Armor-Kote Garage Floors

After decades of wanting epoxy coated floors, I finally got it on my 3rd house.

Called up Armor-Kote after a friend who had them do his garage recommended them. Armor-Kote was quick to schedule one of their sales reps, Gary, to come out to provide a quote and provide samples. Once I selected the color I wanted, I scheduled an install date which was a few weeks out; they are real busy. On the install date,  Toarek, Jamal, & Spencer showed up promptly at 6am and began preping the garage with taping along the baseboards and cleaning the floor and expansion joint groves. Soon they were grinding the top layer to get a good clean surface for the epoxy primer. But first they installed a temporary 50Amp circuit breaker in my electrical panel to ensure that they did not overload any of my 15 and 20 amp circuits; that was a pleasant surprise. But that grinder is massive.  

First kote was prime in the color of your base. Then while wet the throw down your selected flakes. That has to dry for a few hours before removing the excess flakes. Then you get 2 coats of clear cote epoxy onto of that with dry time between each.

The end result is a beautifully finished garage floor to enjoy and make neighbors envious of how clean and beautiful your floor is.

Our neighbors, Scott & Pam, two blocks over showed us their Armor-tote flooring and we were so wowed with how it looked we knew this is who we were going to use to do ours.  We're very happy with our new epoxy coated garage floors.  Shane's crew were punctual, conscientious and courteous.   They did an amazing job.  It was a great experience working with Shane, he made this process seamless.   We just moved into our new home this week.   We have two new sets of neighbors on our block that were walking by at different times and noticed our flooring and asked my husband who we used.  One couple just got their flooring done Thursday and they other has their's scheduled.   We highly recommend Armor-kote - it speaks for itself.

We had our garage floor completed and it really looks great. Shane was friendly and not pushy (a lot of competitors gave me the hard sell). The workers showed up on time and ready to work. What a great experience- this is how it's supposed to be, the customer pays for the job and in exchange the business provides great service. I also want to add that the workers were very neat in the application. It was a pleasant experience and after getting a total of 4 quotes I'm glad I went with Armor Kote.

Just moved into a new home and called a few different companies to get quotes to epoxy my garage. I had some who didn't respond, some who responded days later and then there was Gary from Armor-Kote who showed up exactly on time to complete an estimate. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He had a good positive vibe about him. We accepted the estimate on the spot. Their pricing is competitive with the others in town, but what set them apart for me was the service.

The installers Maurice and Alex came out to do the work. They showed up on time and did a great job.

I need to start by saying I haven't had any work done by Armor Kote.  Unfortunately my situation does not fit into their scope of work offerings or I would have hired them without reservation. I love my new Garage floor. We bought a home with potentially 40 years of oil, grease and whatever else leaks from cars, covering the garage floor. Getting the job done wasn't high on our list but when it came up, we did our research. Armor-Kote had great reviews so I had Shane over to get a quote. I'm a good judge of character and knew Shane was a sales man, but that he wasn't pitching me on a sub-standard product. I signed a contract for the floor to be coated in the "Tuxedo" colors. The guys showed up on time the following week and got to work. They were professional every step through the process. They communicated with us throughout the approx 6 hour process. They took the time to discuss care of the floor in the short term and past the curing process. The employees are as good as their management.

Overall the job came out well. However the excess chips were blown about the front yard. Also, was suprised that a request for a small amount of touch up material was denied as I had a small repair to complete at the bottom of a cabinet.

We started the process from out-of-state, so we were able to schedule for after our arrival.  We picked out our floor colors from their website.
On the day of installation, these guys were right on time, very courteous and professional.  They started at 6am and were finished by noon.

It's only been a couple of days, but already our floor looks amazing and we take comfort in knowing that there is a great warranty in place and if we have any issues, we can reach out to them and be taken care of.

I contacted Armor-Kote as I was having a home built and wanted the garage to be a place we would want to hang out. Shane was awesome to communicate with and very accommodating as my closing date was pushed back a number of times. A friend had just used Armor-Kote and initially referred me, so that is why I contacted AK originally.  We finally had the appointment yesterday and we LOVE how the garage came out. I can see this adding tremendous value to our home from a livability standpoint, but also for future resale.  I feel the price I paid was excellent and the workmanship was great. Amazing, amazing, amazing.

