Professional Plumbing

Professional Plumbing completed the installation of a whole new water mainline yesterday, March 9, 2023.  This is our 33rd year at this location and I  repaired the main line 3 years ago when the detected leak location was relatively easy to get to.  Not so this time, as the leak was detected under a 6 slab of concrete at the front entrance to the house.  Rather than repair a 45-year-old water line again, I decided to go all in and replace it from the meter, to the house, a run of about100'.

To start the process, I sent out requests for bids as well and asked members of our HOA for recommendations.  Shane and Professional Plumbing was one of the companies that came highly recommended.  On top of that, Shane was the most responsive and gave a very detailed quote, describing how the job was to be done, the materials to be used and gave me a couple suggestions for improving the current system.

Forwarning:   Replacing a mainline is not an inexpensive proposition!  However, the quote I got from Professional Plumbing  was not only the best one I rec'd, it was also the most detailed and presented in a professional and timely manner.  

Professional Plumbing showed up when they said they would and completed the job with absolutely no disruption to our daily routine...other than having to shut the old main line down while they tied in the new one, but we expected that to happen and planned accordingly.

Every person on that job was a delight to have around.  None of them ever complained about having this homeowner looking over their shoulder.  In fact, Shane encouraged my many questions and was more than happy to explain all the awesome equipment they were using.   The entire process was well orchestrated.

When Professional Plumbing was done with the job, Shane took the time to walk me through everything they had done, where all the shut off's were located and where the additional shut off's were added.  And, they replaced all the old gate valves and put in very nice quarter-turn ball valves!   They even put an in-line shut-off going to an outside hose bib so I could easily winterize it.  

All the holes and trenches were backfilled and smoothed neatly; you would hardly know they were even here.

I have had the opportunity to work with many, builders, electricians, plumbers, fencing companies, painters and installers over the years.  I would have to say that Professional Plumbing is absolutely top-notch.  Not only does Shane present himself well, but actually takes a lot of pride in the work he and his crew does.   Shane is not shy about getting down in the trenches with his co-workers either.  It sounded like they all enjoyed working together.   From my observation, when they go to work, they put their heads down and go at it.

We recently moved our laundry room from the garage to a closet that we wanted to be converted inside our house. This was an involved project that required running water lines for washer and laundry sink + running drain for washer and for sink. Shane also did the trim plumbing for us once the sink and counter were installed.

Additionally, he did a similar job in our master bath where he swapped out some leaking waterlines for new Uponor Pex, reworked the drain, and roughed+ trimmed out the master sink.

We're very pleased with the work that Shane did. He is kind and dedicated in his craft. He uses quality materials and gets things done. While we did run into a couple snags along the way, Shane was always responsive and quick to make things right. This included coming over to do work on a toilet which had ended up being a completely separate issue... on Thanksgiving day!

We wouldn't have any hesitation to bring any plumbing project to Shane in the future.

We had Shane do a water heater replacement for us, he was professional and very responsive. He was able to get us in next day and get our unit replaced as well as fix a few issues that were not up to code that we were unaware of. He did a fantastic job and his prices were very reasonable. We will definitely call Shane again with any plumbing issues!

We sent out a bid for the replacement of our outdoor water line between the house and meter due to a leak. We didn't know where it was, just that it was outside. Shane reached out immediately, showed up the next day with a more than reasonable quote, and got the whole job done in one day later in the werk.

Him and his crew were professional, wore protective gear, and made sure to explain all the changes. We modernized the outdoor plumbing, and once the new pipe was drilled through and connected, the water leak module stopped spinning, and we were all set. The water company was also here and remarked at how good of a hookup Shane and his crew did in the house.

Certainly not the easiest job, having to break through concrete in the garage, but we are ecstatic with the work and communication we received from Shane and his crew. Highly recommend to anyone for their plumbing needs.

I called for help with what was initially a sink drain blockage, but turned into a leak when I tried to fix it myself.

