I hired Adams Disaster and Restoration to fix some water damage in my bathroom about 6 months ago.  The office staff was friendly and the crew was courteous and timely.

I was expecting the process to be a huge headache but they took out all of the guess work.  I recommended them to a friend and their experience was the same.  Overall, they are great people to work with!

Don't go with this company. This company is an scammer. They told us they would do the job and contact the insurance for us. But they fuck up the insurance and now the insurance declined to cover. They start to avoiding contact me for 2 months then they give me an invoice for couple thousand dollars for just come in and check and contact the insurance, which they have never tell us it would be this much for them to just come out and check on the situation. They scammed me. Let this be a warning unless you want to spend couple thousand dollars for them to come out and looks the situation and not doing anything.

You claim to be veteran owned! Well, fellow war fighter, you can relate to my frustration then when, your people finished the job, a day before I was to deploy! My plan of spending time with my family ended up being a waiting game for you to finish the job. You promised to do everything but you did not. My insurance company had to walk me through to get the measurement for my garage. I still have properties sitting in my back yard that should be in my garage. Now you call me while im deployed to tell me I still owe you money! Fellow warrior, If you did your job as promised, we would not be in this situation. I feel harassed. I wish I can go home so I can personally give you the money you want.

You've given me nothing but stress before and during this deployment. But rest easy brother. I have the watch.

This company has worked with us for almost 4 months, mitigating the damage from a burst water heater and then restoring our garage to almost new. We met a lot of different employees but the ones who stand out to us as it's completed are Shawn, Tanner, Doug, and our final
crew today Paco and Santos. The job was well done.

Avoid this company at all cost.  They did the water damage removal timely. But when it came to the rebuild they where MIA .  No one wanted to take ownership and escalated calls to upper management went unanswered. I had to fire them, and to go to home advisor to get a remedy.  One month of trying to get a resolution is not acceptable.

Unreliable. Irresponsible Unprofessional.Rude They had the nerve to ask us how much our insurance company issued in the settlement check for our water damage claim so that they could pad our bill with their outrageous fees. I truly hope they go out of business so they can stop ripping customers off. They don't even deserve a one star rating. Absolutely horrible in every conceivable way. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM !!!!  They even have a clause in their contract prohibiting negative feedback.  If they treated customers with respect and did the job correctly they would not be concerned about negative feedback !!!!!! Very disturbing that they only care about the money and ignore the fact that you need to get your house put back together quickly.  Totally clueless about their priorities.  Also extremely disturbing they they find the need to pay off plumbers to recommend them.

DON'T RECOMMEND !!!!!!

This company was allowed access into my home by a plumber who received referral fees from them. Absolutely do not recommend for many reasons but primarily because of some of the shady workers sent to my home. I would not allow this company (or any disaster recovery firm for that matter) to directly bill your insurance without reviewing and accepting a detailed invoice with the amounts to be charged which is the basis of any legally enforceable contract.

This company is horrible!! I would give zero stars if possible.  They tell you what you want to hear, then it goes down hill from there. I wish I would of hired a handyman to complete the restoration. It took months to complete a simple tiny bathroom and the person they sent damaged baseboard & left it, put storage pantry doors on wrong & adjusted the door opener instead of fixing mistake. The senior project manager Eric was a complete jerk on the phone when I discussed problems that he sent wrong guy who was unaware of what he was suppose to do & just left. I was shocked. I don't like to write bad reviews because I know businesses can have an off day, but this business is horrible. I will have to hire someone to fix what they messed up. But they are quick to get their money.

We recently had water damage to our house. Adams was recommended by the plumber we contacted. Adams responded quickly. They started by drying out the house and did necessary demo. They were professional and very courteous.
The process took a little longer than we anticipated but nothing seems to go as planned. We would highly recommend Adams D&R, and will use them again if the need arises.

Adam's Disaster and Recovery is worthy of negative stars if I could give them that. I had the misfortune of meeting them through Champion Plumbing and Rooter as we had an impacted sewer line. Not once did we ever invite them to our home; Champion Plumbing and Rooter always brought them along for the containment area set up. Curiously, they both were never at the house at the same time. I feel it was incredibly unwise for Champion Plumbing and Rooter to risk their reputation with such a shady company.
To start off, they gave us dehumidifiers and fans that just spread around mold spores and bacteria around the house. The worker that gave the items to us did not give us a timetable for how long we were going to be in possession of them. The manager gave us a non-enforceable indefinite contract to sign. There were different workers every time they came to the house except for two separate occasions. The containment tents they brought with them could be bought for twenty to thirty dollars at Home Depot.
The workers were the definition of unreliable and untrustworthy. No one showed up with tools, uniforms, company marked cars, or with any idea of what they were supposed to do. They would often ask me to brief them on the situation. One worker looked completely out of it, while another had a significant number of teeth missing. I did not feel safe at all around them, as I felt they were transients. The Adam's employees all had different area codes when calling the house; some from Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, etc. I ignored quite a few calls, believing them to be spam numbers.
When they set up their final containment tent, they damaged our blinds after hours of meandering aimlessly trying to find a spot to put their support poles. The blinds cost thousands of dollars; and they refused to pay for the repairs. They gave us the run around stating they needed to go inside our house again to see the blinds, however, I would never let these fellows in my house again.

Pains me to even give them a one star when it should be zero. This company has no idea what they are doing. Everyone is pointing fingers at who is at fault. A two day job ended up taking 2 months because they did not know how to put it back together. No one took a before picture to see where the drain line was. I called in to get a progress update and talked to Annette who was very rude and had no idea what was even going on. I paid them upfront and a year later I call to grab a certification of completion and they cant release since I have an unpaid balance. There is a reason they have 2 stars - and its probably because I'm forced to even give a one star to complete the review. Such a a joke of a company.

ISTAY AWAY FROM This company. I called to get a quote for gutter repair and a second level Balcony deck repair.

Their first guy came out measured and discussed what they would do. And then I never heard back.   After 3 weeks I received a call asking if i was interested i receiving a quote and I told them I had someone come out and I am still waiting on that quote.

They said that they would send another guy out to get me an estimate and I told them don't bother.  The next day another individual came out to measure and I asked him why did he come out.  They already had done a survey.

He said he needed to because he is the specialist and would not take the estimate from the original guy.  I asked did he get the info from the other guy and he said yes but did not feel comfortable using it he needed to do it himself.  So I asked why did t he call me to tell me this a day or two later.  Why did I have to call back inquiring about the quote before he even respond almost a month later.

I had him go ahead with the measurements and showed him all the issue and then he left.  Once again he did not get back to me with a quote. This place is so poor at dealing with people and being credible.  I did not hire them.

