Great customer service! Our water heater broke and we bought a new one from Lowes on a Friday night. Despite Lowes dropping the ball and not calling to set up installation on the following Saturday, as promised, MWP went out of their way to make sure that our water heater was installed. They made several phone calls on our behalf and then interrupted their own schedule to help us! Then, Monte showed up right on time, and our water heater was installed and working within an hour. They could have easily just made us wait out the weekend for a Monday appointment, but they didn't. This is a plumber you can trust.

Monti is the man!!!! This dude is amazing. He was exceptionally efficient, friendly, thorough and professional. I had a leak from the outside of my homes main. He explained to me my options and how much I expect to get charged. He saved me time and money. Other plumbers on yelp were trying to add more unnecessary work to jack up the price while Monti saved me by doing it efficiently and doing it AFTERHOURS!! Truly an example of a stand-up business. Monkey Wrench was hired by Lowes to install our new garbage disposal. Monte (the owner) came out with another plumber to complete the install. They were friendly, fast and efficient!! He even noticed another problem that I had and will be back out to my home on Tuesday to fix that. They will be our go to plumbers from now on. I'm so glad that we found a great plumbing company!!

We had an excellent experience working with Monkey Wrench Plumbing. We bought a new dishwasher through Lowes and were contracted out to Monkey Wrench for the install. Monte came and measured to verify fit. He was very courteous to give me a call ahead so I did not have to wait around during the day. When the dishwasher came in, Brad and Jimmy came to install it. Brad worked easily through an issue that I thought might be a showstopper and I had a beautifully installed dishwasher within an hour with absolutely no damage to my wood floor or a mess to clean up. Kimmie was a breeze to work with on the phone. Very positive experience in every way and although I hope to not need a plumber in the near future, I am glad I have one to call when needed.

We experienced excellent service via Monkey Wrench. No, it was more than that; extraordinary service is closer to the truth.

The Monkey Wrench team arrived on time and ready to work. They unboxed the new sink and faucet for our kitchen remodel. Both are name-brands and were not cheap. Imagine the surprise we all shared when they unboxed those items, and although the packaging was pristine, both had damage.

You'd expect the team would offer their sympathies, and they'd put me in touch with reception to reschedule after I gain replacements. Sure, maybe a lesser company would have gone that route, but not Monkey Wrench.

I had the original parts delivered and did not have a way to accomplish the swap easily. After a brief discussion, Monkey Wrench not only exchanged the items for me, they did so that same day and returned to complete the job. Not only that, they had the retailer unbox several other units on-site until they found non-damaged items.

Our kitchen is finally complete, and we have Monkey Wrench to thank. We just booked the next job, and our bathroom-remodel will look great with them at the helm. Of that, we're certain.

We had new countertops and sinks installed in our kitchen and bathrooms and the contractor suggested we replace the old copper water pipes that had been bent many times over the years. I made a few 'blind' calls because we had never used a plumber before. I knew it was risky to just pick a plumber from a web search, however, I did not have much choice; the water was turned off to our whole house. I made several calls and did get ahold a few plumbers and decided to go with Monte at Monkey Wrench because he explained, over the phone, the prices for each component that needed replacing. He told me not to pay more than the amount he gave me for each sink, if I decided to go with someone else. He offered to call me back while he worked on the afternoon schedule to get one of his plumbers over that day.
He was able to get two of his guys over within a couple of hours and they did a super job. They replaced all the old copper pipes, made sure all the connections were water tight and the water was flowing properly, they cleaned up after they were done, and they were polite, cordial and were both clean and appropriately dressed. We were so pleased with Brad and Matthews' work that we had them redo the ugly hardware to one of our toilets, install a new drinking water purifier and assemble an automatic soap dispenser.
Monkey Wrench Plumbing is a family company, and Kimmie was just as delightful to work with as her husband Monte. Kimmie does the scheduling and billing, and with all the work we decided to have Monkey Wrench do for us, we needed to schedule a few visits.

