Friends of ours referred Able Carpets, after Mike got their carpet installed in a tight timeline during the holidays.
So we've had our new carpet for a little over a month now, and we're still in awe of how amazing it looks and feels.

Mike explained everything during his initial visit, he brought a bunch of samples, and made sure we looked at the samples in the rooms where the carpet was going. The lighting in the different rooms brought out different colors in the samples, which allowed us to pick the perfect color for us. It's amazing what a difference lighting makes.  We'd have never picked this color under different light, but it look amazing.

The installation was flawless, and Mike has followed up with us a couple of times to make sure we were completely satisfied with all aspects of the job, which we are.

I haven't decided what I want to do yet but Mike came over and measured and quoted me up. He's very reliable and on time. He's not pushy and hasn't been bugging me to order which I appreciate. I can't say anything about the carpet install yet but so far I've loved the communication and the explanation he gave me.

Great install of the carpet on my stairs.  The installers did an great job.  But they left a mess everywhere.  My basement was remodel and completed a week ago.  The floors were spotless.  After the carpet install there was a layer of dust and dust balls everywhere.  In every room !!  Took me an hour and a half to clean up the mess  !!

We just got our carpet installed and we love it! We went with Abel because it didn't feel like a sleezy sales pitch like so many other flooring stores. They provide an overview of the various product options and are very knowledgeable about flooring. Once we knew what we wanted we got it installed less than a week later. Quality is great!

As a Realtor in The Valley I can attest that it is hard to find reliable contractors. Rest assure, Mike, is as reputable as it gets (and beyond)! Him and his crew removed old tile and carpet and replaced it with wood tile. They did a BEAUTIFUL job and were able to match the other wood tile that was no longer made. We receive so many compliments on it. We had no problems with communication or clean up. His crew showed up on time and didn't stop working until the end of the day. They were all super nice and we can wait to work with Mike again when we are ready to replace our old carpet (working on potty training a puppy).

My husband & I were looking to change our fully carpeted upstairs Master Bedroom, closet, and loft area to laminate just as we moved into our new home. We wanted a local company to do it so I came across Abel Carpet Tile and Wood via Google and loved the reviews! I decided to give them a call.

Mike was professional and timely and spent time showing my husband lots of options in our home so that he could see what it would look like. He did not pressure us to buy and checked-in with me after he sent us the estimate.

It was estimated that the work would take 2 days so we were pleasantly surprised when it only took one! Mike's team was professional, fun to work with, and super clean! They had excellent recommendations and worked with our needs. We will be using them again when we decide to change all of the carpet downstairs as well! I called Mike to request a quote to replace ~900 sq ft of tile, carpet, and laminate with a single laminate throughout. He came out the very next day to provide a quote and scheduled me for a couple weeks later. Mike immediately made me feel comfortable about the whole process and was very professional. He even pointed out things that the others I obtained quotes from missed so I knew he was trustworthy and experienced.

Rob and crew started the job on a Monday and were completely done by Wednesday afternoon- much quicker than expected! Rob is clearly a perfectionist and treated every aspect of the job as if he were doing it for his own home.

I also had the tile around my fireplace replaced which the crew did a beautiful job on. Again, an incredibly friendly and professional team.

The team left the place spotless and Mike came by himself to inspect the final product and to ensure that we were completely satisfied.

It was a pleasure to do business with Mike Fasano. I had my upstairs carpet replaced (about 1300 square feet) and the result is fantastic. Mike is a true professional that allows his work to speak for him. There was no sales pressure in dealing with Mike and he answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. I would use Abel Carpet again!  I was looking to get new carpet in my entire house.  I priced 2 other companies and found that Able Carpet and Rick were not only very competitive in prices but gave me the best customer service.  Working with Rick was a pleasure.  He was no pressure, worked with our schedule for installation and fixed the one and only problem we had very quickly, he wanted to make sure I was happy with everything, and the way it turned out.  If you are considering flooring, this is the place to go.

I would absolutely recommend working with Abel Carpet Tile and Wood. We have a rental home in Gilbert that needed new tile & carpet. Mike came out within a day of calling for a quote and we got on the schedule for the following week. What I liked most about working with Mike was his easy breezy attitude.

