OMG. Can I tell you about MY AA Atlas experience. The toilet in an upstairs bedroom was leaking water into the ceiling of the downstairs guest bedroom. The dreaded drip, drip, drip onto my carpet. I contacted AA Atlas based on Yelp reviews, and Charles was sent to the rescue. Not only did Charles locate that bad boy in record time, he repaired the leaky pipe with as little disruption as possible. AA Atlas is in the rolodex for life, and to my man Charles...YOU ROCK BROTHA!!!

To start - I usually don't write reviews, but definitely warranted for the experience I just had getting my A/C serviced. The company was able to schedule a tech on short notice and get everything working great. Just bought a new house and one of the units wasn't blowing cold and the fan on the 2nd unit didn't even turn on. Bryan was super efficient in diagnosing the problems (there were several) and went above and beyond to make sure everything was running properly and walked me through what he was doing as he worked.

I'm pretty handy and always keep an eye out for people trying to take advantage. There were several times where Bryan could have pushed me towards a higher repair cost, but he didn't. Everything was above-board, factual, and the issues got sorted out quickly and for an extremely fair price.

I would highly recommend using them for any repairs that you may have. I'm already planning on calling them for some plumbing work. Always refreshing to find a great company that does the right thing. Very impressed! Thanks again Bryan!

Good company to deal with I asked them to come out and check my air conditioning they found it was a simple breaker only charge the fee for the primary inspection

The staff was very courteous and made arrangements to assist me in getting in as soon as I was very impressed with their customer service rep who came to the house was short to the point and very knowledgeable fixing the problem in a timely manner

After calling several plumbing companies and testing the waters to have one come and service the drains at my home, I went to this website to look at reviews. AA Atlas had the most, and the most favorable reviews by far (as you can see), so I had them come over to give me an evaluation and estimate. Moe came over and was neat, knowledgeable and able to clearly explain what needed to be done, how they would do it and what it would cost. Compared to earlier estimates that seemed overpriced, Moe's estimate was, in my opinion, reasonable and fair.
As far as the work itself, Moe and his teammate, Popo, were on time, worked hard and did a neat and thorough job that exceeded my expectations. I don't look for the cheapest work out there, but want the job to be done professionally, in a timely manner, and at a fair price. I got that from AA Atlas, will recommend them to my friends and will turn to them for my future plumbing needs.

I first worked with this company a couple of years ago and had a great experience, but our latest experience was so fantastic, I felt compelled to write a second review. Our VERY OLD hot water heater blew a gasket at about 6:45 am on Christmas Eve when we were preparing to have about 20 family and friends over. I was sure that we would be out of luck on a holiday, but I called AA Atlas at 7 am and they sent Ian to our house within an hour. Even though the entire valve had blown out, he figured out a way to quickly fix it so we could still have water (and even hot water) for our family gathering. At that time, he also ordered us a new hot water heater because he warned us the fix was only temporary and might not last very long. We continued to have hot water through Christmas, but the old hot water heater finally went kaput. Ian showed up again first thing morning, installed the new hot water heater with all new pipes and valves, and even fixed a small problem we were having with our toilet free of charge. I highly recommend this company and especially Ian -- he was prompt, knowledgeable, effective, kind and honest -- everything you hope for when someone is working in your home. In addition, the office staff is great and helpful, and very communicative about schedules and arrival windows -- I didn't have to sit here waiting for a big 4- to 8-hour window -- in both cases this week, they gave me a 1-hour window and showed up exactly when expected. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

So I gave them 5 stars for the work they did on our air conditioners. They worked perfectly for 10 days. Friday before the Earth Fry, our air conditioner just stopped working. We called AA Atlas and told them of our emergency. Because of the weather, they were booked out for two weeks.I told them the company was here for a different matter just 10 days before. They looked it up and verified my story. Byron was at my doorstep 45 minutes later, diagnosed a blown capacitor in the compressor, replaced it on the spot at a reasonable cost. I had air conditioning through the heatwave. This is a special company. (I'd guess family owned by the pride they show in their work} Special shoutout to Byron who saved a family weekend.

Happy to support this local business! Recently had our electric water heater replaced by AA Atlas. All my interactions with the company, whether in person or via phone, were kind, helpful, and courteous! Bryan and Travis were able to work efficiently, which can be a challenge with smaller spaces (we live in a townhome). They also, without hesitation, changed a t cone plug in front and hose bib in our patio, and it was something I had requested at the last minute. Also want to say thanks to Rae and Jessica for being so helpful and responsive with all my questions and following up with me. We are enjoying our new water heater and will go with this company again for future plumbing needs!

We called AA Atlas as we had multiple problems in the house with a drain pipe to the washer bring clogged and a running toilet. We also decided to ask them to install a new sink faucet. They had very open times and the plumber who came was Charles G. They have a van clearly marked with their logo. He was extremely polite and even put on shoe covers!!! I had never seen that. Charles explained what needed to be done and took care of everything in less than two hours. Thank you and we will definitely use your company again.

This company was hired to replace a toilet and claimed they would have to repair the flange in order to do so, which would cost $690 on top of the $411 they were charging to install the toilet. This company makes fraudulent claims to cheat its customers. This company had the gall to charge me $180 when I chose not to repair the flange.
Another company came out and installed the toilet in less than an hour with no troubles or complaints. If you don't want to be overcharged or pay fees to a technician who can't do the work, don't hire this company.

No matter how hard you work, sometimes things don't do always go right. How you handle those situations is a real test of quality and integrity. AA Atlas worked on our broken air conditioner yesterday. After completing a very thorough set of tests measuring the electrical loads for each circuit and function, they concluded that the blown fuse was the actual cause of the problem. Unfortunately, the air conditioner broke down a few hours later. When I called them (after hours) a live, friendly human answered the phone and promised me that I would get a call in the morning to let me know when they would be back to work on the problem. The call came first thing in the morning and they came back that morning. They found another major blown fuse but investigated the problem further. What they found was that the fuse holder was broken which was causing the fuse to overheat because of the combined effect of the heating associated with the normal electrical loads as well as the extra heating build-up caused by the damaged fuse case. Just in case that wasn't the only problem, they also did a thorough check of the condenser system and found that it was in good condition. Additionally, they remained on site for a fairly long time just to make sure that the system continued to function correctly. Other than the minor cost of the new fuse box, there was no additional charge. This is yet another example of their sense of honesty as well as their quality and genuine dedication to substantive customer service. This is the reason why we have used AA Atlas repeatedly over the years for all of our plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs.

I called these guys for an estimate to have my main shut-off valve replaced since it was inoperable. They said they would send their servicemen to evaluate and give me a quote for free. Once I received the quote, I realized that it was a much better deal than other quotes I had received for the same job.

They were available to start working immediately and completed the job in a timely fashion. Both guys were extremely nice and friendly but more importantly very experienced. I would definitely hire them in the future with any plumbing issues.

We called AA Atlas come out and give us an estimate on replacing our horizontal duct board plenum. Brian S. arrived on time, very professional checked out the problem and gave us a quote. It was over $1500.00 less than another quote we got.
Brian came over today and worked in our attic for 6 hours and completed the job. We can't thank him enough. He is very professional and worked in a neat and clean manner. We will use them again and recommend them highly.

We've been using AA Atlas since we moved to Chino Hills last year and have been more and more impressed with their service every time. We're on septic so we weren't sure how much a plumber could help us, but they've done greater quality and quantity work for us than the septic company we initially used. AA Atlas has turbo-jetted our pipes (completely clearing our backup issues), installed fixtures, fixed leaks, and recently replaced our AC system. Every time they work at our house, they are clean, polite, professional, and a pleasure to be around. They wear covers on their shoes to avoid tracking dirt and dispose of everything once they're done, leaving you with absolutely nothing to worry about. They are also available in a pinch if there's an emergency.

When our AC started leaking this summer, we knew who to call. They assessed the damage and gave us a quote to repair the most prominent issue and two others to replace the whole system. We appreciated knowing that we had the cheaper option of just replacing the part, but knew that would be a bandaid on a larger issue. We never felt pressured to go with the replacement but understood that it was the smarter, long-term option. It helped knowing that we could trust AA Atlas when they outlined our options, leaving us feeling confident in our decision. Brian and Ryan replaced the system in a day and it's been working perfectly ever since. It's quieter and clearly more efficient. Our electric bill came and showed a huge savings that I can only attribute to the new AC system. To have a savings like that during the hot summer months was a welcomed surprise.

