Coleson Gillis did a great job with the electrical work that needed to be done in our old house. He was polite, friendly and professional. He wore protective boot coverings each time he entered the house, explained what he was doing and the work that needed to be done and finished in a professional and timely manner. Need electrical work done? Call Huckleberry. They get it done and show up when they say they will. My thanks to them. Much appreciated...and we will keep you in mind if we need any other work done.

We worked with Morgan, Duane and Andrew on upgrading our panel to 200 amps and adding an EV outlet. From the start, communication was easy, friendly, and Morgan was incredibly patient with our million and one questions on the process. Having been in contact with 4 other electricians, Huckleberry was the most responsive and offered competitive pricing.

The day of actual work went very smoothly. They even helped us move some shelves to ensure we met inspection requirements. When done, I didn't have to spend extra cleanup time as the space was returned to original condition.

Things got complicated once we were working with the utility provider. Apparently there are different sets of electrician codes set nationally and by the local utility, whom Andrew spent considerable time coordinating with. We eventually passed all inspections thanks to Andrew, Morgan and Duane's persistence and professionalism. Will definitely work with them again in the future!

Huckleberry Electric started by missing my appointment window with no communication that they would be late. I called and they confirmed I was on the schedule for today and said they would have the electrician contact me with an updated window. An hour later I tried calling again only to get a voicemail and no response. It is absolutely unprofessional to no-call / no-show to an appointment scheduled a week in advance. The complete lack of communication is what really frustrates me.

Don't waste your time. If their work is anything like the way they run their business then you're in for a real disappointment.

This is an update:  After trying to contact the company for many weeks, I decided to write the previous Yelp review since we were frustrated, and my mom was cold.  

Suddenly, my phone was blowing up with emails and phone calls.  I appreciated the quick response and explanation from the owner.  That same day, he sent out two electricians to go to my mom's house and start fixing the heater.  She was so happy!  They worked meticulously for many hours to isolate the heater and figure out how to install a new one since the current one was over 50 years old.  The new heater they had brought did not work because of not having the correct wattage, but they quickly made an appointment to bring the correct heater the next week.  

On that day, they were supposed to come in the morning, but ended up being double booked, so they came in the afternoon instead. The great thing was, however, they called my mom and let her know. Then they came out and worked for almost 3 hours installing the new heater. It looks and works great, and she is so very happy!  With the previous communication issues out of the way, I highly recommend this company.

Amazing is what best describes my experience working with the team at Huckleberry Electric.
A pretty substantial, snow and ice-laden tree branch snapped off during winter storms and caught on one of our power lines. We thankfully did not lose power, but the branch did cause some damage to the conduit attached to the house and destroyed our weather cap.
Huckleberry Electric was the first to respond to my Yelp quote inquiries, and was able to book a crew out really quickly. Now, Seattle City Light and Mother Nature had other plans for this initial appointment (and the rescheduled appointment after that), but Andrew, Morgan, and Coleson at Huckleberry Electric were all fantastic sports, had the best, most optimistic attitudes, and were very flexible with everything that was thrown at us. They handled the permits and the inspection afterwards so I didn't have to worry about anything.

The pricing was extremely competitive, the communication from the owner and the crews was above and beyond, and what I think was most important was they took an extremely stressful situation for me and made it easy as could be. If I need electrical work done again, in any capacity, I'll turn to them first. Thanks, guys!

Great experience. Andrew was very responsive with a bunch of questions, and the crew did a great job with the initial installation of a EV charger. More importantly, they had no problem sending the crews to check on various unexpected issues afterwards without additional cost. They also took care of everything related to the inspection. It was definitely beyond my expectations.

I highly recommend Huckleberry Electric's services based on two experiences -

1. We wanted a level-2 EV charger installation done at our home. We got quotes from several electricians, but we liked Huckleberry Electric the best based on their prompt communication and very competitive pricing. Andrew, the owner is very transparent with his communication and upfront with all costs involved. Coleson and his team that installed the charger were very courteous and professional in their interactions and they hold themselves to a very high standard in the work they do.

