I had a few small plumbing jobs that I needed to have taken care of, so I quickly went to Yelp to check for highly rated plumbers in my area when Jay's 5-star average review caught my eye.  Too good to be true?  I had to find out for myself.

To say that I was impressed with his service is an understatement.  Jay was able to come over right away and review the projects I had for him and offer me a very competitive estimate.

A few days later he was at my house at the agreed upon date and time completing the work on budget.

Jay saved me from a disaster that I created trying to remove a bathtub spout. I scored the outside of the copper pipe severely to the point it couldn't be used. There was only 1 inch  salvageable extending from the tub wall that was undamaged for him to solder on an extension. He used heat blocking putty on the tub wall to protect it while soldering on the extension. Then he soldered on a threaded nipple and installed the spout I ordered and finished by sealing it with tub and tile caulking. Very nice job. It saved me from needing to open up the back drywall to make the repair. Thank you.  I highly recommend!

Since I was working from home, I decided to get my bathroom sink replace as the enamel started to flake off.  Not only did their estimate lower than a few places I got from home advisor, but was available to do the work immediately.  
Not only was the work done professionally but also quickly.  I will definitely use him again if I have any other issues or projects.

I contacted Forest Ridge Plumbing for a leaking water heater. Jay responded to my inquiry within an hour. He was able to take a look and provide a very reasonable estimate within 3 hours of my call. Hot water heater was picked up, installed and running efficiently within 6 hours. His work was meticulous and there were no crazy add-ons or upselling efforts. I had a local chain plumbing company rep come to fix the toilet in our newly purchased home. The toilet was not screwed down to the floor properly. The guy from the chain company told me it would cost $448 to pull the toilet, replace the screws, and reinstall. He then tried to upsell me into buying a new toilet and was really aggressive; even offering to buy the toilet for me himself at Home Depot, offering that I could reimburse him with a personal check. He gave me his personal cell number. This seemed very sketchy. I declined, that seemed ridiculous - so I called Forest Ridge for 2nd opinion. Jay came out and said it would be $280 to pull the toilet, replace the screws, and reinstall. I asked Jay about the flange, the pipe that connects the toilet to the sewer pipe under the home. The chain plumber told me it was loose and would be $2000 to replace that. Jay said it would be about $400.00, but that he thought it wasn't necessary. After reinstalling the toilet, he crawled under the house and had me flush the toilet a couple times to ensure it wasn't leaking. Jay appears to take pride in his work, is knowledgeable, and has integrity. I would definitely go back to him for future plumbing needs.

When you find an honest pleasant person to work with you hang on to their info! Jay came by to asses what I assumed was a water heater leak...He checked the base and said there was no water on the inside of the pan or insulation. He added a cap to a brass valve that he suspected caused the bit of water on the outside at no charge. The company that came by for a quote an hour before said the whole unit needed to be replaced. I really appreciate Jay's honesty and service, I will be calling him for all future plumbing repairs.

We have had Jay work on our hot water replacement and garbage disposal.  Both time he provided honest and reasonable price quotes, great info and excellent workmanship!

Not much else to say other than he showed up the first time and found an extra leak and fixed it too.
The second time he came out and replaced our rocking toilet.
I'm always glad to find a tradesman that is organized and keeps their appointments.
Plus he is fast, when he had to grind out a pipe under the sink I thought for sure it would be expensive. But he had it fixed quickly.

Another great experience with FR. They're definitely my preferred plumber. They offer pretty much all services, and they're a local independent. Exactly who I want to use.

Called them out for a third visit today. Needed a new commode in the throne room, and there was a leak in the shower. Pete showed up early, cheerful, and ready to go. He hustled through the install and did a great job. When I booked the appointment, I forgot to tell him about the leak in the shower. He happily added it to the visit and fixed it in a few minutes.

I did some online research on toilets, and he was able to make recommendations that jibed with that I found online. He recommended a Toto Drake, which he had for just a couple dollars more than online sources charged. It's not available as of today in physical stores, so I had two options--him, or online. Went with him, and was happy enough in this case to put another $15 into a local business and not have to wait for shipping.

