I have used them for multiple rental properties I own. They show when they say they will. The jobs have all been done efficiently and their prices are extremely fair.

After reading many reviews I decided to use Don's Plumbing Repair Services and I couldn't have been happier! Don gave me a quote based on what I told him over the phone. He called me when he was on his way and arrived promptly with his assistant. He repaired my clogged kitchen sink drains and had the disposal working again. He actually charged me about $50 less than the quote he gave me because it wasn't as involved as it could have been. I was ecstatic and he also helped with a slow draining bathroom sink that has been a problem for a long time. It's great to support smaller local businesses and his company is a smaller one than some of the mega plumbing companies in the area. I highly recommend Don and will sing his praises to all my friends!  Give him a call and you won't be sorry.

They were delayed getting here because of another job but they called when they were in route. The young man came in and was out in the time frame promised. The price was great and he cleaned up after himself. I hope to call tham back for some other items that need attention.

I finally decided that a professional was needed when the pliers I used to turn off the shower each morning  was starting to get on my last nerve.  Thanks to YELP I found Don's Plumbing.  After a few missed connections he arrived, surveyed the mayhem, gave me a quote and a scheduled date.  After discussing my options I decided to not only change the fixtures in tub and sink but switch out toilet in second bathroom.  Me being the HGTV handy woman required that he provide specific measurements and he even told me which brands to buy (based on price points and quality). Fast forward to day of appointment, he arrives on schedule only to advise my son that he was ill, on his way to the doctor but wanted to reschedule.  Talk about the personal touch!  He then called me to let me know that he had taken a look at my purchases and would be there two days later to complete the work.  Impressive work in both bathroom and will definitely be my go to plumber from now on.

I'm writing this review as I wait for my bubble bath!

I recently had a plumbing issue that needed immediate attention. Within two hours of me calling, Don was at my house taking care of the problem.

I liked his responsiveness and his professionalism. He had my leaking toilet fixed within twenty minutes and didn't charge me up the wazoo.

I will gladly call him again when I need him.

I had a leak and a huge water bill. After wasting my time with another plumber I called Don. He went to the house the next day and evaluated the problem, since it was a bigger job than expected he scheduled to come back on Saturday. Called with an emergency leak on a Saturday morning.  They were in the middle of another job, but stayed in constant contact with me until they could get to my home.  Found the problem quickly and repaired it.  Also much cheaper than the other plumber I called to take a look at the problem.  I found them on Angie's list and I'm so glad I did! I will forever call them with my plumbing issues!

Don and his team were fantastic!  Thanks to YouTube, I thought I could make a repair to a leaky shower.  Of course I made the problem much worse.  Don was very responsive on a Saturday morning, came out to take a look, and scheduled to come back the following Tuesday for the repair.  They worked quickly and neatly, all while being supervised by my 6 year old!

On a Friday night, our kitchen sink was backed up. I took apart all of the pipes underneath the sink and snaked as far as I could, to no avail. Saturday morning, I reached out to have one of the big name plumbing companies come out but they said that they'd keep me posted on if someone could come out that day. I didn't feel like being stuck in the house all day so I searched a little more and gave Don a call after seeing all of his great reviews. I'm glad I did. When he answered, he said that he was finishing up a job and could be over in less than 30 minutes. He gave me a quote over the phone that was very fair. When he arrived, he was friendly and answered all of my questions. Don finished the repair in less than an hour and our kitchen sink was good to go. I highly recommend Don's Plumbing and Repair and will most definitely be calling him if we have any other plumbing needs. Thanks again for the great service!

Don and his nephew provide honest work at fair prices.  They were easy to communicate with and I would certainly utilize their services in the future.

About a month after we had Don out, our drains backed up again. He was (very understandably) out of town. We asked him to give us a call whenever he came back because we were unable to use our plumbing, but we didn't hear from him. We ended up having to call someone else to fix the problem again.

We spent a week calling plumbers trying to get quotes on a new sink/faucet installation but Don was the only one willing to stop by in person at no extra cost.  It may seem small but to me that's one of the things that differentiates the good guys and the companies trying to make you feel obligated to use them.  Working with them was completely hassle free and he seems like a very down to earth/reasonable person who isn't just trying to rip you off.  Everything turned out great and we will definitely be using them in the future!

Fabulous service! Don's Plumbing was quick to respond and did a wonderful job installing my new sink, disposal, fridge and dishwasher. My hot water heater blew and flooded everywhere but Don's Plumbing came to my rescue installing a new one!  They were very polite and friendly. I've used other plumbers in the past and been overcharged but Don's has great prices and provided exceptional service!!

Don and Shawn did a great job installing my new water heater!  They were easy to schedule, and always responded quickly to my messages.  Left a clean worksite and did a very thorough job.

If only I could give them 10 stars!!!  Don and crew were timely, polite, professional, and very nice to my dog!  The clogged main line was fixed in about a half hour, at a  price that was about 1/3 what I expected after having dealt with Roto Router last time.  Don is my new go to plumber!  First time I ever hired someone based solely on Yelp reviews and it worked out better than I even could have hoped!

