Have been using Dr. Chem-Dry for many years.  Punctuality was a problem this visit on April 21st, but Zeke and Paige were so delightful that all was forgiven after receiving an appropriate reduction in price due to them showing up more than three hours after the latest time specified in the appointment.  (They came from a job that required five hours' work - more than planned.)  
It would have been helpful for the dispatcher to call with a heads-up on the delay rather that my having to call twice.

I called Dr. chem dry in Scottsdale Arizona, and was very specific about my upholstery cleaning. I mentioned about being misled with pricing and reading reviews, and they assured me all would be taken care of. After having to schedule a second time due to a conflict they came out and weren't even close to the price range. The supervisor Jerrell was super unhelpful, and their company was extremely dishonest. The coupons are not honored nor are the prices they quote you. Super disappointed and dissatisfied.

My carpets needed a good cleaning due to a little furry one peeing in every room. I was able to schedule someone to come look at them and to have my carpets cleaned within a reasonable time. My carpets look amazing! I was told if after the first cleaning it seemed like the smell was bad it would be redone complimentary. I notified the company a few days later that my carpet was smelling and they were cleaned again. I no longer see any stains nor does it smell!! I will be recommending this company to all of my friends. The service is great!

Dan came out and did great work. I appreciated him doing test areas and coming out on a holiday.

My advice is get a written estimate BEFORE they do the work.  The over-the-phone estimate and $200-$250 based on what we told them we wanted done.  Our carpets were dirty and we do have a dog.  However, once they had completed the work, they told us it was $595.    Yes, they did spot cleaning and there was dog hair, but triple the phone estimate is ridiculous.  They should have surveyed the project and given us a better estimate.  I understand the person on the phone cannot tell the conditions and circumstances of the actual job, but $200 vs $600 is way out of line.  That's why I say get and estimate from the technician BEFORE they begin work.  Get it in writing.

I just had Kody and Dale, representatives of Dr. Chem- Dry, carpet cleaning and tile cleaning at the house to clean and seal the bathroom tile and tile floor in the walk-in shower.
I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED!!!!
On time and called to let me know they were on the way, very clean, reasonable pricing and wore booties.

I've tried a lot of carpet cleaners over the years. And though most of them were ok. I really Loved Dr Chem dry.
 First of all, we got a Saturday appointment which is convenient for us.  Dan was our tech. He quoted me via email but offered to come out to give exact quote. I didn't want that. So he ballparked what he could till day of. When he arrived we walked thru the house. I showed him all areas that needed cleaned and one area that was stained from my pets.
He wrote up the price before starting work. It was close to the ballparked price.
 He did an amazing job. It really looks way better than I had hoped ( the pet area was my concern)  And one mystery stain was removed. Dan was friendly and helpful.
The best thing about Chem dry was the dry time. Completely dried in like 3 hours.
We will continue to use Dr chem dry, hopefully yearly .

The only thing I felt was overpriced was the price to clean area rugs.  Between $1- $2 a square ft. Which doesn't sound like much , but for an area rug 12x8. That's almost $100. These are cheap rugs that I only paid $100 to $150 for brand new. So $100 to clean them is excessive for us. I feel no more than $50 each would be fair. So keep that in mind if you have cheap area rugs that need cleaning.

In the past, I have added on the rugs to be cleaned for $15 to $25 each. So even $50 each, I would pay but seems pricey, IMO.

Not sure what's going on with their pricing maybe Covid 19. Had them out as I could not get a quote on the phone. They called as promised and showed up on time BUT!

I have a 9'6 x13' area rug. $367.00 to take to the shop and deep clean. $250.00 to clean the rug at my home. You have got to be kidding looks like price gouging no pets no stains just traffic from2 adults. The rug is 18 months old I'd buy a new rug before paying theses prices.

Two stars for calling and arriving on time. 0 stars for the price quote.