I have used Monkey Wrench Plumbing on 3 occasions and they have been punctual and did great work each and every time. They are a small plumbing company in Chandler and very helpful and friendly. The last time I needed them was for a toilet leak at my Mother-In-Laws house. I work and didn't have time to investigate before making the appointment with Monti of Monkey Wrench. They came right on time to my MIL's house and discovered a loose supply line coupling. They fixed the issue and would not accept any money for their work. There's a reason Monkey Wrench is the lowest bidder. Just over 2 years ago I had this company replace the ball valve, back flow, and copper piping with a new hose bib on my exterior water line. Two weeks ago I noticed water was spraying from one of their welds/soldering points and had been hitting my foundation to the point it was eating away at the concrete. Don't remember the last time I checked this but had to be leaking for months to cause that damage. Contacted Monkey Wrench in order to set up a visit to have a look. After days of no response I was told send a pic. 3 days later still nothing so had to ask for a response. That response was you're out of warranty, clearly assuming this is what I was asking for. Had city water tech come out to shut off the water line so I could repair and they were shocked this solder would fail so quickly and even more shocked the company wouldn't stand behind their work. I agree.

I needed a plumber and did not know who to call so I found Monkey Wrench Plumbing on Yelp and called and spoke to Monte. I was having trouble removing the cartridge valve in my shower. I could not turn on the water or else I would have a major leak so Monte sent somebody out within 35 minutes to finish the job. From now on, anytime I need a plumber I will call Monte. - Michael V.

Very friendly. It was my first experience. I had called him for an changing main water valves to the house. He did an excellent job with it. I was meanwhile working on my other project by myself. He noticed it and offered to help me without asking and didn't demand any money. Since I had moved in to my recently purchased house, he also helped me with some tips and answered my questions for other projects without any hesitation. I would definitely recommend him.

They worked through Lowe's for me when I needed sink hookup from new countertops. They were very helpful and good at what they do.

Monte has been an amazing help for all our plumbing needs. I have used him for the past year with any issues that we have had. The first time I called him, he fixed a leak in our 2nd bathroom tub that the first plumbers did not fix and thought the problem was in our foundation (not even close). He recently replaced our water heater that busted, and we are now going through with a water softener installation. I have experienced and also heard of bad experiences with plumbers, and monte has performed beyond my expectations with his services. Installed two toilets. First, made special appointment to meet our schedule. Fabulous! Next, ran into a problem with our uneven saltillio tile. They worked it out. Great company to deal with.

Outstanding customer service! We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday afternoon and Monte went out of his way to respond and repair. Since then, we have used them a few other times. They are knowledgeable, responsive and all about taking care of their customers. Reasonably priced too! Like a good mechanic, we have found a plumber we can trust and count on! Highly recommend.

Had a great experience with Monkey Wrench Plumbing. I had gotten a few quotes to change out our water heater (we had issues with the gas valve for years and were tired of taking showers not knowing if we would have hot or cold water that day), and they were all more than I thought we should be paying. It was only a couple days before Thanksgiving so I wasn't sure we'd be able to get it done before the holiday, especially since it was a 75 gallon tank (which take more people to install), but Monte was super responsive and helpful getting me scheduled and finding me a good tank. We were thinking of getting one from Home Depot, and he didn't pressure us at all but we did end up having him pick one up from his supply store instead due to the brand reputation. He was able to have it delivered and installed the next day at a very reasonable price, and did not try to upsell us on unnecessary features. They showed up when they said they would and got the job done quickly. They hauled away the old one and didn't leave any messes, even coiled up our hose in a neat pile after using it :). There were no hidden fees or surprises with the bill. We had hot water again within a couple of hours. Will definitely call them again next time we need a plumber!

Monkey Wrench Plumbing is beyond fantastic! Monte (the owner) just spent an hour of his evening on the phone, texting pictures, and walked me through every step to remove a broken tub cartridge on a job I had attempted myself. The water was off, and couldn't be turned back on and my wife was mad!

He said You'll get this done and I'll stay one with you until we get it working. He gave me every option and what step to do, told me what I could do and not do safely with the valve, and gave me a ton of tips on how to get the new one installed cleanly.

We ended the night with me turning our water back on and a totally new installed valve. Please don't hesitate to use these guys for any plumbing job! I'll be calling them every time!