Beware of this company

I had a sewage back up come out of my toilet it flooded my house it was horrible. My plumber showed up and recommended I call a restoration company. I called Adams and I'm glad I did. They were at my house within 30 minutes and immediately got to work and started cleaning up the mess. I stayed in a hotel during this process often coming to check. Everything went smooth with their professional help. The process was a lot to deal with and at times I felt like I lost my mind with my house in shambles. Thankfully Adams was who I called! I recently heard some restoration stories from some friends and family checked reviews and couldn't believe some of these reviews about them. So I I had to say something. My experience was great! I never had anything stolen or was my home or family disrespected in any way. I would recommend them to anyone I know friend or family!

Absolutely the wost company ever.  Damaged our personal proprty, items stolen from our home, they try to collect from the insurance company for work not provided.  Even our Home Owners Insurance said they are suspicious.  No communication.  As far as the work, horrible.  Broken tile, grout everywhere, did not put up doors, broke door frames, charged to paint entire home, did not do that.  RUN from this company.

Very unhappy with the master bathroom demo & renovation work done by Kaleb.  He assured us that this 6-8 week project was important and he said all the right things.  Followed by his late jokes and constant delay, excuses (too busy!) and unresponsiveness.  In addition to the shoddy work - I'm mostly satisfied that I never have to deal with him again.  The 6-8 week project too a bit over 4 months (with many weeks of no one working), with a few calls to cancel design decisions previously made (example - he agreed to add a wanted shower bench, then last minute advised it wouldn't be good so we purchased a teak bench instead to add to the space) and resulting in a finished product that I wish could've been done differently.
I take some responsibility because the signs were there - he refused to provide a timeline, punch list, measured design, etc.  Caleb is most unprofessional and disrespectful, lacking communication skills and highly unorganized - I largely felt like we were held hostage during this project.

WARNING  This is not an exaggeration, I sincerely do not want anyone to go through what we did!  If it was an option to leave ZERO stars and warn all consumers about this shady company, I would! AVOID Adams restoration at all costs, they are the shadiest worst company I've ever come across and made our lives a living hell.  The unprofessionalism, lies, being screamed at in my own home by their project manager on camera, recorded drunk dials from another project manager being extremely inappropriate, you cannot make this up!  Their revolving door of unqualified idiots was infuriating especially with how much of our time they waisted and damage they did to our home .  Literally nobody on their team knew/knows what they were/are doing and after 6 months of insanity and my place laying vacant without work being done for months after paying them, we got to a point where the ROC inspector got involved and pointed out glaring issues. There would have been violations already recorded on their record, then they brought their A Team out to try and mitigate the negligence and major issues the previous clowns created at my home.  I am still dealing with all of the mistakes they made including my new flooring coming up.  We have to hire another company to fix their mistakes and it is probable that this will result in litigation!  They also turned our backyard into a job site and left screws, nails, and all kinds of other hazardous materials all over the place without cleaning up completely, and we have dogs!  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I only gave 1 star because I had to in order to complete review.  This is the most unethical company I have ever used.  Not only did they have me cut them a check, they billed my insurance company and they were in the process of paying when I had to inform my insurance company I already paid.  They tried to double bill.  The invoice I did pay had absurd charges but I was not able to fight them.

our bathroom upstairs got a water flood, the damage went from the bathroom to the kitchen in the first floor. Adam's came within 2 hours to start the restoration, step 1 drying bathroom, removing tile and removing ceiling in the kitchen. It took sometime to schedule the repair and that the only reason for 4 stars, the full process took 4 months. Staff is very attentive, responsive to calls and well organized on documentation and contacting the insurance. the final repair was well performed, reinstaling the drywall to the ceiling and tile in the bathroom. I recognize the good job by Paco on reinstaling and paiting the full ceiling in the kitchen and from Kevin and Eric (Projec Mgr) for the tile.

Although the work done was good, the communication is terrible! Phone calls not returned, crews not showing up  with no explanation, emails ignored, billing is a mess. I went to the office to pay what I thought was our final bill of 14K. Got a call the next morning saying we owed 11K. Talked to the office and was told sorry you only owe for the pack out which has not been billed yet! This was never mentioned when I was there. When I left their office, and after a good conversation going over all accounts, I thought we were paid in full. Now we will be hit with another bill.

This is a company that gets the bulk of their income from scamming, cheating, and swindling people out of as much money as possible.

We had some issues with mold in a bathroom, so we went through our homeowner's insurance to rectify the issue and Big G Plumbing was dispatched to help us out. The plumber came to our house, assessed the situation and said he was going to call in a restoration company to do the work. It turned out to be Adams Disaster and Restoration. Turns out, this is a racket these companies have set up - Plumber comes in, pretends like they can't fix the problem, calls in restoration company, and the restoration company will offer them a kickback.

These guys kept trying to rush the work being done, just wanted to tear down the walls of our bathroom and refused to give us estimates. My wife had to send them away three different times because they would randomly show up wanting to do the work and we hadn't gotten any estimates. Why in the world would we let you start tearing apart our bathroom when you have obviously dodged questions about how much it's going to cost? You're out of your mind. Finally, we decided that we didn't want any work done from them and cut ties. Too many red flags.

We just got an astronomically priced invoice for an asbestos test that we didn't approve or ask for. They just did the test and didn't inform us it was even happening. We didn't approve any labor or sign anything that allowed them to do the work. When we're consistently asking for estimates and haven't even asked them to do any work yet, it's almost laughable how obvious the scam is when we receive a bill for $500  Don't use this company, don't interact with them, don't even let them into your house. If they're in your house, they're going to find a way to try and bill you for it. We are debating whether lawyering up may be correct course of action, as it seems this has been the experience for many people.

If you have any fire issues this is the place to go. My home was partly burned, I didn't know what to do next. I contacted Adams who went step by step on my options. They were quick to check with asbestos and helped me understand my insurance. They explained everything better than my agent. They were never pushy or try to sugarcoat anything. They were straight forward and returned my calls quickly. I appreciate they're honesty.

Let me preface this by saying that I have had water mitigation efforts done on my house in the past and know what a good experience should be.

I've read the other reviews on this site about these folks. They are all very accurate, and describe the experience I had. So here's my review.

Adams was completely disorganized and confused.

It took them 4 months to mitigate some water damage and restore a bathroom and closet.

I had dozens of different contractors come to the house over the four month period, all telling me different things that were going to happen or should happen next, and they all pretty much made no sense.

They would make appointments and not show up. Their own employees talk badly about the company, and one employee even tried to tell me how to scam the insurance company.  I had one contractor abusively screaming at his helper while doing some demo work. One of them even lied to me, which I discovered was the case after calling the company to ask for some information.

In the middle of the pandemic, most of them did not wear masks. We had to put a sign on our door about wearing a mask before entering.

A project manager showed up once and spent about 5 minutes in the house. No one at the company was familiar with what was happening at my house. No one checked up on the status of the job. They didn't even do a final walk through.