My first contact with Armor-Kote was to inquire about having our garage floor epoxied.
I spoke with Shane and he explained what the company does and what to expect on the day of instulation.  Shane sent a color scheme for us to choose what we wanted.  There is no nonsense with this company.  From my first call I knew what the cost would be.  They dont try to up charge you or convince you to purchase anything you dont need.  
On the day of install the guys arrived on time and were ready to go, and boy they never stopped.  Our garage floor looks fantastic.  In fact we keep opening the door just to make sure it belongs to us.
I would highly recommend Armor-Kote to anyone who is thinking about having their garage floor done without hesitation.

Shane runs a very honest business. We called a couple of companies including Armor-Kote based on the recommendations of neighbors who had their floor installed a year ago and were pleased with how it held up.

The quote is for the whole job, they didn't add annoying up charges like the the stem wall, which other companies don't include.

We used the Supreme High Gloss in Dakota Grey, which looks just beautiful and holds up to tire marks.

The guys arrived as promised and the floor was done in a few hours. They were courteous and professional.

What a company! From the initial call to get everything going to the install was flawless.  Can't say enough of how easy the process went.

I was given a time of 6 A.M. and I started pulling out my cars around 5:55 and I could see a truck in the distance parked but could not make out who it was.  I pulled my last car out and as I did they drove up and waved.  I walked over and they explained to me the process and how long they would be.  I let them to work and without hesitation they were busy.  They stopped only to let the process cure and were back at it.  I have a camera in the garage which shows how hard these guys work.  I went out a couple of times to make sure they did not need anything and also when I was leaving and coming back.  They are very professional and polite even when I came out to ask them some more questions about the process they took the time and explained it to me.  Top notch company from Shane down to the workers I would recommend them highly.  I do like to review and will update this in 6 months or sooner on how things are holding up.  Tomorrow will be the first day I can drive on it.  Did I mention Shane is awesome.  Thanks again Shane Patriotic Phil!!

The guys arrived early, worked all day, and did a great job. Very reasonably priced and really professional. Gary and Shane were awesome; communicative and easy to work with. Scheduling was a bit far out, so they put me on a floating cancellation list. They tell you they have a slot open with 48 hours notice. They were scheduling in late July but I got in 3 weeks earlier by being on the list.

From the beginning when Shane came to provide an estimate, I knew this was the right company to install epoxy flooring in our garage.  He was prompt, professional and straight forward on the price and product descriptions.  Then, three weeks later, the installation crew (Mo and Alex) arrived and began the coating process.  They were GREAT.  Mo walked me through the process which involves many steps and made suggestions regarding some of the issues for the existing concrete floor and stem walls.  This was an all-day job and they were very careful clean-up at the end of day before leaving.  We are in the waiting stage (48 hours) but the floor looks amazing.  We could not have hoped for anything better.  Thanks Shane, Mo and Alex for a fabulous result.

This company is top notch. They know their stuff. Mo and Benny were on time and got to work immediately and once done they actually clean up and do not leave you with a mess. My garage floors are gorgeous and I highly recommended this company.

We just bought a new house and wanted epoxied garage floors. I researched a number of places and kept coming back to Armor-Kote. Shane came out and gave an estimate. Our only disappointment was the lead time but we were told that if someone cancelled then we might get moved up earlier.

Someone needed to change to a later date and we were lucky enough to get their slot, just as Shane had promised. Shane committed to having his crew at our house at 6:00 AM and, sure enough, they were there at 6:00. They were at the house for about 8 hours for a 2-car and a 1-car garage. They were extremely neat, professional and friendly.

We are very happy with the job they did and I definitely recommend them.

I got quotes from 5 companies and Armor Kote had the best product at the best price point.  They don't play any games and they charge a flat rate per sq foot.  No upsells and no games like the other companies I dealt with.  They showed up on time and even finished their work earlier than they anticipated.  The crew was fantastic and it's easy to see why they are the best in the business.

I moved into a new house and knew that I wanted the new garage to have epoxy garage floors. I just like how it looks and I also work in the garage a lot.

