Steve and James are awesome. We have had them come out twice-once to fix an outdoor sewer line and another time to replace our hot water heater. Both times, the precarious event occurred on a weekend night, and they immediately were able to respond. In the case of the blocked sewer line, Steve was out to our house within an hour. Mr Kim was AWESOME!  Highly recommend.
I called on a Sunday evening as our toilets backed up.  After calling, saw that the business address was Millbrae and hung up.  (Im in San Jose)  Mr. Kim quickly called me back and was available to come over within 1hr... and guess what, he pulled up in 1hr exactly!  OMG.  Does anyone really show up when they say that they will?  Yup, Mr. Kim does!

He quickly assessed the job, pulled out his 75' snake and went to work.  Within a few minutes, the clog was gone, drains were working again, and toilets flushing!

Mr. Kim then stuck around for a while and told us to run the water to make sure that it was all good.  What a professional.

Pricing was reasonable and a no charge guarantee if he can't fix it.  (i'm sure it would also apply if he had to come back that night).

Our nail salon had a pipe angle shut off valve burst and water started spouting out. My mom had a client call him out of desperation and he came on very short notice. He fixed the problem very promptly and although there was some issue with price at first, the issue was suitably resolved. He is a pleasant man and we appreciate him coming out on short notice.

Today, Steve saved my day. Last night my two toilets and shower area were clogged so badly. We lucky got a plumbing company to come right the way. Unfortunately after two hours, they did not fixed the clog problem at all. Then they suggested me a huge plumbing work....so I decided to get a second opinion! That's how I found 24hr Drain pro on the yelp last night.

This morning Steve came in and asked me several questions and checked my whole house very very detail and he found the problem.  He FIXED it without to break my concrete.  I am so happy now all my toilets are working very well. Shower area has no more standing water. Highly recommend Steve!

People often don't spend time thinking about the pipes behind the walls - until something goes wrong.

When my kitchen drain pipe clogged and no amount of force could remove the P-trap (turns out mine is a weird design with one end glued on), I knew I was in over my head.

For the first plumbing company I called:
* The earliest they could arrive was the following morning
* Their quote was higher
* When the house lacks a sewer cleanout as mine does, they don't go on the roof to access the plumbing vents

I then called 24hr Drain Pro and found out:
* They could arrive in 45 minutes
* Their quote was lower
* They do go onto roofs when necessary

Friendly and easygoing Steve Kim (the owner of Drain Pro) arrived quickly as promised, face and shoes covered. He determined that the P-trap was indeed stuck and removed it with a hacksaw, finding a large clog in the pipe past the trap. Apparently, food waste and grease particles over the years can create a thick, sludgy clog. Say whaaat!? After some quick snaking, the pipe was unblocked once more, and Steve reinstalled the P-trap with a coupling to make it easier for me to remove in the future. He also gave me some tips on future maintenance.

Yelp claims that Drain Pro accepts credit cards, but when I asked if I could pay by card, Steve asked me to pay by Venmo or a check and I didn't feel like pressing the issue. It's possible that they don't take cards.

The price wasn't cheap but was reasonable given the fast response, especially in these quarantine times when demand for home services is higher. And it's awesome that the company will respond 24 hours a day - though it must suck for Steve being on-call all the time!

For me, I've learned to be better about preventative maintenance, so hopefully it will be a long while before I need to call a plumber again!

Our sewer lateral got clogged with what I later learned were tree roots. Of course it was Sunday, about an hour before I had to go to a meeting.  Steve came over right away and rooted the line and our drain was moving again after 15 minutes.  I highly recommend his services and really appreciate that he resolved my problem so quickly.

Called this plumber for a quote to help solder a pipe end that was leaking water (outside my house). They asked for pictures so I sent them and told them I'm looking for a plumber asap. I got a text back saying it would cost $495...that's some markup. Markups are ok but that's straight exploitation right there.

Called for a clogged toilet. Whoever answered the phone asked a bunch of question to try and pinpoint the problem - whether it was the toilet or potentially further down the pipes. I called at 4pm and he said he could come by between 6-7pm. I didn't end up going with 24hr drain pro because the water started to slowly drain so I wanted to wait overnight and try a few more plunges but this guy is super responsive, seems very honest, and gave me a reasonable quote. It's not like calling into the call centers and booking an appointment just for an estimate like other companies. If I ever have any issues going forward I'm calling here first.

I had just moved into a new spot and less then 2 weeks in some backed up sewer water started to seep up into my bathtubs. I called Steve and he showed up within an hour and a half and began to diagnose the problem. I live in a condominium so he had to survey the building to figure out the best approach. He was transparent and explained his process and told me what he was looking for. When the time came to take action he told me what the price would be to fix the mainline drain clog (he said $650, the other quote I got was $1500 minimum) and said he wouldn't charge me at all if he couldn't fix it.

He fixed it within 25 mins, wrote up an invoice that I could forward to the property manager and cleaned up after himself.

This guy is gonna be the first one I call if I ever have another plumbing issue.

We had a backed up drain in our shower and toilets. After waiting all day for our home warranty vendor to call, we gave up and called Steve.  At this point it was after hours so there was a bit of a premium.

He said he'd be here in 15 minutes, but he arrived within 10!  Super fast.

He explained what the problem was and after 30 minutes of snaking the clean out,  we were up and  running. I asked him if I needed to replace the connection since this happened before and there was a strange bend in the pipe. Although he said we should, he told us to check with the city first as they were already doing sewer work on our street. He thought they would replace it for us so no need for him to do it.   I confirmed with the workers the next day and this saved us some money.

I thought Steve was honest and quick and also willing to explain the problem. A bit expensive as others have stated, but his work came with a 30-day warranty which other plumbers don't offer.

I'd hire Steve again!

I contacted Steve mid afternoon on a Saturday. We had a leaking kitchen faucet and after taking a trip to Home Depot and ALMOST purchasing an entire new kitchen sink unit we decided to reach out to a professional to confirm the unit needed to be replaced. I contacted Steve and let him know what the issue was. He immediately was able to pinpoint the problem and quickly walked us through how to repair it ourselves. We didn't have to purchase anything and we we're able to complete the task by utilizing tools we already had handy. A HUGE WIN! We called him at 10 pm on Saturday for emergency service. This company was the only one available for the emergency services and the price was reasonable considering the weekend night emergency service.

After around 30min, he arrived with a face and shoes mask on.  We thought we could install a water softener by ourselves and messed up by wrongly cutting the pipe. Anyway, he went down to the crawl space to extend the pipe and did the welding and plumbing job professionally.  It's been a week and there's no leak and the water softener works perfectly.

I'd highly recommend this company for the timing manner, work completion level, and the availability for emergency service.

Just recently, I discovered a leak from one of my toilet water tanks, which was caused by a bad fill valve and called Steve on an emergency basis. He was able to fit me into his busy schedule and eventually fixed this issue. While he was investigating the problem, he inquired about the age of the home/fixture and recommended that I replace the fill valves in the other toilets too because it would be an issue again. It showed Steve has a tremendous amount of experience with dependable craftsmanship.

Having an emergency sewer issue during the COVI19 at night is definitely a huge huge disturbance that you can possibly imagine. Me and my wife were in the panic mode and reached out to Mr. Kim. He answered the phone quickly and came to rescue within 30 minutes. Needless to say, he was able to identify the issue and fixed everything within an hour. You have no idea of how happy and grateful we are.

Mr. Kim did rescue us in a similar situation a few years back and his service quality has not deteriorated a bit. I called for a clogged sink. I was able to schedule for next day because it was very late in the day. He arrived on time and went to work. Drain was cleared in 10 min from the roof vent. It wasn't cheap but was worth every penny. Great job and thanks for picking up the phone so late.

I had an excellent experience with this business! Both our kitchen and bathroom sinks backed up at the same time, which had never happened before. I called Steve (the owner) around 7:30 PM, and would've been happy to wait until the next day for him to come out, but he said he could be at our house at 9 PM. He showed up right when he said he would, figured out the problem, and got everything taken care of in about an hour. This included having to go up on our roof to snake the kitchen sink since we don't have a catchment on the other side, and disassembling some of the pipes in our bathroom in order to clear the blockage there.

On top of that, Steve is a really nice person and took the time to answer my many questions. Thanks, Steve!

We had sewer water coming out from the clean out. It was messy and stinky. We called the plumber and he arrived about 90 minutes after the call. He was responsive and efficient. He diagnosed the problem as tree roots and used his machine to remove the tangled mess. The sewage works great now.

We had a clogged kitchen sink drain back in May that I was unable to clear by plunging or with my own drain snake working under the sink. This would be stressful enough while trying to get dinner ready, but late at night on a Saturday during a pandemic that panic factor goes through the roof.  Fortunately, 24hr Drain Pro answered their phone on the first ring, quoted a fair price, and said they'd have someone out within 45 minutes.  Once he got here (masked and socially distancing), he hauled his equipment up onto the roof, snaked the drain via the vent pipe, and had us back in business in short order.  With a 30 day guarantee on the work, the service was well worth the price paid!

Had a leak in my ceiling on a Saturday. I opened up the ceiling myself and saw that the copper pipe was dripping. I quickly yelped for a plumber 24 hours and Steve was one of the first results. I took a chance and called him. He told me to text him the pic and he quickly gave me an estimate and said he could be over in 45 minutes. He showed up on time and got to work. It took a little longer than expected but he made sure everything was fixed and did quality work. Paid with venmo the original estimate and he went on his way. Called Steve at 7am this morning for a clogged drain in the bathroom that I had tried multiple ways to unclog myself. He set a time at 9:30 am to come and was upfront about the evaluation cost.

He was on time, super professional, and diagnosed the problem. He tried a couple of things and found that the drain was so clogged solidly in the wall behind the sink that the snake wouldn't go down into the drain and he would need to take the wall apart to get to the pipe and replace it altogether. He needed to get some tools/supplies and told me he would be back in the afternoon. Before leaving he gave me an estimate of the cost.

He came back less than 90 minutes later, took apart the wall, replaced the pipe, cleared the clogged drain and patched up the wall in less than 2 hours... and didn't leave a mess behind.

