Illustrious Hardwoods specializes in the installation of laminate, luxury vinyl plank and engineered hardwood flooring. We pride ourselves on our quality installations which are customer service focused. We are a small company that is being built on relationships with our clients.

HISTORY

With a passion for woodworking since middle school, Kyle needed to find a way to be home with his family as the traveling required by the television industry wasn't working for his family, so a career in hardwood flooring was started. The ability to work with his hands and still be creative with installations was a great switch from being a camera operator on reality television shows. Upon being mentored by some great companies in the Phoenix area, Kyle set out to start Illustrious Hardwoods and build a brand that is customer oriented and dedicated to excellence.

We contacted Kyle to install hardwood flooring in the formal living room and on the steps leading upto the second floor. Kyle was upfront on what the job entailed when he came to give us the estimate. The whole process from initial contact to install was less than a month. We have installed hardwood floors through the big box stores at our previous home, compared to that process this was a breeze. We are completely satisfied with the final product, believe it or not, there is not a single strip of wood that creaks!! Kyle will be our preferred contractor for any flooring projects in the future. I would have given him a star rating of 10 if I could.

It's refreshing to know there are still business professionals out there like Kyle. You could not have someone in your home who is more communicative, honest, dependable, trustworthy, and skilled. We entrusted Kyle unmonitored access to our home to install hard wood flooring of our upstairs hallway and loft. The process was stress free and fast! From initial to quote to installation, the entire job was completed in less than three weeks. Also of note, Kyle is who actually does the work! So many times you hire a company and never see the same "professional" once installation begins, which is not the case with Kyle. Kyle's the one that shows up, on time and actually completes the project. We cannot recommend Kyle and Illustrious Hardwoods enough!

I had recently purchased a home in Gilbert and loved the hardwood flooring in the common areas. I found out that was the work of Kyle at Illustrious Hardwoods so I contacted him to complete the flooring into the bedrooms. Kyle was so responsive and provided me with a reasonable quote within a day. The work was performed just as estimated and Kyle took special care to match the bedroom planks to the existing flooring for a seamless and eye-pleasing look. Kyle was prompt to work each day, worked steadily all day and cleaned up before leaving each evening. In addition to providing me with great service I learned that he promotes the legacy of his trade by hosting a podcast and sponsoring apprenticeships to ensure the skill set of the next generation. Kyle was amazing to work with! He was very flexible with my schedule and the other work being done at the home, and his attention to detail was outstanding! He kept in touch at each step and was very personable with everyone in my family. Totally recommend and would use again!

I loved the work done in my home! Kyle installed plank flooring thru out and it opened up my whole house! His talent and professionalism was amazing! We set the dates and times in which he would be at my home, and I was always able to depend on him, he arrived on time and was ready to work! I loved the fact too that he gave himself time frames for everything! I enjoy coming home each day to admire my floors! I would refer him to anyone in a heart beat!