I lived in fear of calling drain cleaning companies , The kitchen drain was totally blocked , I have heard nothing but horror stories about these companies , never cleaning the drain for the stated price, there is always something that makes the cost higher. I don't care how they smell, they stink when they take advantage of people in this situation
These people were great, it was certainly more work than normal , but they cleared it!! They showed when they said they would . Mike was very cool
no bull , just knew exactly what he was doing. Great price. I now have a plumber I can count on....

I'm writing this review to warn people that are under duress with emergent plumbing issues to AVOID this contractor. I highly question the positive reviews and believe many were created by friends of the Sousa family. I highly recommend reading through the negative reviews.

I utilized Atlas for two previous projects that were completed with satisfaction, although they are more expensive than other local companies. They justify their higher pricing because they guaranteed their work and are insured, and that it was just the cost of doing business.

However, my problems occurred on my 3rd project. They identified a leak in my yard and told me the project would range from $600-900. I decided to proceed and also install a few toilets for $200 each. At the end of the day, they decided to bill me around $1,500 for the leak/piping stating that they decided to replace all the piping in the area (less than 20 feet). I was upset in that they significantly went beyond their range and that Mike didn't even communicate and proceeded without my permission. The 2-man team finished both toilet installations and yard piping in less than 4 hours, which equates to nearly $250 an hour. I could have been a difficult customer, but most customers have integrity and I decided that it was the price to pay to get this project completed especially since I was dealing with a newborn.

However, the biggest problem came 6 months later when we found a leak that was caused by Mike the contractor. During a rushed 15-minute $80 leak detection he accidentally rolled the refrigerator onto the water line. We were not able to detect the leak for months since the water slowly flowed into 2 bathrooms, closet, and then to the kitchen when walls could no longer retain any more water. Additionally, it created significant mold build up and drywall damage. Mike had the audacity to claim that I helped him move the refrigerator during the detection but that was a lie as I was at work and my wife pregnant at the time so he moved it by himself.

During this COVID time, this created additional stress and is not a good environment for a newborn. Now we need to allow external risks to enter our home to remove the mold and patch up the walls.

What is upsetting is that Atlas sent Mike to review the damage and he instantly denied any possibility that may have cause the damage and even mentioned at the beginning of the conversation that we would lose in court and good luck with proving it in court (even though we weren't even at that point in the conversation)! He even said that the plastic water line commonly leaks even though the fact of the matter was that the leak was where the refrigerator was on top the water line. Sadly, the owners Cris and Randy Sousa told us to go to our own insurance to file the claim even though their employee caused this damage and to not contact them in this matter going forward.

What I realize about Atlas is that they incentivize their contractors to rush through projects to try to get as many billable hours so that their Sousa family can obtain high profit margins. They justify their high prices saying that they provide peace of mind, but when you actually make a claim the company and family does not have the integrity to actually follow through with their work guarantee or own up to their mistakes.

I would recommend customers to look elsewhere and to avoid this unethical and greedy company, and to skip the middlemen which in the case of Atlas is the Sousa family. I normally like supporting small family owned businesses, but I would recommend to go with an individual handyman who also might not offer false guarantees but would have insurance and the ability to do the same quality of work at half the price.

I understand that it is difficult to 100% prove what caused the leak, but I was hoping that I was dealing with an ethical company to meet us half-way or any way at all. Now, I just I hope no other customer has the same experience with Atlas. And hopefully, karma comes to this company and they get a taste of their own medicine with unethical customers who refuse to pay after they compete a job and tell them the their same line of good luck with proving it in court.

After receiving four quotes to remove and replace our asbestos HVAC ducting, we selcted AA Atlas for the job. Except for one, the quotes were pretty close, so our selection of AA Atlas was based on more than the fact that they were the lowest by a little bit.

From the outset we were impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. Further, the two young men (Bryan and Ian) who provided the estimate were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and courteous.

Once we notified AA Atlas that we had selected them to do the work they were extremely responsive and suffice it to say that within a matter of days our job was complete (again, Bryan and Ian) and at a cost considerably less than we had originally anticipated. Further, they did a beautiful job. (My wife said that only a guy would call ducting beautiful...)

In summary, I could not be more pleased or recommend AA Atlas more highly. They will be my only call in the future.

Christina's comments are obviously to try to save face. Yes, every company has a cost of doing business. That being said, AA Atlas was well over THREE TIMES the cost compared to MULTIPLE bids from both small and large organizations. Additionally, you did me no service by coming out to see what the job entailed to provide an accurate quote. It was I who followed up specifically with you Christina after a weeks time to ask if you could kindly provide my quote. The company service is below par, they lack organization for proper follow-up, and they try to mask price gouging by calling it a cost of doing business.

We had some work done by Atlas and it was of good quality, yet the price was very high. We asked for estimates for additional work to be done, but the cost was 3-4 times the cost of competitors. I asked Atlas to provide a simple breakdown of the costs, but they refused, saying the computer spits out a price for the job. I didn't suspect anything shady, but a business should be able to explain how it arrived at an estimate to its customers, especially when the cost is exorbitantly high. Moreover, Atlas claims this is just the way it's done these days, yet every other contractor I've worked with is able to provide a simple labor/parts breakdown. If these shortcomings could be remedied, Atlas probably deserves 5 stars, because the plumber who came out was knowledgeable, offered good advice, and performed excellent work.

We had the very best experience with this company. Bryan came by and was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We ended up redoing our AC system and adding a whole house fan. Bryan and Ian went above and beyond to make it a great experience! They thought of little details we wouldn't have ever noticed on our own (like the placement of the ac vent away from the front door so guests wouldn't see the filter when they walked in). They were cool guys and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home for a few days. We will never go anywhere else, and will recommend AA Atlas to everyone we know. They were that good!

This review is long overdue, but I guess this just gave me more time to test out Randy's and his team's work! I would first like to preface this review by saying the Randy was able to find a leak detection that 2 other people were not able to figure out. I should have just come here to begin with!

He and his team were very professional, honest, friendly, and tried everything they could to help keep costs to a minimum. They gave me options, which I appreciated, instead of making me feel like I had no choice. This always helps, especially when it comes to things you don't know anything about. He was very thorough in explaining things in a way so that I could understand what was going on.

I was so pleased with him that I called him for my in laws home, but it was unfortunately out of his service area. But Randy was so nice to offer to help us if we had any questions throughout the process. How nice is that?!?

I highly recommend Randy and his team and I now know where to go if I ever have any other plumbing needs.

AAAtlas is an awesome company to work with. Our old air conditioner went out during one of the recent heat waves. Randy came out and did a thorough inspection and explained everything along the way. He provided a very detailed quote to not only repair or replace the unit, but additional items that we might want to consider doing. The pricing was very competitive so we went ahead with replacing the whole unit. Due to timing, Randy couldn't get back out to replace the unit for about a week. We were having family over the weekend before and Randy came by on a Friday afternoon to help our old unit limp along until our appointment. Now that's customer service!

So its Saturday midday and a pipe by an upstairs toilet bursts. At least I knew how to shut off the main line. We call the home warranty company, and after 3 hours they can't get anybody to come fix it. So they tell us that we can call any fully licensed and insured company and they will reimburse us. So on Saturday afternoon I call all around getting no answer, but a couple that will likely call back later. But when I called AA Atlas, they offered to send Mike out who would give a free estimate! He is out within an hour. Super nice guy!! Professional and knowledgeable. He fixes everything cheerfully and within the home warranty budget. (BTW, another vendor called back and said it would be a $150 trip charge plus gave an estimate over $100 more that Mike charged.) I have dealt with so many repair folks in the last year, and I could wish that any of them met the standard set by Mike! Thanks so much!!

I just moved to the area and needed my main bath shower fixtures: shower head, valve, drain and diverter replaced ASAP.
I hired Atlas Plumbing to fix the water line to my refrigerator and requested a quote for the bathroom work. This company initially quoted me double the price for connecting the water line. When I told them I wasn't interested.... he dropped the price in half. He did a great job installing the water line. However, he never reached out to me with the estimate for the bathroom work. When I finally called, again Atlas hit me with a ridiculously overpriced quote. Needless to say I didn't hire them for the job.

I found Purdy Plumbing on Yelp and they sent a plumber, Chris, to give me an estimate for the work. Chris was on time, professional, clean and very direct. He gave me a fair priced quote and did an AMAZING job. He also added an access panel for future access if needed. Chris was friendly, did a professional job and cleaned up afterwards.

