Technician that was dispatched for estimate was very nice and thorough. Downside to this company is that they are, unfortunately because we did not research first, the only ones in town that do not offer free estimates. $49 service fee later we had an estimate for putting electric in for our pool that was $7000. We called three other electricians in town, all with very reputable ratings, and all have free estimates and quotes that were under $3000. Lesson learned for us is that this electrical company may offer good services but at a price that is over twice the going rate in

Travis Electric is a reliable company with fair pricing.  I wanted an exterior flood light for my backyard and left all the details with the receptionist.  Our technician Jacob came and knew exactly what we wanted and provided us with different options to get the job done.  Once we agreed,  he made sure everything was done correctly and to my liking.   I would definitely use this company for any future electrical needs.

I cannot praise Travis Electric enough for their superior customer service and courtesy shown to my family today.  I called Travis this morning at 8am and explained to Regan that my mother has had no telephone service for a week and yesterday we were advised by AT & T that we should have an electrician check mom's phone jacks for reconfiguration since they turned on her service but she still cannot place calls (no dial tone).   AT&T said their service order had been completed and it would be up to two weeks before they could get get back to her house to check the jacks and it would be more expensive if they did the reconfigurations than an electrician.   AT&T also said any electrician who knows what they're doing could reconfigure the jacks.  Since my mother is a senior and lives alone, I opted for an electrician.  Without question, Travis went to my mother's house today and performed their inspection and found nothing wrong with the phone jacks. Now I'm back to dealing with the incompetent AT&T.  Thanks to Travis electric from the bottom of our hearts for all of their concern for our problems today.  I will certainly recommend Travis Electric Co to everyone we know.

Mike was very professional. He arrived on time, wore shoe covers, gave me a fast and fair estimate while he was there. The next day, he returned and completed the work. I could not have asked for better service. This company is highly recommended.

Hello.
 I am selling a house and needed electrical work done by 5/29/2019. I called Travis Electrical service and requested a quote for wiring in a dishwasher and also an oven. I also needed 4 ceiling fans replaced and a vanity light in the bathroom installed. The team showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. I was given an estimate of $1000 but the house wiring would not be up to code in order to pass the building inspection. Travis Electrical stated that it would cost me an additional $1000 to bring things up to code. I agreed.
          4 hours later the team called me and said they had completed the project as I had agreed to bring them a check. During the walk through I was informed that one of the globes on a fan was broken when they opened the package. He said, Take the box back to Lowe's and the store would  replace it. (The globe). I took his word for it. I also asked if they guaranteed the house would pass building codes.  He said no. (In case they missed something)
        The next morning Travis Electrical Service administration called and were asking for a 5 star rating for the  electrical team. I stated that the team was courteous and professional but way overpriced @ $500 per hour.
     This morning I said that the work looked good.  I am now at the house inspecting the 4 ceiling fans.  Upon further inspection. I found that one of the lights was without chain markers (extended pieces of chain with a medallion at the end. This medallion is clearly marked either fan or light which makes it easy to turn on the fan or light or both. I searched through the boxes and found the two chains and installed them myself.
     Another fan had the two chains installed in the wrong place completely backwards.  Which I uninstalled and reinstalled correctly.  
     Because 3 out of 4 fans required work from me to operate correctly.  I am beginning to question whether the fixture was broken during installation or not.
    As I study the work receipt I see that I was charged $761 for five wireless smoke detectors. (Amazon sells them for $32 a piece). A plastic weather proof cover for an outlet was $54.
            I applaud their professionalism and courtesy but feel I was taken advantage of because of my deadline time frame and the extreme markup for smoke detectors and plastic all weather cover and the terrible attention to detail on the ceiling fans.
     The next day I received a call from the company's customer service asking if I was satisfied with the work. I said, No I am not satisfied.  And I explained to her why.
        She said, I will be there with a crew tomorrow and make everything right.
        They showed up on time. Fixed all my issues.
 Took the smoke detectors off the walls and gave me a refund check of $761.  I am very impressed with how deeply they wanted to make me a happy customer. And now I am.  5 stars for customer service.

Many thanks to Travis Electrical Service for helping in a huge way to restore our 1939 abode. Removed knob and tube, replaced outlets, moved meter box, and so much more. Professional, friendly, hard working! Chris, Jake, Gavin, Mike, Hunter - Excellent work!

I can't give Travis Electrical enough stars!! The ladies answering the phones and making appointments are incredibly friendly and helpful. They made me feel like my needs were their number one priority. And Kyle, the electrician they sent out was so professional and just overall a very nice guy. Diagnosed the issues right away. Gave us fair prices and got the work done in a very timely manner. I am thrilled with the results. He was able to double the amount of electricity to a work area. I am so pleased with them overall and would use them again in a heartbeat.

My church, Fairview United Methodist Church, in Fairview, Ky had hired Travis Electrical of Clarksville TN to do some work for us. They were very professional, kind and explained everything that needed to be done and the cost. We had a breaker go out and wouldn't reset. Called Travis Electrical and they had an person out in less than two hours. Fast work good prices and very clean even with my muddy yard in the rain. I will use them in the future.

I called for a quote on installing an interlock kit for an external generator.  I was given two estimates which were on the high side but with an outfit like this, fleet trucks with rolling ads on the side I was not surprised.  After agreeing and signing a quote I heard nothing for 4 weeks.  I sent them and email and got an immediate response stating that they would be here in 2 days to do the installation.  The morning of, I was called and told the part did not come in last night.  That means they ordered it the day they got the email and did nothing between the quote and the email.  An electrician showed up the next week and completed his work less the interlock switch and was meticulous and thorough.  He informed me that the incorrect template had been ordered for the interlock switch and he would turn in the request for the correct one.  Three weeks passed and again nothing until I called.   I was told that the switch had been ordered and they could install in 2 days.  Again, nothing happened until I stoked the fire.  This part was delayed and Becky in the office and I agreed that she would call when it did come in.  Another week pasted before part was here(you can get it on Amazon with prime delivery in 2 days).  I expressed my displeasure to Becky at having to ride herd on the entire process.  She spoke with the manager and operations and I was granted a discount of $100 for having to ride herd.  My electrician David was polite, professional, and meticulous.  The order and scheduling process at this company is incompetent from my experience.

Travis Electrical installed two new electrical outlets for a new dishwasher and.stove. The appliances being replaced had been hardwired when the house was built. They responded within 15 minutes of my contacting them. The guys were professional. They explained the costs prior to completing the work. I will definitely call them again when I need electrical services.