Shane was responsive during scheduling. He came over and was able to quickly diagnose the leak. He was able to fix the blockage and the leak, and explained to me the reason behind it and some more long term solutions I could try in the future.

The pricing seemed reasonable given the time, expertise, tools needed for the job, and result.

Did not leave a mess when he left.

I had a basement floor drain that was overflowing on a heavy rainy day.  I had another firm provide an opinion previously, who had advised upsizing the pipe ($$$).  I sought a second opinion from Shane.  Upon arrival, Shane removed the clean-out cap in the drain and power-snaked  the drain line several times, clearing the blockages.  The drain line now appears open and flowing.

Shane came through the ice storm to fix our burst pipes and we have water again!! Xmas miracle

Shane is the best! Easy to talk to and very relatable. He came out quickly and installed a new toilet in one of our bathrooms and also cleared the sink drain pipe in another bathroom. Shane came out within two hours of us reaching out to jet out our clogged line that had backed up into our laundry room. He was respectful and courteous, walking us through step by step what he was doing and keeping the area around the interior clean-out. I was doing a load of laundry and running the dishwasher at the same time and water started to bubble up in my shower, bath tub and toilet. As you can imagine I panicked?! I have found it rare that any business has such an impressive history. I called at around 8:00P and Shane arrived at my house within the hour, just as he said he would. He was quickly able to troubleshoot my issue and determined that I had a main drain break. He walked me through every step of the way and showed me the blockage / break via his camera system. The solution was very involved and required all new pipes and fittings under the house. It was a big job. Shane's communication was outstanding. He was easily available via phone and text. He kept me informed every step of the way and was very transparent throughout the entire job. I was very impressed by Shane's professionalism and direct communication. We had old parts in our toilet that quit after 27 years.  We called Shane late in the day and he promised to come out and take care of us the next morning.  Shane's enthusiastic attitude about his work put us at ease.  He has excellent communication and had our toilet working as good as new in no time.  We highly recommend Shane for everyone's plumbing needs.

We booked Professional Plumbing after we discovered a leaky pipe in our crawlspace. The leaky pipe happened at an inconvenient time and the owner was able to meet us quickly. We received the bid on the same day.

New plumbing is not the most glamorous home update, but my partner and I feel good about our experience with Professional Plumbing. Shane and his team did an excellent job explaining what we needed to replace, why we needed to replace it, and the process was very transparent and easy to understand.

As young(ish) homeowners, I think we look like fresh meat to most of the contractors that have sent us bids for our other various home update projects (window replacement, interior/exterior paint, drywall, electrical, landscaping), but Shane treated us fairly. He was respectful and mindful of our budget. I did not feel like I was listening to a sales pitch. There were not any hidden fees or changes in the game plan after the project started. We feel confident that we recieved a fair deal and a fair price. We recieved bids from multiple plumbers.

I want to add that all of the employees that I interacted with during the project were extremely professional. I work from home and I felt comfortable having these guys around all day. Both employees (Michael and Zack) were friendly and I could tell they were working hard. They kept the conversations between employees work related and it was not disruptive to my work day. The crew followed Covid safety procedures.

To sum it up in one sentence --- We are happy with our project and would reccomend Professional Plumbing to a friend or family member.

I called Shane for advice about my water heater, he was quick to respond, and helped me figure out what I needed to know. I'll be hiring him to relocate my gas line.

Tl;dr: Shane completed a very difficult toilet installation without ever losing his great attitude. He's unstoppable!

I contacted him to replace a rear-outlet, low-efficiency toilet in the master bath of my condo unit with a high-efficiency unit. Rear outlet toilets are not very common and notoriously difficult to replace, which is probably why the old toilet was from the original mid-90s construction.

Shane managed to figure out the exact toilet I needed by referencing some pictures I sent. He went with the pressure-assist model, which provides a much more reliable and faster flush in high-rise buildings like mine. The rough-in of the model he bought precisely matched the old toilet.