I just want to thank the gentleman I called around 1:30 am last night who walked me through what I could do to address a leaking water heater. We called to have someone come out, understanding that it was going to cost us a lot to have someone come in the middle of the  night. The man I spoke to told me exactly what I needed to do so that it would save us the expensive trip. Had a leak underneath my bathroom sink. The leak was caused by the drain being back up and overtime the connector to the pipe had a hairline crack. Steve responded to my quote request and gave me a fair estimate considering he was going to come over on a Sunday to fix things. He cleaned out the pipe from the wall which was full of gunk from many years of use. He proceeded to make the repair by replacing the fitting and securing the connector. He cleaned up the area, rechecked everything again before leaving, and guaranteed his work for 30 days. Great work and I would hire 24HR Drain Pro again.

At 10:30 pm on a Saturday night, during a pandemic, no less, we had an outdoor hose bib burst. I called a couple of places that advertised themselves as 24 hour, but aren't really right now, as well as another emergency plumber that said they'd be out a week from Monday. Fair, fast, and reliable. We had something fall in the toilet as it was flushing and we needed to check that it wasn't clogged. Since it's our only toilet, we needed help right away. Steve came very quickly (about 1 hour) and thoroughly checked our toilet and indoor pipe and confirmed that they were clean. He also showed us the outdoor pipe to prove that wasn't blocked either, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Would recommend!

Good quality and fast service. But the price is sky high. If you don't care about money, maybe he is a good option. You pay around 3-4x more with him. If you care about money, I would suggest you can ask around the quotes on yelp, and you'll find out how much he charges you more.

I called for an emergency service at around 9:00pm for a backed up sewer pipe. Showed up around 10:00pm and immediately went to work snaking the drain. We found it there was a broken sewer pipe by the curb. I had to get that fixed in the morning by our contractor who was excavating near the pipes. Given the fact that it was an emergency service call the price was reasonable and the service was quite good.

James completed a trenchless lateral sewer pipe replacement, and installed a city cleanout at my home. Before coming, we spoke on the phone and I provided details, which James was able to clearly understand and provide an estimate for. Coming on site, he was able to confirm the estimate, and quickly began work. James did excellent work, and made sure that any interruptions in water were given in advance, and made sure our water was functional by the end of the day.

James also provided photos and a live camera shot to show the new pipe once installation was finished. He ran into some unexpected issues, but stayed true to the original estimate and completed the job without adding any additional cost.

I would highly recommend James at 24hr Drain Pro. He is honest, reliable, and a very knowledgable professional.

I have a one bathroom condo.  Both the shower and toilet would not drain. I called on a Sunday and spoke with Steve.  I asked if someone could come out Monday, and he said yes.
Javier came by within the window quoted by Steve.  He was both friendly and proficient.  My bathroom is now in perfect working order.  
The only complaint, if you can even call it that, was that Javier was out of business cards.

We had Mr Kim come out and replace our ancient water heater. He was fast, friendly, efficient and knew exactly what he was doing.
We had him come back the next week to fit us a water line for our fridge. Once again, he did an excellent job.

Thank you, Steve.  You save my butt from getting in hot water with the wifey.

I tried to fix our master bedroom's toilet by replacing the ballcock Thursday around 9pm.  Bad idea, should have listened to the wife.  After getting all the parts installed, the valve to the water wasn't responding too well and kept leaking even though the release valve was shut off.  Long story short, it leaked down to the ceiling.  Steve picked up our call at 5am and got to repairing the situation at around 6:30 and completed the job within an hour.

Steve came within 20 minutes of calling, impressive in these times. I had already tried snaking it with no luck from outside. He determined it was a rusted drain pipe under the tub and said it would take going under the house - which is a tight area and agreed to send someone the next morning.
Javier showed up on time, and after another hours' work found the problem was the cast iron pipe between the toilet and the sink. Gave me an estimate (which seemed a bit high, but we were stuck) and agreed to come back the next day. He had to make several cuts in the pipe to remove it, and found it was not only clogged, but had a large hole where water was dripping thru.   Replaced it with a larger ABS pipe, and dropped the price $300 when he finished earlier than planned. All this while finding and working around black widow spiders in the area! Very satisfied, and glad he wasn't bitten!

Came home to a surprised water heater leak - had no idea what to do. Called around 11pm as the company advertised 24 hour availability, but appeared to wake a man up. He suggested I turn off the water first, which I did not know how to do. My bathtub had a clog so I called around a bunch of plumbers using Yelp and shortlisted to 3. I picked 24ht Drain guys since they were licensed/bonded/insured (the other 2 had great reviews as well but were not) and also they were specialists in drain experience. I am very happy I picked them. James came out and snaked my bathtub drain which was fairly easy but I also had him check my drain pipes below the house (galvanized) and main line since I've had several issues in the past. James dId a thorough check of the crawl space and provided me an estimate to change the drain pipes to code. But also said it  was not urgent. I found them fair, experienced, professsional, and worth the extra bucks. I will use them again. Thanks Steve and James!

Just a quick glowing review for Steve Kim and his crew.

He is very knowledgable and is able to get to you quick, which in a plumbing emergency situation is very nice.

On a Saturday night when we had our tub faucet leaking, I called a few plumbers before calling Steve, and many of them either couldn't come, didn't answer/return my call, or wouldn't even recommend a colleague for an emergency situation!

Luckily I found Steve on Yelp and he came very quick.  He diagnosed the issue and attempted to resolve it, charging basically only a service call since he would have to return on Monday.  On Monday he called earlier than I expected him to and came over very quick.  Unfortunately he was not able to solve the issue without major reconstruction, at which point I asked him to stop so I could call my contractor first.

He was very easy to work with, communicated well, and will be on our very short list of trusted and available home improvement go-to's.

24 Drain Pro is fast and very reasonably priced for Menlo Park.

We have used them 3 times for 3 separate issues and they were there same day (one time in under an hour) and the problem was fixed including blocked toilet, blocked kitchen sink and a blocked bath.

Thanksgiving Day, 2017.
Got up at 3:30am to start a second load in the dishwasher and found that last night's load had filled up the kitchen sink and was not draining. And that the wash machine had also backed up. Aaarrggghhh!
I called 24 Hr Drain Pro at 6:30am thinking that I would leave a message, but lo and behold, I got a real but sleepy person! Told him my problem. He committed to a 9:00am arrival.
They were here by 9:15 am on Thanksgiving! They gave me a reasonable holiday quote and started to work.

Mr Steve is very professional and really experienced. He has everything he needs for the job in his truck and doesn't need to do separate runs for parts. He quickly saw the issue and went about fixing new fixtures. Very detailed oriented and gets work done diligently. Not a talkative person but I appreciated that a lot since I was in a crisis and needed someone that knows his work best. He answered my questions and I knew exactly what he was fixing. Will recommend him strongly if you want to have peace of mind that the problem is fixed and won't reoccur.

Why does it seem plumbing emergencies happen at the most inopportune times? Here it was, Sunday, Christmas Eve at around 5 p.m., and, after I did a load of laundry, my bathtub and toilet (down the line from my washer) totally filled up with water. Oh, no, a clog in the main line!

I called my regular plumber, but they weren't available. So, then I called a couple of 24-hour plumbers; the first one said they were booked up till Thursday. On the second one I called, 24-Hour Drain Pro Plumbing, Steve Kim, the owner, answered the phone right away. He said he couldn't come out that evening, as they already had 5 other jobs to do that night, but he could come out today (Christmas Day) at 8:30 a.m.

Well, Steve and Jose did come out this morning, assessed the problem, and got right to work. My 1920's house did not have any proper clean-outs (I have had plumbers in the past have difficulty snaking out clogs because of the lack of a proper clean-out), so Steve suggested that I have them install a clean-out from the sewer line in my basement crawl space to the outside of my house next to my driveway. The price seemed fair, so I had them do the job.

Well, I expected this kind of a job to take much longer than it ended up taking them to do; within two hours, they were done. They installed the new clean-out and cleared out my sewer line. All is working fine and dandy now! And, in the future, should my drain get clogged up again, it will be much easier to get to and clear out the drain.

Steve and Jose were prompt, courteous, honest, and competent. Steve was able to explain to me very clearly how things worked and why such-and-such needed to be done. And his pricing was very fair (I even got my senior discount).

Can you tell I highly recommend this plumbing company????

I reached out to Mr. Kim and he replied fairly quickly. I usually have to contact him each year since my pipes get clogged by the city tree roots. This has been an ongoing problem and the toilets and shower get backed-up.
Javier came out to the house and fixed the problem. However, a few days later, I noticed the toilet was gurgling while I was showering. So, I contacted Mr. Kim again and the response time was wonderful.
Javier and James came out this time. I ended up changing out the pipe to the main city line, which was a huge project. It took 5 days, yet James and Javier were so professional and completed the big job. The plumbing has been wonderful and it makes a huge difference. They had to dig at least a 6 foot trench and were working underneath the home. Still, they kept the inside of my home nice and neat, using butcher paper, booties to cover their shoes, and a zipper door to block the dust.
I couldn't have been happier with the end product and the success of the new pipes even though it cost quite a bit. It was well worth it since James said my pipe had a crack in it and it probably would've cracked within a year. James talked me through the process and showed me the rust and decay on the old piping, so I was being educated through the process.

Contacted this company for an urgent plumbing issue. He got my information and told me that he will be there in 30 min to 45 min. After
45 min and not hearing from him, I tried to call him couple of times with no response. I had to call another company to come out and do my best

Steve Kim from 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing answered our distress call today when we had a backed up main line to our home.  He was at our home within 30 minutes from our initial call.  We had just turned away another drain cleaning company because they were unwilling to clear the clog from a roof vent which was a necessity since we did not have an accessible cleanout.  Steve was on the roof, under the house and worked the problem until the clog was removed (which turned out to be tree roots located 98 feet out under the middle of the street!).  We were very impressed with how professional and knowledgeable Steve was and cannot say enough about his dedication and perseverance.  He comes very highly recommended!

Did the job, unplugged our bath sink.  Less than 30 minutes,  came an hour late, left a mess on the wall that came off the snake,  charged $275!!! I've never paid that much ever!!

Javier was fantastic!  Our house was under Contract to be sold and the water main broke. They were out there very quickly and extremely professional about the work that needed to be done. wow can not believe it.  Javier fixed my backyard leaky pipe for free.  Wow. And they came on Sunday within one hour of my phone call.

This is really as good as you can get.