Don's plumbing is on time- I wasn't given a range of time to wait, easy to talk to and the price is comparable or less compared to other businesses with the same work. Detailed oriented and they cleaned the work area. Will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

Unfortunately I had the experience of needing plumbing work done due to my water heater leaking out water all over the floor. We called Dons plumbing on a Thursday night, scheduled appointment for Monday morning. I had a gut feeling I would need a new water heater as mine was quite old but held on for a long time. They told me my water heater made it 28 years which is quite impressive as now they have a life expectancy of 10 years on average. On the day of the appointment they arrived on time and quickly diagnosed. They picked up my new water heater, installed & answered my questions regarding the merchandise. They were courteous, professional & honest and I would recommend & use them again in the future if needed.

I highly recommend Don's Plumbing, even though we have not actually used the company's services, technically. Let me explain. I called Don's Plumbing for help with what I thought was a leaky master shower. I could see stains on the ceiling of the kitchen and right above that is my master bathroom. Don and his nephew, Kendo, came by and examined the situation and told me it wasn't actually a plumbing problem, that it was a problem with some broken tiles that caused water to gather and end up creating the stain in question. No charge for that. They were kind, courteous and extremely helpful. I appreciate their honesty. They weren't looking to take advantage of someone who has zero knowledge of plumbing. When I do have an actual plumbing problem, I will be calling Don's Plumbing for sure.

My hot water heater gave out and I called around for estimates.  Don's estimate was two to three times less expensive than some other companies for comparable service and equipment, and he was able to make an appointment within 48 hours!  He even scheduled my install for a Saturday, which was awesome.  

He arrived promptly with his crew and knocked out the entire removal and subsequent installation in less than 5 hours, which was no easy feat because my water heater is in the attic and is only accessible with a ladder.  When we were getting estimates, we told one company about the attic and they simply said they couldn't help us!  Once the job was done, I paid the exact price we had agreed upon.  There was zero mess, and I had hot running water before they even left the driveway.

Don's Plumbing is professional, courteous, honest and fair, and I'll definitely be calling him for my future plumbing needs.

These guys were so great to deal with.  They were quick to reply to my issue and came out soon after.  They could have done an easy/quick repair but instead did a thorough fix that would last even though it meant they had to go to the store to get parts and return.  They were polite and respectful from the minute they came into my home.  Reasonably priced as well.  Truly great company!

When I faced my most recent plumbing hiccup I decided to rely on Yelp to direct me to a more quality plumber vs the company who had the most advertisements running at the time. That hunch proved correct. The appt was confirmed within 24hrs (thank goodness because I was panicking). I also received a courtesy call they were en route to my home. Once they arrived 15 mins later, I was prompted for another explanation of what the issue was. They worked quietly and without interruption until it was repaired. No upsell (home is older & plumbing is dated) secondary calls for missing parts or return trips necessary; the work was completed in a timely manner and the issue fully resolved.

Leaky shower and the guys came over the next day, just like I wanted. They replaced a part and the cost was good. However, the problem was not fixed. The shower leaked just like before. I called the next morning and they came right out, changed some parts and so far the leak is gone.

Had a pipe break and after calling numerous plumbers who didn't bother to call me back I googled and found Don's Plumbing. He came, found the leak (it was in a wall), fixed the broken valve connection and his fee was so very reasonable I had him come back to install a new garbage disposal & fix a running toilet. Highly recommend this company. Top notch !

Don's plumbing is by far the best team of plumbers I've dealt with while living in Va beach. Don and his team were prompt in returning my call compared to several other companies I called concerning my issue of leaky shower on the second floor. This was causing secondary damage to my first floor kitchen. They came in evaluated the issue; then returned the next day and fixed my leaking shower pipes completely. Great job!

Don's Plumbing is awesome!! Not only do they respond & schedule quickly, they are super nice.  

Recently a slow drip under my kitchen sink became an emergency.  Near bedtime on the weekend, I heard a rushing noise under the sink.  Lots of towels, along with a large bowl to catch any water that might drip, made me feel relatively safe.  But by morning the rushing noise could be heard coming down the steps.  The towels were soaked & there was water on the floor.  The slow drip was now a near flood.  The immediate solution was turning off the water valves to the sink and dishwasher & cleaning up the mess.

On Monday morning, hearing the drip had progressed, Don said he would send someone right over.  And he did!  Kendall was pleasant & knowledgeable.  The problem was twofold:  the mid 80s era Quest shut off valves & the faucet itself.  He had the valves in the truck but went out of his way to go out & purchase a faucet & sprayer that would fit the holes in my sink.  Thanks Kendall!  All was well.

Believe it or not, the next day the Quest valve to my vanity toilet failed.  I knew it was the shut off valve because it turned so easily.  Don & Kendall both came the next day & verified my diagnosis.  After they replaced the valve, Don put the stamp of approval on a new toilet that I wanted for the vanity.  It's being delivered Sunday.  Don & Kendall are coming Monday to install it.

Don came in this morning installed my son bathroom vanity  and plumbing under the sink.
He is reliable , punctual, friendly and fast in his work . I will definitely call him again in the future . His price was reasonable.

Had leaking water pipe in crawl space. Called Don's Plumbing - they came same day and had it fixed in 30 minutes.  Very personable and professional - with reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding service. I called yesterday and he was able to made it for a regularly scheduled appointment today. I'm sure if I wanted an emergency appointment they would have come out yesterday. Don and his assistant were very friendly, courteous and professional. The price for work was reasonable. I will definitely go with Don again if I need plumbing work done.
