Our aging, underground, concrete water line failed and water was backing up into our basement. I contacted two plumbers whose bids were far more than we anticipated. A neighbor (who is a realtor) suggested we call Pioneer. Mark looked at the proposals the other two compaines had provided and felt that there was a more efficient way to solve the problem. His bid was considerably less expensive. While we were pleased with the estimate, we wanted assurance that the repair would stand the test of time. Mark took us through his plan, step by step, and gave us confidence that Pioneer's approach was the way to go. His crew was professional, courteous and highly efficient. Even though two deep trenches had to be dug--and a large section of our asphalt driveway had to be saw cut and replaced--the job was completed in less than ten working days. Despite all the earth that had to me moved, Mark and his team left the property exactly as it was before they started the big dig. They even offered to pressure wash the driveway to remove the dirt they couldn't sweep up. We give high marks to Pioneer Plumbing's pricing, workmanship and customer service.

I contacted Pioneer Plumbing as a referral from a local plumbing company. They were able to get to me within the day which was good. I had a leak and problems with my bathtub backing up dirt. He snaked the bathtub and fixed the leak   I had also been having ongoing problems with my toilet, but it was working at the time and was informed that if I could plunge it There was not a need to snake it. Three weeks later, my toilet was backed up I had tried plunging
the plumber came and spent 30 seconds plunging and it was fine charged again $200. Seems there should be a discount for repeat customers, or if a customer needs assistance within the first month.

Pioneer Plumbing installed a PRV in our '77 split level home. I spoke with both Jeremy via phone/text and he was able to give me a quote over the phone after sending pics of home's existing main water line. Shane came over within the expected time window and completed the job within an hour. Pioneer Plumbing was able to beat 3 of the other competitors pricing for the exact job. Hopefully no issues moving forward but if anything occurs I'll be calling Pioneer.

Responsive when our sewer pipe clogged (roots!). Worked with my schedule to respond same-day. Scoped it. Clear picture of options to avoid future issues. Priced it. Did go over their bid but only by a small amount. Worked quietly (we didn't know they were there!) and diligently. Restored the sod. Really pleasant folks both on phone and in person.

We are doing a full house remodel and hired Pioneer Plumbing.  The price was competitive, team knowledgeable and work done right.  When the city told us we had to update our water line Pioneer was easy to work with to expand the scope for a very far additional price.

I would recommend this company and hire them again!

I was charged $345 to have them snake my drain, which included an extra equipment fee!?  they were in my place for less than 15 minutes. Never again.

Mike D. is the best! Being a general contractor and a homeowner, I can honestly say his performance from start to finish far exceeds experience. The many times we've asked for his help he has been highly responsive, personable and really professional.

ADVICE: DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!
I had 2 storm drains that were problematic. My experience with Pioneer's estimator left me feeling shocked.

Pioneer estimated the work on the first  at $3000 + tax to expose a P trap via jackhammer through brick and concrete; unless, once the trap was exposed, it turned out that hydro-jetting would be necessary, in which case, $960+ tax would be added to the bill!   This would have left the brick patio patched with concrete and I probably would have needed to have the house siding painted at still more expense.

Yesterday, I had it cleaned via simple, clean hydro-jet by Washington Rooter for $550 including tax!  WHAT A RELIEF!  All it required was that a thin hose be directed down the side of the downspout and fed through the pipe in the ground with high water pressure.  There was no P trap to be exposed.

For  an additional $3200+ tax, Pioneer was prepared to jack-hammer through my other, concrete patio and redirect water, from the P trap he assumed was under it, to simply soak into the soil of the  hill of my front yard. Even before the staggering cost, the proposed redirection worried me:  Perhaps the added water from my roof would not over-saturate the hill and ground below it, but what if it did?  When I expressed that concern, he proposed an open, 2 ft trench down between the concrete stairs and rockery which would involve cutting away part of the stair concrete.  Yep. $3200+ tax!

Another company had sent an estimator who had offered a far simpler and affordable DYI alternative. Still another estimator was sure the problem  was not in the  ground  at all,  but rather, in the downspout at the gutter level. Since that was just yesterday, I haven't been able to check that out yet.

