Chris came by and swapped out a couple of faucets for us today. Friendly & fast with no extra problems mysteriously arising half-way through. Will use the company again, for sure.

(I refuse to comment on price because all plumbers are expensive, you guys)

$49 later (quote charge) and I was given a $965 quote to install an inline water filter.  This price was for labor only. Very disappointed and will not call again.

We were in need of a reliable, skilled plumber who could fix a tub faucet at a reasonable rate. The faucet is about 30 year old so it took somebody who knows older, as well as current configurations. Jimmy gave me an estimate on the phone and did a great job. If you're looking for an ethical, professional, I highly recommend Jimmy. We will certainly use Jimmy's services in the future.

I am having a horrible experience with Jimmy Cash.  He installed drip irrigation for me, no explanation how system works ...nothing. When you ask questions, he talks and talks and talks but not actually giving you the answer to your question. We are having issue with the drip irrigation, phone calls, voicemails - no response - Two appointments - No body showed up or even called to let us know that they will not be showing up. Horrible I don't care, got your money in my pocket ... who the hell are you? attitude '

The emergency water valve at the house froze in the off position we called Jimmy at 7pm Monday and they send someone out next day to replace the valve.

This plumbing company has a new customer for life.  Jay Clay is not only very knowledgeable, but also a fine example of mankind.

Our water main between the house and the street cracked and started leaking into the yard. We called Jimmy and he and his assistant Nick came out personally to do the repairs. Jimmy had given us a quote over the phone that included a price range that was very reasonable considering the amount of labor it would take to fix the leak. Digging out the soil and hacking through all the roots alone was worth the money! Jimmy and Nick did a superb job and kept us appraised of the repair at every step.  When he and Nick had to leave for an hour to get dinner while the repair was curing he even offered to get us something to eat. You just can't ask for any more personal service!  I would recommend Jimmy to any one for their plumbing needs. He now has a customer for life. To cap it all off the repair was done in a timely manner and came in at the lower end of his quote. If you need a plumber in the North Dallas area call this McKinney resident plumber and you'll never need to call anyone else!

This company is a con.  Called for a leak location.  Fake plumber couldn't find the source of the leak, caused flooding in the process, and pretended to he knew what he was doing.  I don't even think this guy, Jimmy Cash sent out has a license.  How does one person perform leak location in a room with carpet without removing the carpet to listen with the giaphone.  What a crock.  This guy flooded my home with the use of a air compressor and inexperience. Now,  Jimmy Cash doesn't want to cover the damages his fake, and I'm assuming unlicensed plumber caused.   SHAME ON YOU JIMMY CASH'S PLUMBING.
ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Highly recommend! Competitive price on new tankless water heater. Super clean install. I've used him a few times for various projects and have never been disappointed.

I originally chose this plumber because they had positive reviews, but my experience was different. I hired them to replace a water line between the city equipment and my house. After having it replaced I found out they did not reconnect the sprinkler system to the water line. They just broke he connection and left the connector lying in the water sprinkler housing. I called to have them return and fix it and they refused without additional payment despite my having a 5 year warranty. I was forced to hire another company to make the repair and sue Jimmy Cash Plumbing for the amount i was out, which I won. They did not get a permit and inspection from the City of McKinney which is a requirement. If they had done this, it would have been caught when they were making the repair. So buyer beware.

I had used Jimmy Cash Plumbing in the past, due to a do it yourself project that ended up in a water line break. It was after hours but they rescued me in a time of need:) They were reasonable, professional and efficient. Jimmy the owner actually came that visit. Most recently had a water leak and decided Google and my do it yourself efforts would likely not go well, as indicated above. I called made an appointment. Sadly, no one showed up for my appointment and the answering service was taking the calls. The next day I called and was disappointed, they apologized, rectified the problem, came out on a Saturday and fixed me up. When you know a company is reputable you give them the opportunity to make it right. I did, I couldn't be more pleased. Jay is a very professional service manager and plumber that did the work. I would recommend them to all of my friends. I will be hiring them for future projects. They are local, they are professional and my go to plumbers. Thank you.

Save yourself the headache. Called on a Saturday to schedule an appointment. First available was the following Tuesday morning. They were going to call 30 minutes prior to the appointment. Tuesday morning comes and no phone call. Afternoon comes and nothing. Call the company several times only to finally discover they use a call service that answers the phones for multiple companies and the only action they can take is to send an email. It's now the end of the day on Tuesday, so I've called DeWolfe's Affordable Plumbing and they'll have someone out in the morning.

Jay was referred to me by a friend who had also had a showered that leaked from their first floor to their second. Jay was very clear and concise in his approach to identify the problem and resolved it. After resolving the first issue, another came up. Instead of giving up, he and his partner stayed for an extra 5 hours on a Friday night until it was fixed. I respected his dedication to resolving my problem, taking his time to walk my through his analysis, and most of all, he honored the original cost even though it ate up a tremendous additional amount of time. My wife and I panicked being this is our first house and our first major house issue, and we could've been more thankful for Jay and his partner. I highly recommend Jay and his team at Jimmy Cash Plumbing.

