Michael Scott came out and gave us an estimate around $6,000. He never did go inside my attic. Never got the work finished but got my money real quick. We were to be catching raccoons that were in my attic. And employee had told me that he did not spot any feces in my attic. Which was happy because I didn't have to pay the $2,000 then to have it cleaned. The employee went back just car called somebody came back in went back in my attic then came out of my attic and said oh I found it It was way over here in your attic. Funny because Michael Scott must have told him a lie because Michael Scott never went into my attic nobody had until the employee had gone up there and found nothing. I thought we were setting up raccoon traps. Later I find out they're setting mouse traps. Why??? I asked employee why are you setting mouse traps when we're trying to get raccoons? He said what are we really? Are you freaking kidding me. I said yes I can catch a mouse. Why would I have you catch a mouse when I can do that we are catching raccoons. Everybody was so confused of what they were doing nobody got anything right. Even by reading each other's notes that they said they were giving each other. I told him just go I was tired of all the BS my husband just gone through cancer treatment we were going through COVID I was mentally drained. It was just time for them to go I didn't want that to see their faces again. But they got my money. So take your money and run elsewhere do not go with this company they're a piece of you know what. They just lie, can't get their story straight and runs with your money. Run the other way with your money. I will not give them any stars they don't deserve even a half of one.

I spent literally thousands of dollars with this company over 4-5 months.  They promised to aggressively attack a rat issue I was having in a home I was selling.   They accomplished nothing.   The rats were as busy as ever as of yesterday.  

Called in a different service today.  They found the rat's nest in less than an hour.   They are charging me less than 500 for removal.

Beware-don't use this company! We paid over $2,000. for a year contract with an additional $109 monthly on top of this to get rid of a mice problem! They over promised and definitely under delivered! Rude employees and technicians. Completely disappointed!!!

Why does this company continue to charge me.? I have called, canceled service they take away charges then 2 days later they chart me again. Looks like they may not only be reported to the AG for fraud but be seeing me in court. No one should ever use this company as they abuse you with over billing!

Critter control was an absolute nightmare of an experience. One year after hiring critter control, we still had rats living inside our walls. Technicians would swear up and down time and time again that there was absolutely no way the rats could be in the vents; they only admitted that *maybe* there were rats in the vents, when presented with a rat turd literally hanging out of a vent in the ceiling. After many, many visits where the technicians categorically refused to consider the possibility that the rats were coming in from the roof, and refused to even dignify that possibility with a look at the roof, we hired another roofing company for a separate project that did, in fact determine...the rats are coming in through the roof. After a year of paying for pest control treatments from Critter Control, we finally realized that we had been scammed. We are first time homeowners, and Critter Control took advantage of our willingness to believe their supposed expertise. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES use Critter Control, particularly if you are first time homeowners, unless you enjoy throwing money down the drain while listening to rats fight above your head.

I found some droppings in our attic. So I called Critter Control to come out to evaluate the problem and provide me with a quote to address it.

Jon came out to the house and did a thorough inspection, then told us that we have roof rats and from the size and quantity of the droppings, that it was probably two and they were likely to have babies soon which would lead to an even more serious infestation. He spent a lot of time talking about the severe health risk of cleaning up the droppings on our own and the importance of paying for their clean-up and sanitation services.

The quote they provided was a little over $4K to trap and clean up the mess. It seemed like a lot of money, so I brought in another company to give me a 2nd estimate.

The other company advised us that it was very clearly a single squirrel and the problem would likely be solved by simply trimming the trees away from the house and putting some chicken wire over the entry point (dryer vent on the roof). So we did. And that fixed it.

They did put traps in the attic, just to be sure, but since the squirrel couldn't enter the house anymore, nothing was caught. And they quickly swept and hand-vac the droppings. Three months later, no more droppings, no more squirrel. All for only $600.

So be wary of these Critter Control folks. I thought Jon was very nice, he seemed quite knowledgeable, but he attempted to use fear as a selling tool to convince us to spend nearly 7x what their competitors do.

Looking at these other Yelp reviews, I realize I should have checked them out here before calling.

I do not recommend Critter Control. I paid over $1200 for a rat inside the house. They came out and quoted and I agreed. We told the rep who did the quote we can only do Monday's or early evening after 5pm. We received a call around 1pm that they would be there in 10 minutes to put mess to cover the pipes on the roof.  They came out again on a different day to put 2 traps outside. At no time did they do anything that was in the contract for the inside of the house to catch the rat. We ended up cancelling the service and asked for a manager to reach out to us and we have yet to receive a call. We ended Up purchasing a variety of rat traps our self to try to rectify the issue. DO NOT USE CRITTER CONTROL a complete waste of money and appears they are all about taking a large chunk of cash and do not comply with their own contract.

