devin came out to immediately work on the water leak. This company guarantees their work and will keep their promise to you, no matter how late in the day it is, Devin or a technician will come to fix the problem particularly if it is an emergency such as a huge water leak. Elite Rooter did not charge me a single penny for the repairs done. Thank you very much Elite Rooter!

I had issues with my shower faucet leaking and had to call a few plumbing companies. I was able to get Elite rooter to come out right away the same day and Ricardo was the technician.

Ricardo called me before he came over to make sure he has the right parts and he was on time. He was very attentive and identified the cartridge as the problem. The part didn't work but he stayed on top of it and came back the next morning to replace it.

Ricardo did a great job and I am happy with the overall service. In the future I will definitely use Elite Rooter of SD and ask specifically for Ricardo if possible.

Very satisfied with Elite Rooters I had called a couple plumbers trying to get a same day appointment Elite rooter was the first company that had a plumber at my house within an hour. Carlos came in figured out the problem with both my kitchen and bathroom sink in a matter of minutes! Had the bathroom sink fixed in less than 30 mins. I had to order a new faucet for the kitchen sink which he even offered to pick up from Home Depot for me and install that next morning. Great service very knowledgeable and very fair price! Last weekend after only a slight rain my patio drain clogged and there was standing water and mud everywhere. I called Elite Rooter and they promptly responded the next day. After assessing the situation, it was determined that the drain leading from the backyard through the patio to the curb needed to be hydro-jetted. The next day James and Stephen, Elite's senior technicians, worked diligently hydro-jetting the drain all day to no avail. Although they retrieved a massive amount of dead tree root that had clogged the drain there were still massive amounts remaining in the drain that proved to be impenetrable. Moreover, the drain was old and threatened to disintegrate anyway. My home is almost 30 years old.

The next day a member of Elite's management team, Mark, came out to the review  the situation and it was determined that the old drain needed to be abandoned and that a new drain system needed to be installed from the back to the front yard--a distance of 120 feet. After Mark explained my options, I elected to have the new drain system installed under my lawn rather than under the concrete where the old drain existed.

Over a 4-day period Stephen and James worked diligently to construct my new drain system using ABS pipe. They worked tirelessly and with meticulous precision to excavate portions of my back and front yard in order to install the pipe. As they lifted the sod and laid the pipe they carefully replaced the sod at each step of the way, keeping my lawn fully intact. Although there were unforeseen obstacles along the way involving massive amounts impenetrable dead tree trunk, James and Stephen were not deterred and worked tirelessly to successfully complete the job.

Elite Rooter is not inexpensive. Nonetheless, I would give the company 10 stars if I could. James and Stephen were the consummate professionals. They were reliable, always on time, friendly, courteous, and consistently caring. They worked tirelessly, making me feel like resolution of my drain issue was of utmost importance to them.

I am very pleased with the end result. James and Stephen not only successfully installed my new drain system, but they were careful to make sure everything was clean upon job completion. To my pure delight, they pressure washed both the back and front patios, leaving everything quite pristine. I highly, highly recommend Elite Rooter. Thank you so much James and Stephen--you guys are truly exceptional.

Experience was suboptimal. Lack of knowledge and they tried to do unnecessary work to get more money.

One of the horrible tenants we evicted decided out of spite to flush a bunch of stuff down the toilet to jam it up before being forced to move out. So I had to call a plumbing company to unclog the toilet that was overflowing with .

Elite rooter was running a special of $79, and that is a good deal to unclog toilet. Well, whenever the price is too good to be true, it's normally a bait and switch scheme. The technician came out and told me that the main line was clogged and that it needed to be hydro-jetted which would easily cost $700 or more. Not only was this incorrect: property has old cast iron pipes and can't be hydro-jetted. Luckily, our general contractor was there doing some work and took one look at the situation and said that's not the case, only the toilet is clogged and just to snake that instead. The technician argued with our GC for a couple of minutes and I had to step in to make a decision.  

The technician did snaked the outside pipe for the section of the toilet, and then snaked the toilet drain from the house and it was all cleared up. Although the price was ALOT more than $79. Definitely do NOT recommend.

(We thought we needed maintenance on our water heater. They told us that the only maintenance required with our water heater is to flush it out. And we can do that ourselves.) My wash basin sink was clogged and not draining when I was doing my laundry. I also saw some build up in my sewer clean out. Elite Rooter was able to come the next day (Saturday) to check out my situation. I received a phone call when they were 10 minutes away and most importantly they were on time.

The service was great. They were able to diagnose the problem and get everything unclogged during their visit. I'd highly recommend their services for anyone who is in a similar situation. I know I'll be using Elite Rooter if I ever have any problems in the future.

My toilet backed up and I needed my sewer line cleared. I made an appointment on line at 7:00am and James was onsite by 8:15. He ran 70' of cable and cleared the clog. He did not try to up sell me on any additional service, just cleared the clog and went to the next job. I highly recommend Elite Rooter and especially James.

Needed a drain snaked out but it wasn't that easy. Matt kept working at a solution and 1 1/2 hours later he found it. Clog gone. He arrived early. Kept me apprised of what he was finding. Respectful of the work spaces. Friendly. Elite offered a flat fee and that's exactly what the bill was. Not a penny more. I'd use them again.

Arturo was great, timely, and very communicative! His job was not only quick, but VERY affective. We have old cast-iron piping/ plumbing in our home, which can be difficult to work with when things go out of service, but the task didn't seem like the challenge it posed for us- our attempt to snake 15' into the kitchen drain wasn't successful. Arturo snaked approximate 40' under, and everything went very well. We're pleased with their service, and will hire again. Thanks so much!!!

Matt Elza came twice this week.  The first was to give an estimate for replacing a toilet and repairing a broken valve.  During this visit he looked at all the accessible valves and plumbing to make sure there were no other issues that should be addressed.  The second was to complete the repairs.  Matt and Danny were both professional, clean, and finished the project on time.  Hopefully I won't need another plumber anytime soon, but would definitely call them again if I do.

At the office today and we ran into a problem.  Who comes to the rescue in the amount of time quoted...Ehsan and Carlos from Elite Rooter!!! Long story short, turns out my plumbing problem is a building problem.  The main plumber hired for the job needed a water line to flush out the problem. Instead of driving away, Ehasan and Carlos offered to help the guy figure it out.  Like a plumbers union. Like real team work!  Good people work at Elite Rooter - from the dispatch lady to the team in the field.  Everyone came together to make sure everything was handled.  Folks don't do that very much anymore.  Its hot out side today, like real hot. Both Ehsan and Carlos could have been chilling in an air conditioned truck, but nope - they were being awesome! Needless to say, they have earned my future business.

Excellent response to our call for a blocked kitchen drain. Carlos was here within the hour and was friendly, courteous and very effective and hard working. Cleared the blockage but he noticed a problem far down the line. He called a colleague, Greg, to bring a camera probe in order to investigate - at no extra cost! He assured us that this was an additional diagnostic service offered at no extra charge.

We live in an old house and let me tell you the problems we ran into.  My pops found Elite Rooter of San Diego online and gave them a call. I saw one review for them and I am a very protective and skeptical person especially when it comes to my family and the house we live in.  It was a blessing finding this crew! A pipe burst above my kitchen, and I needed someone right away! My home warranty company scheduled a different plumber who was a no show. So I called Elite. Their technician, Kailib, had been out before, and I was really impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He stayed in communication, and was there when he said. He knew exactly how to pinpoint the leak and explained everything. He used care in protecting my kitchen, and cleaned up everything after. I am very happy with the service he provided.

Fantastic service! I called Elite rooter at 1pm and my problem was solved by 4:30pm on the same day! Cody Catron was my technician and he was incredibly polite, on time, and was able to fix my shower head with a broken pipe in about 5 minutes. The plumbing issue I had was a simple fix from Cody's perspective and instead of charging me an arm and a leg to fix my problem he kindly provided the service free of charge!!!! Before he came to evaluate the issues I thought my walls were going to have to be ripped out and my bathroom would need to be renovated. I would recommend Cody and Elite Rooter to anyone! Elite Rooters was referred to me by a few of my neighbors when I had a sewer line clog. Steven Johnson came out and assessed the issue thoroughly. Not only did he help with our issue, he also took the time to educate us on what we were dealing with and how to prepare ourselves for the future. He took pictures of our old cast iron pipes and helped us understand what was happening to them and how it was built for our home. Devin also came out and gave us a great education on what we were dealing with and what we should look out for if we plan to buy more houses in the future. I'm certainly glad we were referred to them! Highly recommend.

