HISTORY
Established in 1995.
Don DeVinney got his start in plumbing in 1983 at the beginning of the huge housing boom in Orange County. In 1995, after 8 years of residential tract work and 15 years of commercial, all union trained, Don received his plumbing contractor's license and decided to start his own business. Don has a very good understanding of how plumbing systems are built and how they work and is considered a master plumber in his trade.

I had dinner guests coming in 3 hours and my sink was leaking. They came out within an hour and had the leak fixed and a new garbage disposal installed within an hour. Will use them again.
DeVinney Plumbing responded quickly and professionally and got me on their schedule right away.
They replaced a broken air gap and flushed my tankless hot water. Very clean and quick! They even went so far as to remove everything below my sink (cleaning products, flashlights, fire extinguisher, etc.) and lined all the items up in the exact order they were in so they were all replaced in the exact same spots. I've put their contact info in my phone and will call them first the next time I have a plumbing issue.

Don came same day I called and fixed my garbage disposal AND took the time to make it more up to code. My last contactor did not put an air vent for bacteria to not exchange between dishwasher and disposal and Don took the time to reloop to prevent bacterial overflow since his background is in contracting. He also fixed my spicket in the backyard while he was here! Thank you for taking that extra step to improving my house. Would definitely use Don again!!
Mr DeVinney came within an hour of me contacting him and was incredibly efficient. They fixed my issue within an hour, charged me what they quoted and did all this in a safe manner. They were courteous and respectful and worked within my timeline as I was working from home. I highly recommend it.

Don and his team are very responsive. And very knowledgeable. If the regular service found out there is others things needs to be done. He will take a pictures of what he found and go through with you and gave you options of what needs to be done. Gave Don a call great people to work with.
Excellent job. They came out right away and did a very thorough analysis. I even got to see my pipes with their high tech camera!
Don helped me with a corroded water pipe to my fridge, and did so last minute. He was responsive, professional and incredibly helpful. DeVinney does not provide the pool service repair that I was after. I don't know why I even contacted them because they are a plumbing service. He quickly responded to my request and referred me to a great service that did an amazingly quick, thorough, and professional job, Craig Dalton, Pool & Spa Repair.
I initially gave them a 3 star rating only because I couldn't post a written review without assigning stars. I used 3 as a middle-of-the-road (not intended to be good or bad), though Craig Dalton said they do great work and highly recommended them for plumbing needs.
Don and his team were outstanding. Very responsive with returning calls and text, as well as getting out to diagnose and recommend. Our water heater had begun to fail, and Don tried to help us save $ by recommending various adjustments to the heater and pump. After none of these options worked, he got us a high quality water heater at a competitive price. Since the upgrade, our water temperature has been perfect throughout the house, which has also reduced the amount of water we use. Thanks, Don!!

Had a water heater emergency on a Saturday. Was recommended by another plumbing company! He squeezed me in first thing in the morning and was able get a water heater before his supplier closed. He actually came back sooner than he told me he would be! It wasn't an easy job but they worked hard and did a great job. Called them on a Friday morning to fix a leak in our dish washer. Called back promptly and gave us a time that day when they would be the there. Arrived on time. Figured out what the problem was, fixed it quickly. Overall very reliable, great communication and very fairly priced. Will definitely be calling them again.
Sewer Main backed up in my house, DeVinney saved the day by running snake through roof vent. All clear!!!!!
Sunday 3-27-2022 we received notice that nothing was going down the toilet, unless it was plunged, at one of the apartment rentals. Called DeVinney Plumbing and Aaron and Sam arrived before 9am on Monday morning. A gigantic tree root ball was in the line and coming out of the toilet closet flange. As they were discovering what the situation was, Aaron called me 3 times to let me know and sent text pictures. Everything was fixed and the tenants are happy!
When you're in a bind, especially for an issue like plumbing, prompt, efficient, honest, and courteous response is foremost! We needed some plumbing repairs and I decided to give DeVinney Plumbing a call based on the positive reviews. I spoke with Don and he was very down to earth and even willing to give me a rough idea on what it might cost, which several others I contacted were unwilling to do without booking an estimate, inspecting the work and charging a service call. On the day scheduled I received a call at the appointed time that they were on the way. When Sammy and Aaron arrived they inspected the projects and were able to confirm the prices as stated by Don before the work began. They completed all the items in no time and did fantastic work without any problems. There were no additional charges and they took our payment with a credit card device and went on their way. The work was top notch and the prices fair. Overall just super easy and professional, will definitely use again and expect the same results.

This is the 2nd time I am dealing with my Garage ceiling leak from our upstairs bathroom and have become really frustrated. The last plumber did a terrible job trying to figure out where the leak could have been which lead to my 2nd go-around at this. I needed a new plumber and need one quickly to fix the leak. I called Olson in HB and they were not able to do the job due to their availability but referred me to DeVinney. Don got a crew out a few days later and worked on my leak. We identified an additional leak and they were able to fix it. Their crew Sammy and his assistant did a great job from what I can see. It took almost an entire day with the various leaks. I hope this will be it. But so far, based on their response, professionalism, and work that was done, I would recommend DeVinney Plumbing.

I found a leak in a drainage pipe from the kitchen sink - unfortunately the leak was coming from within the wall. I talked to Don and explained the issue. He was out the next day and he estimated the effort and had the problem fixed and as good as new. I felt Don and his team did a great job of explaining the situation, estimating the effort and solving the problem. All very professionally. Thanks to Don for all his efforts!!!
I am very happy with the service we received from Donald and Sammy at DeVinney Plumbing. They were available and came to the house the same day, and as we discovered the job was more in depth they came back the next morning to finish. They were friendly, described and showed us the work that needed to be done and also showed us the completed work before closing up. They left the bathroom clean and the work looked impeccable. Also they were able to complete complicated work behind the wall (bathtub faucet) without cutting into the tile. Thank you for the great work and service!

We experienced a back up first thing in the morning, which ended up flooding (to a point) the bathroom in our bedroom. I couldn't try to fix myself anymore so I gave Don a text and he called me back with minutes. He had guys to my house very quickly and then himself came by once he was done on his call. They got me back up and running after a little hard work and some roots in our pipes. I will definitely be using Don and his guys for future needs. I typically only utilize plumber services if either I can't resolve a plumbing issue on my own or I just don't have enough time. In this case, time was the issue, and I had an unusual toilet clog, which required professional assistance. After several inquiries with various plumbing businesses, no one was available in the afternoon hours. I made one last call, and fortunately for me, Devaney Plumbing answered. In fact, the service technician who took my call was 30 minutes away from being done for the day, and he generously took on the job anyway.
Long story short, the technician arrived, fixed my clogged toilet in 10 minutes, I paid the man, and he was on his way. I HIGHLY recommend DeVinney Plumbing for all your home plumbing needs!

