If I could give negative stars that would be better assessment, salesman came out, gave good answers, seemed like a nice deal. We had dealt with Universal at our last home in another state, so we had good idea of what was coming, but... that was there. Thomas was the salesman, spoke and played a good game, claimed to be the sales manager, So I can give you the best deal without a bunch of run around, all sounded good, even were looking to add to our solar equipment. Then it took a southern turn... the bank called to verify, the numbers weren't close... what was a 25 yr loan, was now 27, what was a payment under 200 was now close to 300, what was a 7.99 rate, was now an 8.24, what was a 6-8 week lead time was now 20-22 week... so.. no trust in anything said and I called and cancelled anything to do with a bait and switch type company like this one. But it gets better..... He calls me back to try to make it better, leaves me a message that he and his manager, Eugene ((?).. thought he was the manager) would like to fix this, against my better judgement and only to please my wife, I decide to listen... mistake again, .. they call (both on the line)and I can barely get a word in as to questions or concerns or try to say anything ... they explain how I didn't hear right, How the bank didn't speak right, how it's not their fault for any of this had anything to do with anything they said or did, and I hung up on them again, they were probably talking for another 10 minutes before they even realized I wasn't there. Another funny thing... My wife received a text from the same number Eugene called me on, claiming to be the sales manager for the region, her name was Gina... they have a lot of managers!! too bad no truth or honesty... use ANYONE else, we're going to.