He's tidy and always pleasant and professional. He doesn't ask to inspect the house and look for other stuff you might need him to fix. He does what he's there to do, does it right, does it quickly, sticks to his estimate, and then moves on to his next appointment. I'll keep calling him for work as long as he stays in business.

My washbasin sink was clogged and I was afraid to open the pipes myself. I called Roto rooter first who gave me a free quote of 400$. I knew this was too much to fix a clog, yelped local plumbers and spoke to Jay. There are many things I liked about him:
1. Customer obsession: quick in working with me and finding a time to take a look at the issue. Even though it wasn't an emergency, he was available to stop by pretty much the same day.
2. Earn trust: he has definitely earned my trust. He told me over the phone that since I'm closeby, he won't charge me for the visit. said the clog is a out 200$ which was already half the price to what roto rooters said. Once he came, he knew the issue and fixed it in 2m. Gave me a free lesson and said he cannot charge me for this whole fix. I cannot expect anything more than that and was very appreciative of his professional nature.

He is the guy for everyone in bothell. Definitely raises the bar for all his competitors.

Pete just came over today to replace a kitchen faucet and a few smaller plumbing tasks. Superfast, efficient, courteous, and reasonably priced. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I had a leak in my garage main water shut off valve and called Forest Ridge who came out within the day to replace the valve and to install a water pressure control valve. Jay did a great job and came up with a very creative way to install the water pressure control valve.

Would I use him again? Absolutely. Now I feel confident that I can go on a vacation and not come home to a flooded garage.

We had an issue with our toilet, called a different plumber and left a voicemail, and did not hear back 3 days later.

Found these guys on yelp, called 'em, and Pete called back within an hour! Initially he was booked for the day, but I think he got done early, squeezed us and was in and done in like 20 minutes. Super friendly, knowledgeable and a heck of a nice guy!

Just had a Jay P. from Forest Ridge Plumbing over to fix a dishwasher line blockage and air gap issue plus an outdoor faucet.  He was on time as promised, his quote and estimate matched and were fair (no upsell!), and worked quickly then double checked his work.  It is always hard to find trustworthy and reliable service providers that you feel comfortable having inside your home, so I'm happy to provide this reference for Jay and will be calling him the next time I have a plumbing issue.

I originally called the company, based on the positive reviews on Yelp.  I've had poor experiences with Plumbers/Plumbing companies, so reviews are very important to me.  I called to schedule a Roman Tub faucet and a toilet installation(s), and I received a quick response from Jay, w/ fairly quick scheduling for service.  I didn't have a plumbing emergency, so I didn't need a quick turn-around.  

Jay arrived in an unmarked, but fully stocked van. The van is actually a rolling plumbing warehouse, after I took a peek inside.  I appreciate the last fact, as I've had many plumbers show up and need to run and get parts (while the clock is ticking).

He looked at my tub remodel project, and wasn't sure my faucet / valve configuration would work with the tub.  However, he tried to make it work.  After 2 hours of work, he indicated 'he wouldn't put his name to the work', so he wasn't able to finish the job. He didn't charge me, because he wasn't able to finish the job.  I was stunned!  This is such a professional approach to customer service, and I truly appreciate his time and sacrifice.

He was able to professionally install the 1/2 bath toilet.  It looks great!  I highly recommend this company and ask for 'Jay'.

Used Pete this past week.  He was able to come out the same day and addressed the leak I had under my sink.  He moved fast to diagnose the source of the leak and then worked to fix it.  

He was very professional and gained my trust.  I now know who I will call if I ever have another plumbing issue.

I am a landlord of a property I have in Lynnwood. The tenant reported a leak in the water heater. Jay was extremely prompt and had the lowest quote of any other plumber I called (about 150 lower than the second lowest bid!). He also showed up to check out the leak at his earliest. However, given that he was going to be out for sometime and was fully booked till then, I did not end up getting the install done from him but would not hesitate to call him up the next time I need one!

I was worried that we had a leak, but Jay called and made some suggestions of things to try before he came out.  I really appreciated it.  I'll call again should we need a plumber.  (Would have given these guys a 5-star review, but we didn't actually have them out to the house.)