I picked the Dakota Grey. Looks great. Only suggestion I have for anyone wanting to get epoxy that is going to use their floor (i.e. woodworking, metalworking, etc) is to take some of your materials and toss them on one of their sample floors.

With the Dakota Grey any screws/nails become invisible when dropped.

Also to note, I was a bit anal-retentive about my floor. Manager took good care of me. Answered all my questions before. Sent out his best crew. Etc.

I shopped a lot of flooring companies and even considered doing it myself.  In each case, it was going to take several days given the fact that the floor has to be decreased and then etched using an Acid wash with a lot of scrubbing.  A new neighbor referred me to Armor-Kote.  Once I learned that they diamond grind the floor and do everything in 1-day, I was sold.  The 3-man crew showed up on time and they were professionals and very respectful.  Given the high temperatures, they were able to get in and out in only 6 hours since the drying time was faster, starting at 6am and finishing at noon.  I think the pictures speak for themselves, but man, I made the right choice!

My neighbor recently had his garage floor (circa 1976) done by Armor-Kote. Coincidentally I was researching one-day epoxy companies to do mine.
Armor-Kote passed the social media review test and had a 5-Star Better Business Bureau rating with no complaints.
I requested three quotes. Armor-Kote was not the cheapest. I followed up references, but the final determiner was my neighbor's flawless floor. Not an easy task on older houses and they had to field engineer an anomaly or three.
When our day arrived, the crew was on time, got to work, and caused no hassles. Thought we hit a homer. But next day when we viewed the garage floor from the inside door, a defect in the finish glared back at us.
Called Shane and sent a picture of the defect. He sent a crew the next day to see if they could sand it out. They could not. He ordered them to return the next day and remove the floor and reinstall it. No arguments, no excuses, no blame game. Just a clear intention to make me happy with my floor.
The crew came the next day and got after it. The result was a gorgeous graphite floor.
On the website the owner promises: "We only use the BEST materials on the market today, we offer a 1-day install, we include all repairs and stem walls at no charge and we stand behind ALL of our work with a lifetime warranty on ALL of our floors. We are very passionate about what we do and it shows. We are all about Customer Service and making our customers 100% happy. We will not settle for anything else."
He was right!

Shane and his crew do exceptional quality work! I definitely know why they have and will continue to receive 5 stars from their customers. Armor-Kote is THE GO TO place for epoxy floors in the Phoenix area. I met Shane and his crew at the Home show last year and just remembered how easy going and polite he was. I did my homework on a bunch of companies and I always came back to Armor-Kote. We had a small issue with our floors (our fault, not theirs at all) and he was super kind to come and take care of it for us!

We will definitely be checking out their garage cabinets website next!

5 STARS for the QUALITY of the WORK and the Finished FLOOR, AND ANOTHER 5 Stars for the EXCELLENT SERVICE provided By SHANE and his STAFF!!!  In one word; The floor is "PERFECT", And we could not be happier.  Shane is a man of his WORD!  I had shopped around and compared a couple other companies, but NOT ONE even came close to the online reviews ARMOR-KOTE has.  And The guys are true professionals!! They were ON TIME, with no surprises, and exactly as advertised.  We chose the "Saddle Tan" color and went with the Full-Poly Coat X2... Shane said from day one; "If you are not happy, we will fix it!"

So, that night I combed the floor with a magnifying glass to find any small imperfection for 30 mins and could only find a tiny recess in the concrete, the size of a dime... (almost as if a "bubble" had settled") I TOLD SHANE that evening that I could live with it and I that was thrilled!  BUT Shane would NOT settle for anything less than PERFECT, AND SENT HIS CREW out AGAIN the next morning to make it PERFECT.  They even went above and beyond to satisfy my request to "seal up" the small drip line underneath the garage door to make a PERFECT seal.  My Garage Floor is BEAUTIFUL, and I have the Peace of Mind with a Lifetime Warranty.  I can not say enough good things about this company.

Look its clear they don't need any more great reviews. Look at the number of great reviews they have. What is clear is Shane must be a good boss cause his crews are awesome. I forgot the guys name, but the lead on my project was simply oustanding. Showed up right no time. Kept me in the loop clearly showing me the process as they progressed. When they had to wait and "watch paint dry" they came back when they said the would. Looks freaking fantastic. And I am confident I wont have a single issue. And if I do I am positive Shane and Gary will have someone over to fix it. Literally the best experience Ive ever had with a contractor. I was a remodeling contractor doing homes and fast food chains, I know how hard it can be. If  my subs had been this good I would have retired a long time ago. Kudos Armor Kote.