I have a backyard pipe leak and did not want to replace the plastic pipe to copper pipe for now.  Javier gave me several options to fix this issue.  He fixed the issue in no time.  He was most professional, very pleasant and very knowledgeable.

I've called Steve twice to help with plumbing issues and very highly recommend him.

The first time - it was on an extremely cold Friday night at 9.30pm. Steve picked up the phone, was extremely courteous, and came out within the hour to help me unclog my kitchen sinks and washer/dryer drain as well as reassemble some drain pipes that I had taken apart to try and DIY. He was immediately able to identify the issue as a clog further along the drain line and fixed my issue within 30 minutes for a very reasonable price considering the time and day.

The second time I called - it was on a warm Sunday afternoon at 5.30pm for a partial toilet bowl clog that I couldn't plunge or snake away. Steve picked up the phone again within the first ring and set off immediately. Meanwhile, I continued trying... and managed to get the issue fixed before Steve arrived. I called Steve to inform him and he graciously decided not to charge me even though he was less than 5 minutes away (I offered to pay his original and very reasonable quote for his troubles and travel but he declined).

I feel extremely fortunate to have found someone reliable and honest as Steve, who is willing and able to help with my plumbing issues large and small at all hours of the weekend (they never seem to happen on working hours during the weekdays). Thank you very much Steve and sorry for the wasted trip.

Absolutely rude! We have a plumbing emergency and called. He came and assessed the situation. We told him that since it's an older home we didn't have a clean out or vents on the roof. The last plumber just removed the toilet to get to the clog. He just didn't want to remove the toilet, he told us he wanted to fix our clean out situation. It's a plumbing emergency! We have a large family and a baby, so not being able to use water is not an option. We were willing to pay his high quote just to get the job done, but he refused when we didn't go with his idea. He wasted our time when we could have just called someone else. Do not do business with this company, there are better 24/7 plumbing services. In fact, we're using one now.

We originally engaged 24 Hr.Drain Pro to replace our leaking Hot Water Heater.  As always, this is an immediate-need job.  Steve Kim (owner) responded quickly  and was most courteous and professional.  We concluded that it was best that I purchase the heater (and hold) at Home Depot, then notify Steve.  He picked up the heater and installed that same evening even though the the work clearly extended well into his dinner time.  

A few months later, when we realized it was time to replace our 60 year old drainage system, we were quite comfortable calling 24 Hr. Fast, tidy, pleasant to work with.

Once again, our sewer backed up on Thanksgiving week. With visions of jack-hammering the patio in our heads, the 4th plumber we called answered and said they could be here within 45 mins.  We had a little trouble communicating over the phone - one of us had less than great cell reception, but we managed to schedule the appointment.

Steve showed up, we explained the situation. After a few questions (our cleanout is not typical), he quickly got to work.

Less than 2 hours later, everything is working.  What a relief - now to clean up what caused us to call them in the first place. Sigh!

Contacted Mr. Kim regarding a clog in our sewer drain and requested if he could clear the clog via the 4 roof vent.
He arrived promptly and he initially used a portable motorized snake on the roof, but it lacked enough power to clear the roots that were causing the problem.
He then used a larger machine and a larger cutting bit, but while his assistant fed the snake into the roof vent, when I went check progress in the affected bath, found that instead of the snake going out to the street, had come out through the toilet bowl smashing it and the surrounding tiles.
Me. Kim's only response was that this hanever happen to him before, and provided to draw a diagram on his hand of how the drain/vent system were designed and the impossible just happened.
He offered no viable solutions, charged me $200 for his time and drove away!!
The next day I cleaned the mess he left me with and rented a 4 snake from a local rental shop and cleared the drain myself.
A week later, after ordering and installing a new toilet, my bathroom is finally functional.

I would not recommend his services to anyone!

Update:
After posting the above review, I was contacted by Mr. Kim who acknowledged my concerns and offered and returned my $200.
I appreciate his responding to my review and follow up.

Mr. Kim and his crew is very professional and gets the job done. Help fix a difficult kitchen leak and also found out my water heater was slowly leaking and rusted through!! Got the water heater replaced. They point out the problem and suggest solutions. I greatly appreciate their professionalism and prompt attention and getting the problem fixed. I highly recommend Mr. Kim and his team!!
Now I have his phone number on the water heater tank for quick access.

AO Smith water heater had a strange loud fog horn that blew randomly when the burner kicked in...a visit by Smith service rep was useless and did not solve the problem, but James from Mr. Kim's group came and solved it...go James!

Steve came out same day to take a look at our non-emergency yet urgent project, extending out a couple tubes from our office sink to feed into our fridge with ice/water and also to feed into a water cooler. He quoted us a reasonable price and was able to go out and pick up the items he needed and come back within a couple hours to complete the job efficiently and well. When you are a first time homeowner and you move into a home, you don't plan on plumbing emergencies on a Sunday.  This was the only company that promised same afternoon service when my bathtub started backing up and clogging.  After googling how to fix a shower tub clog and trying all the DIY home remedies, I realized I needed a professional.  24 Hour Drain Pro came out and inspected the problem and even wore the doctor scrubs on their feet to keep the house clean from the mud outside due to the rain.  They isolated the problem to the main line, which was severely backed up.

After Tony found there was no main clean out for the home, he made an appointment to come back the next day and install a new clean out.  In my head, I am thinking that this will cost me a fortune, but a fair price was quoted upfront.  The whole job took about 6 hours and Tony and Steve worked hard to install the new line and clean out the drain.  They even found a diaper in the clog.  

We even called our Home Warranty plan, but looking at the reviews from the associated vendors, we stuck with 24 Hour Drain Pro.  It's never fun to deal with emergency plumbing, but I would highly recommend these guys.

Mr. Kim seemed like the best plumber to go with after calling around several on yelp for quotes for service that night (of course these things happen after hours ~9pm... someone even quoted me $800!) Anyway, I decided it could wait till the morning and Mr. Kim called to let me know he was on his way the next day at 10:30am. He even came earlier like I had requested. He and Jose were nothing but professional and very knowledgeable about what was cause of my plumbing issues. After some investigation, it wasn't a toilet bowl issue like I had anticipated, but a main sewage line clog due to tree roots! He and Jose were extremely thorough and did a great job. I will gladly call him again if I ever have another plumbing issue! Highly recommended. :)

These guys are awesome! I called around and around this morning to get someone out to unclog a toilet (hopefully today). On my initial call to these guys, they said they could get someone out late afternoon and I said thanks, but I'm hoping for something sooner than that. I'm gonna keep calling around.

A while later, they called me back and said they'd send someone now if I still needed it.

Two guys showed super fast and were in and out quickly with no mess. Very polite - fantastic customer service and a VERY reasonable price. Thanks guys!!

Called for a broken pipe.  Came out in a timely manner looked at the job said he was going to go get a camera and my husband told him you can't get a camera in because that's all mud and water and he still insisted he was going to get a camera we thought he was going to his car 15 minutes later he didn't come back I called him he said he was getting a camera he'd be back. 45 minutes later I call him. He said he can't get a camera but he never called back to tell me. PI wish you would've told me from the start that he didn't want the job rather than just leave the house and not call back

We had an emergency service on a Sunday afternoon, and based on the reviews here, called Steve. He arrived an hour later and spent over an hour working on a crazy clog in a shower drain. I would totally recommend this company! Don't go anywhere to find any other plumber if you have an emergency. I called around 5:30 pm today due to an emergency problem. Most plumber would be off by that time. And if you go online to look for a plumber.. Sometimes it's not easy, they may not even respond ASAP.
My emergency: Refrigerator ice maker machine pipe leak. So the water was all over the kitchen floor. Basically my kitchen floor was flooded.  I call the company and all he asked was my problem and location. And within 2 hours. The company send tony to my house and fix the problem!

Tony was very knowledge and nice. The work that he did was shut off the mainline and cut off the broken pipe and reconnected the pipe to the frig. It's not too hard. Most handy man could probably do it. But to me it's something that I would not have knowledge with. So tony was perfect and honest!

As for price wise. I think it's on the higher end due to they are 24/7. T

But I would totally want them to come back again for my next job.

Our main sewer line backed up 2 days before Christmas. What's more we have a newborn in the house and desperately needed the plumbing to work! We first called a large chain, who came out and said they needed remove both our toilets in order to root the main sewer line (since our home did not have a cleanout). Since they could only do the job the next day, we called Steve for a second opinion.

Steve came out promptly and explained in great detail the plumbing of our house and why removing both toilets may not work, and why he recommended installing a cleanout instead. His price for installing a cleanout is not that much more than what the first chain quoted just for doing the rooting.  He and his assistant came out on Christmas Eve morning to install the cleanout. Everything was done professionally. We're so grateful to Steve for helping us so quickly during the holidays.

I had an emergency on Saturday night and I had to cut the water for the whole house. I couldn't wait until Monday without water at all. I called 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing and the plumber came same day. The breakage wasn't easily accessible, so once he was there, he didn't just repair a broken piece of pipe, he also replaced the other pipe that was very rusty too to avoid the same problem in the near future. Found a gas leak on Father's Day. Called ten different places on Angie's List and Yelp and nobody was available. Some claim emergency service but so far from being the truth: One guy just told me to turn off the gas and take a shower at the gym. I wish it would be that simple with wife and two little kids.

Finally I found 24Hr Drain Pro. Tony and Jose showed up within an hour. Showed them where the leak was and they went to work. After a quick discussion, they suggested the best but not the cheapest solution. It was a lot of work (a few hours) and it was totally worth it. One more thing: They kept the job site totally clean. Wonderful!

These guys came out at 10:00 at night on a weekend after our bathroom shower and toilet backed up. It was my first call as a new homeowner, and I was feeling kind of desperate about my situation.
Steve assessed the age of our pipes based off the age of our house and was able to install a cleanout for us the following Tuesday. He even found and repaired a large hole in the pipe running out to the street while installing the cleanout. The night of our call, he and his assistant unclogged our bathroom pipes in under an hour. They cleaned up after themselves and were very conscientious. I appreciated their efficiency and desire to give us all the information we needed about our plumbing. I will definitely be calling them for any plumbing issues in the future.

Our main sewer line backed up 2 days before Christmas. What's more we have a newborn in the house and desperately needed the plumbing to work! We first called a large chain, who came out and said they needed remove both our toilets in order to root the main sewer line (since our home did not have a cleanout). Since they could only do the job the next day, we called Steve for a second opinion.

