I can't express how great our experience was with Mike's.
After many calls Mike's, after reviewing many logs , was the only highly rated plumber that not only responded promptly but could meet our needs of immediate and urgent need. Backed up sewer line into the bathroom. Ugly!
Mike's diagnosed the problem, that in itself was challenging.
They had to dig up the line in our back yard, replace broken pipe and replace with new PVC. Not to mention replacing a new flange under the toilet.
For the scope of work that needed to be done I believe the quote was very reasonable.
I applaud both Dakota and Justin for their hard work. No wasted time.
If you are in need call Mike's. Communication with Kaitlan in the office could not have been better.

Well, TRIED to hire this company to fix a slow-draining kitchen sink, but they took so much time getting information, emails and having me take pictures of my sink to send, that I ended up hiring someone else! After two days, they hadn't gotten back to me and I called again, and they wanted me to take MORE pictures and send in before they would give me even an approximate estimate.

In the meantime, I called another company, who came the same day, IN PERSON, gave me an estimate and fixed the problem in less than an hour. THAT is good customer service. Sometimes the old-fashioned ways to get work done are the best. Before Mike's would even give me an estimate, I had to make three phone calls, send several emails and take pictures on my phone and send them, and they still didn't get back to me before the other company had already finished the job.

They probably don't care, but I think their customer service policies could use some polishing up. I've never spent so much time and energy to get a simple estimate for a household job. I think their process for giving estimates is NOT customer friendly, at ALL. Like I said, I tried to hire them, but it's pretty much like they didn't want or care about my business. I know it wasn't a big job, but another company got the $$ because Mike's pretty much put out NO effort to help me solve the issue quickly. Sorry Mike. Had to hire someone else that wanted the business!! Maybe you should re-evaluate your process for new customers....just sayin'.

I called Mike's yesterday at 2pm about coming out to repair my supply line which had sprung a leak and by 5pm I had a quote. By 3pm today the crew had come and gone and the repair was completed. Crew was curious and professional, the left the site as clean as they found it and the repairs looks like a quality job. Rates were fair for the market, quality of work, and the work completed. Totally satisfied with Mike and his folks and would recommend them to others...

Very positive experience with Mike's Plumbing, specifically the people answering calls and scheduling service as well as the plumbers! Ended up in a timing pinch plus the PM coordinating the job cancelled the service day of and Mike's was still able to get me scheduled back in before the end of the same day. Always appreciate someone coming through for you when you need it and in this case they were willing to get me scheduled twice in the same day. Very pleasant to work with!

I recently had a whole-house generator installed by an electrical contractor. They had a sub-contractor do the gas piping for the project.

The job involved running gas piping through the crawl space, penetrating out through the wall of the house, dropping down into a pre-dug 2ft trench that went out around behind the generator, then coming up and connecting into the back of generator.

When the sub-contractor Technician finished the job and left, I had numerous issues with what he had done. The plumbing sub-contractor agreed to have someone come out and fix everything, only they sent out the same Technician who had created all the problems in the first place ie the same guy who thought he had done it right the first time. On his second visit he made the original problems worse, and added to them. At this point, I fired the plumbing subcontractor, and on my own hired Mike's Plumbing to completely re-do the entire trench portion of the job.

I have used Mike's Plumbing numerous times in the past for remodels of a laundry room and 2 bathrooms, as well as a repair of my sewer line. I have always been happy with their work, and everyone has always been very professional, competent and thorough. This job was a bit trickier in that they had to tie-in to a portion, and then re-do a portion, of another plumber's poor quality work. And yet they were entirely professional the entire time, and there was no bad-mouthing of the other company (except by me.) Also, while in the crawl space they discovered my toilet was leaking, creating a lake on the moisture barrier plastic. This is something the other plumber would also have to have seen, but Mike brought it to my attention, and went ahead and fixed the problem.

I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning.

I used Mike's Plumbing in 2015 to locate and replace a very odd-sized water heater tucked into a wall cavity. Mike went the extra mile that time so I knew I'd use him in the future if I needed to.

Fast-forward to this week and a tub faucet leak with old fixtures and one call was all I was going to make. Mike's Plumbing gave me a noon-4 pm window, arrived at 2 and it was replaced with new valves and fixtures in no time.

I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing. Our kitchen faucet developed a persistent leak and I contacted three local plumbing companies. One failed to respond at all. One responded after two weeks saying they charged $200 for an estimate, and that fee would be added to the repair cost. Mike's Plumbing, however, responded immediately and provided an estimate after I sent a detailed description and photos. They then provided the requested service within a few days of my request--replacing the faucet exactly as described in their estimate. Their workers were quick, clean, and courteous.

Another Happy Ending

I want to begin by saying this story has a very happy ending. After washing dishes one evening I was standing at the sink waiting for the water to go down the drain. I waited, and waited - about 10 minutes or so - and nothing happened. I heated a pan of water to a boil on the stove and poured it into the sink - and that did not work - not even after 3-4 tries. I was wondering what to do next when I remembered the last time I had a problem with a sink several years ago I had called Mike's Plumbing and the fellow who came out fixed it right away. So I called Mike's Plumbing again. A team of highly trained plumbers came out - this time my problem was serious. But here's the good news part of the story - after about 2 hours the team had completed the job. Thanks to David, Manny and Sergio and the rest of the team at Mike's my problem was solved!

So I started my day with a clog when the shower wouldn't drain and my toilet was gurgling. After looking around a little bit I found out there was a clog somewhere in my sewer line outside of the house. Was less than ideal as I couldn't really run any water, use the bathroom, etc.

I called Mike's plumbing and they had a pair of guys out within 2 hours. They were both polite and wasted no time. They went to work, scoped my pipe, and cleared out the roots that were clogging the line and had everything back in working order in less than an hour.

I have some history working with Mike's Plumbing and the building I live in back since 2017. During some crazy snow storm where our sump pump failed, Mike's was able to come out quickly and charged us a fair rate. They have always gone the extra mile in helping out any plumbing emergency. Recently, I had an issue that was very difficult to figure out and the owner even called me in making sure it was going to be resolved. The prices are super fair and the service has been very friendly.

I'm usually a DIY'er and rarely find myself needing a plumber. But this past month I needed help repairing a leak in the water line between my water meter and the house. The line was deep and the weather forecast was both wet and cold.

My initial contact with the front office was positive. The foreman came out to look over my job when they said he would arrive, and then offered several options, from repair to a complete replacement. Other contractors only offered a complete replacement, and seemed more enamored with the opportunity to utilize their horizontal drilling equipment or make a huge mess than delivering value to the customer. Needless to say, the bid from one of these other contractor's (they also advertise extensively on TV) left me Freakin'.

I chose Mike's instead; YOU SHOULD TOO! Mike's team came, dug up the leaky area of the water line and fixed my problems in less than one day. Their final invoice was on the low end of their estimate.