The installation was indeed difficult -- the job ended up taking about 3+ hours -- but Shane never flagged or seemed discouraged, and he never gave up. Even though the rough-ins were the same, the upper screws were slightly too low and the floor screws slightly too short (and not very secure looking anyway), but Shane managed to get the new toilet installed into the wall and glued it to the floor with strong silicone glue to keep it secure.

He maintained a great attitude throughout and tackled each problem as it came, even when, on top of everything else, the new toilet ended up having a faulty tank. He returned the next day with and installed a new tank which worked perfectly.

It's clear he works hard to do his best for his clients. Once the install was finished, he tidied up and took away the boxes and other packing trash, as well as the old toilet. His rate is reasonable, and he more than earned it!

As my first experience having to call a plumber, I must say, I can't believe how easy Shane made this! He sent me a message before I even woke up for the day, asking for details. He was able to provide a quote based on additional detail and pictures I texted him. Then he was able to squeeze in my appointment that morning! Showed up to the house with a smile and ready to tackle the problem. Shane's energy was great - funny, honest, trustworthy, easy-going. The total bill was easy to digest, which is another plus. He's got a lifelong customer over here!

Shane is such an excellent person to work with. Through the process he smoothed out the bumps and also did what he could to keep costs more than reasonable. He was professional every bit of the way. We have had him back to the house for several small jobs and he always comes as soon as he can fit it in to his schedule even at personal cost to himself. I wish more professional people had his attitude and work ethic.

I needed some faucet plumbing moved to accommodate the structure of my new vanity (which unfortunately had drawers and whatnot right where the old plumbing would have hit).

He was able to come out to give me a quote the day I contacted him (though my schedule wasn't as flexible so I actually had him come out a couple days later) and was able to come and do the work the very next day.  His work was quick and clean and water tight, and he was very friendly. :)  Price was exactly as quoted.

I probably won't stress as much next time knowing I can call Shane.

He's very professional (hence the name) and was also very upfront about both cost and schedule, which I really appreciated.

Then when it came to the actual work, he knew exactly what to do and talked me through the whys and hows.

Not only will Shane be my go-to plumber to call, but I'll also refer him to anyone who asks me.

Our house apparently had a bunch of issues we were lucky enough to avoid confronting for the first several years living in it, but the heavy December and early January rainstorms changed that. Christmas week, a major rainstorm flooded my basement. I called Shane and he responded within a few minutes, and was there within the hour. He got to work quickly diagnosing the problem (a poorly placed, low quality pipe) -- all in the dark, with rain coming down that soon turned to snow. He was friendly and accommodating, and even helped my parents pull out of a ditch their car had slid into when it started snowing. Despite it being a holiday week, he and his team were back within a few days to fix the problem.

Much to our dismay, our basement flooded again the following week. This time, water was coming from a different source. I called Shane late at night (well past a polite time) and he again was friendly and receptive. He came right out and confirmed that there was a different issue causing this flood (having to do with the slope of the ground). Again, he and his team were back at our house within a few days.

When the third massive rainstorm of the month hit, we were spared thanks to the good work Shane and his team did. My sister, on the other hand, wasn't. Her basement flooded this time, and I referred her to Shane. She had a similar experience: he responded and showed up immediately, fixed the plumbing malfunction, and was a pleasure to work with.

We have a deep freeze in the PNW and I suspected the faucet in the front yard had frozen and potentially burst. I contacted Professional Plumbers and was asked to send pictures of the faucet. I did and was told don't worry about it and to just wait and see what happened once it thawed. I asked for a phone call back as I had some questions and was told they would call me back in 5 minutes. I never got a phone call. I texted again and asked my questions and no response. I called a different plumber and they came out. The hose bib had frozen and split and I had I waited for everything to thaw, it would have been a bad situation.

We returned from vacation to a cracked waterpipe in our crawl space.  We called several plumbers but we decided to go with Professional due to their reviews on varous sites.  I now see why they received so many 5 star reviews.  They responded quickly, and even though we were out of their service area, were willing to come out.  Ammon was the plumber who responded and was amazing.  He was friendly, professional, and very informative.  Ammon was very respectful to the kids, and was a pleasure to talk to.