2. We wanted a wired electric doorbell installed at our place. Huckleberry Electric sent out someone for a FREE inspection after which they determined that the work would be too much to install a wired doorbell and they recommended that it would be better if I self installed a battery operated one instead. Imagine leaving 500$ of job to make sure the customer had a good experience. After this experience I knew these guys were trustworthy and wouldn't make a suggestion just to earn more money.

I'm going to reach out to them for any electric work. I highly recommend them!

We did call them again for a few different items.  They were able to come in a timely manner and quickly/accurately did the work.  Great doing business with them again.

I needed a 14-50 outlet installed in my garage to charge my new EV. I found Huckleberry Electric through their great reviews on here on Yelp. I contacted Andrew via creating a project here on Yelp to ask some questions and setup an appointment. Andrew was friendly and responsive and answered all my questions and setup the appointment. As the appointment approached, I was contacted by Kadin letting me know they were on their way. Kadin and Troy arrived and were friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and even had some recommendations and advice. On inspection of my panel, they realized they needed to replace some existing breakers to consolidate them to make room for the new 50 amp breaker. They had to go get some extra breakers and on return got to work. They did a great job, nice and clean, it took them about an hour from start to finish.

I'm happy I found Huckleberry. I will definitely use them again for any electrical needs I have down the road. And thanks to Yelp for taking the stress out of finding a reliable and competent electrician.

Great work with vent installation in bathrooms and flood light installation. Very clean work and reliable. Highly recommended for the electric work. Very thought full and experienced crew, gave lot of suggestions and work around to avoid any unnecessary dry wall work during this electric work.

UPDATE: I wasn't in the apartment for several days. When I returned there was no power in the unit. Huckleberry Electric came back the next morning to diagnose again and determined the issue was not with my unit but either with the building or the energy company. With that information I was able to remedy the situation. If I could give H.E 6-stars I would. Superior customer service.

Not only did Andrew reach out to me first when I requested an estimate from a handful of electricians, he gave me a great quote and had a flexible schedule to work with. He waited patiently while I collected estimates from other companies, and had quick and open communication during the process. Ultimately, Andrew's quote couldn't be beat and I easily reached out to him to schedule the job.

Colson did a fantastic job installing 2 chandeliers in my home. One in the dining room and one in the entry way with a 20 foot ceiling. He even hauled our old ones and the boxes of the new ones away. He made sure we were happy with his work before leaving.

Had a couple of burnt out outlets, and a circuit breaker fail. Coleson came out and installed new outlets and a circuit breaker.

I also had a lamp post that hasn't worked for a few months. On a follow up visit, he was able to determine that an outlet that fed the post was miswired (by another company), and fixed that too.

Good communication and showed up on timely. Will use them in the future.

I recently got my garage drywalled and the outlets were sunk into the sheetrock and needed to be brought out flush to the wall.  Cristian did a great job on extending the outlets and switch.   Coleson worked on troubleshooting to figure out why a can light was not working over my kitchen sink which involved installing a new switch.  He also worked on other ceiling lights in my garage.  Both young men did an excellent job.  They worked efficiently, were courteous, and discussed the cost before starting.

The guys came out, they were quick to diagnose the problem, and drumroll...it was a tripped breaker. So I feel stupid for calling out an electrician for a tripped breaker but I'm happy to have found an honest electrician and they will be my go-to from here on out.

I feel so bad to not remember the names of the wonderful gentlemen who came to fix the problem I was having, but I won't forget their explanations or promptness. Especially the explanations as I had plenty of questions. I was having issues with my GFCI outlet where it kept tripping whenever I turned on my window AC unit--a problem I did not have the previously--even when it was the only appliance using that outlet (or electrical circuit!)

