Established in 1999.
Joe, the founder of Joe The Plumber, has worked in the plumbing industry since the early 1970's. He started his plumbing career working on new construction with the first houses in the Woodland's. After this project, he then started working with the largest plumbing company of that time. In 1981, Joe received his Journeyman's License and continued to advance to Master Plumber, receiving his Master Plumber license in 1982.Later that year, He bought his first truck with $900.00 and started working with his newly created company named Latino Plumbing. After several years with his company he decided to change the name and market himself as Joe The Plumber. We have offered the greater area of Houston many years of high Quality Service and plan on continuing with the service for many more years to come. Want very reliable and professional plumbers then choose Joe the Plumber. I've been working with This company for number of years and been working with one of their plumbers Jimy Reyes for majority of those years. He is very professional and good plumber. I've always have found this company to be fair and honest and keeping their word and doing high quality work.
Joe called us in to sub contract some work for him and he never paid. Refuses to answer.
I had a sink that was clogged and backing up. The clog was deep in the wall. I called on a Sunday evening and a young man by the name of Richard showed up within an hour. He was very professional and fixed my issue quickly , and made sure there were no leaks before he left.
I was very impressed with the quick response from this company, and the professionalism from the plumber
Run Forrest Run!! Overcharged by 2X and installed bathroom sink drain improperly. 2 years later, water everywhere. Won't come back to fix it, say it's a customer-purchased faucet and the labor is out of warranty. Very simple job. Run Forrest Run!!

I have to say, I've never ever had a plumbing company come out the very next day to service anything I've wanted done , I e always gotten the run around for weeks sometimes months , and I'm from Chicago , but when I called Joe's plumbing they gave me the estimate right over the phone and they came over the very next day and installed my sink drain and he was done like in 15 minutes , wow talk about quick service and this guy had the greatest attitude in the world ! As a Government employee , I would recommend this company and if anything this guy that came to install this who had the greatest attitude in the world who is very knowledgeable and very clean he never left a mess anywhere now my wife is going to be very happy thanks to Joe's Plumbing thank you Joe for saving my marriage! Horrible price gouging. We left a message and sent an email to be on their waitlist after the freeze. The day the plumber was supposed to come, of course, he was hours late. Then once he arrived he tried for maybe a half hour to order the parts he determined were needed to fix our tankless water heater, then told me I should try to order the parts. I asked for a quote for them to fix it and he said he'd get back to me the next day. Never heard from him, so I called and spoke with a lady who said shed call me right back. Guess what, she never did. Two days later I called and asked for her, and she said oh he never gave me the quote, hold on. Only a couple minutes later she magically found the quote. $4,500! I asked her for a breakdown of parts, labor, etc, and this is what I got via email a few minutes later. No model numbers or anything. I asked more questions and learned the water heater they were going to install retails for $1399, so they were going to charge me $3100 to install it!!
I ended up buying a water heater on my own and had another plumber install to for $250.
Take your business elsewhere.
I called Joe the Plumber to have some faucets installed. I scheduled an appointment for a few days later. The plumbers Will and Josh arrived on time and I was even called approximately thirty minutes prior to their arrival. Service was performed quickly and efficiently. They completed the job in about an hour. Both guys were courteous and knowledgeable. They completed the job and it met my expectations. I rated the job as four stars only because I felt the price was a bit on the high side. I would recommend the company as their service was very good.
I called on a Sunday morning when neighbors detected a leak close to backflow at our house. Spoke with Virginia and said technician would be out in under two hours. Josh showed up and tightened our issue in meter box where it was leaking . Unfortunately, mine was a quick fix. The neighbors and their feed not so lucky. Very impressed with communication from both Virginia and Josh. Will certainly use them again!!

I used Joe the Plumber for a partial bathroom remodel based on the good experience my tile contractor had working with them in the past. I got a quote from a few companies but Joe's had the best pricing and came with my contractor's trust, so it was an easy choice. They were easy to work with, showed up on time, and did a great job. A month later we had a different plumbing issue and called them back. They responded quickly and we again had great service for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them and have recommended them to friends and family.