I had to do a lot of clean up and finish some of the restoration myself.

The only reason I worked with these folks is because a plumber from the home warranty company called them in without telling me. They just showed up and said they were called in to help. Once they were there fixing things, I figured I'd keep working with them. I really should have looked at the reviews here. That was a big, huge mistake.

The only positive thing I can say is, the work was completed and they are no longer in my home.

We had a water leak with fairly extensive damage. Adams arrived quickly and began the process. Following the drying period, Paco and team replaced the drywall, painted, and had our room back to new. And lastly, Neianne was wonderful to work with during the completion phase. Overall great service and very communicative.

If we could give NEGATIVE STARS WE WOULD! Our water heater pipe busted inside our wall, causing damage to the walls and floors. They came in to dry out the water. The machine they brought that ran all night, pumped water INTO OUR HOME causing more damage to the walls and floors. They took no responsibility for the additional damages. Took 3 weeks for a supposed adjuster to come in and write the damage estimate for our insurance ($6k), then for over 2 months no one would call us back or show up. Then their accounting office calls after over 2.5 months and wants over $11,000 when they haven't even DONE ANYTHING but remove some drywall and flooring. The lady was RUDE and accused us of lying about funds received from the insurance. After speaking with our insurance, they had only submitted the additional amount the same day they called us wanting payment and the submission did not even include the pictures or test results showing that an abatement was even needed! Also found out they are trying to charge the insurance for two abatements that have not even been done. They still have not done one thing in our home. They are slow, unresponsive, overpriced, and complete frauds. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!

This review is on behalf of Adams Restoration. In the spring of 2020 I had an underground leak that hit many areas of my house. I had terrible insurance that after 14 months of fighting with them, paid me a third of what I should have received. Adams Restoration spent many hours talking and meeting with my insurance representatives to get me a more justifiable settlement. However my insurance company remained stubborn and would not offer a dime more. Even after several months of investigation by the Dept. of Insurance, they would not budge on the payout. In the Adams restored my home for the amount that the insurance company paid me and no additional costs out of pocket. Using the limited funds that the insurance paid out, Adams fixed my home, including the installation of beautiful flooring to replace the damaged carpeting and tile, and they did it in one week. They made my home beautiful and new and the crews they sent were unbelievable talented, hardworking and pleasant. Adams Restoration restored me and my home and helped make me whole again. I can't say enough about them. My home is even more beautiful than it was before the horrendous leak.

You can see from these pictures that Adams Restoration put my needs and my well being ahead of their profit. I can't say enough about this company. So by this post I can only say Thank You!

When my water heater started leaking in the garage and it destroyed a portion of my walls and baseboards Adams disaster and restoration was able to come in quickly and restored my garage. They work with my insurance to get the job done and now The area where I had the damage looks flawless. Paco and his guy came in to do the drywall work and the painting and they did a marvelous job.

They were so fast to take money but super slow to return it, and in the end my insurance ended up paying them $1000 less and refunding me the $1K.
I didn't choose these guys, the plumber called them in.
I was going to use them for the restoration work after the plumber was done, until they told me it took 3 weeks to get cabinets in.... Please! My dad ended up doing it in a few days with materials from Home Depot. We also found somebody else to do the work in the bathrooms, they got it done in one week.
Oh and the replacement tile? Yeah my dad found it at Floor and Decor, no thanks to Adams. They wanted to retile the entire house. They had taken a sample which supposedly they were fast-tracking for ID. After a week, it had barely shipped out. They are in no hurry at all. Well I was in a hurry to get my renters back in. Bottom line is that I can't recommend them.

If I was able to give zero stars for Adam's, I would. Let me tell you a tale that spans back to a little over a year ago...

Just over a year ago, we had a major leak in the walls connecting both bathrooms and the kitchen. A plumber came out and repaired the work and recommended Adam's to our landlord to use for asbestos clean-up, remodeling, and all other needs. So, being naive and unaware of how many awful reviews were left for them, we decided to move forward. Adam's installed multiple giant and very noisy fans in our house for the mold and asbestos removal that stayed installed for weeks. After they deemed the asbestos gone, they determined they were too busy to complete the work so hired out a subcontractor, Rocket Restoration, to complete. The owner came in with her wife (?), an elderly man, and a different crew daily. Tore up our guest bathroom, kitchen, and most of the master bathroom, then disappeared for months. I was left without a functioning shower, one toilet between 4 people, and no kitchen for at least 3 months. Adam's did nothing to help us pin down Rocket to get them to finish their work. After they finally showed up for work again to finish (which took them another 4 months due to a multitude of other things), the work was deemed completed and Adam's moved on. So did we.

Moving forward to a few months ago, the SAME leak reappeared. Thankfully it was not as dire as before, but still. Turns out, Rocket had not repaired the proper water pipes and Adam's did not bother to ensure their subcontractor was doing their job properly. So here we are again. The plumber has once again come out and done their job to the best of their abilities, and now it is left up to Adam's to put our guest bathroom back together. After installing yet even more large obnoxious fans to dry the walls, Adam's, surprise, disappeared for a week. After constant badgering from ourselves and the landlord, they decided it was time to work again. Never once did they call to confirm scheduled dates and times to send a crew over to check on the fans they installed to dry the walls, people were just randomly showing up at my house whenever they pleased. This caused much anxiety as most times it looked as though my porch was being robbed, I had no idea Adam's was at my house multiple times when I was not home. I even have an incident on my video doorbell of one of your employees looking around my front porch, moving things to see what we have and if he could maybe take anything. He then stole a cigarette from a pack left on the table, and enjoyed it on my front porch. I had half a mind to call the police until I saw the rest of the crew show up 10 minutes later to tear out every inch of the guest bathroom. They then called my husband after to ensure it would be finished by the end of that week.

Anyway, back to the fans. After about 3 weeks of having these fans installed and being told the dampness in our carpet is increasing but not to worry, we worried, and raised the issue to the owners. I had a guy tell me I'm wrong to my face that its normal from the moisture to go from 4% to 33% overnight. In what world is that normal. How can they guarantee the leak is fixed but there is still moisture in our carpets from said leak? After sending probably 8 different people out to look at these fans, it was then concluded the WRONG FANS had been installed the whole time. They had installed dehumidifiers, not drying fans, which accounts to our constant nose bleeds, even one for my baby daughter. After this was discovered, Adam's stopped showing up for work yet again. The only time the landlord was able to get into contact with them was to ask if they had spoken to the insurance adjuster to complete the work, which they had not. The adjuster then confirmed that Adam's was not answering their calls either. When asked again if they would meet the strict deadline of December 15th to complete construction, we were laughed at and told it would take FOUR MONTHS. Adam's has since been fired.