Used them to get rid of some critters in my attic. They trapped and blocked off the rats that were getting in and leaving a mess. Were quick to respond and did a great job.
Highly recommend them if you are having pest or animal issues

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I called to setup an appointment because I was hearing loud sounds in my attic/crawl space that I believed to be birds. The lady on the phone told me they could come out the next day and they would do a free inspection, discuss what it was and let me know how much then I could choose what to do. Scott came out the next day, 4/26/22, as soon as he opened the crawl space he said he saw a bird that wasn't doing well. He came down went to his truck and started working to get the bird out. There ended up being a second bird as well that he got out. He told me he'd have to kill one of them because it wasn't doing well, I did not like this answer as I'm an animal lover. Scott then told me I had a ton of rat droppings and would to get it cleaned and sanitized. He came down and said he was going to put together a quote and talk to me. 25 minutes later he came back inside and started going over a $2100 quote plus $109 a month fee, oh and this is when he told me I owed $700 for him getting the birds out. He never once told me he was charging to remove the birds, nor did he bother to tell me it would cost me more than half a paycheck for me. I was floored and stunned. I told him I was informed that I'd be told before any work was done that I'd have to pay for and he replied I just saw the bird and got to work, I'll give you $100 off for that. I was still pissed, but I didn't have a choice but to pay. Scott continued on to tell me that my attic was connected to my neighbors attics (they are townhomes) and that anything that got into their attic could get into mine. He also said was air vents weren't sealed and he was worried that droppings would come down into my kitchen/living space. He then showed me a picture of another clients rat droppings he found to try and scare me. I told him no to the other services and decided to get another quote. Truly Nolen came out yesterday, 4/27/22, and their inspector pretty much told me everything Scott told me was a lie, and also that he wouldn't have charged me anything to get the birds out. I'm fact he was at one of my neighbors homes yesterday as well and they had birds in their attic. He got them out and didn't charge anything. He informed me that there are firewalls at both ends of my townhome and what is in the neighbors attic can't get into mine. He also said my vents are sealed and droppings cannot get into them. On top of that, the droppings were very minimal, and they were nice NOT rat droppings. He did not recommended any of the services that Scott did, and in fact he was upset that someone tried to scare me into paying all that money. He said he has been doing this work for 22 years, his job is now sales, but he did not try and sale me anything because I did not need it. I'm so thankful and grateful for his honesty. I'm truly appalled by the experience I had with Scott. I called the company and made 2 complaints yesterday, but I'm sure I won't hear anything back. Lesson well learned.

We had a pigeon coming and going through the return vent on roof. Scott came out to check the entry point and went through the attic. The amount of pigeon poop in the vent was absurd. The price was a bit high but the amount of work they did made it tolerable. The health risk outweighed the price to sanitize, clean and seal our vents.  This took most of the day. Ray was our technician and very professional and very sensitive to clean up after himself. I would recommend this company.

We had 2 pigeons in the chimney that needed to come out via the fireplace (the flue is too small to net them and get them out through the top).

The service was very good.  I called on Tuesday afternoon; Scott came out to do an estimate Wednesday morning.  Garrett came out quickly afterwards to get the pigeons out.  Both gentlemen were professional, and Garrett did the work quickly and well.  Those pigeons were out in 20 minutes.

The loss of 2 stars is for the astronomical price it took.  $1100 to get the pigeons out; it took 20 minutes and no special equipment.  I just hate birds and doubly hate pigeons, and I would never be able to hold one.  I realize that there's a premium for professional services, and I would have thought that half that price would be more reasonable, but it was either pay or deal with it myself.  That would have been a disaster.  The service was great, but the price was awful.

These people deserve no stars.  The news had story they charged lady over$800 to remove rattle snake during the day. Normal charge is $100-500 depending on time of day when called.  
They took advantage of a senior lady.  Shame

I called and made an appointment for the problem with opossums and possibly mice. The appointment was set for 4 pm on Monday.  I left work early to make this appointment and saw a message to call Patrick. I called and he said he was double booked and could not come so we arranged for him to come on Wednesday at 4 pm. Again I left work early to be on time for this appointment. I called and his voicemail stated that the mailbox was full so that I would not be able to leave a message. I called the (844) 408-7527 and spoke to Alexandra sp? She did not find my appointment with the referral # I was given. I was told to wait for Patrick to call. It is 3:46pm and still no call no text. I will be looking for another company. I am not wasting my time and money with this very unprofessional company.I waited past the time of the new appointment 4pm. No phone call no text message. They will not be getting my money ever!