Thank you Zeke for cleaning our carpets today.  We are currently renting and needed a refresher before we move out on 7/31/2020.  Zeke was very friendly, knowlegeable and came in and got the job done in a timely manner.

I sought out Dr Chem Dry because I'd used their carpet cleaning service in the past and I loved the results. However, my most recent experience with the company was terrible! I scheduled my appt and asked the cost based on what I needed cleaned and was told they have to come out for a consult before I was given a price. I live in a one bedroom condo downtown and only needed to have my living room and dining room area cleaned which is a pretty small area not to mention there is furniture which decreases the area needing to be shampooed. Dan was my tech. The moment he walked in he stated the cost would be $96! I was baffled to say the least and expressed concern to him based on previous price points to have much bigger homes and condos cleaned with the same company. He stated that was the minimum price which no one told me when I spoke to their reps on 2-3 separate occasions when scheduling the appointment. As I calmly express my concern about the lack of communication regarding this minimum price Dan proceeded to say I was crazy thinking the price would be that cheap to clean such large areas. He also said are you done this is getting to be too much I just want to clean your carpet! I could have easily cursed him into next week, but I took a deep breath and expressed how terrible and unacceptable his behavior and attitude has been. He asked well what would you like me to say? I don't feel like I did anything wrong you have been upset. Again blaming the customer! I stated I was fine until you called me a liar and dismissed my concerns. I went on to share that I train create training programs for customer service professionals and there is no way he as a company rep should be escalating a matter when I, the customer was not fully informed of the pricing structure before he arrived. Even though I didn't talk to him he  should be apologetic and ask how I would like to proceed instead of telling me I have an attitude and essentially calling me a liar for saying I paid such a cheap price for larger spaces with their company. I allowed him to clean the carpet because that was my goal. As he began cleaning the carpet I immediately called the company and asked for the manager. Dan heard this and asked well did they apologize? I ignored his snide remark. Needless to say the manager never called me back which shows there is no cause or concern for fixing customer service concerns. I even waited an entire week before posting this comment. The service was completed on June 14th.  I will never use this company.

Manager called me shortly after seeing my review to apologize for the negative experience and tools steps to resolve my concern.

Wow wow wow Dr. Chem - Dry got my white shag area rug back to its original snow white color. I'll def use this company for all my future carpet cleaning needs. Thank YOU!

Hired Dr. Chem-Dry to clean three rooms of carpeting in our home including two stains. One of the stains was a dark grease stain and the other we were unsure of the origin.  Carpet looked pretty good when he left but once it dried it was apparent it stains had not been removed.  We phoned to see if they would come back and try again to remove the stain and the guy that cleaned the carpet originally seemed offended that we weren't happy with the result.  They agreed to return and try again all they accomplished was to spread the stain over a larger area.  A totally unpleasant experience.  We have now hired another company to help because of the difficult attitude of Dr Chem-Dry. We would recommend using someone else.

Recently moved into a new place and unfortunately the landlord was unable to have the condo cleaned before hand since we moved in immediately after the previous tenant moved out.

The only carpeting in our new home was simply in the stairwell from our entry to the main living space upstairs.

Having used Chem-Dry numerous times in the past at different homes, decided to try Dr Chem-Dry here in Scottsdale.

They were able to quickly schedule an appointment for which the technician arrived on time, quickly evaluated the ares to be cleaned and gave us a formal quote which was quite reasonable.

Because the carpets were heavily stained, we were not expecting them to come out as clean as they did.

As from previous uses of Chem-Dry, we were highly satisfied with the work and how quickly it was performed.

Due to issues with the carpeting, the stairs took longer to dry than we expected and had experienced in the past but were perfectly fine with it.

If you need carpets or tile cleaned (and resealed), Dr Chem-Dry is highly suggested.

Unfortunately, even after spending $3000, the stains have come back up through the carpet. Chem Dry came back once, but told me they weren't responsible, but they could make me a deal on retreating. After pushing a bit on the issue, the retreated a couple of the worst spots for free.