If anyone from Adam's bothers to read these, please come collect the 6 fans you have abandoned at my house (I think you know what house this is). According to you they cost roughly $20,000. They will be sitting on my front porch for you to collect at your leisure, since that is how you handle business.

I also want to comment on your mask policy. Out of the nearly 40 different people that have been through my house in the last year and a half, not a single one wore a mask. This all began at the start of the pandemic too. Even when my household had tested positive for covid and we did our part to notify Adams about our results, no one seemed to care and continued to show up without masks, despite us all being positive and us having an infant in the house.

It is mind boggling how you can function as a business, let alone as human beings putting other people through such torture and undue stress and anxiety.

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! Like the majority of customers If I could give this company zero starts I Would!! Adams Restoration Is DISCOURTEOUS!! We started this project at the beginning NOVEMBER I am writing this review late FEBRUARY and they are still not done with TWO ROOMS that needed a floor replaced For AN 80YR WOMAN!! Previous appointments and deadlines have been missed (of course i'm always considering COVID-19)However the company continually missed appointments that were made. She has not been able to sleep in her room FOR 4Months because her furniture is in a pod upfront taking up our driveway!! They put her furniture in the pod to get the floors done & the flooring is still in the process of being done!
-William the Product Manager : Spent all of his time and effort into coming up with excuses instead making solution for the problem..
- Nathan The Dispatch : Was disrespectful and sarcastic. He would not tell me the name of the Manager of the company and said i'll send him a message..
- Morgan The Dispatch: Morgan was understanding  and professional.. Communicating with Morgan has been a breath of fresh air..

Minor leak in tub lead to nearly $5000 in charges for two drywall repairs, one of which didn't need repaired. Many others have shared this as well but the best word to describe Adams is FRAUD. Included a line item charge for $300 in HVAC labor despite absolutely no HVAC involvement. Referred to a plumber who claimed he replaced a busted pipe but really just added puddy to a drain, and charged $450. Unresponsive. Non-proactive. Unhelpful. Slow. Call office and all you hear is oh I don't deal with that department, you'll have to talk to someone else.

If a plumber (Big G in my case) calls them out, RUN! They scam thru plumbers and the plumber will make 500-1000 on the other side of their sudden repairs. They don't wait on insurance, don't give estimates, they just run in and start work so you don't have time to process anything except their bill on the other side. RUN... RUN.. RUN to another licensed, bonded, and insured company.

At first, I was very pleased with the service from Adams Disaster & Restoration.  They were very helpful and helped me file a claim with my insurance company.  They even assured me that the insurance company will pay (although I did take this with a grain of salt), and they assured me that a representative will be at my house the same time as the claims adjuster.  Well, when the time came for the insurance inspection, Adams D&R were not present.  I called 10 minutes before the appointed time and was told that I would receive a call back.  1 hour later-after the inspection-I called to follow up and was told someone was on his way.  1 hour after that, someone came by.  Through our conversation, he tried to claim that this damage is old and I should follow up with the people who sold me the house.  I have lived in my house for 2 years and never noticed a leak.  I kept asking him if I didn't notice a leak how would they notice and he finally said, I see your point.

Well, insurance did not approve my claim.  Because of the experience I started to have with Adams, I asked for a detailed invoice as I was worried about being over charged for services.   And I was.  They tried to say I had equipment at my house longer than I actually did, which I was able to successfully dispute with footage from my Ring camera.  By this point, I would only communicate with them via email so I would have everything in writing.  Which came in handy as they tried to change the agreed upon payment arrangements twice now.  Once, they demanded a higher initial payment, then they called on a payment that was not past due.  (As an aside, I am still waiting for proof of payment from my payment 3 days ago, even though it is clearly on my credit card statement).

I went as far as filing a claim with the BBB as I am concerned with the legitimacy of this business.  Over a month later, the BBB closed my claim as there was no response from Adams.  I am seriously considering taking this further as I do not believe this company is being fully legal with their practices.

I see there are many good reviews for this company.  Again, I was very pleased with them for about a week.  I wonder how many of these good reviews have since changed their mind.

If there was a half star, I would give it. Lets just say, I got a WHOLE ENTIRE POOL built in my backyard before Adams finished the job. I was harassed for payment by Annette even in Sundays. They didn't go through the proper protocol to get my claim approved by insurance so they were asking for money, that was not yet given to me by my insurance company. After it was finally approved the calls came again. I told them I would call once the insurance check was received and posted. (Never mind the bank being closed on a holiday) I was threatened to have a lawyer called on me like I was committing a crime or withholding payment. I never withheld payment. I paid the deposit right away. They took 5 MONTHS to get the job done. They would place me on hold, never return my calls and leave items in my home. I had my bathroom sink on THE FLOOR FOR A MONTH!!!!!!!
They had way too many blowers hooked up to one outlet and now the bathroom outlets don't work. When their guy came out, he said someone messed with the outlets. I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They do have a few decent people who work there. Shane, Neiann and Francisco are nice people.

They will scam you. Make you sign contracts that lock you into not saying anything bad about them. Charge you for work you didn't ask for or do. They will put a hole into your wall and then not come back until you pay them thousands. DO NOT USE.

Adam's Disaster and Restoration did beyond a phenomenal job restoring our flood damage to our home. Everything down to the sub floor and insulation had to be ripped out and replaced. My wife and I took this opportunity to update our hardwood and tiled floors and we couldn't be happier. Would recommend 10/10. Great job guys!

I wish I could give this company a zero. They don't keep their promises. They are always late. They don't clean up after themselves. They change disappointments without telling you. Even their own employees talk badly about how horrible the office staff is.

It started off well but quickly became my worst nightmare and the job isn't even remotely close to being done. My water damage happened on July 29th and its no closer to being done on September 6th. I feel bad for the hard working laborers of this company. They are actually very nice, but chose the wrong place to work.

Adams was hired by AMPM Plumbing who flooded my master bath and closet. Adams did the demo and dried the space then abandoned the job after ripping out walls, door/frames and flooring. It's been 4 months and my bathroom and closet are still not restored. Adams abandoned the job staying they were to busy to complete it. Reported this company to their ROC. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Extremely rude front end people. I was told my Annette that I'm not their only customer. Morgan then promised me a few times they were working on my file to get a restore team in. They finally sent someone the next day then tried to intimidate me stating the only way they will fix my space is if I pull my report to the state. My bathroom/closet continue to not be fixed.

My tenant calls at midnight due to flooding everywhere in my rental property. Called Adams they sent a crew out in the middle of the night to dry out walls and baseboards. Would highly recommend them for and flood or fire damage great to work with and was amazed at their level of customer service.  One call and they took care of everything. Thank you everyone at Adams resto.

Let's see - the company was called on behalf of a plumber without my knowledge. Then they show up and convince me that my insurance will cover the damage and start setting up equipment. My insurance company comes out and says there is no damage to cover. Adams pulls their equipment and sends me a bill. On day 15 after receiving the bill - I get a collections email from a third part!

