If Yelp.com permitted me to award a 10-star rating, I would award Sound Rooter & Plumbing (Sound Plumbing) with 10-stars. We had a water pipe burst in our bathroom, after normal business hours for most plumbers. I called Sound Plumbing at approximately 6:15pm and spoke with Chrystal: by 6:30pm we had received a budget and commitment for a NLT 7:30pm plumber show time. At 7:00pm Zach arrived and when I arrived at his vehicle, Zach, a broad smile on his face, introduced himself and held out his hand to shake my hand ... I immediately thought 'this company cares about their customers!' Zach completed the repair(s), despite my many questions throughout the process, in less than an hour; just before leaving, Zach again held out his hand to shake mine and again thanked me for the opportunity to provide his expertise and services.

Plumbing it's such a difficult thing to hire for. I feel like every time its a dice roll. They were nice enough and were one of the few companies that would give me an estimate on the phone. Some won't even ballpark you. Told them we're selling out house and had some pretty severe root intrusion and had a video I could send from the inspector. They said it wasn't necessary but that they could take care of it. They were on time, but only have a hydro jet which couldn't take care of the problem. Wish I would have known that before I hired them. Had someone else come out with an actual rooter, and multiple sizes of rooters to get the job done. So for bigger jobs this is not your guy he doesn't seem to own the necessary equipment. Still have to pay the $500 invoice. And received 3 emails about it in 1 week. So they're sure to get paid, but not get your job done.

We had a pipe leak under our sink. I requested a quote with yelp and Marcus got back to me very quickly asking for a picture of the problem. He quoted the repair quickly and we scheduled an appointment for the following morning. He was on time, quick, explained what he was doing, AND the final price matched the quote. Can't ask for more!

We had Sound Roosters and Plumbing come in this morning to unclog our kitchen sink. When we called to make the appointment they said it would only cost $225 for the unclogging. When they came the plumber said the main connector had been cut off, he said he had to put in a new plumbing part to connect it to the unclogged one which connects to an additional pipe which connects to the sink. We are in the middle of a full kitchen renovation and the only thing we asked for was the unclogging. Without my authorization, he added a pipe, which turns out that it hadn't been cut off but disconnected, without telling us how much it would cost and some lady came in with the invoice and charged us $454.56 for 10 minutes of work. I wish I could give a minus rating for their business and bad local business practice.

Excellent service!! After receiving multiple no-show, no responses from other local companies to help me fix a front yard water line leak, Marcus and his wonderful wife responded immediately and were at my home in less than 2 hours. From start to finish, these hardworking folks found my leak and repaired it! They even put our lawn back clean and neat. I highly recommend this company. Thanks so much!

Sound Rooter & Plumbing is excellent to work with. We have used them twice now. In 2018, they installed two natural gas fittings, one for a new gas range, and one for an outdoor gas grill. They walked us through how to bleed the new lines. The two appliances still work flawlessly.

We hired them again to fix a backed up main pipe from the house, and we are glad we did! Marcus and Chrystal are very easy to work with and accommodated our busy schedule. After a 5pm phone call, they came out the next morning and had the backup fixed in less than 30 minutes. The price was very competitive with other companies. They advised not getting the camera inspection (an extra fee) unless there were problems clearing the clog or if we've had clog issues before. They even gave us some info on the system that was used years before we purchased our home to convert the house from septic to sewer.

I highly recommend them, and will work with them again in the future!

Crystal and Marcus were a pleasure to work with. I called in the afternoon and they were able to come out the same day to unclog the line. They were friendly, clear communicators and fast at getting the job done. They made a stressful thing waaaaaay better.
I would highly recommend their business. We will be calling them again if we have other plumbing issues.

A recommended review of Sound Rooter & Plumbing included a photograph of a problem that could have been a twin of our problem -- water pouring up from the grass and cascading down the sidewalk.  So we called SR&P first and they said they could come the next afternoon and Chrystal and Marcus were right on time.  They found a leaking connection in the supply pipe leading to the house from the water meter, so it was our problem, as the City of Olympia had said.  SR&P fixed the leak and also capped off an old sprinkler system that we'd never used and which lacked a required backflow prevention device.  Check the water consumption on your utility bill -- if it suddenly seems to spike, you may have an invisible leak that eventually will get worse and costly.  Call SR&P!

Kitchen sink clogged up Saturday night. Sunday I tried (unsuccessfully) to clear it. Made arrangements via Yelp for a Monday morning service. Communication was smooth including them touching base over being ever so slightly late. Thankfully it was an easy fix. Time wasn't wasted at all. Marcus took great care of keeping the floors clean on his way in & out as well as while he worked. He also made small suggestions on how to slow pipe build up while he worked. I believe these guys care about what they're doing and want to do not only a good job but provide good customer service.