I have been dealing with lots of plumbers, electricians, painters and other contracted service companies during the sell of my old place and the purchase of the new home. Chris was top notch! If I ever need additional work.... I'll definitely be requesting his services again. Very satisfied customer.

Randy came out a couple of weeks ago to fix my air conditioner. He was fantastic. Randy arrived on time for the appointment, he assessed the situation quickly, found the problem, and fixed it. Randy went above and beyond to make some adjustments to make sure the problem will not occur again. Randy was very professional, wore a mask the entire time, and followed all safety procedures. Mike and his co worker were great they were able to put a natural gas line in to my kitchen from
My water heater. I was able to trust him with a key to my home as I was not living there he cleaned up really well after himself. He saved the drywall and put it back in place with tape so I didn't have holes until my drywall could be fixed. He was knowledgeable and fixed the repair in a short amount of time. The cost was more than I expected but worth it.

We needed a water line for our new fridge and called AA for and estimate. Randy came out and quoted us a reasonable price for having it installed. We scheduled our installation day and he came out with his assistant and did the install. He was very professional and courteous. They finished the install and cleaned up after themselves, when they were finished you wouldn't have even known they were there. Thank you so much for helping us get prepped for our new fridge... We've had AA Atlas out a couple of time for plumbing service. Recently they did a repair on an outdoor sprinkler line near the main inlet to the house. Although the repair was done properly and service was timely we had an issue with the pricing. Chris called and talked to my wife about the issue and was more then fair about the situation, she even gave us a larger refund then we expected. It's obvious Atlas is all about putting their customers first and making sure that customer service is still alive out there.

A lot of homeowners in my neighborhood use AA Atlas. I have seen their van here several times over the years. You're in good hands when you go with this company. This was my second time calling them for a major job ( first time involved a new water heater installation). Bryan was able to save me the expense of a new AC by repairing my current one. They are very professional, experienced, and have a great work ethic (work long hours, no hard sell, try to save the customer money, extremely courteous). Glad I have a trustworthy company when situations like this arise.

I just had my air conditioner serviced by Randy the owner. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and efficient!

The experience from beginning to end was great. From scheduling with Chris and Crystal and getting a service appointment in a timely manner to having the technician show up on time, to getting a complete service. I always trust this company. Randy addressed all the problems I was having with my air conditioner and educated me on everything he did.

I would always feel very confident recommending AA Atlas to anyone who needs trustworthy and five star, quality work!

Had a drain plugged up. I knew it is never fun to have to call a plumber, expect them to be there when you need them, and give you a great price. AA called to notify us when the plumber would be there (early I may add.)

He gave us options, a fair no BS price and was happy to be there. We have had other plumbers who act as if they are doing us a favor by being there.

He snaked the clog until he found the problem at around 30 feet. He was profession, clean, and had good equipment.

Definitely will call AA again if need be!

Just had my entire heating and air conditioning system redone. Not only were they professional and courteous, but they explained in non-plumber lingo exactly what they were planning to do and gave me all the options and were very fair with the pricing on the project. They accommodated my busy schedule and arrived as promised and completed the work efficiently and neatly.

I have used AA Atlas Plumbing also in the past and have always had a pleasant experience with them. I am confident that if you choose to use them as your plumber you will be 100% satisfied with their work, their pricing, and their professionalism.

Called AAAPH&AC this time to have my water heater and system replaced. Mo and Charles came out and went right to work. It's obvious these two knew their stuff. Mo had explained to me what would be done on the plumbing side, upgrading valves and whatnot. My hot water circulation system works way better than it did before. This is the second time we have used AA Atlas, once for our air conditioning and once for a plumbing leak. They were nothing but great both times! Got the job done without having any reoccurring problems, as well as thoroughly explain what's going on. Will absolutely use them in the future.

What a nice young man Brian is from AA Atlas Heating and air conditioning. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He was also very thorough and informative. We had to have our thermostat replaced after not working properly for many months. He also went up in the attic and checked out our system and informed us of things we could do to get more even heating throughout the house, after we stated our concerns of cold spots in our house. (We have lived in our house since 1976). We even had some registers installed upside down, which he promptly got his ladder and fixed the problem. He came back the next day on time as scheduled and fixed some ducting problems we had. We are now sitting in comfort of our home. Thank you Brian. I would definitely call AA Atlas Heating and Air Conditioning for all my heating and air conditioning needs.

AA Atlas has done all of our work over the years: new AC unit, slab leak repair, service of heating/AC, new water heater, install fixtures, replace hose bibs, numerous drain clears etc. No matter a big or small job, always professional, friendly, great work. Had a great experience with Bryan from AA Atlas last week. Our AC unit had multiple issues, he came by and was very professional and walked us through what he was recommending and some different options available. Previously we had been told to replace the whole AC unit, he replaced our freon, fixed a leak, among multiple other items, and in the course of an afternoon it was like our AC got a new lease on life. Would highly recommend!

We had an issue with the air flow from our AC unit about 2 weeks ago. I was able to schedule something quickly and Bryan came out to work on and resolve the issue. Then suddenly we developed a condensation leak - I called again, and even though there was a several week wait, since we were a repeat customer, they were able to work us in within 3 days. Bryan came out again, explained the problem, showed me pictures, and made the repair quickly. I had to leave to pick up my son at school and felt completely comfortable leaving Bryan in my home working while I was gone. They were professional, courteous - even called to give me a 20 minute warning during my two hour window - highly recommend!

Hired them to correct noises coming from a 6 year old tankless water heater. First service call included overall cleaning/ interior dusting of unit. Noise not solved. Second service call included checking gas pressure which required call to Rinnai customer support on site. That wasn't the issue...still noise. They went back to have further discussion with Rinnai. Came out to replace vent (3rd service call) had to come back because of incorrect size part. Fourth service call replaced the vent. Still making noise.

At that point they had only two other solutions, repair/clean burner unit ($1,300) or install new unit ($4,000+) since it was out of warranty. I finally chose new unit since I'd already spent close to $600 in repairs and $1,300 would not guarantee a fix. All this over a 5 month period while I had to keep following up, because they never called to let me know when parts, etc we're coming in. Very poor follow up. I finally called several weeks later to see about new unit and they told me it was back ordered 10-12 weeks!

I finally told them I'd think about it...since I'd been waiting so long.

Finally call another firm and they were out in two days and cleaned the burner in two hours for $380....PROBLEM SOLVED!

AA Atlas took 4 service calls and couldn't correct the problem and were going to charge $1,300 to fix the burner which the other company fixed in one service call for $380. AA Atlas may be good for normal plumbing issues, but they are not good for tankless water heaters. Shop further.

I went looking for an AC guy when my long time guy flaked on me on Friday. Leaving my tenants high and hot on Saturday. Found Atlas on Yelp. Atlas had the best and most consistent reviews. Called Atlas on Saturday morning and spoke to Chris (the boss). She sent Randy (her husband) to my rental Saturday afternoon. Randy got the A.C. working and came back Monday to complete the service. Randy is my new guy! I highly recommend Atlas and Randy and Chris!

Called on a late Tuesday night to schedule an appointment as soon as possible because my thermostat suddenly broke and I just could NOT go on. I spoke to Crystal at about 9:30 at night and she was the NICEST person! I was expecting a crochety person on the other end being pissed for me calling so late, but she answered with a very warm greeting and such a nice voice. She helped me get scheduled with an appointment the very next day. In fact, the next day Randy came out even sooner than he was supposed to since they were ahead of schedule. Randy was such a nice guy and fixed and serviced my AC unit super fast! He was great! This family owned business is very professional and I highly recommend them!!

My mothers heater went out when it was cold. They came immediately, and got the problem fixed right away. All it needed was a new filter and igniter. We also had them come back to replace and redesign the duct work in the attic. Brian and Ryan did an amazing job. Brian is so friendly, and we felt comfortable with him right away. We had a slab Leak in our kitchen floor. When I called AA Atlas-Mike R. arrived-he knew exactly how to approach the problem. By rerouting the Hot water pipe above the attic. These guys were AMAZING!! My AC unit has been dripping, but was still cooling my condo. They were my 4th consultation, and the only ones who told me that it might be dripping due to clogged pipes. Every single other person I spoke with about the issue #1 didn't know what kind of unit I have and #2 told me that I need to fully replace it. The estimates were between $8,500 and $13,000. Just crazy! I then had these awesome guys come over, I worked with Bryan and another awesome gentleman. They immediately discerned the issue and fixed it in 15mins! It was so great!! And from that point, my AC unit has stopped dripping! They were so kind and good at their jobs that they have 100% gotten a new lifelong customer. I cannot recommend them enough! If you have any issues with AC units, I would implore you to go to them, from my experience, everyone else I've spoken to has tried to overcharge me. These guys saved me so much stress and made my whole year!! Thank you guys for being so great!!