I couldn't be more appreciative of the value they provided, their competence timeliness, and honesty. The front office was also very efficient. It's nice to work with a company who provides this level of service and demonstrates this type of consideration for their customers. I highly recommend them over the competition.

RIP-OFF.. STAY AWAY...

I called them to unclog my toilet. Guy tried auger and immediately said needs to be removed and flushed:-( Charged for remove, flush repair and within couple of weeks toilet went back to slow drain. I called them assuming warrantee will cover it. Was told be warrantee is 7 days only:-( When I complained you did not tell me about 7 days,, they asked me for the picture. Then response comes, The toilet you have is at least 20 years old and has the smaller trap at 1-7/8. Replacement would be best. I asked why didn't you tell me that first time. Response It wouldn't have been possible to have had the toilet replaced on the first visit as we don't carry toilets on the trucks. Seriously?

Cleared line connecting kitchen and utility sink. They were responsive to afternoon request and showed up in the time frame provided. Provided quote (reasonable) before scheduling work. They didn't try any upsale and cost was at quoted price. I would use them again.

Manny and Jake did a wonderful job with all the plumbing for my kitchen remodel. They were really detailed and thorough, and explained to me what they needed to do to make sure I was ok with where they were putting the new pipes. Kami was my customer care representative before they came out to do the work; she was so thorough and asked a ton of questions, so I felt like they had all the information they would need to do the work. I would definitely recommend Mike's Plumbing, and I will call them if I need any more work done in the future!

I hate to update this review with such low stars and doesn't really have anything to do with quality of work, but customer service related rather. I have continuous and sudden leaking/flooding throughout my house (so pretty urgent situations) and the process of waiting for an email, then me attaching photos, and waiting for another email to see if Mike's is even interested, then if they are waiting another couple weeks to hear when someone will make the time to see what's going on, is unacceptable. Clearly prioritization of most expensive issues is occurring , and no empathy or care of the customer and needing someone in an urgent or more timely fashion is a thought.

Passing on Mike for any future use unfortunately. If you can't make time for your customers, I don't have time for you.

they came out, couldn't find source of sewer clog and charged $300 for use of their cameras. The neighbors used Fischer Plumbing who found the source of the clog and repaired it. Since we share a sewer line? Mine was repaired thanks to Fischer. Mikes plumbing called afterwards saying they wanted to help but there was nothing left to do. I asked for a refund since they didn't fix the problem and They said they'd look into it but now they don't respond or follow up with me. They've cashed my check so i guess that's it.

I had a mystery leak and water was coming through the ceiling in the basement. I called Mikes Plumbing and they promptly came out and solved the problem for half the price of the original estimate. The team with Mike's Plumbing was fantastic. After getting a bid of $14k (from Ally Plumbing) to fix a clogged sewer main on my brand new home, I decided to try calling up Mike's Plumbing since they had been out to work on the drain in the months before my wife and I moved in. Well! These guys did a comprehensive job. The guy I had out from Ally did not scope the line and did not even try to check any of the clean outs to see what our issue might be, he was just ready to dig up our backyard and replace the entire line.

The guys from Mike's came out and did a careful job inspecting the entire sewer main only to find that the whole things WAS FINE. Turns out the issue was just a clog right past downstairs shower that they were able to get with a 25ft snake. Saved me ~$13,800. Thanks to Cody and everyone else that came out!

We had a clogged drain with our downspout backing up with sewage. We first called up a different company that quoted us a $4k estimate to fix the issue. I was recommended Mike's Plumbing by a friend for a second opinion. They were able to schedule an appointment for me the next day. Cody, Torey and Andrew arrived and quickly determined the issue and resolved it within an hour. They took their shoes their off when they came in my house and were so polite and friendly! They also determined the main cause of the clog and had suggested fixes to improve our plumbing for the long term. Not only that, they did this all for only a few hundred bucks!

This is a good company to work with. I had a 4in perma-liner installed from house to main with a new cleanout installed near house.

Pro's:

1. The whole experience working with everyone was smooth, quick and professional (from initial contact on Yelp, Office via email, Sales - Lead / Estimator, Specialist crews, and Office again).
2. Bid was lower than others, but not the lowest I could have attained. This hit that sweet spot for warranty and fairness in price, plus I want a company to be around in case that warranty is needed.
3. Work done quickly.
4. Yard repair after completion looked great.
5. Quick contact by office for warranty, permits, billing and documentation was excellent.

Con's: not many

1. Clean out was suppose to be by the house (or in their words as close to the house as possible) and was closer to the middle of the yard (this was a hand shake, I should have obtained this in writing). I'll probably buy some turf to cover and hopefully prevent my 5 & 6 year old from tripping on this small hole.
2. No survey or follow up on their work, could help the company understand / measure employee performance - example, avoid issue number 1 above.

In all, I would give them 4 out of 5 and use them again.

Had a leaky exterior garden faucet after it froze over the winter. Apparently some water was inside the water line and froze, busting the pipe. Reached out for a quick quote and Mike's was quick to get back to me. They asked some good clarifying questions to have a better idea of what the problem was. They gave a competitive quote and was able to come out fairly quickly.

The crew that came out was very friendly and made quick work of the faucet and pipe replacement. They replaced the faucet with a frost free faucet so this won't happen again. Would recommend Mike's Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing help!

I wish there were more than 5 stars for this review! The first time we used Mike was to get a second opinion about an issue in our mother-in-law apt. Another plumber told us we had to rip out the kitchen to resolve the issue. Mike agreed but he came up with a solution that allows us to use the kitchen and be in no hurry to rip things out.

The second time we had two minor issues. Two plumbers from Mike's came out early the next morning before their 9:00 a.m. job already scheduled. One of the two resolved his issue early and while waiting for the second one to finish he brought in wood for our wood stove.

Most recently we had a pipe burst during the cold spell. It was in a very tight crawl space. Mike's son came to do the repair and instead of telling us we had to rip open a wall he managed to fix it in that very small space.

They really care about and always work towards the best solution for their customers. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had a broken drain. The plumber was very unhappy that I had continued to use my kitchen sink. Only sink I have besides the bathroom. I called two weeks ago, what do you want me to do? The repair has been fine. He left the gate open to the yard, my dog got out. I found her at 11:30 pm that night. Then he threw a pile of dirty clothes in my trash. So no worries, I'll pay for that too. In his defense, my wife did forget he was working on the plumbing and turned the water on for about 3 seconds before I told her to turn it off. He followed that with about a minute of smashing on the subfloor like we dumped lava on him. But, the sink works. Just not the guys attitude.

A+ for Mike's Plumbing, and Abbas in particular.

I reached out to a few vendors on Yelp, describing the issue I was seeing. Mike's was the only vendor to ask a few follow up questions, and offered the possibility of a less expensive alternative.

