Being raised in a family full of electricians has lead to many options to work in all phases of the electrical industry. Personally I have been an electrician for over 16 years. Starting on small projects with my dad and uncle at a young age, I was raised to do things right, no matter what the cost.

I had an electrical issue I had tried to troubleshoot and fix myself for an entire Saturday. I couldn't figure it out and looked for an electrician. I hired Arc Electrical in the past and the pricing seemed fair so I decided to use them.
Alex replied quickly to text messages, arrived quickly and had my issue fixed in under an hour. It was truly amazing as I had spent an entire day trying to figure it out. I thought the pricing was very fair for calling an electrician.
Di your homework when choosing electricians. Alex promised to do work and then claims his so is sick. Doesn't show up! Then claims he has the flu. I texted and called and he has ghosted me. Does not respond to you and not reliable! Choose someone else if you want honest, reliable, work done.
They were here the next day! Right on time! They were finished in no time flat! They rates were more than fair!

I wasn't sure how much dust and disruption would happen installing 7 new outlets in our 80 year old home, but it was minimal. He even cut through our cinder block outer wall (when other electricians said it was impossible). Beautiful work. He's very courteous and serious about doing a great job. There are companies with tons of employees and staff that can't produce quality work and smooth invoicing like Alex. Would definitely use him again for any future electrical needs.
I tried to figure out my home electrical issues on my own for far too long. Alex swooped in and saved the day(s) in less than an hour.

My main breaker broke at night around 10pm and I gave Alex a call at 10:30pm. He showed up at my door at 11:15pm and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He walked me through the process of obtaining a permit from the city of phoenix and once we had the permit and the new breaker, he quickly resolved the issue.

Needed an outlet for an EV Installed. Gave me a very reasonable quote right off the bat, didn't try to see how much I was willing to pay like everyone else. Electrician came on time, answered all my questions, super friendly and was in and out in like under 30 min
DO NOT USE! BEWARE! Alex came by and quoted me for some electrical work for a wall oven, microwave and dishwasher. Alex asked for the spec sheet on the appliances to make sure he was doing it correctly. Alex said that it would be $500. Alex completed about 75% of the work and said he would come by and finish the rest. Alex till this day has not returned a phone call, text, or message on the yelp review. He said that he had the flu about a couple weeks ago and has ghosted me with no return messages. He had not finished the work promised and I have receipt to prove it. Also, the appliance installer asked who did the electrical work for the microwave and oven. The appliance installer said your electrician did work that DID NOT need to be done. I advised the appliance installer that I gave the spec sheet with the install instructions to the electrician. Till this day I have not heard from ALEX.
Sent a request on Yelp looking for electricians to install a 240 outlet in the garage for EV charging. Alex messaged me back right away with a quote and was very accommodating with scheduling installation. He arrived on time (early actually) and had the job completed in less than 24 hours from when I first sent the message. I highly recommend Arc Electrical and will most definitely be using them again in the near future! A+++
Quick initial response. Fantastic communication. Needed our master bathroom lights removed and new ones installed. The project was quick, looks great with a very reasonable price. We will save this electrician for further projects!
This company quoted me $675 when I knew their costs was much lower than that. When I asked them why they said cost of materials. When I looked it up that wasn't the case at all and they switched their answer. When I told them I was going to report my interactions they tried to guilt trip me. Screenshots for proof. Stay away!
Alex was very helpful and arrived 10 minutes early! He performed the repair, which turned out to be minor in less than 5 minutes. As with most when he was in my home I had a short list of other questions. Alex educated me in a few things that will make my life easier and cost effective! Highly recommended!
BTW - He has on a mask and refrained from ringing my doorbell early in the am for respect out of other la possibly sleeping in my home. Very thoughtful!
Responded and showed up within 24 hours. First electrician said we needed a new wire from junction box to the dryer outlet. Alex showed up and double checked the breaker and outlet. He fixed the issue on the spot and our dryer was back in order. Really appreciated the thoroughness of his work and appreciate the honesty.
Alex just did an install of a NEMA 14-50 for our new EV. Our electrical panel is on the opposite side of our house from our garage so we knew it wouldn't be cheap but his pricing was fair. He was super easy to communicate with and responsive. He came to give me an estimate the same day I inquired and came back two days later to install. Install was quick, clean and easy. I highly recommend Alex and we have even inquired about more electrical work in our house.