But now 3 month later the carpets look horrible again. I wish I had just gone with a cheaper option, or just changed out the carpet.

It makes me sick how much I paid for carpet cleaning that didn't last.

Jeremy just came out and cleaned my carpets and they look AMAZING!!! He took the time to get the stains out and was a true professional and a great guy to work with. Very highly recommended and this Chem-Dry business did good!!!

Wow!! My husband and I just purchased a new home and while it was clean, there's just always something about someone else's carpets, so we decided to get them cleaned since replacement isn't in the cards at this time. I was originally planning to go with a regular steamer until our realtor recommended Chem-Dry. Once I looked up the differences I was sold! I put in two online quotes with two different providers and Tacie (sorry if I'm spelling it incorrectly!) called me shorty after to explain all the current specials (we went with their current clean and sanitize promo), how the product works and what to expect and was so incredibly friendly. She set up a technician to come out within a couple days for an in home estimate. Dan was the man!! He arrived on time, gave me a 20 minute lead time call, and was realistic about what we could expect from the service considering the carpets did have considerable wear and tear in some spots. They were able to get us an appointment set up for the next day (yay!!) and same thing, when he showed up he was friendly, excited to work and got right in there! As he was wrapping up with the stairs he showed us the difference between the last two and the stairs above that had been cleaned and it was a HUGE difference! We walked the area before he left and it was such a relief to see the carpets rejuvenated and with some more life in them before we replace down the road. He was so thorough, professional and truly an embodiment of fantastic customer service. It was so awesome to work with someone who takes pride in their work and the company because I know from experience, when you have that combo, the outcome is unbeatable. From my first call with their office to the carpet I'm looking at right now, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat and I'll be calling on them in the future!

I hired these guys to clean my air ducts which they did well but then also added on some tile cleaning while they were there. In the house we purchased there was a nasty film in the master shower. Travis and Jorel went above and beyond to solve the issue of what would actually work to clean the tough build up and it looks beautiful. Super happy customer!

We had them clean our oriental rug. The brushed it so hard, even though they said they wouldn't. That a lot of the fibers were pulled. Also the rug was all crusty afterwards.
We hired them to polish our granite counters. All they did is put some kind of a waxy substance on them to make them all shiny. Needless to say that has all been rubbed off by now and it was a smudgy mess in the meantime.... Never again....

Excellent customer service and professionalism!  On time and took great care with our living room rug.  Dan's recommendations helped me to make the best decisions possible for an older rug.  I highly recommend this ChemDry!

Dr. Chem-Dry took on the hard job of cleaning my very old carpet & they wound up making it look brand new, something I thought was impossible. Actually, the entire interior looks much better -- a very dramatic before and after. Penny, Justin and Cody clearly explained all my options, then got to it. They also did my tile cleaning, i.e., refreshing the grout. i don't know how they could have done any better. Dr. Chem-Dry came on short notice, too. This particular Chem-Dry has been around for four decades, so they really know what they're doing. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and courteous -- punctual, too.

Travis did a great job cleaning, deodorizing and sealing my mom's furniture and rugs. There are no pet odors now, which is a big deal for a household with 4 male dogs who sometimes like to lift their legs.  Travis was able to get the rugs cleaned, deodorized and sealed at the Dr. ChemDry facility and return them in just 1 week (their usual turnaround is 2-3 weeks).  Nice, professional and diligent young man.

Horribly service tried getting a quote or just pricing. Through chat feature all they guy was doing was trying to get more personal information. Kept avoiding simple question of pricing.

Fantastic job! The job was done quickly, efficiently and I felt relieved to know that our new home was well taken care of. I will definitely call them again!

I've been using Dr. Chem Dry for many years on my white (!) carpets, and the service is consistently timely, reasonably priced, and very well done.

This company does a great job!  Our rugs look as good as new.  The team was polite and contentious.  We will absolutely use them again.