Abbas came to our home (on time! wearing mask and gloves! removed shoes!) to do an assessment, and gave clear explanations, review of options and pros/cons.

The actual fix we needed required additional time, so I reached out to the office to get a formal quote and schedule an additional time.

Day of the appointment, the office called an hour before the appointment window to ask if the technician could come early. It worked with my schedule, so that was great. We had Abbas show up on time, which helped with the continuity, as he already knew what he was working with. He fixed our issue, using less time and materials than the original quote, so our final bill was less than quoted.

Did they fix the problem? Yes! Faster and cheaper than expected? Yes! Two thumbs up.

We contracted Mike's to have a PRV replaced one our crawl space. They were able to not only replace it, but move the PRV valve and the main shut-off inside the house for a very reasonable fee.

The technicians were very knowledgeable, answered questions with patience, and presented us options for the repair.

I emailed several plumbers with a description of an issue with my hot water tank. The others all said they would come out, look at it, and provide me an estimate.

Mike's, on the other hand, responded to my email with a brief explanation of what the problem was most likely and, since it was likely to be quite simple, suggested that I take a look at it myself and call if that didn't fix the issue.

Already, I was impressed. Unfortunately, their suggested fix didn't resolve the issue, so I then called.

I explained to the person who answered the phone who I was, and she was already aware of the email I'd sent, and said that one of the plumbers would talk to me, and she got him on the phone.

After I explained the issue again, he suggested how to fix it in a little more detail and again suggested that I take a look at it myself.

At this point, I was able to resolve the issue on my own!

I didn't actually hire or pay Mike's to do any work, but after how they handled this situation, I have huge trust in their honesty and customer service.

When I do have an issue that requires a plumber to come out, I will call Mike's without any hesitation. I have much appreciation for how they helped me resolve this issue on my own.

I've had Mike's Plumbing come over to fix a multitude of things this past year and they have been a pleasure to work with. They replaced the inner components of two aging toilets in my home, replaced the water heater, and replaced the water pressure regulator that was acting up. They are responsive, on time, and very respectful. They guarantee their work and will come back at no charge if something is off to make sure things are working as they should. My neighbor and I share a common sewer pipe. It needed to be cleaned out and we agreed to split the cost. As long as they were coming out I asked them to clean out the line on my property to the common sewer pipe as well as fix a leaky toilet. They agreed. Two guys came out, Tory and Cody. They were very nice and very efficient! As it turns out, my line was clear so nothing was done. The toilet was more complicated, but I don't like that toilet anyway, so I agreed to get a new one and call them to install at a later date. They were on time, explained things, they knew what they were doing, they were nice and polite people. I don't need a plumber every day-thank goodness-but when I do it's nice to have these guys to call!!!

We had issues with water pressure and were in need of a new water heater. Walking through the process with Kami on the phone was easy and informative. She was delightful. They arrived at the proper time, my husband was here when the gentleman came to do the work and he said everything was great while he was here. Our pressure problems are fixed and we're happy with all the work he did. The price was reasonable, and we will certainly use Mike's Plumbing again for any other plumbing needs. I recently hired Mike's plumbing to fix a pipe under my kitchen sink. They were very helpful on the phone and had me text some pictures of the problem. They went over a few scenarios and gave me quotes for each situation.

Miguel arrived at my house, assessed the problem and fixed my pipes under two hours and even saved me cash. Miguel was very professional and got the job done well! I can't thank Miguel and Mike's plumbing enough.

Mike's Plumbing is excellent I recommend them completely. When I called requesting a quote Tammy and Sandra were knowledgeable, courteous and very capable. Tore and Robell were dispatched to diagnose and replace an ejector pump at my home, which they did exactly as they outlined to me. You cannot make a mistake if you hire Mike's for your plumbing needs. I've used other Big Advertising companies in the past and been charged 3x's Mike's fair and honest rates. Mike's is a very reliable and capable company.

I chose Mike's Plumbing because they had a high star rating and many positive reviews in Yelp. During this time when contractors are extremely overloaded with work, Mike's contacted me within hours of my inquiry. I sent them photos and they sent back a bid within hours. I scheduled the work for my water connections, but a few days before the appointment I decided I wanted a bigger job done to include my gas lines. Again, the scheduler asked for a photo of the new work area, and again, within only hours had an updated bid in my inbox. I liked the bid and within hours I had a new, longer appointment date set up to do all the work in one trip.
When the new date finally came, Hayden came to the house exactly on time. He was friendly, clean, masked up, and took off his shoes before entering even though I didn't require him to. He worked quickly, competently and clean. He answered my questions about the house's aging plumbing and left me feeling well taken care of. The cost was competitive and the work was 100% done right. I have great confidence in this company and have officially put them on my speed dial. They will be my first choice for any future plumbing needs.

Overall experience was great. Started with online quote request via Yelp, they replied rapidly. Contacted them over the phone and set up an appointment two days later. They called ahead, showed up on time with tools in hand ready to go. Kif was great, really nice, wore a mask and shoe covers. Worked rapidly and cleaned out my kitchen drain with 50 foot snake. I had a perfect experience with Mike's plumbing, from their quick and sufficient correspondence, to their scheduling (even fitting me in earlier to be seen,) to the on time sufficient plumber ( I believe his name was John) who successfully completed installing the pipes for my new kitchen sink/garbage disposal. I strongly recommend Mikes plumbing if you want a seamless successful plumbing experience!! I'll give an update if anything fails but so far so good!!

We had a water pipe leak and Mike's Plumbing was referred to us. We shared our photos and they quickly give us an estimated quote pending site visit. They referred a leak detection company which is equally proficient. On the same day, Mike's Plumbing sent their staff to check out the leak and give a more accurate quote. They explained the job that needs to be done and promptly came out the next day. Then, they called the city after the repair is done to request for inspection. After confirming that the city personnel has approved the work, their people are back again to cover their work. After waiting for the gravel to set in, they come back one more time to do the cold patch. What started as a stressful event became a great learning experience for us. Their staff are all friendly, customer-focused, great in scheduling and clear in explaining the process. Their quote was also lower than another competitor. Definitely recommend this great business.

We had an issue with our garbage disposal and Abbas was helpful in helping me get the item dislodged, even though it didn't necessarily require a plumber once he was able to assess the situation. Called earlier that morning and they were able to show up within a couple hours! Great service.

OK. So I'll say up front that I've never actually hired Mike's Plumbing. But, here's why I'm writing this review.

I installed a new toilet in our home (it's not that hard. . . really). About a week later we started to experience, um, sewer gas odor in the bathroom. Ick. Yes. Not pleasant.

I cleaned the bathroom. Smell still there.

It obviously wasn't the new toilet, as I'd installed it days earlier, and the smell only made itself known after about 5 days.

Ah, the tub drain! That had to be the issue. But, not something I knew how to handle, especially as the tub was on slab on our lower level.