Bryan and Ian came to our house tonight it was close to 100°, we called this morning so it wasn't like we called days ago because the AC went out yesterday at 5:30, they got here early the next day. They had anticipated getting to the house at 4:00 - 4:30 they showed up at 3:00, they called to make sure that would be OK. Which was awesome! In todays world, when does that ever happen, someone early? They installed a brand new air conditioner for us in 3 and a half hours! The most polite, conscientious, professional two young men and this company,. This company has been to our house several times for other minor repairs keeping the old 25 year air conditioner running but today was the end of it's life, rest in peace! They have always been very respectful and conscientious of the home, wearing booties and now with this virus, wore mask, not that we cared about that! But they do and they are awesome.I can't say enough about this company, it's family-owned, support this awesome company! We love them and NO WE ARE NOT RELATED TO ANYONE, to the SUSPICIOUS MINDS!

We contacted Atlas for an estimate on quite a few projects we wanted done before we moved in to our first home. Randy came out the day after Thanksgiving and spent several hours thoroughly inspecting our house and explaining to us how he would perform the work asked. While he took a little longer to get back to us with an estimate, once we decided to use him, he was at our house on schedule and performed great work. He performed jobs both big (running a gas line to the garage) and small (installing a kitchen faucet we purchased).

What a great company! This was my first time using AA Atlas. I am very happy with the service I received today. Brain the technician took a few seconds before getting started to introduce himself & tell me about the company & how many years it has been in business. He was very respectful, knowledgeable and worked quickly. Brian had the parts on his truck to fix the AC and had it running within an hour. I defiantly will be calling AA Atlas in the future for any of our plumbing, heat or AC needs and would highly recommend them. On a side note the office staff that I spoke to when scheduling my appointment was very pleasant and helpful with excellent customer service!

Quality work, however, prices are on the higher end and can be misleading.

AA Atlas will not provide estimates that itemize parts and labor. AA Atlas will only provide a flat rate for the entire repair cost. They will not break down the cost of parts, labor and/or how many hours the job will take. If you have time to research and complete your due diligence, AA Atlas might be a good choice. If you're in a bind, then you may be left with a costly repair but they will get the job done.

In my case they had to replace the Pressure Reducing Valve on my home. The job only took two hours but they charged me $450 which was high considering I found out later that the valve itself is available at $100. That means I paid $175 an hour for plumbing services...that's a big premium.

AA Atlas also apparently carries only one brand of valves (Wilkins), or at least that's what they told me. It would have been cheaper to just replace the valve with the same brand but instead they had to cut and weld the piping to add new unions for the different brand of valve. Had they carried both of the major manufacturers of valves this could have been avoided.

My husband and I had been looking for a plumber to call to help fix a backed up shower that we had. After looking into a few places we decided to go through with AA Atlas because they help support breast cancer research (something dear to our hearts). I would give them no stars if I could. After a early morning of cleaning up flood waters from the toilet in my bathroom, I called for help and scheduled an appointment for 3-5pm. I received a call at 3pm and was informed we don't operate our equipment in the rain, and will have to reschedule. Unbelievable.

I love writing reviews for companies that offer their clients a fair shake. I don't know about you, but whenever I ask someone to come to my house to give me an estimate on something I always get this sick feeling in my stomach as soon they open their mouth. That's definitely not the case with Eddie. He came over to the house, he was very easy to talk to, and he was very professional. You could tell that he knew what he was talking about and that he wasn't just throwing numbers around to take all your hard earned money because he could. It seemed to me that he loves his job and really cared about helping people. Imagine that.....Money doesn't make the world go round and there are still some decent people left in the world. Finally! I found a plumber that I feel completely comfortable with. I had a leak I couldn't even tell where it was coming from. Knowing that this could be serious, I yelped to find someone. I called Atlas and they told me a trip out and estimate was $80 which sounds fair to me. They also applied the original estimate/trip cost to my repair. Turns out I had a leak inside my wall. For the size of the job, I was impressed with the speed in which it got done. They consulted with me on what I needed done and what could wait if I didn't have it in my budget. Both my tech (sorry, I forgot his name) and Randy, the owner knew their stuff! I really appreciate professionals when it comes to work like this and I was completely comfortable with this entire process. I was charged a fair price for great work which to me is where the value is. I'm so happy I found my plumber...I just hope I don't need them again soon.

Last weekend I attempted to replace 2 leaky outdoor hose valves at my house. In the process I discovered I also had a leaky main valve.

I started with one of the hose valves. Thinking it was threaded I tore it completely off (turns our I am very strong...) Efforts to sweat on an adapter with a blow torch were futile...

By this time it was about 4 in the afternoon and all I had to show for it was a larger leak than I started with and no way to turn the water back on in my house.

My wife called AA Atlas and Charles came by within an hour to save me from utter humiliation. In no time he performed some serious emergency surgery on the entire system. The quality of the work is pretty impressive (especially after I tried it myself...)

It was not a cheap job (had to pay extra to come out on a Saturday) but he was there within an hour and again, the work is top top quality. You get what you pay for.

This is about the 8th time we've used AA Atlas and recommend them for heating and a/c needs.

By the way, the water heater that died they installed in 2004! So, they continue to be our go to heating and a/c contractor!

I made an appointment last week for a plumber to come out and look at the job in person between 10 and 12 today. I just got a call from Chris letting me know that they are busy and moving the appointment to Friday and I would need to ok a price before they come out and look at the job. When I asked her why the gal I talked to made the appointment without telling me all of this in the first place she stated she was on vacation and the other lady did not know what was needed to be done. So basically I rearranged today for them to call me this morning and tell me they should have never made the appointment in the first place because they are small family owned company and if they are going to come out to look at the job and give a quote they want a guarantee that you are going to sign on with them. They seem like nice enough people but that is just not how you do business.

We needed our entire AC system replaced and some old asbestos ducting removed. I spoke with a couple other companies before deciding on AAAtlas to perform the work. Their price was competitive and we decided to choose them to do the work based significantly on the clear and detailed way that Bryan quoted and lay out the project. I didn't feel like I was talking to a used car salesman who glossed over details, or being pressured as some other companies were doing. He gave clear options and definitions of how and why each part of the job would be done. In the end for a project of this size and cost, it was a great choice to pick AAAtlas.

After one day of asbestos removal by a different subcontractor that they sent, Bryan and Ian spent three days installing, redesigning and improving every aspect of our system. They redesigned the ducting to be more logically laid out in the attic. They routed power, repaired a rusted roof vent issue and put a new, larger and more efficient unit onto our roof. The entire time they were communicative and friendly, keeping me informed at each step about what they were doing and it's impact on the eventual system. The final outcome is that our AC is running and cooling the house better than it has in all the years we've lived here. I couldn't be more satisfied and happy with their work. Kudos to Bryan and Ian! You guys did a great job!

I had a special toilet flushing mechanism that needed repair and they sent out a very nice, polite gentleman named Mike, who I later learned is somewhat an expert at this system. He explained and fixed everything he could at the first visit, and because we needed a special part, he made to calls to order it straight to our door. When he came to finish the job Mike brought a colleague, and it seemed like he was teaching him about this special system. As someone who does some teaching in my profession, I really liked seeing that. They were clean, quick and nice. A little bit expensive, but the service call is cheaper than the other guys, and with their professionalism, worth the money.

When we received our AC bill of almost 250 dollars, I knew we needed an AC check-up. My husband, who I bugged for months and who was in denial that anything was wrong, finally made the call. Turns out we had a freon leak. So, we had the team at AA come out and install a new furnace and compressor. We also had our ductwork done and asbestos removed. Brian and Ian were amazing. I've never seen a team work so hard. We now are enjoying our new air and what a difference it has made. Looking forward to our next bill and to see the amount drop. We noticed a leak coming from an upstairs bathroom to the downstairs bedroom. In a panic on a Sunday, I feared the worst. After calling multiple places, it seems a Sunday is a really bad day to have an issue. Most places quoted a $200 minimum charge just to come out to the house to look at the leak. I called AA Atlas and the lady that answered the phone was courteous, polite and understanding of my situation. Unfortunately, they too charge an overtime fee however, she also offered to come out on Monday morning to avoid the extra charge. She advised that I could turn off the main water if I was concerned about further water damage overnight. So, I did and scheduled the appointment for the next day.