Steve came out promptly and explained in great detail the plumbing of our house and why removing both toilets may not work, and why he recommended installing a cleanout instead. His price for installing a cleanout is not that much more than what the first chain quoted just for doing the rooting.  He and his assistant came out on Christmas Eve morning to install the cleanout. Everything was done professionally. We're so grateful to Steve for helping us so quickly during the holidays.

I had an emergency on Saturday night and I had to cut the water for the whole house. I couldn't wait until Monday without water at all. I called 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing and the plumber came same day. Our kitchen faucet had been leaking and causing flooding under our sink.  My father-in-law thought that he could fix it even though I had my doubts.  We determined that the faucet was old and needed to be replaced.  That was the easy part.  Doing the actual replacement was a different story.  My father-in-law came this morning with his tools and the good faith effort to try to replace it for us with my help.  However, we kept running into various snags and needing to run to Lowe's twice to find parts to do the job.  We started the job at 10 AM but by 2 PM, we couldn't go any further.  The problem was that things needed to be fixed ASAP since we had to turn off the water to the entire house in order to replace the valves.

We did a quick Yelp review and 24Hr Drain Pro popped up with excellent reviews.  The great news for us was that it was 24 hours.  I gave them a call in the hopes that they were available.  Luckily Stephen picked up and told us that they were available but not until about 5:30-6 PM (it was about 2:30 PM when I called).  I had wished it would be sooner but was just happy that they were available and willing to come out.  I gave them my phone number and we waited.  They said they would possibly be able to come earlier if they finished up their project faster.

Luckily I received a phone call not too long after with James telling me that they finished the job early and were available to come earlier.  I was thrilled since it meant that we could get moving and not be without water for too much longer.  They came right away as promised.  James came with a colleague (Jose) and together they did a fantastic job.  They were very courteous and professional.  When they arrived, they put on the shoe covers so that they wouldn't get the house dirty which is fantastic for us we have white carpet and very young kids.

I explained to them what my father-in-law had done and how we had to give up.  They took a look at the situation and quoted me a very reasonable price for the job.  When I agreed, they went to get their tools and started on the project.  It was a little harder for them to get the old faucet out but they had the right tools to eventually make it work.  Unfortunately once of the valves that we had bought wasn't the right one so they had to go out to buy one at the local Home Depot.  He told us the cost would be for the valve and travel would be extra.  I was okay with that.  They left and came back quickly.  James said that it was so close that he wasn't going to charge extra for the travel and only for the cost of the part.  I thought that was pretty nice of him.

Once they got the right part, the rest was relatively quick for them.  The whole thing may have taken a little over an hour and that was really only because they had to go to Home Depot to get the correct valve.  Once they were done with the install, they helped to clean things up so it was nice.  We were just happy to have running water again.  I did ask them about a problem I had with the dishwasher and without hesitation, he called in Jose again to help unclog one of the hoses that drains the dishwasher.  Again I thought that was very nice of him and he didn't charge me any extra for that.

James said he guaranteed their work for 2 years which was fantastic in case anything should happen.  If we have any issues with plumbing, I won't hesitate to call 24Hr Drain Pro Plumbing again!  I am a fully satisfied customer!

Was trying to shut off the water main and the valve seized up and couldn't re-open the valve so we were without water.  Steve was quick to respond and was able to give me a quote, which was more than I wanted to spend, but seemed very competitive to other quotes I got.  He was very professional and did a great job.  Would definitely contact Steve again if I ever have any other plumbing issues.

Fixed my bathroom drain. The tub drains really quickly now. He had a look at the sink drain as well and noticed it was damaged. The damage happened a long time again and hadn't been repaired properly. I got a new drain set for it and he came out the next week and installed it. Very happy with the service! On New Years Day, one of our bathtub faucets broke and so the bath kept overflowing. Our toilet started making strange noises at 10pm and we realized the drains in both bathrooms were all plugged.  We couldn't find anyone to come out right away until we called 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing.  Steve diagnosed the problem over the phone as a blockage in the main output to the sewer, which he could easily deal with if we had a clean out.  I wasn't sure, but asked him to come anyways.  He was at our place in 30 minutes - wearing a mask - and helped find the clean out.  Unfortunately, it looked like sealed in and he thought the cover may break while trying to open it.  He was able to get it open without too much trouble, and he was able to start working.  He was very polite and let me know what was going on. He also tried to keep the work as clean as possible.  In about an hour, it was all done and our drains were all working again.  It was not cheap, but it was such a relief to have the situation resolved so quickly and thoroughly.

I'm happy to be using my Elite status to support a single businessman so other people can get the same help I did. 24hr Drain Pro is a one man show run by Steve Kim. It's incredible that the service from Mr. Kim is 24 hours, 7-days a week... meaning he probably wakes up in the middle of the night to help clients.

24hr Drain Pro was the first option to appear on my Yelp search and while I'm usually pretty skeptical of businesses with almost perfect reviews, we decided to give it a shot anyway. Called around 12pm for a sewage issue and since there were multiple people who needed help on the same day, we got an ETA for 3pm. Of course, there were understandable delays (he came around 4pm) but we were given multiple heads up for when he would be arriving.

Mr. Kim arrived with a partner and was extremely polite. After a quick 10 minutes inspecting the issue, working on the problem, and giving us clear explanation about why the sewage waste line was clogged (from tree roots... apparently very very common), we were fixed and reassured with a 30-day warranty for any other problems.

Oh, and remember to mention Yelp for 10% off service.

Super responsive on a Sunday morning. Had the shower back up and start filling up with some pretty gross water. Called, he answered right away, and said he'd be here in an hour. The water kept coming, so I called him again and he said he would step it up. Got here, assessed the situation, and had a guy on the roof snaking the line. Boom, problem solved. Highly recommend. Not cheap, but worth every penny when it's that or having gross water spilling out on your floor on a Sunday morning.

24hr Drain Pro succeeded when the 3 previous plumbers could not unclog the tub!  Call them first and avoid all the extra work with calling companies, scheduling appointments with the ones that give free estimates, and then finding out that they want to charge you for trying to unclog your drain.
The phone was answered when I called and the appointment to come out was made for the next morning (a Saturday).  The techs (James and his partner) showed up on time and gave an honest assessment. They didn't try to sell me on a charge to snake the line and you pay whether we're successful or not.  I only wanted to pay for a guaranteed solution.
James offered a free inspection to go underneath/crawl space of the house.  One of the other plumbers wanted about $400 just to inspect underneath!  James and partner climbed down there and found the tub drain line and U-trap in a bad state of corrosion and it was evident that there was water leakage on the ground.  He recommended a drain pipe replacement which will fix the leak and the clog line.  This clog became a big job but I felt it was fairly quoted for a 4 hour job with a 2 man crew.  They came back in the afternoon (after a previously scheduled job and picking up parts) that day and finished the drain pipe replacement.  I'm a satisfied customer and happily recommend 24hr Drain Pro.  You know the feeling of relief when your plumbing disaster gets resolved.  Thank you 24hr Drain Pro!

I called today (Saturday) and Mr Kim was out here within an hour and unclogged the kitchen sink drain right away. He also caulked the handheld sprayer for me (which was loose).  Very nice, calm, got straight to work and the young man with him was very polite and efficient.

Called him based on these Yelp reviews, glad I did.  I have some other non-urgent plumbing work that needs to be done, and I'll be calling him to do that as well.

Very responsive & Top quality. Everything - I mean literally everything - was done less than 48hrs, over the weekend, and I am not sure how it could have been done without him. From water backing up on late Friday night, meeting for the first time around midnight, breaking ground and replacing the whole 30ft underground sewer pipe on Saturday, and by Sunday evening everything was complete (including leveling the ground and cleaning up the yard). He has a good team who are willing to go the extra miles to get things done the right way. Highly recommended.

I had my bathtub drain burst and leak into the floor below - what a mess! I tried a number of plumbing companies, but they were all too busy (some even too busy to answer my call). 24hr drain pro not only answered my call, but also was able to come out the same day. I read their glowing reviews on Yelp and thought I would give them a try. When Paul and Susie first arrived, they were kind enough to leave their shoes at the door (I 'm tired of contractors just walking up and down my house with dirty shoes :( ) +1 star!

They took a look at my tub and immediately said it was the gasket - they left to buy a new one and were back within the hour. All said and done they were out in a jiffy. They were a little expensive, but it was totally worth it. The next morning, once all the stuff had dried, I tested it out and it worked just fine! No Leak!

Called at 8:30am (they were the only ones who answered the phone as well.. others went into VM), and the problem (a plugged toilet and shower drain) was solved an hour after they came (ends up being roots had grown into the waste line).

The plumber who came was quite friendly, explained everything to my wife well and took no time to diagnose the issue. Not only that, but they charged a decent price.

I would use them again for sure. They'll be my preferred plumber from now on.

We had a plumbing issue on Sunday morning and called multiple plumbers to have them come for an assessment. 24 Pro was extremely responsive and polite. He helped assess the situation quickly over the phone and gave us an eta on when they could come out (which was a 1 hr window)

Turns out my neighbor had a plumbing issues too. They had called another plumbing company earlier this morning. I called 24 Pro and told them we do not need their service. After they were done with their current job, they followed up with us again to make sure we were ok.

We had an unfortunate pooptacular at the Hunter home this morning and these guys were amazing. They were at our house in 40 minutes and had everything fixed in under 2 hours for a reasonable price. We had tree roots break into our pipes and cause an ugly back-up. I'll likely call them in a panic when we need it snaked again or - if I wasn't such a procrastinator - have them come install a clean-out since (surprise!) we don't seem to have one. They helped make adulting much, much less painful which is really all I can ask.

I called in and Tony was out at our place in around 30 minutes. Our bathroom sinks are back to back, so we were quoted a higher price initially because it is apparently harder to get a snake down a T-shaped drain, but because we were return customers Tony said Mr. Kim would give us their standard quoted price for a normal sink (the price we had paid in the past). Got a reason for not showing up way later on the .... Morning. It is a real reason and it happens. But hours of trying to find buckets, filling (trying to conserve what water we can save and reuse) and dumping water (because no more room), and way into the night, it gets tiring. Called 24 Hr Drain Pro about 6:20 on the day after Christmas because of a clogged kitchen sink I could was unable to clear myself.  They were at my house before 7 pm and had the drain cleaned by snake from the roof vent by 7:10 pm.  The price was reasonable for the quick service house call ~$200.  Definitely below what Rescue Rooter charged for a different drain problem the year below.