I had an absolute FANTASTIC experience with Armor-Kote.  Shane & the entire Armor-Kote crew is beyond professional and accommodating.  They were so helpful and kind to get our measurements and flooring done ASAP.  The quality of the floors came out perfectly--I will seriously recommend them to any and every person looking to get epoxy done!!!

How about 10 stars! The entire team of Armor-Kote is amazing! These guys don't lie or have anything to hide. Best in the business! Super professional guys (Jimmy and +1) who came to work in my garages. Every time, I went outside they told me what they had done and were doing - and noticed my huge smile on my face. They do AMAZING work. Best money spent. Not to mention, they support veterans!

Do your research if you want, but I'm telling you, NOBODY beats these guys! Don't cut corners to save a few hundred dollars, you'll regret it down the road and long haul.

I'm giving this company a 5 star rating not because they did the job, but because they didn't. The estimator came out and gave me a quote that was right in range of what I expected and because of a cancellation they could do my floor the next day. The crew showed up as scheduled and began to grind down my rough concrete floor and patch cracks and divots. As it turned out the center of my floor was crumbling and they stopped work and called the owner of the company. The crew chief told me to call the owner which I did and he told me that they could finish the job, but with the large bad patch in the concrete there would be adhering failure in the not too distant future.

My alternative is to have the floor thin-coated and overlaid with PVC flooring.

What I want to point out is that many companies would have done the job and let the chips fall where they may. This company showed real integrity. They lost $1550 and the time and effort already put in and didn't try to charge me anything for their outlay. As I said before they demonstrated true integrity and if I ever need to do something like this again, I will go out of my way to use their company.

Armor-Kote responded to my Yelp quote request immediately. Shane came out the next day to measure my garage and provide a quote. No hard sell. Very professional and friendly.

Weather delayed the install. While I was bummed, I was also happy that these fellas were only willing to do the work the right way, or not at all.
They called me first thing to make sure I knew, and they offered me a convenience credit.

For those who have items in the garage already, and want to know the best way to clear it out for installation, these guys offered a great solution:
Rent a box-truck (I prefer Penske over U-haul, but whatever is closest to you). They get you on the miles for the rental, and only a small amount for the actual rental. Clear garage into the truck, the evening before, no miles put onto the truck, and voila! Short-term storage solution for you. Return truck when done.

Picked Armor-Kote based on the great Yelp ratings and reviews, and so glad I did.  Wow, really impressed with the job they just completed for us--Shane came out to do the on-site quote and gave the price and install date and they came ready to work exactly as scheduled (to the minute!) and charged exactly as quoted.  Lucas & crew did an amazing job to turn our boring concrete garage floors into a showroom surface!  Flawless coverage of the entire floor, stem walls, & raised areas.  They coated right up to cabinets and around the water softener--no need to remove it, though if you wanted to go through that trouble, they could do underneath too...but I didn't and can't even tell.  The color chips are fully saturated in the coating--no skimping as I've seen in some other inferior jobs.  Wish we did this a long time ago!  Lucas did a great job explaining the work and keeping me updated on the progress via texts.  They knocked out the 2x 2 car garages in a single day as planned, and cleaned up before they left.  
Asked Lucas about the post-tension slab stamps in the concrete and whether they would still be visible after coating; he said they'd be somewhat obscured but still visible; I included a picture of one of them and you can see that it still shows through (really important that post-tension slabs don't get cut or drilled).  There's some odor during curing; to be expected, but that was gone in 24 hours.

I learned about ArmorKote at one of the home shows. This company was great at communicating, providing a complimentary quote and an abundance of information about the product.  They do not charge extra for stem walls and they also offer a military discount!  My crew was wonderful! Lucas and Angelo showed up on time, were professional, and diligent! They did an amazing job!  My floor looks beautiful!  I highly recommend this company!