I needed an outdoor GFI outlet changed and I was under a deadline due to our house selling. I called Arc Electrical and even though it was a small job, I was treated as important and the work was completed on time. I experienced good communication, quality work, and a fair price. I would give Alex and Arc Electrical 10 stars if I could! I was referred to Alex by my brother. Alex was installing his Tesla charger and doing some additional electrical work around his house and I needed to do the same.
My Tesla arrived much earlier than expected so Alex said he would squeeze me in between jobs the next day to ensure I was able to charge the car. I was so grateful to him for accommodating me as I know most companies (including his) are extremely backed up with work right now.
He showed up on time and did a phenomenal job! I also had my garage door being worked on while he was doing my install and he was so patient while the other technician completed his work. Had a bad GFCI in my garage which additionally stopped power to the front yard and backyard. Alex came out the next day and fixed it up for us and very quickly. Did great work and very reasonable. He is a statewide company. Definitely will call again if I need anymore assistance.
Alex from Arc Electrical SAVED us from huge expenses and delays that our original electric company proposed. We had been working on a house and had mistakenly turned off the main breaker numerous times on an older electric panel. All of a sudden multiple breakers stopped working. We panicked and called the original company we used for some electric work and they had an emergency tech come out on the weekend...the tech from the other company told us we would likely need a new electric panel and it would be 6 weeks due to supply chain issues. The tech from the original electric company we used didn't have the knowledge, charged us a lot to do nothing and was basically calling someone else that was coaching them to tell us we needed a new panel. We had tenants moving in that coming Monday and there was no way we could leave the house to them with no AC or lights in the living area. I started to panic more and started messaging through Yelp to all the electric companies I could find. Most responses were from answering services and then miraculously Alex, the owner of Arc Electrical started to message me back. He came out the following day with no trip fees to look at what was going on. He clearly had way more expertise and depth of knowledge about electric than the other corporate style electric company we had been dealing with. Alex recognized very quickly what was going on. He knew of a part that would fix the main breaker without having to put in a new electrical panel. This saved us thousands and thousands of dollars and TIME. I have to mention that we were in such a time crunch that I told Alex we would pay a premium for his help and he said no, he only wanted to charge what was fair. He also went to the permit office on our behalf and called APS to make sure our electric was all good to go. Alex of Arc Electrical services is truly a god send. There aren't many ethical business owners like him anymore. He gets involved, he has genius level knowledge of electric, and he is kind hearted. We would have had so many issues had he not helped us. We consider him a real HERO and I can't recommend him enough. Thank you Alex!!!!! You are the BEST!!

We had a problem last night and all of our outdoor outlets stopped working during a rain. Alex answered the phone at about 9 at night and gave advice over the phone to try to fix the problem without the need for a service call. He also advised us how to prevent the problem in the future. I'm glad that I now feel like I have found an electrician that I can trust. Friendly and knowledgeable, this is now my preferred electrician!

Arc does an amazing job. He quotes the work first then once accepted scheduled an appointment. The day of the work he expertly installed the new outlets and fixtures and left no mess. It was amazing. I've had arc for multiple jobs including installing the Tesla charger, installing cabinet lights, installing outlets, and running outdoor electrical.

Contacted Arc early on a Sunday morning. Alex responded in moments, which i did not expect. I needed someone to come troubleshoot a power failure in a portion of my house. I expected him to schedule me for the week, but Alex gave me a time that Sunday, and was actually able to get here sooner.

Responsive and fixed my outlet issue in my laundry room within minutes. Answered additional questions on future work we need done as well.
Alex replaced the outlet on our electrical pole. A couple of days later 2 breakers on the pole needed replacing, which Alex did. I asked for an estimate on running electric to a shed. Alex did give an estimate for this work and had set an appointment. My excitement at finally being able to work in my craft shed gradually turned to dismay as the time for the appointment came and went with no call or show from Alex. I had paid in full with cash for the prior jobs and had gone to the bank to make sure I had enough cash to cover his estimate. I had also cleaned and cleared the shed to make sure it would be easy to work in.
I have tried calling and left a message, as well as texted both to his phone number and on the Yelp app. I have never heard back as to what the issue was. If he had underestimated the cost, we would have been open to renegotiate. Even if Alex had changed his mind, there is really no excuse for not letting your customer know you are not coming.
Alex rewired my entire house in 2019, seemed like he did a good job. Couple months later I realized he missed the plug for the fridge and asked him to fix it, been ghosting me for a year since.
I was referred to Alex by a HVAC company. Amazing availability, the work was done faster than most would even schedule for a quote. HVAC project turned out great. I reached out for another project. Scheduled and done the same week. When I received the charger to plug it in, the charger wouldn't turn on. I reached out, he came over that afternoon and fixed the problem, which was exceptionally minor. in a world of increasing indifference to customer service and responsiveness, this was a really refreshing experience. I literally wish I had more electrical projects to do because I had such a better experience than with many service providers in other industries. Exceptional communication and responsiveness. Highly recommend. I bet he gets your project done before many would even get out to you for a quote.
Although it was very late in the day, Alex was willing to come and fix a rather simple problem. He was so kind and personable. He made sure we know he would come out if the issue happened again.