My experience with Abel Carpet Tile and Wood was A+. It was so easy to work with Mike Fasano and his crew. Based on the high yelp reviews, I called Abel for a quote to remove tile from a bathroom and tile the bathroom and connecting bedroom. Mike returned my call the same day and we scheduled a walk through for an estimate. He quickly provided me a competitive quote for the work, and about two weeks later the work started. Mike and his crew were punctual, tidy, and incredibly efficient. He estimated the work would be done in three days, and in reality it took about 1.5 days! After the demo and tile were complete, there were a few very minor problems that needed addressing. Mike arranged for the crew to return the next day, and they quickly fixed the areas that needed a bit more work. I am thrilled with the service I received and I will call Mike in the future to complete the tile work I need to have done in my home.

Mike has a very consultative approach. He brought samples, shared insights on layout, and made some solid recommendations (diagonal placement, small grout lines, etc) that we took and are grateful for it.

The team was great. Very friendly, hard-working, and talented. They respected our house, laid plastic over the carpeted areas and cleaned up after themselves. More importantly, the intricacy and detail on some of the tile cuts amazed my wife. Its obvious they take great pride in their work.

Mike and his foreman stopped in several times each day of the job to check-in and make sure things were progressing smoothly. He was there to answer questions and provide updates. His foreman was professional and knowledgeable.

Excellent Company Mike the owner came out and measured and showed me samples. The first two carpets I picked they were out of stock so Mike showed me another carpet of like or better quality. We bought the True Perfection carpet it is beautiful and plush. I love it and so did my husband when he got home from work today.  I will let you know how it is a year from now.  If you need carpet , tile,or wood call Mike he and his crew are very nice and professional. The Crew was on time they were very polite and ask if it was ok to listen to music. They cleaned up before they left and even help put back some of our furniture that we had moved before they arrived.  they also would have moved the furniture out before laying the new carpet.

Just had my bedroom floors changed out from carpet to laminate. I chose "Moonshine", which is a light-colored wood laminate that flows nicely,  blending in where it meets the tile floor in the hallway.  The whole process, from estimate to completion of the job, was a pleasure.  Mike and his guys gave me exactly what I wanted: beautiful floors, great price, quick installation, and last but not least, they moved the heavy stuff in and out of the rooms. Was I impressed? You bet!!! Do youself a favor and check them out. I'm confident that they'll deliver the same quality to you too!

After having two in-home estimates from some very rude and unprofessional sales people from other companies, I turned to Yelp to find a company with good reviews. I found Abel flooring and didn't see a single bad review. Turns out it's because the owner, Mike, is very professional and not pushy at all.

Mike took his time to show me all the different samples for both tile and carpet and didn't try to upsell anything. I decided to purchase from this company and was very happy with the installation of carpet and tile. The installers were courteous, fast and professional.

I only had one concern about a small crack in a tile and Mike sent the crew out the very next day to fix it.

I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

I have used Abel carpets twice in the past and was very happy with his professionalism and their work.  With the recent rainstorms, my house had a leak and flooded the carpet in the front room.  The situation was urgent as my tenants were not happy with the situation.   I called Mike and he called the tenants immediately to calm them down.   His recommendation was not to replace the carpet, but just part of the pad and stretch the carpet.   Realize I am out of state and have to go by his recommendation.   Using Mike, you not only get great service at a fair price, but probably more important, you get a VERY honest person.  I will not using anyone else in the Phoenix area.  My wife said can he come to LA to do our house.

We used Abel Carpet Tile and Wood and have only great things to say about them!  We had selected a carpet and hardwood floor from another company and reached out to Mike at Abel for a quote so we could compare it to the other company's quote.  I called Mike on a Sunday afternoon, not expecting to hear from him until Monday.  He not only called me back, but he scheduled a consult for the next morning.  

Mike was prompt for the appointment, got down on his hands and knees to check out the floors and baseboards, took all measurements, answered all questions, and was nothing but courteous, knowledgeable and professional.  We had a professional and detailed quote within a few hours.  Mike's pricing was competitive and we made the decision immediately that we wanted to give him our business, as it was obvious he cares about his customers and doesn't settle for anything less than a great job.