Damien, our plumber, arrived at my house as scheduled. He was on time, professional and really easy to talk to. He assessed the situation quickly and was able to quote a reasonable price for the repair. He was very detailed in explaining why there was a leak, what needed to be repaired and explained everything he was going to do to fix the problem. Since I have a home warranty, I immediately called to see if it was covered. My warranty company wanted to speak with Damien and he was nice enough to take the call (even though he really didn't have to). He made the repair and cleaned up really well afterwards. He was also able to refer me to a company that would help remove the water damage the leak had caused.

Although an unexpected leak is a bad situation, AA Atlas helped make it easier to deal with. Definitely a good experience.

Based on other reviews on the internet, I decided to give them a try when my dog chewed through the wires on my air conditioning unit. I called them on a Sunday and they answered the phone. They gave me helpful tips (like disconnecting the furnace, shutting off electricity, and other things so that my system wouldn't short out).

When the service person showed up on our appt day, they were right on time, courteous, helpful, and very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again should I need them.

1st time having this company do work for us. A++++++. Someone Answered the phone for appointments after they were closed and she told me she would call me first thing in the morning to schedule. She did! Got the same day appointment with a 2 hour window and the company called me and said he was on his way. He did come in the time slot promised :) Our technician was MOE. He was awesome, knowledgeable, straight to the point, friendly, cleaned up after himself. He replaced my pilot assembly for the water heater and gave me a bunch of pointers and education on water heaters that I had no clue about. Eddie came out the first time to service my condenser unit and add freon. He was friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly at a reasonable price.

When he was done, he checked out a couple of other worries I had about funny noises in the unit and poor air flow. He checked things out in my attic and drew up a reducting plan to fix my problems. Soon after, the owner of the company came out to supervise the install of my ducting. They did a great job and left things clean. Now everything works great!

This is a great local company with a friendly and smart staff and I highly recommend them.

Our A/C died on Labor day (the hottest recent day), so I once again called this outstanding company. Their office staff was super helpful. Bryan was out first thing the next morning with a smile and managed to get it running again (limping really). He (again) recommended I look into replacing my original 1972 unit. He showed me all of the things going wrong so I could understand. He gave me a quote on the job and it was right on par with several other companies, so I didn't hesitate. Bryan did a fantastic job replacing our entire system. He was quick, clean and happily answered all of my questions. Our new A/C is awesome.

Not only was the quality of their work an A+, but this company has fantastic customer service and I was able to get an appointment quickly on short notice. Randy was the most professional and organized plumber I have ever met. He took great care in coming into my home and keeping his work area so clean. He performed repairs on two toilets and a shower and, afterward, you could not even tell he had been there. He explained everything to me clearly and I knew I was getting a fair deal. Make sure you check pricing for parts before using this company. They wanted to charge me $280 for a toilet flange which you can pick up from any hardware store for between $10-$50. Also, an air gap for my kitchen sink wanted to charge $121 for a part that is $10-$20. If you think this includes installation for the part, it isn't. It's the cost of the part, is what I was told.

Over the last several months, I've been having with an intermittently leaky shower valve in my bathroom. Called AA Atlas over the weekend, left a VM that was promptly returned the following business day. Requested Damian as he had previously installed my kitchen sink a few years ago - thrilled to hear that he was available. Damian and his assistant came out to assess the issue and was really patient in trying to explain the problem to me - he fixed the problem within the week once the necessary part came in. Super happy with the work performed, looks very clean and no further leaking :)

Bryan saved our Thanksgiving! With the crazy heat wave this time of year our air conditioner went out and we were expecting a large crowd for Thanksgiving. Nervous that no one would be able to get it fixed so quickly we called AA Atlas and Bryan was here the next day. They located a hard to find part and went out of their way to get it in one day so our air was fixed in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Bryan was very knowledgeable and so accommodating. We would definitely recommend AA Atlas for any air conditioning issues!

We had a leak in our downstairs bathroom that ended up seeping under our hardwood floors and into our laundry room and garage. Bryan came out to assess what was going on and promptly and skillfully fixed our issues. He also was great at explaining to us what was happening, showing us the problems, and explaining what he needed to do to fix them. Huge shout out to Bryan for being so communicative and also quickly fixing our problems. We highly recommend AA Atlas for your plumbing needs and would recommend Bryan to anyone.

I was smelling sewer gas in my downstairs bathroom. Sometimes, it was over whelming.

This morning, around 9:30 I called Crystal at AA Atlas and told her my problem. She said she could have Robert out between 12 and 2.

Robert arrived, diagnosed the problem, quoted me the price, prepared to work and fixed it. All in a matter of 45 minutes.

I can't recommend a better company for your plumbing, heating and air conditioning. They have helped me with all three of these items in my aging home. I will NEVER go anywhere else.

They are a local, family owned business and I will support them forever.

Bryan S was extremely nice, caring, and able to understand the situation that we had with our AC. He described everything in terms that we understood that were very helpful to us. I used Atlas for a complete home remodel.They replaced my main, and re-piped my entire home. They also installed all of my heating and ventilation. I had a 2 hours service time, and they were running a little behind and called to let me know and called me again when the technician was on his way. Damian just came out and I had my main line checked with a camera. I watched the screen as he ran the camera down the entire main line. He really found no major issues and was honest telling me that I have a long time before I need to do anything with it. My main line is about 62 years old and so it was a relief that it is still in good shape.

Damian was quick and always great to have working at my home. I trust what he says and recommends. I would feel completely OK with him or anyone from Atlas working at my home. Now Atlas is not the cheapest company, but you know they will do it right the first time and if something comes up they will stand behind their work and fix it. Christina in the office is super nice and always on top of things. If she doesn't know anything she will find out and let you know. I have had Damian, Eddie, and Robert all at my house working when I was doing my remodel, and they are all great. Overall this company is great, I do wish they would offer repeat customers some type of discount when using them over and over. If you need anything plumbing or heating and air call them!

I called AA Atlas when, after 12 years, our GE water heater failed. It had a 12 year guarantee which I figured would be worthless, so I expected to pay full price for a new unit. Chris suggested that I phone GE Customer Service. It is a good thing I did. GE accepted a warranty claim and Home Depot gave me a store credit of several hundred dollars to apply to a replacement water heater.

But not wanting wanting to do the job myself, I needed a plumber to remove the old water heater and go with me to Home Depot to make the exchange. So I phoned Chris back at AA Atlas. She dispatched a plumber named Mike and then took the extra step of phoning Home Depot to insure that things would go smoothly when we arrived. Now that's Customer Service.

Three hours after my initial phone call, Mike a very professional and polite plumber arrived exactly on time and quickly got to work. And he went with me to Home Depot to make the exchange. He did excellent work for us. I am pleased to highly recommend Mike and AA Atlas Plumbing and Heating.

We've always relied on AA Atlas Plumbing when our HVAC system needed help! Recently had a small leak on our patio in our townhome. AA Atlas arrived quickly and determined that there was a catastrophic leak at our neighbors. The heating and cooling system at the apartment I am newly renting at is so old that it has bounced from working to not working several times. AA atlas' Bryan is great at his job though and quickly figured out what the problem was and fixed it. He was very efficient and very good-natured as well. I had AA Atlas out to add a couple of HVAC vents, instal a new dishwasher and re-do all of my kitchen sink plumbing during a remodel. Bryan and Robert were great. They worked really quickly and cleanly. Robert took extra care to get me the correct sink equipment when the materials that came with the new sink didn't match. He got all the parts in that same day from there shop and my kitchen was workable that same day.

Years ago, I had a new AC system installed by AA Atlas Plumbing and Air Conditioning. What a Gift!!! The employees are absolutely amazing, from the field the the front office. Bryan was out to service my AC last week and, as always, he did a great job. He is personable and easy to talk to...in fact, he remembered things from the previous service...including my dog who has since passed. AA Atlas is a family owned business since 1989. We had Bryan and Ian come out to install our A/C and furnace units. They showed up on time, showed us everything they were doing and cleaned up after the job was completed. We had other companies come out but when some quotes come back over 300% percent high and repeatedly tell you why they are so great, you have to ask yourself why?

AA Atlas are honest, straightforward and dependable and have financing if you need it. I highly recommend their company.

I had a problem with my furnace blower, and I couldn't be happier by the work that was performed by Eddie Rodriguez. He came prepared and was very knowledgeable. He was very professional, and the biggest surprise was that he arrived at the location, diagnosed and found the problem in 10 minutes, and resolved my issue under 30 minutes. I couldn't have been any happier, and I can proudly say that AA Atlas is great company, and I will be definitely calling them for any future problems.