The original quote they gave me was to have a new dedicated circuit installed just for AC unit. Due to time constraints I did not get multiple quotes from different companies, however they provided me a quote that was within reason for the work being done. To my surprise, though, the day of the installation, they did another round of troubleshooting and were able to find a solution that did not require any extra work to be done and saved me around $650. Imagine passing over $650!!! I did not expect that level of integrity but deeply appreciated it.

I have plans to renovate my kitchen and I will definitely keep Huckleberry in mind. 20/10; I've already recommended them to a friend.

Two electricians came by to look at our circuit breaker and they replaced several fuse boxes and rewired our hot water heater which had been previously connected to our dryer and was tripping and overheating our breaker. They were super knowledgeable, informed us of everything they found as they found it, worked quickly and efficiently, and were done within 2 hours! Definitely making this company our go-to for electrical repairs!

Preface: the Context:
My wife and I have a condo with terrible air circulation. Our bathroom fans needed replacing. I had purchased improved fans with lights for our restrooms, but we couldn't find anyone who could do the replacement work. My wife has some significant special needs, and the fans sat for more than a year before we were finally able to get them replaced.

My wife found Huckleberry Electric a few weeks back, and we scheduled an appointment for the Thanksgiving week. Unfortunately, electrician jobs are often unpredictable, so we got an email from Huckleberry letting us know that they were running late, and would likely not be able to get to our job that day. Scheduling is very difficult for me and my wife, so I let them know that it would be difficult to reschedule, and we were disappointed. Andrew, the person helping to reschedule, was able to get us penciled in the following week, and fully acknowledged/validated our concerns. He took full responsibility and let us know that he'd give us a 30% discount, which is far more than they usually do for any reason. Once the rescheduling was done, they came on time the next week, and the experience really couldn't have gone any better!

1. Quality of the Work
What's probably most important is just the simple assessment of the work itself. On this level, Huckleberry completely delivered. Coleson and Brandon each took on one of the fans in our two bathrooms, and they really knocked it out of the park. The work was perfect. The replacements looked beautiful and functioned exactly as I'd hope!

2. Professionalism and Friendliness
Both Coleson and Brandon were very friendly and professional. Given my wife's health issue, we needed to ask them to be particularly hygienic with hand washing and to close doors behind them to reduce noise. They both were very thoughtful and considerate of our requests. We were particularly impressed with how seriously they took the request to wash hands. They scrubbed down like surgeons! We were super happy and pleased with just how cooperative they were with everything we asked for/needed.

3. Creative, resourceful, and honest.
When we were first getting a sense of the job, Brandon and Coleson were concerned that they may need to cut out large portions of the dry wall to make the change happen and to properly secure the fans. While not what I wanted to hear, they were upfront and honest about it, and wanted to be sure I was clear. We discussed options, and agreed to move forward with it, but to try to ensure straight/even dry wall cuts and I'd eventually find a way to make the patches... but that ended up not being necessary! They discovered that they could do minimal trims of the drywall and secure/fasten the fans to the existing metal braces supported by the studs. The end result, as mentioned above, was that it looked perfect, functioned perfectly, and no dry-wall repairs necessary!!

All in all, I really couldn't be more pleased. It was quite a bargain. If I have any other electrician needs in the future, Huckleberry Electric will be my first call.

I'm a first time customer and had Huckleberry Electric install a NEMA 14-50, 220 volt outlet in preparation for an EV charger. I got quotes from several electricians but Huckleberry just stood out! Andrew (owner) was really responsive, pricing was straightforward/transparent and reasonable, and there were no surprises in the final invoice.

Kadin and Troy, who did the free estimate and installation, were great! On-time, friendly, professional and a lot of fun (they even won over our dog, Ezzie :) They even went out to get a lockable, weatherproof receptacle for the outlet after I said I was concerned about charger theft given where we finally placed the outlet. I'm super happy with the outstanding job they did (minimal removal of drywall which they'd warned me about ahead of time) and left a clean workplace.