I called Mikes to have someone come out and the woman on the phone put Mike on after I explained the situation. Mike very rationally (and nicely) told me that the odds were excellent that I'd messed up the toilet install -- even though the smell didn't start for days.

You know what? He was right! I doubled up on the wax ring and, voila! Odor gone!

Thanks, Mike! We'll be calling again when / if we need a plumber!

We bought an old house a few months ago and have been working with the folks at Mike's to get our plumbing into good shape. They've done some big and little jobs for us -- installing a PRV and expansion tank, adding supports for the pipes in our crawlspace, replacing and repairing faucets. The plumbers we've worked with have been so great (we especially like working with Steve!), and the schedulers who pick up calls and emails are communicative and easy to work with. The bonus is that Mike's Plumbing is consistently lower priced than other plumbers in the area and their estimates have been reliably accurate.

We feel really lucky to have found such a great plumbing company to work with and will always call Mike's first when we have a plumbing need in the future. Highly recommended!

I have used Mike's Plumbing before and was really happy.

I called them today for a kitchen sink that would only slowly drain. We tried a bunch of things to fix it on our own but none worked! They came out that same day and fixed the issue! MJ & Cody came - happy, nice, friendly, informative and clean guys! They fixed the problem right away and even found another water issue I had and fixed that also! I am SO impressed and satisfied and I didn't think they overcharged me at all!

This company is the only company I will use moving forward and will recommend them to friends and family!!

Cody, of Mike's Plumbing and Drain did a great job explaining my options, supporting my decision making process, and overseeing the replacement/lining of most of my sewer line. The work was done efficiently, competently, and left as cleanly as possible. When unexpected difficulties arose with my 1929 pipe( ie. a y to nowhere) the team handled it without costing me exorbitant amounts of money. I highly recommend Mike's Sewer and Drain.

I have been using Mikes Plumbing for about 5 years now. They have worked on all 3 of my bathroom (tubs, toilets and sinks) and last year they laid a 250ft + water service line for me. The team is super knowledgeable and they work diligently and hard. I believe their pricing is competitive and fair. It does take a few days to get them into your home to do the work, but I'm sure if it was a plumbing emergency, they could get to you on the same day. Overall - 2 thumbs up!

We've had a leak in our shower for over a month and after our third and final plumbing company, Abbas & David did an amazing job!! They found what was the causing the leak right away and sealed everything up. They told us to wait at least 24 hours before we use the shower, but we ended up waiting a week just to be 100% sure and no leak!! I'd recommend this company because they know what they're doing!

I had to have my dishwasher replaced this morning. The plumber came a little early which actually worked better for me because I had a conference call a little later. Abbas, the plumber was very respectful. He was wearing a mask, asked if he needed to take shoes off in my home. Abbas did a great job installing the dishwasher and even tightened a pipe underneath my sink for me. I highly recommend this company and more importantly this particular plumber.

Mikes PlumbIng came out to clear a toilet that wasn't functioning. The two person team, was fast, efficient, and effective. They were in and out in under 30 minutes and even removed to the toilet to ensure everything was clear. The whole process from making the appointment to the service was super easy. Most importantly they are reasonably priced. We had another company come out for a different problem two month ago and they charged three times what Mike's Plumbing did! I will be calling them again for sure!

I've used Mike's Plumbing on a few occasions. After being ripped off by Beacon over a blocked drain, Mike's couldn't have been a greater contrast.
Lining an old ceramic sewer pipe - Beacon wanted $15k to do the job. Mike's did a fabulous job in one day and charged less than half of this.
Burst water main - old galvanized pipe. They came within hours, replaced the pipe with a tunneled PVC between the meter and the house.
Wind forward a couple of years and I noticed a problem with the repair - they came straight out, found the problem fixed it and didn't even mention charging me for it (I offered to pay something).

These guys are terrible. I'll share my experience and you can decide if this is a fair review. We had a sewer main break and they came out, scoped the pipe and estimated 5K for the repair. Expensive sure, but not much you can do about it. After they excavated, they discovered additional damage and estimated an additional 4K. This is where things went off the rails. Their estimator spent 10 minutes telling me that I needed Romac couplings and that I needed two of them at a cost of $700 a piece. Not much I can do at this point since our sewer pipes are unearthed and need to be repaired. I authorized the additional work and they completed the work and sent me an invoice. I asked them for a scope video of the completed work and the signed off permit from the City back in 12/16/20. After not hearing anything back from them, I followed up again via email on 1/7/21. At this point I got suspicious and called the City and spoke with the inspector. He told me that the permit was still open and that they had not had the final inspection done. After many calls between Mike's and the City it turns out that they covered up the work without an inspection even though the permit explicitly said DO NOT COVER UNTIL INSPECTED. One of their guys actually admitted to the inspector that they didn't use the Romac couplings and they used a much cheaper Fernco coupling which does not meet code. I basically forced their hand and made them come back out, re-excavate and use the proper coupling. They claimed they were using inexperienced workers and there was a miscommunication. There is enough evidence to suggest this was not a one-off miscommunication or a case of incompetence but rather a deliberate attempt to take advantage of a homeowner during a desperate situation. The only reason the job was completed properly was because I had to step in and manage the project by coordinating between Mike's and the City. They tried to buy me off by discounting the bill $700. At first I declined the discount but then remembered they actually used only one Romac coupling ($200 their cost by the way, they sent me the receipt). I was told two couplers were needed and am 100% certain that only one was used. So the discount is basically not charging me for a coupler that was never used to begin with. This is like catching a robber in the act and the robber giving back the stolen goods with no further consequence. There is no reason for me to know what the hell a Romac or Fernco coupling is. I believe these guys are crooks and will be reporting them to the BBB and State's Attorney General.

I had a plugged kitchen sink in one of the units in my apartment building. In the morning of 10/06/20, I called Mike's Plumbing and the plumber arrived within two hours. I was pleasantly surprised it was the owner Mike. He fixed the sink quickly and I had him take a look at another plumbing issue I was having in the building. On 10/23/20, one of Mike's plumbers (MJ) came out and fixed this problem.

Mike was helpful and recommend ways to avoid future plumbing problems. In both repair services, very professional service with fair rates. Highly recommend!