They did a great job replacing my ancient water heater. They were very responsive and worked through my unique issues all while being a great value.

My husband and I woke up to noticing puddles in both our downstairs bathroom and coming from the floor drain in the downstairs laundry room.   Having only literally in the last 2 weeks become first time home owners had a oh no...not good...oh crap (luckily only figuratively not literally at this point) moment.  We called up Professional Plumbing and Shane picked right up.  He was able to come over in a couple of hours.  Shane and his entire team were not only professional, but went the extra mile to include us in the entire process.  My husband and I REALLY appreciated this.  He took the time to explain exactly what he saw (showing us the camera scope in real-time).  Fast forward - this awesome team found the sewage pipe break, fixed it, and they even (for good measure going into the winter) cleaned our catch basin.  The entire time we felt like a priority.  Shane was so great at communicating - which I value very highly.  Not just with the process but with arrival times, costs, everything.  This company is ran and staffed by people who not only know their stuff but really care about the customer experience.  He explained future options that would be great to take care of at a later date (installing a sewer liner  into our remaining late 50's concrete pipe run).  No pressure, just pure willingness to discuss the best options to avoid future issues and invest the responsible care for our sewage line.  Shane was also willing to look at our current water heater situation - he provided his recommendation while again not pushing anything on us - but great advise moving forward.  I highly recommend Shane and Professional Plumbing.  Although we hope we never have to call him again (lol) the minute we need plumbing work - we know exactly who to call.

I've had anxiety before about finding the right plumber to address plumbing issues in my house. I'm so glad I found Shane at Professional Plumbing. He is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I greatly appreciate that he took the time to show me the root cause of my toilet leak and explained how he was going to fix it. I am also grateful he worked with a mask on and shoe covers the whole time, because I've had a plumber who came out during the pandemic and did not do the same. Shane is very thorough and reliable. Shane is a life saver!  I have only one bathroom, so when toilet backed up from who-knows-where in the pipeline, I really needed quick attention to the problem. I called Shane in the evening. He picked up the phone right away and said he could be there first thing in the morning (my choice not to do emergency call  that night). I came home from a long day to a shower drain overflowing with kitchen waste and flooding the bathroom. Drain cleaners failed, plunging failed, and after calling ten places in the area who either didn't answer, weren't available, or couldn't show up until next week, these guys took the time to answer my call (On a Saturday, no less) in the middle of another, bigger job, and take care of the immediate problem, as well leave me with their professional opinion on how to prevent further issues. Shane is the utmost professional and takes great pride in his work and making sure his customers get what they need. He's extremely reasonable, honest, transparent in his though process, flexible, organized, and detailed-oriented. Shane and team are awesome. After our electrician struck a water pipe with his drill, I came across Shane's contact info and he answered immediately and assured me he could swing by and fix our issue. Not only did he fix the issue quickly (less than 20 minutes to replace the pipe), he did a great job of explaining what he was doing and how it works. While he was here, I also took the opportunity to ask him about a different (non-emergent) plumbing issue and he was super helpful explaining how I could go about trying to resolve it myself (and save some $$$). Shane with Professional Plumbing just left my condo- he did a great job! I had a semi-emergency situation with a broken valve behind the toilet (forcing water shutoff). Shane was able to show up within hours, at a fair pre-determined rate. Fast, professional, courteous, check, check, check.

Once he was done he even helped my roommate finish installing the hot water line he was trying to run from the sink. Shane wasn't charging me by the hour, he was just willing to help!

As always seems to be the case, we had a plumbing emergency arise on a Saturday. We contacted Shane at Professional Plumbing and he was able to come assist within a few hours. He thoroughly explored our issue, explained our options, and repaired/replaced the needed equipment all within a few short hours. I would highly recommend Shane to friends and family and will call him again should any plumbing needs arise.