We needed a really old, tiny toilet that was leaking replaced at my in-laws' house while we were staying there over the Christmas holiday. They fit us in the schedule just before Christmas. They were courteous and professional, showed us exactly what was causing the leak and gave us options, though we already knew we wanted a new larger toilet. They made the needed repairs, installed the new toilet all in one day, and at a reasonable price. Santa had a comfy new toilet for Christmas!
Straightforward, prompt, expert service! Our garbage disposal was busted, and they were able to repair it right away.
We have used DeVinney Plumbing twice now. Most recently they took care of a slab leak for us. They diagnosed the problem with precision and accuracy (minimizing damage to our flooring). The crew finished the job timely and just as promised. They were clean, helpful and friendly. They contained the work area and cleaned up well after they finished. Although I didn't end up hiring DeVinney Plumbing, I am sure that Don is an extremely competent plumber. He understood the problem instantly and offered a quality fix at a market price. I deduct one star because Don gave me a bit of a hard sell by offering to drop the price if I agreed to do the work then and there -- this is not the way I preferred to do projects, so I declined, a little more rudely than I had intended. Still, I am quite confident that DeVinney would have done a fine job, had I accepted the deal.
Don and his guys couldn't be nicer. They are very prompt and do a great job. They make sure that things work correctly and are very honest and fair.

A+ for DeVinney Plumbing and Don and Sammy! After a lot of research, we contacted DeVinney to fix a gas line in our backyard that had deteriorated from nearby irrigation and been shut off. Don arrived on time with Sammy and they got right to work looking at our water and gas line architecture. They then executed a beautiful pipe swap and the repair was done. Don is a real gem among plumbers because he was a construction plumber for decades. He knows about everything plumbing and gas line related. He and I talked about everything from tankless hot water heaters (he took the time to look ours over thoroughly and thoughtfully) to repiping. He is really knowledgeable and capable and pleasant and unrushed in execution. Highly recommend him and DeVinney!

Don Devinney and crew were very professional and prompt. They are helping me fix my shower fixture which have unique parts that are hard to find. He was able to find it and will be fixing it once parts arrive. While they were here, I had another unscheduled request to fix my bathroom sink faucet. He did it promptly and was done quick. They wore masks and made me feel COVID safe. The big bonus was that they are local! Love supporting our local businesses. Highly recommend them!

The customer service here at DeVinney was outstanding! We called to have a new shower fixture installed and received a response and in-home visit that day! A few parts were needed, and the knowledgeable technicians knew exactly what was needed. The returned the next day with all necessary part and installed our fixture with expertise and efficiency. We even asked if they could install a new bathroom sink faucet last minute and they happily did it! Pete was our AMAZING installer and we will be using them for all our future projects! Thank you Don and his crew did an excellent job handling my cast iron pipe leak. It required getting the jack hammer and breaking concrete to replace a 10 foot cast iron drain pipe in my walls. I reached out first thing this morning the responded promptly and arrived by 1130am. They were very professional told me the price up front true to word two man crew showed up they cleaned up any mess and were very polite and professional. Would use and recommend again!
My front lawn had a leak! And it was gonna take a lot to fix it! About 4500 they said. It made me sad ... but in the end it was just a smaller repair so it only cost me 1500! I was happy ! The Guys were really nice too!

It was very easy to communicate with them. Don is very friendly and professional. He try to to put you on his schedule as he soon as he can, if not the same day usually within couple days. We had couple toilets stuck and kitchen sink drain making bad smell, he come in 2 days after i called was very honest with what we need to do. We found bad mold under the sink he recommended very good restoration company for us and contacted them for me rigth on the spot. Fixed my restroom sink which was slow, fixed the toilets, recommended replacement, which u will do in couple months.
They are honest, responsible and professional.
Oh also they wear masks the whole time, cares for them and others.

Kitchen sink was clogged and wouldn't drain. They were able to come out the next day and perform a hydro clean which got it running again. Very pleasant associates and did an excellent job.
We called DeVinney Plumbing when we discovered a water leak in our garage ceiling. The team from DeVinney arrived within two hours and determined the leak originated from a faulty wax ring on the master bathroom toilet which was above the garage. They quickly pulled the toilet and replaced the wax ring. They went over and above preparing the workspace by covering the surrounding area and then did a thorough job of cleaning after. The DeVinney team was prompt, knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced. I will definitely call again if the need arises.
From the first phone call to the finished job, everything was easy, straightforward, quality workmanship, and friendly. Don does it right the first time.
Loved how quick, honest and friendly they were. I needed my water heater looked at and they came within a few hours. We had to replace it, luckily he was able to bring a new one just in case so it worked out great! Pricing was reasonable with a lot of experience.

I needed a plumber pretty quick to check for a gas leak that my family's investment property had. The Gas Company had come out to turn off the gas until the problem could be addressed and repaired. I found DeVinney Plumbing on Yelp and saw that they were pretty close to the property in Huntington Beach.
Figured it would be best to find a local plumber. Their reviews were great and recent so I gave them a call on 12/30/2020 around 5:45pm from the phone number on their website. Someone answered pretty quick and asked me all the necessary information and told me a technician would be calling me back. I got a call about 10 minutes later from Don. Explained to him what was happening and he scheduled me for the first appointment the following morning at 9am.
Don came through with Sam to check out our apartment unit. They did pressure testing through the unit and outside. To locate the leak the cost was $475. They were able to locate the leak and do the necessary repairs at a reasonable rate. From start to finish took about 4 hours. Don and Sam were able to explain every step they did and were very thorough. They were very professional and kept things nice and neat. I would totally recommend DeVinney Plumbing to those in need of a great plumber. Thanks for doing a great job and getting the gas up and running for our tenants Don!

My water heater stopped working this morning. I called Don DeVinney and made an appointment for this afternoon. He and his assistant arrived at the designated time, with masks on and installed my new water heater. They were on time and professional. Thank you both.

They snaked our clogged kitchen sink from the clean out outside. It worked! I scheduled some landscaping work and didn't realize that I would need some plumbing work before the job started the following day. I called DeVinney Plumbing after hours and they worked me in the following morning. I was so grateful! The job was done well and at a fair price. Would definitely recommend them!
Don repaired and installed everything I needed him to in a timely manner. He and his associate were very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Definitely calling for their services again if needed in the future.
This plumbing company is the best! Attemptive and reliable! Don and his stuff really did a great job! I remodel my kitchen and they had been fast and very precise! They are professionals and very fast! They made the new pumbing for a sink on the island and and took care of a new sink on the counter! I highly raccomand them!

