Been using Bob for almost 3 years now. Always reasonable with pricing. However, I am so disappointed with him. He came out to my house because we were selling and had a few requests for repairs. He fixed our gas line in 5 minutes. Literally. And then we supposidly had a corroded water shut off valve, per the inspection report, but since it was behind a cabinet, Bob didn't want to wait for me to move the cabinet, and asked for me to move the furniture in front of it and he would return later. Of course it took me 5 minutes to remove the furniture. When he returned, he looked at the shut off valve and noted that nothing was wrong with it after all. He ended up charging me $120, and all he did was spend 5 minutes changing a simple gas line. When I asked him why so much, he explained that he had to come to my house twice. I said that was his choice, because he didn't want to wait a few minutes to move the furniture. He didn't care. He didn't care how much work i had him do over the years. He actually said don't bother calling him again. I was dumbfounded. Talk about bad business. We were moving into a new house, still in Chula Vista, bigger then then one we were moving from, and he just lost a customer that he probably would have had for life, only because he tried to nickel and dime us. SMH!!! I already had over $1000 worth of plumbing work done at the new house. Sorry Bob! You better start to treat your regular customers with a little more respect next time.
