Hired this service to trim an out of control Mesquite tree in my yard.  They answered the phone immediately and came by in a few hours.  They were a little late, but sent a text to let me know so that was ok. The price he quoted was a lot more than we expected, but we wanted the tree trimmed ASAP and he was ready to do it right then. So we hired him for his price.  We had to leave before he was finished.  But we were pleasantly surprised when we returned home.  Tree was trimmed properly and the yard was left completely clean.  He even texted me a picture of his work before leaving our property.  He's a little pricey, but we got our money's worth.  Hire this company. You won't be disappointed.

Went through a few companies before we found Phillip's and they have  been  servicing my yard for a few months. I love how responsive Phillip is. This man wants our business aNd he wants to keep our business. I don't have to call out another team and wait
WEeks or even months to fix a leak that's costing me wasted water- he takes care of  it ASAP. There's a lot of choices, but this is the right one :)

Good work at a fair price. My only issue is that communication wasn't great. He never gave me a time when he would show up, so I never knew when to expect him. Communicated primarily through texting, and I sometimes wouldn't hear from him for a day or two. But he got the work done well and quickly, so it's a relatively minor complaint.

Had an estimate scheduled for 7am 2/22/20.  I was wondering when the appointment was scheduled because I knew there was rain coming in(the once a year rain) I didn't get a call saying he wouldn't be out.  I waited an hour then texted asking if they would be out.  He stated they were getting rain in chandler and he wouldn't be out.  I have no problem with him canceling and I understand it would have been hard to get the estimate done.  My problem is he didn't call me or let me know, if I didn't text him he probably would never have worried about it.  I contacted 4 others that scheduled around the rain.  It took me having to reach out to him for Phillip to tell me he wouldn't be out.  We are all busy and my time is just as valuable, I have 4 estimates to go off of all ranging from 13k-15k.  I will move forward with one of them.

Earlier this week I used the Yelp quotation system to fix a problem I could not fix though I tried hard yet even Phillips could not fix my immediate problem for my irrigation hose under ground terminated at the edge of the driveway. I did not have enough hose to twist and turn it to fit snugly and it still leaked after I fixed it. So checked back on my quoted and found SUPER PHILLIPS response.  His team came out and surveyed I did the best I could given the length of tubing I was working with and they suggested going under the driveway which I COULD NEVER HAD DONE BY MYSELF. So problem fixed within 48 hours at a reasonable competitive price given the NEW SCALE OF THE PROBLEM. I had to fix it if I was going to sell the house so now onto the next house touch up and fix up. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND CALLING AND USING PHILLIPS for your Landscaping work. When I get my new place I will call them and use them to inspect, diagnose and fix my future problems. They are professional, very very competitive while responding quickly and problems are fixed. Thank you Phillips Landscaping!!

Went above and beyond my expectations.  They did yard cleanup and maintenance. Will continue to use them and I highly recommend them.

Phillip was very polite and professional and did a wonderful job on our yards. Our yard was so over grew and leaves were everywhere. Our branches were touching the ground. By the time he was done, our yard looks brand new and weed free and well kept. I was impress! On top of that it was the same day service. I call him in the morning and by noon my yard was done.

I text him and he came out to my house for the quote. He was straightforward. It was not cheap but reasonable. But I really like the fact that he responded fast. Time is super important for me and he was able to do the job almost right after. I ask him to trim two queen palms and clean-up everything. He came with 3-4guys and did the job in couple of hours. Philip did the pretty good job cleaning up my yard. If u need clean-up service, go with him. You will like it.

I scheduled to have an estimate done to get some work done in my backyard on March 22, 2019. I was exchanging emails with an employee with the business and had an appointment set up for the next day before noon. The 23rd came and so did noon, no one showed up. There was no call or further emails. If you can not show up for an appointment probably won't show up for the actual job.

I engaged Phillips Landscaping for several landscaping jobs so far, including installing pavers, brand new irrigation system with PVC pipes and Wifi-controlled timer, planting several rose plants, installing and racking gravel as well as regular yard maintenance. Overall, I am very satisfied with the final 'package' that he offers. His prices are fair and job execution the very best among all landscaping contractors that I have seen till date. Scheduling might be a hassle some times since Felipe seems to be super busy, but he will work with you and provide reasonable alternatives.

I had sent out a bid on Yelp for a possible yard leak. They came out free of charge and checked it out for me. Turns out I didn't have a leak and they did not charge me at all. I will be using them in the future for any needs.

