HISTORY
Established in 2017.
Mill & Stone Company was founded by Jayson and Jessie Ayala as a retail cabinetry, counter-tops, flooring, wall tile and hardwood flooring supplier in North Peoria, Arizona. In 2018, Mill & Stone Company expanded and opened a showroom in Central Phoenix. Prior to starting Mill & Stone Company Jayson and Jessie owned and operated Center Mass Construction, where they specialize in both residential and commercial interior remodels, such as; Additions, Full Home Remodels, Kitchen, Bath, and Office Remodels, as well as, Tenant Improvements-T.I. Mill & Stone Company has been formed to be a one stop shop which specializes in full interior design, retail sales of multiple cabinetry brands, counter-top's, doors, wall tile, flooring and trim molding. Mill & Stone Company currently retails all products to homeowners as well as other trade contractors.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Jayson grew up as a third generation contractor and is deticated to the perfection of his craft. His father was a Master Electrician and Master Carpenter, while his mother was an industrial retail designer for malls in both California and Arizona. Jayson would work with both of his parents as he grew up and fell in love with building and making others happy. Jayson took a sabbatical from construction and became a Arizona State Trooper, but even that couldn't keep him from wanting to build. While being in law enforcement, Jayson continued to work in construction and eventually retired from law enforcement, to pursue his dream of owning a family operated retail/construction firm.

After years of waiting to be in a financial position to remodel our dilapidated shower stall (circa 1989), we are grateful to have met Jayson Ayala as a recommendation from EZ Flow Plumbing (Another great company). His pricing is straightforward with a few caveats that he reveals upfront prior to demolition. His quote was competitive with the others we received for the work being done. Regardless of whatever trivial or redundant question I had regarding the project, Jayson was always readily available either by text or direct phone call even at later evening hours. Upon Demo, Jayson made us aware of a termite issue that we had in the stall being remodeled and had the integrity not to refer us to his "buddy in the industry". He insisted on stabilizing the structural frameworks in the wall of the stall and tub before initiating tile work to ensure maximum integrity of his work. As a part of the framework, he even went out of his way to buy wood repellant to termites. For those who don't know, many homes built late 80's- early 90's in AZ were bi-products of slipshod construction practices, often cutting corners to meet booming demand. As a father of 4, Jayson is a family man, even bringing his mentor Dad on site to help ensure that the job was completed adequately. We would definitely consider Jayson for future projects and remodels.
Jayson did a wonderful job remodeling our master bathroom. As this was my first time having a remodel done of any sort, Jayson immediately stepped in and provided his experience, wealth of knowledge, and quickly ended any doubts I may have had with deciding to update the bathroom. Not only was Jayson knowledgeable, but he always took the time to answer any and all questions, took the time to meet with me to pick out colors and develop a design, and he was constantly providing me with updates and informing me of any problems he was running in to that needed to be addressed. As the house is an older house, there were certain problems that were inevitable, but they are no longer problems thanks to Jayson. Overall, the bathroom transformation and the experience of the remodel was great! I highly recommend Jayson and will be reaching out to him and Mill & Stone once I decide to tackle the next project.