My kitchen sink as well as my laundry drain we're both blocked. I called Elite Rooter shortly before 8:00 am and Steven Johnson arrived at my door around 9:00 am. Steven promptly went to work and in a matter of a few minutes the kitchen sink was draining as it should. He then proceeded to work on the blockage in the laundry area and again, he had the drain opened and working properly. All this and he was finished right around 10:00 am.
Steven was friendly and professional and it was a pleasure to have had him working at my home. Thanks Steven, I'm more than happy to recommend you and Elite Rooter and wouldn't hesitate to to use your services again should the need arise.

Our toilet was clogged late night, and I called Elite Rooter early morning, and they were able to respond and schedule an appointment promptly in the morning. Technicians Kailib, Travis, and Mark came by and they were very helpful in assessing the situation. It turned out to be a deeper issue than I had thought. They were professional and knowledgeable, and not only offered an immediate fix to the situation but also proposed long-term situation with a detailed plan of the solution. Devin helped us out with an insurance claim from a water leak we had in our master bathroom. This was our first claim, so we were inexperienced with the process, but Devin walked us through everything and made sure that insurance was informed every step of the way. Beware of predatory quoting. I would get multiple quotes before trusting them.

Quoted me $1400 to swap my pressure regulator. Didn't even check the water pressure.... Only plumber that didn't bother to check.
Anyway, I received multiple quotes, all in the $300-500 range (part is ~$150 + labor).

Kind of in shock how egregious this was.

We had a leak in the tub drain from an upstairs bathroom.  I opened the ceiling on the first floor to gain access to the drain assembly but was hesitant to do the work myself and started a project on Yelp to get quotes.

The drain assembly was old and had corroded enough that a full replacement was needed.  The technician from Elite Rooter quoted $2137 for what turned out to be a $650 job from a different plumber.

The wild difference in price seems to be a theme with this vendor.  I will not contact them again.

Carlos is the man! He was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about his craft.

I called Elite Rooter when our kitchen sink started to clog. Carlos arrived promptly the next morning and got straight to work. The clog ended up requiring hydro-jetting, which he offered at a very fair price. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and prioritized customer satisfaction over a one-time work order.

This is an overdue review. We hired Elite through a friend's recommendation and got a different team. Unsure if it's the people they worked with vs ours that made a difference but going with Elite Rooter in general was a huge mistake on our part.

We had a root issue back in August of 2020. I'm unsure if it was because of covid protocols but they decided to get to our pipes through our home exterior. After two days of jackhammering through the concrete and house, they found that our pipes were encased in cement, I'm guess that's not how it's supposed to be done. The technician called his supervisor and he came to inspect, said they can't get to the pipe from outside and will have to dig from in. I don't understand why they couldn't do that in the first place. He used some detector thing and said the roots are in pretty deep and to get to it, they'll have to go further into our house and the quote pretty much doubled.  My husband and I just bought the house a few months ago and had new flooring put in.   We couldn't afford them and said no, we will need to look for other options. They still charged us the original quote minus $1000 (which we're still paying off) and didn't fill in the large whole that was jackhammered on our yard and house.

We were able to find another company who quoted us 1/3 of what Elite Rooter gave. They were able to remove the pipe and root from the side of our interior with minimal floor damage.

Horrible service. Scheduled them to come out on a Friday at 12. It was confirmed they would arrive around 12. Well they failed to mention it's a 2 hour time frame. Brandon then went to a different address from where I gave them so he ended up coming around 1:45 or so. He then said I needed a new cartridge, that's fine. Gave me an estimate of $550. I was willing to pay for it but needed a confirmation that was taking longer than expected. So Brandon was going to come back Saturday morning at 9am to finish the job. Well Saturday at 9am comes & Brandon is no where to be seen. I called dispatch and they said he called out sick. I told them I needed someone to come out since I needed it to be fixed by that day because I had someone staying there on Sunday. Well I got the run around from Brandon who then sent me another guy named Anthony. I have no trust in Brandon anymore, so why would I trust this friend/co worker would show up. Just a bad experience that could have been positive if Brandon would have just showed up to do the job. Ended up going with another company who I will now recommend to people.

I received a call from my Condominium HOA telling me my toilet rings were leaking and needed to get it replaced ASAP. I called Elite Rooter the morning of July 4th, they came out immediately, assessed the situation and informed me it wasn't my unit. They were accurate, up front, honest, very Professional and friendly. I will be using this company for when I need the rings replaced and for any other plumbing needs going forward. Highly recommend Elite Rooter plumbers! I recently went through a flooding issue, which started as a backed up laundry machine and turned into a 4 month ordeal that took down both bathrooms and the main drainage in my house. As chaotic as it was, I was happy to have Devin, Kyle, and Grayson helping me out. They are a very professional team, that delivers what they promise. Kyle was the point man in a week-long project that required almost 40 ft of drains in my house to be replaced.  The team put in 8-12 hour days to get it done on time. I called about a small backup in my main line. The team diagnosed the issue of root intrusions (which I was already aware of), so I figured they were trying to solve that central issue.  For $2400 (which seems very high in retrospect), they tore out a part of my patio and jet cleared the line. All that seemed to be fine, until they started on a heavy sales pitch, telling me that while the hole was open, I should replace the rest of the line for another 10k.  While I cannot verify if their assessment of the line needing replacement is true, I can verify that the heavy sales pitch and the timing of telling me seemed very calculated. In the end, I feel like I cannot trust the good intent of this company. One of the workers was also talking to me with his mask pulled down, not fully covering his face, which in the times of COVID is unsafe fo customers.

David was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, experienced, patient and thorough. He finished the job and double checked his work to make sure no leaks were found anywhere. Devan and his team really helped me out in an emergency. A main water line burst at a home I recently moved out of because I sold it and new buyers are days away from taking possession.  Devan was able to get on-site and quickly assess the broken pipe belonged to my neighbor. Cody is the Man! Yes, Cody knew his business inside and out. He patiently explained every thing. They re-did the whole main line out to the street. How he was able to know where the leaks were amazed me. There were two places where he had to cut into the cement, three actual 3x3 holes he had to dig them down to the main sewer line. Basically refortafying the 4in drain pipe by incerting a sleve to reline the pipe in some places. All toll about 70 to 80 feet of pipe. Still baffels me as to how he found the pipe as it didnt go straight out to the street like regular homes. It went around the back of the house. Even on a rainey day he was working. not only did he spend all that time educating me but he showed me first hand. They left no mess. So professional and great energy as well as good looking too!

I attempted to fix a clogged drain in my bathroom sink and ended up pulling the pipe right out of the wall. I called several plumbers to help me. Kristian from Elite Rooter came over and told me it would be a huge job, it would take half the day. He said my bathroom wall would need to be cut open. The pipe would need to be completely replaced for $1,200. The next day Mike from Regional Elite Plumbing (found him on Yelp too) checked it out and said he could repair the damage using a pipe fitting connector. Took him about 30 minutes and cost $150. My sink is working perfectly now. I would definitely get a second bid on any job before using Elite Rooter of San Diego.

I will not use these guys again.  After showing up 2 hours late, they said they could not honor the $79 drain clog special since I didn't have a clean out installed.  So the charge was going to be $350 to fix the clog....than they wanted another $315 to replace a corroded p-trap pipe.  I said forget it and called another plumber who came 2 hours later and had no problem snaking the drain (they did 65 feet even though the clog was found at 10 feet) and replaced the p-trap all for only $250.

Elite Rooter came out to unclog a sinister drain.  They sent David, The Coolest Plumber Alive, who explained in layman's terms the problems he detected.  David was professional, polite & HONEST which enabled me to make an informative decision.  Plumbing can be expensive, and here I was living in a 1960 something house with old rusty, crusty pipes & whatnot.  Sad. Elite Rooter has the know-how & equipment to get ALLLLL types of plumbing issues resolved including cameras.  The OTHER good thing about Elite (and why i called them in the first place).   If they failed to clean the drain - NO CHARGE.   Beautiful, huh?

My water heater started leaking and I needed it fixed ASAP and Elite Rooter was the first company to come out and get the job done! Unfortunately, after getting some quotes for another plumbing issue, I had two different plumbers tell me that it was not installed to code. I asked Elite Rooter to send someone else out and Rob came to the rescue. Had these guys come to clear a clog in the kitchen sink drain. Then decided to have all the drains water jetted. They removed and reinstalled all our toilets to do this. The next day we had water coming out of our ceiling. One of the toilet drains from upstairs was leaking underneath the floor and coming out downstairs. We called them back but they were closed so I left a message (still haven't heard from them months later). Then I called an emergency plumbing service through my insurance. They found that the upstairs toilet was reinstalled with an old wax seal which caused the leak. The plumbers left for lunch for about 3 hours and mentioned they had to go to several different stores to buy more wax seals. I guess they didn't end up finding enough.

As for the actual water jetting, they used a machine that was leaking all over the place and made a huge mess in my house.