The HOA for my building hired this company to do plumbing work that was supposed to be fully completed in Sep 2020. It's almost July 2021, and they're still not done.

The slowness is not even the most serious issue. The plumbers have obtained keys to my unit, and they just unlock my door and barge in whenever they want with no notice. This has been happening since last year, and even after repeated written notices to my HOA and telling the plumbers to stop, they still keep doing it.

This is illegal, and random guys I don't know should never be barging in to my unit like they live there. One day, they removed the toilet without asking me if that was ok. Another time, they took the bathroom fan.

Last week after unlocking my door without permission, they lied about what time they were allowed to access my unit - the sign put up by the HOA in the hallway and at the front door said they were allowed to come in between 9am-10am - they unlocked my door and broke into my unit at 1pm.

This behavior is illegal and unacceptable. I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this company.

Called this company based on a referral from another company who specifically recommended their services. Spoke with a very kind person who took my call and who assured me I'd get a response from them ASAP to schedule an appointment. Four days later, no call. Glad I found out how they do business before I gave them any of my money.

Clayton Marquiss and Phil Doss completed a very difficult plumbing job for a future apartment in my basement.  They overcame every obstacle they encountered with skilled knowledge and exceptional work ethics.  They persisted in every difficult task and were courteous, kept me informed, and very positive that they could solve any problem---and they did.  I highly recommend these two plumbers.

I was very pleased with the service we received from Will today. He came to service our kitchen faucet, and ended up just replacing the whole faucet for us. He was knowledgeable, quick, and cared about the work he was doing. He also looked into a few other things while he was here, and made sure our bathroom shut-off valves were working properly. Very professional!

Once you go down the gunky rabbit hole of sewer-land, you can spend a great deal of time learning about your problem, researching potential solutions, getting assessments and recommendations, and then, of course, the bids from various companies. Me, I went through seven different plumbing companies for my job.

All the companies and the independent assessor agreed that we needed to do something about the crack in our 100-year old clay line under the street, and that we shouldn't wait too long. That if it ever got worse, it would be at least $50,000 to fix. Yikes. An in-place liner was the generally agreed-upon answer.

But from there the bids varied dramatically. The lowest was half as much as the highest, and when it comes to sewer, that can be a lot of money.

Mark from Pioneer Plumbing came out to talk to me the day after I contacted him. He graciously and politely went over the problem in detail. Then he did it again with my neighbor with whom I share the line. He even -- without charge -- ran a scope down the line to show me what he was talking about, with a radio locator that helped me understand exactly where things were. He answered all my questions. I ask a lot of questions.

I was impressed.

When Mark's bid came in lower than everyone else's, I knew I'd found my company.

I was out there every day they worked, talking to the folks doing the dig and asking more questions. They were happy to explain, tell me how it was going. They even showed me the in-place liner video, right after it was cured, so I could see what it was I was paying for.

Preventative sewer repair is an odd sort of thing. You pay a lot of money to see... nothing change. Your win condition is... nothing changing. :)

I recommend Pioneer Plumbing. They got me on the schedule fast, got the job done fast. They put back all the plants and dirt they dug up, and very neatly and nicely.

Thanks, guys! Thanks to Mark. Also Mike, Josh, and Luke, and the liner folks as well. All of you were gracious and generous with your time and answers. You've given me just what I wanted for Christmas: fearless flushing. :)

These guys are the best.  We had an emergency back up due to poorly constructed pipes and backup sewage in our basement. I called some of the bigger outfits - one came out and tried to fix it, but was unable to, and came up with one solution that was about 9k and would have made a huge construction mess.

I finally found Pioneer Plumbing through Yelp, and even though they were booked, they came out the next day and found a creative, permanent and non-invasive solution. They did the work that day, we could get back to business, and then as they were booked up solid, came back a week later to fill in the hold for the repaired side-sewer and replaced the concrete sidewalk they had to jack out.