Extremely disappointed in my experience with this plumbing company. Had good interactions via yelp then the plumber was a no-show. After I inquired with them an hour after the designated appointment time, they informed me they did not want to bid the job because they saw another plumbing truck in the same alley. Unfortunately for them that plumbing company was not associated with us, and they lost out on a large job. I would recommend finding somebody more reliable for your plumbing needs.

I needed a new water heater and a couple of misc. items repaired and i couldn't be happier that I went with Don and DeVinney Plumbing. The work was reasonably priced, he and Sam were very thorough and professional. When the need arises in the future, DeVinney Plumbing will be my first call.
Was having a problem with getting hot water to the bathtub. Don came out on Xmas Eve to try to fix it--but it was more complex than he originally thought. So, came back Xmas morning to finish the job. Now, that's what I call service. Thank you Don!

The pilot on my 13 year old hot water heater wouldn't light, and it was the day before Thanksgiving. I used Dr. google to learn about pricing and repairs of water heaters under similar conditions, even calling a 5 star hot water heater store to learn more. Without any hope for same day relief, I called Don based on his 5 star yelp reviews. 4 hours later I had a new water heater at a reasonable price. Don also advised me about the need to get the gas company out for a natural gas leak he found. Don stayed until he was satisfied that help was coming quickly. I now have Devinney Plumbing in my cellphone contacts list.
Very responsive and quick turnaround time. We called in the morning around 11am due to our water heater going out. By about 1pm they were there with the new one to install. Simple as that and at what appeared to be a decent price.

I recently hired DeVinney Plumbing to fix a leaky pipe in my bathroom and I must say that I'm impressed with their service. We have been using DeVinney Plumbing for many years now so this review is long overdue. Most recently, we called DeVinney Plumbing to replace our water heater that Donny DeVinney installed in 2001. We scheduled the appointment and was able to work with my schedule. DeVinney Plumbing ordered a new water heater and installed right away. The day of the appointment, Donny installed it without any complications even though the water heater was a little bigger than my old one and it fit perfect. We then asked him if he could install a new sink in our master bedroom. What do know? - NO PROBLEM! Donny and his crew were thorough, clean, professional and super friendly! They were very knowledgeable throughout the process which is very much appreciated. You can count on DeVinney Plumbing and their reliability, honesty and patience.
We are very happy with our experience with Donny and the DeVinney family. We trust their work and the crew and would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

Called and told them my problem. The lady said that somebody would call me back in a few minutes. They did it in about 10 minutes and set up installation for the next day, Thursday. Fine with me. Called back in an hour and said they could come in a few minutes. Beautiful. Aaron and his partner were fast and good. 45 minutes including credit card payment. They are on my list for any future plumbing.
Our hot water stopped working and I wasn't sure why so I called DeVinney. He came with his team right away and figured out why we weren't getting hot water. Would recommend using DeVinney if you're looking for someone who responds fast and knows his stuff!
I would summarize them with one word:
Unprofessional.
I had a scheduled appointment for a minor toilet repair. They did not show-up, call, or provide a satisfactory explanation.
I phoned to schedule a root removal service on the three inch exterior drain lines on the side of our house. Don phoned me back that same day and scheduled a service for the following morning. Don and his assistant arrived right on schedule. The first attempt to brake down the roots was done with the rooter, changing blades three times, with no advance. The hydro jet was used next, at each and ever angle of attack, again with no progress. A second attempt with the rooter and then the hydro jet, again with no success. After one good hour of attacking, the mutual decision was made to stop. I am grading this as a five star rating because Don made every effort to succeed.
These guys are awesome! I called them, explained the problem, and they came and fixed the problem the same day. Aaron (sp) and the gentleman that he came with were polite, knowledgeable and thorough. Aaron even cleaned up the disgusting grease and gunk on the kitchen sink. I told him I would clean it but he did it anyway.
I highly recommend them.

Having to review (or even hire) a plumber is probably the last thing any of us EVER want to do, so I'll just keep this short and sweet-
Called DeVinney Plumbing this morning after I determined I couldn't unclog the washing machine drain myself. They were able to give me a 'ballpark' estimate on the phone for the repairs and came out right away (I was lucky to catch an open window). Upon inspecting the drain, the ballpark estimate went down and the guys engaged in the work.
Few hours later, things were fixed, washing machine was hooked back up and moved into place, floor was clean from the leak (which I didn't expect them to do). They were great and definitely think I got a fair deal and some bonus feel-goods for supporting a local business'.
I hope to not need a plumber again any time soon, but if I do- I know who my first call will be!
I referred DeVinney Plumbing to my brother-in-law's new bathroom remodel after working with them on several job sites. The service was performed on time, the bathroom bath/shower worked great and his new customer was happy. Would do business again!

Don and his team of hard working professionals are all you will need for your plumbing needs. They came out to my home and repaired a pipe showing high amounts of corrosion and found the source of a leak that had a few others stumped. Had a leak in the bathroom that required the water to be shutoff. With no running water in the house I was trying to get someone to come out to take a look/fix it asap so I contacted DeVinney Plumbing and Don DeVinney was able make it out to me in about an hour. Turns out I had a damaged pipe that had to be repaired and a replacement valve had to be installed. Don was able to get the job completed timely. No more leak and no more stress of not having running water.

Needed a local plumber and was referred to DeVinney plumbing by my neighbor, called and was told that they could come out the following day, I explained that it was an emergency and they later called back within an hour and said they would be on the way today! Wow! Great service, got a fair and honest estimate and finished the job within two hours. Did some other work replacing an outside ball shut off valve. Very neat and professional, Sammy and his apprentice Arron did an outstanding job, would not hesitate calling or recommending them again. I appreciate the fact that they were able to come out the same day and did not take advantage of an apparent emergency. Thank you.
I used Don at DeVinney Plumbing again today to replace a garbage disposal and he was hyere and replaced the disposal before 2pm the same day and what a relief to get something like done so quickly. Seems this is the second time I used them and totally forgot about the first 5 star review I gave them 3 years ago, but they are worth mentioning them again since they were so great.
They are a family business, very professional and the quickest to respond when I asked for a quote. You should consider them when you need top notch help in a hurry and the cost was more than fair.
This is my 2nd in-home interaction with Don (we have talked once in the phone in the interim). He came to help me unclog my shower drain, which had been backing up for several weeks. As always, he took the time to explain what had occurred and then fixed it in an efficient and timely manner. We also discussed other pipe concerns that I had. As previously, I feel I am in good hands with Don when it comes to plumbing issues.

This is the first plumber we used in Huntington Beach. We had a handyman install a new toilet, but unfortunately encountered some problems. It was leaking through one floor and we found DeVinney Plumbing online since they had great reviews. The owner, Don, personally called us back and came over within an hour. He and his team solved the problem in under 30 minutes, and in turn earned a customer for life!
Devinney was great. They were clearly swamped but still made the time to get out to my house on a Saturday. Both guys were very competent and fast. They were able to replace the copper pipe and hook up my fridge. I will use them again.
Our bathtub was clogged, they came out right away and took care of the problem in a timely manner.

