HISTORY

Established in 2001.
Open Range Pest Control is owned and operated by Dennis Patterson, a retired Ohio State Trooper and DeLane Patterson, a United States Marine. A Father/Son team each with nearly 18 of experience in the pest control industry, these two know what respect, attention to detail and customer service is all about.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

DeLane is a former Marine who in 2001 began working in the Pest Control Industry as a new career with a nationally renowned company. Since that time he has made it his mission to learn everything he can about the pests that trouble both residential and commercial customers. He has extensive experience in pest and rodent management, termite and other wood destroying organism control, and fumigation services. His knowledge of the industry has allowed him to hold licenses in 4 states including 8 licenses in Arizona alone. He has also earned the title of the National Pest Management Association Quality Pro, the mark of excellence in pest management. DeLane is passionate about his chosen career and prides himself on the knowledge he has attained in nearly 18 years of experience. Great experience! Just moved into a new build house and expected to see some bugs. Submitted a request to Open Range about getting service started. I received a quick response and within a day had an appointment set up to get treated. The technician that showed up was extremely polite and professional. Listened to what I had to say and explained the process to me so there were no surprises or questions I would have probably had after. It's no wonder why the reviews for them are so great, I highly recommend if you are in the market for someone, to give them a call. You will not be disappointed!

We have had all positive experiences with Open Range Pest Control from the very beginning when I contacted DeLane about their services. He responded quickly and provided me with everything I needed to make a decision. When our house closed and we were ready for them to start they made sure to fit us into the schedule. The service guys are super friendly and do a great job. I only find dead bugs outside and that's where I want them to stay.

I have been using Open Range Pest Control for a little over a year and have been very happy with the results. The house we bought in 2017 had been on the market for over a year so when we moved in we knew we needed to get pest control. Right away we saw the difference of fewer bugs when they started spraying. DeLane and Donny were very helpful in identifying some of the bugs we had in the beginning and educated us, since we were out of state, as how to keep the bugs away.
They have been patient with my many questions and are very open to answering them. Recently, in our reminder letter as to when Donny would be spraying, DeLane offered to put screens on the air vents that go to the roof to keep out scorpions, and other critters. They have great prices and really do look out for their clients needs.

I've been using Open Range Pest Control for a couple of years now. I love their service philosophy. They do not lock you into a contract. They are a friendly and helpful service that lets their last service speak for itself. They won't try to sell you anything that you do not need. They are open and honest. I would recommend them to anyone, and in fact I have. I won't use anyone else.

We have been using Open Range Pest control since we moved to Arizona. Delane and his staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They are responsibly priced and we never see bugs and weeds as Open Range Pest Control take care of both. Highly, highly recommended for any pest control and we'd evening services. Found my 2nd Scorpion in about a month. Along with the good reviews here, it was actually a post they had on their websites about the bathroom fan being an access point. Since both times I found them in my masterbath, I wanted to go with a company that seemed to know what they were doing and the pests they were controlling. Donny came out today, really friendly and helpful. We talked about the bathroom fan and some possible future fixes and changes in my house that would cause me to find Scorpions after 3 years of nothing (newly installed landscaping and irrigation). He went to work, quickly and professionally. Was very happy with him and his work. Would definitely recommend this company.

Delane and his team have taken care of all my pest control needs.

When I called Open Range for a quote I suspected Termites on my house, but I was unsure and didn't want to be pressured into anything. Delane took the time to explain how the bugs work, and what the recommended treatment was. He offered to send one of his highly qualified employees out to walk the perimeter of my house with me and to go over the treatment options and fees.

I received an immediate follow up call from his employee Sarah to schedule a site visit. Sarah was flexible and agreed to come out first thing in the morning and even offered to bring me a Starbucks on the way! Sarah came out to my house, gave it a full inspection for what I suspected was Termites. She was so pleasant and went over all the options in a no pressure way.

We closed the deal and I can honestly say it has been a great experience and would recommend Open Range to friends/family & co-workers without hesitation.

We are HUGE fans of ORPC! Tim is always professional, quite personable, and punctual. DeLane emails us ahead of time to remind us of the visit, allowing us to reschedule or ask for additional services, if needed. Open Range keeps the critters at bay for us, all year long.

I am very happy so far with the service at Open Range. I walked the yard today after record breaking heat expecting to see scorpions all over the place and did not see 1. We had been seeing dozens every night outside and a few inside each week before Open Range came out. Our worst invaders were the almost microscopic baby scorpions that were crawling out of the cracks literally. We have grass, trees and a pool so I was just hoping for a little better but Open Range has exceeded my expectations. Whatever they use for scorpions is a miracle working secret weapon. We were trapped in a 2 year contract when we first moved in with a company that charged over $200 a quarter and we were still seeing scorpions and all kinds of bugs with them spraying twice a month. Open Range is very affordable and easy to work with. Tim is our bug guy and he is great. He is friendly and knowledgeable and is not afraid to tell it like it is. I am keeping this company for my pest control needs. I just wish we had found them two years ago!

We moved to AZ about a year ago and have been using Open Range Pest Control during this time. We have been extremely happy with their services. I did not have one spider, roach, or scorpion in my house all year. Outside I saw a few crickets, and I mean a FEW, but nothing else....and our yard backs up to open desert.

They make it very easy to schedule an appointment with their email system, and are quick to post a paid invoice. When you email them, they get back to you quickly.

Today I had them apply pre emergent weed control. The technician was very careful to apply the product so that it was not on my pavers, but also make sure that our gravel was completely covered. The product they use does not smell. We had another company apply a treatment previously, and it smelled so bad you didn't want to go outside, and I had yellow stains on my pavers, and walls. I was thrilled to see that Open Range uses a product that is much more consumer friendly.

We have had the same technician all year, which is great. He is polite, neat, respectful and doesn't look like he belongs on America's Most Wanted!

We have been using Open Range for well over a year now. I am so happy to have found this company! Every month Tim comes and is so professional and courteous. We get an email reminder every month of our scheduled time, and Tim arrives on time each month. We have never needed an interior service because their outside service is so good we get no critters in the house. There has only been one time that we needed them to come back and that was because we saw a scorpion in the house. I highly recommend Open Range.

I posted in my community looking for pest control and couldn't believe the overwhelming response... almost all recommended Open Range. I emailed asking for service and DeLane Patterson (whom was on vacation) still communicated with me multiple times and set up for Tim to service my home the same week. You can tell they are extremely knowledgeable and family run. I signed up for monthly service and am so pleased with the results so far. Highly recommended!!

We had a major ant issue inside our house. The owner DeLane came right out and took care of it. We have not seen one single ant since he was here. At my old house we were dealing with scorpions and crickets and he got rid of those right away also. He truly takes pride in his work. II honestly and truly can recommend open range pest control.

DeLane has provided pest control for my home for several years and I remain VERY impressed with his professionalism and honesty. Always prompt, friendly and flexible, DeLane provides an educational, no frills, no contracts service with very reasonable prices. Most important, I no longer have an issue with ants, bugs, crickets, crawly critters and other things that go bump in the night. If I could give 10 stars, I would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was driving down the 303 and saw the business truck and so I called left a message. Within mins Delane called me back. Very professional and upfront. He made it very easy to get his guys out to my place quick. Talk about mom and pop company!!! OUTSTANDING!! I was able to discuss things that i needed over text and it was easy as pie. David came to my home, my husband and mother were so impressed with his PROFESSIONALISM. They were so happy with his knowledge and he gave helpful tips. I would suggest this company to everyone!!!!