The actual technician was great. Knowledgeable!

But the estimate that was agreed to when we met with the manager and the work performed was not the same. When we called them to inquire they basically told us that even though they didn't do all the work included in the estimate, it was still the same price. Super disappointed. Terrible way to treat customers.

I called to book a consultation. The technician never showed up for our appointment time. When I called back I had a truly horrible experience with the woman in the call center. After explaining that I was calling to check on the status of the technician the woman said she could not help me and attempted to end the call. When I persisted she became frustrated and said the best she could do is send a message to the local office. When I asked for email confirmation of that she said no. At this point I said that it fell like she was just trying to get me off the phone and asked to speak to a supervisor. The woman proceeded to stark speaking over me. When I toned matched and asked her to not speak over me she hung up on me. Terrible most disrespectful experience. I called in inquiring snd left escalated. Why have a call center when they won't lead with empathy and offer solutions? Save yourself the time and torture and find another company.

We hired this company to handle a supposed problem with kangaroo rats at our home in AZ while we were in CA. They came out and set bait stations, charged us $1,000 with 2 following months of $100 each month. The sales guy never updated us on anything. They didn't do what they said they would and numerous phone calls to multiple offices, did not receive any return phone calls. Total fraud, rip-off company. Horrible customer service!

I've been using Critter Control since May of this year. We have a rodent issue in our attic and yard. They send an inspector out to look at the property and, in our case, check the attic to see where the breaches are. They then dispatch a tech to do the exclusions. Our initial inspection was very thorough and several areas were sealed. We paid $2300 for a one year contract to service the outside bait stations as well as continue inspections when necessary. My complaint about Critter Control is not about the technicians or inspectors they've sent to my home. They have all been excellent. My complaint is about how the company is run. It has never been clear who my local contact person is to arrange for service. I call a regional number and my issue is sent to my local manager. I rarely get a callback from anyone confirming an appointment.  I finally got the name and number of a local manager and her voicemail inbox was always full not allowing her to take messages. It seems that the management at Critter Control is CONSTANTLY changing which means that service is EXTREMELY POOR. I have had promises for technicians to show up and they never do. Ive called repeatedly and been assured that someone will come and they show up at 5pm when it gets darks soon and they cannot do a thorough inspection. I've requested the earliest appointment from the new manager (manager #3 by my count), and am promised an 8am time only to get a call that they'll be there in the afternoon. The way the company is run is very, very poor and it seems the communication within the company is poor. Unfortunately, I would not ever recommend this company to anyone even though the technicians are very thorough and knowledgeable.
On another note...there are STILL rodents in our attic and none have been found in the traps that they've set.

Please do not allow this company to take advantage of you! Full disclosure: I did sign a contract for the trapping and relocation of a racoon that had been visiting my yard and leaving souvenirs. The price was much higher than anyone else because of their supposed quality service. The serviceman came out and sprayed around the trapping area to get rid of human scent. He then set out two traps with a can of cat food in each as the bait with the promise to return every couple of days to check and renew the bait. Didn't happen as promised After seeing him once more in the next two weeks, I called and left a message to have the trap removed. Had to leave a message since most of my calls were not picked up. I spoke with the salesman and told him I didn't feel I should have to pay the remaining amount. Don't worry, I'll take care of it We never had a visit from the racoon so not trapped or relocated. When the traps were removed, I was immediately charged on my credit card for the remaining $989 of the $1489 I had agreed to (my wife is deathly afraid of these rodents so happy wife, happy life. I never heard back from Critter Control even after leaving several messages to try and have a conversation about this. I was unable to resolve through the credit card company because of the signed contract which was the only response they got.  So, save your money and just lay out some cinnamon and chili powder to get rid of racoons. It works better than this company

We are extremely grateful to Tyler with Critter Control, who is conscientious, personable, punctual, and very knowledgeable about wildlife. We researched a lot of pest control businesses, and this company is one of the few that utilizes humane trapping and relocation of wildlife whenever possible.
Tyler went above and beyond. While sealing our attic and roof he discovered and alerted us to issues with wiring, and a build up of dryer lint in a vent - both of which were potential fire hazards that we were able to resolve. If not for Tyler, we would not have known about these problems. He also provided great advice on how to humanely avoid future problems. Thank you, Tyler and Critter Control!