I absolutely LOVE AA Atlas and am always happy with the service I have received. They have taken care of everything from regular AC/heating and maintenance to a complete bathroom remodel for me and I have always been pleased and satisfied with both the work and the customer service. We use them both at our home and our place of business. I particularly recommend requesting Eddie for AC and Damian for plumbing work, both of them have always done an excellent job for me, but I am sure that most any of the employees that work for Chris and Randy will do a great job at a fair price. I have in the past dealt with what felt like swindlers in the industry, but with AA Atlas I feel like I am always dealing with people of character and integrity and I would therefore wholeheartedly recommend them for service.

Have used AA Atlas for the last several years - always with great results. Randy, Chris and their team are conscientious, professional, personable and provide excellent customer service.

AA Atlas is owned and operated by people from our community. They show up on time, put booties over their shoes before they come in the home, give detailed explanations about their findings, don't pressure with the 'hard sell' and stand by their work in a way that is unheard of anymore.

We had a follow up concern over a holiday weekend and Randy and Chris responded promptly. We are 110% comfortable recommending these good people.

After buying a new home I needed a few plumbing items done around the house, moving a gas line to the attic, installing a water supply line to my fridge and shortening the overflow condenser line. Charles came out to do a free inspection and quote. He is a great guy to talk with and was able to assure me this was not going to be a complicated matter. He also gave me the lowest quote of 4 local plumbers. When he came out, work went well and everything was done to a satisfactory degree. The plumbing has no leaks and looked pretty clean, except for the reroute of the overflow condenser line from the HVAC. That was a bit sloppy, but it worked. AA Atlas then called me to ask for a post work inspection of Charles' work. I was impressed that they would come out to review the work and ensure it was done to their standards. The supervisor was really great and explained that the service trucks typically don't have all the parts in the world, but that he would have a tech come out and really finish up the HVAC line at no cost. I was astonished! Really? Yes, really. So tomorrow I have another appointment to get that cleaned up and tidy. I am impressed. Great work AA Atlas Plumbing. You turned a 4 star review into a 5.

After 21 years, it was time for new air conditioners. We have used AA Atlas in the past and have always been happy with their service. They are a small family owned company that truly stands behind their work.
Bryan came and removed our old units, installing these beautiful Maytag units. They not only look good, with their stainless steel exterior, but are very quiet, powerful and efficient. Bryan did a fabulous job. We couldnt be happier. He was very knowledgeable, hard working and thorough. He also installed the NEST thermostat, which allows us to control our thermostat manually or through an App. Bryan did a great job explaining how to use this. We are so pleased and would recommend AA Atlas to anyone.

If I could provide 10 stars I would. I have known Randy and AA Atlas for a long time as they used to do a lot of work for my mother over the years. Naturally when we bought our first home just over 4 years ago they were our first call. I reached out and requested Randy to take a look at a drainage issue with our washer and to get an overall assessment of our plumbing to see if their was a need to repipe. Most companies would jump on the chance for a repipe job, but Randy informed me that we were in good shape and just may require a few maintenance calls here and there and proved true 4 years later. I have also had Randy out to fix a gas leak in the attic and decided to get a quote for AC. He gave me an extremely fair price and also offered up the best options financially and gave me the decision with multiple options available depending on how much we wanted to invest. We had the AC installed two months ago and it is outstanding.

The crew for the two day AC install was headed by Randy, Bryan, and Eddie. I can't stress enough how professional, courteous and informative they were. Answered my numerous questions with pleasure and didn't complete the job until we were 100% comfortable and satisfied.

Look no further this is a company that will shoot you straight, give you peice of mind and a fair price for quality work and equipment, as well as service with a smile.

They will always have my business.

Horrible experience! Needed an AC person as soon as possible. Water leaking through ceiling. Made an appointment for the next morning only to have them call and cancel an hour before. They said they were at another job that would take all day. We had to scramble to find another company willing to come out on a Saturday. Very unprofessional and would NOT recommend their services.

I have known Randy for many years as we are neighbors as well. I have used them since about 1998. They have done major heating and air work at my house plus insulation. I also use them for plumbing problems as you would expect with an older house. Bryan was at my house yesterday doing preventative maintenance on the Air and Furnace and did a great job. My garbage disposal didn't seem to be working properly, so I called AA Atlas Plumbing. Mike checked it out thoroughly, and also diagnosed a problem with my bathroom faucets. In addition, he secured a couple of loose knobs on my bathroom cupboards. I was very impressed by his friendly, helpful attitude, as well as his competence and professionalism. Our A/C broke down. Eddie came out to see what the problem was. He figured out that I had a leak in my coil. He checked the coil in my attic to make sure the models matched. Rae emailed me the proposal, which I thought was a little expensive at first. Luckily, the replacement coil was still under warranty which Rae made sure of. Bryan and Ryan came out to install the coil. When they tried to install it, they discovered that the coil which was sent by the manufacturer was the wrong size. I was pretty upset since it's been nearly 2 weeks since our A/C broke and was not looking forward to additional days of no A/C while working from home. After about an hour of back and forth with the manufacturer, Bryan was able to locate an available coil at one of the manufacturer's warehouses. Bryan and Ryan immediately drove over, picked up the new coil, and came back to fix my A/C unit all on the same day! I am finally sitting in my room writing this review almost needing a sweater since I almost forgot what A/C felt like. My whole experience with AA Atlas from beginning to end was fantastic! The whole team is so friendly, professional, and compassionate. Before they left, Ryan busted out a vacuum and left my house cleaner than it was before they got there. What I initially thought was a little expensive was actually a bargain for the type of service they provided. Yes, these guys did awesome work, but what I was more impressed with was how they handled the negative situation and turned it into a positive one. That's true professionalism! Thank you Eddie, Rae, Bryan and Ryan! You guys have made me a customer for life!

This was my first time using AA Atlas. They really provided the 5 star service.

I happened to have a toilet clog and a thermostat issue. AA Atlas came over and fixed the both issues at a time. The technician Bryan came in on time, quickly found and cleaned the sewer pipe issue, then fixed my furnace fuse and got the power back on the thermostat quickly as well. Bryan fixed two different issues for me at a time, so I didn't have to get two companies to fix two issues. Saved me a lot of time and money. He is very knowledgeable and provided the professional service. I have to give him a 5 star rating. I'll definitely them again when I have any issues next time. They are great.

I needed a gas line replaced from my curbside meter to the side of my house, about a 65' in length. I spent a lot of time searching the internet and various review sites before I came to a couple companies I felt good about. After comparing quotes and calling a few people back for questions and judging by what I considered their overall professionalism, I chose AA Atlas. Their price was fair, they suggested some items I hadn't thought of and Damian the tech that came out and gave me a quote got right back to me with questions I had.
We scheduled for a few days down the road. I got a call confirming, or reminding me the day before, that they would be there the following morning. They arrived on time and got to business. A crew of a couple guy got busy knocking a trench out and routing the new line. I asked plenty of stupid questions and didn't get a bit of attitude. All the guys out there seemed fully knowledgeable about what they were doing, the products they were using and informing me of everything they ran across.
They finished up the same day, as I was told they would be, and were kind enough to be sure all the gas lines were purged, re-lit the pilot lights and made sure everything was running properly.
I should also mention, while I'm sure it is required, they pressure tested the line they installed to make sure it was all good before burring it. Also they did a fantastic job of digging the trench in a manner that left the least amount of damage to my yard and same with whatever bushes that needed to be trimmed. When they were done, if I didn't point it out, you'd have no idea the front yard had been dug up.
So, in closing, it has been a month now and I wanted to write this in hopes that it might be of help to anyone needing such a service. I am very happy with the work that was done. Damian and his crew did a great job. I would not hesitate to call on them or recommend them to others.

Finally called AA Atlas to look at my home AC. I had partially convinced myself that I was going to need a new system as it is close to 30 years old.

Bryan (who is substantially younger than my AC unit) showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem , a bad capacitor. He had a replacement on the truck and swapped the part.

Great deal $241 and 30 minutes later I had my precious air conditioning back. It had not worked in over two years, now I'm kicking myself for not calling them sooner.

My A/C goes out yesterday. I call and leave a message at 9 pm last night to this firm (found through yelp). Received not one, but two, follow-up calls by 8:30 this morning. They schedule me between 1 pm - 3 pm on the same day. I get a call at 1:45 pm that my guy is on the way!!! By now it is 87 degrees in my house. The next few days are supposed to be brutally hot. I am worried about my old dog who can't tolerate the heat and my houseguests who are arriving on Sunday.