We called DeVinney Plumbing yesterday morning because our kitchen sink stopped draining. We spoke to Don DeVinney who put us on his schedule for early afternoon (same day). He and his assistant arrived at 2pm (after calling first), both wearing masks. They were polite and professional; before starting work Don told us what it would cost (a reasonable cost, in my opinion). They were here less than an hour, cleared the drain (fat and grease buildup had clogged the line), and cleaned up when finished. I would not hesitate to contact Don for any future plumbing issues.
Don is the absolute best! He kept in great contact before service and once he was here he got the job done quickly and efficiently. He did better work than any other plumber I've worked with. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a fantastic plumber!
They knocked it out of the park. Don showed up and we decided the answer to my problem, hot water not staying hot long enough for hot bath with two fills, . Ladies might understand what I mean by that. He could fit me in the next day! I was not expecting that. They did a beautiful job on the install. I was expecting a 25% increase in hot water by replacing a 40G with a 50G but it did more than that. Obviously putting in a new hot water heater fixed a unknown problem that I'm still not clear o.
I got a shot glass stuck in my garbage disposal and they came soon as I called fixed it, were quick professional and cost effective. Thank you Devinney!!

Responded promptly and diagnosed an issue with a leaky pipe quickly. Very friendly and cleaned up well afterwards.
Mr. DeVinney himself came out with Sammy and fixed my toilet and kitchen sink leaks. They knocked it out in an hour. Should've called them to begin with. Waited two days and the other plumber never showed. Mr. DeVinney happened to be available and came out right away. I love them!

We had a faucet, air vent, and garbage disposal installation on our renovated kitchen. We got a few quotes. DeVinney came out and quoted us a few hundred dollars less than the other companies. When he and his apprentice showed up they were very professional. They wore masks and were very friendly. DeVinney was training during the call and he communicated clearly and made sure to teach the details matter. I watched him show his apprentice the importance in the small details, like making sure the label on the sink was centered to the upper facet piece and the drain. When he noticed there was grease and gunk in the old pipes he offered to snake it at a discounted price, so that we started out new kitchen with pristine plumbing. They left the area clean and were quick. We are also renovating our bathroom and putting a dishwasher when it arrives from over seas. We will definitely be having them back.
Had a terrible recurring plumbing problem; line to septic system kept clogging. They came out and did extensive repairs quickly. Showed me what was the problem, and how they were fixing it along the way. Even charged me a good deal LESS than they quoted me.

Yesterday afternoon, Mom told me her bathroom sink wouldn't drain just as I was brushing my teeth and noticing MY bathroom sink wasn't draining. I used DeVinney's Plumbing service today to clean up my home's draining pipes. They were very easy to work with -- they responded to my request instantly, showed up the next morning, and quickly solved my problem. On top of that, they were very friendly and diligent when working. I would definitely recommend using their services.
I had a leak under my kitchen sink that I just noticed in the morning. I immediately started calling around to see if anyone could come out today. Don did answer my call. He was going out on another job but he would come help me once he was done. I sent him pics via phone so he could have an idea of what was the issue. He did suggest a new faucet would probably be best. I agreed and asked where would be the best place for me to go. He offered to get one for me and sent me pictures so I could choose which I greatly appreciated. I also had 2 toliets that needed fixing as well. Don and his helper did a fantastic job and left the areas clean. He was very fair on the pricing for work completed. There also was no trip or inspection fee for my estimate. I would highly recommend his services and if I have future issues I will be calling him again.
I realized today that plumbers are one of the most important ppl in our lives! All my stuff was backed up. Mr. DeVinney was FAST and super reasonably priced for an after hours emergency call. I will def. Keep this place in my rolodex.
Our house developed a leak from the upstairs shower/sink plumbing which started dripping through our living room ceiling. I called DeVinney plumbing who took my info and came out right away. They found the problem quickly, which was a corroded drain pipe and came up with a game plan to replace it. Sam, Don, and Aaron replaced the entire drain pipe in a couple hours and were able to properly grade the pipe to help prevent this from happening again. They were all really nice, professional, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend DeVinney Plumbing and will give them a call for my future plumbing needs.

Aaron and Sam keep in contact for delays in arriving due to their first job taking more time.
They arrived right when the said they would and immediately tackled my plumbing problem. Both troubleshot complications and made every effort to address my problem.
I called DeVinney Plumbing last week when I noticed that there was a leak under the kitchen sink while our dishwasher was running through the rinse cycle. Don and one of his team members were able to come out the same day that I called, they assessed the problem and fixed it within 20 minutes or so and the price was fair. It's been a month since they hydro jetted my house. No more laundry drain over flowing. Big wash loads no problem anymore. I had the same drain rotor routed many times for no benefit. Wasted $$$$$$. Thank you De Vinney.
Kitchen sink had been a slow drainer for a long time. Finally became a no drainer. They showed up exactly when they said they would, hydro jetted my kitchen drain and its all good to go. Highly recommend.
I had a surprise, ugly drain clog in my sink that I quickly realized was too much for me. When my regular plumber was busy, I looked up Don and I'm so glad I did! Don and his team gave me an accurate quote on the phone and had my sink running like new again in just shy of an hour even though I was bugging him with questions the whole time (Hate to waste a learning opportunity)! Moved into a new house, needed some plumbing work due to leaks. They came over for an estimate, but I had to reach out to them to reschedule ( I was hoping they would be more proactive), but once I called them back to schedule the actual service they were great. They're a small company, and are shorthanded, so be patient, but they give great service when they do the work. Reasonable prices. They even waited a bit while I went out to buy a faucet, even though they were super busy. Great service, would use them again definitely.
The great reviews they have are accurate! I had a plumbing issue on Saturday afternoon and called a few places that were closed. They however called me back. I got a follow up call first thing Monday morning and they came out to fix my problem before noon. Aaron and Sammy were great and their prices are very reasonable. They let me know when they were on route to my house and kept me informed while working. I am so happy to have a great plumbing contact for future needs and am so appreciate of customer services at the standard they provided. I will happily refer them to friends or clients!

I woke up this Saturday morning to water backing up in my shower. I looked on yelp and called around but got multiple places that didn't answer. Not only did DeVinney answer but they were able to be at my home within a couple of hours. Don was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He was very thorough explaining everything to me. Highly recommend and will definitely call again!