Beware - stay away! They have left me exhausted, frustrated, and messing with my credit all for nothing and services I didn't need - Phoenix summers will dry my attic leak! Fully took advantage of me by leading me to believe the damage was worse than it was.

Hi I saw all the bad reviews and I can't believe it could be the same company I dealt with. I was referred to this company by another contractor and I could not be more pleased. They sent out a guy named Paco. He started at 9 a.m. right on time. He went to work on my guesthouse drywall after another company had bungled the job and left a mess with the job half done. Paco showed up, he used plastic tarps to protect my tile and grout all the way to the entrance, repaired the bungled job from the other guys, he was very professional and finished the whole job by 4:30p.m. that the other guys  couldn't do in three days.
I recommend this company for all drywall
work, make sure you ask for Paco!

Do not do it! Every time a technician would visit our home we had to start from the beginning and tell them what they said they would work on during the visit...and they still wouldn't do the wor

Visit 1: a tech arrived and outlined what would be done on the next visit. Visit 2: A tech arrived and had absolutely no record and/or understanding of the next steps discussed from Visit 1 and relied on us for scope of work. Visit 3-4: Repeat.

I reached out to discuss my concerns about lack of communication and was extremely detailed to an unprofessional woman on the phone who offered no solutions. She asked me to hold and transferred me to another gentleman and I was asked to start from the beginning, which validated my concerns regarding communication. Also asked to speak to the GM and was told she would call me. Never happened. We got fed up, had them pull all equipment and called a professional and knowledgeable company.

I'm trying to keep this brief. It is a stressful time when an unplanned catastrophic event like this happens to your home. Take extra time to vet out these businesses and know that you have options and don't have to settle

Literally the worst experience I've had with any company. They took advantage of me and my brother as new homeowners and have yet to complete a simple job after 4 months! They are scammers looking to get money from any means. They completed the demolition quickly then abandoned the job and they don't answer the phone. So I'm basically stuck in a situation where they took the insurance money and left us in the dark. All of their employees are trained to spew BS and make everything seem smooth, but what they really do is destroy your property then avoid any contact completely. I am 100% sure any restoration company is better than these no good scammers. This is the most unprofessional POS business that I have ever come across. All they do is point the blame elsewhere, ignore your calls (after destroying your property), and lie to your face. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your property and time.

They were brought in by our home warranty people and AM PM Plumbing. They brought in the huge fans we didn't want. Did a crap job in Our bathroom demo. Cut drywall up past the ceiling (unnecessary) and past all the 2x4 support boards...making a ton more damage for us to fix. They try to up the bill and damages so they make more money if they do the repairs. Worst company and worst ratings for a reason. Plus they left the water damaged cabinet for us to dispose of but had no trouble taking our $1500 bathtub to resell.

Likely the worst experience I have had with a business. We had a water leak and Adams came to dry the floors after the leak was stopped. The company and our insurance company came to an agreement of the cost of services and Adams billed us for $700 more than what they should have. After numerous threatening and rude phone calls from Annette in their billing department to my wife, I had enough. I called and asked for the accurate invoice. Annette continued to call and harass me and my wife even threatening to put a lien on our home if we did not pay even though we were simply waiting for the accurate invoice to pay. I have never had such an awful and rude experience with a company. Stay very clear of these folks.

I have had many home projects done & have dealt with many contractors but have NEVER EVER had such HORRIBLE experience anywhere.

Adams restoration company is the WORST COMPANY to work with. I had a water damage due to a water heater leak. Adams was referred to by the Home warranty company. They went to work right away with many promises and lies. The ripped open a wall where the damage was. They claimed to DRY out all the water before rebuilding. But once that was done, they disappeared asking us to call back when the water heater was replaced.
After the water heater was replaced, and we called them, there was a lady who insisted that if we paid them $500, she could scheduled the rebuild process the very next day. Trusting that, we paid the $500 through our credit card. But nobody turned up.
After multiple attempts to call them, we finally spoke to a lady ANNETTE . She is the most RUDE person i have ever spoken to. She insisted that since the insurance claim was approved for $2300 while they claimed $7500 and since the insurance company had paid us directly for the damages, we pay up the $2300 for the cleanup work that was done first before she could schedule a PROJECT MANAGER to call & schedule the rebuild... The quote for $7500 was way too much for the work that was done by them(basically just put multiple fans to dry the humidity out).  On asking for more details regarding the invoice and on expressing the urgency to schedule the rebuild, she turned out ABUSIVE and Threatened my husband & I. Not wanting to deal with that, we paid the company with the promise that the said 'project manager' would call us the same day. This conversation was 2 weeks since the water damage had happened. Its been a week since the payment to Adams and we have not heard from anyone. On calling them today, a lady MORGAN said the same that a project manager will call us to schedule the rebuild. We have paid $2800 for a couple of fans to dry the moisture out of walls & for the company to rip open my home.
The wall that was ripped open is an external wall leading to my children's room. Its been 4weeks now since the damage & I still not have had anyone call me back. We are now trying to get the repair done through an independent contractor.
The WORST EXPERIENCE  EVER. I don't know how this company is still in business with such ruthless & worthless working for them.

I am the wife of one of the brothers you're company screwed over.
We cancelled a contract with another company in order to give your company the business. I'm a family friend, or at least I thought I was (until looking back on the fact someone I call family recommended us to use Adams Disaster and Restoration), and have met Shane on several occasions.
My husband and his brother lost their mother in this disaster/fire. All we wanted was help.
That was in July....... The work was never finished, and due to reverse mortgage issues, they had to take it at a loss as to not end up owing.

Then...... prior to this knowledge, I made the mistake of referring your company to a close friend. Her bathroom has been torn apart for over 3 months, and there is still no progress.

Basically, I'm disgusted with your company, the people who work there, and anyone who'd refer you.