Bryan shows up with a big smile and little booties and he gets right to work! Diagnoses my problem. Has the part right on his truck. Brings the old part in to show me exactly what was wrong, uses his meter to show me how dead my capacitor is, quotes me a reasonable price, and my A/C is now cranking!! What a delightful experience this has been from start to finish!!!

This is a wonderful family business and I am now a customer for life. You should be too!!!!

We have used AA Atlas for about fifteen years now, originally for minor plumbing repairs, and then for redoing all our HVAC to add central air. We have no complaints and many good results. Others are probably a bit cheaper, but you will not be wasting your money with Randy and his crew. It will almost certainly be right the first time, and if it's not he will take care of it right away without any hassles.

Not as happy after a major project (repiping the entire house to replace corroding galvanized pipe with copper, combined with two bathroom remodels). Overall things came out fairly well, but there were technical mistakes on some of the shower pieces (diverter arrangement), plus a definite tendency to charge premium prices on addons to the basic job.

We would like to add another glowing recommendation to the others here on yelp about the service we received at AA Atlas Plumbing. We have used this company several times ,and have been very impressed with the fine quality of the employees they have doing the work. They have one employee each for each specialization(plumbing, heating, AC etc) and we found everyone to be very informed about their area and able to tell us , the customer, everything they are going to do, and why.

We have used Eddie for several areas we were having problems with and recently to do a complete redo of our heating/AC. He explained everything very well, there were no hidden charges in the instalation, he and his helpers did an excellent job and worked very efficiently, and we were very happy with the results.

I am not particularilariy fond of the adage that you get what you pay for, because sometimes paying a great deal for something does not necessarily insure you get the best, or paying a little for something doesn't mean that you could not get something great. In the case of AA Atlas, the prices are a little higher than average for what they do, but the quality of the entire experience, makes it worth the price! They really do seem to go by the old adage, where the customer is King.

AA Atlas Plumbing did a great job! I highly recommend Mike R. He was calm, clear and concise. He provided excellent, prompt and efficient service. I would definitely recommend him and use him in the future. Mike solved our drain leak in our dining room wall, unclogged our toilet and cleaned out our main drain. Eddie R is my HERO! I had a shady home warranty company out to diagnose and fix my ac that was not working. Long story short, almost two weeks later I was still without ac and we are in the middle of 100+ temp heat wave! They said I needed a new motor and control board. After fighting with them for a week to come back out and fix it I decided to call my mom's trusty go to AA Atlas (I have a previous stellar review for them she asked me to post! )! Two days layer, my ac is fixed and running and the shady companies diagnosis was COMPLETELY incorrect (gasp!). Eddie was amazing and had my ac back on in 30 min at a ridiculously low cost! I could not be happier! I had to stay in a hotel last night since my house was so hot! Eddie was professional and was VERY knowledgeable with my system. Without a doubt I will be calling them for any and all problems I may encounter in the future! Thank you Eddie R! You are AWESOME!

Worse plumbing experience so far. Looked this company up by Yelp, saw the 5 star ratings and decided to use them without even doing comparison shopping. Needed a small leak in the pipe feeding the water softener fixed in my rental property. The guy came out the same day (thus the one star). My tenant also told him that he was not able to use the upstairs shower due to hard water buildup around the shower valve. The guy, Charles, tried to get me to replace the whole shower apparatus for $750 + $290 to fix the leak in the water softener pipe. I was not going to go for it and asked him to repair the shower valve plastic stem, which he quoted me $190. So he did both jobs for a total of $455, which took him less than one hour's time. I felt completely ripped off.

The following day, the water pressure became super low in the house, and then the following day, water stopped running all together throughout the house. My tenant, who works in contruction, examined the work and found that Charles had welded the pipes feeding the water softener backward, causing the loss of water to the house. I immediately called this company and asked them to send someone besides Charles asap. The secretary who answered the phone sounded defensive. They send Mike who was able to remedy the problem and correctly reinstall the piping. I got no call from Mike or this company after the job was corrected, no explanation or apology. Only my tenant called me to let me know the problem was fixed. He told me that the only explanation Mike offered was he (Charles) was probably just not familiar with plumbing in older homes. (My property was built in 1987.). Really???!!! And this guy is a LICENSED plumber? As my tenant aptly put it: He should not be a plumber then.

Needless to say, I will never use this company again or recommend it to any of my friends and relatives. I'm really unsure how it got all these 5 star reviews.

We just moved to our house 3 years ago and didn't realize how bad the drainage was in our backyard. Since El Niño is coming we decided to find someone to help us. Mike did an excellent job clearing our drainage pipes to the best of his ability and also fixed our water softener issue. He was on time, worked efficiently and explained everything clearly. We have used Atlas for all of our plumbing issues and repairs-as we live right here in Yorba Linda--and they have always been honest and fair. Their company repaired our main water line and have done numerous other jobs. They recently this past September 2015 installed both a new furnace and AC unit at our house when the summer heat was at its very worst. They even worked with their office to get to us sooner than expected to assist us because we had no AC for a three weeks or more. Randy and his son-in-law assisted us. Their service was great and we could not be happier. Fair pricing and great workmanship. Did not try to sell us more than we needed. In fact, we learned our old furnace had been recalled and had a slow leak and they took care of that right away. I would recommend them highly.

At first I was a little put off by AA Atlas plumbing because they were 2 hours late getting to my house because Mike R was called earlier that day out to an emergency call. The company called me twice to give me updates as to when Mike would arrive at my house and they were very apologetic about him being late (no discount was offered).

Once Mike R arrived at my house I was a little on the cranky side but he was very apologetic and in the end made everything right! He was extremely professional and seems to really love his job. He took the plumbing issues we were having seriously and took the time to talk us through the problem and exactly how he was going to fix it. His quality of work is excellent! He was respectful when coming into my house using shoe covers and he didn't leave a mess after he was done repairing our plumbing. The repair took longer than estimated but Mike stuck to the estimate.

Mike was great and I know now I have a plumber I can depend on.

Wow!!! Saved me over $11K! Got to give a special shout out to Eddie and the crew for finding my 7 yr old American Standard Unit had a shot modular board rather than a blown furnace motor. All other companies pretended to inspect my unit and concluded my motor was blown and I needed an entirely new air-conditioning unit. The bids ranged from $12,000 - $25,000. Eddie fixed it for $875! And, it works like its brand new in today's 100 degree temp. I haven't experienced this kind of honesty from a company... EVER. It just doesn't happen in this day and age of Sales over Substance. And, even further, you gave me a quote to repair my ducts at 1/2 the price of other bids. Eddie, you're a stud and a hell of a nice guy on top of it. You guys have my respect and appreciation. Likewise, you have my future business and as many referrals as I can. Thanks!

Over the years, I have had AA Atlas work on several jobs at my condo. Each time, has been a positive experience and I am continually impressed with the customer service that they provide. I have to say, my latest experience was the best one yet!

On the 1st hot day of the season, I turned on my AC, only to find that it had stopped blowing cold air. So, I called AA Atlas. It turned out that the Freon had leaked from the AC unit. The technician, Eddie, did an awesome job explaining my options for fixing my AC. I decided to go ahead and find the leak and have it fixed. Chris, in the office, did an amazing job ordering the replacement part, ensuring a quick delivery and coordinating an installation day/time that worked around my busy schedule. Then on the day of installation, Eddie spent several hours working on my AC. He was a true professional who worked hard and kept a clean work area. I couldn't be happier. This was the fifth time AA Atlas came to our rescue. We had a leak under our sink once again and when Bryan arrived he told us it was our garbage disposal. That was no surprise as the unit is old, cheap and loud. We had already done some research knowing we would replace it one day. InSinkErator was definitely high end. Bryan showed my husband both models we liked and we went for the InSinkErator Pro 1.1 HP. Yes, it is a commercial grade and we wanted the best with a warranty of 12 years. It is so quiet. Love how it operates on the video online. We can rest assure that it will work for a long time. It is a BEAST. Bryan always leads us down the right path. He once again went over and beyond and configured plumbing to fit this unit. Cleaned up beautifully. Always so respectful and kind. You and your team are the best!!

We just moved in our house, were exhausted and all the toilets, tubs and showers backed up with water. Of course, this happened after 7pm on a Sunday! I called and they answered right away, discussed the problem and the cost over the phone. The nicest guy came late in the night, found the problem in the main sewer, fixed it, and the cost was no more than we discussed on the phone. Well worth it - so impressed with the kindness and professionalism and good clean work.