Cold weather, broken pipe, leaking all over the floor.

I ran to Yelp and found the plumber closest to my house. I called Forest Ridge and the gal said she'd have Pete call me back as soon as possible. Pete called back within 20 minutes and promised to be out that day. Mind you this was December 24.

Pete came out and assessed the problem. Although his truck has a million parts, my house has a special kind of faucet that he'd need to order. So he cut and capped the pipes and told me he'd be back in a few days with the necessary parts. Don't worry about the bill, I'll get it to you later, he said.

As promised, Pete came out a few days later with the parts. In less than an hour he had the whole thing put together, while our 6-year old chatted with him the entire time.

The bill was about $350, but $80 was the faucet itself. More importantly, there's nothing creepy about Pete - he's a genuine guy that's honest and really knows what he's doing. That's not always the case with plumbers, in my experience.

Pete fixed 3 slow-flushing toilets, including putting in 2 new flappers and replacing a water valve(? whatever that's called to the left), in about 35 mins.  Yes, he is that fast.

We used the remainder of our 1 hr asking him about the water pressure in our shower head, our sink... our stovetop and exhaust fan.  He had answers to all our questions and gave good references to stores and products.

Professional, efficient, friendly. 5 stars.

Oh, he did arrive 25minutes early.. so i guess you would call him punctual!

I have to admit it:  I am a cynic.  30+ reviews, all five star and nothing lower struck me as, well, unbelievable.  But I called Forest Ridge anyway.

Pete is everything you would expect from these reviews:  competent, fast and goal oriented.  He crawled under my  house, fixed a broken drain pipe and was done twenty minutes later.

I am now a believer and just added my own five star review.  Way to go, Pete!

Pete is absolutely the BEST. He is knowledgeable and when he fixes a problem he will often give you tips on how to prevent the problem from reoccuring or how to quickly fix it yourself.

He always explains the situation in detail, the solution and why. His prices are fair. He does not rush you to replace a toilet or fixture if it is fixable and has more life span.

He is just a great guy. I originally learned about him from Washington Park Tower condos in Madison Park where he was the plumber that the building always called. He (and his partner before his retirement) has been holding our 1924 home together since 1993.

Yelp reviews helped me pick Forest Ridge over others plumbers. Most of them are a joke. Once place 'freakin' charges $75 just to send a guy out and refused to give me a range of pricing or price/hour or average price etc.

Pete is knowledgeable and straightforward. He explained to me of the possible problems over the phone without even seeing my kitchen and the piping. He was upfront with his pricing and didn't charge the silly send-a-guy-over-to-look fee. He also gave me some estimates on work required and possible time to complete.

After calling Pete, he came by within hours (same day) and worked quickly to diagnose and unclog my kitchen sinks. He gave me advice on preventative maintenance, general problems to expect over time, and recommendations for improved piping and disposal units.

Pete truly is the BEST!

Found Jay on Yelp and so glad I did.  
Originally called him to fix a toilet, and while he was here fixed a second toilet and kitchen faucet. Since I had the parts for the toilet and it was a quick fix, he charged me nothing. What? Unheard of.
It's day one and I've already told three friends about him.  Next up, I'll have him install a new water heater.
He was fast, friendly and has me as a customer for life.

Pete is the best!  We have been using him for years (most recently to replace a broken garbage disposal).  Here's the typical scenario:

1.  Plumbing problem develops (usually at night).
2.  I call Pete's number first thing in the morning and speak to his receptionist (his wife, maybe?)
3.  He calls me within 30 minutes.
4.  He's at my house within another hour.  (Not always, of course, but nearly every time.)
5.  The problem is fixed quickly, at a reasonable price.

On top of that, he's friendly, polite, and extremely helpful about preventive stuff, as other reviewers have noted.

I'd rank him higher than 5 stars if possible.

I hired Jay from Forest Ridge Plumbing to do several preventative maintenance plumbing tasks around my home.  Jay lived up to the high expectations set by these reviews, and his prices were reasonable.  I was impressed by his workmanship and by the quality of the materials used.  It's evident that Jay takes pride in his work.  He also showed up as scheduled and completed the work on time.  I'd definitely hire him again for future plumbing needs.