WARNING!! Avoid this company at all cost!! I had this company recommended by Pink Plumbing and I first used them at a rental home. I was first told by the owner of Pink Plumbing that he has a special deal with owner and if for some reason insurance doesn't pay that they don't charge for initial cleanup. I had water damage that required part of a wall to be removed, 3 kitchen cabinets to be removed, cleaning up, spraying, fans for over a week. The insurance refused to pay (different issue) and they of course still charged me. I didn't make a fuss because it was a lot of work and they deserve to be paid. I was charged $1700. At the end of the time they were at my rental house I had minor damage at my own home. I called them and when they arrived I asked the price, THEY NEVER GIVE ME A PRICE. Every time I would ask how much something was I would be told Oh don't worry, the insurance covers it. If they don't they work with insurance and are able to get it and otherwise they work with you Well insurance didn't pay and for having fans on for a week, where they didn't show up 4 times when they said they would and my husband and I finally turned them off. Then they removed just one vanity. They are charging me $2000! I asked how that's possible and I would NEVER have called them of had them do that job. I continually asked for a price and wasn't given one. I then compared what was done to my rental house and what I was charged and compared to job done at my house and I estimated at MOST it would be $500! When I was told $2000 and asked to explain difference since it's the same company at the same time, I was told they wouldn't discuss that. Ann then said then went to speak to owner and came back saying it was $1500. I asked for an invoice which she wouldn't send for several weeks. When she finally did it was for $2000. I reminded her she had said $1500 and I needed a payment plan as I didn't have that amount of money up front and she just sent me to collections for $2000 again!
This is how they work with you!
Thank GOD I didn't have them restore my kitchen at the rental! They just did the drying and demolition. I was given an estimate of $3700 to restore just my kitchen cabinets! Everyone else was closer to $1200!
I'm not sure how this isn't insurance fraud. I know they charge this amount of money to insurance. Avoid at all cost!! I wish I had looked at reviews before just taking recommendations from Pink Plumbing

I did file a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office as well as the BBB. Adams continues to make false statements and claim that by tearing the floor boards from my walls even though there was no water was work? LOL. I had to pay my homeowners insurance to fix their damage which of course comes out of my pocket. I encourage anyone who has had my experience to file a complaint which can be done from the comfort of your own home, on-line. God does not like ugly and this company is ugly!

I am writing to inform you of the extreme difficulties, inconveniences and unprofessionalism I have faced hiring your company to complete a water mitigation and rebuild on my house.

Adams Restoration started services on September 5, 2018, and the job was completed on February 11, 2019. The timeline of the project is unacceptable given the scope of work. Over 5 months to complete the water mitigation and rebuild of a house that is 1,085 sq. feet. The scope of the project included the water mitigation of the leaking area, reflooring the house, patch work of the drywall, and rebuild of the inside of my cabinets as the faces of the cabinets were left intact. I have had several quotes from licensed contractors and this scope of work should have taken 3 weeks to complete.

There were several occasions in which none of the workers showed up at my house or showed up several hours after the scheduled start time. Most notably, November 15, 2018, in which I had taken the day off from work to oversee the rebuild of my floors. I was assured the workers would show up at my house at 8:00am sharp. The workers did not show up to my house until after 12pm. 4 hours late to a job is unacceptable, specially the fact that the customer had to take off work to oversee the project.  The inability to prioritize my project, forced me out of my home for almost 3 months. I drove an additional hour and half per day, and 20 miles due to the inconvenience of my home not being livable.

The quality of the work on the floors caused a multitude of re-work. I addressed the issues of the baseboards, drywall, and missing patches of floor in my email to the company on November 14 ,2018, including pictures. Your company addressed the concerns, however re-work of the flooring and baseboards pushed out the project longer than if the work was done correctly the first time. I hired your company to oversee the construction of my house, and it is the project manager's job to ensure that the construction is being completed on time and any quality issues are resolved along the way. These are the services I expected from your company but failed to receive.

In addition, I had 3 project managers throughout the timeline of my project. Jason started on the rebuild, Jeremy picked up half way through the rebuild, and Cody completed the project. This further delayed the project. Each time, I had to reach out to the company when there was no response from the PM, in which case I was informed that 2 of these 3 project managers left the company. For each new project manager, I had to lay out the scope of the project before they could pick up the project. This is extremely unprofessional, as the scope of a project should be clearly laid out by the PM, not the customer.

Lastly, there were discrepancies on the final bill in which the invoice was overstated by $300. I am extremely disappointed in the discrepancy in the final billing and had I not kept track of the expenses in my own worksheet, I probably would not have caught the error.

I have informed the plumbing company that referred me to Adams Restoration of the unsatisfactory services that your company provided. I am extremely concerned the services or lack of services that were provided by Adams restoration, and believe that future customers should be aware.

Adams Restoration came out when we had a pipe burst under our kitchen sink. They came out right away and walked us through the process of what to expect over the next week. They worked with my insurance company and got everything handled quickly. We were so happy to have been referred to them because we had no idea of what to expect. They did a great job and we'd be happy to refer them to our friends and family.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. A plumbing service through our home warranty, recommended this drywall service. The guy sent out was very odd. He told us he has ADD and takes medication for it. Okay...Then, he told my husband our drywall problem was from neglect and that he knows how to manipulate people. He said he would call back. Thank God when he left us his card, I looked up the reviews. I went with someone else.

We had a water leak from a toilet of which the dishonest plumber (sent by a home warranty) who never even repaired the toilet but instead spent the whole time trying to scare us about mold.
He recommended Adams for mold treatment and repair.  We contacted them and they made the small water leak seem like a disaster which would require over 10K in repairs.   We did not personally inspect all the damage and trusted this company-  a huge mistake.  Read all the reviews!  This company pays the plumbers to scare people of the water damage and to recommend Adams service.  Adams promised to coordinate everything with the insurance company.  The next day they went in and destroyed the bathroom and walls such that it was in operable.  Then 2 months later nothing happened despite multiple calls and texts.  The 2 bathroom home was down to one.  I finally got a hold of Morgan at Adams  and she recommended we use another company because they could not get to this repair for another month at the earliest.  This was unacceptable!  After doing some research on this company,  we realized this is their unscrupulous business model and many people have reported the same experience: Plumber sent by warranty company recommends Adams then Adams demos so much so they can collect large amounts from insurance companies.  This company is a scam!!  Avoid this company!

I had a great experience with this company when I had them out to help repair my home after coming back into town after a month long summer vacation and found that our ice maker line had leaked while we were gone, creating a significant amount of damage to our home.  Being new homeowners this was our first experience having to deal with our homeowners insurance and we really had no idea how the whole thing worked, who to call, and how the process proceeded.  Thank God for the whole Adams team as they literally helped us out every single step of the way which made things extremely easy and comforting for us. Our home is finally back to normal and I don't know what I would have done if Adams was not referred to us by our plumber.  My experience with Adams D&R was nothing less than 5 stars. 1st day: Shane was very professional when he arrived and felt I was in good hands with Adams D&R helping me with water damage my water heater leak created. He told me the next person would be out in about an hour. No call or sign of this person for hours. He finally called me ans said he was on his way...I told him that no one was home and would be home at 7pm. He met me when I got home at 7pm. and set up machines.
2nd Day: The next group of men came by in the morning to cut into the drywall and they were helpful, however, they did not mention how long the machines would be here, duration of time they would be here, and when anyone would be back for them. They also had this machine that had a clear plastic tube going out to my rock bed in the front of house as if there was so much water being dispersed that they needed that. Not appropriate at all (makes me wonder if this was just an added addition for my insurance to have to pay for when not needed).
3rd day: This morning, I had Mark call me from their office and he said, We need you to pay this bill as soon as possible. I was so taken off guard since my insurance  company was paying for this. I told him that my insurance company is paying the bill and he said, Well, then you need to pay your deductible. I told him I already paid my deductible with the insurance carrier. He then said he needed to talk to Shane and was sorry to have bothered me! What the heck? I told him how upset I was with the poor service and would let others know.  Alex called me after Mark informed him that I was to write a poor review and he apologized and told me he was having staff issues.