Shane installed a new effluent pump in our basement. He was super responsive by text the whole time, talked me through the work, and offered ideas for repair work near the pump (not plumbing) that we might want to refer to general contractors. I would work with Shane again in a heartbeat.

I called Professional Plumbing to clear a clogged kitchen drain. Made an appointment for around 3:00 PM. I was there at 2:15pm but he never showed up.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I called on a Friday morning after my bathroom flooded and Shane was at my house by Friday afternoon. Shane was absolutely incredible...he took the time to explain what he was doing, provided a short-term fix (cleared out some deep pipe blockage), and explained what needed to be done to fix the problem long-term. Shane took what was a really terrible situation and turned it into a positive experience. We will be going back to them for any plumbing needs in the future and I really couldn't recommend them more!

Shane responded to our call regarding a leaky air vent in our sink. He was able to diagnose the problem within minutes and direct us to an appliance repair shop that could fix a problem with our dishwasher. He did not do the repair himself (it is an appliance problem and not a plumbing issue). He did not charge for the diagnosis. He was very polite, wore a mask in our house and was, I believe, incredibly kind to diagnose the issue and not charge for his expert opinion. We will call him again if we have another plumbing issue.

NO NEED TO LOOK FOR ANYONE ELSE!! Excellent pricing: Professional Plumbing pricing was the lowest price from all the other three quotes I received. Great communication: Shane told me the whole process step by step and answered every last one of my questions. Speedy service: They came out bright and early Saturday morning to replace my broken main water line. Team got me back up and run in only a few hrs. Everything was put back nicely like they weren't even there. Overall: 5 stars. Best plumbing company I've ever dealt with. Shane really knows what he is doing. I recommend them 100%.

Shane and crew saved the day and our new (but very old) home... twice. Replaced a broken laundry exit line and then replaced a 100 year old galvanized pipe so that my family would have clean water coming into our home. We will definitely call Professional Plumbing for future plumbing repairs. Looking forward to many loads of clean laundry in our future!

Shane has helped us more times than we can count now. He has been very communicative, transparent, and more than fair. He definitely knows what he is doing and has the ability to take something complex (I have no knowledge of plumbing) and breaking it down in a concrete manner. I had an emergency plumbing situation, I called 10 or so plumbers and all of them were busy. I left a message at Professional Plumbing and Shane Called me in about 20 minutes and said he could come and help me . Excellent responsiveness, reasonably priced, and efficient services. The hole I stupidly drilled into the ABS drain pipe was no match for Shane's cool, calm, and quick competence. I'd absolutely call him again for any plumbing need.

Toilet drama. You know when your son practices underwater maneuvers with their GI Joe action figures in your toilet and they get lost in the caves? Or when his matchbox cars run off a cliff in a high speed chase and land in the er bottomless lake?! In both these scenarios the toys just don't come back, but I never knew what exactly happened to them until the day a popUp lid to Campbell's chicken followed the matchbox cars down, down into the beyond. Feel free to judge my parenting, because I'm too busy to worry about a beautiful OOPS in that case, but one the day the toilet had had enough, so Shane and Drew got here quickly, we all laughed together, and they quickly found a reasonable and good-natured solution that didn't cost the college tuition. Great work, responsive, nice team and very professional. They will be my first call next time. A throughly enjoyable experience, and you are both appreciated!

Before I found Professional Plumbing, I hired several plumbing companies who were all rotten. I finally found a reliable company I can count on...Professional Plumbing fixed our plumbing problems...imagine that! We have decided to keep them as our permanent plumber. The owner/plumber explained everything he was doing and got to it and got it done in a very professional manner. I will definitely call Professional Plumbing if I ever have another plumbing need. Shane did an amazing job, he showed up on time. He is very clean, professional, communicative & hardworking. I had clogged sewer on Thanksgiving Day & Shane showed up on time and rescue the day.

