We chose Yavapai Landscaping upon the recommendation of our neighbors.  We had a large L-shaped lot which did not lend itself to an easy design.  Despite that, Ted Ferris, the business manager and a true visionary, developed a beautiful design within a few days and he incorporated every specific request I had made, e.g., artificial turf and a small pool for our dog, planting areas and a gazebo oriented toward a lovely view of Glassford Hill.  The masterful design included infrastructure to handle water runoff, irrigation, landscape lighting, beautiful handmade trellises and an extraordinary water feature.
    Once we had approved the design, Mr. Ferris put his team to work immediately under the supervision of Hugo Sandoval, and what a pleasure it was to watch their team working together seamlessly.  They worked tirelessly, placing huge heavy boulders and landscape rock and plantings exactly where Mr. Ferris had indicated, often working from sunrise to after sunset.  Candidly I had never seen a team work so hard yet at the same time so efficiently and in such harmony.  They were completely reliable, meticulous and perfectionists in every aspect of their work.
    We could not be happier with the result and would give Mr. Ferris, Mr. Sandoval and Yavapai Landscaping our very highest recommendation.

This is a second review. The first was 2 stars due to issues with the construction issues and delays and no follow-up to my calls, Emails and a registered letter.  After posting reviews in several sites I was contacted and the owner,  one of his supervisors and an office person came to my home to address my issues.  They admitted that they had failed to follow-up and had missed my communications. They agreed to fix the issues I had.
Last Friday they came to my home and fixed my patio problems.  The paver patio and stairs are now as contracted. We love our backyard.  I would have given them 5 stars except for the communication snafu.

We recently had our backyard landscaping done by Yavapai Landscaping.  Simply Awesome!! ... We could NOT be more pleased.  It came out even better than we had anticipated.  Ted Ferris provided outstanding guidance and suggestions throughout the process.  Yavapai did all of the coordination to obtain HOA approval for the design.  Made it so easy.

After our initial plan had been worked in the backyard, we were so satisfied, that we decided to include some add-ons in the front yard.  We have to say that Ted Ferris' crew, led by Hugo, is the hardest working landscaping crew that we have ever seen ... working sunrise to sunset.  Dustin was exceptional in coordinating the gas line upgrade work (with UniSource and also City inspectors), plus handling a few other project tasks.

Several of our neighbors were so impressed with Yavapai Landscaping's work that they also chose Yavapai Landscaping.  If you are in the market for any landscaping project, we highly recommend Yavapai.  In our experience, it gets NO better!!

From the initial design and planning stages working with Ted to the final installation with Cesar and his crew everything turned out fantastic! Ted was very patient with us even when we kept changing design plans and together we came up with a beautiful yard! Ted and his crew did a wonderful job landscaping my new home in Prescott.  The workers arrived at 7:00 every day and worked until the sun went down.  
They even cleaned up after themselves daily.  Prices may be slightly higher than most but you get what you pay for.  Quality was excellent.  I have had numerous compliments on my yard and I am very pleased with the final results.  I would highly recommend this company.  You won't be disappointed.

Ted Ferris from Yavapai Landscaping has great vision that exceeds expectation.   He had great suggestions for my pavers that surround my home and my driveway.   The pavers are so beautiful that everyone who sees them are in awe.
His team of skilled installers are the best.    Their work is so precise, I wish the did flooring!  They take care of your property and the clean up afterwards is great.    They leave you with a beautiful new outdoor look for your home.

Yavapai Landscaping met and exceeded our expectations. The end result was exceptional, the crews kept the job clean at the end of each day, the work was completed in a timely manner and ultimately, the value for the quality was outstanding! Ted Ferris, the PM, and Cesar, the foreman were nimble to changes we made during the work. We may be biased, but we believe our landscaping outshines the landscaping in our neighborhood of excellent landscaping.

Ted's Yavapai crew installed all our initial front and back landscaping last June. An issue recently developed with a young tree needing reinforcing. When Ted became aware of the issue, he sent Caesar to correct the problem on the same day. Thanks to all