He was completely understanding of my wonky work schedule and meeting at the most convenient time for me. He diagnosed and fixed my problems super quick, offered advice on some home inspection repairs, and when I brought up extra problems that I hadn't mentioned before - he went straight to checking it out and fixed it (of course, after I agreed).

He is a bit of a fast talker (as in speed), but completely friendly and willing to explain things more in depth. I will not hesitate to contact him if any plumbing problems come up in the future.

We had new countertops and sink installed, but hooking up the plumbing under the sink scared me.  Yelpers steered me in the right direction, and I contacted Pete.

He was responsive, competent, and FAST!  He is easy to speak with, and is incredibly mission oriented.  There will not be a second of wasted time when he is in your home.  He works the problem, solves it, and gets you back to your day.

His pricing was very fair, and I will invariably use him again if (when) we have more plumbing issues.

We had been told by a heating technician who managed to work in our claustrophobia-inducing crawlspace that there was a leak.  So... I poked around the internet and found this plumber with a number of good recommendations.  I called them, talked to Pete, and he even was ready to come by the same day.  I wasn't (because I was at work) so we set up for later in the week.

Wow.  Great plumber!  Friendly, courteous, focused, responsive and thorough.  He found our leak and fixed it quickly.  The price was super-reasonable, too.  

He'll get all our plumbing business from now on.

Another happy customer! We found Forest Ridge through Yelp. Pete installed a pressure reducing valve in a house we recently purchased. Friendly, efficient, and and reasonably priced! Like so many others, he will be our go-to plumber.

Really happy with this place. Jay was very nice and thorough. I will use them again in the future for any issues.

We have used Forest Ridge Plumbing several times, mostly to fix leaky toilets, but once to fix a leaky pipe under our sink. We moved into our house in 2007. It was built in 2004. In about 2010 one of the supply lines under the sink starting leaking where it came out of the wall. Pete diagnosed this with his usual speed. He said the builder had used the cheap shark teeth type of fitting so he had to saw it off, leaving enough pipe to reconnect it properly. I agree with every other review (and I think they are ALL five stars) about Pete's speed, knowledge, friendliness and reasonable pricing. And by the way, I read ALL of the 20 filtered out reviews and in my opinion, ALL of them are legitimate. If Pete ever decides to retire, We will be pretty sad.

Update 7/12/12. Well I came here to update my review of another business (that review was filtered out) and what do you know, this one was filtered out too! Yelp, what is wrong with you guys!?? Read the unfiltered and filtered reviews of Forest Ridge Plumbing. See any difference? I don't. They ALL are mostly 5 star because Pete is a 5 star plumber!! I think Yelp should allow consumers to comment on other consumers' reviews, as Amazon does. Then if other consumers thought a review was fake they could challenge the reviewer. Instead they use this stupid filter. Am I angry that BOTH of my reviews have been filtered? Yes I am, but I think it is unfair that consumers don't get to see these reviews unless they happen to see the filtered link. BTW, Pete accepts only cash or check, not credit or debit cards. He's a one-man operation.

Their service was quick, responsive and affordable.  Thank you for helping us out in a pinch.  What else can we say...

A CPVC fitting was leaking. He removed two 90 degree elbows, one which was the leaky fitting, and installed two new 90 degree elbows and a few inches of straight pipe, along with a couple of unions. NOTE: NO ONE uses CPVC anymore in new construction due to its high failure rate. I did not expect him to use CPVC in the repair.
This company has had a new owner, Jay, since about mid to late 2015. Most of the ratings here apply to the previous owner, Pete. Some time ago, Pete, replaced a leaking CPVC fitting in the same wall right next to the one that was leaking today. Pete replaced the leaky CPVC fitting and another elbow fitting with copper fittings. Naturally, I assumed that Jay would do the same thing, so I did not even ask. He did offer shark bite fittings (PEX?), although he said he would not necessarily recommend it. When he was done, I was surprised to see that he had replaced the fittings with CPVC, since EVERYONE knows they are prone to leak over time. I asked him why he used CPVC instead of copper. He said he couldn't (UNTRUE). I pointed to the copper fittings inches away that Pete had used in a similar repair. Jay then said there was not room enough to use copper. (Again, UNTRUE). Then he gave a 3rd nonsensical answer. I could see I would not get a straight, honest answer from him. His bill, which was not itemized, even to separate labor and materials, was $286.62. He was here about an hour, including a trip to the store to get a part. I paid it and he left. Later, I wondered if my water pressure might be too high, which might contribute to leaks. I checked and discovered that my water pressure is 90 pounds. The MAXIMUM recommended pressure is only 80 pounds. Jay did not even ask me what my pressure is. (Although, neither had Pete). I also I asked Jay why the bill was so high. He said his minimum call out charge is $160 and just about any job ends up over $200. He does not bill by the hour but by the job, according to a book. He said he also has to consider his driving time to and from each job. He also said he has to pay Pete for the business (absolutely not a valid reason to charge higher prices). I feel like a sucker. I will NEVER use this company again.