I will call 24hr Drain Pro the next time I have a plumbing problem.

Easter day and both bathrooms clogged at our place. We called Steve by 3:30 and he gave us time that he will be there by 4:30, 4:32 - he was there! He looked at all possibilities to do it with minimal damage, including climbing up on the roof , sticked to the price he quoted on phone , and did great job and he was quick! I called the office and got a plumber within 45 minutes.  The plumber fixed the sewage clogging issues the first time and had to return a few weeks later for the same issues.  The plumber resolved the issues on my side and discovered the city end of the pipe may have other issues, such as tree roots obstruction.  So I called Sunnyvale Utility office and got a plumber to come inspect its pipe.  It turned out my plumber was absolutely correct.  Problem solved!  Plus the person who answered my calls along with the plumber himself were so friendly and professional.

Called 24 hour plumbing at 1 am on Jan 22. No answer, and a voicemail box full default message. Sent a message through Yelp.

Never received a message back, and it's now Jan 27. Other Yelp companies I sent the message to followed up the next day to ask if I still needed help.

On the Saturday night, the night before Easter, our kitchen sink clogged.  Usually we can get it working agin with the plunger, but not this time.  So I called 24HR Drain Pro at 8pm on Saturday night and he answered the phone!  I was impressed by that!  I told him about our sink and asked if he could fix it that night and approximately how much it would cost.  He asked me a few questions then was able to give me an estimate and was at my house an hour later.  He fixed the clogged drain for less than the estimate and was very professional.  We will use 24HR Drain Pro again!  I highly recommend them.  Good service, fair price and nice.

Had a major emergency last night with water spewing out of a downstairs shower drain and water covering the floor. Tech (Mr. Kim?) was here within 30 minutes and found the problem quickly (old, rusty, too-small main sewer line that was completely clogged). Problem was rapidly corrected and explained clearly. We had a water leak in one of our bathrooms: water was coming out of the wall in the bathroom below. We had to turn off the main water valve of the house and thus needed someone urgently to fix this. They offered me an appointment within an hour; since we were out for the day, we asked them to come at 5pm instead. They came at 5.45pm, without informing us of the delay or apologizing. That's really the only reason why I don't give five stars. They found the issue quickly, fixed it and charged a reasonable rate. I would definitely call them again for future repairs.

Had a backup with the main drain, toilet bubbling and water gushing out the overflow drain.  Tony was here within a couple of hours (thank goodness).  Something different I found out was that out plumbers have gone to the roof and used a snake but he went to the area of the blockage and cleaned it out there.  PLUS  he cleaned up the spillage that had occurred earlier.  I have called this company before when I had a blockage with a garbage disposal and all I can say is that they are fantastic.  They are friendly and explain what's happening and the price is really great.  It's particularly fantastic also when they get the crew out the same day and they actually answer the phones PROMPTLY.  A fantastic way to do business.

Had an emergency floor drain back up during middle of the business day at my business.  Called others but Steve was the only one that responded and promised to be here at 4:30 pm.  Did his due diligence by asking for a picture of the problem, quoted a reasonable price, and texted me when he was heading over more than 30 minutes ahead of schedule!
Once he came, the job was done swiftly, although he took time to explain why he couldn't use the larger snake to clean out the pipe since I don't have an accessible clean out.  Suggested that eventually I cut into the wall to place a clean out so that he can clean the drain even better to prevent future back-ups, but made ZERO attempts to push the service, just recommended that I do it when the back up happens next time.  I am not going to take that chance so I will most likely have him come in to do the work early in January (he even apologized that he has to go out of town to be with his sick mother for 10 days and couldn't do the job sooner).
He collected the fee he quoted not a cent more.  Basically a Godsend that saved my business for the rest of the month, now he is definitely my only go-to plumber and I recommend him to anyone that have plumbing needs!!

Amazing service, quick, professional and a fair price. Our kitchen drain became completely plugged around 4:00PM on a Friday afternoon. A quick call to Steve at their office and Tony was promptly dispatched in the worst possible commute time traffic to get our kitchen back in working order. Called 24hr drain for a backed up kitchen and laundry line. My call was answered and I was told someone would be at my house in 30 minutes. We'll they lied, they were there in 20. Kim looked at my problem and confirmed my suspicion. Within 15 minutes the line was snaked and cleared. Very happy with the fast service that was provided. Was it slightly more expensive than other places? Maybe, but it was well worth it considering the super fast response. You can't go wrong.

This plumber did pick up the phone when I called on a Sunday evening. I expected to need to leave a voicemail so it was nice to get a person on the line right away. He said he'd come the next morning around 9:30 to clear a clogged drain in my kitchen. When 9:30 came and went without him showing up, I called him again and he seemed to completely have forgotten that we talked the evening before. He came around 10:30 or so though, and I saved them some time with clearing the area out under the sink and laying down plastic and towels. The main plumber and his assistant cleared the drain for $275, which seemed a little steep, but this drain had been really clogged so I didn't argue. But they left one of my plastic Tupperware boxes that I leave under the sink just in case of leaks, full of smelly sledge. I didn't appreciate having to empty that out in the sewer and washing it myself. They should have used their own container at the very least.
Overall the work seemed to be done well but the customer service could have been better.

Placed a call about my bathroom backing up, and after the call going to VM I quickly received a call back.  I told him what was going on and was told someone would be out in 45 mins.  Around 30 mins later a person strolls up to the door, doesn't knock, ring the bell or say hi.  I wouldn't have known he was even there if I hadn't been in the living room.
I show him to the loo and a second person walks up and I show him back too.  They stand there five seconds then ask if I own or rent, and if the owner approves of his being there.  Once he learns I'm renting he starts saying that our pipes are connected to our neighbors' line and says that it's gonna be a big job, there's no clean out accessible and he needs to look at my neighbors' lines.  Mind you, they haven't even looked at the sink, toilet or the shower;  I then tell them that my neighbor isn't home but if you want to go to her side of the duplex, fine.  
They return after one minute, and he tells me they talked to my neighbor.  She wasn't even home, so who the hell did he talk to?!  
Then he says it's gonna be a huge job that'll need permits and they'll have to dig up concrete blah blah blah.  I said nope, thanks anyways.
The only good thing about this guy is that they came quick and I didn't get charged for the nothing they did.

Our sewer line was completely blocked on the Saturday between Christmas and New Year's Eve. There was no answer from the first plumber we called. The second plumber wanted a very inflated price, but couldn't  come out until the next day. Our third call was to 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing and Steve answered the phone immediately, even though he was 2500 miles away on vacation in Hawaii. He said he could have someone out within 90 minutes. Exactly 90 minutes later James arrived, and within 20 minutes the sewer line was cleared. James even came back the next day at no extra charge with his colleague, Javier, with a camera to check for possible blockages further out towards the main city sewer line. Steve, James and Javier were very professional, efficient, and courteous. The price was more than reasonable considering it was a holiday weekend when most businesses were shut down, and I couldn't be happier with their quick response and help for a serious problem. I would call them again for future plumbing needs, and will definitely recommend 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing to our friends.

I called on  Saturday with a major backup we have that is known to us due to roots in the system. Could barely understand the guy and he refused to give quotes over the phone. BEWARE OF A PLUMBER WHO WILL NOT GIVE A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE FOR SIMPLE DRAIN ROOTING! I used Tony's services before and they were great but they do not work on the weekends. Here's a summary of why 24hr Drain Pro (Steve) is the best of the best in terms of quality, honesty, and service for your plumbing needs, which is usually in an emergency (like me):

1. Only real 24 hour service. (Plumbing needs are usually emergencies and don't happen 9am-5pm.)
2. Only plumber that I found that operates on the weekends.
3. Honest pricing and quoting that is upfront before service starts. (I checked on prices from other plumbers)
4. Always responsive and will answer phone or call back, even on a job.
5. Honest with his work and came back to fix a few things.

I have 1 bathroom in our house with 3 occupants and one day, on a Friday night, the toilet decided to overflow and flood the house. Water was also coming out of the tub as well! I tried to fix it myself and used a plunger and chemicals that seemed to help but after my second test, it overflowed again creating another mess. We cleaned it all up and stopped using the bathroom. The next morning we had to use the bathroom at Target and then I researched plumbers on Saturday morning. Called over 7 which were all closed. No help at all. Steve at 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing is the only one that answered my call. He was in the middle of a job (still answered his phone) and gave me an ETA of a few hours due to him having a few jobs ahead of mine. Of course the sooner the better but when he is the only one servicing plumbing issues on the weekend, you have to be patient. He arrived in the afternoon/evening and immediately knew about the piping infrastructure just by looking at the house. +25pts bonus. Walking him through what happened his diagnosis was: TREE ROOTS!

So we have 2 options. 1. was to find the clean out and snake the pipes which would be way easier and cheaper or 2. remove the toilet and snake from that opening, which is more labor intensive. We now know we do not have a clean out location for our main pipes (4 pipes vs 2). Steve gave us a quote and said we can definitely think it over and compare prices. He said he would still come back if we called. We approved the work and Steve worked to unclog the pipe, which had a massive root inside. Everything was back to normal and our bladders and colons were relieved - literally and figuratively.

On the weekday, I eventually called other plumbers to get pricing on how much that would have cost so I can check on the pricing that I paid. They were all in line with what I paid 24hr Drain Pro.

Fast forward to this past weekend on Saturday (30 days later). Our toilet was slowing down and eventually backed up again. How can we not think that roots grow back? This time we stopped using water immediately so we didn't have a huge mess to clean up. We called Steve again. Everything happened just like the first time with him answering the phone and giving us an ETA based on the jobs he had in front of ours. When he arrived he automatically knew the issue and so did we. We knew the drill so he helped us clear the issue the second time and gave us a discount (extremely reasonable) as it was the same issue. We also poured some tree root killer down the pipes while the toilet was removed so it would kill the roots. We will have to do this occasionally from now on. I am grateful to have found this small business plumbing company that Steve owns. I always support small local businesses and it's a no brainer when the service, price, and results are 5 stars. I wouldn't know why I or anyone wouldn't use him.