Would give zero stars if I could. Noticed a discolored spot on closet wall and called out a plumber for possible leak. Plumber called Adams, not me. Adams came out quickly initially but every interaction since has been a huge pain! DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE AWFUL! A small hole in our closet wall and new carpet has taken over a month to fix and replace and they have only called out when we yelled at them repeatedly. They blew off appointment times along the way and continually lied to us. No promises were followed through on. I WISH I HAD GONE WITH MY GUT AND FIRED THEM WHEN I ORIGINALLY WANTED TO! I should have found someone else!!! I feel like the plumber must get a kickback from them because once they are in there, you feel like its easier to stick with them and just keep the process moving.

Absolutely the worst business I've ever dealt with. They give you promises and do not deliver in any way. Please understand if you deal with this company you are dealing with a liar, and very disorganized office. Promise

BEWARE!! Adams D&R and AM PM Plumbing (at least their plumber Douglas) are scammers.  One of my shower faucets was leaking.  My home warranty company gave the job to AM PM.  First they sent someone out with a meter and determined there was no leakage in the walls or floor.  Their plumber, Douglas, comes out and decides he needs Anthony from Adams D&R to look at it.  Anthony uses his meter and starts putting up blue tape everywhere, has me call my home insurance company and start a claim.  He was very pushy with them wanting a claim number or adjusters name and info.  But it was after 5 on Friday and they wouldn't assign one until Monday.  He calls his office and then tells me they can start demolition the next day.  I tell him NO!  They keep calling and when I tell them I'm waiting for the adjuster he tells me they like to see you've started the work.  NO THEY DON'T.  Meanwhile I have a leaking water heater and another company comes out.  They recommend someone else to check for water damage and they do the same meter reading and determine there isn't any water behind the walls or under the floor.   I talked to the adjuster on Monday and canceled the claim.  Apparently this is a common scam.  I told Adams D&R the claim was denied so they have left me alone.  Both of these companies have many BAD reviews.  Steer clear of both of them!

Adam's operations process is atrocious. They are so disorganized and so overstaffed by a team that does not communicate that not one part of the process went smoothly. Their contractors are flakey, their dispatchers are inaccurate with time windows, the pricing and insurance process couldn't be explained by the owner himself...literally, not one thing went smoothly. This simple project went overdue by 4 weeks. Adam's ineptitude spurs my curiosity as to how a place like this can even stay in business. I have miles of email chains, text chains and voicemails all documenting my horrible experience.

This one star is exclusively for Ginette as she is the only capable person at this company that made valiant attempts to cat wrangle the office in an attempt to get my bathroom put back together. Unfortunately for her, Adam's could not deliver appropriately despite her guidance.

Let my experience serve as warning to all to stay clear.

We initially called Adams repair because it was the first place that showed up on Yelp while our family room was flooding. They came out immediately and did an excellent job minimizing the damage and drying out the water.

We had some challenges shortly after this with communication with the office management, which caused us to read yelp reviews. It was at this point we realized they had some bad reviews and we almost canceled working with them.

However we moved forward and I am so glad we did! First of all, our 90 year old grandparents live with us... so the thought of moving out of our house for weeks on end was very stressful. Jeremy the contractor was the main person we worked with and he was so attentive to understanding our situation, trying to get our project done as fast as possible but also as quality as possible. They completed the entire massive project in less then 5 days and kept their guys there until very late in the evening each day to finish. The work crew was very respectful while on site and communicated well with my grandparents to make sure they didn't startle them when they came and left. Jeremy went above and beyond and was great to work with. He also had a lead guy on the project- Jose- who ensured the paint and drywall crew paid close attention to detail and  worked his crew hard to help us get back in our house as fast as possible and with a very quality finish!

Again, if you have any problems it will be with the office, but it's worth calling back to have the opportunity to work with Jeremy!! We are really happy with how the work turned out.

Recenty, I had some remodeling done on my property .  When the contractors opened the ceiling to replace the sheet rock they found mold from an old roofing leak. The contractors told me that I should be calling a restoration company.  I called Adams for help.  They were on site within 1 hour and were extremely helpful. They were extremely professional and informative about what steps to take and how to remedy the issue... I hope that I don't ever run into this issue again but if I do I know who I'm calling.

Shane and the team are the best in the business. Always taking care of their customers needs and working as a team to get folks back to what they're used to. The crew came on time as scheduled, and they finished the project even earlier than scheduled. Excellent service! Their price was very honest, and affordable for us.

Thanks Adam Disaster and Restoration.

The best water restoration company in town. We used Adam's Disaster when a pipe bursted in one of our units, and had to get it fixed right away. A local plumber that we trust recommended Adam's to us. He came to our unit, and was on top of all of it. He gave us expectations, and what the insurance would cover, and various dates that when it would be completed. Everything that he said went accordingly to plan, and they made such a difficult situation a lot easier than I thought was possible. Thank you for all your help.

Terrible customer services the contractors they have are unprofessional and don't show to work sites . We needed some areas to be redone and it's taken almost 2 months for someone to answer my call and send someone out to get the job done correctly. I would not recommend this company . Do your research before hiring

Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!!!  5 months of aggravation.  I'm not happy with the outcome, but I would rather fix their mistakes than continue with their chaos. Project manager was constantly confused about our job. Sending dry Waller's over when there wasn't any to be done. People to install cabinets that weren't there. Every time we talked to him he had no recollection of previous conversations. When we would call the office to get some help he would get mad and be nonexistent. Go somewhere else. This went on for 5 months.

WOW!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS JUST WOW!!!!

I have dealt with a restoration company prior when I was living San Diego and they were a nightmare...So you can imagine the stress I felt when I came home and the entire first floor of my home had an inch of water in it.....I thought to myself, self. YOU MY DEAR ARE SCREWED because restoration companies are out to ruin your life and drain your pockets!!!!!!!!! BUT NOT ADAMS! First of all, they were at my home within 25 minutes because they were in the area. Shane was the first guy on site and I was shocked by how personable he was and also so sympathetic to my situation. He was familiar with my insurance and assured me on what would be covered and also stayed with me while I filed a claim. This eased my anxiety tremendously... I was able to stay up in a hotel and the the immediately began drying out my home immediately we only ran into one speed bump and they kept me up to date on progress and surprisingly hit every single deadline. The cleaning crew that came in after the work was done was immaculate!!