We lost power on a shortened fuse and we're unable to fix it due to our house being older and made one call late at night. They were there the next morning at 6am and even fixed our vanity lights! Great service and very reliable! Highly recommend!
We were looking to install an electric vehicle charger in the garage and Arc Electric was quick to respond and able to install everything in a few days. They offered to have it done the next day, but we were in no hurry. Alex kept in contact with us when he was delayed at the job before us (no fault of his own) and came out when he finished. The install was quick and easy, very professional and he even mounted the charger to the wall for us. Definitely will call him if we ever need some electrical work done.

Called Alex late in the day and was hoping to get an general estimate for some work that I needed performed in the near term. Next thing you know, he gave me very accurate quote over the phone (something several other folks would not do, even though I could explain exactly what I needed done). He had me send a couple of pictures so that he could get the parts before arriving. He was unable to get one part, but still came and did the work and then came back out the next day to replace the part that he could not previously obtain (without trying to charge me again). I was a previous electrician and just did not have the tools to perform this work and watched (just for fun) as he performed the work. IT WAS EXCELLENT. I will be using Arc for all of my future needs!
Alex is one in a million! He did quick & quality work that involved putting in recessed LED above our shower and a new bath fan vent. It was really tight in the attic but he got it done all in less than 2.5 hrs. Alex is very easygoing and so funny, he said he had no idea he was having insulation for lunch lol! Our dryer had an electrical issue and Alex came by to troubleshoot it in a timely manner on a Saturday. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and extremely reasonable - highly recommend!!
We had an immediate need for an electrician, and Alex was prompt, friendly, and got the job done in under two hours. From the first inquiry using Yelp messenger to his electronic delivery of the invoice, Alex was professional, on time, and fixed our problem quickly. Our guest casita is where my 93 y/o father resides, and when he lost power overnight, we needed help to get his oxygen generator and heater running again. Alex called within 5 minutes of my message posting, and empathized with our situation and stated he could be to our house in 30 minutes. A half hour later there was a light knock on the door. Alex and I shook hands and walked out to meet my father. Alex was patient and listened to my dad explain the power issues, and then walked with me to our fuse panel to start diagnosing the issue. I am embarrassed to say that it was a simple fuse reset, but Alex explained that sometimes in the dust and wind blown environment we live in this happens. We reset the fuse in question and had power back in dad's casita. Alex then took his multi tester and checked all of the wall outlets to ensure power was in fact restored. We then discussed dad's power needs as well as safer circuit breaker upgrades. We decided to have Alex install new 25 amp breakers, replacing the 20 year old 20 amp units, after he told us he could be to and from Home Depot quickly for the parts. The quoted price was $150, and we gladly approved the project. Alex completed the circuit breaker upgrade in less than 30 minutes, and then he took the extra time to explain the power risks with dad and the dangers of overloading circuits. We were very impressed with Alex, although I didn't want to introduce him to my wife...as he closely resembles her silver screened heart throb THOR/Chris Hemsworth...so Yelping husbands consider yourselves warned! Thank you Alex, we will call you for our electrical needs in the future.

Alex wired a doorbell for me and it required he run a new wire in the crawl space. He charged a fair price, did great work, and even helped me on wiring for a ceiling fixture while he was here. Alex to the rescue!
With circuits tripping and a hot pool not circulating we had a big problem on our hands. Arc was one of three electricians we called to troubleshoot and quote. Alex returned the call within minutes, came to our home within the hour, provided a temporary fix to get the pool running and had a quote out first thing the next day. His quote was the only one to offer 2 solutions....luckily his creative approach worked and saved us a bundle. Needless to say we are VERY pleased with the results and sill not hesitate to work with Arc/Alex in the future.
Alex showed up and gave us an estimate to have a ceiling fan installed, seemed knowledgeable. We booked a date/time to have it installed. The day of the scheduled installation, he texted and said he couldn't make it and would need to reschedule. I understand that part, the part I don't understand is him not returning my text or phone call to reschedule. There are a few more reviews with similar situations. It truly is a natural wonder as to how some peoples brains function. After going through the whole estimate process and talking about even more potential jobs I might hire him for, he ignored my phone call! How does one just throw away potential profit so easily? Not return a simple text?