I'm feeling SERIOUSLY grateful to Sound Rooter & Plumbing.  I was feeling very frustrated after making many calls to different plumbing companies.  Sound Rooter & Plumbing was the only company to respond to our emergency. Chrystal asked a few questions over text, diagnosed the issue, then promptly arrived the next day & fixed the problem.  They couldn't have been any more professional, friendly or efficient.  I'll recommend them any chance I get.  THANK YOU Sound Rooter & Plumbing.

Marcus Turner was awesome! I called around to a bunch of plumbers and Marcus answered my request immediately. He came out, to my house, on the same day just 1 hour after I contacted him. He was very kind, courteous, and very helpful. He also offered to return if the problem occurs again for free. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We had a massive leak in our sewer line right next to our grinder. After several days and having 7 different companies come out (getting turned down or them being unable to find the source), Sound Rooter & Plumbing returned my call immediately. They headed over and KNEW EXACTLY where to look, dig and diagnose the problem. ( I had scheduled another company that was going to charge a fortune just to try to FIND the leak the next day!) I told them they got the job. They came and had it fixed better than ever, with a few extra preventative measures on top. They cleaned up everything and were extremely polite and professional!

Excellent communication and extremely efficient service. Called 15 plumbers and they were the first to be able to address our urgent issue (toilet macerator). Very good price upon negotiation. Will definitely keep in mind for next time.

Marcus and Crystal were so great to work with! I discovered a possible leak in my garage one morning, and I called around to a few other plumbing services before finding them. Everyone else was booked a few weeks out, so when I finally found these two, they were ready to roll out and come by the same day! Life savers for sure.

He didn't try to upsell his service to me, and was all about finding the best, most cost-effective solution to my problem--definitely not trying to make the most money out of this visit (which I was worried about).

Woke up this morning and realized we had water in both bathrooms and our master bedroom. Panicked, I reached out for 5 quotes from plumbers in the area. Sound Rooter & Plumbing was not only one of the only ones that offered a free estimate but they were extremely fast to respond. They were at our home within two hours and got our issue resolved within an hour and a half. They were SO nice and incredibly helpful. They found that our septic drain was clogged. Once it was cleared, we were going to accept an extra charge to have a camera go down to make sure it had been fully fixed and when the camera couldn't go down for one reason or another (I think it was the angle of our piping) they didn't charge us.  They were very upfront about pricing and we could tell that they weren't out to take all us for as much as they could, which is rare in this type of service. I greatly appreciated the service and such a prompt response. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing problems!

WOW! I was in a panic when I had sewer waste leaking out of my toilet in my master bathroom! I called around everywhere but at 7 PM thanksgiving day people were either trying to triple charge me or no one would answer. To my astonishment Sound Rooter & Plumbing picked up my call! They were SO polite and had extensive knowledge of how to problem solve even just over the phone. They arrived at my house promptly and began working. They were able to fix my blown sewage pipe and replace it all in one visit! They're customer service is unmatchable. This husband and wife duo are truly masters in their craft which such a personable attitude! All my plumbing needs were not only met but exceeded by them! We called about having a few fittings swap out with a different kind this was our priority the hot water tank wasn't important at the time. We had drywall going in which the fittings needed to be swapped out and the water lines hooked up. They explained they wouldn't come out to Hoodsport only to swap out a few fittings if they were installing a new hot water tank they would. Which we actually needed one of those installed as well so we went ahead and agreed to them coming out. They spent a total of about one hour and half onsite. They proceeded to install the hot water tank and then told me that they might have to come back to replace the fittings. I was irritated because I made it clear that wasn't important at the time what was important is getting the water lines hooked up. Only after making a big deal about it did they go ahead and swap out fittings and hook the hot water tank up. Yes, we agreed on a price over the phone because that's what we assumed that it would cost anywhere that you went. But. it wasn't until after looking at the invoice and calling other places did we realize that we were ripped off and taken advantage of because of our time crunch. We were charged $2500.00 to have 1 hot water tank and 4 fittings swapped out which was $60.00 and took him 10 minutes. We were charged $1200.00 for purchase, deliver, and install hot water tank and then on another line we were charged an additional $800.00 for what it says is new hot water tank, and $175.00 for parts to install, another $50 for which it says install kit. I do not recommend them at all.

Hired them to fix or replace my outside faucet. Arrived on time, stayed pretty close to his quote and fixed everything quickly at a very fair price. Highly recommend.

Marcus was efficient and quick at getting our bathroom remodel up and running again. We had an awful stoppage, and Marcus was great at not giving us the run around, and fixing the problem quickly! Thanks again.

Friendly, prompt, and attentive to the details - I was very pleased with their service and would definitely call them again. Highly recommend!
