I needed to make changes to my service subscription and called their corporate customer service. Yes - there is a few minute wait, but that's pretty common everywhere from Verizon, Costco, even Amazon for the moment.

I spoke with COURTNEY who was very polite, and prompt to the point of making sure she understood how to accommodate my changes. She made the changes easily, quickly, and without any judgment due to the changes being needed because of my error. She definitely fits in with the rest of the team's profile of being professional and courteous, given that I am a grown man and making requests to have someone come out to squish bugs for me.

We work from home and have multiple no soliciting signs at the door yet they decided ring the doorbell. When I answer the door the sales guy tells me he is too busy to read signs and refused to give his name.
When I call the company it's routed to another country and I tell them I need to speak to someone here I'm sent to some guy locally named davarion who tells me that is the sales team and passes the buck.
I see a bunch of yelp complaints for this exact same thing and even a response from them asking for more details so they can correct it but it's obvious they aren't.  This company doesn't get it, they just keep doing it, to be fair maybe they need to be bothered while they are working

I wish I could give it zero stars! Their door to door salesman just rang our door bell and then when we didn't answer knocked on the door and when we still didn't answer rang the door bell again and knocked again! What kind of bull is that? Clearly if we didn't answer the first time we are not interested! He literally interrupted a very important work conference call I was on because he wouldn't leave! I am pissed!

All I have to say is that you have Shady employees coming door to door. And when they're told no they get aggressive. When you tell them no and you shouldn't lock your gate go in your house they try to jump your fence to get back to your front door. Lot of my neighbors have called the cops on them because they're just so aggressive and don't take no for an answer. There's signs of no solicitation and they disregard it 210%
A lot of the neighbors that have ccw's and the more aggressive they get the neighbors are going to protect themselves they've already called the cops on them several times. I would suggest your company stop this aggressive and unnecessary Behavior and Shady employees. Obviously they're learning from the company to do this at every home because everyone is complaining about it you need to stop hope you go out of business

Gonna give you a run down on my 1-year experience with EcoShield below:

-Reps claim a fake contest to get you to give them a 5 star review on Google, this is why there's a fake market review presence.

-Their monthly/bi monthly fees are literally more than 2x every competitor in Arizona. They try to charge $179 every two months while dozens of 4-5 star competitors charge $70 every two months.

-When you call service or try to cancel, you're connected with a call center in India and they give you a run around for over an hour as they have someone talk through a script and throw discounts at you then threaten the fact that you're on a fictitious contract.

Just say no, worst business practices I've ever encountered.

I have a special needs dog so I have a sign that says do not knock or ring doorbell, I can see you with my Arlo. There sales men do NOT READ and knocked and rang the door bell numerous times... so disrespectful I would not ever support a business with such rude people.

This company sent several door-to-door solicitors into our private
gated community. When our security team contacted the solicitors and asked them to leave, the security team was met with physical aggression, threats, and vulgar language. The police responded and escorted them off the property. The same solicitors returned the next three days with the situation escalating to the point that a resident displayed a weapon to protect themselves in their own driveway. When our administration attempted to reach out to the company they simply disconnected the phone call. I would strongly urge you to think twice about inviting these people to your home or business.  This situation has now been forwarded to our legal team for further escalation.

Truly one of the works experiences with a service provider I have ever encountered. They force you to sign a 12 month contract, and then never show up. They send a text message at/after your scheduled appointment time claiming their tech is out sick, and asking if they can come on another date. When you tell them NO they mark it down as having serviced your property, even when they dont.

My property has a locked gate, and we checked security camera footage. THEY WERE NEVER THERE!

When I called to cancel, they initially refused, then told me they could cancel future services, but would continue to charge for the duration of the contract, despite that they had never returned to the property after our initial service.

When I challenged them with text message evidence that the no-showed, their response was well maybe they came out anyways and you didnt notice.

HOW is a sick tech who called out of work, magically showing up on my property without me knowing, trespassing/breaking in through a PADLOCKED gate, and somehow remaining invisible to security cameras? That's right, they're not!

TL;DR - It's a SCAM. If you're in need find a different company!

I have a large no soliciting sign that you can't miss by the front gate. They totally ignored it, went into the front courtyard uninvited and started knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell. I work from home and had to interrupt my meeting to dismiss these clowns.

