Reviews
Courteous and competent. Very happy with the service provided, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
I called for someone to come take a look at some water that was in my basement. It had leaked under the wall between the boiler room and the office next door. The guy that came was very nice, but his initial assessment was that the water was coming from the other side of the wall and he wanted to see what was back there. I knew this was impossible since there are no pipes in that office, so I thanked him for his time we had a nice chat on his way out. A few weeks later, the water softener died and poured water all over and back under the wall again. This was the culprit and my take on the plumber's inspection was correct.
Some weeks later, the accountant from the company called and insisted on payment. I was very annoyed because absolutely no value was added during the visit. I did pay the balance because I understand that receiving a professional to your home on a service call does have an accepted base-rate or fee. I explained to the accountant however that this was bad form and would guarantee that I'd never be interested in calling again. I too work in the service industry as an onsite IT person (since '97) and I know full well when I've made a visit that shouldn't be billed. And my rates and relevance are exactly the same. I'm writing this both to make sure the marketing team over there have a talk with the accountant, and to point out to the owner of Quick Fix that I spent $18,000 on the replacement boiler and water heater.
Pissing off customers over $75 really can be expensive.
I should have checked his work before he left. He was less than reliable, thorough or trustworthy. When he arrived he asked what I needed done today? I said the the upstairs bathroom overflow tube and leaking valves for outdoor spigots. I also asked if he had time to check out 2 outdoor spigots because their separate from the leaking valves in basement. He said yes to adding the outdoor spigots and started with the basement valves then spigots. He had to make a part run for a spigot which required more time than he allotted for the tasks. As he was leaving I asked if he already finished the bathroom, he said I don't have that on my work order that's why he was there and he lied about it!. I mentioned he was here for the tub because I need it fixed before tenants move in.
It's okay to make a mistake but not cover it with a lie.
A few days later I went to use the spigot and noticed immediately the ground was saturated because it was still leaking. I then went to the other spigot he replaced and when I opened the valve I noticed he didn't secured it to my house, so every time I use that loose spigot I'm reminded of his poor quality work. Someone else showed up 10 days later to fix my priority tub problem and he corrected the spigot.
Check out my review of the next project Quick fix attempted. I'll post a youtube video of what I had to do to fix it.
I got these services via my home warranty company. The previous plumber assigned sat here for 45 minutes, accomplished nothing and recommended a new garbage disposal. Tyson was friendly, professional and fixed the garbage disposal in the time it took me to turn around. He didn't have the part for the broken faucet but he went to the hardware store and returned within 15 minutes. He did an excellent job and I highly recommend this company. If I have any problems I will request not only quick fix but Tyson.
Had a new shut off valve cut and put in in less than 10 min. Great price, execution, and customer service. Highly recommend!
Wonderful workmanship and customer service! TJ saved the day, repairing a burst pipe and took the time to diagnose our actual problem so it won't happen again!