All in all, these guys are so knowledgeable, came out and worked overtime (no charge) on a Friday night to get the problem solved, and were the nicest, most professional guys to boot. All for thousands less than the larger outfits.

Thank you Pioneer Plumbing!!!!  Amazing and thanks to ALL of the guys who came out!

I can highly recommend Pioneer Plumbing in Ballard, to anyone for sewer drain repairs. They prepared a video scope investigation through the sewer drain and uploaded to You Tube for easy access to view. We used the video scope to invite 2 other contractors to send us bid estimates as well. We selected Pioneer Plumbing based on professionalism of crew, equipment they used, and competitive bid price. NO SURPRISES!
The crew showed up on time every consecutive day. I was impressed at the excavation done to prepare for the sewer pipe bursting replacement, the clarity of the bid, the scheduling process, how efficiently the crew worked to replace the 55ft section of pipe and reconnect in about 2 HRS Friday morning (total downtime for household use of water & drainage), and the cleanliness of the job site! City inspection called for on Monday, so Pioneer can then back fill and clean up job site! Couldn't be more pleased!!!

Absolutely the best.  I cannot recommend them more highly.  Imagine a plumbing company inspecting your sewers and telling you that the sewers do NOT need cleaning out for at least another year.  We've had them do a number of jobs for us, and I appreciate their honesty, people skills, and of course their excellent work.  Look no further if you want the best.

Nordstroms has nothing on Pioneer Plumbing! Despite some good plumbing work, pioneer's tech didn't initially solve for my leak: but rather than charge me for the entire visit, Pioneer helped negotiate an equitable solution, showing they care as much about repeat business as they do the one time event.  I want to personally thank one of the owners (Steve) for his professionalism and kindness in working with me. He's an excellent person and I highly recommend referencing Steve when you call Pioneer for your next plumbing repair. He's good people!  ;-)

I had a plumbing emergency at work where I needed someone asap. The person on the phone noticed the urgency for a small business to be functioning and squeezed me in right the next morning. Will arrived on time and was super professional. he was ready with all his tools and didnt waste a minute. He was able to fix the issue quickly and left me with some great information about my plumbing system and where my water shutdown is etc. Thank you Will for your big smile and great service. This was an amazing way to start my day.

About a month ago, during one of the many recent sustained Seattle downpours, our basement bathroom began flooding.  Of course it was 5:00 at night and it may have been a Friday.  I called around to a couple places to see if they could help and all of them said earliest was Monday.  We couldn't have our basement backing up all weekend since we couldn't keep up with our shop vac and all the toilets in the house drained into that one pipe.  Another plumber we called and actually booked for Monday said if we were in dire straights, we should call Pioneer; specifically the owner's son (I think).  We did so and said we were second in line.  He followed up later advising he could be at our house at 9:00 pm...on a Friday!!  When he arrived, he quickly got to work with his power auger as I held the flashlight over the cleanout in the pouring rain.  He got the line clear and then scoped it to be sure it was flowing ok.  He was very nice, explained what we were looking at during the scoping and did a very thorough job.  We knew this was going to be an expensive call, but when you have water intrusion into the house; cost quickly goes out the window.  It ended up being quite reasonable given that it was an after hours overtime call and he ran both the power auger and the sewer scope.  Couldn't have asked for better service and the price was well worth the piece of mind in getting the problem solved.

What an amazing experience! A different plumber did emergency service for us, charged us a fortune for the job, then discovered a second urgent issue for which we were quoted well over $10K to fix (even more than the initial emergency fix). We called Pioneer for a second opinion, and immediately we knew they were much more attentive. Mark asked us questions about our situation, not just about our house and plumbing but also about our family's needs. He came over soon after to take a look, asked questions about our family's plans, determined the issue was certainly not urgent (and maybe not much of an issue at all), and ultimately presented us with clear options and the trade-offs that would come with each. Pioneer could have played along, offered a lower bid, and taken us for thousands of dollars, but they played it honestly and saved us a truly huge amount of money. In fact, they didn't even charge for the consultation, even after we offered to pay them for their time and help. It couldn't have been a better experience.