My mom asked me to write this review for our family. We had a mainline back up in our home that was on going for two days. That caused major damage to our third bathroom and half of the bedroom. My mother met Cain as he was working on our neighbors house on his other project and stopped by to ask him about our issue. He immediately rushed over to our house to check out what was going on. He assured us he was going to take care of us. He got his boss in immediately who set up restoration for us and demolished our bathroom so we wouldn't have any mold growing they cleared our line but told us it was going to be a issue within our pipes. About two weeks pass by and my father called elite rooter because as Cain had mentioned it was a problem in our pipes and the mainline backed up again. Elite rooter assured us Cain would be out. He called us to let us know about a ETA because he was on a project in North County. He mentioned he had been working all day long since 8 AM when he arrived it was 8:30 PM out of business hours which we really appreciated him doing when he could've been at home. He stayed out until 1230 midnight determined to take care of this problem for us. When he couldn't clear the issue with the machine he had he told us he could be back out first thing in the morning with power machine. We weren't able to afford it at the time so he gave my parents a tremendous senior discount. He was able to clear the issue that morning as he promised. What a rockstar tech. We appreciate His customer service skills and his knowledge of the work he does we will be calling Elite and recommending them to everyone we know keep up the good work kid you're doing great !

Elite quality service at a elite price.

I have a shower valve leakage to be repaired ASAP.
This was only company in my area with next day availability to inspect the issue on a weekday.
Their representative is very friendly and cordial, walked-me thru the initial steps to deal with the issue and insurance company, and totally got my trust.

This review only got an OK rating because of their prices.
I am still trying to swallow a $475 charge (not including the leakage investigation fees) to replace an ordinary Moen valve cartridge.

My wife called them since we have some issue with the toilet/calcium deposit. So the plumber went on our house and stated that we need a new toilets due to calcium deposits, first he tried to rip me off for a 1000$ replacement for two toilets (wow)... i dont care if he said 20 year warrantly but a 1000$ replacement...thats kinda a scam!!. After a few minutes he ended up lowering the price for 600$ for 2 toilets plus the installation. So me and my wife decided to tell them that we will call him back because it still expensive!! Meanwhile the plumber said due to the fact that he use his machine which cost 69$ at HomeDepot they will charge us 79$ which when we called the assessment and diagnosis fee is free.. I mean how can you assess or diagnose without using equipment? In the end I use vinegar and baking soda to removed the calcium deposit plus acidic solution which cause me 30$. Bottomline... there maybe expert but they will try to ripp you off as much as possible!! If you think the price aint right then say something!!!

Called two plumbers these guys came first they tried their hardest to get me to trust them even going as far as pulling out all their gear for free to diagnose a problem. They tried to get me to pay a couple thousand to redo all my plumbing. Even though The problem they told me about seemed like a common sense quick fix. The second plumber I called showed up to fix my problem gave me a free part and left without any Convo. Just looking out for anybody who wants a honest plumber

We called Elite Rooter to come and fix our clogged Kitchen sink. Devin ( the Division Manager) came to the house himself due to how busy they were that day. He was right on time for the scheduled appointment. They have a flat fee of $79.00 to do a basic clogged drain, ours was a little tricky, but he did everything he could to unclog the drain without having to pull out the big guns  and Hydro Jet the line. ( would have cost additional $200) He was polite, professional, and communicated everything he was doing as he went so there were no surprises. I HIGHLY recommend these guys, they do not have an annoying trip charge just to come out, and no Emergency hours fees if it's on the weekend. Straight up $79.00 for a basic drain snaking no matter when you call.

They showed up 2 hours late since being a Friday afternoon im sure they thought I was easy target.

had a bathroom sink with a slow drain , easy snake job that should of only taken less than a hour to take care of .  after them showing up and taking over an hour , bringing in another guy to tell me they had to cut into my walls and change the pipes out , they would have to get the supplies and would take over 3 hours and $1950 in cost .  I felt totally like I was totally being scammed and told them hell no .  

I called another company they came the next morning was able to snake the line within 30 minutes.  I was so glad I told your guys to go away .  

My husband snakes this when ever needed so I had no idea what the hell they were talking about when they wanted to cut into my walls.  My husband was out of town .  I guess now I will learn how to fix this issue on my own since I do not want to deal with workers that think this is okay.

A representative from this agency came out to give us a quote on the repair of a broken sewer line underneath our home. Upon entering the dwelling he proclaimed, It smells like shit in here, which was an evident symptom of the broken sewer line but poor taste in the presentation of the organization as a whole. Upon additional implicit and expressed judgments, we unsurpisignly went with the plumbing agency that maintained a professional demeanor while simultaneously completing the job in a more relatable and less expensive manner, aka not this one.

I had a bathtub that backed up on a Saturday morning with guests staying, I tried calling several plumbing company's before I found Elite Rooter. The woman who answered was able to confirm a plumber would be by that same morning and provided me time window and price quote.

The plumber who came was Kailib and he was excellent.  Kailib texted me when he was on his way, he was very polite, knowledgeable and completed the job all within the timeframe provided on my first call.

Next time I have drain issue, I know who to call!

I moved into a house with huge sewer issues.  These guys came out for the initial unclogging... I was naïve enough to think it was just a clog...  but soon became a repipe project for the entire house.  They were great at repiping the house, but when it came to following through with the back end and putting everything back together, they were very difficult to get a hold of.
They left with the only toilet in the house unbolted (and later found out without a wax ring) promising to come back within a day or two, never happened.  I ended with a leaky toilet and raw sewage - it's the only working toilet in the house.  They promised to install a tub, never happened.  I'm still trying to figure out how to install the tub by myself... I can probably do it, but I wish the pros I hired had finished their job.  Now, about 3 months later, and working on it on and off, I still have an unfinished bathroom.

Kyle Caleb and David came out and fixed the reverse osmosis system in the kitchen, as well as my master bathroom sink. I couldn't have been more happy with their work and the service that I received. They pointed out a couple of issues that may need to be resolved in the near future, and then some things that I would need to plan to replace within the next five years. The price was great, and the speed that they could come out give me a quote and then come back to do the work was unmatched. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future!

Called 3 different plumbers, not a one bothered to show or call. Called Elite Rooter and was asked when I wanted them out. Ehsan and assistant were out quickly. Friendly, polite, professional and very respectful of property. Fixed the clog quickly and identified the problem that unfortunately will come back. Given a ballpark cost. I just bought this house and have been putting companies in place to call for things just like this. I will definitely call Elite again and highly recommend them.

I'm forced to put a star on this in order for Yelp to be able to publish my review.

I assume my relationship with this company is over, becasue theey won't call or come back to complete the job they did on me.

Here it is in a nutshell. I requested their services for fixing a blockage in my septic system pipes and to install my new pumps and a new sewage ejection control panel. I told the supervisor that I would buy their control panel, but asked if I could provide the pumps from my contact at Northern Tool, to which they agreed.

They proceeded to charge me $6,000 for two guys to dig out a six-foot hole to replace a worn clean-out (took one guy one day), $3,000 to replace a T-Section of PVC pipe (took one guy a day) and then quoted me $1,500 to install my two new pumps and another $1,750 to install the control panel.

Look, I know we're in the middle of the highest inflationary rates for the last 20 years, but this was usurious. An incredible markup of expenses.

I complained to the supervisor Dion. He sent my request to the District Manager Grayson to complete this job. None of my calls were returned.

Here's what I'm left with. A job half done and a company who has abandoned their responsibility. My septic system is currently overflowing into the drain pipe that goes into my backyard!

Talk about a health hazard!!!! Next call to the health department.

My kitchen sink backed up draining extremely slowly. I put out a request and talked to the friendly folks at Elite Rooter. Within a less an hour Arturo (Art)  had contact me, let me know his ETA, and was on the job. Besides taking measures to keep the house clean he tried everything to break through the stubborn clog. In the end, I needed the line to be hydro-jetted and with the help of Devin, they were able to clear the line and leave the drain super clean and clear.

I'd definitely call them again for plumbing needs.

So my experience with Elite Rooters. Our technician was Ramon Torres was amazing he came into the salon and  the first thing you said was Did anyone call for a hero with a great smile and kind energy. Honestly, it was the best way to start the stressful situation with the bathroom sink. It was badly backed up, he was a awesome, he took care of the sink in a very timely fashion. We called Elite to come out and fix a clogged sewer pipe. They initially came out to assess and use the camera. They said they couldn't see anything because it was clogged with roots from a tree that's growing 250 ft away, which is total BS being that itsa small palm tree. They said they could jet the clog and it would be guaranteed for a year.They brought the jetter, charged us 750 and jetted the clog down the hill. 2 days later it was backed up again. Elite said they'd return to jet it again and they failed to return for 4 days. When they finally returned they jetted it again without checking the pipe further down our property. They stated it was all good and clear and shouldn't have any more issues. A day later the county showed up to inform us our sewer pipe had exploded and was now leaking into our neighbor's yard. We immediately called Elite and they said they'd be out first thing in the morning. That afternoon we called to see where they were and the owner was very unprofessional and argumentative, stating it was our fault the pipe broke and that we couldn't prove it was their fault,  even though the clog was apparent in the broken pipe. After a lengthy and contentious conversation the owner finally agreed to come out. While waiting all day again we called a different plumbing company. While we were getting another estimate from said company the Elite owner showed up, took some pictures and left.  He said he'd wait to speak to us after the other company left but that was another lie. He left without speaking to us and we never hear from him again. There was such a lack of professionalism and competence with this company. We were incredibly disappointed and unnecessarily stressed out dealing with the county and an unresponsive plumbing company. And to make matters worse, their tech had the most horrific hand hygiene. We watched him touching dirty pipes then touching his face. And to my horror, he touched my clean laundry hanging on the clothesline.