Amazing! I finally found a gardener that shows up on time and the day agreed upon, charges less than everyone else, was extremely efficient, and made my back yard look good again. Great company and would recommend them to anyone.

I cut my Sissoo tree in my front yard and he hauled all the branches. He even helped cut some of the branches as my pole saw started acting up.

Phillip reviewed my situation and made a fair offer.  His crew was out in a few days and after a few hours of work he had my house yard in great shape!!  
Since then I have had Phillip and his crew come out for every-two-week maintenance with great care to remove the weeds that the HOA loves to photograph for me?
Bottom Line:  Phillip is Fair priced, shows up on time as expected, Accomplishes an Excellent Service, and if there are any questions or something was missed Philip takes care of it hassle free!!!

My yard was way over grown and needed a lot of love. Also had them remove two trees. One 30ft palm was especially close to the neighbors walls. I was a little worried about the fence getting damaged, but these guys are pro's. They did an awesome job. Wow what a difference! I highly reccomend this company. They hauled off everything. Including some junk I needed gone. I will definitely use them again.

I was totally impressed! Phillip responded to my after 5pm request for a quote to clear out my daughter's back yard which had become overtaken with tough weeds like milkweeds following this winter's heavy rains. Phillip responded within 10mins and agreed to meet the next day to see the job so he could give me an accurate estimate.
He called the next morning to say he would be there I 30 mins, and he was.
Phillip was clean, polite, and professional. He gave me an estimate which was fair. When I accepted he said he could have a crew of 3 in 1 1/2 hrs. They would take care of my needs, including hauling the refuse away. The 3 associates were there in 11/2hrs just like Phillip said. They were efficient, thorough, quiet, and even sprayed the cleaned up patio and backyard with a spray to deter future weeds.

Phillip recently did some work to fix a drainage problem in our front yard. Great job. What I liked best about him is that he takes great pride in his work and made sure every step of the way that he and his crew were doing what we wanted. We had one slight issue after he had left.  I called him and he was back a couple of hours later to add one more fix. Highly recommend.

Very happy that Phillip's trimmed my grapefruit tree.  Phillip contacted me and came out quickly to give an estimate.  His crew came out when he said they would and did exactly what i asked for. In addition to a great job trimming my tree, they did an amazing  cleanup.  They got all of the trimmings and even blew out my driveway and carport.  The men that did the work were very efficient and pleasant.  I feel the fee was very reasonable given the great job they did.  I would call them again when i need work done.

I contacted Phillip's to clear some very thorny brush and yard trimmings from my back yard. He was quick to respond, arrived on time to see the project and had the yard cleared the next day. Total satisfaction!

Our backyard had become overgrown with weeds, both in the grass and rock areas. I tried to keep up, but it got to be way too much. I called Phillip based on the reviews here on Yelp. He was very quick to respond on a Thursday evening. Came out Friday to give me a quote and then brought back a crew and did the job that very day. They pulled the weeds out by the root too - not just a weedeater or spray job. The yard looks so much better! So glad I called him.

So happy with their work!!  Phillip's Landscaping just became our new, trusted professionals for our tricky landscape maintenance.  We have a lot of succulents and plants that need manual trimming, and often get away from us.  One area was really overgrown and they quickly got it into great shape - much better than we could have done.  We had a few sunken areas on our paver patio and they removed, filled with sand, and replaced the original pavers (now beautifully level), then added a fresh topping of sand to fill the cracks for the entire patio (much needed).  They clearly knew what they were doing (it's a tricky job).  We also had an older tree stump (not huge, but big enough) and wanted to plant a replacement and they did it all (it looks wonderful, they did a lovely job cleaning up after a very messy project).

It took a little bit of doing to arrange our first meeting via text messaging.  But I'm really glad I kept trying because it didn't take too long, and the price is very reasonable.  Plus I found someone I trust with our trickier landscape - they're great!!

In a short notice I was looking for a landscaper to clean up our backyard of overgrown weeds and grass. Phillip's Landscaping got back to me immediately. We were unable to coordinate a time on a Thursday or Friday to meet but he had offered to come to the house Saturday am. After moving into a new house, I contacted them on Thursday.  Phillip came out on Friday to give me quote and came back Saturday to do the work. Very happy with their service and reasonable prices.

Showed up on time.  Did a great job extending my cinderblock wall, installing a paver border, and hauling in and laying down gravel.  Reasonably priced.  Would hire again.