We are so very, very happy with Dr Chem-Dry service. Dan, our service gentleman was on time and was kind enough to text us about his arrival time. Our carpet is probably 20 years old, white in color and had not been cleaned in 3 years. Quite the challenge. Wow!! Awesome job!! Makes me happy just looking at the outcome. Will definitely use Dr Chem-Dry again and most likely get our floor tile and granite counter tops refreshed. Thank you again.

I was able to get a next-day appointment which was awesome. From the first call to them all the way to the cleaning, it was a very good experience. I have not had my tile floors professionally cleaned before, but used my own Hoover in the past and thought it might be nice to have a deep cleaning. These guys were really great, they helped move things around, and they were careful. They were very thorough and my tile and grout are spotless! I will definitely ask for Justin and Ron again when I'm ready to do the carpet. Thank you, excellent work!

Justin was great.  We just bought a home and wanted to have the floors cleaned before we moved in.  I had used Chem Dry at our previous house in WA so thought I would stick with Chem Dry here in AZ.  I could not believe how the travertine and carpet both looked like new when they were done.  They did an amazing job!  I won't have anyone else touch my floors in the future!

read what you are signing well. They do not honor their work. I had a room not fully done because they would not go behind furniture that was moved away from wall for that purpose. They also charge a lot for every thing needed.  This has been hands down the worse company I have ever wasted money on for carpet cleaning.

I went to their website to see how much they charge for carpet cleaning.  Nowhere on the site do they have prices listed.  They had a chat feature, so I used that.  It took 15 minutes of my time to be asked all kinds of irrelevent questions.  I just wanted my carpet cleaned.  I told him how many rooms I had etc.  He said someone would have to call me with a price.  I asked him why, don't they have set prices? He said someone would have to call me because the price can be different.  I asked him why?  It's just carpet, I don't have any stains, it's just basic cleaning.  He wouldn't give me a price.  I don't know why they have a CHAT feature? Just to say that can't give you any information?  Also, why are the prices different?  Is it different based on how the person feels that day? How many bills they have to pay that day?  I felt like that was very shady! Plus I felt like they wasted a lot of my time!

This is the second time I have used Chem Dry. Not only is this a superior product, but you will never find a technician who cares more for his work than Dan. He is on time, professional, courteous and does a GREAT job. I will never go with anyone else for carpet/ upholstery cleaning.

This is the third time I've used Dr Chem Dry and for good reason.  The techs (John/Zeke) were extremely polite, professional and efficient to complete the job in a very timely manner.  They do a great job of making sure that the walls don't get banged up and that nothing is disturbed.  I had several areas where the carpet was heavily soiled and everything they cleaned looks spotless!  This company is very easy to work with, has availability for fast service and doesn't use the hard sell.  I trust them and will continue to use them and recommend them in the future.

5 STAR rating plus!  This was our second time using Dr. Chem-Dry and without a doubt Dan provided superior service.  Dan is great- professional, thorough, and fast.  Tracy, the office gal was also excellent.

Our carpets were filthy,from pet accidents to having heavy traffic area.The carpets are older but I am extremely satisfied how nice and clean.When I called I spoke to Tracy and she was a big help.Dan came gave me the estimate for what I needed.I plan on using them for my tile floors and grout very soon.The work is professionally done.Than you.

Needed carpets cleaned in a jiffy. They were flexible and had an opening same day. Arrived on time, provided options and quote for service. Advisor/tech took pride in his work and tried his best to remove some stubborn spots. I already moved furniture, so not sure if it's something that they typically help with. Carpet is cleaner and I couldn't be happier. I've used this company a few years ago and will recommend.

This is the worse carpet cleaning service I hav ever paid for . As if the $500 charge for carpet cleaning wasn't enough the carpet ended up having a dark dirt tint to it. I do have to say they did a great job at removing the stains. The carpet looked dirty. We had them come back and clean the carpet all over again for a charge of $148 . Worse service . Ever .