Memo Leon came to our house to unclog our kitchen sink. It was a complicated job. My husband had snaked the drain several times unsuccessfully before Memo arrived. He was professional, courteous and resourceful. The clog required multiple attempts and a hydro hose to fix the problem. It was pouring rain and dark and Memo was outside with a flashlight working to solve the issue. He was cheerful and never complained. He called in a colleague, Billy who arrived a few minutes later with a camera line. We were not charged extra for this. The two men worked together for almost two hours and were able to get our kitchen sink and plumbing problems resolved. I highly recommend this company. Ask that they send Memo or Billy if you need a plumber!

I'm hoping others have a different experience than I did with Elite Rooter. I had an appointment for an estimate to run a new mainline and to look at possibly upgrading to a tankless water heater. So roughly a $10k job. This work was required due to our mainline being broken under the driveway leaking 25-30 gallons of water an hour.

I was told I'd have a few estimates later that night (options offered by the technician). To me this was important so that I could make a decision on a contractor to do the work asap.

I never received an estimate, text the technician a follow up, he asked for a few days. Here I am 12 days later never did receive that estimate.

We called Elite Rooter when we had a sewage backup. When they came out they said we needed to epoxy-line our entire sewer line and gave us a price of over $20,000. We called another company (Easy Flow, which also gets good reviews on Yelp) to get a second opinion and their estimate was LESS THAN HALF of what Elite Rooter wanted to charge (for exactly the same work). They used scare tactics to try to pressure us into making a decision and push us to over-spend on the project. Definitely not a trustworthy company.

This was the best experience I've ever had with a plumbing service. I had a leak that needed immediate attention and Ehsan and Cain came here so quickly and finished the job faster than I'd anticipated. If Yelp had zero stars option, I would have picked that option! After all the rain here in San Diego, I noticed that two of the area drains on the outside of the house are overflowing. I yelped and found Elite rooters. They were pretty fast in getting back to me and said they can come the same day (that was the highlight, everything went downhill from there). First person who came spent  more than 1 hour walking around thinking what he can do , he did simple snakes it didn't work and said hydrojetting should solve this and they can send camera down the pipe to see where the issue is. He throw some $1400 number , I said thats expensive, then he said $1000 ( I should have known better). I agreed to this, he said he will come back in 1 hour with the equipment. He came back in 2 hours and 2 other people. They started hydrojetting, it didn't work, the boss said he won't send the camera down the pipe (it might get stuck). the other guy let go off the hose , it hit our wall and damage the stucco..2 hours later , they got some sand out of the pipe but still blocked.

Around 4:30pm , they wrapped up. He said he will come back tomorrow to fix the stucco and send the camera down the pipe to see where the pipe is broken. Tomorrow became Wednesday, Thursday he called it would be Friday, Friday he called it would be Monday and then he showed up on Tuesday (when I was at work). He fixed the stucco (see the pictures, what a joke). Next day, I get a call from their office to collect payment. I told them I won't till I talk to the supervisor. Supervisor came, he said he won't send the camera, but he is willing to charge me only $2500 to cut 3 feet of concrete and see where the pipe is broken (what a joke). I asked him does he even know the pipe is under that part of concrete and he said it should be. he then said hydrojetting works 50% of time. This is where I lost it, why would they recommend a service that works 50% of time and from the beginning it seems they were not making any progress. $900 paid , I am where I am started.

This company is not professional, have no technical capability and outright the worst company I have got service from Yelp over all the years I have used Yelp!

Great experience with Elite Rooter. I had a laundry drain back up. They were able to send someone out within a couple of hours. The technician, Seth, was extremely courteous and professional. He called to let me know he was on his way so I didn't have to wait around. He worked quickly. And perhaps most importantly when dealing with drain issues, he worked clean, leaving the area spotless. Price was extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

I called these guys out to remove a soft clog in my toilet. Without taking proper precautions, tech Matt caused flooding in my bathroom, hallway, and bedroom. They informed me that this was a category 4 flooding (involving sewage) and would require reconstruction. They handed me off to a reconstruction company and I never heard from them again. I've been living in a hotel for over a month now due to this mess. I spoke to manager Grayson on the phone, who promptly denied any responsibility despite my timestamped photos of before and after their arrival. I've submitted a formal complaint and never received a response. Seems like they're playing this like it never happened. Hard for me to forget when I have plastic tarps barricading the hallway, as well as flooring ripped up in half of my condo. I've filed a complaint with the BBB. I do not recommend.

We had a kitchen sink blockage/ we tried to snake it on our own but it wasn't working . Messaged this company through yelp and almost immediately got a response on a weekend. Had them come out today and our plumber technician was onathan. I have never had such great customer service by a plumber or any other person in the household services industry as friendly as he was. He took his time to make sure the job was done right. He then called out his coworker to put a camera in our line to make sure there wasn't the possibility of it getting clogged again anytime soon. Very thorough. He also put down plastic on our flooring to keep our house clean. Will definitely use them again if needed.

I have had multiple interactions with this company and there have been mistakes made on their part before but we were always able to get it fixed and taken care of only because I pointed them out but recently the company has split and their quality is gone. They provide quotes that are supposedly not valid even with being asked to reevaluate and make sure it's correct. And after three quotes still come back and ask for double the money. And then rather than trying to correct anything I was told too bad and to figure it out myself and now they avoid calls and do not respond to emails. And since the company has split they no longer have a licensed plumber working for them so it makes sense that they are panicking. They have left jobs half done. Worst plumbers I have ever had to deal with and do not recommend if you want a job done right the first time.

To start off this company earned my upmost respect with their reliable technicians and how much they cared about keeping everything organized and clean while working.

In May of 2021 My wife woke me up to our bathroom toilet overflowing. I was able to shut off the water valve behind my toilet to stop further water from leaking out. I called a plumbing company but they couldn't get out to me until the following day. I looked on Yelp and was able to contact Elite Rooters about the issue I was having. They were able to get someone out immediately Kyle and Cain showed up within 1.5 hours! Amazing right ? They treated my house and myself with the most upmost respect. They wore shoe covers over their boots, gloves and face coverings at all times. After investigating the issue Kyle was able to send a snake down the toilet and fix the issue! While kyle and I were talking I noticed Cain on his hands and knees cleaning my bathroom floor, sink and entire toilet ! Before they left these guys walked around my house to make sure I didnt have any leaks even checking the water meter. I will never call another plumbing company again ! Elite Rooters you guys have gained another loyal customer for life keep up the great work!

I am always so scared to call any business for a quote because I swear they take one look and see dollar signs. I'm not an expert but my dad taught me enough to know when I'm being ripped off. I called this company for a quote to repair my toilet at like 10pm on a Monday night and I had someone scheduled to come take a look at 2pm on Tuesday.

Devan Elson showed up, on time, and was so respectful and honest. I told him that I had actually already taken the toilet apart and I just didnt have the right tools to loosen some of the bolts.

Before Devan showed up, I had another company come by and they quoted me $357 to repair. All I needed was to loosen the bolts. I would have paid too, not $357, but would have paid for the help. Devan loosened the bolts for me and told me the parts I had were too small and I needed to get bigger parts for the repair.

I know he didnt actually get to do a job but next time I have a plumbing job, I'm calling these folks. I appreciate the honesty, professionalism, and can respect someone helping out and not trying to take my money.

Will definitely recommend this company to my all of my friends.

Forgot that I had tried to use them in the past and they did a no show before. When I tried again, they also didn't show up to the first appointment. Idk why I didn't just try someone else at this point, but it is what it is. They ended up finally coming to fix it with no estimate given beforehand. It cost me 2100 to get access to and repair a shower valve. Not only was it put on crooked, but it was still leaking afterwards until I put sealant in. They also didn't set the water temp right so another guy after had to come in and adjust it.

Overall crappy experience, but at least everyone who I spoke to was pretty nice. I'd just probably go with some other company next time.