*** To treat tree roots, you will either have to dig up the pipes and replace them and cut the roots out, which Steve can do all of that for you. Tree roots will not stop growing as our poo and pee + the water are feeding this monster. Super fertilized! You should also pour tree root killer down your toilet from time to time to prevent this or kill the roots. You can search for these products online or at your local hardware store.

The day before we put our house on the market, the plumbing backed up from all the crap the painters and house cleaners were putting down the drain. We called 24hr Drain Pro and they came out within a couple hours and worked hard to fix the mess. Unfortunately the problem was not within the house plumbing but that special area between the city drain and the house which they couldn't clear out. Regardless, they worked hard to fix the issue and replaced the wax seal on a toilet that was affected in the backup. Great guys - fast response. Exactly what you need when plumbing is being difficult.

He pulled up the toilet to check for a leak and did not properly seal the toilet.  Didn't fix the leak. Toilet was moving around.  Still charged us $195.  We had to call another Plummer who did a great job fixing his mistake.

Steve came out on extremely short notice Saturday night. Main sewer line was clogged and backing up into the shower. He fixed what another plumber did not. He was very thorough and made sure the drain was clear before he left. I'm so happy to have found Steve and him being on call. My elderly parents were having a problem with their toilets. Finding a nearby plumbing service that was open on weekends was an issue, so I ended up calling 24Hr Drain Pro. I spoke to Steve and they were at the house within 2 hrs. James was very nice and explained to my sister what needed to be done. He even drew a picture to help her understand. The following weekend the shower drains started backing up, so again we called on them. Owner, Steve did not show up so he sent Tony who spoke with person who opened the door and is NOT the homeowner.  Tony never spoke with or called the homeowner.  Tony charged $300 to replace a shower head and connecting pipe!  I had used 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing last year, but this was the first time this snake, Tony, arrived and charged this outrageous fee because labor, parts and raining outside.  I sent a text to owner, Steve who never bothered replying to my text message and ignored my questions!  NEVER call this business !  BE WARNED !BEWARE !

Finally - a plumbing service that is prompt, professional and does quality work.  These guys were great.  

I just called them to deal with a leaky stop valve and faucet.  I took it as far as I was able before calling a plumber.  Had called another (nationally known) plumbing service that charged me $150 for 20 mins work and then didn't even fix the problem.  

Then I called 24Hr Drain Pro.  They were able to send someone in 25 mins (weekday). They assessed the problem and provided a solution and estimate.  I had them go ahead.  The fix required opening a wall, re-piping and replacing stop valves.  It was made more complicated by some expensive tile work near the valves.  The plumbers worked carefully without damaging the tile - even though it would take them longer to do so.  They completed the job (took a while due to tight space and pipe re-routing that was needed) and then thoroughly cleaned up after themselves.

Wish I had called these guys first.  I won't hesitate to use them for any future plumbing jobs.

This plumber is great!!  My kitchen sink was plugged and I have a full house for the summer.  Initially, I called a different plumbing service,  but they couldn't handle the job.  You can read my review in Marti's Plumbing section.  I called 24hr drain Pro Plumbing on a Saturday @ noon.  Steve, the owner himself came out with an associate, Jose, within 15 minutes of me calling them.  By 1 PM, I was back in business. We couldn't find a plumber that was opened on Sundays and also able to come within the hour but Steve Kim was able to show up at our doorsteps within 30 mins from the time we called him!  He was respectful to take his shoes off and helped us and our neighbor who we shared the kitchen drain pump with fix our backed up kitchen sink. Yelp comes through again. I was on edge given the amount of reviews but I wanted someone local with a high rating. I called Mr. Kim and within 30 minutes he was at my house, I didn't even have to tell him the issue he just asked for my address. Once they arrived I told them what our issue was and had some stuff on the side I asked them to look at. They were done in under an hour for a faucet and garbage disposal change. I thought it would be hard to get someone before Thanksgiving but 24hr Drain Pro came through and now I don't have to move my Thanksgiving plans.

Called them and was able to get a same day appointment for fixing a leaking toilet.  I had tried to change the flapper myself but did not seem to work.  They came right on time and found out that they way I had installed was not correct.  They tweaked it a bit to fix the leak and did not charge me for their time.

Wow! We spent 2 hours today trying to clear a bathroom sink drain. After removing the trap, we still couldn't clear it. Thanks to Yelp, we found 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing.  I called at 1PM, and Steve Kim and Jose got here about 2:30.  He quoted a price of $175 and got started.  They first checked the exterior clean-out, which was clear.  They then started snaking out the drain from the bathroom wall.  After 10 minutes they found and cleared the blockage. In total, it took about 1 hour.

With the addition of a new P trap, the final price was only $200.

I highly recommend 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing for any plumbing need..

First of all he answered his phone!  Steve set up a time that worked for me and turned up on time, with his assistant.  He gave me an estimate over the phone (it was a blocked kitchen drain) on a Friday afternoon, the thought of going into a weekend with no sink horrified me.  But everything was good less than an hours work, he had to replace something which I too could see was broken.  Good service, on time and reasonably priced.  Thanks to Yelpers I found Steve, good reliable plumbers are hard to find.  My other guy wouldn't have been able to have come out till Monday.  So I'm happy I found Steve through Yelp.

Steve Kim is the owner. He is honest and very knowledgeable. He thought things through as I explained all three toilets were clogged/ draining slowly and I thought it was a blocked main sewer line. He told me about 2 options. To make a long story short, his young associate came and he dug very deep in search of the pipe. We found the missing drain out orifice by pleasant surprise in the area we dug. He snaked it and explained about some future issues down the road with roots about 25 feet down the front yard toward the street. We discussed future plans to fix that. He wasn't pushy.
I asked him how much it was today and he was very surprisingly candid and fair with the price since it was less work than he originally planned.  Honesty!
And to top it off. I called him on a Sunday. He came in within 45 minutes. I might have been the first to call at 9:40am....but that was cool. Highly recommend him and his company for the South Bay!

We were so happy Mr. Kim answered the phone on Friday night as we had a flooded garage and couldn't locate the area where the water had come from. It also smelled like sewage. James Kim came with his team and they located a major plumbing problem with our old pipes hooked up to the sink and dishwasher. They filmed the ancient pipes with a camera phone. It was very evident we needed  repair. Luckily we only were without a sink as the bathroom/shower plumbing was not affected. James and his team returned Sunday morning and were so polite and professional. Carefully placing a protective runner from our front door to the closet with the underground trap door. The team also wore booties to protect the hardwood flooring. They communicated frequently, showed us the disgusting clogged and rusted bad pipe, and then repaired everything.  The work came with a 10 year warranty. We highly recommend 24 hr Drain Pro Plumbing. Fast, effective, and very professional.

Just called these guys today based on the recommendations here.  He promised to be here in 2.5 hours, and arrived early.  Took care of the problem, cleaned up and left.  I found his price reasonable for the job.

I don't always call a plumber... but when I do, I prefer Steve Kim.

Next time I need service I won't hesitate to call him.

My kitchen faucet was leaking profusely and required me to get a new faucet. I called these guys for help when I realized I was in over my head when trying to figure out how to disassemble an old faucet and replace it with a new touchless faucet. When I called them in the evening, Steve responded right away and checked his schedule to see when he can come out. He showed up in the morning the next day as promised, assessed the situation but called another skilled technician to come in an hour later. The new technicians came in and worked efficiently together, being very thorough and double checking their work. When they were finished, the cleaned up and tested to make sure that I was satisfied. It was a good experience and the believe that their pricing was quoted fairly.

My garbage disposal had been clogged for a few days. I called this company and was able to schedule an appointment for later on in the afternoon. Steve came by earlier, about 15 minutes before our scheduled time, and fixed my drain within 10 minutes or less! Mr. Kim was fantastic! I noticed I had a leak from my pipes at 3am. First thing in the morning (7am), I called Mr. Kim. He answered right away and said he could at my house before 9am. Mr. Kim came right on time. Mr. Kim and Jose both arrived and assessed the leak completely. Jose took pictures and showed me the leak and how he was going to fix it. Mr. Kim was extremely courteous, social and gave me a very reasonable quote. Both Jose and Mr. Kim were extremely efficient and completed the work before 12pm. I was quite satisfied and relieved that  the problem was resolved so quickly. Hopefully, the repair was a success (only time will tell). But for now, I give Mr. Kim and Jose my highest recommendation and would gladly use their services again.

This review is specifically for their customer service. I had an urgent need of a plumber on a holiday, and they came out within 45 minutes. They fixed the problem, or so we thought. It turned out to be a temporary fix, due to the fact that the problem was much more complicated than we had realized.  When we informed the owner of our dissatisfaction over the situation, he offered a full refund on his work, which was as much as I could have asked for. Therefore I give them 5 stars for how they treat their customers (and the fact that they at least got us out of our immediate crisis).

Late Friday night (11:30pm), we found out that our main sewer line front the house to the street was clogged. I called 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing. They said they would be out to my house in 45 minutes. They were here in less then 30 minutes. I think it was Steve who cleared the sewer line within minutes. I used 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing in the past. They have been very professional and easy to work with, especially for coming out late at night. I will call them in the future when I need a drain or any plumbing problem solved.

Called today, a Sunday, at noon because my plumbing was all backed up and nothing was draining.  We had a big party and who knows what was flushed down the toilet and our pipes are old.  We didn't get his name, but a plumber came right out, fix the problem in short order and was surprisingly reasonable rate for short notice on a Sunday.  We are very happy.

We had just had our main line snaked 4 days ago when it was clogged again. Tried calling Arroyo, who did the snaking, and no response (it was after hours on a Saturday, but they say 24hr service on their website). Called 24 hour drain pro on Sunday morning at 8 and they arrived by 9am. We had them install a clean out line. Their estimate was $600 less than Arroyo. They said it would be done by 2pm. It was done by noon! I will be calling them for any future plumbing problems.