Needed a garbage disposal and facet install.  Absolutely have found THE plumber for any jobs in the future.  This gentleman followed through exactly as described by fellow Yelper reviews--quality, integrity, and professional!

Pete moved some plumbing for me in my bathroom as part of a remodel. I understand that he does primarily repair work, but he was nice enough to come out and help with this remodel plumbing yesterday.

At work this morning, somebody asked how the plumbing went yesterday and I began singing Pete's praises. My coworker stops me and asks, 'Pete from Forest Ridge? Oh yeah, I know Pete. He's the only guy I use.

Have used him twice. Once for a new sink, to fix a leak in another sink and fix a leaky outdoor faucet and then once to fix a leak between copper and pvc where pipe goes out of house to outside irrigation. Works super fast -- jogs between work site and his truck if he needs something. Cost may be a little higher than others but quality, speed and honesty are priceless!

He's the only plumber I'll call. No regrets.

As an experienced DIY'er I went about replacing my kitchen sink, faucet, and food disposal.  All was well until I got to the drains and whatnot, the space was very tight and I was having a really hard time figuring out the correct routing.  I checked here on Yelp, saw the glowing reviews for Pete and called him. He called me back promptly and came over the next morning. All the reviews pretty much sum up Pete: he's Tasmanian-devil quick, very polite and personable, and presented me with a very reasonable bill.  Couldn't be happier!

Called the day before to fix a clogged drain, said they could come in the next day. Fixed and paid within 20 minutes. Everything done within a lunch break's time to leave work, meet plumber at door, fix, pay, handshake, go back to work. Will definitely call again if anything happens.

Well, I must say I'm not one to use Yelp or give much feedback but today Jay earned my gratitude and appreciation.  Our bath tub came up clogged this afternoon and I did the usual things that have worked in the past to clear it but not today.  So I got on Yelp and found this company Forest Ridge Plumbing with 56 reviews and a Five Star rating.  Thought I would go out on a limb and see if they could help me.  Don't want to list the times of response because I don't know if it was normal operation or if I just got lucky.  So, let's just say for someone with high service standards and skeptical of what I see on the internet and review sights, Jay from Forest Ridge Plumbing exceeded all expectations.  From first contact with the woman who took my call, to call back and response time by Jay, I could not have been more pleased.  Lastly with the cost of professional plumbers I thought I might have to refinance my house to pay for this kind of service, NO way, his rate was well within reason for this type of service.  Thank You Jay, I will definitely use your services again in the future and recommend you to anyone in need.

Jay took over where Pete left off in the integrity department. Toilet issue that's been plaguing me (at a rental) for awhile now. Jay showed up even earlier than expected (with a courtesy call!), got it the issue handled, quick and friendly too. I'm calling Forrest Ridge every time.

We noticed a hole on our water heater expansion tank so my husband looked online for a plumber. He called one place and made an appointment, but after doing some more research he saw the yelp reviews for Forest Ridge Plumbing. He cancelled the other appointment and immediately called Pete. Pete was great. He got to our house within three hours of calling and replaced our expansion tank. Great service and great price. He's definitely our go to guy next time we have plumbing problems.