We had a serious emergency issue with our shower to the point that we had to shut off the main water line until we could get it resolved. Carlos at Elite Rooter was in our house within two hours and had everything resolved about 90 minutes after that. He was super knowledgeable, professional and friendly! When he noticed we have young children in our family, he brought in a case of bottled water he had in his truck so the kids wouldn't be thirsty while the water was shut off! I would definitely recommend Elite Rooter!

Carlos went above and beyond to help unclog my bathroom sink drain. He fixed the clog, snaked the drain (to be extra sure), cleaned everything out, and even installed new pipes since he noticed mine were old and falling apart. He made sure to put everything back under my sink and clean everything up around the area when he was done.

The price was supposed to be $79, but since they were running a little late and he arrived slightly behind schedule, he gave me a discount! I figured with all the extra work he offered there would be an upcharge.

I had a new water heater replaced by this company. When my house was inspected during escrow code violations were found. I called them to fix the issues and they charged me $200 for parts and labor. They did not stand behind their initial repair and still charged for a repair that should have been done right the first time. I will not be calling them again for a repair.

A stinky situation almost got stinkier.

Elite Rooter came out to give me a quote on clearing my blocked main line drain from my roof vent (since I did not have a clean-out drain) and the nicely uniformed, courteous, seemingly trustworthy technician gave me an estimate of over $700...

This was shockingly high, especially when there are companies that advertise doing the same thing for less than $75.

Though I was surprised at the price, I almost agreed to do it since I really needed the work done, (the my plumbing was fully stopped)...  (maybe that is what Elite Rooter hopes for: suckers who are under pressure and less informed and in need of a professional to solve their issue???)  

Thankfully, that morning I had arranged for second company to come out, (just in case Elite Rooter didn't show) and the other company did the drain clearing from my roof vent for $60.  

I feel like I dodged a bullet.  

It is companies like Elite Rooter of San Diego that exploit people in their moments of crisis, that really STINK and I hope they clean up their shady practices.  Until then, BEWARE.

I was glad just to be able to get help scheduled the day before Thanksgiving; a day when I really need the kitchen sink to be useable. Robert called to let me know he had to adjust arrival time. He was able to suggest a good solution to a recurring problem, got parts and completed the work in remarkably short time. Work was well done and reasonably priced. Our sink backed up when my wife was preparing dinner. Our primary plumber said it would be tomorrow morning to come and look. Not an option with the wife. So, I kept trying plumbers/Rooters. Got to Elite and they said they could have someone at my house in 2 to 3 hours. They showed up less than 2 hours. Carlos was a true professional and let us know where the problem was and went about fixing the problem.

The workers are very unprofessional at this company....They came to a building in Compton in May 2023... They cut walls and did work on a unit that was positive for mold while my family still lived in unit... They also did illegal work without pulling proper permits etc... The entire building has been shut down by Compton City due to the illegal modifications and work performed without the proper documents needed to perform the work... Attached is the last citation from the city enlisting the conditions of the unit and work that was done... My family was illegally forced out of home due to work being done and while living there due to air quality and living conditions... If you looking to have work done illegally without permits and proper documentation then elite rooter is the place for you... I'm currently speaking with the state licensing board regarding the illegally provided services by this company to save the owner money and work they way around being paid to do work illegally... My water heater burst on a Saturday morning and Ehsan and Jesus responded to my call right away. They came out, assessed the situation and gave me a few options. I decided to replace the water heater so they told me exactly what to get at Home Depot and they'd be back in a few hours to install. I called at 8:45am because both toilets were not flushing and the tub wouldn't drain ‍ They said they would be there between 9-10 and came right at 10! Talked with George, the plumber and he was very helpful and nice. Devin came out to do the video of the drain and they explained everything that was going on. I was very worried that they would charge me more for the video but they honored their original price! Not trustworthy. I called them to inspect a house that I was in escrow on, and Devin, the lead technician, asked if I was the seller or the buyer, and I said buyer. He said Oh so you're looking for whether you need to ask for a credit on this house? Say no more. He then showed up late and without the camera he needed to inspect the pipes that we had discussed before. When his team member was supposed to come 3 days later to continue the work, he didn't show up. So then the lead technician supposedly came to do a video assessment of the pipes... Then afterwards I asked for the video and he said he was too busy out on the field. I followed up the next day and still got no reply. The company knew I had only that week to complete my inspections, and they failed 100% on their part. After they tried to collect payment from me, the woman on the phone was apologetic, but I absolutely would never trust this company with important work again. Totally unreliable.

My entire experience, starting with my first phone call was excellent. Every person i interacted with was helpful, informative, dedicated to finding the right solution and clearly kept customer experience top of mind.
I had a completely unexpected pipe collapse, requiring a large rebuild project. Kailib and his team were amazing!! The project was complete in just a couple days, thanks to his, Beto and Jessie hardwork and determination. We found our forever plumbing company. We called Elite and Carlos was here within two hours. He and the crew started working the next day on a big job. I had a plumbing issue in my home and called this company for help. The plumber who arrived was friendly and professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. When I asked about the high cost of repairs, he assured me that my insurance company would cover at least 50% and that they would help me with filing the claim, submitting the plumbers report and paperwork. They were very confident on dealing with these types of claims with insurance. I went ahead with the repairs.

However, when the invoice was submitted to Insurance, I was shocked to see that my insurance had denied the claim 100%.

I understand that there are no guarantees when it comes to insurance claims, but I feel that the company should not have made promises they couldn't keep. Their lack of accountability has left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this company to others based on my experience.

These guys are the absolute best! We were suspicious of a leak after getting a gigantic water bill from the city. Matt came out to inspect the house, yard, crawl space, etc. He took a lot of time and was very detailed looking at and explaining everything. We have a very old house and he went into the tiny crawl space under the house to check all the pipes for leaks or issues. He even brought to our attention some things that may cause problems in the future, which is nice because no one had ever pointed them out to us before. He was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Grayson came by later in the appointment and he was also very nice and helpful. You will not regret calling them! So easy to work with. Prompt and professional. We've had issues with plumbers in the past, so we will be calling Matt from Elite Rooter from now on.

Great service. Very reliable. They showed up the same day and on time. I had called another company before and they told me I had to replace the entire toilet. Kailib from Elite Rooter was very professional and was able to fix it in less then 20 minutes and now it's working great. Didn't have to replace the toilet. This could have been very costly but he fixed the problem for only $79. I highly recommend them and will never call Aman Plumbing again.

I was notified by my tenant that Elite Rooter arrived to my house but I had never scheduled an appointment.  They were semi aggressive with my tenant who had no idea why they were there.  They said I had scheduled an appointment but I had not.  They called me and said they had checked out the water heater and that it wouldn't turn on, which is not true.  They said it would cost $1900 to replace a 50gl tank.  Which is insane!!!  First off, my water heater's pilot light sometimes goes out.  Not often and sometimes months pass without an issue.  I wrote all of this in my yelp inquiry.  I probably need a replacement thermocouple, or at least that's the first thing to replace as it's a really cheap part, under $10, and quick installation.  Possibly I need the whole pilot assembly replacement, which is around a $100 part.

I called the office and they said Yelp scheduled the appointment but I don't know how that's possible and it's strange they would book an appointment without contacting the customer.  I've tried calling back several times but they won't answer.  Very strange.

First thing on Google researching why my pilot light goes out. The most common reason that your pilot light on your water heater keeps going out is a damaged, bent or dirty thermocouple.

Home depot sells this part for $6.19.  Elite Rooter just tried to charge me $1900.  DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!

I just got home from work and it's 7:30pm.  I went to look at the water heater this company wrongfully worked on. THEY TURNED OFF THE GAS AND LEFT IT THAT WAY!!!!  They said my water heater didn't work anymore, even though my tenant told them there was plenty of hot water that morning, and tried to sell me a replacement for $1900.00.  I'm assuming they turned off the gas to the water heater thinking I was to stupid to figure that out.  Well, they left my tenants without hot water for the rest of the day.  I turned on the gas and re-lite the pilot light and it's totally working fine.  This is shocking that a company would be so dishonest!!!!  NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!

My tenants have the right to hot water per (Civil Code § 1941.1 and § 1941.3)

functioning plumbing, heating, and electrical facilities, including HOT and cold running water and a working toilet and kitchen sink

What you just did was not only against the law but violated the CIVIL RIGHTS OF MY TENANTS!

We called elite plumbing due to sump pump issues. They sent Ron out the same day to help assess our problem. We have an old craftsman home with unique plumbing and Ron spent well over an hour running diagnostics on our sump pump as well as talking us through exactly what he was doing. By the time he left we had a much better sense of all the inner workings of our home plumbing in general (well above and beyond what he had to do!) Ron was very competent, courteous and clearly very passionate about his work. We will definitely be calling elite plumber-and requesting Ron- for any future plumbing issues.