**Update** Our inspection was passed without issue and we won't need to replace our pipes. It stands to reason that different cities in our area will have varying requirements with regard to the size of gas piping and I imagine the issue here was simply the result of erring on the side of caution, though this could have cost me thousands of dollars. I'd recommend that anyone looking for a plumber discuss with their plumber whether their recommendations are taking into consideration the requirements of their specific city. I've left my rating of Drain Pro at four stars because of the outstanding follow up and communication despite the fact we didn't hire them for the job. *****

I called 24hr Drain Pro to come out and take a look at my water heater, which was leaking into my garage. The first person who arrived stated that the unit would need replacing, and gave me a quote to replace it with a new 40 gallon unit. I mentioned that we wanted to replace it with a tankless unit and he said installation would be more expensive, which wasn't a surprise to me. Another person from Drain Pro arrived shortly afterward (I believe it was the owner of the company) and told me that I would need to replace my 3/4 line with 1 1/2 line and that this would cost around $6500 (this was notably higher than what the first person had thought). I spoke with several other plumbers who all stated that our 3/4 line should be sufficient and I ended up hiring one of them to install my tankless water heater. He did an excellent job.

After posting my initial review, I received a courteous and informative message via Yelp from Drain Pro detailing all that is involved in installing a tankless water heater and why larger gas lines may be necessary. Had this information been explained to me when they were at my home giving me their quote, I may have hired them.

I would like to note that there are a variety of brands of tankless water heaters that use different BTU's of gas. The unit we had installed (with the other company) requires lower BTU's than many other brands (though it is also has good consumer ratings), but Drain Pro recommended a different brand of tankless water heater that they like. I'm not aware of how many BTU's are required for that brand, so perhaps the BTU's are higher and require a larger line? We should have also discussed options for tankless units and how the different BTU's needed for different brands of tankless water heaters would impact the gas pipe sizing requirements.

In sum, my only big issue with Drain Pro was lack of information given to me. They seemed to try to discourage me from switching to a tankless unit because of the expense so it's possible that they thought I might change my mind and thus didn't give me all the details about tankless installation. I tried to explain that we had already made the decision to replace our old unit with a tankless unit, but I think they really did think we would reconsider given the cost.

I intend to update my review next week after the city does their inspection (*see above).

You can't go wrong with 24 HR Drain Master! We've had a couple of plumbing emergencies and they were prompt, professional, and got the job done at a reasonable cost. When we wanted to take care of some leaks due to the drought we called them and again, prompt, professional, and very reasonable in cost. I can't imagine calling anyone else first before 24 HR Drain Master. I highly recommend and can't say enough good things about the organization.

We had water leak in bathroom. Not much. Just drops. We wanted to fix it at Saturday 11/21 when our usual plumber did not work. We have chosen the company by rating on Yelp. It was 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing. A  plumber that came at 9am estimated work at $1700 saying that he should cut wall from opposite side so from closet side.  And he told that needs almost whole day for this work. We were amazing and denied. On Monday our usual professional plumber made it for 1.5 hours including buying vent in Home Depot. For reasonable payment.

Service was ok, they eventually fixed the leak, even if he had to try twice, rather than doing the proper way (seal) directly. The plumber was polite. They came fast. Globally fair service and there is a price for that. But $350 for an hour job is abusing the situation to me. Next time I'll take the time to request for a quote.

After no response from an HOA, I checked Yelp & found this company on a Saturday afternoon. Within 45 minutes Steve was looking at my issue. He gave me an estimate; I said Fine.

He was like posted-friendly, professional & clean. In about an hour I had my
kitchen sink back! I wasn't able to print the 10% coupon & forgot to mention it,
but considering the short notice & fast resonse I didn't mind paying the price.
You need a good plumber?? Call 24hr Drain Pro. I don't think you'll be unhappy!

Started well enough- they came quickly on the weekend when my shower was backing up, but went downhill from there. They were condescending, rude, and laughed at me when I told them what others had said, then as they were fixing it I walked into the house to find water flowing from the toilet down my hall, which is hardwood, and is now warped, ruined and will need to be replaced. The guy, Tony, laughed again and said that is totally normal. If it is totally normal, they should have disclosed that before. I could have at least padded the area with towels which would have mitigated the damage. This company clearly does business to get in and out as soon as they can. Don't call them if you care about your house.

10:30 on Friday night I nonchalantly poured 1/4 cup of Xanthan Gum down the drain.  Did you know Xanthan Gum expands approximately 1,000 times?  Well now I know, too!  On adding water, the powder expanded fast and completely filled our drain pipe for some six feet.  The consistency was mashed potatoes.  A quick online search revealed that I would never, ever get this out by myself.  I recall the word insoluble making my cry for a second.  The tears were partly for the articles explaining why one should never, ever eat Xanthan gum which I'd cooked with plenty of times.  Great, it didn't kill me so now it's after my sink.

Roto-Rooter 24-Hr Plumber had a next available time slot of 12 hours later.  So I called Drain Master.  He said, I'll send someone right over! 45 minutes later, here he was, wearing his uniform and carrying his tools!  He showed me a well-worn page from his binder stating the prices.  It would be $225 to remove the p-trap.  

He bailed out the sink with a bowl and a bucket; then removed the p-trap (U shaped part of the pipe.  A bucket full of gelatinous water gushed out, and then, I saw the pipe filled completely full with the evil Xanthan Gum (which should come with a warning label, don't you think?).  He cut off the pipe about 2 feet down the way.  Still full.  He snaked the pipe when it turned 90º straight down.  That's when he reached open pipe.

He replaced part of the pipe that was cut, put it all back together, tested it out and at 12:55 a.m. declared the job done.  He told me that replacing part of the pipe cost $75 additional.  I paid him $300 for fixing my insoluble mess in the dark of night.

I am very satisfied with the job and am now on a mission letting everyone know that Xanthan gum can be removed from your sink, but it means cutting the devilish clog out, pipe and all.  And, don't eat it!

Called 5:30 PM mid week about an exterior pipe gushing water.  Two people came within 30 minutes and fixed what turned out to be a very minor problem.  They showed me where it was so I could fix it myself next time and asked for *too low* a fee (how often do you get to say that?!).  So I added a few dollars and now keep their number for future plumbing issues.

I can't say enough good things about these guys.  I called, and they showed up immediately.  I had previously called another very highly rated plumbing & drain service to look at 3 separate problems in my house.  Those particular guys wanted to charge me $1000 to fix all 3 problems -- they stated my faucet problem was in the faucet, and wanted to charge me $300 for a new faucet and $200 to install it, for example -- none of which was true.  By contrast, 24 hr Drain Pro showed up right after I called, CORRECTLY and HONESTLY diagnosed all 3 of my problems, and charged me $150 to fix them.  They were in and out in 25 minutes, I have an extra $850 in my pocket.

After failing to receive any response from other companies, Steve from 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing picked up the phone as soon as I dialed. He told me that he would send someone to my by 1:30pm. before noon time, Steve called again, and told me they could be at my house even earlier. I called at noon Saturday, he said he would be there between 1 and 2 - he was there at 1:30. We had a major back-up, Steve tried roof cleanout, warned that it might not work and said it would cost 450, it did not work, so he had to go get a helper to dig up our lawn , install clean out. Took about 6 hours. He applied the 450 to the 1730 price. He is honest, and the lawn was left clean and neat, with the grass put back in place. He even gave my mom a senior discount when she asked. We are very pleased with his work!

Awful. First time ever writing a review on Yelp. I was compelled because they are the worst. They were supposed to be at our house at 8:00 AM and 5 hours later they still haven't shown up. Mr. Kim was prompt to my service call and fast to fix it! He came out to my condo at 10:30pm, an hour after I called him. Our toilet was backed up because of a small plastic bottle that got flushed down the toilet. He stayed awhile after he was able to retrieve the bottle from the piping to double and triple make sure that things were working fine by making multiple flushes with wads of toilet paper. It was nice that he stayed to really check to make sure everything would flush fine. Again, he was so responsive and fast! (I did call 2 other plumbing companies  beforehand and they were booked until late the next day. So Mr. Kim really saved our night and now I know to call him FIRST!) First my shower was draining very slowly.  I used a snake on this, which seemed to solve the shower problem but.....my washing machine started pouring water all over the floor behind it where the standpipe is connected to a drain hose, and then sludgy water magically appeared in my kitchen sink.  I searched on Yelp for someone who would take calls in the evening, as it was already mid-evening when this happened.  24 Drain Pro Plumbing had good reviews, and I am very happy that I chose this company.  Steve Kim was willing to come very late in the evening, but after I cleaned up the pond in my kitchen/laundry area, I called him back and said it could wait until morning.  He came promptly in the morning and did a very efficient job of clearing the clogged secondary cleanout.  He even moved my washer and dryer back into place.  I highly recommend him.  He is pleasant, prompt and efficient.  You will be very happy with his service!

We had a emergency due to the main sewer line getting backed up at our home on Saturday night.  We called 24hr Drain Pro and they showed up in about an hour.  Tony was very knowledgeable and friendly.  Based on the situation he determined that the main line was clogged.  He was able to clear the line fairly quickly.  Our old house does not have a clean out.  So clearing the line was a little more difficult.  We plan on using them to add a clean out.  Highly recommend.  Great work and a nice guy.  Thanks Tony!

I gave this company a good rating in 2014 but there is something seriously wrong now. First warning sign was when they said they charged by the job and not by the hour. I had a kitchen faucet to put in and a toilet flapper to be replaced. When the guy showed up I asked him how long it would take and he said about an hour and a half but that the estimate was $380 since he charged by the job. Plus he said he'd probably have to go buy a new flapper (the toilet is a very common brand). I said $250/hour was twice what I'd ever paid and sent him on his way. I called another rated Yelp plumber, Greg Lane, who arrive for the appt. a few minutes early(!), charged $225 total for 1:45 which included new hoses for the faucet and dishwasher, a new flapper, and snaking another toilet that was a bit slow.

So, I just saw a message from 4 months ago in my inbox from the manager of 24hr Drain. It is a pretty long message that in short doesn't take any accountability and tries to play it off as a misunderstanding. At the end he even asked me why I called back the second time if I was unhappy the first like it's my fault. Seriously...?! He goes to great lengths explaining how they would starve to death if they charged the price that I got the work done for -- like the work was done by some unlicensed plumber (and he would know because he worked at many competitors). First, this company was not even honest about the work and time required to fix the problem. The work was completed in less than an hour for BOTH jobs -- in fact the job that Mr. Kim was extremely laborious and would require several hours was done in 10 minutes. In no world does even an hour of plumbing labor cost $600. The only people starving are the people you are robbing blind. Oh and btw, the unlicensed unqualified plumber I got for the job is The Drain King. I'm sure this guy knows who they are.