Wow! AA Atlas Plumbing did great, my toilet's fill valve was clogged due to hard water build up and would not allow us to flush till 20 min after the first flush, yuk! So I called them, the tech Charle knew what was wrong and in 20 min he was done and out the door! He was nice, professional and I'd definitely use them again. The bill was $165 to install a new Korky fill valve. I'm not sure what the average cost is for that, but I don't mind because of the quality and timely manner of service. The original appointed time scheduled was 1pm to 3pm and he came at 12:30; I received a courtesy call prior to his arrival. I was quite alright with that!

We are so pleased with our American Standard A/C System. Our townhomes built 23 years ago have a hydronic system for heating and air conditioning, which is rare today. The people at AA Atlas Plumbing Heating & Air really understand what needs to be done.

We received several estimates. As we interviewed each company we found AA Atlas to be the most knowledgable. Bryan explained the work to be done in detail. Every question I asked he answered. The estimate was not the lowest, and we went with them because we felt comfortable with a fair sized company with knowledgable staff that will do the job right and be here in the years to come when we need them.

During installation, Bryan and Ian were considerate of our home and cleaned up everything. They even finished up the area around the A/C with white rocks that matched what we have in the garden. Looks great and the A/C is so quite.

As you see we gave them 5 stars. We would highly recommend them!

Thank you Ian-you were great!! So my AC went out in August and I called out a different company to fix it and they said that part of the air duct was detached in the attic. Long and short, their first quote to fix was $10k, second quote was $6.5, and on a 3rd visit, the quote was $5k and they told me a patch job/partial replacement could not be done because the fiberglass ducting was old and would fall apart. Also, my $5k quote was a Black Friday special and I needed to commit within a week. I declined. Got a referral from my neighbor for AA Atlas and so glad I did! Ian came out, I explained what they told me, he assessed and determined it could indeed be fixed (not full replacement) just by replacing about 7 feet of ducting. Cost was minimal and I am good to go! So glad I found this company, I will be calling them back again next time I need service. Nice to know there are some honest companies out there. Also AA Atlas' quote for total replacement was less than 1/2 of the Black Friday special offer.

This was the third time I had to call upon AA Atlas and was introduced to Damian. First was a slab leak, then a leaking water heater and fixing a bad plumbing job done on the water line to my refrigerator....done by another plumber who obviously didn't know what he was doing.

Damian fixed all three of my problems. What a great guy! Knowledgeable, pleasant, clean, kind and best of all.....quick! Diagnosed each problem quickly and got to work.

AA Atlas is always very responsive and seems fairly priced. No one wants to need a plumber, but when I do....I call AA Atlas and ask for Damian (just personal preference). I'm sure the entire staff is great! Including the office staff!

I used AA Atlas based on the reviews. I had a kitchen sink that was leaking and needed a flexible hose replaced. Everything was professional from beginning to end, from the call to the office to the service by Robert R.. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day. I found AA atlas on Yelp and I am glad that I did! Their technician Bryan came over to inspect my homes ducting and determined it was broken and asbestos insulation was compromised. He explained everything very well and was very personable. I hired him to replace the ducting after the asbestos and old ducting was removed. Bryan took the time to explain how they designed the new ducts to be efficient, serviced the furnace and fixed the filter so it was easier to access. The asbestos removal company missed a whole run of ducting and Bryan found it and called that company back to come remove all the asbestos at no charge, that is how attentive he is. They were always on time and finished the project in the timeframe they quoted. Whenever I contacted them with questions they answered quickly and took the time to explain everything. When I found out the piping was pinched shut with rust and needed replacement I didn't hesitate to call Aa atlas to give them my business. Again they were professional and diligent. They took the same care with the piping that they did with the ducting. Even as I requested new work, the water heater was full of sediment due to the rusted galvanized piping, some of the joists were rotted due to a leak in the toilet flange, they were accommodating and professional. The pex installation turned out great and I am amazed by how wonderful this company is. They have a customer for life! Hire this company! Thank you AA Atlas!

They offer same day service if you want to pay 3-4 times the normal rate!!! My AC broke at my house and I called AA Atlas and spoke to Jessica. They sent out a repairman that same day to give me a quote. They charged $80.00 for a service call. Jessica called me and quoted me over $1,050,00 to fix the AC !!! She quoted $345.00 to replace the contactor ( I found one at Home Depot for $22.00.) She said that I also needed a Hard Start kit
for $219.00 ($8.41 from Honme Depot).Next she said that we also needed a deep cleaning for $480.00,Then she said that I still needed a Freon recharge for $100.00 per lb..AA Atlas's quote was over $1,050.00 at this point and that did not include the Freon at $100.00 per lb.I then checked with 2 other AC repair companies for a Quote. Shawn Lambert quoted me $119.00 for a contactor....that was less than 1/3rd the price that Jessica quoted me ($345.00) for the exact same work !! AA ATLAS is OO OVERPRICED !!!!!!!!Buyer beware !!!!

AA Atlas did an awesome job fixing my clogged drain. I called AA Atlas this morning and immediately scheduled for the afternoon service. Christina was very nice to send a courtesy call to inform me that Charles is on the way to my house. Within about less than ten minutes, Charles found the cause of the clog and my sink is as good as new. I highly recommend AA Atlas for any plumbing problems. Awesome job Charles! The fact that they are local is a plus! Will definitely use then again.

I would give this company ten stars if I could! I first met Eddie at Atlas when I let him in a neighbor's home to fix the heater that wasn't working. Eddie was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and honest! He identified the problem quickly--a faulty thermostat--and replaced it! He also cleaned the filters and the old heater up so it was in perfect working order! We also had a few plumbing issues, but hadn't gotten them fixed, because we were afraid to just call a plumber out of the blue. I knew immediately who I was going to call--AA Atlas! Called them the next week and made an appointment to have the problem with our shower valve fixed and new a/c serviced. Two teams came out--one for the a/c and one for the shower--right on time! I was so excited to see Eddie again and also Damian and Adrian. They spent time and evaluated the shower issue and fixed it! Eddie serviced our a/c and we are good to go for the summer! Again, extremely professional, efficient and honest team! We have so many plumbing issues with our home and we are so grateful to have found AA Atlas!

Our air conditioning was constantly running and did not seem as cold as it used to be. I had noticed some oil leaking from one of the pipes, but I didn't want to admit that the system might need to be replaced. My wife gently prodded me to call and have it checked out.

We called AA Atlas, and Randy came out to service the system. He explained I had a freon leak, and that I should probably have the system (20-year-old compressor and original, 40-year-old coil) replaced including the crappy furnace we had. He gave me a few options (from repairing what I had to replacing the whole system), and my wife and I decided to go whole hog and have everything replaced (ducts, furnace, coil, compressor, and even the registers). Randy was not pushy, very genuine, and reasonable.

On the day of the installation (the asbestos-containing duct work had been removed the day before) Bryan and Ian showed up on time (9:00 a.m.) and began installing the system. They made sure to put down plenty of drop cloths to minimize the mess and proceeded to bust their assess taking out the old system and installing the new one. Luckily the day they installed the system it was not too hot, so they did not die in the attic. They worked pretty much straight through the day until about 6:30 p.m. Randy came by earlier in the afternoon to finish up the compressor outside while Bryan and Ian finished up inside.

Our new system is colder, much quieter, and more efficient (It may sound strange, but we can't wait to see our next electric bill).

Throughout the process everyone was professional, worked hard, and did a great job.

I couldn't believe how hard they all worked to get the job done, especially Bryan and Ian. Those two guys are studs.

I would not hesitate to recommend AA Atlas Plumbing, Heating, and Air.

5 stars for them to get the job done but 1 star for the price. Our shower valve got stocked. They came over to fix it. When I called them, they said they charge a fee to visit which I am ok because it is the same as other plumber. However, when the guy came here, he quoted it by job not by the hour. It took the guy about half hour to fix the problem. But it was 3 times of what my regular plumbing charges. I had a visitor coming so had to get it fixed and my regular plumber was out of town.

AA Atlas Plumbing was a life saver with our new home. The main line sewer backed up within 5 days of moving in and we called and the Technician (Robert) was out on site that afternoon. We had been living with this condition for 2 weeks with 2 other companies misdiagnosing the problem and quoting us very high costs to repair. Robert gave us a thorough diagnosis within an hour and explain in detail how the repair would be completed.