Mike kept us informed while we waited for the materials to come in and he scheduled the installations around our schedules.  His crews were friendly and hard-working, and Mike came out to the house several times during the installation.  In addition, the crews do quality work.  He made sure we were 100% satisfied before asking for our final payment.  Not only were we extremely satisfied with the installation, but when I contacted him a month or so later as I noticed a creaking sound when walking on 2 areas, he immediately scheduled his wood installer to come out for the repairs - no questions asked and no charge.

When our house was built in 1995, we used Baker Bros. to install our carpet. When the day came to install, all of sudden they didn't have enough carpet. As our closing date was approaching, we told them we were going to go with another company. A short time later, they miraculously 'found' more carpeting. After they installed it, I compared it to the sample I had and I absolutely know that they didn't install the same carpet that we chose. It was inferior quality and broke down quickly.

So when it came time to replace my carpeting, I was skeptical of all carpeting installers. I did my research, read all the reviews, crossed my fingers and chose Abel Carpet  in Oct. 2013. I chose wisely!!

Mike did a great job helping me choose the right carpeting and padding. He didn't try to oversell or pressure me into anything I didn't want. After the install, I was amazed that the carpet I chose looked and felt even better than I expected. I was thrilled! Over a year later, I am still in awe. Every time I walk barefoot across it, I want to call Mike and thank him again!  

At the install, we had them run some speaker wire diagonally underneath the carpeting and within a day or two we started to notice the bumps they made. Mike sent one of his guys out immediately and they pulled up all the carpeting in that area and fixed the problem. No problem since and you'd never know they were there.

Mike and his crew were great to work with and I would highly recommend him. He is honest and patient and sells good quality products.

Mike at Abel Carpet, Tile, and Wood came to the rescue in our flooring emergency and came with red lights and sirens!  Less than 2 weeks before my brother and his wife was to arrive from Michigan, settling foundation under a bathroom caused the toilet drain to leak into an adjacent room and we had no idea until it was too late.  I called Mike on a Sunday and told him that I had an extreme flooring emergency and that his previous reviews told me he was the hero I was looking for.  Mike called me back on a Sunday within hours of my call and arrangements were made to carpet two rooms and a hall and tile the room that had been damaged.  I ordered top of the line premium carpet and tile and the entire job was completed within a week and for a total price well below what it would have cost for only the carpet at the manufacturer's suggested retail.  Mike personally came out and showed the samples and personally showed up for each phase of the job to make sure everything was running smoothly and there were no problems.  I have never received such quality personalized service from the owner of any business.  Mike treats the property of his customers as if it were his own.  I will never use another company for my flooring needs.  Abel Carpet, Tile, and Wood is the one for us from now on.

From initial phone call for a free estimate to a really fast completion of a rather large job, Abel was a great company to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We had different subcontractors for tile and laminate, and both teams were friendly, courteous, fast, tidy, and did expert installation. Mike is a very hands-on guy, and was at the house every day to check on quality and progress. A job I thought might take up to two weeks was completed in just five days. Mike came out, showed me carpets that I could use in a rental that were close to my budget (hence the 4 stars) but the price was good considering the complete job.

Mike made sure the carpet was installed on a tight schedule and sent a crew out to R/R the living room and family room, then take the best of the old carpet and fix the hall.

When all was said and done, it was better than I had expected. The installers were very professional and took pride in doing hard, complex repair to the hall. Mike took the time to call the next day and verify the job went as expected.

I will spend the extra money from the big box stores to get a great install, great oversight and follow up.11

Wow!  What an amazing experience.  Mike Fasano, the owner, was very helpful via our initial e-mail communication and then wonderful during our meeting.  He arrived at our home with many carpet samples, answered our questions and was respectful of our need to talk and make our decision in private.  He was at our home in the midst of a stressful situation for us (problems with our contractor) and was so kind and concerned and recommended some ways that we could resolve our issues, even though they had nothing to do with him.  We selected a quality carpet and were really pleased with the price.  It was more than fair, especially considering the level of attention and service we received.  Mike was very thorough in his explanation of the costs, how the installation would work, etc.  We ordered the carpet on a Tuesday and he was able to schedule our install for Saturday morning.  We even called him again on Wednesday after we decided to expand the area we wanted to carpet and he graciously came back to our home within one hour of the call and was able to combine the order so that everything could be installed at the same time on Saturday.  