DO NOT USE.  I am a Facilities Director. I work with plumbers almost weekly. We had a tenant call Elite Rooter out.  They said we needed to jet/high pressure flush out our pipes. We decided we would have them finish the job. Not only did they not finish the job, left the toilet off without a plan to finish and flooded one property and into the next, they charged us 3x as much as almost any plumber. $1500 for a $450 job. I tried to talk with them about it and they just argued and basically told us that we were lying about the lack of communication from the plumber.   With in a week we needed to have someone out because they did not fix anything and our regular plumbers said it doesn't even look like they actually jetted. There should be marks in the still clogged pipes and are there are none on the new videos. DO NOT use Elite Rooter. They're prices are highway robbery. After we used them I have read review after review of their over priced cost and subpar work. There are great reputable companies out there. This is not one.

I called this morning due to a leak we have in our garage. Within 30 minutes someone was at my house to evaluate the situation. They worked all afternoon and stopped the leak in our garage and did a great job.  I would not hesitate to call them again.  Salvador was very nice, polite, and was kind to my dogs. The only thing I would do differently is look at their website because they have coupons, which would have been great to use since I'm an essential healthcare worker. Highly recommend!!

I have used Elite Rooter for a couple of jobs at my home.  They are fantastic!  They are honest, dependable, reasonable, and very good at what they do.  I cannot say enough about these guys and their workmanship, but they are also patient and friendly.  They answer all my questions and never try to upsell me on more than what I need.  I will continue using them for all of my plumbing needs.

I called to get the toilet at my business serviced at around 11am and they were out by around 1:30pm. Ehsan and Hector were super quick and efficient, which is awesome when you're getting a toilet worked on in a place that serves food. Ehsan quoted me two different prices, depending on what they'd have to do. We ended up having to get the whole toilet removed due to a bottle being shoved in it, and he called me over to show me the bottle and exactly what they were doing, so I was certain they charged me a fair price. Super nice guys and we have their card saved at the store in case we ever need help again. Thanks guys!!

Mr. A Garcia from elite plumbing came to work on our bathroom issue. I had missed the first call , but he made time in his busy schedule to come and take care of the clog we had. I used Elite Rooter once previously at my house in Vista and they did a good job. The tech which came out was professional and took care of the problem. He arrived on time and ready to work. It was a 4 drain cleaning, I had a clogged drain backing up into the shower. This time which is the 2nd time I use them, was an even better experience! I called various plumbing companies to see who could respond ASAP. I had 2 clogged drain in the laundry room. I had another plumbing company come 1st, since they were able to come on a Sunday evening. The plumber arrived on time and spent about 2 hours and was unable to clear the line. He stated you have a broken line and I asked where or how do you know and he responded with The line is not clearing with my snake so it's definitely broken! And he said he didn't know where if it was. So he left did not charge because they state don't pay unless we clear the clog. Elite Rooter arrived the next day which was their soonest appointment on time and ready to work! Let me say Bobby the tech was amazing! He cleared the line and stated you need to hydro-jet the line to clear it completely. The other company said hydro-jet will not fix your broken line! I asked Bobby if he was sure that would do the trick. He was confident it would. He quoted me an amazing price with camera and warranty. Let me say Bobby and his crew went above and beyond hands down! Best plumbing company I've ever used with amazing pricing much less than others! I definitely recommend and trust me I wouldn't recommend them if it wasn't true!

I would no longer recommend this business. Two of my prior visits were emergencies and the team promptly arrived day of and fixed my issues. The cost was hefty but when it comes to a water emergency, I was OK biting the bullet.

HOWEVER for non emergency services, their prices are excessive and not market competitive. They quoted me $1,300 for a job that ended up costing a little over $200. On this day in question, this company also forgot my morning appointment and didn't show up until about 5pm. The plumber who did come didn't have his ladder with him so he couldn't access the roof to properly snake our line but somehow still determined the work needed would be invasive and excessive including wall and pipe cutting. Turns out all it needed was a snake from the roof (there was sand in the pipe) and to replace a broken nut.

We had major plumbing issues in our ~80 yr old home that required a new outgoing drainage pipe to be laid under the entire house.  The project involved a lot of foundation removal and time/effort on the Elite team.  We had 5 guys working to complete the job over an 8 day period, and they were amazing throughout the entire process!  I cannot say enough good things about all of them.  

From Gil who was here for 2 days to burst our new pipe through, to David, Vincente and Gary who did the digging, hauling and dirty work, to Shane the Lead Tech who did numerous repairs on the water main line, the outgoing drains, the faucets, the hot water line and various other things along the way and did soooo much jackhammering of the foundation, while managing/leading the entire team throughout the job.  

Shane went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done right and his team completed the job to our satisfaction.  Everyone was polite, on time every day, and was extremely careful about keeping things clean, and tidy along the way.  They hauled away the trash, and even were kind enough to dump the extra soil from the job into my flower beds for me.  

I LOVE Elite Rooter San Diego!  They will be my Go to Plumbers from now on!  Thank you, thank you, thank you to Shane, Gil, David, Vincente, Gary for all of your hard work.  You are all Angels!

I had a washer drainage clog and contact these guys. I called the headquarter (somewhere in another city) and they sent Ricardo to my address really fast. Ricardo came and inspected the problem, then talked to me over the phone suggesting a solution. I approved the decision and it was taken care of quickly. He tested it and left. But when we used the washer, the problem came back. I called the number again and Ricardo came back immediately to fix it. This company does honor their service and guaranty. Ricardo is a great guy. I really appreciated their service. The price is very reasonable.

I can't thank these guys enough! I was having multiple stoppage issues and the first three plumbers I had called temporarily fixed the problem but did not identify the larger issue as to why it was happening. When the problem occurred again, they sent Devon out within an hour (after hours) to address the stoppage. And then Devin spent an hour with me on the phone with my warranty to get the cost of the work approved. After they did the work, they helped me come up with a plan for the issue with the main line. Both Devin and Devon helped me with each step and made me feel taken care of. I trust these guys and will definitely be calling them for any plumbing needs we need for the future.

Steven Johnson was our tech and he was amazing. Kept us informed through the process and what he was finding. They hydrojetted our blockage and got things right back on track. They were highly recommended on Nextdoor and I can see why. They came out same day while everyone else we called would fit us in a day or two out - definitely doesn't work when you have sewage backing up into your shower so super grateful Elite was able to make a same day appointment work. Our water heater was twelve years old and needed replacing. It was leaking water all over our garage so I had called Elite Rooter and they were able to fit me in their schedule for that same day. Their technician, Cody was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about plumbing. He had several recommendations and had suggested that we go with the same size water heater. He had to redo our inlet and outlet piping due to the fact that it was old, kinked so bad, and not enough pipe to work with. So, he had cut the drywall and redid the pipes. He worked on our heater and piping as if it was his own home. He was very proficient and professional in his work ethics. I would recommend Elite Rooter to my friends and family. They also will do Military discount for our veterans like myself. Keep up the good work Cody.

I really hate to do this, but I noticed my clean out/plug leaking a while ago. I finally got around to check it and the wing nut was snapped and the plug was not sitting right (not put in straight and overtorqued would be my guess). Anyways these guys were the last to touch it. Something so small that could have been avoided by a hey man sorry... It's literally a $1 wing nut and $10 seal, but goes to show their character.

Elite Rooter is our go to for all plumbing issues that can't solve myself or have the proper tools. These guys are excellent and provide the best service. Always conveintent and friendly, and if available, for around your schedule. Called today because we just had countertops installed and asked if anyone was available. The receptionist said she give me a call right back after she checked with her guys out in the field. Calls right back, leaves and voicemail and says Kenny will be over in about an hour.  

Wow. Can't say anymore about Kenny. Travelled all the way from Santee on a whim to help a kitchen sink drain/disposal job. Small job but tested as huge in all aspect, meaning the importance, attentiveness, and purposeful dedication to get the job complete quickly comes as no surprise to me. He helped us with our recent catosphre of re-routing our kitchen pipes, and his crew also showed to give us quote about re-doing all copper with PEX, which was a great deal just not in our budget at the moment.

He is excellent in his craft and professional 360 degrees.  Goes above and beyond any task and just an overall A+ guy to talk and hang around. Great job, Kenny! Semper Fi!

Elite Rooter was AMAZING! I was out of state and my daughter called at midnight letting me know that none of the restrooms worked. I called Elite Rooter in the morning and they were at my house within an hour. WOW!! They understood the urgency, they communicated very well ( yes, I am still talking about a Plummer) and they sent  step by step pictures of the work they did. They even referred me to a water damage company. Although, the situation was severe the process with Elite Rooter was seamless. Both Devan's are great to work with.