We had DeVinney Plumbing over to quote us on our remodel. We needed some extensive work done for construction, and sadly they passed due to the size and scope of work (definitely not your normal plumbing job and it was hard to find someone in general!). However, Don had a ton of plumbing construction experience and I reached out to him for a second opinion when we didn't agree with what our plumber was suggesting. He was so knowledgeable and kind and explained why we should go this direction over another way. I don't know how many people on Memorial Day Sunday would call you back to discuss this matter with us, but we are so appreciative he did. We are very bummed DeVinney plumbing passed on our construction project, but totally understand. We will be calling him for any plumbing needs after our construction is over and referring him out to all our friends and family.
I called at closing time & even though Don was on his way out the door, & the answering service was just turned on, he responded anyway... & made the appointment for me the very next day for late morning, which was perfect for me!
Before his arrival, he called to confirm & was here within 10 mins. He checked out the issue, found the culprit, fixed it stopped the bleeding lol & gave me a quote for a repair of the area & the poor pipes that need to be replaced (not as a gimmick or upsell, it is obvious repairs are needed)... friendly, easy going & Professional.

Our house was built in 1956. Our sewer lines were infested with tree roots and backed up frequently. I called DeVinney to have the lines cleared. Aaron and Sammy came out and checked the lines with the camera. Roots everywhere. They recommended hydrojetting the lines. (a bit more expensive, but far less expensive than replacing pipes). This was a great decision. Sammy and Aaron hydrojetted the lines and followed with the camera to be sure all roots were cleaned out. So far everything is draining perfectly. I highly recommend DeVinney Plumbing for hydrojetting if you have reoccuring problems with roots, or an old house.
They were so nice and efficient ! They found the problem very quick and we're in and out in 25 min. I will definitely use them for the next clog ahah

Don replaced a broken stop valve in our bathroom faucet on a Sunday afternoon. Left out of town and of course as soon as I landed I get a call that the laundry room is backing up...luckily we saved DeVinney's number and we were able to get them to send a plumber over asap!!! Our water heater broke and Don's team came out the next day to replace it. I called them a month earlier asking for a quote in case this happened and they honored that price. July 4th plumbing problem. I sent a request out and had a few responses Don with DaVinney plumbing followed up with a call and time he could be there, called to advise he was on his way, showed up, assessed the plumbing and the probable issue along with time and cost to repair. Went about his business efficiently and had us fixed up with cleared drains in under 30 mins. Also gave us some pointers for preventive maintenance. Proficient and professional. Highly recommend

We had a gas leak in the outside wall according to the Gas Co. who came out and tested. He shut off our gas.
I called DeVinney Plumbing. Don came out the next day. Found the leak. Turned out it was in the ground. The pipe had a large hole in it. He replaced the piece of pipe. Seems to have corrected the problem.
Don did a good job. The cost was more than we had anticipated.

DeVinney Plumbing is EXCELLENT!! We had a leaky shower and Don was able to come out the same day to repair it. We also had an issue with our kitchen sink and, because of Don's suggestion, we were able to get a free replacement part from the manufacturer and Don did the repair. My toilet had become unseated to the floor. Called Don early in the morning and he was able to squeeze me in later that morning.
He called before arriving and arrived with his helper. He advised us on what needed to be done.
He and his helper protected the bathroom floor, removed the toilet did the repair and reinstalled the toilet with no issues.

Don and Aaron came out on New Year's day and cleared our sewer main. They did a quick thorough job and saved our day. My neighbors and I have used Devinney before and are happy with their service and professionalism.
I found DeVinney plumbing in yelp and I read their reviews which were very positive. The owner came out and did a quick estimate and we approved and he came out the next morning and completed the job. He was quick and honest and knew his business. I would highly recommend this plumber.

We had a great experience with Don from Devinney Plumbing. Knowledgeable, honest, friendly, great quality and great value. Far and away, he is now our go-to plumber.
We needed video footage of our clean-out to the main city sewer line for the city prior to our remodel. The first company that we had come out (Elite Rooter) gave us poor footage and claimed that our main had issues that needed repair. Then they tried to sell us on a $16,000 dollar job. So we opted to get a second opinion.
Man i wish we had called Devinney plumbing first. He was there right on time. Great communication. The video quality was fantastic and it was easy to see that our piping is almost flawless. Saving us from an uneeded $16k bill. We greatly appreciate the honesty and integrity.
To sum things up, this is your go-to plumber that you can trust.

I had a very particular install for a vintage bathtub, after calling several plumbers who could not perform the job I was finally referred to DeVinney Plumbing by another plumber. They got my project done in one day, were very cordial and punctual, and left the worksite clean. I can't recommend the company enough, and I will be sure to use their services again when the need arises.

We first met Don and his crew when we rebuilt our 1959 midcentury modern home. Over the next year, he re-plumbed the entire home including a new tankless water heater, water softener, re-routing gas lines, adding new gas and sewer lines, new kitchen fixtures, new bathroom fixtures, new everything. (really, everything)
The part that separates him from other contractors is the communication, before, during and *after* the job is finished. Any questions I had, he was able to answer. He always answers my calls within 24 hours.
We have since sold that home and purchased another in Huntington Beach. He has now replaced the water heater and recirculating pump and replaced some plumbing fixtures in this house and we are preparing for a large kitchen remodel and will use him again.
Just today, we had an old fridge being removed and while Best Buy was there, they could not find the water valve for the built in. I called Don and he came over right away! Not only could he take care of the issue, he found the valve (inside a cabinet under the oven of all places!) and was able to take care of the problem immediately! He saved me a ton of stress and time!

Donny and his helper were very friendly and professional. Had several plumbing issues at my house that they worked on and they did it very efficiently and timely I would definitely call them again for future plumbing services.
I had a bathtub spout that corroded and fell off completely, effectively preventing me from diverting the water to the shower head. Don (the owner) gave me a prompt quote and his price was fair! How do I know? I have experience in construction/contracting so I know that he gave me a good price. It was something I could have fixed on my own but I just didn't have the time. The water from washer was backing up while draining. There is no vent so they have to find the vent pipe, it would require to open the drywall. They can't take that task, too much work. Issue not fix yet, but they did not charge me.
DeVinney plumbing has done work on my friends 2 properties. Work has varied from the water main and hose spigot on outside, and the kitchen sink faucet replacent. Don the owner has been out for the water main and his employee Aaron on all the jobs. They are friendly, professional and efficient. Hope we do not need any plumbing work for awhile, we will call DeVinney again when needed though.
Had an issue & was very helpful. Instead of trying to dupe me, he was honest about his specialty & skill set and referred me to another company that he thought could be more helpful.

I liked everything price was right, I did add a sprayer connection to the back of the toilet. In addition to the removal of the toilet.
After fighting to get a decent quote I don't want to argue why was that not mentioned in the beginning when I was given a $200 quote over the phone..?
Why wouldn't that be included.?
The sprayer yea I get it I could do it myself that being said I basically showed them how to install.
They fixed a ring as well.
Surprise cost toilet removal over priced for sprayer install and they fixed the ring.
Total $300 versus the $200 quoted.
On time and clean COVID compliant and easy to work with.
***update*** they called and text me to and rectify the issue.
Which they didn't have to do switched to 5 stars.