I used Monkey Wrench Plumbing for pressure regulator valve and pressure vacuum breaker at my house. Monty goes above and beyond to help his customers and takes pride in his work. Their pricing is very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Overall Monkey Wrench Plumbing seemed to install our soft water system properly but there were several issues with communication and scheduling (late and missed appointments). Also there is a slight disagreement on whether or not a small fee was discussed prior to work completion. We might use Monkey Wrench again in the future if they could resolve some of these issues. Read on below for more details.

I first contacted Monte through yelp for a quote for my soft water system. Monte told me he does these systems all the time and that the cost for the softener would be 850 dollars plus tax. I scheduled Monte's team to come out and they gave me a window for service for Wednesday the following week. The night before the soft water install I unfortunately also had a leak from my master bathroom shower through our ceiling. We had to have a company come out and clean up the water and Monte told us they would come by to fix the leak during the soft water appointment.

Wednesday's appointment window came and I heard nothing from Monte or his team so I called and he assured me his team would be by around 5 instead. Monte's team eventually came but immediately realized they were missing required parts for my water connections and would have to come back. The next appointment was set for the following day earlier in the day. After this appointment window came and went, I again called Monte to try to check on status. Monte again said his team was busy (due to the season of the year) and told me his team would be by later that day. His team did come by around 5PM again and installed the system and looked at the leak. They told me for the leak they would need some parts and would need to come back the following day. Based on prior missed appointments I contacted Monte again proactively to get a window for Friday. Monte assured me someone would be by between 12-4 on Friday. Friday's appointment was missed again. I tried to call and text message Monte and did not hear back from him until the following day. Monte told me they were all off on Friday.

At this point I asked for the bill for the soft water system and Monte told me the cost for the system would be 850 + tax + an additional fee for a separate install kit that I believe we were not previously notified about. While this fee was only another 60 dollars I was not happy about not being notified in advance. Monte told me he believes he mentioned this fee to us. At this point I cancelled the work for the ceiling leak and explained my concerns to Monte in depth. Monte's called me back and discussed our concerns and was apologetic. Overall, I think maybe we had a serious of miscommunications during Monte's busy season.

I think Monkey Wrench Plumbing did an OK job on the system that they installed but there were numerous communication and scheduling issues. We might use Monkey Wrench Plumbing again in the future if they can resolve some of the issues I mentioned above.

Awesome experience working with these guys. They gave an accurate estimation of the work involved by just looking at pictures of the project. They came in and knocked the whole thing out same day and even found some other issues without trying to upsell me on more costly repairs. Would definitely use these guys again and would highly recommend to a friend.

Monkey Wrench is my go to for plumbing needs. If you don't know, plumbers can also do gas line work. My outside gas line needed a new nozzle for my new Weber grill and Monte hooked me up. Not only is Monte A-1 in plumbing. He is also a prompt and friendly guy when it comes down to service as well as customer service.

LIARS!! Monkey Wrench Plumbing installed a dishwasher we purchased from Lowe's and it has consistently smelled of moldy water. Lowe's directed us back to Monkey Wrench and rather than coming to our home to inspect the dishwasher, they sent someone out just to get a signature on a work order. He said, this is a work order for us to bring out a brand new dishwasher and install it for you free of charge. That was about three weeks ago and we never heard back from Monkey Wrench. Several phone calls to Lowe's reveals that Monkey Wrench Plumbing is denying this ever took place and refuses to take any responsibility. Very sketchy company, very unprofessional and I can't believe Lowe's contracts with such a business. DO NOT ALLOW THEM IN YOUR HOME!!

The first appt. they were a no call no show. Rescheduled, they showed up in a personal, unmarked vehicle, no uniform or even a company tshirt. Replaced trap under my sink only to find out it has been slowly leaking ever since, leaving me with a moldy mess.

I met Monti when he was contracted by Lowe's to install a dishwasher in my wife's condo. I was so impressed by how personable he and his crew were that I called him when I needed a new water heater at my house. He installed a great unit at a great price. We have since used him for a water heater at the condo and a water softener at the house. We have had zero issues with any of the products! I will not use any other plumber in the valley. Monkey Wrench was hired by Lowes to complete an emergency install of a water heater I purchased from them. Monte came out to our home with his assistant to complete the install. He was organized, professional, extremely knowledgeable in plumbing, and most important answered all our questioned regarding our new water heater.