I contacted Alex on a Saturday morning to get an estimate on installing a Electric Vehicle charging station in my garage. He responded immediately with an estimated price (based on the information I provided) which was quite a bit less than the other quotes I received.
He gave me a couple of scheduling options - one for later that day, and one for the next morning. So I scheduled the work.
When Alex arrived, he was friendly and promptly went to work. In less than an hour, my charging station was good to go.

Arc Electrical was hired to look at a new hot water heater that was not working. And although Arc did some rewiring inside the new hot water heater to get it to work; the electrician never commented or recommend i go back to the manufacturer since it seemed to name an obvious defect. So while I took a few days to try and see if I could get the manufacture to pay for the work, Arc proceeded to bombard me with invoices; 22 to be more specific in less than a week. I tried to assure Arc the invoice would be paid; but only received accusations of trying to not pay and then threats of being sued. All of this occurred within 6 days of the service being performed. The invoice was paid in full at the end of that week. Totally unprofessional, uncalled for, and ugly. Arc is NOT recommended!
An extremely positive experience, start to finish. No issues scheduling, showed up on-time and as promised. Extremely professional and friendly. Alex went above & beyond and left our home spotless; you wouldn't be able to tell that we had any work done at all! Would highly recommend to others, and will certainly use again.

Being a new home owner, I have learned quickly that it is hard to find good and reliable help.
I have no idea how to do any electrical work, therefore I called Arc Electrical, and Alex answered the phone. I expressed my issues, and he was so understanding of my incompetence of electricity, and assured me he would try his best to help me out!
He did help me out! And was there when he said he would be there. (Which is so refreshing to the 'I'll be there between 1:00 and 4:00)
Alex came by tonight for a late call (9:15 PM) promptly after we spoke to address a problem with power reaching my garage. The problem ended up being something I should have been able to figure out and fix on my own. He was able to fix it very quickly and also addressed an additional issue I had in the house. He did this at night, coming 30 minutes out of his way, for no charge. He is a great guy and I truly appreciate his work!
Alex was absolutely was a great guy, very professional, called back in 5 minutes. My garage door opener was arcing and sparks were fly out of it. It was 7:30 pm and and he was on his way to another job. He said he should be able to be at my house within an hour. He let me know when he was on his way and his expected arrival time. He fixed it quickly and and I must say if you ever need an electrician give Alex a call. I will definitely be recommending him to my friends.

Arc Electrical and I had multiple phone calls and texts regarding the date and time he would be coming to my home to install and wire 2 ceiling fans. He was scheduled to come on a Saturday morning at 8am. I woke up early and moved all of my furniture so he would have easy access to the walls. He did not show up! I called and texted him asking when he would be arriving and NO RESPONSE. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional.

Alex Myrick came over to my house this morning on time to do some estimate on what needs to be done and how much it will cost to fix some light switches. Although it seems a small job to him, he took the time to explain and advise in detail on what needs to be done. He actually end up fixing one light switch and check two others. Did not charge me anything for this visit. I end up getting the parts from home depot and did it myself. But without his guidance in the first i won't be able to have the confidence to finish the job. I will definitely give him any future business for sure. A true professional with good work ethics. Alex was courteous, fair, on time and did excellent work. His prices were more competitive than other companies and he does not upcharge. I requested a quote and he literally drove out to my house that day and gave me a written quote that he lived by. When it came time to do the job he was not only on time but did way more than I requested by crawling deep into my crawl space attic to run wires where I needed them.
Alex is the only person I will use for electrical work.

He was able to work around my work schedule and came out the same day to assess the damage to the line for the 220v outlet. The following morning he had the repair complete. Our smoke detectors had been beeping for four days. Intermittently and SO ANNOYING. After about the 15th time of hearing that noise, I searched yelp. Alex contacted me almost immediately and even offered to come out right then. (It was 930 as night) we scheduled the appointment for the next morning. He showed up, on time and professional. He was so kind to my two kids....interacting and engaging while he was working. He fixed the issue...no problem! I'm in the middle of a remodel, and have purchased numerous electrical supplies from Arc. Not only are their prices fair, they provide insight and learned instruction on various strategies for cost savings, safe and efficient electric know how. It is a shame their experience was unavailable in the late 1800's, for they might have, dear reader, just might have . becoming a driving force of the Second Industrial Revolution.