Avoid at all cost. Sales tactics so bad it seems like they're trying to survey your house to break into later. They disregard the no soliciting signs, they lie about having treated neighbors houses, and they don't shut up after being told no. Meanwhile, if you read the other reviews, anyone that does give them the time of day gets scammed. Obviously this is a BS business aimed to Shanghai people out of their money. **EDIT IN RESPONSE TO AXEL - There was no inspection. This review is solely based on your pushy sketchball salesmen coming to my front door to try to bully people into accepting your BS service. There is no way on earth I'd ever let these people you send out into or around my home**

The serve techs are nice and respectable. Everything else is trash. They lie, don't care about your time, and the actual service is average. I got the same results by doing it myself then having professional service done. Also, everything is on their time. If you need to change it then you are hassled. If they have to change it then they do and you have the hassle again for changing it. I called saying their cancellation would not work for me, I was working with them and then they canceled my service and charged me $200 dollars. Just don't waste your time and money.

I want to vent and leave a review just for the fact that they use shady door to door sales tactics. There are ways to advertise your business (online, tv, etc), but I despise any businesses that bothers me (especially when I'm busy) to pitch services that I do NOT need or are interested in!

I hired echo shield for pigeon removal and was told I had a one year warranty. Six months later I ask echo shield to come out as I suspected I had roof rats, they send this shady character name Josh who convinces me I have rats and I need $1900 worth of work he also tried to talk me into removing my brand new insulation as the rat problem won't go away with using they're insulation!  I refuse to remove my insulation when the technicians came technicians are really nice and honest tell me they see no sign of rats but I had a pigeon that had knocked some holes that they will repair and it was under warranty. Now they're trying to charge me$3300 not only do I not owe this but it's twice as much as quoted by their shady sales Rep I'm terminating all my services they don't answer the phone they have no follow up on their billing it's been horrible!

Only giving one star because you have too. They do door to door sales and end up at my parents house and knock on the door. My brother answers (which is special needs) this disgusting human that works for them decides to sell him pest control. (Like he knows what's going on. Dude barely knows what 4x4 is) my brother is too kind and wants to make everyone happy. Fast forward to a $400 contract that they now have him stuck in and won't do anything about it and then send him to collections after they've already billed him multiple times. If you want to go anywhere, go to green mango, eco guard, tru force. Literally anywhere but here. You guys are pathetic. Also, for everyone to know. READ YOUR CONTRACT. You can get out of the contract after 72 hours- but WAIT... if they service your house you can't. Which they do right after the sell. GARBAGE. TRASH. LIARS.

Had Mark and Mario out today to do our initial service. They were communicative and genuinely nice guys. Mark explained the entire process to me while keeping things understandable. High hopes this will help combat the ants and crickets, it's a 12 month agreement so I guess we'll see how it goes!

Their scammers when you sign up they tell you one thing and when you read the contract it's a whole other ball game they say there's a theee day grace period to cancel and we canceled less then 24 hours and the sales man jay just keeps rescheduling appointments for later days don't trust this place now I'm scared what their going to do with my card info DONT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY it's a SCAM

I have been using this company for the past year. What used to be a reliable company to deal with is now a shell of a company. My service date was canceled, rescheduled to a partial time I was available.  I called and spoke with someone who assured me I was the last appointment and that my arrival time at the residence was in line with their tech. At work, I receive a call an hour and half before the agreed time that my rep is at my residence and will wait for 10 minutes. Upon trying to call back, I am sent thru another loop of messages and what I am assuming to be a general answering service. Next day; no response, no attempt to reschedule or take care of a customer on a follow up visit that was needed as the previous treatment DID NOT WORK. Why am I chasing these people to give them my business? There has to be another GREEN service that actually cares for both PEOPLE and PLANET, not just profits. Very disappointed and frustrated with Ecoshield. Save yourself a few headaches and give this one a big skip.

Absolutely garbage company service and deceitful sales tactics. Guy came to my door told me if I sign up for a year of service I could cancel after 60 days if I didn't see improvement because they stand by their service. Well I signed up and 60 days later nothing has changed. I called to cancel and the guy in the sales office gives me the run around saying that I can have the tech just come out more and pay addition fees. When I ask to cancel my service I'm told I can't do that without paying a fee but when I said fine I'll pay the fee I just want to be done with it he tried transferring me to the sales department to explain why I need this service. This place asks you what day you want your service and then reschedules anyway. The techs are on site no longer then 5 minutes in and out as fast as they can. Customer service is completely nonexistent. If you want to waste money sign up like I did but if you want your ant or roach problem gone look elsewhere.

I was wary of the company due to online reviews, but I found out that because it is franchised?  The different divisions are run differently.  I can say that the guys in Queen Creek,out of Gilbert office, are Professional, courteous, on-time, knowledgeable, and most of all... took care of the scorpion & ant problem.  I am a fan.  Thanks Blake, Franco, Thomas!

While the company technicians are very good, the customer service is a zero.  Weeks of calls and messages and never a single call back.  No way to contact via email or messaging on the customer service portal.  I wonder if they've gone completely people free?  Except for the technicians.  And they have been good.  Guess the next thing will be drones that do the spraying and then poof!  No people at all.  No customer service at all, of course, I have that now!