Their sales person met with me and told me what it was going to cost for them to do exclusion and pest control to rid my house of roof rats and that I'd receive an invoice detailing what would be done.  One invoice was for Exclusion - didn't say what that meant - what would be done, how many visits were included.  The other was for Enchanced Rodent Control.  Again no mention of what that meant, how many visits or what would be done.  The inspection was cursory but the first visit by a tech for exclusion showed promise.  He put chicken wire across the opening into the attic and worked very hard.  He was the only one who did anything.  He found a dead rat in a trap left by the previous exterminating company.   After almost $1500 not one rat was caught, service people didn't show up for over half of the appointments, communication with me and within the company to the techs was almost non-existent.  One time when no one showed up I was told I wasn't on the schedule.  Then I was told the tech called in sick the day before so they took him off the schedule which just erased my appointment and no one called to tell me.  The last time someone was out he said he was too big to even check the traps in the attic but he would put 2 bait stations out outside the the house AND I was charged a monthly service charge for that visit.  Those were the first bait stations that were put out during the entire process.  Other techs didn't even mention them or were out of them.  This company is part of Orkin.  Some calls I got showed Orkin on the caller id.  Look elsewhere.

Best company every, solved our problem and for under the cost I thought.  I saw a review about feral cat removal, they said they did not even do that job.  Great company and great service.  Just plain good people.  I love how people post reviews when they have no idea what they are talking about.

I had service by this company and the price was OUTRAGEOUS!  No animal was ever found and all they did was set a trap and come check it every 2 days.  I spoke with the manager who was unempathetic and not understanding.  All for $889!  No animal found.  Traps removed.  The End!  I would never recommend this company, it is a true rip off!

The proposal I received for my pigeon issue with getting some screens placed around my solar panels by Critter Control was ridiculously over priced! I couldn't believe how much they were asking. Also only a 30 day warranty came with their job which I also found shocking. Tyler who came out I felt was trying to make it sound like the job they were needing to do was going to be so much harder than usual due to the way my panels were placed on my roof. Went with another company who was over 1/3 cheaper and came with a lifetime warranty. Shop around people bc I don't see this company doing anything but ripping off innocent people.

I had high hopes and moderate expectations when another pest control company recommended them to me. I was hesitant because they were charging twice the going rate. They reassured me with promises that they would solve my problem. However, the glowing promises they made were never fulfilled. They promised to take care of the initial problems within 10-14 days. They showed up for less than 30 minutes each of 4 times in those 14 days, then didn't communicate directly, by phone, nor by e-mail regarding follow-up for another 2 weeks, expecting to begin monthly visits without some of the initial necessary exclusions being completed. When we complained, promises were made that someone would be out the next day. No one ever showed. This happened three times. I and my family worked a lot longer and harder to solve the problem as best we could. I regret very much that we spent nearly $5k for very little proof of their work and very little result from their efforts. We achieved better with self effort and very little cost. Save yourself money and either do it yourself or at least split the bill in half by going elsewhere.

Nothing but problems and unkept promises. On 1/4 the salesman, Scott, inspected the property, confirmed infestation of roof rats on the roof/crawl space,  and proposed plan to install traps and bait stations on roof to draw rats out of crawl space; return to property every 1-2 days to inspect traps and remove dead rats; when no more activity, seal vents on roof, remove traps, and sanitize roof. Promised tech would come on 1/5. All this for $5,500. On 1/6, tech from Vegas came, said he was here to seal all the vents. When I explained that was not correct, he said he wasn't given any information and he had never done a house like mine (flat roof, no attic). I called the salesman and the director, Mike, requesting that they explain to the tech what needed to be done. After they spoke, the tech said he put traps and bait stations on the roof and sealed all the vents but one. He said they would be back to check the traps in a month.  I called Scott as this was not the plan and he said the rats in the crawl space would be able to get out of 1 vent, and techs would come to check the traps every 2 days. On 1/8 no tech came to check the traps. On 1/9 no tech came to check the traps. On 1/10 no tech came to check the traps. On 1/11 a tech came and said he had removed all the traps on the roof, sealed the last vent, and sanitized the roof. Yet he had not trapped any roof rats! I called Scot and again complained that the techs had no idea about the plan sold to me. He assured me that a tech would be out that day to replace the traps, unseal the vent, and techs would return every 2 days to check the traps. He also promised that the roof would be re-sanitized after there was no more activity. The tech never showed that day, and did not show on 1/13. I plan on filing a dispute with my credit card company and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I also have to start over with a new company as the roof rats are alive and well on my roof.  Buyer BEWARE.