DeVinney plumbing came on a Saturday and was able to fix an issue a previous plumber wasn't able to clear. We will definitely be calling them again for our plumbing needs.
I needed help removing a shower cartridge that was likely original in our 1960's home. The bonnet nut had corroded and wouldn't budge, and whoever owned the house before us had clearly tried and failed to remove it, as the nut was nearly stripped. I called first thing on a Monday morning and they had the plumbers (Sam/Aaron) out here in less than an hour. Right at the outset, they told me that there was a high likelihood that they would need to cut out the whole valve and replace it (which would have been 4 times the cost). However, they spent nearly an hour working on the bonnet nut and finally got it off, then replaced the shower cartridge for me. They could have gone the easier route (and the one that would have made them more money) by simply cutting out the old valve, but they went above and beyond to try and save me some money - and they did. I just put their phone number into my contact list, as they are now my go-to plumbers!
Quick and efficient, did a great job! Price was fair and he come on time and was professional.
Had a water heater leak at our business over the weekend. I called DeVinney after research on Yelp and based on recommendations. The issue wasn't urgent but he was available the following day.
I had a gas leak in ground that required breaking through the cement for repair. He explained the work needed and worse case scenarios. He started working right away. In the end, found two leaks and replaced about 6' of pipe for the repair. Patched everything up except filling cement and also tested the line.
Thanks for the quick and thorough repair. I'll have his number handy for any future repairs or plumbing work. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with DeVinney Plumbing. They are super knowledgable and patient. I've been hearing dripping sound inside a ceiling opening (it was opened for something else). I thought the dripping sound is a leak. I called DeVinney. They scheduled me the very next morning. Two people came and looked through all the faucets, toilet and showers. They checked the ceiling opening and made sure the subfloor is not wet. They explained to me the loud dripping noise was actually cracking sound from the points where wood touches the pipe. The noise is more obvious because the change of weather. They didn't charge me for their insights. I plan to keep using them in the future and highly recommend this business.

I'm so glad we found Don. They reached out to me quickly after I submitted a web inquiry. He showed up to our house to evaluate the work before providing a quote. He has always been responsive to my calls and emails. Don and his team did a great job installing our whole house water softener and reverse osmosis systems. He is very experienced, thorough, educates us through the process and more importantly does the right thing without taking shortcuts. We had a clogged sink that we'd tried all of our regular strategies, with nothing working. It was a Saturday and many plumbers weren't open. I called DeVinney Plumbing and a very pleasant woman took my information telling me she'd get our request to her workers, but not sure whether their schedule would allow them to get there that day. Within ten minutes Don DeVinney called, said he could absolutely be out within a couple of hours, he'd keep me posted. He texted me when he was on his way, an hour earlier than he thought he could arrive. He came in masked, worked efficiently, solved our two issues in less than an hour.. very reasonable...we were thrilled. He will always be who we call first.
Called on Saturday morning and left a message. Don called back almost immediately and said he had a couple jobs ahead of me, but could come right after. Sure enough he was here about three hours later with his apprentice Aaron. They had the blockage cleared in about 45 minutes. The price was more than fair, and these were two really personable guys. After a previous bad experience with a different plumber, I'm delighted to have found my go to professional reliable plumbers!

Well Don DeVinney and his Plumber Pete just left here (11/30/21) and I gotta say a few things that were notable. This was our 1st time using DeVinney Plumbing and it won't be our last... Arrival was prompt, they inquired details from us and addressed our issue (clogged toilet/main drain). Within minutes they were both at work attempting to locate the clog . We only have a 2 cleanout (house was built in 1969)... Both Pete and Don worked with focus and determination for nearly two hours, Snakes, cameras and a wireless contraption that emitted miscellaneous beep tones at various points in the drainage system (I guess) to let them know where the culprit pipe and clog were...at one point it appeared they would have to dig and add a very costly but bigger cleanout in a nearby area to the bathroom that started the issue in the first place. After Pete had already retrieved the 90+ foot snake and next sent the camera down exposing standing water (clogs will do that) Don decided to send the snake down one last time and after another 20-25 minutes or so, as he began retrieving that snake a large chunk of what appeared to be fabric of some kind came out wrapped midway around the 90 + foot snakes' cable (I was told it wasn't fabric but a swatch of a large WIPE of some kind) ...I ran into the bathroom and the water level was at a normal height in the toilet bowl !! SUCCESS ! Pete went in, ran the water and as Don and I stood at the small 2 cleanout we noted no water was exiting the system any longer because the clog was cleared !! Both my wife and I are very happy. As far as the cost it was around $-25-$75 less than I expected so, in our opinion, more than fair. When, after several attempts at finding a trustworthy, quality plumber over the years I think we finally found our guy(s) I asked two neighbors for referrals and they BOTH recommended DeVinney...they were right...

I called these guys on a Friday morning when my moms toilet was overflowing. They answered right away and were able to schedule for later that day (and even called and came early!).
Aaron and Sammy (I think that's his name) were very personable and quickly snaked the drain and seemed to have fixed the problem. They weren't crazy expensive but they weren't a great deal either. But, okay, I was satisfied.
However, that night, things started to back up again. I called them in the morning and Aaron called me back (very quickly - thank you!) and told me that they would probably need to snake the laundry line now - which wouldn't be as expensive but was still a couple hundred bucks. Ugh. However, he called back shortly after and said he'd spoken to his co-worker and they decided it wasn't that and they'd come out for free to take another look. Great!
They came out and we had the WEIRDEST problem ever. Someone had uncapped the clean out, outside of our condo (before we bought it) and our whole row of condos had been overflowing outside for who knows how long. I do not blame DeVinney Plumbing at all for not finding this the first time - who would have thought?!
But, if I had one critique, it would be that Aaron seemed to quickly want to tell me the answers to my questions without being fully knowledgable. Sometimes, I'd ask something, he'd quickly answer and then Sammy would quietly tell him that he was wrong. I appreciate that Aaron would correct himself but I'd rather he just be up front if he didn't know the answer. Especially because he was ready to charge me another couple hundred bucks for the second call - which wouldn't have fixed it or been needed. But...that being said...he did check first and was honest and fixed the problem that we paid to have fixed originally. We appreciated the honesty.
Lastly, Aaron re-wrote the invoice after the second visit, with all the new stuff they had done, so I could show my HOA. However, he left off the $20 that he charged me for a new clean out cap. It's not a huge deal but it doesn't show the full price that I paid. I think this was an honest oversight.
I would definitely call DeVinney again. Great, honest guys that truly understand the speedy needs of plumbing service.