I bought a Tesla Model 3P, and needed a wall charger installed.  The guys at Huckleberry Electric were very responsive, and Coleson and his colleague did a terrific job of installing it.  They arrived on time, and went above and beyond by making sure the colors of the installed panel switches were the same as the ones already there.  It's working flawlessly now and I am extremely happy.

I had mixed feelings with their service. Let me start with what I liked. The service quality definitely met, if not went beyond, my expectation: messages were always responded quickly, the folks showed up on time, they were very polite, and the job was done smoothly.

The only but nontrivial downside is that the price went too far beyond the original estimate. The original estimate given was $300-450 and what I was charged in the end was $900+ for what I think was a pretty standard task (installing an outside security camera on a carport).

To be fair, they gave me this $900+ quote before they started working and I agreed as I was too busy to find another folk. But still wonder what made this 2-3x time difference before the final estimate and the initial estimate especially when the task does not seem to involve anything unexpected.

We had some outlets and lights that stop working recently. Another company came to troubleshoot it and told us we'd have to rip out a bunch of drywall to get it fixed. Huckleberry not only had a better hourly rate and sent more guys to the job, they diagnosed the problem and fixed it without needing to tear out drywall as the other company said would be needed. We saved at least $700 on electrical work, not to mention what we would have had to spend on drywall and repainting. Recommended.

Changed my review.  They get one star for prompt response.  Bathroom remodel where they placed all electric switches, fans, heat and light fixtures.
They fail because many of the outlets did not work due to forgetting to hook up at main box.  Bathroom fan does not work which they are refusing to come out to fix.  On my testing it does not show electricity at that particular wall switch.  Hiring a new electrician to fix their errors.  IF you hire make sure everything works before they leave.  Apparently they don't check their work.

We needed a 240 plug installed for our EV charger, so we got quotes on Yelp from 5 providers. Huckleberry electric was very responsive and gave the best price. They took care of the permit, scheduling was easy and the work was flawlessly and completed quickly. The installed the plug and the charger.

Hired Huckleberry Electric to install an external outlet on my deck. I really liked that they gave me a basic quote that was exactly the average install price. I knew exactly how much it will cost. The electricians who came out were very professional and respected my home. They cleaned up the debris afterwards and I was very happy with the install.

They were even early for the appointment (and called ahead to make sure that was ok). The install went smoothly and quickly. They didn't just throw it on the wall either, we walked thru some options to make sure the layout made sense. The charger itself is working at maximum output too, which is the most important thing! I had to reschedule my first visit and Andrew was very accommodating about it. During their diagnostic visit, Kadin and assistant were on-time (early in fact), courteous, and professional. My over-the-range microwave was tripping the breaker, and they effectively ruled out potential electrical circuitry reasons.

We had them wire our house for a generator. Then we had them back to fix a broken outlet. Very honest and up front with their prices. Good work. Very reliable.

The recent snow and wind took out my power.  PSE responded, and indicated that there was some damage to my masthead that I would need to hire an electrician to take care of.  I called Huckleberry Electric, and the owner, Andrew answered, and said he could have a crew out the next morning.  Colson and Morgan responded, were prompt, polite, professional, and took care of the issue.  I highly recommend Huckleberry Electric, will use them again, and recommend them to others!  Just waiting for PSE  to do their part so I can have power back!

Couldn't be happier. Professional, experienced, courteous and great listeners and communicators. Never talked down. That was my experience with Morgan and Dwayne. They restored a connection between a generator transfer switch and the furnace. Quick problem solvers and spent a lot of time walking me through the issue and the solution. Bonus was I learned a lot more about my setup and how I could operate it during a power outage more efficiently and with far less time and effort! Totally rocked it!

The owner Andrew contacted me within an hour of requesting a bid. I had a circuit breaker go bad. He and his colleague came out and fixed it the very next day at a very reasonable price. Nice guys and easy to work with. Will definitely hire again.