My husband worked with Shane to get the garage epoxied in our new home. While they were not the cheapest option, they most certainly provided the best customer service and the finished product was well constructed! When we were unsure of which color we wanted, Shane gave us options of houses currently being done to view the chip options. We chose Dakota Grey and love the final look! The installation team was on time and worked quickly and efficiently to finish by the early afternoon. They were extremely professional, kind, and willing to answer and questions or concerns through the installation. We received multiple compliments even from our home builder!

As an aside, we love Dakota Grey but it will show dirt from your tires. Easy to clean off though and we are still in love with the overall appearance.

We just had our garage floor done by Amor-Kote and it looks fabulous! When I called Shane gave me the run down of the process and scheduled a time to come see our garage. He brought samples and helped me choose the best color to match the aesthetic of our house. I wanted to get this done ASAP and he was able to accommodate that, which I appreciated! This is the company you want to hire!  If every company was like the guys, we wouldn't need to write reviews!  First off, John quickly replied to my quote reply - then Shane was very accommodating with the initial home visit, and was a great guy to meet: super friendly, upfront about everything and very detailed, and attentive to my concerns.  No pushy salesmanship what-so-ever.  The he followed up with a wonderfully comprehensive email.  He worked with my schedule, and then some!  Next, the crew showed up ON TIME, super respectful and professional.  I've had a lot of different contractors come to my home, and I can say that these guys were by far the best.  Not 1 pro and a couple of jerks - ALL pros.  I can't recommend them enough.

I have used this company for multiple garage projects and they are top notch.  The crews are great and the end product is exceptional.  Do not let people talk you into using an inferior product or that "do it yourself" Home Depot crap.  Yes, your local house painter offers a "similar" product but it will not last or look anywhere near as good as what Armor-Kote's product provides.  I know people that paid "less" but the outcome looked terrible and has not held up over time.  Within a year or two the floors peel or discolor.  As long as Armor-Kote is in business I will continue to use them.  In fact, I have never even called anyone else since using them the first time and everyone that has seen my floors have called them to get the same service and superior product.

These guys are GREAT!!  They know what they are doing and they want to do the right thing for the customer.  I called several places and they were cheaper, but you don't get a lifetime warranty or a better product....USE THESE GUYS, you won't regret it!!

I resesarched several companies to epoxy my garage floor and Armor Kote was one of the first to respond to my inquiry. Shane texted and called me back immediately, went over my options and pricing and sent me an email with the information we just discussed. He was able to get me on the schedule a few weeks after our conversation and the work was done in less than a day. The floors look amazing and we couldn't be happier. We will definitely refer Armor Kote to any of our friends, family and clients. In fact, I just gave their information to my friends yesterday! Thanks again guys. Job well done!

Shane was super helpful. We met him at the Home & Garden show. We gave him a measure of the garage, got the quote over the phone and email, yes it was that simple.

My three car garage had a very old, very used epoxy coating and handyman-built cabinets. It was time for a change.

Armor-Kote worked with the cabinet contractor (Triton) to coordinate their work.  The cabinets went in on a Monday and the floor was done on Tuesday which kept my inconvenience of having all my "stuff" scattered in the yard or in the house.

Shane came out to give me an estimate and go over samples.  He's very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his product. Since we had to wait for the cabinets to be built we had to wait a month before the floor could be done.

As promised, the two-man crew showed up at 6 a.m. and got right to work.  Because there was an existing epoxy finish it took longer than usual to grind the floor but, much to my surprise, the equipment was very quiet and didn't kick up much dust at all.  I should note that Armor-Kote always grinds the floor - they don't acid wash.

The crew was at my house until about 2:30 p.m. and left after cleaning up and giving me instructions on when I could walk on and then park in the garage (walk that evening, park in 24 hours).  Yes, one day!  Not bad, not bad at all.

Very happy with the sales process and the work performed by Armor-Kote.  I highly recommend that you contact them if you're thinking of doing a floor.

Had Shane and Armor-Kote do our 595 square foot 3 car tandem in our new build and have absolutely zero complaints about the whole process from start to finish. Their prices for polyurea and polyaspartic are extremely competitive from doing some cross shopping. Huge difference for us was the lack of a prep fee (new construction) plus Armor Kote including the stem walls (the other company we had come out to quote work inflated our square footage significantly on the stem walls alone).