I hope this review steers people away from a business that is consistently dishonest, unethical and manipulative. In addition to that they take no accountability for their actions. Do you want to hire people who aren't accountable and don't take responsibility for anything? Trust is paramount in repair work; developing a relationship with the wrong people can be catastrophic in the long run.

The drain line got clogged, no standard homeowner actions, such as plunger and drain removals, worked. I called some plumbers and they all were busy. Friday evening at 5:30PM my kitchen drain clogged and my waste disposal kept spraying dirty water all over the sink.  The sink filled with water and more water came into the sink when my upstairs neighbor used there disposal.  I called 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing.  Someone was at my place in less than an hour.  They fixed it(plugged drain pipe deep in wall).  They cleaned up and they were gone.  What more can you ask or expect in good service.  I will definitely call them again for any plumbing problems I encounter.

These guys are awesome! I noticed that I had two (maybe three) leaking shutoff valves under various bathroom sinks as well as a leak in a shower valve. I called them at 9:30am on a Saturday morning, got voicemail, and got a call back about 5 minutes later. They gave me a window of noon-1pm. At 12:20 Tony drove up. He looked at my shower valve and told me it would be too hard to fix (requiring destruction of a wall) and it wasn't hurting anything, so just leave it. We decided it would be smartest to replace all four bathroom valves, since the fourth was likely to fail soon as well. Tony didn't have that many valves with him, so he drove to the store to buy parts (no charge for this time). Total charge for time and materials was $400, which I thought was very reasonable. On his way out, I mentioned that I had a slowly draining sink as well. Even though he had many other appointments to get to, he stayed around to fix my drain, which required multiple attempts with a snake cable. This cost another $120. Total cost to fix everything in two hours on a Saturday afternoon: $520. Tony was also very polite and neat, insisting on wearing booties in the house. I will gladly use them again.

I was so grateful to have Steve and his crew willing to come deal with my clogged sewer line on a Sunday. It turned out the whole line needed to be replaced (I could see it was rotten and leaking), and he got his guys out immediately and they dug up the entire trench and installed a new pipe together with a new cleanout that will allow us easy snake access in the future. The price seemed very reasonable for the amount of work and they were cheerful and polite and punctual. They even put the fence back together that they'd had to remove for the work. My shower stall in the upstairs bathroom leaked down to the kitchen and dinning area below. I called 24 Hour Drain Pro. Steve was not able to come come out that evening due do shortage of staff. Early next morning James and another crew member came out and were able to pinpoint  a leak in the shower head . Fixed it AT NO CHARGE. They were very polite, honnest and professional . I am so thankful and will from now on know who to call when I or my friends or family members need plumbing works. Thank you so much guys.

I called with a minor emergency with water spraying in the front yard and the main shut-off valve at the house failed. I had to turn the water off at the meter. Steve and Jose rearranged their schedule to get to me in less than an hour and put in a new main shut-off and hose bib in 45 minutes. And at a reasonable price as it was getting late in the day and an emergency call. I'd have these guys back in an instant if anything else comes up.

They came to our house last week to unclog the drain from the roof. They were quick and efficient. But, they broke our roof and gutter. They didn't bother to mention it. But, I noticed the other day. I called The owner. He promised to come over today and see the problem. No call and no Steve.

Our kitchen sink was draining very slowly.  Called them and they came out within 30 min.  Steve and Jose worked on the drain.  Snaked it and used pressure water to clear the drain pipes from outside.  Paid $150, reasonable price.  Gave me a few tips to keep the pipes clean too. Quick service.  Clean and friendly. Definitely would call again.

On 1/2/2016 at 10:00 pm (a Saturday, holiday weekend) we were unable to use our toilets or run water in the sink because sewage would back up into our bath tubs. I called 6 different plumbing services that claimed to be 24 hour.  24hr Drain Pro Plumbing was the only one who called me back. He contacted me at 8:15 am on 1/3/2016 (Sunday) and said he would be there in 45 minutes.  He arrived promptly at 9 am.  He was very knowledgeable and professional and was able to fix the issue in 2 hours (there were a few unforeseen complications due to the nature of the house's plumbing).  The cost was reasonable, especially for a Sunday on a holiday weekend. I will contact them again for any future plumbing needs.

These guys were great!  I was installing a new washing machine when a pipe behind the drywall broke when removing the old hoses.  I called 24hr Drain Pro, and they told me they would be at my house within about 90 minutes.  They actually arrived in about an hour.  The plumbers were easy to communicate with, polite, and knowledgeable.  This was a pretty complicated job, involving cutting through the drywall, cutting off pipe, soldering in new copper pipe and brass valves.  They were finished within 90 minutes, and even installed and tested my new washer at no charge!

I am a single woman and the first time they came out, I had a male here with me. They fixed a broken pipe and the price was very reasonable. So  I decided to use them again. I had a few leaks I wanted fixed that I had been putting off for some time. When they came out here the second time it was just me. I could tell when they were just trying to screw me over. I got that vibe right away. The estimates were outrageous. I had them fix 1 of the 3 things I needed just to get it over with because to me it looked like a harder thing to do. But when he was done in less than 10 mins I knew I had been screwed over. The got me good on that one and I paid way too much. But I learned my lesson. I just think it's ridiculous that they purposely scammed me. Shame on me though and I won't ever do that again. But companies should at least try to be helpful so that you go back to them again and recommend them. I'll never recommend them to anyone.

Steve Kim is professional, experienced and very considerate. For this job, he was in and out. He even had green shoe covers to make sure that your floor does not get dirty. I highly recommend Mr Kim and would definitely call him again.

very no nonsense and straightforward, totally.open, honest, and upfront about all the charges and what work will be done.  i'm glad i found these guys on yelp!  i saw they had a lot of legit good reviews, so i called them right up.  i had a broken drain pipe.  they found the problem and explained it to me.  then they fixed it fast.  i highly recommend them especially since plumbers this professional are kind of hard to find these days.

Awesome service!  I had called two plumbers and didn't even get a return call - this company sent two men out immediately, went under the house to diagnose the problem, (a leaky toilet with water ending up under our bedroom rug) and fixed it on the spot for a reasonable price. Excellent, flexible!!! I had flooded floor due to broken washer. I thought at first that the drainage was plugged. I called them around 4:30and they came at 5:30and saved me. I highly recommend this service !!!

My shower in the 3rd bathroom back flow with doing laundry every year and requires rotor root. I use different plumbers previously with good results. My house was built in 1956 with partial updated plumbing . Eight months ago I called 24 hours drain pro and they rotor root it and it works fine....so this time I called Steve from 24 hours drain pro, because I had a good experience with the company. This time Steve's nephew, James came out with Jose, they rotor root and got resistance, so James scoped it with a camera and noted the 2 inch diameter pipe had narrowed to 50% or more, causing a funnel affect.  He went down to the crawl  space noted some of the previous plumbing were sub par and was not graded for optimal drainage and some of the pipe was rotting away. Long story short he replaced the rotted pipes and created separate drainage for the shower and kitchen/laundry... also replaced shower strain and p -trap without additional cost. All pipes work was strap and secured properly. I went down in the crawl space myself to inspect the work... 2 thumbs up! water flows like a well orchestrated symphony. They were happy with their work and so was I. I will definitely use them for any plumbing needs in the future!

Tony to the rescue! We had a disaster - flushed toilet and it came up in the bathtub, and then the toilets overflowed. Argh. Got on yelp, and called plumbers in order. Number 1 and 2 said first available appt is Monday - yeah, like I'm going to wait a whole weekend without toilets! So dialed 24 hr Drain Pro Plumbing, and I couldn't believe it when the man who answered said, What is your address? I gave it to him. It was 4pm Friday. He said someone would be there by 6pm. But in 20 minutes, Tony was at my door! He inspected the toilets and bathtub, and then got his ladder and tools out. He climbed up on my roof and snaked the entire house sewer lines. And in a short time, we were flushing toilets and everything was doing what it was supposed to! Tony was friendly, quick, efficient, and knowledgeable about plumbing and pipes. Explained some things to my senior Mom, and even spoke to her in Japanese (he speaks English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese!). So 24hr Drain Pro Plumbing will be the ones we call in plumbing emergencies, and recommend to our neighbors too!

I came home from a long and stressful trip to find that the plunger knob in my bathroom tank didn't work.  I called a number of alleged 24/7 services, to find that nobody had any plumbers available this evening.  One outfit, Roto Rooter, told me that they could come over but that there would be an evening call charge of around $250 per hour, one hour minimum, plus parts.  Outrageous! I just lucked out and got this service right away, and the gentlemen -- Tony and an assistant, came over within around 45 minutes of my call.  They fixed my problem even though they didn't have the parts handy and had to go to the local Home Depot -- and charged way less than I had anticipated, certainly nowhere near what Roto Rooter quoted!  The gentlemen were also very polite, very helpful, showed me what was done, and I am absolutely delighted to have lucked into this service.  I would most highly recommend this outfit to anyone, especially anyone who is in a bind.  Thank you, Tony and assistant, and thank you 24 Hr Drain Pro Plumbing, for your work!

How does this man stay in business? I really think he should charge more. He could have charged us just about anything since a main drain blockage was causing all but one of our toilets to back up into all of our bathtubs. He came out within a few hours of us calling (well before the time he gave us) on the day after Thanksgiving. A regular auger couldn't get though the blockage, so he was back with heavier equipment bright and early the next morning. After trying to approach the issue from the cleanouts with no success he ended up removing a toilet upstairs and using a serious rooter to finally clear the clog. All in all he performed a miracle in a couple of hours. We were braced for the bill and my jaw dropped when I heard the total. My husband told him it wasn't nearly enough and added another 25%. Still seems much too low. Needless to say we have a plumber for life and will recommend him to everyone -- even if they don't ask!

i called these guys last weekend after my other favorite plumber got overbooked. i had hired someone (incompetent handyman) to do some finishing work in my kitchen & they told me they'd install my new faucet & garbage disposal. the other guys came twice & it still leaked! Called these guys and they came within 45 mins on a Saturday! Of course they fixed what the ridiculous handyman cheaped out on fixture-wise. I was happy, until today. Ran the garbage disposal and ended up with another wet floor. Called these guys again & he came out & replaced a worn out washer, for free! no charge-yay! was there for less than 15 mins! I'm very pleased with their promptness, neatness and great work! thanks!