Shane was amazing! My tenant had an emergency situation with the bathtub backing up. I contacted Professional Plumbing late in the day on Monday, they were there first thing the very next morning! Extremely professional service with such a positive attitude.  Shane kept in contact with me throughout the day to provide an update on his ETA. He arrived when stated, jumped in to fix the problem (clogged bathtub drain) and was done in 10 minutes!  He was kind to my cat as well - always a plus. First off, Shane seems like a knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly businessperson. I firmly believe that had he completed our job himself, it would've been completed quickly and for a reasonable price. But unfortunately, as soon as Shane left the house, things fell apart. . .
A partner of mine and I bought an investment property as a rental. We've been spending the last 6 weeks replacing the flooring, repainting the interior, replacing the furnace, roof, electrical panel, etc. A longtime colleague of mine was handling the painting, as well as wrangling our various sub-contractors and managing work flow of the various projects. We had a plumber lined up for a couple simple plumbing items (replacing the main gate valve for the water supply, connecting a shower drain and shower head).
Shane responded quickly to my request for a bid and was able to schedule work to be completed the next day, which we were thrilled to hear, since we were on a pretty tight timeline to get the project completed. Having worked with many different plumbers, electricians, and other contractors over the years, I have become accustomed to being billed hourly for work. Typically there's a basic trip fee and of course materials costs, but otherwise work is billed on a per/hour basis. I've had plumbers charge me as little as $100/hour and as much as $150/hour. We figured our project might be 5-6 hours of work and perhaps $100 in materials. So including the base/trip fee, I expected our total job cost to be perhaps $1000-$1100. . .
Shane arrived on-time with another fellow whose name I've forgotten. Shane was on-site with the other plumber for around 2 hours before leaving the other plumber on site. . . This is when things went horribly wrong.
First off (and I'm not sure if this was Shane's fault or the other plumber's fault), but after Shane left, it was brought to our attention that the existing P-trap for the shower drain was installed upside-down and would have to be replaced. Fair enough. An unexpected item to add to the project and an additional cost we had no problem incurring. The problem was that Shane and his rig, with all his parts and gear had already left. Shane's plumber ended up needing to make a trip to Home Depot to pick up a basic part that ANY plumber should have on hand. . . Shortly after returning with the part he needed, I he realized that he needed ANOTHER part from Home Depot. This time a 90-degree PVC stub (one of the most common plumbing components that exists). Shane's plumber not only didn't have a proper work van with materials; he didn't have a work vehicle at all. He had a beat-up Mazda. He also made a mess of our bathroom and didn't clean up after himself. Our site-manager was a hair's breath away from kicking him off the jobsite, but by that point it was too late to pull the plug on the project (pun intended).
Long story short, after making multiple trips to Home Depot, Shane's plumber was finally finished, but not before making a mess of our bathroom and working well into the evening, forcing my site manager to stay on-site 2 hours into the evening.
When Shane followed up the next day, he was apologetic that things didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped it would and accordingly, said he was giving us a discount off of the normal rates for the work they completed, however, his plumber still needs to get paid. . . By my site manager's count, between Shane and his plumber, there were plumbers on site for a grand total of perhaps at most 7.5 man hours. The total materials used could not have costed more than $100 (maybe $150 if they were marking up the materials by 50%).
So imagine my surprise when Shane told me he was ONLY charging us $1,877 for the job!
Again, I still believe that if Shane had completed all the work himself, he would've been in and out in 5-6 hours, would've had all necessary materials on-site, and my site-manager wouldn't have had to stay at the property into the evening. Even if he charged us $200/hour for labor, after materials and taxes, I think $1300-$1400 would've been reasonable. But considering the hassle and mess, getting hit for nearly $1900 while being told our job was being discounted because of what a debacle it was felt like a slap in the face and an insult to my intelligence.
I have to believe that Shane is trying to expand his business too quickly. I see all of the 5-star reviews Professional Plumbing and I have no doubt those reviews are well-deserved. In fact, I would not hesitate to hire Professional Plumbing again, but ONLY with the explicit understanding that Shane would be completing ALL work himself. Calling his hired help a Professional plumber is sadly (and ironically) grossly inaccurate.