DeVinney Plumbing is the way to go! Reached out to them late evening, received a reply within minutes. Next day they were out to render service. First impressions are facts. Pleasant, polite, respectful and friendly. We felt comfortable having them in our home as they practiced the whole social distancing, masks and fist bumps. Donny assessed, we approved and he went right to work. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who came with him. They work well together. Both extremely knowledgable in their field of expertise. It really made us feel comfortable. Our sink was replaced in no time! No more leaking faucet. Water heater burst in the middle of the night. They were very responsive when I called in the morning, gave me an estimated time of 12-2 and came shortly after 12. Completely drained water heater and fixed the hole in a little over an hour. Really nice people too!

My water heater was leaking and I messaged DeVinney Plumbing about what was going on. Don DeVinney called me within a few minutes to inquire further and ask if I wanted his plumbers to come out and check on my issue. I said yes and within the hour Aaron and Sammy were at my house. They gave me multiple options and a fair estimate. Their work was professional and my new water heater works/looks great. We had a backed up main drain. Don came out promptly on a Friday evening. He was able to unclog the drain quickly and was friendly, honest and knowledgeable. I would recommend DeVinney plumbing.
I had water backing up in a guest shower late in the afternoon. Called them up and the guys Aaron and Sammy were here within the hour. They were able to clear the line and provided several practice maintenance solutions to prevent it from happening again. Loved that they answered promptly, were able to get me on their schedule that day, and did a great job while keeping my place clean. Thank you- highly recommend. I will say it was a bit pricey for snaking my kitchen sink but I think that since it was later in the day and they were able to get here that afternoon there might have been a charge for that too which is fine.

Thank you, Don and Aron for all there help fixing Dao, Irvine, CA plumbing.
I called DeVinney Plumbing for an emergency leak service at 3 pm on Monday (MLK holiday), talked to answering service and Don called back within 5 minutes.
Don was courteous over the phone and offered to come over immediately.
He showed up within 30 minutes with his assistant, in 2 separate big work vans.
Quickly assessed the issues and provided a reasonable quote.
They laid out their drop cloths so they would not get their shoe prints onto my new carpet.
They removed the badly sealed and leaky toilet, used the snake camera to inspect the clog/roots, then used the manual root snake to clear the roots at about 30 feet out.
The whole job took about an hour, Don is pleasant to work with and talk to.
I would call him again for future plumbing needs, and highly recommend his service due to reasonable price, fast service, professionalism, knowledgeable, and pleasant.

What can I say about DeVinney Plumbing, DON the owner and his partner SAM were life savers!, I had a exterior pipe that cracked leading into the house. Go figure, it happened around 4pm near the end of a working day. I called Don who was finishing a job and had another one lined up. After he finished both jobs, he immediately told me he was on his way. I couldn't be happier, especially with 2 kids needing to shower and get through the night. He came, replaced 2 shut off valves and redid some piping,, they did the job and did it right and was done within a couple hours. For that, my family is grateful for the work and this company will be our go to company for the next plumbing services. I highly recommend this company, and will let my neighbors know about the good work they do.
I called on a Saturday afternoon for a Monday appointment and they answered promptly. I had a follow up call to set up an appointment within the hour.
They arrived Monday on time, installed a garbage disposal and cleared the kitchen pipes. It was done quickly without a mess left behind.

The company I work for Urban Arena had an unexpected leak over the weekend. When I called DeVinney Plumbing he came out same day, had some ideas of the issue and was able to come in the next day. We replaced our water heater and were quoted half of the price that some of the larger plumbing companies quoted. Aaron was so responsive from the minute I called. He and Sammy came by and had the new water heater up and running quickly! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!
Our shower/tub broke and we were unable to fully shut the water off. The next morning, I called and left a message. Needed a gas valve repaired to have a stove installation the next day. A request was put in and Don replied back within 10 minutes and in the next hour he was at my place and was able to replace it with a working valve quickly. Great customer service, would use again.
I awoke to water on my garage floor last week and unable to find the source of the leak. After checking the water heater and my solar water heater, everything seemed fine. It was after a called Don DeVinney Plumbing when he found my copper water in my wall had a pin hole in the copper tubing. Don discussed my options of either fixing the line or repipe the house. We plan on living the rest of our lives in this house and decided a repipe with PEX was the best course. Don and his crew repiped the house in one day and finished up all wall repairs to paint grade the next. We are very happy we chose the right plumber to do this job.
Just wanted to update my post with a few photos and add that Don was very patient with our long list of plumbing problems! Next on the list is the master bathroom shower and jacuzzi tub leak!

Our regular plumber was no longer in business, so we were at the mercy of yelp. We were pleased that Devinny Plumbing was local and shocked that they could be at our home in an hour, and it was NOT an emergency job. Aaron and Sammy showed up within the time frame they quoted and were respectful of us and our home. They got right to work; unfortunately, they would not be able to fix the problem due to inferior parts that were needed. They were honest with us and explained why they didn't feel it was in our best interest to continually have to be making the same repair, and they would not do the work. After talking it over, we decided it was time for a new toilet. They were able to deliver and install a new toilet that afternoon. Sammy and Aaron noticed a connecting water hose that was old and should also be replaced before we would have another problem. They had one in another location, which they went and got. Unfortunately, it did not fit so apologetically; they were not able to replace it. Now, you would think this was the end of the story, but no. A few days later, we get a call, and it's Aaron. While on another job, he found the hose we needed! He came right over and with no cost to us installed the part. Customer service from this company is exemplary. Their employees are knowledgeable and courteous. We feel lucky to have found a respectful company with which to do business. I wish there were more like it out there!

My washer drain needed cleaning out and we had tried numerous times ourselves but it just would plug back up. Our usual plumber was unavailable and another couldn't get to us fast enough. DeVinney replied back quickly and could come out before anyone else. It ended up more $ than I had thought because their quote assumed we had a clean out drain and we did not. They had to put in a removable area on the drain pipe to clean out and for use in the future. I would have given a 5 star except for the fact they gave me a 2 hour time window and didn't call till the window had just passed that they would be late. Workers were nice, polite and advised what needed to be done.
Mr. DeVinney and his team were professional and did an excellent job installing the earthquake valve.