This company has terrible customer service.

I called them because they were listed on my HOA. My heater was blowing cold heat so I asked if they could take a look. On the phone, I asked what the charge would be to come out. The man on the phone said It depends on what needs fixing. I asked if he could maybe give me an estimate so I can get a general idea of how much to pay.

Then he put me on hold and came back on the phone telling me the visit would have no charge. Ok great.

So later that week, a plumber came out to look at my heater. He suspected it was because the heater had some air in it and drained some of the air. He was friendly and professional and finished in about 20 min. I was really satisfied with the company at this point and planned to use them for future plumbing needs.

A week later, I got a call from the main office asking me to verify some information so they could send me a bill.

I was surprised so I asked why I was being charged when I was told there is no charge for the visit.

WOW, the man on the phone (I think his name was Kyle) became very rude. He said, When I do a job, I expect to be paid for it. He then asked, So what do you do for a living? and even threatened, Do you want me to come out and put air back in your heater?

Let me say that I was NOT rude to him on the phone, I did not raise my voice or even accuse him of bad customer service. I explained I was being told different things on the phone before and after the visit. Plus, during the visit, nothing was said about charging me a bill.

I totally understand businesses need to charge for fixing something and I believe that if this is the case, it should be COMMUNICATED to the customer. Otherwise, you're not being transparent. By the way, the charge was $120/hour.

After trying to talk to him on the phone, he basically hung up on me. The last words I heard from the receptionist (named Lisa) was, Well, I'm going to send you the bill and I hope you pay it. Good bye.

No one even apologized for miscommunication or admitted they did anything wrong.

As a customer, I feel that I was cheated. If they wanted to charge their customers, they simply need to inform them of the fact. And if they make a mistake, own up to it and maybe work out a payment plan or offer me a discount on future visits or whatever.

To me, their attitude was simply collecting the bill from this one job and not being interested to retain a long-term relationship.

Sorry for the negative review, Pioneer Plumbing but I hope you use this to become better. I was open to working with you again, but I don't think I can trust you after this experience.

After a bad experience with another company in the Seattle area best known for its slogan, Stop Freakin' Call Beacon. I went ahead and contacted Pioneer Plumbing & Sewer for a last minute problem with our water heater.

I'm only giving them four stars because they were late to our appointment and didn't call to let me know which caused me to have to reschedule my day.

On the bright side, they were able to quickly book me and quoted me at a great price. The guy was super friendly, did a good job and explained in detail the work that was done. We felt he had our best interest in mind, so in the end we were very happy.

I'd call them again, for sure.

First off the staff who completed my repairs were TOP NOTCH. Very responsive and helpful. Told me exactly what was going on and were very up front and honest.

I did have an extremely difficult time setting an appointment. Took them weeks to respond back to my email wanting to setup a time after they needed photos to see if they could help with my situation.

Steve has been very helpful and he should be your go to guy. Techs - Dave and Mike were great as well.

The reason for 4 stars is hat my bill was MUCH more than estimated... I was told about 3.5hr and it was 5.5... my bill was $350 more that I had expected.

We had Mark and his team do a re-do of a sewer project that was done poorly by another company about a year ago. Their price was about half what other bigger name companies were charging. They were very thorough and took their time to do the job right. The workers were very friendly and left the work area better than they found it. I would highly recommend Pioneer to anyone looking for sewer work.

We highly recommend Pioneer Plumbing. We used them to replace our sewer line and water line a few years ago, and we just had them replace all of the plumbing in our 100 year old house.  It is wonderful to have good water flow and pressure in the house and we can rest easy knowing that everything has been done well!  My husband and I also enjoyed the experience of working with them. After they gave us the bid and we decided to accept it, they scheduled us within 2 weeks, they showed up on time, provided us with good advice on where shutoff valves should go, and did excellent work. Per our recommendation, our neighbors also just hired them to do some major plumbing work and are highly satisfied. Will and Cedar are excellent workers and we enjoyed getting to know them.