We previously used Joe the Plumber and had no issues. I guess that we pushed our luck. We asked Joe the Plumber to install a new toilet. Before the plumber left, my husband noticed the toilet and/or tank rattled. The plumber blamed the tank lid. He also said we had 7 days to report any issues. After a day or so, we noticed the toilet or tank was rocking and water was leaking onto the floor. We called to have the issue fixed within the 7 day period. The plumber came back to the house and leveled the toilet. When I noticed a charge on our bank statement, we contacted Joe the Plumber because the repair should have been covered by the warranty period. We were told that the problem with the rocking was our fault. Apparently we were supposed to do the plumber's job for him and level the toilet. Buyer beware. Please be careful when using the services of Joe the plumber. We don't want the same thing to happen to you.
I highly recommend Joe the Plumber. I hired him because his referrals were stellar (he's big on Angie's List), and now that he's fixed my leaky hot water heater, I can see why he's so popular. He was fast to respond to my call, and arrived when he said he would. He made short work of repairing the leak, explained the problem thoroughly to me, and charged me a fair price. I will definitely use him again!
I had what I thought was a major issue, which turned out to be almost nothing, which was a major relief. As such, I can't really comment on how great they are at plumbing, I can confirm, however, that they show up in the window of time promised, they are polite, responsive, they are good at problem identification, and when they realize the issue is minor, they don't try to sell you on a massive, unnecessary project - they fix the minor problem. The plumber I dealt with, Matthew, was excellent. I will use them again.
So I like so many suffered from the Ice storm. Then after waiting 2 days for them to show up, got totally price screwed from the company. I turned them into the county attorney for price gouging from the Ice storm. You should do the same thing!

Came out and capped 2 pipes after the freeze. Cancelled first appointment. Arrived in time for the second appointment. Polite and knowledgeable. VERY expensive. Cost almost 500 to cap 2 pipes. Got the second of pipe replaced for half that price.
Free quote cost $87... We had someone from the gas company come out and showed us several places where the gas line outside was leaking. Called joe the plumber the same day and they sent someone out two days later. The plumber could not find any of the leaks the gas company showed us (except one inside an appliance they can't fix, which is fine) then charged me $87 to check for gas leaks again. They did not disclose that there would be a charge before checking for leaks. Not very helpful.
Problem: Water main valve busted while I was attempting to secure the water main. Knob came out and water went everywhere!
David Fernandez came to my house without hesitation at 900 at night. The scope of the job turned for the worst when one of the unions did not work. David drove back to the shop in Cypress (I live in midtown), assembled a valve and returned at 1100 pm! He fix the issue with a SMILE! He is a great guy and the customer service David and the company displayed was top notch!
I really appreciate David and I HIGHLY recommend you request him for your service!
Thank you Joe The Plumber for having great guys on your staff like Michael H.. He was very responsive and helpful. He came out diagnosed the issue and provided a solution to resolve. His efficiency in getting the job done allowed me enough time to attend a meeting I expected to miss. Thanks Michael for the excellent work, craftsmanship and timeliness.
Will never use them again. They didn't fix the issue and caused more problems. We had to get a new plumber to fix what they damaged. If I could give them a zero I would!
Had 2 problems, water heater went out and a leak from a 2nd floor bath. David was sent out, he seemed highly competent at his job, and had a professional demeanor and attitude. He was able to replace my water heater and identify the leak (a previous plumber couldn't find). Not only was he able to fix our leak he repaired some shoddy work on our bathtub hardware and sealed up everything better than I had hoped.
Above my expectations, highly recommend!
I was impressed with the front office staff. I needed someone to come on a Saturday and do work, and I was able to text a photo to tell them what I was needing, and they were able to come on a weekend.
However, the work was shoddy at best. The plumber came to fix the handle on the master shower, and replaced one part, but did not put the face plate back on, and left a gaping hole, while charging over $400 for a half done job.
The guy that came out was very cocky and after tearing out our old toilet said he was going to have to re-run special plumbing or we were going to have to return our toilet, yet he tore open and destroyed the box before he looked at it all and then proceeded to tell us that Lowes wouldn't take our toilet back without a box. What a jerk!
I was impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of Joe The Plumber's replacement of our hot water heater, from start to finish! Oh my goodness- first off, the receptionist was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and Matt our Field Supervisor and his assistant, were both professional, respectful and KNEW THEIR STUFF! I cannot stress just how impressed I am with their service! Kudos to a company well-run, and a job well-done!
I will most definitely recommend Joe's to family and friends, and will use them for our next plumbing problem!
I have used Joe the Plumber on many occasions and they have always provided great service and reasonable prices. Their work is phenomenal in comparison to others. I even had them out Christmas Day for an emergency where another plumber messed up. I will always use them. It is a great service. Highly recommend. You will not regret it.
The driver in vehicle #10 nearly caused a huge accident today. When I called to report it, the guy that answered the phone with an attitude so I have a feeling it was him. He said that he was the supervisor and asked me what I wanted. After explaining what happened he still had an attitude so I told him that I will handle this a different way. His comment to me was what are you going to do, call the police? He said it's not like they are going to write a ticket for cutting someone off. REALLY? I will never ever do business with this company. If this is how the 'supervisor' handles business, I would hate to see how they would handle a plumbing issue.
Satisfactory service. Exorbitant price. $1100. to replace a toilet drainpipe flange. 1 1/2 to 2 hours work. When asked if they charge $500+ per hour was told they charge a flat rate. What is the flat rate? Depends 2 other plumbers said it should have been $300 to $400. CALLED to talk to owner or manager. He was on vacation. Would call me back. Waited 6 days and called back. He saw they had given me a estimate to repipe my house. Said he could make up the price on a repipe job. Gave me a quote for $4000 more than another company. Came down $3000 but didn't include replastering which the other company did. Said he still wanted me to be satisfied and would call me back by 12:00 the next day. No call. Waited a couple days and called back. Left message, but still no return call.Not satisfied at all. With price or customer service. I am in business also and don't take lightly leaving a review like this.

