After our usual plumber let us down several times I took to Yelp and found Somers Plumbers.  Its a huge challenge when you are reaching out trying to find a decent person to work in your home.   Someone that doesn't just pull down the first $ number that comes to their head and someone that you can trust to be there when they say and do what you ask.

I am really happy to have been able to find Dave Somers.  Dave is a truly knowledgeable plumber coming from over 16 years working for someone else, Dave now turned his experience over to becoming an ROC Licensed Plumber and business owner recently

He was quick to respond back to questions and rough pricing through Yelp, his communication skills through text/Yelp & phone are fantastic.  I always knew where I stood with Dave.

I set Dave up with 5 different faucet replacements which included new drain/plugs and a challenging hands free kitchen faucet.  Dave came through perfect on everything.  If I didn't have the right part, he had the parts on hand or knew where to get them.   He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.  

I am already figuring out his next project.

Leaks, water softeners, RO, faucets, drains, toilets.  Dave does them all.

Dave did an excellent job replacing all my sewer lines inside my house, as well as installing all my fixtures and new bathtub.

Great experience!  He is hands-on with his own company - he understood and knew what he was getting into before he arrived but still asked questions before he did anything.  Always nice having someone with experience.  Confirmed we didn't have a recirculating pump before cutting off the water, etc.  Dave explained what he was going to do, got us the matching 1/4-turn piece (which others charged more for) and knocked the job out.  He charged what he said he would charge and I am happy (my wife is happy).  Good price and I would rather tip because of a good job then agree to the highest and hope.  
I will use him again for future jobs and recommend to my friends and clients.

Dave within a couple days and was able to rebuild our custom copper fixture that needed replaced to do a slow leak! Really nice and accommodating as well!

We needed a new faucet and under-mount sink installed. Somers Plumbers was the only reply that would at least look at installing an under-mount sink and after inspection gave us a very competitive quote. Dave came out the next day and installed the sink and faucet in no time and everything has been working great.

We will definitely use Somers Plumbers again for any of our plumbing needs.

He communicated when he would be arriving and to explained everything that needs to be done and very fair pricing the repairs were done. Had a great experience with Dave, cannot thank him enough. I had somewhat of an emergency with the pressure regulator valve and due to a cancellation, Dave was able to fit me in same day. Very knowledgeable and price was fair. I definitely plan to use this company again for a future project that Dave was able to quote me for during the visit.

Dave came in and fixed the broken valves for our washing machine and on top of that fixed our leaky shower. Dave went above and beyond as he was only going to change the trim kit for the shower but he ended replacing the shower valve due to a leak. He stuck around and finished the job and then cleaned everything up. I would not hesitate to use Somers Plumbers again.

Dave came out to the house within 10-15 minutes after I called him on Saturday after seeing water in my garage. He quickly figured out it was a drain pipe in my upstairs bathroom. He had to come back another day for fix it after flood company dried everything and removed vanity. Everything was fixed and his prices were more than reasonable. Also, great communication

It is very hard to find honest and reliable tradesmen not looking to nickle and dime you for every small thing. I asked to evaluate a job for me and diagnose a potential leak. He did his work and was patient and informative.  He could have easily and rightly so charged me for his time or made stuff up to get paid, but instead was conscientious and honest. Don't should not hesitate to call him for your plumbing needs.

I needed two faucets replaced. Dave was good in communicating price, appointment time, etc. He arrived on time, did a great job. Price was reasonable.

Dave was quick to respond to my inquiry on Yelp, quick to get to my house same day, quick to do repair and price was more than reasonable! What more can I ask for??? Trust this one!

Let me preface this review by stating I am not a plumber, but am probably in the 99th percentile of homeowner's who will tackle projects themselves. I have plumbed a bathroom, replaced every faucet/sink in my house, added a garage sink, repaired my roof, installed new floors, landscaped the yard, installed an irrigation system, etc. etc. We had a clog in our main drain I discovered around midnight last night. I tried to snake it myself for about an hour, but with nothing to show for it with my 15 ft snake. Removed both toilets and tried from our washout, but couldn't get it. Enough about me.

Dave came out in less than an hour from when I first contacted him, charged an incredible price, and fixed the issue in about 45 mins. I won't mention what he was able to pull out of the drain line, but his customer service is excellent and quality of his work was outstanding. I have some scar tissue from getting gouged by plumbers in the past, and feel confident going to Dave for any and all future plumbing needs! He is a one man show, so you don't have to deal with a scheduler or multiple field folks. Save his contact info. 10/10 recommend Dave!

Dave did a great job of replacing our old, cracked, leaking disposer. He tested the new system a number of times and discovered a leak, which he repaired. He kept testing and looking to make sure that everything was in perfect condition before he left, even carefully removing overflow putty that I couldn't see until he cleaned it out. I was so pleased with his excellent work and friendly manner, explaining what he was doing at each step. If we have any future plumbing needs, I will gladly call Somers Plumbing to take care of us. Dave Somers is without a doubt one of the hardest working, most professional tradesmen in his industry. He answered the phone - on a Sunday - and came out to diagnose the problem on a hot Sunday afternoon. Because the supply trade houses were closed on Sunday, and because Dave already had a client job booked for Monday, we had to wait until Tuesday for the parts and repair. Dave showed up on time, as promised - and was able to fix the problem without replacing the unit (sewage ejector pump). This allowed us to order a better quality unit that should last even longer than the one we were going to install. It's hard to find a plumber tradesmen you can trust - one with integrity, and the desire to work while responding quickly and communicating throughout the process. Look no further - Dave is your guy.