Had an appointment today and it was taken care of like any other appointment. The technician that came out was Mathias Curtis, he did an Awesome Job. We're very happy with this company and Highly Recommend them to anyone. Thanks Again Ecohield for all you do.

This review is of their Los Angeles wing but it's the same company.

Well... their website states Pests only need 1/64 of an inch to enter your home.  and they were supposed to seal up holes in the exterior.  Nope.  Left gaping holes.

They were supposed to remove all the wasp's nests, including the one on my front patio.  Nope.

They were supposed to treat my garage.  Nope.  Had to chase the tech to come back and he didn't do anything there.

They were supposed to treat inside my home.  Nope.  Gnats attacking my basil plant... hundreds of 'em.

Great salesperson.  Lousy exterminators.  $350 for nothing.

I originally signed up with a gentleman that came to my door. He said there we're other neighbors jumping on their amazing deal in my neighborhood and talked me into signing up. I was looking for another service bc i wasn't very happy with green mango, but this company is far worse. They have over charged my debit card twice when they weren't suppose to charge it at all! I've been calling for the past two days to try and get my money refunded, but it still has not been done. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Please do yourself a favor and stay far, far away!

Basically, the sales guy comes through, tells you there is gonna be a big season for bugs and tells you a bunch of neighbors are signing up.
I have never had problems with bugs, i spray my own place, but they said they would go around and spray all the walls and around the pool and what not and knock down cobwebs and such.  I have a third of an acre, the outside alone should have taken at least 30-45 mins I would think.  Especially since they were going to lay down stuff for termites and barriers between me and my neighbor and blah blah blah.

Guy was in and out in 30mins, inside and out.  No cobwebs taken down and just not likely that any of the rest was done since it takes me 30mins to just do around my house when i do it myself.

I called within the first month, but not within 3 days of the first service as the contract states...people have busy lives....saying I wanted to cancel.  Guy on the phone tells me Oh it's the second visit that we take down cobwebs.  Oh ok, yeah, that makes sense.

I get a $160 cancellation fee...better than paying them $80~ every two months.

Someone came to my door, tried selling me on a service. I respectfully declined the offer because I am already signed up with a different company, but I would happily accept a quote for future reference. The sales rep took down my information to provide a quote only to sign me up with a service. Now I definitely will not use the services of such a dishonest and corrupt organization.

Edit: I also find it interesting that a lot of people took the time to start new Yelp accounts to give this shady organization 5 stars. Something awfully fishy is going on here.

Ecoshield Pest Control took advantage of my elderly Asian mother in Huntington Beach, CA.  

The company treated my mom's house on the day of solicitation by salesman James in May 2017 with a discounted price of $80.00 for THAT treatment.  James had her sign a contract thereafter.  Immediately, she realized that the service was an obligated, repetitive quarterly service for additional treatment fees; she told James that she wants to cancel on that same day.  James agreed and promised to waive the $170 cancellation fee and would be back within the hour with the cancellation FORM.  Suffice it to say, this despicable salesman did not return after multiple attempts to contact him via his cell phone and company phone number.  My poor elderly mother let it go, thinking that he would honorably do so.  

The company returned in June 2017 with another treatment and billed my mother $100.  She immediately contacted Ecoshield and was warned about the $170 cancellation fee.  Nathan (supervisor?) called my mother back and was informed about the above situation and he still sent her the $170 cancellation fee.  Really, is this how a touting eco-friendly 100% money-back guarantee company operate to swindle elderly Asian population?

Had a service appointment today to spray both the inside and outside of property in Chandler AZ. The technician that did the service was Fred. He called in advanced as was requested. He was professional, friendly and thorough with his work. He was genuine when asking if we have had any occurrences of pests in the home. He not only sprayed but also spread granules on the perimeter of the property.

I have been using Ecoshield for around 2 months. I know its early, but so far everyone that I have been in contact with has been courteous, professional, and on time within the window they provide.   I think they perform a great service and perform it well. I definitely recommend them to others.

Worst customer service ever.  Doesn't even kill pests effectively, and won't even bother trying to make it right.  Even after repeated sprays again and again with me being very specific about our issues, nothing got better.  They are bait and switch sleazy sales guys who care nothing for their customer. Sales person who came to my door said they had cancellations and wanted to fill in. Gave me fake names like, your neighbor ashley or bobby across the street.... Were a pretty tight neighborhood and can assure there are no ashley's or bobby's on my street.

He was very talkative, tried relating with me on a personal level, it got weird and VERY uncomfortable when he started leaning on my door as if he was trying to look i side my house and kept insisting i let him in my home and yard to show me what they do. Thats when i said goodbye and shut the door.