Don did an amazing job at my place. He responded
so quickly and was very good about communicating with me what was going on via text or phone call. To me that's one of the most important things any time I request a service from yelp. When he came over to take a look at things, he was very diligent about assessing the problems that was going on. I originally hired him to fix a gas pipe that was above ground. When he assessed the pipe he found that the pipes that were leading underground were also going bad. So once he figured that out he came up with a solution that not only was the quickest way to get the gas working in our house but also saved us a lot of money. Our gas line is located in the corner perimeter of my house. There's a pipe that feeds gas into our garage which is detached from my house and a pipe that runs to the main house. Don found a clever way to drill as minimal of the concrete as much as possible. He ran the gas pipe through the ceiling of my garage so he wouldn't have to drill into the floor (thank god because we very recently just had our garage floor redone). For our house he was able to run majority of the pipe through our small garden. I was afraid he would have to take out a massive portion of our patio tile, but he did it in a way where he only had to take out a small section. His team was highly efficient and got our gas working again after one day of work. His team did an amazing job restoring what my patio looked like and they were friendly and very professional. I absolutely recommend Don for all your plumbing needs!

I went on Yelp to find a local plumber to convert my electric stove to gas. I like to typically like to get three quotes, so I called three local companies with great reviews.
DeVinney Plumbing came out right away (same day) to give me a quote. Don was very friendly and professional when he arrived. He provided me with details on how he would make it work, since the gas main is on the other side of the house, along with the dryer, furnace, etc.
I called back a few days later after getting all my quotes to let him know I was interested in moving forward with the job, and they came and started the same day! Throughout the entire job, the crew was very professional: cleaned up after themselves, wore a mask (covid), communicated and went the extra mile to include a gas line hose to the stove, and installed the stove too! Folks, this is what you call taking care of your customers! Rare to find companies like DeVinney these days.
Overall, extremely satisfied with their service. I've used a lot of plumbers in the past and wish I would have used them from the beginning! Odd, but true...one of the companies I received a bid from encouraged me to call DeVinney for a quote. Glad I did!
I called Don on a Holiday Monday morning thinking I would have to wait for service until the following day. But to my delight he arrived 20 minutes later to install and update my kitchen sink and rebuild the toilet tank. He had it all completed in 2 hrs at the quoted rate. No hidden costs. DeVinney Plumbing ROCKS!!!
When I remodeled our home, I had to fire the contactor-Ken Chau-don't use him. He uses unlicensed subs, doesn't pay them, cuts corners, is dishonest , and couldn't swing a hammer efficiently if his life depended on it.
I was lucky enough to get the max from both his bonds, which was a blessing. However, it didn't come close to the losses of time and money I lost due to Ken Chau's dishonesty and incompetence. The Contractors State License Board estimated I lost between 65-65 thousand dollars after the bond paid. That was my fault for putting in too much money up front.
Chau, of course, used an unlicensed 'plumber'. The young man tried his best. However, he just didn't have the funds from Chau and couldn't do the job correctly. He had hammered and dented hopper plumbing lines, faked completed lines to fool inspectors, and tried every cheap trick you can imagine. I have photos!!!
U brought in DeVinney Plumbing! They saved, salvaged, and perfected our project!!! You can't get any better!!!

I reached out to a few plumbers via the yelp app and DeVinney Plumbing was one of the first to respond. I text them my number and heard from the owner himself. Explained that I was looking to HydroJet to my sewer system and he asked a few questions about cleanout locations due to the wet nature of the job. Talked for a minute or two about coming out to view the project and provide a quote when he asked me where I was located. I stated that my house is in Santa Ana. I contacted DeVinney Plumbing on a Thursday because of a leak coming from our main valve line. This leak was extending out onto the street gutters. Don DeVinney responded to me the same day and came out to assess the situation. Pete & Sammy come out to do the service request the day after. The problem ended up being an unsoldered pipe between the shut off valve and the underground main (when the house was built 23 years ago!). I find DeVinney Plumbing very responsive, fair and honest. This is the second time I've used DeVinney this year. I will definitely use them again.

- Showed up within 2 hours of my call on a weekday afternoon (it seemed I was lucky and caught him finishing up another call, with no other plans?)
- Listened to our concern about how a trim piece would look and offered a solution that worked (for an extra charge)
The not so good
- The mentioned trim piece was installed crooked, so they had to come back to fix (which they did the next day)
- they left extra globs of caulk in the grout in 2 places
- did I mention expensive? Google says Master plumbers top out at $200/hour. Tom made more than that, even after factoring in parts and his helpers time.
Bottom line: I paid supremo prices for work that had some obvious visible issues, and now I am wondering about the work I can't see - I hope it holds up.
I never met Don I spoke with him over the phone and sounded really professional and intelligent man to talk with. I sent him a picture of my rough plumbing I'm working on and it didn't even take 5 minutes for him to reply back with instructions how to fix the issue. I'm recommending everyone who needs a plumber to work with Don.
Updated: After posting my review, Don contacted me and wanted to address my issues. He was professional and understanding. Each issue was addressed to my satisfaction. He cares about his customer. Thank you.

Two stars, Could have been better. Why this low rating? There were mistakes and overestimated tactic used. They received two stars because the leak was fixed.
Called and received a call back within an hour which is nice. I texted them photos of the problem and they were able to come within three hours. Aaron provided an estimate of $1,200.00 for estimated five hours of work for a main water line leak. Also, an additional $800 to replace a main water shutoff valve to the house, 3 hours of work. So $2k for seven hours of work. They completed the job in three hours. I felt cheated on the estimate. This is not the reasons why they lost three stars of rating.
The lost rating stars for the following issues. After the work completed, paid them in full and they left. I checked the work. One of the sprinkler head is broken next to the dig site. I text the picture; no response. Minus one star. Then two days later, I found out three out of the five sprinkler valve failed to close, leaving the sprinkler open, water running continuously. After taking the sprinkler valve apart, I found solder bead stuck on the sprinkler valve diaphragm which prevent complete seal when off. Two stars off for this huge mistake. They failed to bleed the water line when fixing the leak sending countless solder flowing into the house water main. This is a hazard. They made three attempts to fix the water leak, sweating the copper pipes.
Overall, would I use them again in the future? Very unlikely.
I contacted Don on a Sunday for a gas leak and was able to have Aaron and Sammy come to my house the next day. They called me before my time window to confirm the appointment and showed up on time. They offered to wear a face covering, which I appreciated. After multiple attempts to find out where the leak was coming from, they were able to fix the problem and replaced some parts that were defective. I believe I paid a fair price for the work performed especially because their service is also guaranteed, and would recommend their service.

Funny, I was asked to write my review on DeVinney plumbing, and to be honest, I do not recall the exact issue I had, but I know for sure, if there was a problem with them, I would have remembered, so my vote is that these are a good choice.
Both toilets backed up then the shower drain and last but not least the washing machine drain is plugged. Kids need to hit the gas station to use the bathroom but instead we called Devinney Plumbing. They came out within hours of our call and took care of it. Good guys, wearing masks, respectable and knew what to do.

Our sewage line backed up on a Sunday and Don was out within two hours to clear the clog so that we could use our toilets and showers again. Consummate professional, fixed our issue in no time at all. Thanks Don!
