Sent a request for a quote and within about 10 minutes I received a response saying that I probably wouldn't need an Electrician to come out.

Brett asked for my phone number and called immediately and walked me through the troubleshooting process over the phone for free!

He was friendly, knowledgeable, and had funny stories too! He stayed on the phone with me as I ran around my house identifying where an outlet has tripped after our outdoor outlet stopped working. Thankfully, I was able to find the GFCI outlet to reset near the breaker and everything was working again!

Wanted to give Brett a quick shoutout. Super responsive and because he's obviously so good, he's booked months in advance. His schedule didn't work for my project as I needed work completed a bit earlier. However, he was really proactive, reaching out and spending over 15 minutes on the phone to discuss the project and give me pointers even after I told him his timeline wouldn't work for me. And unlike typical sales types, he tried convincing me to save money, etc. instead of going all out and future-proofing given my current lack of clarity for certain portions of the project.

This is the first review I've ever written for a vendor who couldn't accommodate us! We contacted 123 Electric Service for our urgent need of an electrician to address a brewing electrical fire. Brett was immediately responsive and broke my heart when he indicated they were booked out for months, BUT he then took the time (unsolicitedly) to call us and offer free advice about our wiring to prevent more serious stuff in the future. We were so appreciative, I just had to share our experience. I think I know why they're fully booked--Brett clearly knew what he was doing, and our only disappointment is they couldn't come help us today.

I hired Brett to switch some old track lights for some recessed lighting. I live in a condominium so I wanted a professional electrician to take care of it and I am so glad I found Brett! Brett was a pleasure to work with! From the first call and the free in-person visit for a quote to the clean work space and the fun conversations, I am very happy to have picked Brett! I wanted the recessed lights at very specific spots and Brett worked with me to make sure this could happen (you never know what you'll find in the ceiling so gotta be flexible!) He made sure to explain all his steps and I really felt heard during the whole process. 
In terms of timeline, Brett came in May for the in-person quote and was only available to start his project in August. This was completely fine with us as we were in no hurry but I thought I should share. :)

He is overpriced.  If someone charges you a premium price, there can't be any excuses.  Replacing a panel is one thing but 123 misaligned our bathroom lights above our bathroom vanity.  We had to pay a separate electrician to come in and fix.  This was all part of a home remodel and towards the end, 123 tried to charge us triple for other tasks.  I got someone else once I realized.  In my experience you can only use contractors for 1 or 2 projects before they feel like they can take advantage of you.  123 is OK if you have basic electrical tasks.  But in general get quotes from at least 3 or more contractors for any project so you can get a sense of what the market cost is.

I contacted a few contractors on yelp for help because outlets in all of my bathrooms mysteriously lost power in one morning. 123 Electric Service was the 2nd who called me. He navigated me to my garage and discovered it was the GFCI outlet there caused the outage. After resetting, the power was back in all bathroom outlets. I am very grateful for the timely help, and I will recommend them to anyone who looks for electricians.

Just had our panel replaced by Brett, and he's great! More importantly, the quality of work was great.

I sell panels and breakers at a local hardware store, so I'm aware of the material cost, this wasn't bad at all.

Brett did an amazing job of our electrical work. He replaced our panel, added/changed some circuits, and put in an EV charging spot for us. He was very professional, and yet at the same time very chatty and happy to explain what he was doing - my husband loved learning a little from him. Brett was happy to chat about other electrical questions we had for him even if he wasn't working on those problems. Highly recommend him, and will definitely request him again for future electrical work.

I wasn't able to actually use 123, because I am outside of their service area (I'm down in Burien), but even knowing that, Brett was extremely generous with his time on the phone talking through my project and giving me advice. He said, hey, even if I can't do it, I want to make sure you get what you need! I'm so grateful for his help!

I've used a few other electrical services in the area and hands-down 123 Electric Service run by Brett is the best.

Brett is a wonderful electrician! He arrived on time and was a joy to work with. He took the time to explain what he was doing so that I understood, and I even learned a few things. I appreciated that he troubleshooted all of the possible problems so that the entire issue was solved.  123 is reasonably priced and provides honest, quality work. I could not recommend Brett and his company more!