The whole team at Pioneer Plumbing went above and beyond to take care of my family. They were responsive, arrived quickly, provided estimates same day, and performed quality work. Their pricing is extremely fair. They were great at explaining the issues and prioritizing the work for us in a way that allowed us to understand what was immediate versus could be planned and saved for. I could tell that everyone on their team cared and they treated me, my family, and my dogs with utmost professionalism and respect. As someone that has worked in and around the construction industry for quite some time, I was extremely impressed with the company. I would highly recommend them!

These plumbers are some of my most favorite humans in the world. In a matter of 2hours after calling afterhours they were able to stop a hotwater heater from spilling water onto the floor of one unit and the ceiling of the one below.
Apparently the valve that connects the main water to the tank had failed ontop of the hotwater heater failing. Thank You Pioneer!

If you call Pioneer Plumbing expect to get a run-around and be overcharged.

I called them because my sump pump stopped working and my basement was filling with water. I was pleasantly surprised that somebody could come out that same day. However, they sent somebody with absolutely no resources to fix the problem. He wandered around my basement for 15 minutes jiggling the cord, checking the breaker, and looking at the sump pump before declaring I needed a new pump. No surprise there. Did he have a pump with him? No. But somebody could probably come out the next day to replace it. Fine. I asked how much a sump pump would cost and he said about $100 + labor. Ok. Shortly after he left their dispatch center called to say somebody would be out at 3:30pm the next day with a new pump.

I waited an hour the next day before calling to see if somebody was actually coming. I was told by their dispatch center that, yes, they were on their way. The guy on the phone elaborated that there had been an ordering mix-up between my sump pump and another sump pump job, and that's why they were late. When the guys finally arrived they explained further that the less powerful, and therefore less expensive, pump had been used on a different job. The pump they brought me was waaaay more powerful than what I needed. But, they assured me, I shouldn't be charged the difference. They also said this was a one-man job, and I shouldn't be charged for both of them being there and they apologized for the fact that the guy the day before had been unable to help; they didn't understand why he'd been sent in the first place. In fact, they said a lot about the workings of Pioneer Plumbing.

So, I guess I wasn't surprised when I received the bill for all of this: almost $900. I was charged $300 for the pump, not the ~$100 I was expecting. I was also charged the going rate for the first guy to spend 15 minutes of his time to tell me what I basically already knew ($134/hour). When I called to see which pump I was being charged for I was simply told that he shouldn't have said that it would be around $100. I have no problem paying for a job done and tools needed, but this bill was $300 more than expected, plus time away from a new job without pay for me. They wouldn't budge on any of the bill. The whole experience left me feeling completely taken advantage of and lied to.

Please think twice about calling Pioneer Plumbing and be smarter than I was: insist on them sending somebody equipped to fix the job the first time, and get a quote in writing.

Terrible customer service!  I was recommended to Pioneer by Greenlake Plumbing as I need a pipe burst job for our sewer line and Greenlake doesn't do that work.  I have called twice over the past 10 days and asked for an estimate.  They assured me Jason would call but I've heard nothing.  Why deal with a company that promises something but never delivers, not even for an estimate scheduling?!  That's Doing Business 101, and they failed miserably.

This review is loooong overdue. (Today is the first day I am adding reviews to Yelp.) In January 2019, I was helping my mom get ready for a dr appt and for the first time in 60 yrs her toilets backed up. The timing was horrible.  A free mailer highly rated local Love's Plumbing. When I called LP they listened and kindly advised PIONEER PLUMBING had the equipment for my emergent situation.  They reassured me that I could trust PIONEER PLUMBING. I called PIONEER, explained my mom's circumstances and they actively listened as I desperately explained the predicament. Thank you!! At the end of the day a neighbor took care of my mom and PIONEER PLUMBING sent MIKE DAVIDSON to our literal rescue. I was strictly raised on work ethic, integrity and honesty. MIKE DAVIDSON is the face of all 3 of these characteristics. PIONEER PLUMBING gained a devoted customer that day. MIKE DAVIDSON is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, caring, calming, organized, timely, patient and genuine. After fixing our issue, he provided education on resolving a future issue, which, again, PIONEER PLUMBING resolved. Later in 2019 we had other smaller plumbing issues & MIKE DAVIDSON took care of those, in a heartbeat!! We have a couple more inconvenient issues still pending and PIONEER PLUMBING is our GO TO for all our plumbing issues. It is such a RELIEF to a find a trustworthy and reliable service business. Thank you, MIKE!! Thank you, PIONEER PLUMBING!