Shane and Drew showed up on one days notice and installed: a kitchen sink, garbage disposal, strainer, traps, and faucet. They were professional, experienced, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, timely and good communicators. I'd definitely recommend them and will use them again. A great customer experience. They also wore masks and gloves, which I appreciated due to the virus.

Had a water leak at my rental and it was few days before the renters noticed the leak. I was freaking out and nobody was ready to come at the short notice. Shane responded quickly and was able to accommodate the very same day. He was professional, courteous and told me that the problem is with supply line. Seeing that I was willing to get my hands dirty, he suggested that it would be cheaper if I do it myself or he can repair. He confirmed where the leak was and we decided to cap the supply line. He charged for the diagnostics and putting the cap and saved few hundred dollars for me.

Would recommend anytime.

We had a clogged pipe that backed up and flooded our floor the night before New Years Eve. Shane picked up when I called after hours, and happened to be in our neighborhood. He stopped by that evening on short notice, fixed our clogged pipe and was on his way, leaving me (and my house full of visiting relatives) extremely happy. Approachable and very easy to work with. Knows what he's doing and cleans up afterwards. Highly recommend!

Shane is awesome! He was able to detect and resolve an issue with one of our toilets that was incorrectly installed two years ago by a contractor. He simply explained with great detail of what the problem was and was then able to fix it in just 30 minutes! Highly recommend his service to anyone in need of immediate toilet attention!

I highly recommend Shane at Professional Plumbing for all your plumbing needs! 2 weeks after purchasing a remodeled home, our sewer pipe collapsed, backed up, and then flooded out utility room. Shane came to our rescue and helped make a super stressful situation as easy as possible for us. He spent the better part of 3 days digging 10 feet down in our yard, replacing a good 8 feet of piping and shot a liner about 20 feet back towards the house effectively giving us a brand new sewer pipe from the home to the city line. Shane is very trustworthy, responsive, and worked with us on the pricing. He educated us thru each step he took to get the job done, so we even learned a great deal from Shane in the process. He did such a great job, I asked him to come back and optimize the piping (water and gas) in our utility room, which he knocked out in a day. Shane is such a great guy, and we consider him a friend and our plumber for life.

Shane was great - he was timely and communicative. We called him to snake our drain. It was a flat rate, so we knew what it was going to cost. I scheduled an appointment online, which was super easy, and then Shane was in communication with me to confirm the appointment and to let me know when he was on his way. When he was done, he went through the work he did and made sure I checked to make sure everything was working as I expected. Great experience!

Great job! I had an urgent request for plumbing inspection on weekend and had little hope that I could find anyone. But, Professional Plumbing came to my rescue within 2 hours of contact and performed very professional inspection and found a section of broken pipe that could cost me quite some money to fix after I take over the property. Thanks to his valuable information and suggestion, i was able to negotiate with the seller to cover some of the repair cost. Highly recommended!

We had a major plumbing problem right before leaving town on a scheduled vacation and Shane saved us from the brink of disaster in the nick of time.  He responded quickly and agreed to come out on a weekend at no extra cost whereas other companies were charging a weekend dispatch fee.  Our problem was fairly complex and Shane did an excellent job of walking us through the diagnosis and repair, explaining each step of the process, and helping us make educated decisions about how to best address the root issue.   His prices were very fair and agreed upon upfront.  On top of that, Shane had a great personality.  He was friendly, upbeat, and incredibly easy to work with.  I really appreciated the fact that his company is individually owned.  He provided very personalized service and obviously values trust and communication with his clients.  I highly recommend Shane for any plumbing needs!

