ProMax Water Heaters & Plumbing

ProMax did a wonderful job fixing my water heater. I called them after having a bad experience with another company that couldn't figure out what was wrong with my water heater and told me I needed to replace it ($6k). I would highly recommend them - very experienced, professional and great to work with.

I contacted ProMax on a Sunday, via their web site, and explained that I had a broken water heater and was looking for a company that could replace it within a day or two. I was surprised to hear back within hours, and not simply from a scripted 'customer service agent' that was telling me someone would be in touch soon! This was a real person that actually performs the real work, asking for photos of the space and the water and electrical connections and asking about parking!! After some back and forth with those details I was provided an estimate and once I'd agreed to that I was put on the schedule for the following day. Two young gentlemen arrived on time and got right to work, dealing with the complexities and showing professionalism and friendliness and respect for the property. They worked efficiently and cleaned up well. One item that could be improved is their ability take payment - I needed my check book, which is unusual - but they explained that they had just adopted a new payment system and were working on electronic payment capability. I would definitely call them again.

Evan and his assistant Owen are prompt, efficient, considerate -- in other words, top-notch at replacing water heaters.  Cost-effective as well.  I highly recommend ProMax for water heater replacement.

Evan + team killed it on my tankless hot water heater install--I was super impressed that he was super patient and willing to work with me, a total n00b at hot water heaters, on placement, long term remodelling project considerations, and also venting options. Got me on the schedule in a timely fashion to accomodate my impending chimney removal work, and was simply a delight! Loving our infinite hot water and freed up a ton of space in our home. Also, by fair the most reasonable estimate/total cost for the job compared to other companies in the area (I got several quotes and did.... way too much research, let me tell you.)

When you think of getting a water heater replaced for the first time it can be an overwhelming ordeal. However, I just had an A+ experience with Evan N. from ProMax Water Heating & Plumbing. I called on Monday morning at 7:30am about a leaky tank that needed to be replaced and he had a written estimate to us by 10am! Not only that, but he was able to get to our condo the next morning.

He was extremely professional, open, honest, and took pride in his work. I would definitely recommend Evan and his business for your water heater needs. Will definitely be recommending him to family and friends!

This is the second job Evan has done for us.  He is punctual, clean, fair and professional.  We needed a new kitchen sink to get connected and the old pipe layout was a mess.  He came in, saw what was needed and proceeded to give us a very clean and organized layout.  He is an extremely nice man who is very easy to work with.  He told us he would be out of town over the weekend but would try for Monday or Tuesday to help us out.  Our sink did not end up getting installed until Monday afternoon.  Evan showed up Tuesday morning and got right to work.  It is so nice to have a working kitchen sink again!  Thank you Evan.

Evan at ProMax was the only one to get back with a written quote to replace our failing water heater, and he was able to make time the very next day! Even when our closet installation proved a bit more challenging than expected, he tracked down the necessary equipment and still finished in a timely fashion. His work is clean and tidy, and it's nice to know we wont be having any water heater issues in the foreseeable future! Plus he was incredibly nice and respectful of our space. Thanks, Evan!

I had a really great experience! My water heater broke and was leaking over the weekend, I called a bunch of places and most were closed for the weekend. Evan answered and came right out the same day to take a look, and was able to get us taken care of shortly thereafter. He took care of installing a tankless water heater, hooking up the electric and the gas lines as well as drilling exhaust ports to the outside of the house and patching/waterproofing everything. Truly a one stop shop! The work is super clean and he was very nice and helpful and made sure we understood everything. I would definitely recommend his services!

Had a great experience working with Evan to get our hot water heater replaced. He was very responsive over email while getting our quote and scheduling the work. Our hot water heater is in a very awkward spot in our laundry room, but he somehow maneuvered it out and got the new one in place. We're really happy with the new tank and the new water shutoffs he installed for it in so that we can conveniently reach them. We also had him replace our old non-functional water shutoffs for the laundry machine, and those look and work great as well. Highly recommend!