Work was all done as described and both the quotation and installation appointments were nailed right on time.

Additionally, these guys are also great to work with for custom color blends. Shane walked us through the process and had patience with us figuring out exactly what we wanted to do and the final product came out really amazing.

Great company and would definitely use them again in the future for coatings if the opportunity presents itself.

5/31/16 Armor Kote came about 15 minutes early before the 7am arrival time! Which was fine with me. They got to work right away. The machine they used was not overly noisy grinding the old epoxy paint off of the floor from previous owners and it had a vacuum on it so there wasn't any dust blowing around. That was nice!
Then they prepped the floor with the stuff to set the chips on. I wanted the Desert Grey color to compliment the new green/grey paint on the walls of my garage. The guys wore their spikes on their shoes by this point to keep the chips and the floor from foot impressions. Then they had set times from in between the coats of the polyurea high gloss which didn't take long. They were done at 1:30 pm for me. My garage is a 2 car @ 416 sq ft.
This floor comes with a lifetime warranty. It cost me $1971.84.

I shopped around for weeks before deciding. There were a number of factors; warranty (some only give 5/ 10/ 15 yrs); type of flooring applied (painted w/partial chips for some companies; polyasparatic not high gloss less warranty coverage; polyurea high gloss lifetime warranty; colors shown online for some companies; other companies will not show but insist on coming to your home to give you a look at samples.)

Armor Kote was the only company that gave me the correct measurement of my garage floor!!!
All other companies I interviewed gave larger footage!

I recently had my garage floor done by Armor-Kote and their work is just phenomenal. My floors look amazing and Shane kept me informed at every step of the process. I had one small issue so I let Shane know, and within a couple days it was resolved and at no expense to me. I can't say enough about the outstanding customer service I received and their willingness to make sure their customers are happy with the results.

1-year after our epoxy floors were installed in our deli, I can say that we are extremely happy with the quality of product from Armor-Kote Garage Floors and their installation. A different company installed a cheap imitation epoxy flooring before we hired Armor-Kote for our other location.  The cheap competitors product is not durable, it cracked in many places, and doesn't compare to the higher quality product that Armor-Kote flooring uses. No cracks at all after the first year of use in a commercial setting. Aside from installing epoxy flooring in a garage, I can say that this ideal flooring in a restaurant kitchen such as ours. It is durable, slip resistant and very "forgiving" with covering spills, etc. until you can properly sweep and mop in a business. They really know what they're talking about as far as the floor prep involved before installation too.

These guys are pros all the way...they coated my 3 car tandam on June 12th 2018 in tuxedo grey and they did a stellar job. From the scheduling, to arrival time, to completion time they executed to exactly what they said. Hard to find this level of work these days. I am a particular customer (read pain in the butt and hard to please) however these guys met and exceeded my expectations... Don't hesitate to hire them...

Armor Kote did a awesome job on my garage floor! They are very professional, answered all my questions and didn't hide anything. My garage is 30 years old and John and his crew made it look better than new.  They filled the cracks, some quite wide, and the expansion joints as well.  Then they applied a large-flake product on the already epoxied floor.  Then two coats of high gloss finish epoxy.  BEAUTIFUL!

With the crew John had, they were able to finish the job in six and a half hours.  Twenty four hours later, my cars were sitting in the garage snug and happy.  Most importantly, I was happy

We recently had our floors done by Armor Kote, and we can not be more pleased with the outcome.  We can help but show off our new garage floors to our guests.   We went with Armor Kote when we found out the original guy we had lined up for the job was going to use Big Box store material.  Best decision ever.   We did run into a minor delay as there were equipment issues, but it happens  with all businesses.    Shane was quick to take action to make sure we were pleased with our floors.  I would highly recommend them.