We just had this plumber come by and give us a free estimate.  He was quick and very knowledgeable.  Even though he couldn't take on the job he diagnosed, he gave us a recommendation of who to call and what needed to be done.

Professional service, polite, and quick!  Would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future.  He also saved us from getting ripped off by Beacon Plumbing.

I made the mistake of calling Beacon Plumbing out to look at our disposal that was not working.  I paid $82 for the tech to give me an estimate for nearly $750 to replace the disposal and snake the sink.  The tech said the disposal was totally fried and had to be replaced.  

I found Forest Ridge Plumbing on Yelp and gave them a call.  Within a few minutes, I received a call back from Peter who said he could look at it and sounded like it might just have an obstruction.  He called me when he was on his way and within ten minutes of his arrival our disposal was back up and running.  He saved us (and our landlord) from paying $750 for work that clearly did not need to be done.

We hired Pete after a disappointing experience with another (larger) plumbing company. He was fantastic! Very friendly, personable and professional! He fit us into his schedule the next day, was quick and efficient, and explained everything he was doing along the way. He was able to refer us to a contractor who does tile work, and even called the contractor before he left to help make the introduction. I don't know if Pete has the cheapest rates, but I don't care--it's worth the money to make sure something is done right, with a contractor that you can truly trust. I would hire Pete again in a heartbeat!

This is my second Yelp referral and my second 5 star review...  As for Pete at Forest Ridge Plumbing.. he arrived right on time,  was extremely professional  and got to work on my problem immediately.  Not only did he fix my issue but did a little preventative maintenance.  He is very knowledgeable, his prices are very fair and he worked very quickly and efficiently.  He is a very pleasant person and not at all creepy.   I will definitely recommend him to friends and family and will call him again should the need arise.

I woke up this morning with a wet bathroom, an appointment I didn't want to miss and a wife of 42 years, that without saying a word, let me know I needed to get it taken care of. I contacted a friend who I thought might know of a good plumber. Without hesitation he recommended Pete Nager of Forest Ridge Plumbing. I called, but Pete was already underway, but within 30 minutes he called back and said he could come out that afternoon if it was convenient for me.

He called before he arrived, was courteous, professional and in a very short period of time had assessed the problem and fixed it. He answered some questions my wife had about the kitchen plumbing and was on his way. His fee was very reasonable, the job was well done and he now has one more satisfied customer to refer him to others without hesitation.

I called over the weekend, and the call was returned first thing Monday morning. Pete first tried to help me over the phone-free. That helped me diagnose the problem. When he got there he took care of it quickly. And, like another user said, zero creepiness factor. Highly recommended.

This guy is great.  He's personable,  experienced and affordable. He quickly came and fixed or water heater on time, when he said he would be here.  I would recommend this guy to all friends and family.

It's hard finding a honest plumber that is efficient and charges a fair price.  He's officially my plumber from this point foward!!! :)

I used Yelp to find this plumber, and he was awesome. We made the fatal mistake of putting Clorox tablets in our toilet tanks. The result was warped flappers, damaged water control valves, and two floods. I called Forest Ridge Plumbing at about 8:15am, he was here by 9 and done with 4 toilets in an hour. He hustled up and down the stairs, did not ride the clock like some hourly workers I've known, and really knows his stuff. I'm confident that our issues are resolved and vow to never ever put chemicals in the tank again, even though they're marketed for just that purpose. I hope I don't need another plumber soon, but if I do, I'm calling Pete.

We first called a well known plumbing company to get an idea what a repair of a leaking supply line and pressure reducing valve replacement would cost but they would only provide an estimate at the job site with me agreeing to pay a fee to come look. I agreed thinking they would end up fixing it.  They showed up promptly looked at the issue and provided the estimate to fix the leak and replace the pressure reducing valve. The estimate seemed pretty high so I asked for an estimate just to repair the leak since the new pressure reducing valve was the big ticket item.  All of a sudden the cost to repair the leak doubled so I said no thanks but paid the fee to come look.  
My wife searched for a plumber on line using yelp and that is where we found Pete with Forest Ridge plumbing.  Gave Pete a call explained what needed fixed, he provided a ball park estimate over the phone so had Pete do the work.  He fixed the leak and replaced the pressure reducing valve in the amount of time estimated over the phone and the cost for the whole job was less than the other companies estimate to just fix the leak.  Pete will be my first call for future plumbing issues.