I had to go inside and do research, because he really creeped me out i didnt know if this was a legit company. After a couple hours i went outside to meet up with my neighbors and let the kids run around. Most of them told me they didnt bother opening the door. What bugged me out the most was that their company truck kept driving by, up and down our street. I wish I was lying but i counted over 20 times this truck passed by. Just going up and down. Would not consider this company.

1st time they claimed to have come out but my wife was inside waiting for them & there was no flyer on the door as they claimed there would be. They preset appointments on your behalf. When I would call to change them, had major difficulties reaching a person during business hours. One of the techs even accidentally sprayed me with the poison!

Found it extremely difficult to get away even after my contract was up. After canceling 2X they continued to set up appointments. Only one tech performed well in over a year. I kept requesting him and they would assure me it would be, then another inadequate tech would show up and do a poor job. Avoid!

I would give 0 stars if I could!  Do not trust these crooks!  They came to our door offering an on the spot service contract - my technician is around the block and can work on your home in 20 minutes.  I should have put the red flags up then!  The initial service was quoted to us at $90, and $110 quarterly.  After the service, and still seeing webs around the windows and doors, I called to cancel.  Spoke to 2 individuals.  They called and left messages to confirm the cancellation.   For 2 months, I continued to receive a $210 bill.  When I FINALLY got connected to speak to Paul in charge of accounts, he furnished the statement that I would be responsible for the FULL PRICE of the initial service....$300 for 30 minutes of crappy work!  Our subdivision neighbors all state these bums are terrible to respond to calls and have all canceled over time.  Ridiculous.

These people are scam artists.  If I could give them a negative 5 Star Review I would.  I had two door to door salesmen come in June and they told me all my neighbors are using them that I should too.  I should have stopped them there but they looked so desperate for work and they seemed nice.  I asked them if I can try a one time spray and they said sure. For $99 they would spray once and if I didn't like it then I could stop.  Well they sprayed once and came back in July and I told them to cancel my service so they came anyways and billed me $149.  Apparently the shady salesman lied to my face and in front of my children because I started getting threatening phone calls from Nathan about taking me to collections and that I am now locked into a contract and better pay them or there will be consequences. On top of that all the neighbors who also got illegally locked into this contract are telling me that they still have spiders all over their yards that the stuff they are using isn't even effective for killing spiders.  I'm not sure what kind of a scam these people are running but this is horrible.  I will report them to the Better Business Bureau.  Their boss called me in July and apologized and cancelled my order but here we are November and the threatening phone called have started again and I'm getting billed.  Never use Ecoshield unless you like being screwed over by people and you want a house full of spiders and threatening phone calls.  You are the worst pest company in the history of pest companies.  If anyone else has been scammed by this company as I have please write a report on them to the Better Business Review.  Shut these crooks down before they scam other unsuspecting homeowners of their hard earned cash.

Ecoshield uses deceptive practices by offering you a discount for initial treatment which ends up being an annual contract with stiff penalties if you cancel. Bring out your magnifying glass or you may miss the fine print.

I hired Ecoshield to take care of my scorpion and other pest problems after they knocked on my door and offered me the latest and greatest in fighting these critters. They gave me a huge discount if I hired them right there. After a few months with Ecoshield, my pest problems persisted and I decided to switch to another company. That's when I received a call from Ecoshield about the backcharge (read: cancellation fee) of $175.

The pest control industry in AZ is so competitive that you don't need to settle for an annual contract. I am frustrated, but mostly at myself for trusting without verifying. As for Ecoshield, I'll let the free market decide their fate.

What's up ecoshield? Very unhappy with your service. I have been trying to contact you guys for 2 months with no replay to emails and your  multiple phone numbers have a constant busy signal. You guys leave an automated message saying when you're going to come out and spray well if I'm not going to be there and you have to spray inside there's no way to call you back and change the appointment?? Also within these last two months I've had a scorpion, Black Widow,and red ants and there is no way to contact you to let you know. In the contract if you don't get rid of the pests and you come out to spray again for free oh but wait I can't get ahold of you, how convenient!!!! Complete breach of contract and shady business tactics. I want my money back, and if not settled soon I will be taking legal actions.