So pretty fast service for a decent price. This was/is during Covid 19 and River showed up with gloves and a mask which I really appreciated. Will totally use again if the need arises! We had a super back up in the laundry room when the washer tried to empty...we shut everything down and I worked on trying to clear the drain with gel and plunger.... at the same time I had called a few plumbers and received estimates on cost and quickest reaction time. I'm glad Mike's was reactive and could service us early the next day... MJ stopped by on time and went to work quickly and had cleared the drain and also found a small leak under my laundry sink... Oh my goodness. First of all, in over twenty five years of being a homeowner, we've never hired a plumber, but always dreaded doing it because of horror stories. But, our kitchen sink became completely backed up and we needed a plumber. After reading reviews on Yelp, we found Mike's Plumbing. We called around 9am and got a real person right away who was very friendly and booked us for that afternoon with no extra charge for service that day (couldn't believe it). Then, within an hour of the phone call, we received a phone call and text from them saying that they had somebody in the area right then who could come over that morning. Unbelievable. Mike and his assistant were professional, nice, polite and quickly took care of the problem. They arrived with their covid masks on, and were very tidy while working. They were knowledgable and the price was incredibly fair, especially considering that they were at our house within an hour of booking an appointment. We are so relieved that we now know of a great plumber we can call if we need any other plumbing work. Great job, Mike's Plumbing!

Such a great experience with a situation that no homeowner is excited to have to deal with.
I was given a quote over the phone based on the details that I provided (a leak stemming from the upstairs shower and coming through the kitchen ceiling) and was prepared to pay a chunk of change. It ended up being a quick fix (replacing the bathtub overflow gasket) and only half the amount I was quoted. Not only that, but the technicians MJ and David were as fantastic as could be - incredibly friendly, respectful, and honest about every step of the work they were doing.

I had Mike and Scott come out and spend an hour with me trying to work up some remodel projects. They were generous with their time and with their ideas.

We ended up moving forward with a non-plumbing related project of removing a window and installing french doors. Scott came and did the work in two days and did an excellent job. I have used Mike's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning twice. The first time, this past spring was a total replacement of my main water line through the front yard. I did plenty of research and got several bids when my main water line broke, ultimately I went with Mikes. They came in middle of the pack on their quote, but clearly knew what they were doing and had an approach that wasn't going to tear up my sidewalk.

They were able to respond quickly, both in coming out to provide a quote and scheduling the job. The work was completed quickly, they explained everything I needed to know, and put my yard back as close to how they found it as possible after having to dig a trench through the front yard.

I called Mike's Plumbing again this week when my kitchen sink had stopped draining. The woman I spoke with in the office was wonderful working with me to find a time around my work schedule, they were able to send someone out within a day and the employee who came out was professional and efficient. He called 30 minutes prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way and after arriving, he fixed the issue quickly and cleaned up the work space.

I will use Mike's Plumbing for any plumbing needs I have!

Never again!
I loved this business, supported it since 2013, recommended it here and elsewhere.

Then I was let down.

The long and short is after attempting to grossly oversell and over charge me, I had to fire them in the middle of a job. I'd never done that before. But what a relief to have them off my premises.

It is as though some private equity firm bought this lovely family business and sent Tony Soprano to coach them on business ethics and maximizing revenue. I don't know what did happen, but they have changed from great to awful. Overselling, overcharging, employing bullying sales tactics and sending people who've forgotten their manners to deal with customers (prey).

I apologize to Yelpers here for having ever recommended them.

I'd heard good things and was looking forward to a more affordable option but nearly got fleeced. The technician was either incompetent or may have been having a slow week and tried to tell me that he couldn't snake the drain, and that the solution would be starting at 5K and a week to complete. What he didn't know was that we'd snaked the drain the year prior (just have issues with a few roots that aren't too bad) combined with kids flushing way too much paper (and possibly wipes).
I ignored the scare tactics & got craftsman plumbing out who had no problem snaking, did a scope as well- and saw that there truly are no big issues. Worth spending a bit more for the service you need to get honesty and good service without the scare tactics upsell.

Great experience with Mike's Plumbing. Five star customer service from the first call. It took a few days to get them out but that seems par for the industry. Day of Steve arrived right on time, and communicated when he was on his way. He knew exactly what the issue was, and easily fixed it. I had him also clear a sink drain. I received some assistance from Mike's Plumbing last week. After some minor challenges with scheduling, I finally got a day and time confirmed with them. Two gentlemen arrived early - friendly, masked up, and seemed knowledgeable. They did their work in the estimated 2 hours (installed a new shower valve) and then walked me through what seemed to be a quality job. If I have plumbing issues in the future, I will look to work with Mike's Plumbing again.

I had Mike's plumbing out for a second and third time because I didn't realize it at first, but I later discovered that the stopper in our guest bathroom tub had gone missing. It's not been found in our home since their first visit, so I called Mike's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning to request a replacement. Since then I've had them out twice to measure the stopper and replace the bath faucet in both our guest bathroom and our master bathroom.

I was originally told that I needed to get a ribbed faucet for our master bathroom tub, which I did at around $50 from another vendor and had Mike's Plumbing out again to install it. I wasn't told that the faucet also needed to be a certain length to clear our soaking tub until Mike's Plumbing was there installing the faucet. Since the individual was there and knew the type of faucet I needed, I would have appreciated being told the appropriate length of the faucet I should have gotten given our tub is obviously larger than standard tubs. That way I could have saved around $50 on the faucet and $115 on their visit which resulted in installing a faucet that isn't appropriately sized.

I also still have not received a replacement tub stopper from services rendered in August and have since purchased my own replacement from another vendor.

We've had Mike's Plumbing come by to fix a couple issues with our new home twice now. Each time the work was done quickly and the plumbers were courteous and helpful, answering all our new home owner questions (eg- what is that noise? Is our house going to blow up?)

My wife and I purchased new appliances from Best Buy. One of which was a refrigerator that has a water/ice dispenser. We needed to get install a water supply line to the refrigerator since there was none existing. So Best Buy sent out their contractor to do the job.

When he got there, he stood in our kitchen for 2 minutes, said he couldn't do the job, and didn't know if any kind of plumber could.

me: WTH???

I found Mike's plumbing on yelp, and despite of a couple questionable bad reviews, I took a chance on them.

There was a little mix up with the scheduling at first, but nothing that was intolerable.

Thomas and Steve came out and evaluated the situation. There was no upsale, no added pressure, and no hidden fees. In fact, the job was was done in less than an hour, and the cost was less than half of what was quoted.

I hope that if I ever need a plumbing solution again, that I get Thomas and Steve. My dog, Lucy, even greeted them with a smile instead of snarls.

I have used Mike's plumbing twice so far, both times with Cody, who is a very knowledgeable, skilled and, most importantly honest young man. The first time was to fix two leaking toilets. He was in and out quickly and did a great job. The second time was to fix a leaking sink. He found that the faucet's pull hose was broken and recommended a new sink which he installed quickly and well.

A day later I found there was still a leak under the sink. At first I was angry thinking I just bought a new sink and still have the leak. HOWEVER, this company did everything they could to get Cody back to check it out. Even though he was swamped, he came the next day after his last job which was after 7 pm. He was able to clearly explain that the faucet was definitely the problem, but the remaining leak was just due to a loose valve of the dishwasher connection. He tightened it up and was very sincere in apologizing, even though he did nothing wrong.

I definitely recommend this company for their skill and their integrity. And if Cody shows up for your job, know that you are in great hands.