We hired Arc Electrical, Alex, to do recess lighting in our kitchen and hang and wire security cameras outside our house. He also put some electrical receptacles outside for Christmas lights. I was more than satisfied with the work he did and how he went the extra mile to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. He was prompt to reply to my inquiries and worked around my schedule. Definitely would hire Alex again as I was very pleased with the outcome of his work and his customer service.
The lights mysteriously went out in three of my rooms. I tried everything I could think of to fix it myself (turn the breakers on and off / change out the light bulbs / prey to the light gods) but the lights still would not come on and it kind of freaked me out honestly - why would the lights in three rooms stop working and everything else work fine?!
With electricians (and plumbers) it is such a mixed bag. You never know if you're going to get a rip off artist or someone that just doesn't know what they are doing at all. You don't know until it is done and you have a huge mess to fix.
I asked a couple of friends if they knew of anyone that did quality electrical work. A close friend of mine gave me Alex's name and number and vouched for him. She had gotten work done by him, her brother had gotten work done by him, and her mom had gotten work done by him. They were all fans of his work and happy with the service he provided.
I called Alex yesterday and let him know what my issues were and we set up a 9:00 am appointment for today for him to come out and have a look at the problem. He was here a few minutes early and got right to work. In less than 30 minutes he had figured out that whoever originally wired the electric had used the wrong kind of tape to connect two wires together. The wires weren't completely connected and were creating a surge of electric back and forth between the wires (that burnt through the tape) and a huge a fire hazard.
It was pretty awesome that he was able to locate the problem so quickly and even more awesome that he knew what to do to fix the problem once he found it. My lights were back on and working perfectly within an hour. Yay! His prices were fair and he seems like an honest guy that knows what he's doing. I will use him again if I have an electrical problem and I recommend his services.
Oh the joys of finding someone with experience that knows what they are doing!

I've been unlucky over the years working with several electricians but Alex was a breath of fresh air! I was surprised and delighted to work with a company that actually cares about the homeowner and tries to find the most economical way of fixing my needs. We hired Alex to perform electrical work at a residential property. He was nice at the first visit and scheduled our job for an agreed-upon date. He asked for half of the funds (about $750) to complete the job up front, which we gave him. We had several contractors booked, all of whom were counting on the electrical work being completed first. The job date came and went - Alex never showed up. **He took our money and never showed up.** We never saw Alex again. It took many messages, phone calls, and written notices to finally get our money back. He threw our project completely off schedule, causing us a lot of inconvenience and expense. I would not, under any circumstance, recommend this contractor.

Alex was super courteous and on time. He is very knowledgeable and super nice. He looked at the breaker and found that someone had messed with the breaker. He shifted the switches and all started working again. He DID NOT charge me for all this diagnosis and time he spent driving 35 minutes from north Phoenix to Chandler. For the first time, I felt bad that I did not have a real issue. He will be my Electric guy here onwards.

We called Arc Electric randomly after doing an on-line search and reading reviews. We had them come out to look at some needed work on a newly purchased property. Alex came out and took a look at the work to be done. We liked Alex and were ready to review the estimate and go forward with the work. After he pulled away from the property, saying he would get us an estimate that afternoon, we never heard from him again. No estimate, no e-mail, no response to our calls or text. Weird.
I would have rather heard he wasn't able to do the work or it didn't fit his schedule or something so we wouldn't have wasted 3 days trying to track him down.
We hired another company and completed the work easily and quickly.
Power went out during one of our great dust storms. Luckily we were at a hotel for that night, but it was the weekend. I attempted to call over ten electricians. One stated it would be $120 added onto the work which was needed, all others, but George Brazil did not answer. George Brazil would not have been able to come out later in the day and would have cost a pretty penny. I was able to reach Alex, who came to my house approximately one hour after speaking to him. It ended up being a stuck breaker, which he easily fixed. He only charged $20 for his service. I will be re using ARC.
I wish I could add another star! Alex came out and went above and beyond expectations. He was quick to arrive and very thorough in his work. He did a great job and we highly recommend Arc. Next time we have electrical issues, I know who I'll be calling.

I was out of town helping family with an emergency. I received an email from a tenant about a circuit tripping in the kitchen. I called Arc electric and told him about the situation. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. The owner Alex, said he will look at it personally. I am very satisfied with his work. He found the issue and it had nothing to do with the circuit. The tenant ended up having light bulbs burning out. So she would have to turn the breaker off to change light bulbs. I had Alex change the track light to an energy efficient one. I was also able to salvage the other track for another property. Thanks to Alex. He was even kind enough to help reprogram a garage remote at no extra charge. I have gone through 3 electricians since living in AZ. I finally feel like I found an honest, reliable, intelligent electrician. No more electricians that can't do things up to code and charge an arm and a leg. This company is competitive with pricing, shows up on time and does the work right the first time.