***BEWARE!!!***  ***SCAMMER ALERT*** This company is as dishonest as they come. They use bait and switch tactics. They will threaten you. They will trick you into a service contract after explicitly swearing to your face you're not entering into a contract. After you tell them you no longer want their horrible pest control they will turn you into collections without ever sending you a bill, which is for some made up fine because you didn't continue service with them. They claim will be they charged you a special introductory rate of $89 (which I paid immediately at the time of the initial service), but because you didn't continue with monthly services they claim you owe them an additional $171. I specifically asked the sales guy if there was a contract, he said absolutely not and that how they work is they will call you each month and ask if you need their services, you can either schedule an appointment or simply tell them their is no need at the time. So what about the quality of their work and product you may want to know. Simple answer is horrible. I haven't had a scorpion in my house in years before they sprayed outside my house. I did my own pest control in the past but because I was remodeling my pool I haven't had time so I figured I'd take them up on their offer. Big mistake! Within a couple of days of their treatment I found two scorpions in my house! All they did is piss them off and made them more active. When I spay my pest control it's a bug holocaust the next day. When EcoShield sprayed there was nothing of the sort. These guys are bad news bears. Seriously do yourself a huge favor and stay clear away from these jokers.

If I could assign zero stars or black stars, I would. This company's tactic is pushy and ballsy. They LIE and say they've done your neighbors homes. They exaggerate the outcome if you dare to NOT use their services (that you will be bombarded w rats) and they take a polite NO as an invitation to step closer to you and use a tone that insinuates you either didn't hear them or are too stupid to grasp the situation. They hit our NO SOLICITING neighborhood 2 years ago. We bombarded them w complaints and yet now they are back. I called the company back then. They acted like it was a rogue agent. Now I sense it is trained into them.

I was misled by a door to door salesman that I could cancel service with this company after the summer months when temperatures cool and our pest problem subsided. 5 months later I called to cancel services and   was told I would be charged $175 to do so. I have been had by this company. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for exterminator services.

Every visit was a new, inexperienced technician. It's incredibly difficult to get a real human on the phone in order to reschedule appointments or for anything else.

I want to give them a ZERO but it wont let me.

One of their people named Cody came to our house and said he was in the area because they had a cancellation and wanted to know if we needed pest control service. We informed him that we were already using a company that we liked but he said that he could guarantee that their service was much better and he guaranteed it 100 percent and if we didn't like the service he would refund the money. he also stated that since he was the service manager then all we had to do was call him if we had any problems and he would take care of it immediately.

He would not leave our porch so we decided to give the company a try. They fogged around the house which killed our citrus trees and the fly and Miskito problem at the barn it had no effect. we called the company and asked to speak to the service manager Cody but never got a return call. we finally called their dispatch and asked to speak to the service manager Cody and was informed that they did not have a service manager named Cody and the only Cody that worked for them was a salesman.We talked to the manager of the company and told him what had happened and even though he understood and that he was sorry, we were still signed up with their contract.

We told them to cancel our contract and he said no problem but we had to pay their company $181.00 to cancel with them. They continue to call me and demand their money that they say we owe them. Forget the fact that their service didn't work or that they killed our citrus trees. they could care less about that.

Chandler Eco Shield Website down, phones offline. Am a current customer, attempting to reach someone regarding our bi-monthly service, but phone number listed simply plays a message saying my call cannot be completed, and to try again later. Really? Trying their email now, so we'll see. So far not very impressed with service. Nice enough techs, but not very thorough. Have to request they spray inside of garage or in the house. Also, service has been inconsistent. Some visits they'll put down granuels in the grass, other times they'll just spray perimeter and call it a day. I could do that myself. Probably won't be renewing service.

Best pest control company I have ever used and the only one that provides 100% money back guarantee I had a scorpion infestation and they completely got rid of them. Haven't seen one since and I go look every night still....3 words ...three years now

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM. MORE SCORPIONS BEING SEEN THAN BEFORE WE HAD PEST CONTROL. This is our second month I believe with these people after switching from another company. It's been ineffective, they've lied to us, and we've had terrible customer service. I'm extremely disappointed that we switched from our last company for them and we fell for the sales guy's crap. He told us they were so confident in their services that if we saw scorpions or anything in between that that service and the next month's would be free. My husband and I both clarified that MULTIPLE TIMES. It was one of the selling points for us. Wow they're that confident then they have to be effective! We we're wrong about that. The only issues we had with the other company was them showing up without calling us first, and seeing a few scorpions outside. This guy was so confident that we wouldn't see any. That they would get to the root of the problem. So we switched. In the last two weeks we have seen TWO in the house and THREE outside. We have not seen this many since before we had pest control. So I called today to get the in between service and they said no the next month is only free if you have THREE touch ups between services (which is insane- if they're doing THAT BAD anyone in their right mind would switch away from them). The scheduling person (Courtney) also said they could come in an hour for the in between touch up since we've seen so many, but called my husband back 20 minutes later to say oops they actually can't be there till Friday. I told her I was extremely unhappy- being lied to by the sales person AND having to wait until Friday since my 11 month old JUST got back from the hospital and the last thing I want to worry about is him getting STUNG inside the house. She basically just said Sorry then went silent. I told her this is enough to make me want to switch to someone else and she said sorry and went silent again. I just cancelled my service but now I'm worried from looking at other reviews that I'll be charged with a huge fee. I am BEYOND upset with these people. I will tell anyone I know to run for the hills if they come to your door. We wasted 109 dollars this month and last month on a service that did NOTHING. We are switching back to preventive where we pay 72 dollars every other month and have MUCH better results and service.