Kadin and Dwyane did a great job installing an EV charger in my garage and repairing an exterior outlet.  I'm calling Huckleberry again to get some work done to repair/replace a ceiling fan.

Huckleberry Electric made scheduling fast and easy. They came and gave a quote and then got to work the same day. We hired them to add 4 new outlets, change one switch to a dimmer, and install a new fixture. They did good work for a fair price. I plan to hire them again for future projects.

Quality work and customer service. They got a quote to me and scheduled me when I needed. I asked them to do a couple minor adjustments to our outlets and a light fixture. The also installed our ceiling fan. They did a great job and I would recommend them and plan to use them again moving forward.

There was a miss communication on this project at the beginning but after a few chats Andrew re-engaged with me in the issue and he solved the project in an effective matter. I'd use Huckleberry Electric again.

Huckleberry was very responsive via Yelp and came out quickly to diagnose and fix an electric heating wiring issue.  The electrician trade (like all the trades) is super busy now with new construction and remodeling ... it was very reassuring (and much appreciated) to get Huckleberry's electricians (Cade and Morgan) to come diagnose-and-fix the issue so that we can get the condo on the market.  It turned out that a previous electrician (not from Huckleberry... unfortunately a friend of a friend type referral) had wired some electric baseboard heaters incorrectly and the thermostat needed to be a different style (different number of poles.)

We recently purchased a home that needed a host of little fixes.  Colson and Morgan came out, took our list and efficiently worked through it.  Their work was quality, they were great with our kids and had some great recommendations for future improvements.  We'll be using them again next time for sure!

Andrew, Coleson, and the team were fantastic. They are very responsive and goes the extra mile to help their customers. My HVAC guys initially thought the disconnect wasn't working and it turned out that was not the case. Due to that, Coleson and his team had to come to our place twice on the same day in short notice. Instead of only checking the disconnect, they even took off the HVAC cover to confirm that electricity was running all the way into the AC unit just to be sure. They clean up after themselves and on time. I am definitely calling them again for my future electrical work.

Andrew of huckleberry electric gave us a reasonable and fairly competitive quote. Since then has been very responsive, shared clear cut plan for EV charger installation and also with an early installation date. On the day of installation, electricians arrived right on time. Did awesome installation within the set timeframe and they were quite fast & efficient. Clean installation, all wires within wall.. in-fact electrical inspector was impressed left comment Sleek Installation. All Payment were done through card. Certainly would recommend them.

Had them change my main panel, add new can lights, add a new disconnect for a heat pump and a hot tub. Some of the cleanest work I've ever seen. Project was done ahead of schedule, and perfect. I couldn't be happier with their service, communication, and clean up. I'll hire them again in a heartbeat.

Andrew and his crew installed a new electrical panel in our home and added a 125 amp panel in our new detached garage. They did an excellent job at a fair price and were prompt in completing the work. We would not hesitate to hire Huckleberry Electric for future work or to recommend them to family and friends.

So grateful for Huckleberry Electric. We awoke to no power in the garage, our tankless water heater, fridge or freezer! No breakers had been tripped and we were stumped. They were able to come out and fix the issue the same day. Great communication and service! Highly recommend!

He was absolutely focused on helping as opposed to making money off me. In that vein, he even suggested few solutions that helped me resolve the problem without any need for a visit.

Premium Energy Solutions was able to fix a small electrical wiring issue at my house. The price was reasonable and they were very responsive for scheduling and communication. The electrician that came by our house was very fast, clean, and efficient. I would gladly recommend them.

Andrew was up front about the cost to handle my issue, and able to sent someone onsite within a day. He is very nice to work with, and able to resolve the issue in a short time. Highly recommended.

Andrew was great to work with. I had an idea for what I wanted with recessed lighting and when he came into my house he consulted my fiancé and I with his recommendation. We ended up going with the spacial lighting he recommended and we're very happy with the turnout. Him and his team were very professional, they provided us with timing ahead of time and it was an overall great experience.