Initially through emailed photos, Erik at Mike's plumbing diagnosed why my touch kitchen faucet quit working and let me know about repair and pricing. I decided to buy a replacement manual faucet instead and Abbas and John came out and did that replacement, correcting and improving other undersink connections and unclogged two slow drains while they were here. They were very courteous and professional, did and excellent and efficient job and cleaned up nicely behind themselves. The prices were very fair. As a homeowner, is there any greater feeling of relief than having a plumbing problem completely taken care of and at a reasonable price? They squeezed me in the day that I called, they updated me three times about the arrival time, I felt totally unaccustomed to this level of customer service! From the initial quote to completion of services Mike's Plumbing was knowledge, thorough and kind. The job actually came in a little under the quote.

The guys came out and quickly assessed the state

I had storm drain back up at my rental house. I called Mike's plumbing and I was given a quote I am comfortable with over the phone. They wants to rescheduled to the next day on the morning of appointment but they did ask for my permission nicely. Gerry arrived within the time frame of the appointment and put his best effort to open it up with hydro jetting. The final price is the same as original quote without hidden fees or up-sale. Gerry took time to explain and educate me even though he didn't have to. There is no attitude but only respect to me as a customer. Thank you for the excellent job.

One of our toilets stopped flushing. It was an old unit, so we decided to get a new one instead of repairing it. Mike's was able to give us a quote over the phone for a specific model of toilet. They replaced it within a couple of days. I'm sure they would have come sooner if we had been desperate, but we weren't. The plumber was courteous and did a great job. He was nice to our little dog who wanted to watch him work. Perfect.

After each of two sewer backups in less than a year, we were persistent with Mike's Plumbing to try to give a highly rated local company our business. The office and field staff were all very friendly. After the first backup, their scope guy identified a clean out we didn't know we had, saving us a bunch of $ to have a new one installed. At the end of the day, however, this company failed on follow through in identifying the root cause (no pun intended!) of the backups, and failed to provide estimates to solve the problem. After SIX visits within a year to identify the problem, and promised follow ups with quotes, we didn't have any resolution on what the problem was or how to fix it. My sense from other reviews is that this company is very good for straightforward issues, but in our case, they lacked the time, interest and follow through.

Abbas arrived to unclog my shower drain within 24 hours of first contacting Mike's plumbing. I appreciated that he removed his shoes and wore a mask while in the house, and he exceeded my expectations by recommending tools I could purchase from Home Depot to unclog the shower on my own next time (this is the third time I've had to call for a clogged drain). I've never been dissatisfied with Mike's and will continue to use their services.

We had a clogged sewer that backed up into the bathtub and leaked out from under the toilet in the main bath. Mike's plumbers cleaned the roots and debris out of the long sewer line (we're set way back from the street) and reset the toilet on a new wax ring. Mike's Plumbing was great . We called Mike's because we had a leak in our bathroom and they located the problem and fixed it right away. We also had a leaking pipe in our crawlspace so they provided a quote and came back out to complete the work. I contacted them they asked for pictures, the site didn't work for the pictures so at their request I sent them to their email address and didn't hear back, it's been 3 days. I contacted another company and the were out within an hour and replaced the leaking shower valve. Maybe too small a job, not sure. Mike's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to the rescue again. My mother's home is an older home riddled with problems. Her pipes were clogged which happens when sludge builds up. Ryan and Co. did a great job clearing the line. The service was reasonably priced. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with their service from the person who took my mother's call, provided a quote and scheduled the appointment to technicians who came and provided the service. I needed a kitchen sink and bathroom vanity drain fixed after I botched them both on a DIY remodel. Mike's Plumbing got back to me very quickly and provided a reasonable quote after I sent them some pictures of the work. Mike himself showed up and he did a fantastic job. He's very professional and worked quickly. The quality of his work made it clear that plumbing should be left to the professionals. When he was done, the price actually came out to be less than the quote. When does that ever happen? I realized we had a plumbing issue the morning after my sister and her family got into town for a week visit with us. Mike and his team totally saved us! Another plumber was supposed to come out that day but kept delaying his arrival, so I decided to reach out to Mike's Plumbing to see if they could help. Mike himself and a member from his team were at our house probably 20-30 minutes after we'd chatted on the phone. He quickly identified the problem, explained what was going on, and fixed what turned out to be a couple of issues. The thing I appreciated most about Mike--and the reason Mike's Plumbing will be my go-to from now on--is that he really took the time to explain all of the issues, and the issues made sense. We've had other plumbers out to fix things and, in retrospect, realized that they were charging us for work that was completely unnecessary and really didn't address the issue. (Hence, the reason we've been in our house 2.5 years and have had to call a plumber every 8 months or so...) Not so with Mike's. Call them. They rock.

We unwittingly supplied them a bath-only fixture for our home bath/shower and the plumber installed it, though we now know it's clearly the wrong part to anyone with experience with Hansgrohe fixtures. The installation took twice as long as the time estimate (much of which was of questionable productivity). They insisted on billing fully for that time, and would have happily come out again for several more hours and bill us again to fix it. Worse, the management rapidly took an adversarial attitude and refused any responsibility for their plumber's mistake. This and a few incidental projects they did in the meantime had leaks or were incomplete. A real nightmare, and they clearly just wanted to pocket the money and get out of the situation. Overall they charged us a few thousand dollars for poor and incomplete work by threatening to call collections.
Today, a different company's team came out and fixed it all up in under an hour for a couple hundred dollars. That could have been Mike's Plumbing and they would have gotten a very different review. I see a lot of 1 star and 5 star reviews here, which probably means they are fine but some of their staff aren't up to snuff and that management will cut and run if problems arise. If you would just say that if you use Mike's, make sure to get some guarantees before you start in case things go wrong because they seem to remain helpful only as long as they can immediately profit.

If I could give Mike's Plumbing more than 5 stars I would. I called 4 other plumbers and Mikes is the only one who came through. Our water line broke from the meter to the house. They came gave us a very fair quote, arrive on time, did the work, were clean and neat even in the pouring rain. They knew the plumbing codes that the other plumbers missed and we passed inspection without any problems. All of this the week before Christmas. Call Mike's and you will not be disappointed.

I had a very bad experience with Mikes. I scheduled my appointment well in advance. I waited for them to arrive during my window time period. When they failed to show i contacted them. They said they rescheduled my appt and forgot to call me but they would find someone to come out. A couple hours later someone showed up. He turned off my water and went outside. After about 10 min he came back in. He said they had an emergency and he would have to leave without completing my repair. He did turn my water back on. I just couldn't believe they would leave after being on site and starting my repairs. Clearly I did not reschedule as this is a company I did not want to do business with. I would give zero stars if possible.