These people harass the crap out of you.  They never sent a bill (apparently they had the email wrong), never let me know the service was done, and then kept calling, emailing, etc. Once the bill was received, on 2/11, I paid it THAT DAY via e bill pay at my bank. By 2/16 they had already contacted me on three separate occasions wondering where their money was.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WORST EVER. Didnt even help the situation they were supposed to help which was a fly problem that is everywhere in Queen Creek.

Horrible customer service. Called and left a voicemail asking for a call back so that I could schedule my appointment. I never got a call back they simply text me with another appointment time that didn't work. I had to call again and when I explained what was going on the receptionist talked over me. Extremely rude way of handling a frustrated customer. This isn't the first issue I've had with them, thankfully our contract is finally over.

Read through these reviews! This company's standard modus operandi is to send salesman out (cold call) to scare homeowner about impending invasion of bugs. They got my wife to sign up for 5 service calls. After two service calls, we noted that (1) there is no major bug problem at all and (2) their treatments are not particularly effective. We tried to cancel. They refused and said best they could do was suspend service for a couple months. After that, we tried to cancel again. They billed us $105 to cancel. This is a disreputable and unprofessional company. They should be out of business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

If I could give a 3.5 I would...but I can't so here's why I didn't choose 4 stars. So, this company comes to spray every other month. I literally have to call them on the off month for a re-service every.single.month! It's getting kind of annoying. I've been using them for 2.5 yrs now and they might as well just set up a reservice appointment for every month instead of every other month because I'm finding scorpions inside and outside my house after about 3-4 weeks of them servicing. But the customer service is great and they're always happy to schedule me a re-service,  I would just love it if I could find a pest control company that only had to come every other month because the product worked as well as they say it does? So I'm going to test out more companies and see if their product is better/stronger!

It's all about what technician comes out. Not all of them are great and will leave you less then satisfied. However if you reach out and request Deon I promise you will be satisfied. He takes his time and is willing to answer any questions you might have. He will provide tips and tricks to help keep bugs at bay. He always makes sure of what services you need. He does a fantastic and thorough job. I havent ever had an issue with pests after he has been here. He is so polite. He is respectful, always does a knock before entering the house even though I know he is here and needs in and out. This is the guy you want coming out to do pest control. Get Deon! He is your guy! Such a hard worker and it shows!

Today a guy named Andrew came to my door to sell me a service because  a few neighbors were being serviced due to a rat problem.  Just so happens that my husband has been trying to kill a huge beast in our garage for a couple of months. He's obviously smarter than us and much larger than a mouse because we have the biggest glue trays and rat snap traps and he's tracked the glue all over the garage floor as it is no match for this beast. I gladly signed up when he said they will place a bait box to kill the beast! Alex Y showed up at 2pm as promised. He was such a sweet guy and stood guard while I opened the garage for him. I explained I no longer go in the garage without back-up since this devil beast had taken up residence in there. Thank you for coming to my rescue! I'm extremely happy and grateful that I may soon be able to go back into the garage without a loaded 12gauge in my hand!

Wish I would have read some of the negative comments on this company before I signed up with them.  Their service is very bad.  Besides never answering the phone when you have issues, their actual service was very poor.  Called them out to re-treat an area with ants and they walked right past the area (on walk way to my door) and said they treated everything.  Came home and the ants were dancing in the walkway.  Took about a week to get them back and after that treatment.... still ants 2 inches from the first area.

Make sure you watch out for their hook to provide you with a special discount for the first service.  Nothing special about the first service other than if you decide to cancel them later, the back charge you $200 for the special discount you got.

Do it yourself is less hassle and IMO much better than these guys.

The EcoShield guys are always here on time or early, and they're always polite. They always listen to your needs and they take care of business! Definitely the best pest control service we've had! Our bug guy is Robert - we can certainly sleep well at night knowing that there are no nasty bugs in our house! I highly recommend them!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. A young man solicited my home after spaying a neighbor's house. I told him I wasn't interested in the service but he told  me that I could try their service just one time at a discounted rate and if I liked it I could continue. I reluctantly agreed because I had seen a scorpion at my home a week or two ago. I asked him at least three times to make sure 100% that this wasn't a recurring charge that would happen without my permission. He said no it was not. He said they would call to confirm I wanted them to come out again before they did and that there was no obligation to continue whatsoever. I agreed to give them a try. After they sprayed I saw two more scorpions over the next two months and no difference in the bugs that were on my plants. Two months later I received a text message asking me to confirm if I wanted them to return to my home. I replied that I did not want them to come to my house. The next day, they came to my house and supposedly sprayed while I was gone and left a door hanger that they had been there and they charged my credit card $89. I called the office to tell them a mistake had been made. I had to leave a message with a low level employee three times before I finally got an answer, which was that they always have a 12 month contract. In other words, their salesmen was a complete liar and he bait and switched me. It took several more calls before they finally let me out of the contract but they would not refund my money for the unwanted service. I told them if they just made this right and refunded the $89 I would let it go but they would not so I am warning everyone hoping that you do not make the same mistake I did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR CROOKED SALES TACTICS!