Be Careful!!!!   I needed some shrubs trimmed and my yard blown clean.  I had a guy come by my house and looked things over and said it was a $150 job.  I thought I would check Yelp for a highly rated Landscaper to get a quote and I chose Phillip's.  They told me they would be out Saturday.  They didn't make it and asked if they could come Monday.  They didn't make Monday and asked if they could come Tuesday.  Again on Tuesday they couldn't make it and asked if they could come Friday?  I said I have a quote of $150 and I think I should just use them.  Phillip said he was sorry and would match that price and would definitely be here on Friday.  On Friday he showed up, was obviously in a hurry and said he could only do the job for $500.  I could not believe this ridiculous price for a 1 - 2 hr job.  I had the original guy come out and he did the job in 1 1/2 hrs, charged $150, and did a great job.  Phillip was hoping I would just overpay after waiting so long.  No such luck.  Check your options.

Howard and his partner did a great job cutting back an Ash tree that needed a ton of help. It's been a few years since the work was performed  and our Ash tree is looking better now then it had 10 years ago. I also had a stump removed and the whole project was done neatly and quickly. Howard was very helpful in helping me decide what was best given our situation and did not try and lead me to additional costly services.

I would highly recommend Treewise to anyone looking for an honest recommendation and quality work at a fair price.

I have a very tall palm tree in the front yard and a small palm tree in the back, by a pool. Both had been ignored for a few years- and looked like it as well. When these palm trees get overgrown- they look like crap and send a bad message about your house.

I sent pics to Howard and got a quote from him right away. His quote was very reasonable, especially since they were overgrown. TreeWise scheduled a few days later, and did the work while I was away. Returning home and seeing the trees I was blown away by the work! The trees looked incredible and the area below was immaculate. Howard & TreeWise not only did a top notch job on the tree trimming- their attention to detail on the cleanup was way above and beyond.

To summarize- for all your tree care needs- call Howard & TreeWise. Don't put your home at risk by using some random fly-by-night company, or day labor company who aren't trained, licensed, or insured. You and your trees deserve better.

I called Howard out to give me an estimate to trim down some overgrown oleanders as well as trim and shape 2 very large Sissoo trees in my backyard.  Howard's response time was very fast compared to others who I had contacted.  His estimate proved to competitive with other offers as well.  

Howard did an amazing job trimming everything and did a great job cleaning up the yard afterwards.  I will absolutely be referring him to my family and friends, and will continue to use him in the future.

Filled out the online request for a quote and got a call and an estimate the next day. Guys came out the next day with a wood chipper and a large, storm-damaged palo verde tree was completely gone in an hour! This included stump grinding. They did it at almost half the price of my other estimate which was from another highly-rated Yelp reviewed tree service.

I highly recommend Treewise and I will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Have not used their services yet but was impressed by the honest and helpful response to my questions. In addition, he referred a different tree service who provides a service that they do not. I find in recent years many businesses are not interested in helping customers find what they need if it doesn't benefit them directly. I'm keeping these guys on my list to use when I can. Thank you for putting customer service high on your priority list. That's important and appreciated and will not be forgotten.

When I called for an estimate to cut 6 mature trees and trim the deadwood out of two mature citrus trees, Mike picked up the phone right away and made an appointment for Gary to come out the same day at 1pm. Gary was on-time, professional, and closely inspected the trees and gave me an on-the-spot written estimate that included a 5% discount for seniors. He confirmed that they take personal checks and by the next day he had scheduled the work. The cost was very reasonable and within my budget.
On the appointed day, a crew of 5 experienced tree trimmers showed up and finished the work in just 2 hours! This included a clean up of my property and the neighbors' properties where limbs and citrus fruit had fallen. What a load off of my mind.
After 3 months of trying find tree trimmers who would not be no shows or show up to inspect the trees and then never follow through with an estimate, this was a breath of fresh air. Woohoo!!!

I've got a large mesquite tree out front that needed a lot of work including crowning and trimming.  In the past, I've called the yard guys that always leave cards on my door or people I've found on Yelp as lawn care.  

Never again.

The difference in the quality of work between an actual arborist and these other yard guys is day and night.  Howard was friendly and professional.  Communication was excellent.  He stopped by and took a look at the tree and then emailed me a quote.  We accepted the quote and had him scheduled to come out the following week.  The job took several hours (as expected) but it was ALL done in one day, including a thorough clean up.  He checked with me before leaving to make sure that I was satisfied (I was) and then emailed me a receipt the next day.  