We are new homeowners that had a rocky situation with a previous contractor that had come to us off a referral.  In desperation I turned to yelp and picked off of reviews. Shane shuffled some things to get to us ASAP so we could have a working kitchen again.  I felt really comfortable talking to everyone on his team and appreciated that they talked me through any issues/pricing that came up before we moved forward.  They were patient answering questions about the current work and things that I am wondering about for the future. They redid the to code-yet homeowner DIY-ish quality previous work and then finished out the project for me.  They were totally honest about the pros and cons of leaving it as it and let me make an informed decision about how much to redo. I also had no idea about catch basins and am glad Shane pointed it out and got us set up to take care of them before there was a problem.  Cold calling contractors off yelp is scary.  I am so glad I stumbled upon Shane and Michael.  I will definitely be using them for our bigger remodel project in the future.   I feel really good about the work they did and the connection we've made to take care of our new house for the long term.

I had an urgent plumbing issue (aren't they all?), and I called around trying to find someone who could come out the same day. Shane moved his schedule around to accommodate me and backed his truck up to my house midday. I know enough about plumbing to know that I don't know anything, so he was patient with my explanations of what was going on, and then took me on a tour of my own house, explaining how things work. We investigated, found the location of the blockage, and then he jetted the pipes, which was one of the more revolting yet fascinating sights I've ever witnessed. :) Problem solved.

Shane Martin is the best plumber we have ever had the pleasure to work with. He is organized, professional, friendly, trustworthy, dependable, knowledgeable and truly excellent at what he does. It's rare to find a person in this line of work with such impeccable integrity. Within five minutes, he found the source of a problem we had been dealing with for years. He fixed it quickly, cleanly and took time to educate me and explain what I needed to do to maintain it going forward. I was amazed by his skill, knowledge and how he went above and beyond to do his work with excellence. I would highly recommend Shane to anyone needing a plumber. He's fantastic!

A family member and I decided to give Shane a 2nd chance after he didn't show up on July 9th from 1:00pm-2:30pm because he forgot to put us on his schedule for that day, he was then rescheduled to show up on July 11th from 2:30pm-3:00pm and he was told to call if he was running late. After Shane never showed up or called on July 11th from 2:30pm-3:00pm, Shane said that he could show up at 4:45pm or maybe 5:45pm, however, he didn't specify which time, when he was called at 4:30pm . Shane was told that the times he mentioned wouldn't work out and that we would have to call someone else, and keep in mind this was after he forgot to put us on his schedule and then didn't show up at the specified times, Shane truly was given a 2nd chance. Shane needs to be consistent about remembering to put customers on his calendar, calling as soon as possible about running late, and showing up on the days and times he's scheduled for, It would have been great if things worked out with Shane being given a 2nd chance. Also, so that nothing is left unclear, my previous rating was 5 stars regarding the excellent service Shane provided hooking up a washing machine, the Yelp algorithm listed that review in the not recommended reviews section though, and that's happened to many other reviewer's reviews as well for reasons unknown.

It was about 10:30 PM when I came downstairs to find water gushing out of the back of my basement toilet. Water was filling up the bathroom and the hallway outside and we needed help right away. We posted a note on a neighborhood Facebook group and someone suggested that we reach out to professional plumbing - we are very glad that we did. Shane answered the phone and agreed to come to our house immediately, even though it was very late at night. He quickly diagnosed the issue and got right to work solving the problem- a series of root balls throughout our sewer line, creating multiple blockages and causing water to back up into our bathroom. Not only did he clear all the blockages, he also showed us what he was doing each step of the way so we were well informed. In order to access our sewer without having to remove our toilet and impact our newly remodeled bathroom, Shane found our sewer clean out. It was decades old and the cap was stuck so he cut it open and give us an access panel to make any future work easier. Once the issue was resolved, he told us what we needed to do to address the situation long-term. He stayed until about 1:30 in the morning until the job was done. Shane was polite, professional, very open and transparent, and seemed to legitimately enjoy his craft. Definitely recommend!

We had an emergency situation that needed a quick repair before the city came back to back fill their hydrant work. Not only did he have all needed parts with him, his quote was completely reasonable. I felt comfortable about his expertise immediately..as of course I didn't know much about it. He finished the fix quickly and came same day! We will use him again for sure.