Two years ago I started hearing scratching sounds coming from my ceiling and walls.  I live in a condominium and originally thought it might have been the neighbor's dog of a tree branch rubbing against the house in the wind but it wasn't long before I heard it in the ceiling and realized it was an animal.  I called an exterminator and two men came out and inspected my property including the yard, garage and attic.  They said they saw droppings in the garage (which I failed to see even when they pointed it out) and came to a quick conclusion that we had roof rats.  I agreed to service so they had another guy come out later and he set traps and checked them weekly for a month.  They never caught anything.

One day I looked out my Arcadia door and saw a squirrel on my patio.  My cat saw it too and went nuts.  I was tempted to let the cat chase it but my wife was worried it might have rabies.  I started researching squirrel removal and found Critter Control.

Casey was my technician and went up on the roof and saw that something had chewed through the stucco and gotten into the attic.  He set a few traps and said he'd be back in a few days to check them.  It only took six hours to catch the squirrel and I could hear it rocking back and forth inside he trap which was up on the roof.  I contacted Casey and he came by and showed me the squirrel he caught.

Instead of killing it, the squirrel was taken into the Tonto National Forest and released, so humane treatment is a plus.

He also sealed up the holes and checked all the attic vents to make sure nothing could get in.

Unfortunately a few weeks later I heard scratching in the attic again so I called him up and he checked his work and everything was still intact.  Since I lived in an attached unit he surmised that they were getting in from the neighbor's unit and needed permission to go onto their property.  I contacted the HOA and he got permission and set more traps.  He caught more squirrels and fixed some more holes and I got the HOA to reimburse me for the cost of the service because this had been a widespread problem in my neighborhood.  Because of my contacting them, Critter Control has gotten a lot of business in my neighborhood and I occasionally see Casey's truck parked in front of one of my neighbor's homes.  Since he fixed up my next door neighbor's unit, I haven't heard any more scratching so I think I can safely say that their service provided me with a permanent solution to my problem.

I had my basement window wells and other openings professionally sealed to prevent invasive small animals out of my back yard and I am very happy with the work. The technician Tyler was courteous and the work he performed was top notch.

My neighbor recently had Critter Control do some work for them.  They are very happy with their service.  While on the job, I watched technician Tyler go about his work.  He seemed to take his time and be very conscientious. I also took the opportunity to ask Tyler some questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If/when I need this type of service, I'm calling Critter Control and asking for Tyler.

I can't really review the work done by CC.  But I CAN tell you that my bid from The Pigeon Guy was only 1/3 of what CC quoted and it included more.  I gave TPG the job and the tech was timely, professional and...no pigeons.  Yay!

Diego Ortiz was my technician. He was extremely informative and knowledgeable.
Very honest. I would highly recommend this company.

As it turned out we did not have any critters. There was no service or trip charge!

I would definitely use them again!

Our regular pest control service referred to us to Critter Control to handle an unexpected bee problem.   Two small holes were made on the side of our home near the air conditioners (unknown as to how holes were made) and bees had started to move in.  Critter Control was very responsive and was at our home the next day.   Our technician was Tyler Davis who was professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and most important, he eliminated our problem.  He thoroughly explained the process to remedy the situation, injected repellent and sealed their points of entry.  He told us to expect some bees would still be in the area for 2 to 4 days.  There were a few for 2 days and we have been bee-free since.    Would definitely recommend this company and would request Tyler for service.

Joe was a nice guy. He inspected the house and advised of where the rats can get into the garage. He also deduced that the rats had invaded the flower bed and made a home in there. He set traps and said that he would follow up. He would check the traps, dispose of the rats and re-bate as needed. He also said that he would seal up the openings to the garage where a rat had entered. He did not follow through as promised. I had to dispose of a rat myself. Also the rats licked the bait off the traps and he did not re bait as agreed. He stopped answering my texts. I spent $320 and I still have rats, and I'll have to seal the garage myself. Basically it was a waste of money.
Attempts to resolve the matter with management have been ignored. Critter Control is nothing more than an answering service that doles out work to independent contractors.

This company is worth your trust and your dollars. I used them to trap and humanely relocate a family of tree squirrels that decided my 70 foot pine tree wasn't good enough anymore and moved into my attic. Not good. So, Critter Control to the rescue! All 4 critters captured in 24 hours, relocated as a family, and we are at peace since they also fixed up the entry points on the house.

Kristen in the office, you're amazing, girl, thanks for the responsiveness. Trapper Casey, well done my man! And you even braved the attic repair on a 120 degree forecasted day! Simply professional service and highly efficient.

No ripoff attempts, expert knowledge in their field, superior equipment.

We called this company out for a potential bat problem at our home.  The owner is first-rate and I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