Pete was fast, thorough and friendly.  He was able to come out the same day, even for a small job.  His rates were a lot less than other plumbers contacted.  Great work!

Pete came out and replaced our recirculating water pump. He was fast and friendly and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

this guy is the best. Worth every penny but you don't need to woryy about that. Honest, quick, ethical and gave me advice that saved me money and having to call for future work with frozen pipes. They don't come any better than him.

Awesome, awesome, awesome plumber!  He had to grab a couple of things from his truck while he was working on our tub leak, and he would almost run just to make sure he didn't take up too much time going back and forth.  We HIGHLY recommend Pete!

I called Forest ridge plumbing based on the yelp reviews and it proved to be a great decision. Pete showed up early, which was great. I had an appt set up to replace my disposal that went out, on our call he provided me with a lot of information and ways to save money. He is a really nice guy, who got right down to business. Great price, knowledgeable and prompt. Definitely recommend him for your plumbing needs!

Pete was great. Fast, efficient, and job done right with everything working. He will now be my go to plumber.

I called the business based on the majority of positive reviews. Although it was not an emergency, I explained what was going on with the outside water hook-up. Jay was able to determine over the phone that it sounded like a ruptured pipe. He arrived promptly the next day as promised, reviewed the job, explained he would have to cut into the drywall to repair the pipe. I live in a town home so the area in question is in a shared wall with my neighbor.  Jay performed the work efficiently, answered my questions, cut as little drywall as necessary to locate the damaged pipe, showed me the hole in the copper pipe & installed a new one.  He also showed me where my water shut off valve was in the garage which I could not locate on my own & explained how to prevent future occurrences.  The repair cost was not ridiculous, Jay was professional yet easy to talk with, fair pricing and job integrity are very important to me, I won't hesitate to use this business again as well as referring to family & friends.  I should add that he was very conscience in regards to leaving little to no mess in the process of repair.

I don't remember who came to install our garbage disposal but he was quick and we haven't had issues with it so far.  The fast service offsets the higher hourly rate.  We will definitely use this company for future plumbing needs.

I bought a house 6 months ago and I've had several different tradesmen come to the house to give me estimates; electricians, arborists, plumbers, contractors,  roofers,  I even got  bids to remove racoons.
The most professional and reasonable of all of them was Pete from Forest Ridge Plumbing. He was also the only plumber (of the three local companies that gave estimates) that would quote me an hourly rate.
I opened this Yelp account just because I was so impressed. I read reviews online after getting two other estimates then I called Forest Ridge Plumbing.
Pete called me back promptly and asked a bunch of questions, I could tell he was visualizing the work to be done.  He showed up early the next day and got right to work. He installed a dishwasher where there wasn't one before, a new sink and a new faucet.  The whole thing completed was less than a third of  the cost of the other estimates. This guy worked with a sense of urgency that I haven't seen in a long time. He was very pleasant and involved me in the process, I learned something.
I highly reccomend this guy.

I had Pete come out on short notice to repair sewer pipes that were under my house. He was very polite and professional on got the dirty deed done in record time. Pete was top notch! Came within a half hour of talking with him on the phone. Super professional and efficient. From the time I yelped him to our problem being solved, I'm estimating it was less than 2 hours!

We had two small jobs for him. Light drip in one sink and then under the kitchen sink hot water shutoff. Did a great job fixing both was in and out quickly. Cost was high but well worth it for his knowledge, helpfulness, presence and speed. I will use him again.

I chose Forest Ridge Plumbing based off the reviews. Pete was so wonderful. we didn't have anything major but he was courteous and respectful and we will definitely call him again if we have any plumbing needs.

Well, rude. Hardly even finished listening to my problem: a stopped sink I've tried everything to unclog myself for two days, before rudely telling me she had no one available to work on my problem and told me to go elsewhere. Guess my problem wasn't big enough for them.