I called tonight to request an estimate on service for an emergency plumbing issue with garbage disposal. I spoke with a female from the Cypress emergency line. She advised me that estimates have to be scheduled and that I would need to call tomorrow for scheduling because she only handles emergencies. After giving her a better description of my concern and advising her that I wanted to take advantage of the emergency scheduling she told me I still needed to call back tomorrow. At this point I've gotten the impression that its 6:30pm on a Friday and obviously past her hours of giving assistance. I inquired on how this emergency thing works if I still needed to call after 9am the next day? I also asked how do I bandage the issue until I call back, she proceeds to ask me well how long have you already been dealing with this problem because it doesn't sound overnight? I kindly told her never mind, I'm not interested in their services. I can't give any feedback on wether their plumbers are skilled but I can say their front line intercepting potential revenue sucks!
I have used them twice one at home and one for business. The first visit was at my home which went great. Good service reasonable price. The tech was awesome.
So after first experience when we had a issue with our hot water heater at work I immediately thought joe the plumber. Everything was great made call hour later come out tech. Not same as my house, he was totally rude and gave outrageous prices. He continued to tell me it would just cost little bit more to replace unit. The unit was just over year old. I call manufacturer and we were just out of warranty due to use in commercial setting. The went to tell me all parts that would need replaced would be no more than $50 for all. He was trying to take total advantage of me. Im a small business owner and every penny really matters. After finding out actual price i called office to discuss why such high quote and was told tech would call me back. Upon his call he was extremely rude and basically told me to call some other plumber to do the work. I was in total shock. So that's what i did I called a different plumber who got job done asap for only $185. They provided great service and great price. I hope they fix the techs attitude cause he will continue to lose them quality customers. I will not go back again.
I've used them multiple times over the years and they have always been prompt, professional and skilled. The work they've done has always held up and the prices were in line for the scope of each job.
The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was that they always complain that I am not in their market area before giving in and doing me a favor because of the repeat business. Finally I have chosen to find someone else though I will miss their good service.

Bad customer service/policies. They came out and gave us an estimate and the technician made me uncomfortable. We scheduled to have the work done on the condition that they send send a different tech but they assured us they would honor their original bid. When Matt showed up to do the work he told me the price would be increased by a third and obviously he had no intention of doing the work that day as scheduled . The receptionist was supposed to talk to the manager but never got back to us. Terrible.
I am a DIY person and was changing the valve cartridge on my Moen shower then the stem broke on a Sunday at 2pm and it would not come out. Problem with a shower is there isn't a shutoff so I couldn't turn the water back on to the house. Called 10 plumbers over the next two hours and Joe The Plumber was one of 3 companies that answered their phone but the only company that could send someone out in a few hours on a weekend. I am so appreciative and thankful they could come out after hours on a weekend to fix the issue. Price was good especially considering after hours work. Shower works great now !!

Failed to finished job as agreed, repair failed 3 times ,after repair held did not come back to cover exposed plumbing. Called office was told would be put on schedule that day no show no call.