OK, Brett was awesome! We had him replace our electrical panel and the work was clean, efficient, and great quality.  I wanted to take a picture of the panel before he put the cover on because the wire routing looked so good. The whole process was really easy. Brett explained all of the steps ahead of time and even let me know which parts I could easily do myself if I wanted to save some money. He coordinated the work with the city and the electric company in a way that my power was off for the shortest amount of time. As a bonus, Brett was fun to talk with during the project.  I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

This is the second time Bret has done a complicated job at my home. The first time was in 2013 when he wired my new outdoor shed and did a flawless job. Because of his knowledge, the quality and care that he puts into his work, and his professionalism, I didn't hesitate to call him a again a few weeks ago when I needed to have recessed lighting installed in my living room. The wiring in my 1969 vintage house isn't exactly up to 2017 codes so Bret took extra steps to make sure none of my circuits were overloaded and separated them as he found issues. Bret will always be MY electrician. As far as I'm concerned there's no need to call anyone else!

123 Electric and its owner, Brett, provide professional, honest, courteous, affordable service.  He arrives on time and works fast and efficiently.  Doesn't do anything you don't need done.  Makes suggestions for optional things you might want to consider in the future.  Did some minor fixes for free.  
I don't understand the 2-star comment about charging to visit.  Brett came out personally and only charged for the work that was completed.
And I second the earlier feedback that he is a very nice person with whom to deal.  Easy decision who I will  use for future electrical work.

I highly recommend 123 Electric. As others have said, Brett was punctual, courteous, and friendly. He quickly diagnosed that my dead circuit problem was simply two blown GFI's (which more unscrupulous electricians might have turned into a bigger job). He did the work, happily explained some of the idiosyncrasies of how my place was wired, and we had a pleasant conversation the whole time. I found his rates very fair, and quite a bit less that a lot of the big electrical companies around.

Highly recommend Brett and 123 Electric.  For a field that can be somewhat of a commodity, I was looking for good reputation and fair pricing.  Brett far exceeded my expectations.  He fixed two of my light fixtures and completely rewired and grounded my garage which had old electrical wiring and limited lighting.  He's a great guy and a family man.  He even gave my son a balloon and flashlight which absolutely made his day.  He gave me a detailed estimate and didn't charge me extra when he recommended a few modifications that would better suite my children after getting to know the family.  highly recommend Brett for any electrical service you need.

Brett at 123 Electric was great.  He went above and beyond the call of duty on my project, and was punctual, friendly, and professional.  He made provisions for future work that I'm planning to have done.  Would definitely work with him again and recommend 123 Electric.

The first time Brett was to come out to look at some electrical problems in my condo I missed our appointment. Being a small business owner myself, I was ashamed to have wasted his time. But Brett came out again (today) and from the very start was affable and professional. Within moments of assessing the work to be done, Brett involved me in the decision making, first educating me respectfully--without exploiting the technical verbiage of his industry, but instead teaching me the fundamentals. He very quickly and expertly found the source of each electrical problem, and provided me options with both short and long term costs likely involved. I felt he was as concerned about the aesthetics of the project, the required maintenance over the years, and my financial bottom line as he would have been if this had been his own home. He won my trust.

But as I sat and worked as Brett completed his work, I noticed him replacing old, worn components that needed updating without even asking me. At one circuit, the fault was my own. I'd never checked that the new bulb that failed to work in the ceiling outlet was simply broken. Brett caught this, replaced the bulb without any oblique criticism, instead professionally suggesting in the future I test newly purchased bulbs in other outlets to be sure the problem is a given outlet instead of the bulb.  I was shocked when I looked over the bill to find he hadn't charged for any of the additional work he'd done--work that made the quality of my life significantly better. I'd always been trepidatious about service professionals entering my home, but Brett from the beginning when he volunteered to remove his work boots, to the last thing he did in my home--sweeping up stray fragments from his work--treated my home with dignity.