The only negative I could speak of was the sticker shock at the price I was quoted.  The other lawn guys were basically half the price (and half as good).  That being said, I would hire Howard again at the same price for this job anytime.

I had Howard of Treewise come over and give me an estimate of trimming a couple of trees at my house.  He was very professional and courteous as he described what he felt should be done to my trees.  Keep in mind that the trees really hadn't been trimmed  since 2005! I asked for proof of insurance and he said no problem and sent it to me.  His rates are real reasonable and he is very prompt in returning to perform the work.  After he was done, I could see how beautiful my trees really were!  They totally cleaned up my yard and it looked better than before they had come.  

I definitely recommend Treewise for any tree service.

So, after waiting 1-2 days, I called (602) 492-2432 and got their voicemail. I left my callback # and a short message.

And now, 4 days later... nothing... still no response.

Treewise either has too much business to handle or terrible customer service. Either way, we've moved on and hired someone else. I'll advise friends, family, coworkers, etc. to avoid Treewise and call another company--one that actually follows up with potential customers.

I needed to cut off 2 branches of a tall tree (15 feet) from the neighbor's backyard. I first called the Harris & Sons Tree Specialist company, but they did not pick up the phone as usual (I had to call them a couple of times in my last experience). So I called Treewise and someone answered my call right away.
They came on the appointment date and got the job done very well. No damage to the fence under the branches. What I liked most was that they cleaned up all the falling leaves on the ground when they left.

We recently bought a home that has 9 trees in the back and side yard.  They were getting bigger than we'd like and some had branches resting on our roof.  After looking at the reviews on Yelp, we called Howard to come and give us an estimate.   He missed our initial appointment, but came out the next afternoon.  

Never having to have trees professionally trimmed before, we didn't know what price range to expect.  We were pleasantly surprised with Howard's estimate, and we were very comfortable with his tree knowledge, so we scheduled him to come and do the work.  

All of our trees were trimmed neatly and the clean up job that Treewise did was awesome!  When I came home from work I didn't find any branches or leaves anywhere on the ground.   The price he charged was exactly what he estimated for the job.  We will definitely be using Treewise again in the future!

Used TreeWise to remove a couple of large Mesquite trees. They came out the day after I called for an estimate and then we scheduled removal for two days later. Morning of the job the crew showed up promptly and removed both trees very professionally. Great company to work with.

Howard Hansen did an AMAZING job trimming back a grouping of Mediterranean Fan Palms. They were pretty much all you could see in our front yard... and behind them hid two beautiful rose bushes and a bed of flowers. Now that they are trimmed back you can see the color in our front yard without it screaming PALM TREES! Super friendly guy, fast, and affordable too! Thanks Howard!

We had just purchased a property that had a lot of trees that definitely needed help. From the beginning with a free estimate to the end with the removal of three trees I have to say everything went so smoothly and our yard looks great. These guys know their business, I love that they share their knowledge it really opened my eyes. This company was so amazing to work with they know what customer service is all about.

We had TreeWise come out to our house for tree trimming Az. Howard from TreeWise was very professional  and honest. There work was top notch and let no mess. I have and will recommend TreeWise for all tree services.

I tried using Treewise from a friend who has used them with good results.  

My wife called two time and did not receive a call back.  I called two times and finally Howard called back and was flexible with an appointment for an estimate.  I scheduled appointments for two contractors before him and and another after him since I work 26 days a month, I dont have a lot of time to meet with contractors, tree folks, etc.  He called maybe thirty minutes before the appointment and cancelled. OK no big deal, stuff happened.  

I then offered to take pictures of the work I needed and email it to him to save HIM time and get an estimate that way.

I took numerous pics and emailed it to him---No response.

I waited a few days--no response.

I called him--no response.

I texted him--no reponse.  

I again called him--no response.

I basically wasted a week of my time waiting to work with Howard.

Not kool.

I contact him a few months ago to come out and do a pretty large job. We wanted him to do some stump grinding in the front yard, trim 3 large palm trees, and two larger trees in the backyard, as well as some misc. smaller trees. He came out right away and gave us a quote that we were please with. I asked him to please provide the quote in writing for me as well as give me a copy of his insurance information and he very eagerly agreed to have it to me within a few days.

I waited, and waited, and waited to hear back from him but he never sent anything to me. So I called him multiple times, left messages and emails, but still no response. After a week and a half a lady called me back from his company to tell me that he has decided that he is not going to be able to take the job.