We just had our garage floors done and couldn't be happier!  I did a lot of research on which company to use, starting with referrals from neighbors.  There were a number of different companies used by neighbors, and I called several of them.  I decided on Armor-Kote for several reasons.  First, their representative called me back right away and also answered my many questions after hours via text.  He invited me to see a garage floor they were doing in my neighborhood that week, and then went over to our home to measure for an estimate.  The estimate was immediate and firm, based on square footage and the type of floor we wanted.  He explained that the configuration of our garage required a portion of the epoxy to be outside the garage door.  I was concerned about the sunlight discoloring it and was assured it would not but, if it did, he wrote right into the invoice that Armor-Kote would touch it up at no charge should it start to lighten.  Also, Armor-Kote's warranty is a lifetime warranty, as opposed to other companies that gave a 5-year warranty.  Finally, they include the stem walls at no charge, which other companies charge for but don't include it in the quote.  The end result is a very finished looking floor and, with the stem walls, it actually looks like they did the baseboards of a regular room.  VERY nice!  
Finally, Shane (rep) and the guys who did the work were VERY nice.  They cleaned up after the job and put "caution" tape across the garage doors so nobody would drive into the garage.  This was one of the easiest contractors I have dealt and highly recommend you give them a call if you are considering an epoxy floor in your garage.

These guys did a great job, they're communication via email, telephone was great right from the first call.  They were clear and concise as to what they were going to do.  They were on time, knowledgable, and personable.

I'll probably have 10 things I wish I had said after the fact of this review, but here goes. YES, the experience was that good. If every contractor experience I had was like it was with Armor-Kote, I would give up DIY projects and have some else do the job.

Step 1 - the quote, Shane came out, offered up their great color selections, informed me about every level of product they offer and answered every silly question I had about the install process, product and why I shouldn't be doing this myself with an off-the-shelf product.

I'll also note, PICTURES DO NOT DO THEIR FLOORS JUSTICE. Which is probably why Shane offered up references to go see other floors, even his own home and one of their current installs that day.

Step 2 - the install, John and his crew were there when they said they would be.

Backstory, I actually had it on my calendar 30 minutes later (and we were in our rental home 15 minutes away and had not moved in yet). I had left the side garage door open late the night before and had intended to call them in the morning. I missed 2 calls from John, while showering and getting my daughter ready for school.  When I saw my phone, first thing I thought was "#$*t ##%t #(%k, they're gonna leave to another job and be pissed about rescheduling."  Nope! We finally sync'd up and they waited 20 minutes, and John figured out I had left the side garage door open for them. I can tell you now, most contractors I dealt with before would have left after two minutes and forced a reschedule and been most unpleasant.  This was the complete opposite experience.

I had several quotes from fairly reputable companies that offered similar high quality floors. What made the difference was how Shane presented the products and explained in detail each one, their color selections were much more diverse than every other company. They also had a unique "Brindle Flake", which wasn't for me, but showed me they innovate in their industry, which shows they truly care about what they do.

Another great part was the total install time of around 6 1/2 hours. Every other vendor was offering up at least 2 days to install. Granted, we were not moved in yet and this is a brand new home and so other installs may require more prep work, but if we had need, we could have moved all our stuff out of the garage, and had it back in later that night.

Only thing I can offer up as a suggestion, is to tape off the doors before or after the install. We had a couple of other contractors in that day, and I was worried since we were not at the house, (and they had gotten done so quickly to warn them) that one of them would have walked on the floor before it was cured.

I had always wanted a top quality garage floor and now I have that dream floor I always wanted. All I can say is THANKS!!! These guys are just doing it right, by WOW'ing the customer.

My garage floor recently coated is excellent for the actual floor.  The crew was timely and got the job done efficiently. Furthermore, they were professional and polite.  However, my garage has a lack of baseboard coverage (cement portion) in an area of the garage but the wood extends above the wall and I would've liked to have that coated as well to even all sides. It looks slightly uneven due to the epoxy not evenly coated all the way around the garage ....I will have to be careful washing the garage out as there's no coverage in certain areas along the wall from water. The wood can be covered but will have to be apart of another job and cost more $$

Overall lifetime warranty is worth the job and it's a quality floor done in an efficient manner, four stars earned.

Shane was very upfront and extremely knowledgeable. He explained by not prepping the garage floor with acid to avoid it running or dripping over our paver driveway was better than other companies as this would discolor the pavers. They obviously use better techniques and products than others and do it better.

Everything was explained up front and there were no hidden costs or surprises.  The crew was on time and did a great job.  Our garage floor looks amazing and I highly recommend Armor coat.