Jason came out and fixed a plumbing problem let me know that the real issue was cracked sewer pipe. When the time came to fix it  they fit me in. The gentlemen Joshua and Zach were on time, let me know what was going on,ansered all my questions and were very nice. Considering the circumstances they made it a pleasant experience, I haven't received bill yet .  I will be calling them for any plumbing problems in future and so should you

I'll let you decide:

I have used Pioneer Plumbing a few times over the past year. Usually they provide prompt, effective service. Until last week. I called asking for a plumber to come out and deal with a faucet that was not providing hot water in the kitchen.

They sent someone out, he was unable to repair the faucet on site since we needed a replacement. Understandable, but could you reinstall the old one so that we can use the cold water in the meantime? No, it would be a waste of my time. Just get a new one tonight at Home Depot and I will reinstall tomorrow was the reply. My reply, I am a little concerned given it is the week of Christmas and this faucet is 3 years old that I may not get it, or something else will go wrong - would you please reinstall the old one? Again the reply being, No, really it is a waste of my time - I will just come back tomorrow - it will all be fine.

Later that night in Home Depot - no faucet. I went home and looked online and it could only be ordered from obscure faucet companies since this model is no longer made. I ordered the faucet and sent a message to the plumber that my fear was confirmed, I couldn't get the faucet. No call back to me. I sent another message asking him to come out and install the old faucet. He called back to tell me he had already scheduled someone else in my time slot since, you guessed it, it would be a waste of his time to reinstall the old one. I explained to him that some people found it useful to have a faucet in their kitchen, especially over the holidays, even if it was only providing cold water. His suggestion was to deal with it and use the bathroom faucet. I told him that I would really like him to come out and replace the old faucet, with heavy sighs he finally agreed.

So I am talking to him by phone when he comes out to do the reinstallation and guess what! He can't find the washer that goes with the faucet, tells me I must have lost it and there is nothing he can do. I ask if he can use a different washer or replacement part just for the time being, especially since it is just a crappy off Home Depot brand' (his words, not mine - also good to insult the client purchase!). I reiterate that this was my concern from the beginning - that without him reinstalling it on the first day something was going to go wrong. He got mad for me for blaming him (his words) for the situation. Swore at me, told me off, and said he was going home!

So I am about 10 miles away stuck in holiday traffic not knowing what this guy is doing, so I call the company and leave a message. Hi, I had so-and-so out to reinstall a faucet. He just swore at me, told me off, and apparently walked off the job. Could someone give me a call back? Thanks. Half an hour later I get a call from said plumber. He says, I took a piece of tape and used that in place of the washer - you are set until the new faucet arrives. Really? It was that simple to fix? I thanked him and told him that was all I wanted.

Still no call from the company....until, the next week. We would like to get so-and so out there to install your new faucet. My response? Oh, hi. I thought it was really strange that I didn't get a phone call back last week after I left a message regarding so-and-so. Loooonnnng pause, Oh, well, I spoke with so-and-so and he told me everything was fine she responded. I said, I would have thought you would have called me to see if that was the case. Looooonnnnng pause, Oh, well, you know, with the holiday stress,,,and I'm not saying this was the issue, but with unreasonable customers...... Really? Maybe I was being unreasonable, maybe - I don't think so, but maybe? Anyway - you don't even bother to call the customer? Really? Anyway - she clearly didn't understand why I thought it was unprofessional behavior for their employee to act the way that he did and why I was surprised that I didn't get a return call from them.