DO NOT HIRE JIMMY CASH. HE DOES NOT HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOUR SAFETY MIGHT BE AT RISK. My husband and I spread the news because we do not want you to suffer the way we struggle for the last two weeks. This company installed water heater in our small restaurant last October. During install we heard explosion. Of course we are not expert on this so we took whatever he says. All he said were all LIES. Since day 1 the new water heater is not functioning well. No water heater coming out. We called him last year he made some adjustment warm water came out for short time. His explanation on this is again is not true. He knows how to lie. We called again after few months less than 6 months install because finally no more hot water coming out.  He ignored us. He is changing the option of his phone prompts to avoid us. Then finally he responded. A technician came because we said the city is watching us because of no water heater. Of course the city does not want us to operate without water heater. So my husband shut down his Resto for two weeks to comply with the city. One of Jimmy's partner came. He said he is almost electrocuted. This is related to the explosion happened during install. The technician ran away after I requested to give us the invoice for the install. He does not want to be part of Jimmy's deal with us. There was a safety issue on his install and he does not want to fix it. I hired a city listed contractor and we finally knew that Jimmy made a safety hazard install that may burn the building. Do not trust yelp and google rating. Trust BBB rating. I will put this rating in BBB so he will not victimize other people. This company care about the money not the safety and happiness of his customer. Zero is the review.

09/04/2014 woke to ankle deep sewer water in the tub/shower. my mother's 78th birthday party was at 1:00 p.m. and my fiancée and I had to call American Home Shield (which is not worth the money, time or effort) and try to get a plumber here to fix the problem by time to leave. I will not go into detail about those who answered the multiple calls that we made, but AHS does not care about you as a homeowner or customer and I will leave it at that. We tried a few other plumbers in McKinney, no victory, but a maybe is better than nothing when your fiancée  adores taking baths. then, I found Jimmy Cash's Plumbing online and liked his personal description of his way of doing business. my fiancée called, no answer and less than thirty seconds later, Chris, one of Jimmy Cash's plumbers called right back. He asked the problem, and stated that he could be at our house in about an hour and a half. five minutes later, he phoned again and said it that he could make it in forty minutes or less. within an hour, tub drained, problem solved and much less than we had anticipated as far as cost and time. Chris is a former Marine and a family man. he took care of business, worked clean, left zero mess, and looked me in he eye when he spoke and explained what happened, what caused it and how he fixed it. I do not review businesses, but this time I made an exception, because the service was exceptional! if I were to sum my experience up in one sentence, it would be this; if you use any other company, you are cheating yourself.

Post Script, Ask for Chris when you call, if he is available, because I am telling everyone that I know to ask for him and Jimmy Cash's plumbing service!

Jimmy Cash plumbing.. What can I say? Absolutely the most professional, knowledgable and friendly plumbers I've ever met. We had three other bids. Jay and Jimmy(yes the owner even came out) spent three hour diagnosing our issue and determined we needed less work than the others quoted. As a matter of fact, when they exposed the pipe others claimed was broken, it was solid as a rock!

After the hard freeze last week, our tubs and toilets were draining slowly, so we called our home warranty company, they sent someone out twice and we thought the issue was fixed.  This was quite an inconvenience, as my husband and I are both teachers and taking days off is difficult.  

We tried to run the washing machine and discovered ithe initial problem was not fixed because the washer backed up and spilled water all over our floors.  Rather than have them come back, we decided to call another plumber.

We called Jimmy Cash's Plumbing on the recommendation of a friend.  They have 24-7 service, which was important for us.  Jay came out on a Saturday (which the other guys would not do), carefully explained everything he was going to do and try to resolve the issue we were having.  He was extremely professional and thorough, and best--fixed the clog causing our washer to back up.  Jay was extremely knowledgeable and charged us half of what the other plumber charged us to get up on the roof to work out the stoppage.  We plan to have him come back out in the summer to install new toilets for us, and would definitely have him back to do any other plumbing we needed.  

The TL;DR:  responsive, reasonable, knowledgeable and professional.  Jimmy Cash's Plumbing will get more business from us for sure!

I guess Jimmy thinks a plumbers license is a license to steal.

$50 to show up, then quoted $375 to replace a Moen Cartridge while up selling to a complete valve replacement.  

The tech that came out was a nice guy, but c'mone. It's a $31 cartridge that took me 15 minutes to replace.   Google is your friend.

While I was at Home Depot buying the cartridge, I ran into another plumber. I asked what he would charge. He told me $125 if local, $175 if he had to drive more than 20 mins.

Glad I did it on my own. Jimmy still made $50 off 5 mins work.

We've used Jimmy's Plumbing several times over the year and have never had a bad experience, from water heater replacements, to clogged lines, to broken valves.  Whether Jimmy himself has done the work, or one of his employees we have always found them to be courteous and honest.  Jay came out to help us with a water pressure issue today and he was friendly and quickly identified the problem and recommended a solution. Highly recommend Jimmy Cash to anyone in the McKinney, Frisco, Plano, etc. area.

I then searched for a local plumber. I am really happy I did
I found Jimmy's Cash Plumbing. First: the young lady
in their office is very courteous and professional.

Ask for Jay he will provide outstanding service. I was
not charged for using home Depo parts and at no time
was I UPSOLD any services that were not required. I was
happy with the work, the professionalism and service
provided by Jay.

The prices they quoted for the services provided were
spot on for what they charged,(yes I researched what
kind of prices to expect of the job; online.
(don't you just love Google?) I definitely recommend Jimmy's'
and will always ask for Jay plus I  plan on using their services again.

Jay, replaced the bulb, fill valve (cracked) and pump, plus
a new shut off valve that had shredded due to age. Not easy work
nor is it 15 minute job. Jay thank you for the great work!

We have used this company for several years now. They are always friendly, professional and honest. They will only do what work needs to be done and not try to sell you more. Their prices are very reasonable. They have been out to fix our bath tub when the faucet wouldn't turn off, fixed our garbage disposal and have also replaced our water heater and shut off valve. We will continue to use them for any future plumbing needs. Call them if you need to and you will not be disappointed!
