I have been a Certified Arborist since 1997 and a Certified Tree Worker a year later. I have been to the Shade Tree Conference for the first time in 1977 with my uncle John and they are now called ISA or the International Society of Arboriculture

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Chris Sartain is a 3rd generation Arborist, with 35 years of experience in the field, I have worked no where else! I have only ever worked in the Tree Care Industry Full time since 1976 until today.

My father and another brother went into Line Clearing (clearing power lines) so my father could stay in town with his new family.

My father moved to Los Angeles and started his own company in 1963. Chris then became his foreman at the age of 17 in 1976. We worked together for 14 years, until moving his family to Phoenix Arizona in 1991. I then started my own company, Expedient Tree Care. I love Tree Work, Saving Trees is what I enjoy most besides Family and Church.

The Majority of my customer base are 12-14 & 18 yrs as my clients. You must find an Certified Arborist and if you do Hang on to him/her! We are latterly Tree Doctors!

If there were minus stars I would check those. The owner Nathaniel is an arrogant man who does not keep his word. Last June, his crew was sent out and did an unprofessional job without knowledge of proper pruning techniques. They also chopped off 5' Lilac bushes that were beautiful and ones my mother had planted many years ago. When I called to make him aware of that and many other unfinished issues, he said he would have new Lilac bushes planted. He failed to do that and when I recently confronted him regarding that, he said he wouldn't follow through. Can't trust this company or their expertise or lack of. I spent $4600 on the job and am terribly dissatisfied.

We bought a side X side from Yavapai Landscaping and they hid the fact that the side X side is a salvage vehicle. This is how dishonest this company is. I would not trust them for anything if this is how they do business.

If I could give negative stars I would. There should be other options, seriously. I am going to only include the most serious documented violation (there are so many problems). Two gas line extensions were installed under a paver patio. No permits (obviously not inspected) were completed. Three weeks of constant badgering by Yavapai for full payment but no response on unsatisfactory workmanship issues. (Balance owed was 10% of contract). Gas could have potentially been shut off to entire home for weeks. Thankfully because the line they tapped into was separate, this was avoided. But I cannot use my BBQ indefinitely.

The entire paver patio will need to be removed so the gas lines can be inspected and pressure tested.

As previously mentioned, only one of many, many problems. I will update as additional issues are verified by the contractors board and ROC.