ALL I can say is thank you thank you thank you!!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

This is continuation of my previous review. They recently came back to put our stored belongings back in our house. They had to take apart my pool table to make it fit. Well, they did not put the pool table back together when they did it. This weekend, we went to put it back together, and found out that they threw away two of the support pieces. I no longer have a pool table thanks to them. Oh, and I emailed them and never heard back. WORST COMPANY EVER!

Overall I'm happy with the final product of the work I received from Adams. We had a leak in one of the rooms in our house, and they provided the mitigation and rebuild services. The teams that came out were efficient and professional. Ramon the rebuild tech was particularly good, making sure I was consulted on various steps of the rebuild and that I was happy with the final product.

Some of my issues were with communication with the office staff. From start to finish, this job took 2 and 1/2 months, which is pretty long for such a small job. Part of this was miscommunication between our insurance and them (which isn't entirely their fault), but some of it was just internal communication issues. For example, once insurance had approved the rebuild we were told someone would call to schedule it. After not receiving a call for a week, we finally had to call them ourselves. We found out we weren't called because the scheduling person wasn't properly notified. The rebuild itself was also rescheduled last minute (literally a text the night before), and then they didn't show up for the date they rescheduled for! Part of me feels I should leave 3 stars, but all my interactions with their techs who came to my house were great. The work they did outweighs some of these office issues for me, but they might not for everyone. They just need to work on better communication internally.

I got referred by AM PM Plumbing. They stated the would need Adams to create access to fix a leaky pipe. At first I got a good vibe from the tech Alex but after he left I did my reasearch. Am pm has horrible reviews and so does Adams. Adams already set up a dehumidifier and another machine. So I decided I wanted to get a second opinion. I called to let them know and to ask that they remove the machines. They said it was ok and to just turn off the machine. This was at 8pm. The next morning I called to see when they would be coming, she said they were actually already on their way. An hour later I get a call saying I wasn't home when they came. My sister and I are home and writing letters in our kitchen and did not hear a single noise. She said she would have the tech turn back around and have him call me. When he called me I asked if he went to the correct house, he game me the right address but could not validate the color of the house. I saw from another user that they charged him extra for having the machine in his home so I suspect that is why they are trying to keep the machine in my home as long as possible.

It is very, very frustrating working with Adams Disaster and Restoration (ADR) that doesn't listen to you, doesn't provide information on what's going on, has no organization, doesn't return calls/texts, and whose sole purpose is to collect as much money as they can from our insurance company and from us for work we never requested for.  Shane and the contracted worker were both very dishonest with me in listening to our needs. Our oral agreement was to  repair our roof and drywall, we did not want or need mitigation equipment. I called the office and a woman named Annette was very rude to me and kept me on hold for a long time  I called another time, and a man told me that if I don't pay the amount due they will put a lien on my home and will sue me many times more that what is owed.  The insurance paid them $1,900, and now they want another $1,100 from us.  This company is greedy, dishonest, and shouldn't be in business.

ADR is another reason why Home Owners Insurance companies are raising their rates each year, by committing fraudulent claims, knowingly the insurance will pay them.  Stay far away from ADR and Liberty Mutual for accepting their claim.  I told Liberty Mutual to cancel and they ended up paying ADR, at the end I loss money, my Home Owners Insurance rates went up and ADR gained everything.  The Home Owners Insurance and Mitigation industry is rigged and favors the Mitigation Company, not the home owner, whom is actually paying for the Home Owners Insurance to represent them.  I unfortunately loss in court.

Giving them a 1 rating is way more than they deserve. What started as a plumbing disaster, ended up as the worst experience of my life due to Adams Disaster & Recovery. The repair and restoration should have taken maybe a few weeks, and ended up taking 4 months. They never returned phone calls, they never showed up when they said they would, they never cleaned the air filters (in 4 months!) in the machines they brought to clean the air from all the dust. I had never dealt with a mitigation company before this one, but when I asked my insurance agent who was aware of the nightmare they were causing, if this was normal, he told me NO! Finally he recommended a LEGITIMATE mitigation company, so I fired Adams. And after I fired them, they still called, and showed up at my house to replace the air filter. I had to tell them they already removed my machines when I fired them. They were so incompetent they didn't even know they were fired when they were fired. How they remain in business is a mystery. I know they have changed their name from Adams D&R. I presume once they had 1,000 complaints they dropped that name and became Adams Disaster and Recovery.

Very disappointing.  We are still waiting about three months later to get the job finished. The guys doing the actual work do good work, but ONLY when they are given the work orders.  There are constant delays, unfulfilled promises and frustration.  I have been told that somethings that were NOT approved by the insurance adjuster really were.  I had the breakdown from her to prove it.  I question whether they bothered to look up the information before making their statements.  One person in particular I consider a bulldozer as we received calls demanding they be allowed to pick up an insurance check we weren't even aware had been sent..  It didn't arrive until a week later.  Everytime there was a problem it originated in the front office.  I may have to have someone else finish the job as they don't seem that interested.

Keep looking, please save yourself the headache and spend your money wisely. We had our bathroom done by these guys, they had to send someone after the first time because it was done so poorly. What happened the second time? It was done poorly, again. The tile was not leveled, the grout was not done properly, the grout by the bathtub was also done horribly. I had a different contractor come do work on another bathroom recently and when they saw Adams D&R work they were in shock how poorly things were done. I'm ashamed I didn't know any better but hope I can save someone else the pain and frustration!

Do not use these people they want to charge for work they do not do. They are very unorganized and are very hard to get ahold of . They don't return calls and the work is substandard. They try to get your insurance company to pay for services not rendered. Go to the next contractor

Adam Disaster is the company to call when there is water damage to your home. They are efficient and professional and will get the work done. They do a fantastic job of restoring your home or business back to working order. They were able to fix our water damage in a week, and insurance covered all the damage.

It seems as if they dont care about being prompt, and give BS answers on why they were late. At the start is was ok but I was still a bit cautious. They put the dryers and blowers where the work was taking place then left. I was instructed to contact them via phone and let them know when my insurance adjuster was scheduled to view the damage. I called and was placed on hold, I called back and same thing without the lady asking me anything. I called back and same disrespectful response, and put on hold. This raises a red flag with me. All I wanted to do was leave a message for the person I was asked to. If I cant get a hold of someone now, what can I expect when or if an issue comes up? I called back and told the lady to cancel my service and come pick up your equipment. Can you believe she changed her voice as if I wouldn't recognize it and then started to ask if she could help... Too late! Stop playing games with me. Now Ill be using another company.

My experience with Adams was a positive one due to Caylee Frost the project manager assigned to us.  She always picks up the phone and was at our home almost every day her attention to detail and understanding of the insurance claims is outstanding.  I would recommended Adams Disaster & Restoration to anybody in need of getting there home back to normal with that said request Caylee to manage your job from start to finish as she was the shining star with this company.