WOW!  The best experience I've ever had of it's type.  FAST to acknowledge, FAST to arrive and FAST to finish !!!  And, I wasn't gouged for the service.  THIS is the place to call for plumbing. !!!!

I agree with all the positive sentiments outlined in the previous 5 star ratings for Forest Ridge Plumbing.  I have not used them in about 8 years or so, but this morning found us with neither of our two toilets working.   Pete came a little after noon, is very pleasant and had them both working within an hour.  He gets right down to business, works quickly and when he needed to go to his truck for parts or tools I noticed that  he sprints.  He wastes no time at all.  I will use him again should I need plumbing services and do not hesitate to recommend him.   Price was reasonable also.

Pete from Forest Ridge did a great job for me.  I had several plumbers look at the job and he was the best price. I don't usually go with the lowest bidder but he was able to handle a deformed pipe better than anyone else and I liked his straightforwardness.  He always called when he said he would and he was very fast.

As with all the great reviews of Forest Ridge Plumbing, i too give Pete 5 stars!  I own rental properties in the Lynnwood/Everett area and Pete has been extremely helpful, punctual, and his knowlege and work ethic are above the rest.
Let me give you two examples:
1. In desperate need, i had another plumbing company come look at a 2nd floor leaking tub (not easy--you have to tear in to the ceiling and go up and find the leak) and they gave me about a $700 quote.  I knew the actual brass joint only cost ~$40 (found it online), so there was no way the labor could be that much.  I talked to their manager and he insisted that is what it would cost.  Pete came the next day and did the whole job for $180!
2. Numerous times i have called Pete to explain the problem and instead of him coming out and charging me a plumber visit fee, he will just explain in detail how to fix the problem myself!  He has saved me money numerous times that way as well.
All around a great operation!  I wish he served Seattle!

If you need a plumber, Pete is your guy.  I could not have been happier!  He works quickly and doesn't waste time getting the job done.   We had an appointment for him to come over the next day and his afternoon appointment was cancelled so he called me and came over the same day I called.   Thank you YELP and BBB for steering me in the right direction.  He is so good that I almost want another plumbing problem... ok, well, not really ... but when I do I know who I will call!

I stupidly dumped a bunch of dry cat food down the disposal and got a bad drain clog. I worked uncomfortably to snake out the line. Yada yada it didn't work, so I called Forest Ridge. Pete returned my call within a half an hour and penciled me in as his next stop, even though I didn't say it was urgent. He was amiable, clean, professional, brought in the appropriate tools and got right to work. I looked on and asked him questions about the process while he worked. He explained everything and didn't seem to mind. He didn't judge me about the cat food either. He charged $131.40. I was very pleased with the outstanding service and fair price.

Pete's a freaking rock star of the plumbing world and should get his own special 6-star category.  I've never seen anyone do anything as fast and efficiently as this guy. Not a wasted word or motion.  Showed up when he said he would, sawed out some old galvanized pipes, snaked the pipes to clear a clog, dropped some plumbing code and how-to knowledge, wrote up the bill (very reasonable), and was out the door in around 45 minutes. Dang!  I need a little of that energy.

I own investment real estate and have used Pete the Plumber for years.  He is the best!  Pete is competent, fair, honest, and a good guy.  I'll use Pete foreever!  Or, at least until I die.

Pete is the BEST!!  If I had to vote  for the best plumber in the Seattle area, he will get my vote, my wife's and my guests will join in tooo.  We have  called Pete for the past 5+ years and he responds super quickly, and is able to come and help fix the problem next day. Efficient, honest, super knowledgeable, polite, patient, and always doing the extra bit to make it a great job.  And always a fair price. He is just AWESOME.

We bought a new kitchen faucet, but didn't have the right tools to get up into the tiny space behind the sink to remove the old faucet.  Based on the Yelp reviews, we left a message for Pete, who called us right back.  He let us know that he charges by the hour with an hour minimum, which seemed reasonable, and said it wouldn't take more than an hour to take out the old faucet and put in the new one.  He showed up the next morning, right when he said he would, and got the job done in less than an hour.  We'll definitely use him again!.

I finally found a plumber that practices honesty & integrity. Had him replace the valves in 2 toilets--fast, efficient & priced very fair.