His installation crew was great.  They showed up on time, the were friendly and efficient and were very careful not to scuff up our freshly painted walls and newly installed baseboards.  Mike followed up with us during and after the installation with courtesy calls to make sure everything was going well and that we were happy.

I would highly recommend that you call Mike anytime you need new carpet!

After having the worst customer service experience at the Queen Creek Home Depot, I found Abel Carpet, Tile, and Wood on Yelp and read all the great reviews.  Still skeptical, I called Mike and set up an in-home estimate.  Mike was very courteous and professional in the phone and set up a date and time that would work for both my husband and me.  I explained to Mike out bad Depot experience and he went out of his way to go to Home Depot to look at the samples we liked so he could bring similar ones to our house.  This was my first wow experiences with Mike.  So when he got to our house for the estimate he already had samples of what we wanted.  We were able to find what we wanted quickly and schedule a install with him on the spot.  He even let us borrow the sample so we could use it to coordinate paint.  Mike was true to his word and followed up with me and had everything installed on the day promised.  The installers were also professional and courteous.  During the installation and after, Mike made sure to follow up and make sure we were happy with everything.  Our new carpet looks beautiful and couldn't be happier with our experience and I would certainly recommend this company and use them again in the future!

Mike Fasano made re-carpeting our master bedroom and closets SO easy! From first meeting, you can tell he is professional, knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I told himwhat I did and didn't want and he brought out the best matches so I could easily decide one one right away. He also had sample swatches of two different grades of the carpet I liked FedEx'd to me right away to help decide. I checked into prices offered by the big stores (Lowe's and Home Depot.) When all the extra charges were added on, like moving the bed, carpet take away and even the padding!, they couldn't match Mike's price. Part of Mike's added appeal was having someone I knew could be reached on the phone IF there was a problem. And the fact that the installers were guys who Mike had worked with for years and years was a plus. With the bigger stores, you get whoever is the sub-of-the-month that you may not see again. Mike cares about what he does and that shows.

Let me start by saying years ago I had spoken with Mike about flooring options but unfortunately I had a very small budget for what I dreamed of doing...Mike gave me a suggestion to do a laminate that would look like the dark wood flooring I had wanted and would be right in line with my budget. They did an awesome job and I am complimented every time someone steps into my home, so easy to keep clean too!! Absolutely professional and extremely thorough from the work they did all the way to clean up (huge perk to see workers clean up after themselves leaving no mess for you behind) Years later here we are... I needed tile & carpet and approached Mike knowing he would shoot straight with me on both time and my budget. He plays an active role to be certain things stay the course between the workers and the customer which is why they are successful. They jumped through hoops for me to get the job done, another AMAZING job, above and beyond guys, thank you!!!

We are a little delayed in writing this review, but feel compelled to let everyone at Abel Carpet know how wonderful the experience was that we had with them.  In late May, we started the process of getting our home ready to sell.  We decided at the last minute to get some quotes to replace the carpet and we came upon Abel Carpet online and were intrigued by the great reviews.  We called them and Mike came right out and met with us.  He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and was "no pressure" (unusual in the sales industry).  The products and pricing were very competitive and Mike was also very accommodating (he even changed his schedule to meet with my husband late one night to ensure that we could meet the tight deadline that we had.  In addition to the front end, the crew that came out (Mike and Mike - and Mike's young son - different than the sales Mike, so we called them the 3 Mikes :) ), was phenomenal!  They were very timely, very professional, courteous, positive attitude and very competent.  They were very conscientious of providing a level of professionalism and customer service that I have not seen in a LONG time.  The job took two days and Mike (salesman) even stopped by the first day to see how things were going and make sure that we were satisfied with the work to that point.  Overall, we cannot express how happy we were with their service and products.  We would use them again in a heartbeat and would recommend this business to anyone who is in the market for flooring.  Thanks again to all those employees at Abel who made this a wonderful experience.

After looking online for a company to install carpet at my Mom's house, I found Abel Carpet. I had searched several companies, including the local home depot and lowes. I wasn't sure I would get top notch service with a large retailer such as that. So, I chose Abel Carpet to do the job. Mike was very professional and knowledgable.