Avoid. Contacted elite router to remove and install a new dishwasher. They arrived and disconnected the old dishwasher. The plumber Ricardo then told me I had water damage. There was some water on the floor from the disconnected dishwasher and dark stains on the inside of the cabinets. He contacted a restoration company he said could come out and check. . They came out and quickly told me I had water in multiple areas of my kitchen and dining room. And was going to take major demo work and to contact my insurance company. Over the next day I was told by the restoration company that was contacted by elite router multiple times saying my insurance company had given the go ahead to begin demo. My insurance company never authorized that and sent a separate water detection company to my house. They detected no leak know where the stains under my cabinet were at least 10 to 15 years old. I contacted elite router and advise them what their plumber did. They charged me almost $600 to replace a valve. That was all they accomplished other than the headaches and pains from the restoration company and their plumber. I reached out to the company I told them this story. I was advised someone would reach out and contact me. It's been over three weeks and I've not heard a word.

Arturro has helped us out several times.  I had a slow leak in our single unit Water Ridge toilet and it took some sleuth work to figure out the cause.  Arturro went above and beyond to resolve the issue and actually detected an unrelated problem, and fixed that too.  Very happy customer!

Sadly I would love to give them a good review... As they showed up quickly when we had a problem and needed help. However we found their prices to be pretty exorbitant for the work provided.  We went ahead and hired them and they said they indicated they would guarantee their work. We had them clean out our French drains... And when we found that one of the drains they claimed they had cleared. was still clogged, we ask them to come back to check it out it since they guaranteed their work. It has been over a month now and they are completely ignoring our calls. I guess why  would you call someone back when you have their money? Proceed with caution, as this business has not operated with integrity..

I have used this company twice.  First time they unclogged a drain, the plumber was great and it was a super easy experience.  Second time the plumber who came out was quite sketchy and said he couldn't fix the problem with the equipment he had but would need to install something else that costs $800-$1000.  Still charged me for the visit.  He offered to do it off the books after hours for $300.  I said no thanks.  A different plumber came out and immediately fixed the issue. Probably will not be using this company again after this!

You can hire $500/hr lawyers for cheaper than Elite Rooter (I wish I was kidding). I had a time-sensitive plumbing issue (someone drove up on my water meter, so the main needed to be dug up and patched). Elite Rooter was great all the way to the point where they showed up, inspected the issue, and quoted $2500 for what they expected would take the rest of the day, so a few hours' work. I can't believe that a company would have the kind of reviews that these folks do and absolutely take advantage of their customers with this kind of pricing. Use someone else who you can trust who will explain to you what they need to do, fairly price it based on the amount of work required. That's not these guys, sorry.

This time we had a clogged shower drain unrelated to our previous repair (though the previous occupant was clearly a slob). Once again, I reached out to Elite Rooter via Yelp and just for the sake of comparison, we used Yelp's ask other businesses function. Despite added competition, Elite Rooter was the first to respond AND with the earliest time slot. Obviously a no-brainer to go with them. This time James came by who was fantastic. These guys really focus on making our questions are answered and getting the best possible outcome without rushing. As always, highly recommend!

Elite Rooter sent someone over who uncloged my toilet. By the next day, the toilet would not flush again and I contacted them to ask to please send the gentleman back over to do the job correctly.
That started a string of phone calls and promises that someone would be sent over, but each day at the end of the day they somehow couldn't make it.
After a week of this, I told them if they couldn't get the guy over by the following Monday I wanted a refund.    
A very nice young lady named Rachelle assured me that it shouldn't be a problem and that refund checks are done on Thursdays.  
Come that following Monday I got a phone call from a very rude young lady named Sarah, who informed me that no one could make it over  
She also told me they wanted to send over the guy who done it in the first place, but he could not come over because he had a gash in his leg and was allergic to my cats.  
So began a discussion of why he petted my cats and acted like he liked them if he was allergic.  
Her response was that she's known him for two years. He was allergic to cats and that their plumbers do things like that because they want to make the customer happy.
This customer (me) was not happy because after a week and a half I still had a toilet that wouldn't flush.  
Now we're at the next Monday and I called to see how my refund was going.  
I was told that the information would be sent to accounting and they would get back to me to let me know what was going on.  
Of course, nobody's gotten back to me
I would like my $79 back.

Elite Rooters came out to my place of work and did a great job on the specific plumbing job but at the same time there was an accident that happened involving my car.  There was some residue sprayed all over my car and it would not come off easy.  Devin from Elite Rooters contacted AMD Detailing to come out and take care of my car.  I was very pleased on how Devin handled the situation.  Very easy to communicate with and that is why I give Elite Rooter a 5 star review.  They make sure everyone is satisfied and they take good care of their clients!!

I had an interesting experience and want to share why I think that Elite Rooter deserves 5 stars even after what happened. So in the middle of the night we had a clogged toilet that I could not fix with a plunger, after calling around and asking for some general prices for middle of the night work (all very expensive for good reason). Eventually, I decided to wait until morning. I called around to other plumbers and Elite Rooter was the only one that could get here to help before noon. Mike showed up within the time frame and helped explain the pricing and walked me through everything when he got here. Even after trying everything that he could to fix the clog he failed. He said that he needed more equipment and would be back later. We waited almost SEVEN hours for this guy to come back, I called the offices five to six times to try and get a hold of this guy. Eventually he comes back with the equipment, fixes my clog, and after expecting to discuss the bill he mentioned that Elite Rooter is not that kind of company. He said that he wanted to make it right for leaving us hanging for so long and that we would not be charged for the service.

Any other run of the mill plumber would have still charged me after something like that. These guys clearly mean business and obviously now have a customer for life!

Had a leaking angle stop valve and tank hose on the toilet in my master bathroom.
Put in a request through yelp and Elite rooter responded within minutes and I was scheduled for for Monday morning.
Ricardo from Elite Rooter showed up at the scheduled time and greeted me at the door, he was very polite and professional, he came in and accessed the issue, and provided me with very reasonable quote. I agreed to the quote and Ricardo started the repairs, it took him less that 30 minutes from start to finish and the repair was complete. Ricardo explained what repairs were done and what parts he replaced. The repair was quality work and I was completely satisfied with the quality of the repair. Ricardo was great.
I would highly recommend Elite Rooter for your plumbing needs. On a side note I would like to give a shout out to DM Travis Castro, I asked Ricardo about quote for a tankless water heater, he called Travis and within 30 minutes Travis showed up and provided me with a quote as well as other options.

I discovered I have a leak in my condo so I called this company to see if they could come take a look. They told me they scheduled someone to come out between 11-1 and I was grateful! But by 3pm I still hadn't received a phone call. I called 4 times between 3-5pm and no one answered my call. Probably won't be relying on them in the future.

Barbara Hanson told me Elite Rooter of San Diego. They were fast and so professional and did a wonderful job.  They went beyond just doing a job.  They ever wrote a letter to my HOA stating my issue with roots and the problems.  I appreciated the A-1 service they provided.  They came on the day they said they would show up.  Loved them.  Would recommend for sure!!!

Absolutely fantastic service ! I phoned at 7.45am and a lovely lady answered the phone straight away and was extremely helpful .
She arranged for a technician to come between 9am and 11 , and he arrived  very quickly .
What a lovely guy called Mike  , really friendly , super helpful and efficient . He sorted our problem straight away gave us some tips so it didn't happen again ( we had a slow draining/ blocked toilet ).

Elite Rooter was able to come out same day I requested service to unclog my kitchen sink. Our technician Grayson arrived, put on booties and was pleasant & professional. He offered an estimate to hydrojet rather than just snake the lines. We opted to snake lines for now. He was prepared with tools to remove the front wood panel to reach the clean access. He cleared the drain efficiently and reinstalled the wood panel and put our window planters all back!  We were satisfied with the service and will use Elite Rooter again in the future.

I highly recommend Elite Rooter for all plumbing issues! These guys don't stop till you are taken care of. And they go the extra mile to make sure it is affordable. I had a plumbing problem over Memorial Day weekend . 3 days of no toilet and shower . I couldn't find anyone to come out for me. They came out the Tuesday after Memorial Day with in an hour of calling them , assessed the problem talked to the home owner came back out to my house at 530pm and made sure my family was taken care of. Highly recommend Kyle Patch with Elite Rooter. We had a seized bolt in our kitchen sink that we couldn't get off to change the faucet. I sent out a request to Elite Rooter and they answered super quickly and got someone out a couple of hours later! Kyle came out and he was able to diagnose the issue, cut off the seized faucet, and install our new one in less than an hour. He was super friendly and efficient, and pointed out a couple of other things he noticed that may need attention in the future. We'll definitely call him for issues we have in the future. I recommend them for quick response, excellent service, and quality work.

I called and sent emails to several plumbing companies in San Diego to have someone help fix my slow draining toilet.  Elite Rooter had the quickest response time and was able to give me an appointment the same day. Ramon arrived within the hour of my appointment and was very friendly with a very positive attitude. After assessing the situation and presenting some options, he offered to talk to my landlord to explain the problem and possible fixes as he was hesitant on what the cost of the job might amount to. In the end, my landlord felt good about the cost and wasn't mad at me for calling a plumber on my own instead of him calling his 'plumber guy.'  :0)  Exceptional customer service from Ramon for caring about the customer and issue.