Called Mike's plumbing when the crawlspace contractor found water damage under our back bathroom. We had no idea how bad this could have been.
The office manager was super friendly and I emailed her the pics. She set up an appointment right away and put our mind to ease right away telling me it appears to be a simple wax ring situation and the subfloor didn't really look bad at all. Emailed me a ballpark price that seemed fair.

Two clean cut, professional men showed up right on time-out on their booties and went to work. It was a quick fix and they had all the tools they needed in their van.
In and out in about 30 minutes, floor was cleaner when they left then when they arrived and that final invoice was such a relief!!!

Great knowledgeable and professional front office which puts you at ease right away and provides some peace of mind during a time of need.
A few weeks after they performed the garbage disposal installation the newly installed pipes burst. When I called to explanation the situation they acknowledged/took responsibility for the problem (a fluke we both agree), were sufficiently apologetic, and happy to dispatch a technician the same day to correct it. Despite the fact that I was inconvenienced these situations occur yet I would still recommend this company as they are professional and they obviously guarantee there work!

I set up my appointment with Nicole over the phone. She was great. She and Mike diagnosed what was likely my problem- the water heater. Initially she was concerned that the heater was under warranty and didn't want for me to pay for parts that were covered. My only concern was getting it fixed. The plumbers were on time and fixed the problem, as diagnosed. I paid for the work. All was well. Hot water flows freely! Today in my mail, I got a refund for overpayment of services. Our kitchen faucet was leaking from the base, and we were hosting a party in two days, so having working kitchen plumbing was kind of important.

I called Day & Nite and Beacon (recommended by friends for quick work), and both were super evasive about pricing, with Beacon being weirdly confrontational about how their $75 dispatch fee IS NOT an estimate cost (so they can legally claim free estimates?).

Meanwhile, Mike gave me his hourly rate, his best estimate, and a worst case scenario cost over the phone. Compared to what I've been seeing on Yelp, Mike's projections were all super reasonable. He showed up, replaced the faucet super quick, and charged us somewhere within $10 of what he originally estimated.

Solid 5 stars. Phone service was excellent. I gave a description of what I thought to be the problem and they gave me a price per hour estimate over the phone. I scheduled appt. Service person called ahead and was on time. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Got right down to business and solved the slow running main drain. We decided to try Mike's Plumbing after reading excellent Yelp reviews. We received great customer service, and they were able to fit us in immediately. They have straightforward pricing--a simple hourly rate, and from what I was told, only charge more if they need to replace parts. This in itself is a huge plus because a lot of places charge you a minimum rate for the first half hour and/or charge you based on what type of work needs to be completed.

Alex arrived on time to fix our clogged kitchen sink (and potentially problematic garbage disposal). He was professional, took his shoes off outside without me asking, and quickly got to work. Within minutes he found the problem, and finished clearing the clog in less than a half hour. I initially wasn't going to ask him to look at anything else, but because he finished so quickly, I had him also look at our slow draining shower. He cleared that as well, and finished everything in just under an hour.

I was very impressed with how quickly Alex was able to diagnose and fix the issues, as well as how professional he was (he actually left the work areas cleaner than they were when he started). We ended up spending less than what I budgeted because most places will give you a lower quote than what the final price will be, but not these guys, which I was very pleased with.

My only complaint (and it's minor) is that they don't accept cards. I had to pay by cash or check. I understand a lot of places have this policy, but from my point of view, it would be more convenient to pay by credit card.

I would definitely recommend this place, and will be calling them for any future plumbing issues.

I used Mike's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning and could not have been more impressed. I found them on yelp. The front office personnel is very helpful. The repair man who came out was on time professional and explained what was going on. Before I scheduled Mike's to come out, one plumber told me the job would be at least $800. A second Plumber quoted me $600 and Mike's fixed my problem for under $150. I will use them again if I need to... Hopefully I don't have any more plumbing issues :-)

My tenant in Mukilteo called me, there was a leak under the bathroom sink and the tub was not able to hold water. Yikes, I'm in a different state and had a find a good plumber to go out there. After looking at all the great Yelp reviews for Mike, I called.
Nicole took my info and gave me a quote, they went out the next morning. My tenant says the plumber who came out was professional, thorough and fixed the problems quickly (unlike the last plumber I sent out there!)
I received a complete and professional invoice via email and put a check in the mail to Mike's. Obviously they gave me their trust and allowed me to mail them a check instead of requiring payment immediately after service (from my tenant).
It is refreshing to know that Mike's is a company who has good values and and knows how to fix plumbing problems too! Thanks Mike and Nicole, I will be calling you again.

I had a leaky kitchen faucet. I called this plumber based on the positive reviews. After some back and forth with the office, I was able to get an appointment confirmed. I was told the ETA for the appointment would be between 2pm and 3pm. The plumber showed up at 5pm. It was determined that the hose needed to be replaced on my faucet. The hose that he had did not fit (even though I provided pictures to the office of the faucet). He offered to order the hose and that it would cost around $40. I declined. The plumber left at 5:30pm after charging me $93 for a service call with no service and I still had a leaking faucet. I ended up calling the manufacturer and getting the hose for $25 and replacing it myself. The ONLY reason why I added the extra star was because the plumber conducted him in a professional manner while he was in the house.

Half the price of Fischer Plumbing and Beacon Plumbing. They came out same day even though wasn't an emergency to unclog our kitchen sink. No service charge, just a flat REASONABLE hourly rate, unlike the others. Cody was super friendly and helpful. I mentioned our bath drains slowly, so he fixed that while he was here as well. We are new home owners and have used 2 other plumbers before finding this company and we finally found the one we will continue to use in the future. I highly recommend them.

It's a real treat to deal with a business like Mike's. We recently had a plugged drain and contacted Mike's to get an estimate. Based on my description of the problem, Nicole gave me an estimate over the phone and said they couldn't work me in the same day, but would be out the first thing in the morning. Jerry and Steve showed up right on time, immediately got to work clearing the drain and were done within an hour, including removing and resetting the toilet. The bill was exactly as quoted (and very reasonable).

I would unhesitatingly recommend Mike's for any plumbing work that they do. It's nice to know that there are still businesses that operate promptly, honestly, and competently.

I had another plumber come out when I had a leaky sink, and while he was there asked him whether my old plumbing needed to be replaced. That plumber promptly gave me a huge quote to do all kinds of work. So I called Mike's Plumbing to get a second opinion, and he walked me through my plumbing and gave me actually good advice, with no immediate repairs needed. Then he didn't even charge me for coming out. I'll definitely be using him from now on.

I contacted Mike to inspect pipes in the crawl space after the home inspector found corrosion. On the day that he was supposed to do the work, I received a call from Nicole indicating that he wouldn't be able to make it because of unexpected problems at an earlier job, so we rescheduled. He came out on that day at the time expected and he did the work at a reasonable rate. He only replaced the pipe hangers and noted that there was no damage to the piping itself. We had a great experience with Mike's Plumbing. We had a leak into our crawl space. The guys stopped by to check it out and give an estimate. It was the end of the day and I'm sure they were tired, but they offered to do the work right then. They worked very hard, and it was fixed within an hour. Great experience!