So she tells me that the important thing is to get someone out there to install the new one. Agreed. Set an appointment for 4 days from call, let them know where they can pick up the faucet (asked if I should get it and she said they had no problem picking up, she even read the address they had on file). 4 days later a very friendly plumber shows up...with no faucet. They didn't tell him he needed to pick it up. Poor guy had to head all the way across town to get it and come back. He installed the new one, gave me the old one and wished me a happy new year.

So - long story short - 5 stars for past decent service and the very competent, friendly plumber that came out today. 1 star for the shoddy service I just described = 3 stars

Terrible customer service!  The person who answered the phone didn't want to listen to the problem and then actually hung up on me.  I agree with Evan S. - they do not want your business.

We had a serious plumbing issue at our bar in Ballard and on a recommendation from an installer friend I called pioneer after normal business hours, I was prompted to call an emergency number and got directed to Stephen the owners son, he was out here within 5 minutes and got everything cleared up within a couple of hours. Easily the best experience I've had with a plumber who does drain service

In the winter of 2010, we had a broken water main. We had heard about Pioneer Plumbing through the Consumer Checkbook and after reading all of their good reviews decided to give them a try. Jeff was extremely easy to work with and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable and unaffected by the construction going on in our driveway.

Then around November of 2011, we realized we were having another water issue so we called Jeff again. He responded quickly and discovered one of parts he had previously installed had a manufacturers defect. We were very pleased that he stood behind his work and replaced the part free of charge. We would gladly recommend Pioneer Plumbing to our family and friends.

I just used Pioneer Plumbing and I was so impressed. Though I was a first time customer they sent someone out right away. They fixed my emergency plumbing problem in no time and with little expense. This has not always been the case with plumbers I have used in the past. Now I feel that I have a plumbing company that I can trust. Marie M

Beware this company. Before finishing the job they tried to tack on extra costs, raising the price over $2000 more than original estimate. I was not very happy with their work. The new install did not pass the air-tight test, the pipes were not well supported and one pipe was ran on the outside of a wall instead of behind it. Also, the new show lined would have stuck out of the wall if I hadn't redone the studs to get them to fit. When I tried to discuss the price change with them, they originally became hard to get in contact with. I think they expected I would feel pressured to pay the changed price so they could finish the job. I decided I would do a better job finishing it myself and waited until they were ready to look at the original estimate to come to an agreement about the price. They sent me bogus invoices until I made the stand by the original agreement. Not a trustworthy company at all.

Pioneer plumbing was the only one that could be reached after 8pm. the day after Thanksgiving.  They responded quickly, professionally and most of all friendly, within the hour.  We had a mess in our basement that was cleaned up right away.  They gave us a fix for the night and came back early Saturday morning to dig and do the full repair.  Jeff, Clayton and Steve were fabulous!  We ended up needing a new sewer line to the street.  Pioneer had the equipment and knowledge to do this without digging up our entire line.  We also had a contractor working on a bathroom remodel who agreed that Pioneer would be who he will call if he needs this service.
The clog was not a brand new issue for our older home and we had estimates done before.  Our line had collapsed.  Pioneer's quote was significantly less than two other rooting companies.  Additionally, the crew left our property in excellent shape.
Wonderful company and crew!

I am an apartment manager for a smaller building and have been using Pioneer Plumbing for about 3 yrs now.
Mostly clogged drains, slow drains, toilet back ups..... Today I used them for a bigger job, large leak coming from a units ceiling.
Scheduling was easy and they got me in as quickly as they could for the job that needed to be done. Every time I call I am given honest feed back with how quickly they can get to me. They actually got to me with in an hour one day, and it was the day before Thanksgiving!
Ive used a bunch of their plumbers and each one has been so nice and provided quality work. I have never had a difficult time with any of them.
My plumber arrived today and started work immediately, with each step he dumped debris and kept the work area very clean and answered my questions the best he could.
Billing is also timely and accurate. I feel their pricing is fine and have never felt over charged or confused by their billing.
Lets be honest plumbers are not cheap and parts are not cheap. I have done the research.  Anytime they have needed to send out for parts it has been done quickly and also I feel the cost has been about accurate.
I have been recommending them to all I know and I am long over due to give them a good  yelp review.