This company is a complete scam!!! My story is similar to others on here, unfortunately...
I had a door to door salesman come to my house and tell me that they were running a special. For $99, they would do a one time spray. We didn't sign any contracts- this was a one time treatment. I paid the fee, they did the spray outside of my house. We experienced an influx of mosquitos in our home like never seen before. It almost made our home inhabitable! When EcoShield contacted us a month or two later to schedule another appointment, we told them that NO WAY were we doing anymore treatments, to take us off their calling list, etc... They then called again about a week or two later. We spoke to them and told them there was no way we were having any more treatments done. They transferred me to a manager, in which I explained our horrible experience all over again. The manager said he would take us off the calling list.
That was the last we have heard from them! This was well over 6 months ago. Ecoshield has never sent us anything in the mail in regards to owing them any additional funds. Then today we got a collection letter in the mail for $210!!  Are you kidding me? I am disputing the collection and will be reporting to BBB and AZ Attorney General of Consumer Affairs. I do not take being scammed lightly.

Their guy came to my door with the promise that he could rid the gophers in the yard or my money back, guaranteed, no risk. I insisted that they wouldn't go away but he said I would get my money back if it didn't work. About 6 months later I called for a refund because the gophers were overrunning the place and they said no guarantees on gophers and would not give me my money back. They lied!  This place is a scam.

Just had sales agents call on my house.. Told them i had service with another company, not interested, etc.. Email me info to look at chemical agents they use. Give my email address. Email comes with a fully filled in and initialed/signed service agreement for payment that I NEVER agreed on and actually said 100% not interested but only wanted to review their chemicals. The fact that the sales rep signed and executed a contract is deceptive and illegal. Called the company and they confirmed an active account with active servive agreement was just set up. SCAM SCAM

We started with Ecoshield almost 2 years ago and every summer we still have a scorpion problem. I was stuck in contract last summer and gave them another chance this summer, but we found 17 scorpions in our backyard. We've had 4 in our house within the last month and they're babies. I feel that's unacceptable when having regular pest control for almost 2 years. The only thing Ecoshield seems to get rid of is roaches, but definitely not scorpions. They are extremely hard to get ahold of. I had to call the new customer number to get someone to answer.

They are a Scam.  A Sales Rep named Cameron Wilson came to our house and asked if we wanted service.  We did sign up but I asked him 3x can I cancel anytime.  His answer was yes.  We tried to cancel and they are asking us to pay something like $200 to break our contract.   We were completely scammed.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!  Find a company that is honest and say what they mean.

The sales person who came to our home said they were in the area doing treatments and would offer us a special price for treatment. My fiance was told that while they prefer we continue the service for a year or more we can cancel at any time. They didn't mention that this would nullify the special pricing we were offered. Since we've been seeing bugs around our property and in our home, we wanted to cancel the service and start using Bug Gaurdian since we never had these issues while using that company. That's when we found out about the additional fees that are due.

If these people come to your door run for the hills. Dishonest fraudulent opportunists misrepresentation. Was told 50 dollars for initial service and 35 monthly only to discover it is actually 125 for 5 minutes of service and 120 a month for 24 months CONTRACT!! Used scare tactics that my little dogs could die. Then when I attempted to cancel service by phone within 3 business days per arizona law no return call and forced to spend another 25 dollars for certified mail. Finally received a call and told contract cancelled but I am responsible for the 125 dollar service fee for the poison they put in my back yard after being assured that they are eco friendly and do not use poison AT ALL . Refused to let me pay the 50 dollars that I was quoted and on my security camera footage. So I am out 140 dollars for absolutely nothing. These people are making their money scamming home owners period. Who pays 120 a month for pest control? Based in Chicago also. How convenient. I only chose 1 star because I couldn't post my review without it.

SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!!! ECOSHIELD IS A SCAM!!!! Here is how the SCAM works, they will send  a very pushy, sleazy and desperate sales guy (my guy was CAMERON) to your door and lie about how they just sprayed your neighbor's house, and so you should purchase their service, because your neighbor's bugs will now come to your house.   If you purchase any kind of service from them, they will ask for your CC # and signature to approve the service, but secretly they will use your signature to sign you up for 24 month pest control service.  When you find out about the lie and call them to let them know you didn't sign a contract they will demand hundreds of dollars of penalty for cancelling a contract, they say theyhave your signature and now can send it to collections (Landon the manager from their office told me this) . Lucky for me, next to my signature I wrote 2 months service only and kept a copy of the invoice, so when they demanded $250 for cancelling the contract I showed them the invoice and threatened to call the Police on them, that's when Landon offered to dissolve the contract.

Shady business practices and partial service at best!  

1)  I emailed to cancel in writing 8/24/17 and explained why ( i.e. same spider webs over three consecutive visits in obvious places, new spiders on home and glass sliders, ants everywhere and they never re-bait rat traps unless I ask).   I also installed video cameras showing shoddy super fast partial service.  Days pass, no reply
2)  I called 8/29/17 and spoke with Rebecca.  She verbally told me she would cancel the account, email me a receipt (per my request) to confirm cancellation and that I would hear back about whether they would bill me for the last service...  Never heard anything back again
3)  9/8/17  Received 2nd automated email that I owed $89 for the poor service call that I had called and explained and also cancelled their service because of.
4)  9/11/17 Still no confirmation of cancellation and still asking for full pay for partial or unacceptable service.  Still have same spiders and new webs as well as ants and no bait in rat traps.  I called once again and spoke to Rebecca who then transferred me to Landon.  Speaking to Landon is like speaking to a person that has the ability to verbalize but not comprehend or use critical thinking skills.  If service is partial at best the right thing to do is listen to your customers and at minimum, partial bill if your customers are not happy.  Remember I have video of several of their partial treatments and reason to believe that if you are not there, they will take the easy way out (as evidenced by the increase in insects).  Overall this companies poor service seems to trickle down from the office to the technicians.

I would recommend going with another company that actually has the ability to listen, treats the inside of your home occasionally by scheduling with their customers personally and that takes pride in doing what they are hired to do.

I spoke with Rokkan the other day about servicing our home. He was very upbeat, professional, friendly and knowledgeable on the subject. He provided me with some great information and also offered an amazing deal for the service they were providing. I'm already taking care of the bug situation at the home but I was so amazed by his service, especially because he was going door to door in this AZ heat, that I wanted to recommend to anyone that is looking in to the service to ask for Rokkan!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!  The salesman came knocking on my door right after I moved in.  He claimed he services all of my neighbors surrounding me. (I found out later he was lying).  I said my biggest concern was scorpions.  He guaranteed they would get rid of the scorpions.  I was reluctant to sign up at first because I didn't want to sign a contract.  My concern was being able to cancel them if it wasn't working.  He said if I was unhappy with their service for any reason I could cancel the contract without penalty.  4 months I've had them and I have more scorpions in the house now than when they first started coming, almost every time the guy has been late, and the same spider webs and wasp nests they claim to clean are still there after he leaves.  I called and cancelled and now they are trying to charge me $150 cancellation fee.  They say in the fine print that it states I will be penalized.  That it doesn't matter what the salesman told me.  So, basically, the salesman will tell you any BS he can to get you to sign, their service is sub par, and then they penalize you.  DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

Absolutely the worst business I've ever encountered! Shady door-to-door sales guys using super aggressive tactics. They ignore verbal instructions asking them to leave, even when I tell them I already have a regular, wonderful pest control service. This is not a one time occurrence, it has happened on numerous occasions and I've asked them to leave every single time. Unfortunately, they came by my house again on a day my mother was over watching my son while I was at work. My regular pest control was scheduled for the same day. When they came to the door, she thought they were my regular pest control service. Long story short, they told her I hadn't paid (going along with the appointment she thought I had), and took her credit card and had her sign what turned out to be a two year contract! After I found out what happened, I immediately searched for the company phone number and call every number multiple times. Not one time was I able to reach anyone, nor did anyone ever return my voicemails in which I explained what happened. We've had to fight this through the credit card company and the BBB.

I started with this company with many many promises of which were never kept. Its impossible to get someone to call you back, I left 3 messages and finally got a call back a week later with no concern for me the paying customer, I wanted to cancel my contract since I still have pests which they said I would not. They never sprayed the backyard or the inside of the house except the first visit. They are fast to take your money but fall far from doing their job! I would never ever refer this company to anyone! I spoke with Jack who is in charge and he stated I could not speak to anyone else and he could not do anything for me and is still charging me $175 to cancel a contract that they failed to follow! So please be aware this company only wants your money!! I will be filing  with the BBB and making sure everyone I know stays away from Ecosheild Pest Control!!! I had to select a rating which should be no stars so its that bad!