I just want to say, I know Mike only because I am also a plumbing contractor. I have met him at a supply house that we both use for materials, and so I am his competition! But that is a funny word...in reality, we both see a need, and are doing our best to meet that need. So really, we are not competing with each other, because King County is full of folks who need plumbing work done, and there's enough for all of us.

I am writing this review because on multiple occasions, I have been impressed with Mike's character and demeanor. He carries himself well and treats the people around him with respect. You may be surprised to know that in a plumbing supply house, interacting with other plumbers is often not the most charming experience...needless to say, I would NEVER send my wife into a supply house to pick up parts for me. This trade is unfortunately not known for being classy and appropriate. Mike, on the other hand, bucks stereotypes that this trade is fraught with and is just very obviously a stand-up guy.

I've seen the products he buys, and he buys quality products. I've chatted with him and noticed that the back of his truck is very well organized. This guy is a top-notch individual, and you'll do good to call him up.

Anthony, Mike's Plumbing, did an awesome job of diagnosing a kitchen disposal that was not working in a rental home. The disposal was beyond repair and had rusted with debris in side it so he had to replace it. He was kind, efficient and charged a very fair price. I would highly recommend this company and Anthony is awesome!!

Mike and one of his guys came last week to fix the leaking around the base of my toilet. He was awesome! So friendly, giving me advice/recommendations on what to do about the many things that are wrong with my new house (a flipped house). He even looked at and tried to fix a leaky sink faucet while the other guy was fixing the toilet. My toilet ended up leaking a little still, but some guys came back the next week to re-do the wax ring, at no extra cost.

Update: My toilet kept leaking. Mike's guys came back to change the flange. I did pay more for that. A week or two later, my toilet was still leaking. Throughout the whole process, Mike, all his guys, and everyone at the office was super nice. Finally, Mike himself was to come back to re-assess the problem again. He showed up with a new toilet. He told me he didn't want to keep making me spend money--he really wanted to help me fix the leak. He said completely changing out the toilet was the last thing he could try, and he would not charge me. He even offered to just refund all the money I'd already paid him if I wanted to try to get a different plumber to come try to fix the leak. It worked! It's been a month or so and still no leak. Mike really cares about getting the job done RIGHT. Thank you so so much Mike!!! I will definitely be calling Mike's plumbing for all my plumbing needs! You should, too!!

Our main was plugged and we had another company come out and the tried several times to snake the plug to no avail. Wanted to dig up and search for the plug. We quickly called Mike's Plumbing and Drain. Nicole got us in the next day. One try and the drain was cleared. They are honest, hard working and we trust them. Mike's is awesome. I have used them several times now for various issues, including a water main replacement as well as water heater replacement over the holidays recently where they stepped in due to another company flaking. I would highly recommend Mike for plumbing work. I heard good things about him and needed new piping in my basement to replace a mess of old pipes. It was a whole day's job and when I returned the work was completed exactly as we discussed, with all the old pipes removed and everything cleaned up. It's been a month and things are working great. I called another place left message with reception, they didn't call back until next day. I called Mike's plumbing and Nicole booked me an appointment immediately. Cody showed up on time, very professional (shook hands and introduced himself, wiped his shoes before coming in). I showed him the water marks along the toilet and he replaced the wax ring in Olympic time. He cleaned up after installation and the price was what was quoted at appointment. I highly recommend Mike's plumbing.

I have been fortunate now to have had 2 visits from Mike and a third from 2 of his technicians. The first was when my husband was told a plumber needed to do something to the toilet in our upstairs bathroom before the flooring could be repaired under it. The technicians looked at the toilet and said that my husband had been misinformed but to call when we had gotten the floor replaced because then they could reseat the toilet. I wasn't charged for that visit. I was so pleased with the young men who came on that call that I decided to ask Mike to give us a bid on fixing the floor. He came in person and talked to us about what we would need to do and again didn't charge. Then I had a significant water spill in my laundry room. I had been told the faucet for the washer needed repair so assumed that was a leak where the water had come from. Mike came within an hour to take care of my emergency which turned out to be a spill from the washer. As long as he was here, he replaced the faucet, aligned the legs on the dryer and fixed the downstairs toilet that had been giving us trouble. Throughout he was cheerful, friendly and didn't act like I was an idiot (even though I was) or that I had inconvenienced him (which I had because it was past 5pm when they finished). He didn't rush me, answered my questions, and all for a VERY reasonable amount. He is knowledgeable, efficient, professional and kind. I can't recommend him highly enough!

I used Mike's Plumbing before and was satisfied with their work. I recently had a tub, toilet and bathroom sink that backed up into my utility room. So, I called them again. They came out and diagnosed the problem as a root right outside my bathroom. The plumber didn't have the right tools with him, so he couldn't take care of the supposed root. He also seemed to be worried about getting to his next appointment on time. He pulled the toilet ($295) and tried to break up the roots with his camera. He told me the toilet would work for a couple of days. The tub and sink were still not draining. This was Christmas eve day. They recommended a $3,900 clean out (I already have two). I called another plumber for a bid. In 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem as a plugged up line between the tub, toilet and exterior. For $160, he cleaned out a 20 year, massive accumulation of hair. Biggest hair ball I've ever seen. Done. The other plumber stated that the clean out Mike's suggested wouldn't have solved the issue, nor would it have fit in their determined area. How could they misdiagnosed something so easy????? They are crossed off my list.

What a great experience. We needed work done on the plumbing in our kitchen. They came out on president's day, fixed everything (including installing a new faucet that he had in the truck) and cleaned up in an hour. Have had workers from Mike's Plumbing come twice in the past couple of weeks, once to fix a leak in a kitchen faucet (Anthony), and once to completely replace the fixtures of 2 kitchen sinks (Cody). In both cases, Mike's scheduling person responded to emails very promptly (both by phone and email). With the leak, we got same-day service. The other was next-day. Both workers were on time, professional, willing to share a few tips. Both worked efficiently. Anthony was willing to look at several other things in addition to the leak, and fixed them easily. Particularly impressed by Cody, who though young seemed quite experienced and had a few tricks up his sleeve when old faucet bolt was stuck, worked quickly, after installation completely tested out the system in each sink (hot, cold, dishwasher connection, control buttons on faucet), and was very careful to clean up at the end. Price was $175/hour, though that is probably the going rate, and these guys don't dawdle or waste time. A good business to work with.

Not only is he a good plumber, but Mike is a nice guy. He listens to you, makes suggestions, and then gets the work done. Mike is there when he says he is going to be or if he gets delayed on another job, he calls ahead to explain. The only attitude you are going to get from Mike is professional, respectful, and honest.