Overall it was better for me that he did not take the job because I was able to get someone else out there that was cheaper and able to provide the insurance information that I asked for.

The big problem that I have with him is his lack of follow up. If he would have told me that he was not going to take the job earlier or responded to my phone calls, then I would not have had to wait to get the job done, and would have been able to move on to someone else quicker.

If you do choose to go with him, I would highly recommend getting a copy of his insurance information. I do not know if that is the reason that he chose to not take my job, but I do know that he did not provide the information to me.

What an amazing experience.  An enormous palo verde tree fell down in my yard.  I called Treewise in the morning and they sent an arborist out to my house in a few hours.  He assessed the damage and explained the work it would take to remove the tree.  I had a few other trees that were on their last leg and considered removing those as well.  I promptly received an estimate and the Treewise crew came later the same afternoon.  From what I understand, typically the services would need to be scheduled a week or two in advance, but they do have a crew available for emergencies/storm damage scenarios.  The crew was very helpful, fast and cleaned up all the mess too.  Would recommend these guys!

Great experience. They got back to me quickly and were able to fit my schedule. They were definitely the best priced of a few estimates I got. I do think they may have underestimated our tree volume but they came back to finish up and they did a beautiful job. Thanks Jerry!

I had called 3 tree service companies as I needed to have 2 bottle (dead) bottle trees removed and a palm tree trimmed and TreeWise (Jerry)  was one of the two that took my call immediately (the other I left a message for that called me back 4 days later, wha?). Jerry was out within 36 hours to do an estimate and answered all my questioned including insurance which he states they are insured up to $3 million because they do work for the City of Tempe. I was nervous about the location of the trees being right against a wall and very close to a neighbor's house, but Jerry reassured me that this would be the easiest job the crew would do for the week. He had the estimate to me in writing 24 hours later and stated they could schedule me in for the end of the week!  Their prices are very reasonable, if not better than other companies whom had solicited my house noticing the two dead trees. They take cash, personal check, and credit card with a 4% processing fee.

Jerry came to my house and got the job done with his amazing crew. The whole process (tree removal, palm trimming, stump grinding) took about 2.5 hours and to boot, they busted out a leaf blower and rakes and did great job cleaning up after the job. He even got a dead lemon tree branch out of a different tree for me because I couldn't reach it. Oh and remember how I said the trees were close to the wall and neighbor's house? They went over (with my neighbors permission) to their yard and did a cleanup there too, including getting leaves out of his pool!

5 stars for communication and customer service. We won't hesitate to use TreeWise for our future tree needs.

Would be a 5-star review except I initially had some problems with scheduling. However, when it was brought to management's attention, Jerry bent over backward to make things right. Howard just finished my trees, and they look wonderful. Cleanup was immaculate, as well.

UPDATE August 2015:

After seeing my poor Yelp review, Jerry reached out to me to apologize for the mix up.  My paperwork had slipped through the cracks.  He offered to have the crew come out.  I agreed and set up a time.  This time Jerry called and emailed to confirm an appointment date.  Howard and his crew came out as planned and did a wonderful job (they left just 10 minutes ago).  Howard apologized for the lack of response in June as well.  Howard is very personable and clearly knows that a good relationship and great work ethic lead to return customers.  I appreciate a company that owns up to a mistake and makes it right. I'm happy I gave them another chance!

We had three palm trees that needed trimming.  We had three companies bid the work.  Treewise gave us a fair accurate bid for the work.  One of the other companies we contacted wanted three times more to do the job.  I was completely satisfied by the work and very happy to not pay three times what the job should cost!  A big thank you to Howard and his crew.

After getting multiple bids we decided to go with Tree Wise.  We are so happy with their service!  They trimmed a total of 8 trees on our rental property and they look AMAZING!  They also ended up taking out a tree at our residence. They answered all our questions and made suggestions and observations regarding the placement of a new tree. My husband was so impressed that he already has plans to hire them again soon!

Great service at an affordable price! Treewise trimmed four of our palms in the backyard and they look great. They gave us a military discount which was much appreciated and my Marine Finance liked the high and tight tree trimming! We will definitely be using Treewise again.

My backyard had a canary island palm tree pushing up against our fence and needed to be removed. The initial quote for the removal was the lowest I had seen, so I tried to book their services as soon as possible. Unfortunately, missed calls and weather delays put the removal at 2 weeks after quote. The removal guys did an excellent job and were very friendly, even cleaning up some of the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend Treewise!