Elite Rooter saved us from an inconvenient and expensive pipe replacement that a competing plumber wanted to do.   Our landlord called Elite Rooter after the competing plumber wanted to charge for additional services after not fulfilling on their guarantee that their hydro-jetting would fix our problem.  Elite Rooter brought their drain camera in and diagnosed the problem correctly and quickly.  No pipe replacement was needed. He snaked and plunged correctly and the toilet flushed! I also got an A+ 1 hour plumbing education. What a night and day difference from the competition. I Highly recommended... I called Elite Rooter because my plumbing was backed up in the house I bought just two months ago. I knew I would need to replace my old cast iron pipes eventually since my house is 93 years old, I just wasn't expecting to have to do it so suddenly. I called Elite Rooter based on reviews and I am glad that I did. They came out within 90 minutes on a Saturday and informed me that they would not be able to use their snake because the pipes were broken (they saw this with their camera).

So we decided to fix the problem and replace the pipes. We ended up running into a few issues and Franky completely took care of us from the start to the finish. I was not able to be home so he personally texted me throughout the whole process. I couldn't have asked for better service!

*The second part of the big job (the reconstruction/remodel part) is not yet done so I'll update the review at that point in time once I'm using the bathroom.

Our main bathroom drain clogged so I called in Elite Rooter. I wanted a different company as we'd used another company for a big pipe replacement last year and I wasn't impressed with aspects of the job they did (communication, clean up etc).

I have been very impressed with the team Elite Rooter sent out and I think that is their strong point. David in particular is just the nicest, most professional guy and the other men - Eric, Kenny, Padraic and Joe, were a pleasure to deal with. I find having strangers and workmen tramping all over the house stressful and they tried their best to be as intrusive as possible. They also are sensitive when dealing with the stress and confusion that comes with finding out your clogged drain is a huge job and Devin gave excellent guidance with the insurance process.

In terms of the work - it looks good, they were fast, they knew what they were doing, and they had good supervision. They also cleaned up after themselves, sealed everything properly and knew all about not leaving gates open for dogs to escape and so on. So all in all: great service.

* Update. Well I spoke too soon. For sure the men who did the work were great but in terms of aftercare I am most unhappy with their follow-up. We have been asking Devin for documentation for the insurance for over 2 weeks now...

They replaced our sewage pipes, but they initially failed to connect the pipe to to city's pipe. For about 6 months, our sewage drained into our back yard. Also, our house flooded, twice, with raw sewage because the lack of draining made the sewage back up. They told my husband it was because of my feminine products, but I don't use disposable feminine products, so I was quite put off and confused by that. We called them out to fix the issue, twice, but they didn't figure it out until I called the city of San Diego to come out. Sure, they fixed it eventually (destroying my fig tree in the process); but did I mention my house flooded with raw sewage, twice?

Steven Johnson as dispatched to our house to diagnose a clogged drain situation. He crawled under the house without hesitation (it's literally a crawl space and not the nicest place to be) and let us know what was going on with the dampness under there. He snaked the drain multiple times from various places in the line then had his colleague, Devin come over to run the camera down the line and give us literally a better picture of what was going on. They both gave us several directions we could go to fix the issue and ball-parked some numbers as well. Great service. Clean and knowledgeable. Will definitely be calling them back.

My wife and I have been homeowners several times over the past 44 years, so I've become fairly proficient at handling clogged drains.  When our kitchen sink plumbing backed up a couple of weeks ago, a simple bit of plunger work did the trick.  But a second back-up seemed impervious to the plunger solution.

From experience I am comfortable with kitchen plumbing, so I removed the easy-latch disposal and the pipes - just down to the  p-trap (curved pipe) which I couldn't get off.  Still I had determined the clog was beyond that point, out towards the plumbing clean-out on the back wall of the house.

Using various sized snakes still failed as a home remedy, so I finally determined this would be my first time needing a professional rooter service.

Elite Rooter advertises a single drain fix for $79, which seemed reasonable and I was able to get  on their schedule from 3 to 5p.m. that afternoon. Frankie Herrera, Sr.Technician, arrived promptly at 3p.m.  That was the first point in their favor.

Armed simply with a drill and a 6' length of 1/4 coiled steel, he confirmed my assessment and handily loosend the p-trap (much to my embarrassment!).  There  it was - just inside the pipe - a blockage likely building over our 30 years in this house.

Much relieved, I thanked Frankie, who proceeded to the back yard to use my hose to ensure there were no further blockages from the back of the house out to the street (Iwouldn't of thought of doing that), and then said he would show me a trick that would allow me to handle such future blockages myself.

Really??

While the hose confirmed no further issues, his trick demonstrated how the snake and drill would easily get past the p-trap. I thanked him sincerely for the quick fix and asked how much I owed him. He said it would be no charge.  I wasn't sure I heard correctly. Admittedly I had pretty well prepped the area for a quick fix, but knew the cost for him and his big beautiful truck to get here. I again asked him for the charges and he again refused any payment, and even left the length of coiled steel for me to use on any future  blockages.

I don't suggest that Elite Rooter Service will be able to dispatch your problem as quickly and cost effectively as mine. But Frankie's professional, friendly service and kind consideration was a rare and unexpected experience indeed. In appreciation, I said I would gladly write hime a review worthy of his conduct.

So here we are.

This was truly a warm and welcome experience, and suggests to me that Elite is worthy of your consideration for such services.  I'm not sure how best to characterize this experience aptly, but could swear I heard: Hi-Ho SILVER...Awaaayyy as he drove down the street.

I called these guys out to unclog my kitchen sink, I tried to unclog it myself with Draino, plunging and hot water, but to no avail. They had said that they had a $79 promotion to unclog the drain, so I had them come in. The appointment was between 4-6pm, he arrived on time at 4pm, but it went down hill from there. I specifically told him that the kitchen sink was clogged, but he want to go check all my bathroom drains, I let him check the guest bathroom only and reiterated to him that it was just the kitchen sink that was clogged. To check the bathroom drain, he just turned on the sink for about 15 seconds to see that the water went down the drain. I redirected him to the kitchen sink and he took a part the pipes under the sink and tried to put the snake in there and it couldn't go any further than a foot and a half and he said that he couldn't unscrew the clean out access because I had old cast iron pipes and he didn't want to try harder to unscrew it because he might crack the pipe. He then said that he would have to cut a hole through my dry to get to the clogged part of the pipe because he couldn't open the clean out access. I asked him how much this was going to all cost and he gave me a ridiculous price of $3600 and 2 days of work. I told him I could replace my whole kitchen island with $3600. He was trying to explain to me that this would be a big project to either go through the drywall under the sink or to go through the garage and that he has done a couple of houses in my community with the same problem. I told him that he can put back the pipes and leave. Later that evening I unclogged the drain with a $2 bottle of vinegar and hot water. I've used this company before to have my water heater installed and that went seamlessly without any price gouging, most likely not going to contact them again for anything.

This was my first time using Elite Rooter and it will not be the last. Travis and Evan were simply awesome. They arrived on time, quickly identified the issue and communicated the resolution (replacement flusher for running toilet) and quoted me upfront. They had to run out and grab parts which took a little longer than anticipated but once they returned, they completed the fix in no time at all. What's more, in their hunt for parts, they were able to find individual replacement pieces and didn't end up needing to replace the whole flusher component, saving us $50. Overall an awesome experience. Thank you!!

I was pleased to find that this company had someone answer the phone and that was very nice... and unusual as I mostly got voicemails. The woman was friendly and professional. She called back when they were able to move up my appointment, getting me help the morning I called. Salvador came out to snake our toilet. Our house is more than 100 years old, it has not been remodeled and it is complicated to maintain. Salvador did an excellent job dealing with the complexities and was extremely professional the whole way through. He was patient with my 85 yr old father looking over his shoulder. He stressed the fact that it's my dad's house and he wanted to make sure that he was pleased with the job and explained things the whole way through. The price he charged was more than reasonable. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. They are now my go-to plumber!

We needed an emergency/last-minute disassembly of our kitchen faucet/sink and gas cooktop stove before demo began in the kitchen. Elite Rooter sent Matt out, same day and within a few hours, accommodating my work schedule. The estimate was given and Matt came out the next day to complete the job. Couldn't be more thrilled with how this turned out. The cooktop stove ended up becoming more difficult than initially expected, but Matt was persistent, figured it out, and completed the job, all the while being careful with our appliances. And by the way, Matt was professional, friendly, and funny. Made a complicated job more bearable. We'd highly recommend their services. Looking forward to having them back for other work.
